An unexpected update to one of my all time favorites stories ever which I still hope to one day finish as I already have the ending planned out. High school debut was one of my very first stories and probably my most popular if not second most popular story on my page so I truly do hope to one day finish this story, not just for myself but for whoever still reads this story and anticipates an ending.

*He was obsessed with her, his reasons unknown. Yellow was unlike any girl we had ever met, she was special, different, a life changing occurrence. She was the first daughter of the lockhart family, and the beginning of a disastrous chain of events that had yet to unfold.*

"When Yellow came into our lives, we thought nothing of her, she was a nuisance to me and Zero, we never cared for a sister nor wanted one, but our mother was set on having a daughter, with three sons, I guess her frustrations were understandable."

"Where did she come from?" asked the brunette in distraught, the words of the first daughters death still wavering behind her mind, a painful echo that wouldn't fade.

Red's eyes faded down towards the ground, she could sense the pain behind every word of his, "She was adopted from a neighboring region, our parents found her while my father was starting his campaign run over there".

"Zero was never normal to begin with, he looks like an ordinary boy on the outside, but what he hides inside is something beyond nightmares, he has sadistic tendencies and takes pleasure in humiliating and inflicting pain on others no matter the consequences that arise from his actions".

"What exactly did he do to her?"

It was becoming harder and harder for him to talk, the feelings began hitting close to his heart, and although she didn't like seeing him like this, she had to know the truth, she needed to know just how far Zero was capable of taking his games.

"He starts off by teasing, and then rough housing, and before you know it it turns into bullying, not just by him, but by his friends, and eventually…..by the entire school."

The dark reality began coming back to her, the exact order in which he said it was exactly how she was preyed upon, her innocence and pure heart to trust had led her into her own demise by his cold hands.

"The entire school…...how is that possible?" he asked.

It was then that her chest felt tight, she could barely stand to breathe, but she knew she had to start talking, "Zero was the most powerful student at our school…...because he was a lockhart, everybody followed his every whim, and anyone who defied him….was ruined."

"B-but you were a lockhart at that time too-"

She shook her head, "In their eyes…..I was never a lockhart, because I was adopted nobody really acknowledged me, I was trash to them….Zero…..turned the whole school against me, as if being at home falling victim to his endless torture wasn't enough…..he created chaos at school, I was living in his world, and I was merely a pawn in his games."

"W-what kind of a sick bastard does this!" shouted Gary in rage, just the thought of everything she had to endure fueled the boiling blood in his veins, he wanted revenge, no, he wanted to kill him.

"He's the worst kind…...my brother is selfish, he doesn't care about anybody or anything…..except her."

"Do you mean…...Yellow?"

He nodded, "Like I had said…..she was something entirely different, me and Zero had never met anybody like her…..and that's when everything started to fall apart…..because from what was supposed to be a sibling bond, came about a forbidden love….I fell in love with Yellow as a woman, not as my sister…..and while she returned my feelings, Zero had also fallen for her."

"We knew what was between us was wrong, it would tear the whole family apart and if media ever caught word of it, a scandal would arise for my father who was still running for office….it just…..it felt like we were in a bind."

"W-what happened…" she asked, hesitant to hear the fatal results, but her curiosity was still peeking.

"I couldn't give up on us…. We didn't want to, so we decided we would run away together and start a new life for ourselves…..unfortunately, before that could even happen, Zero revealed our secret to our parents…...hysteria broke out amongst the family. Zero convinced them the best option was to send me away, so they did…...and before I knew it, I was on a plane to Hoenn's boarding school for boys."

"After I was shipped away, Yellow began contacting me through letters, she spoke with love and kindness, telling me in every letter that she missed me and that she would wait for me….but as time went on...the words behind her letters were showing sadness….I could see the tear stains still imprinted on the papers…..she would write to me…..telling me she missed me more and more…...she would describe how dark the world had become for her…..how the people she trusted betrayed her…...I tried to understand what she meant through her letters…..so I kept waiting for them to come..….but eventually….the letters stopped."

