Shinji, a boy who lived with his uncle as his father's work, was world saving from angels, and he didn't want Shinji to be part of it after he lost shinji mom.He didn't want shinji near Tokyo 3 as Angel's would be there in a few years.But Gendo Ikari always made time to call Shinji his son, always checking up on him. Shinji, over time, noticed his father being happier, and he asked what was new. His father answered by saying he met a woman with a high rank in nerv named Ritsuko, she was a doctor, scientist, engineer and had blonde hair with a white lab coat, they were dating, which surprised Shinji as he thought his father would never find love again but he was happy for him.A year later Shinji was 12 years old right now as it was 2013Shinji was shocked that his father now wanted to marry Ritsuko after all the angels were killed. Shinji was very happy as this meant that he'll have amother again, he just hoped that she liked him, which his father said he didn't have to worry has she was also happy that shinji would be her kid. _It was now 2015. Shinji was in Tokyo 3 to his father request. Apparently, he needed to plot, which his father was not happy with, but he needed his son help.Shinji accepted as it would bring his dreams of his father and soon to be stepmother into a real family. And he'll get to meet Ritsuko in person.He was waiting for his driver, Misato captain."Bang!!" "BANG!" Shinji looks around to see the military helicopters attacking something behind the hill. "ANGEL!" Shinji eyes widened it was here he needed to get out of here now. Shinji tries to find cover and has a JSSDF helicopter start to crash towards him. Luckily, a car appears out of nowhere, finally captain Misato is here. Shinji let out a sigh of relief.Misato was a woman with purple hair and had a black outfit with a skirt and sharp chin."Sorry, I am late. Well, get in the car!" Shinji nodes and gets in, Misato normal drives as third Angel is getting blasted, my missile, and bombs in the back.Misato turns her head to the car mirror and grinns. " So you're the commanders son? I guess I can see the resemblance." Shinji sweat pans.She the. He puts out a hand on her open window and speaks again."Though, Dr, Akagi is excited to meet you in person. She won't tell me why, am curious, Shinji, how do you know Ritsukos?" Misato asked. Shinji took a moment to answer and spoke up, "Well, she kind of my new mom." Shinji says while smiling. Misato has a shocked face as her brain gets fried from the information that she was told. 'Then the rumors were true about the commander, and Rits are true.. Damm she a player." Misato muttered as Shinji goes to look out the window."Misato, what's that?" They stop for a moment as they hear something. Misato puts on binoculars to see they planted N2 mines."No, they wouldn't!"Misato frantically moves, "we need to get a move on! Never mind, not enough time!" "BOOOOMM!!!" An explosion that goes up to the sky Shinji hides inside the car with Misato. A secondary wave of air hits the car, and they get flipped over.At Nerv "That had to work. That was the most powerful weapon!" A military general screams. A sky camera then shows a video of the angel. To their horror, it was completely unfazed and not danged. They gasped and goan in frustration."You take over Ikari." With that, Nerv had the go to go all out."We will now start. But we need my son help for Eva 01." 'Were is the captain with my son? They are late. Did they get hit by the N2 mine blast wave?' Gendo brows grow highly Ritsuko had a worried expression on and thought,'Why does Misato always have to be late? Shinji should have been here by now. I'll go look for them.' "Commander Ikari, I would like to request I look for Eva unit 1 ploit and captain Misato?" Ritsuko turns to her lover Gendo, who had the same expression on his face at was still well hidden.Gendo node "Permission granted, Dr Akagi" he was still holding his interlocked hands near his face. With Misato and Shinji lost in Nerv They were in an elevator going down to Nerv HQ. The door opens to a blonde lady with a twitching eye, pretty angry.Misato chuckles, embarrassed while scratching her head. Ritsuko then sighed when she noticed Shinji with her.She walks up and hugs bear Shinji. Shinii hugs back. "Hi, mother," Ritsuko slowly let's go and pats Shinji on the head."It's good to see your aright Shinji, am sorry we had to get you involved with the angel mess." Shinji shakes his head "no really it's ok, I want to help." Ritsuko nodes.5 minutes later, Shinji, Misato, and Ritsuko make their way to Eva 01 cage once they get there it wad pitch black dark.'Why is it so dark in here?' Shinji thought as he said that the lights turned.In front of Shinji was