Chapter 8: Jadeite's Last Stand
At the Dark Kingdom… Queen Beryl was furious. After everything things were not going well…
Jadeite had kept failing and failing and she had enough of it!
"You have failed so many times." Muttered Queen Beryl.
"Queen Beryl." Said Jadeite, "It's those Sailor Guardians!"
"That doesn't matter!" yelled Queen Very.
Jadeite flinched at this.
"You will destroy the Sailor Guardians in your next attack and if you fail you be forced into eternal sleep." Said Queen Beryl .
The various Youma gasped in horror.
Jadeite gritted his teeth at the threat.
"Fine… I will kill them." Said Jadeite.
"You better." Said Queen Beryl.
Sometime later in Echo Creek…
Star was looking up in the sky.
She was thinking about skull mask.
However that was when Jadeite appeared in the sky,.
"Sailor Moon! Sailor Mercury! Sailor Mars!" called out Jadeite.
"Oh that's not good." Said Star.
Luna walked over to the window know whatever it was it was bad.
""Come to the airport tomorrow night at midnight." Said Jadeite, "And if you don't…"
That was when the entire area was set on fire.
However it was quickly clear to everyone that the fire wasn't real but rather an illusion.
"If you don't come, this what will happen to entire city." Called out Jadeite as the fake flames disappeared, "So remember what will happen if you don't show up…"
Jadeite then disappeared.
Marco ran into the room.
"Star!" he yelled.
'I know! I saw." Said Star.
The next day at school practically everyone was talking about it.
After all a strange man appears in the sky and threatens to burn down the city.
Though during call Miss Skullnick made an announcement.
"Tonight the cops are going to be at the airport… so none of you better think of going!" called out Miss Skullnick.
There was a an awkward silence.
Janna was about to say something.
"If you want to be arrested Janna… go ahead." Said Miss. Skullnick.
"She's right! You shouldn't go!" yelled Star, "IT's really dangerous!"
The rest of the class gaped at Star.
"Okay… if Star is saying it's dangerous, then it's dangerous." Said Miss Skullnick.
Rei face palmed at this while Amaya said nothing.
Thankfully they came up with a plan to make things easy that night.
Amaya and Rei got permission to have a sleep over with Star.
"Okay I think now's a good idea to go." Said Amaya looking over a clock.
Thankfully they knew they could easily get to the airport thanks to the scissors.
Marco was also there.
"Be careful…" said Marco, "Please…"
The three nodded.
"I'll watch over them." Said Luna.
Star cut open a portal to the airport.
They wandered around and ducked behind a wall when they saw the police.
"How are we going to get passed them?" asked Star.
However that when the police started to attack them!
"What! Come on we're just normal girls!" said Star, "You shouldn't be attacking us!"
That was when Rei kicked ones of them. And their arm fell off.
"I don't think they're normal police officers." Said Star.
"Transform,!" called out Luna.
They nodded.
"Moon Prism Power!" called out Star.
"Mercury Power!" called Amaya.
"Mars Power!" called out Rei.
"Makeup!" they all called out.
All of them transformed.
Sailor Mercury pulled up her headset.
She saw that the police were fakes.
"They're made of mud." She told them.
"All right!" said Sailor Moon.
"Fire Soul!" called out Sailor Mars.
She burned away all of the fake police officers.
"Oh man I wanted to use a spell!" complained Sailor Moon.
Before anyone could say anything about that they heard laughter.
"So that's who you are." Said Jadeite
What?" asked Sailor Moon.
"I saw you transform." Mocked Jadeite.
Star face palmed.
"Why didn't we transform before we got here?" muttered Sailor Mars.
"I don't know." Said Sailor Moon.
"Either way perhaps it's best we meet outside." Said Jadeite disappearing.
"It's a trap." Said Luna.
"We know…" said Sailor Moon.
She prepared her waned.
"We have to beat him." Said Sailor Moon .
They followed Jadeite outside.
"So you're finally here." Said Jadeite.
"Of course we are." Said Star.
"What I'm surprised that you were able to take over an international airport." Said Sailor Mercury.
"With my power it was child's play." Mocked Jadeite.
Sailor Moon quickly realized.
"Yeah that makes sense." She said.
"Not to mention what else I can do!" said Jadeite.