a big purple mech. He remembered it. It sent a chill down his spine it looked like it was looking into his soul."Shinji, my boy, you made it. We need your help. We need you to pilot Eva01." Shinji took a deep breath and exhaled"Yes, father, I'll do it, I'll help." Shinji said with resolve in his voice.Gendo gave a small smile and gave the order to start.Then the boy noticed a girl with blue hair she was badly injured. Ritsuko noded and the Nerv workers start the process of active Eva01, but when the ground starts to shake and throws any off balance.A piece of the celling starts about 20 feet of debere to fall over shinjis' head, and the boys' life flashes between his eyes.Suddenly, a purple hand gave from nowhere and blocked it."How did the Eva move?!" Misato asked.Ritsuko eyes widened, and the eva had no energy to move it would be impossible to happen, but she was glad that shinji was saved."Shinj, are you right!" Ritsuko picks up the small debar from around Shinji from the ground to see him staring at Rei, who fell off and now was in even more pain. He turns to his step mom and speaks, "Am alright, let's get me into the robot.. am taking this angel down." Shinji spoke off sad from what he saw too, anger to what he wanted to do the angel."Shinji, be careful." Ritsuko said she gave his another quick hug and went off to the control bridge.The staff members were alitte shocked to see the scary scientists be so lovely to a boy of the Commander. But quickly had to forget it has Ritsuko yell at them to get back to work.Shinji in Eva 01.He was honestly scared to be in it. He remembered some of what happened to his mother. He didn't want it to happen to him, too, but he needed to step up."Everything looking good. And his synthesis with Eva 01 is the best we have ever seen!" Maya yells the last part."Almost like he was made for this." Another bridge staff said.'Shinji, this is incredible.' Ritsuko reflects."Bring, the Eva01 pilot to the surface!"Misato Commandeds.Shinji was lunched to Tokyo 3.It was dark, but there was some light.Shinji opens his eyes to see The 3rd Angel.."Ok, Shinji, it's just like walking," he muttered to himself. The big mech moves its right leg perfectly... then it falls on its face."Everthing is going red, ma!" "Reconnect!" Dr,Akagi yells "Not working!" Ritsuko gritts her teeth. Shinji starts to scream in pain as the angel picks him up and breaks his left hand and creates a rod to his head.he feels a rod going through his headHe gets launched to another building.In the camera in the eva, Shinji goes limp.'Gendo not scared for Shinji which mea-"Aaaagggggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!" Everyone in the Bridge turns to the camera.Eva01 is now in berserk mode, with it's one eye glowing now.It charges head first into the angel, the 3rd now scared for its life. It blasts Eva 01 only for it to do nothing. The purple mech grabs it's two hands and breaks them. Grabbing it spikes on its chest, riping them out and repeatedly stabbing the angel. The angel decides to self-destruction by grabing eva 01 and froms a sphere with it body.Ritsuko Gaspes An explosion that turned into a cross hovered over the destroyed city. The city coved with bright yellow smoke, Eva 01 walks out with swag slowly and comes to a stop.Ikari puts an unfazed face and looks down at the staff."Send out the rescue squad,and bring my son back with the Eva 1,"Commander Ikari ordered for his post. "Yes, sir!" Gendo leaves his post and makes his way to meet RitsukoHe goes to Ritsuko's office.Gendo opens the door to see his lover working on piles of paperwork.Her head was on the desk resting until she noticed Gendo walking in."Geni, Shinji almost die on his first day Piloting.." muttered Ritsuko Gendo walks behide Ritsuko and hugs her and puts his head on her shoulder." Rits, Eva 01 protects Shinji. I know this so I don't have to worry too much. You know what an Eva can do. So don't worry, I do my best to make sure Shinji is protected." Ritsuko then throws her arm over Gendo neck and kisses Gendo. Gendo, happy accepts and kisses back."I guess my mother instincts are kicking in." She chuckles while rubbing her head on his chest. _In the hospital in NERV the next day.Shinji wakes up to see the hospital celling. It was bright lit, and the walls were white.The boy gets up from the bed,He then puts a hand on his forehead."What happened? Last I remembered... was getting my head ramed in by a rod."Shinji gets out of bed and puts on his uniform clothes. He goes outside and waits on a bench. A guard comes to him and tells him that his guardian is coming to pick him up. Shinji nods, and thanks to him.'I wish I got that blue haired girls name' Shini thought to himself._