However before he could do anything, he had to dodge a kick.
He saw it came from Skull Mask.
"Oh you're here too." Said Jadeite.
"Of course I am." said Skull Mask.
The two began to fight…
Of course it clear that Skull Mask was teenager fighting a grown man…
A grown man with many powers.
It got to the point where Jadeite was able to not only hit Skull M ask hard but to knock him into the nearby water.
"Skull Mask!" cried Sailor Moon.
They saw that hit his hat was floating in the water.
"Looks like he's no more." Mocked Jadeite, "Just like you will be…"
That as when airplane started to move towards then on their own.
"All right!" said Sailor Moon taking out her wand.
"Don't!" called out Luna watching them.
"What! Why!" yelled Sailor Moon.
"Do you know how much money it would cost to replace them?" asked Luna.
"Would it cost a treasure chest?" asked Sailor Moon.
"I'm sorry but what?" asked Sailor Mercury.
"A treasure chest." Said Sailor Moon like it was nothing.
"As in gold and jewels?" asked Sailor Mars.
'Yeah… my family can give away a 1,000 of them to pay back something and it won't even make a dent in our money." Said Sailor Moon.
Luna sighed and face pawed.
"I don't know if your mother would be happy if you destroyed one… even with good reasons." Sighed Luna.
"Okay… good point." Said Sailor Moon,
They ran from the Airplanes as they got closer. And then another airplane started to chase after them.
That was when Sailor Moon Realized something.
"Super soft cushiony shield!" she called out.
She created shield that stopped the airplanes very easily. They just lightly bounced against the shields and stopped thanks to them.
Sailor Moon breathed a sigh of relief.
"Are you kidding me!" yelled Jadeite, "Maybe using planes to do my dirty work wouldn't have helped."
He knew he had to face them headed on.
"This will be easy!" said Jadeite.
However the three were already in a huddle.
Are you sure that will work?" asked Sailor Moon.
"I don't know but it might." Said Sailor Mercury.
"We need to try something." Said Sailor Mars.
The other two nodded.
"What are you trying to do?" asked Jadeite.
"Bubble Spray!" called out Sailor Mercury.
The fog quickly rolled in.
He looked around tiring to figure what was going on.
Thankfully Sailor Mars prepared many scrolls for this. She began to chant, then called ""Akuryo Taisan!" as she placed the various scrolls on Jadeite.
Jadeite couldn't move at all.
"Now to use my strongest spell!" called out Sailor Moon, "Spider with a Top Hat Blast!"
She then summoned a tiny spider waiting a top hat.
There was an awkward silence as they all stared at the spell...
Only bot the spider's top hat to open revealing it was a Gatling Gun and began to blast Jadeite away.
He struggled to get up…
"You might have won…" he muttered, "But I will come back for you Star Butterfly, Rei Hino, Amaya Aqua…"
"How do you know our names?" asked Sailor Moon.
"Around… I've been targeting the people around you for a while now…" muttered Jadeite.
He then disappeared…
"We really have to worry about that." Said Sailor Mercury.
"I know…" sighed Sailor Mars.
However Sailor Moon was looking at the water.
"No…" she whispered.
However that was when a figure grabbed the floating hat and jumped away.
Sailor Moon was happy when he saw him.
"You're alive!" she cheered.
"Don't worry I'll be here." said Skull Mask as he practically flew away.
Meanwhile in the Dark Kingdom, Jadeite was begging for one more chance .
"Please my Queen I lost this time but I discovered something very important…" said Jadeite.
"I don't want to hear it… now you must sleep for all eternity." Said Queen Beryl.
"What! No!" yelled Jadeite.
A crystal started to engulf him.
"No! No! Please stop this! Stop this now! I know the Sailor Guardians..,." he begged.
However he could finish that sentence to tell her he knew their identities he was encased in the crystal.
"Remember to all those that fail, this could be your fate." Said Queen Beryl.
And the frozen Jadeite disappeared with this.
"Nephrite…" called out Queen Beryl.
A man with long brown hair appeared.
"I trust you can do the job much better than Jadeite. "said Queen Beryl.
"Yes my Queen." Said the man named Nephrite.
And indeed Jadeite was defeated once and for all… however they didn't know was they had a new enemy who had a much different tactic than Jadeite.