"The day before christmas I was allowed to come back to celebrate the holidays with my family, I was excited to finally be able to see her…...but when I arrived….they had broke the news to me of what had happened….Yellow had committed suicide….she had jumped off the roof of the school, nobody knew why…...at least that's what they had said…...but I knew one person who knew the full truth…...Zero….but even after confronting him so many times…...he never told me what exactly happened to her while I was gone."

She could see the darkness in his eyes grow before her very own, the warmth was quickly iced over, the fire in them burning out. He was a broken man, losing Yellow left him with a missing piece of his heart, never to return.

"After that day, I never forgave myself…..I should have seen how much she was suffering through her letters…...I could have saved her….but I didn't…..because I was a fool." he buried his face into his palm, taking in a deep breath as he resisted the urge to cry.

It only felt right to comfort him, she stroked his head, patting it lightly as he then took in a breath, "It wasn't your fault, you were also a victim to Zero's tricks."

"After that day, I vowed to never let Zero harm another person, that's why when our parents began adopting more daughters into the family I would reject and scare them off into going back to their original homes….I never hated them, I just couldn't bare getting close to anybody else and then seeing them get taken away from me".

"But then when I came….." Leaf muttered, looking up at Red who surprised both her and Gary when they saw his tears fall.

He lifted his head up slightly, his piercing red eyes striking into her, "It was like history was repeating itself once more…when you came into our lives it felt like Yellow was back with us….you acted just like her…...you tried to make everybody around you happy no matter if you weren't happy yourself, even when you were sad you still smiled…you tried to really make us like a family…...you were different….and once again I found myself falling into forbidden temptations…..because I had fallen in love with you, not as my sister…...but as a woman…."

"L-loved me….you loved me?" she staggered, unaware there was a glaring brunette standing behind her.

"What else happened?" he asked trying to avert the topic.

He sighed, "... Zero found Yellow in you too….and that's why I think he began to target you, I tried…...I really did try to protect you…...but Zero manipulated mom and dad into sending me away again…..and once more I found myself studying abroad, they refused to let me come back."

Her body felt cold, goosebumps rose on the surface of her skin, this unshakeable feeling of being watched still wavered behind her, she hugged her body tightly, refusing to succumb to the dark sensation, "Nobody will ever understand the pain I went through while being his puppet, I really did trust him you know…...I came to love him like a brother just as I did with you and big brother Lance…..that's why I think the most painful thing I endured was knowing that someone I put my trust and opened my heart to…..had crushed it without any regret."

She shook her head, a crazed look now growing in her eyes, a look Gary had never seen in her, was this really still the same Leaf? She ran her hand through her hair, now clenching it into a tight grasp "Zero was a master of manipulation and fear….he convinced the students of the school that I was the enemy…...he blackmailed teachers into turning a blind eye and ultimately made our parents believe that I was going insane…...and when they had had enough, I was sent to Blackthorne sanitarium, where strangely enough, I found the peace I had wanted all along…..there was no chaos….just…..peace."

"How were you able to escape?" asked Gary, he took a step forward, wanting so badly to hug the trembling girl, to hold her in his arms and show her comfort.

"I didn't….I was released, news broke out all across the region about father and me, calling the lockhart family heartless and cruel for punishing me by sending me to Blackthorne…..it was ruining dad's image and his trust with his voters, so they granted me a release and brought me home…...but I couldn't take any more games….I was tired...I truly felt that If I had stayed any longer...I might have followed in the same steps as Yellow and taken my own life….…..so I ran away, I found myself on the first flight back here where I've been staying since then, Ivy had helped me get back on my feet and the lockharts have since severed ties except for the check they send to the home in order for us to keep quiet."

"So that's it then…...all of that leads to now, where Zero is trying to track you down." Said the brunette while roughly sighing, he slammed his fist down on the table, startling both Leaf and Red who noticed his rage transfer through the crack he left on the table.

"Gary…." mumbled Leaf, still staggered by his sudden change in behavior.

"Zero thinks he's powerful enough to do what he wants, well let's just see what happens when he goes up against me, I'm going to make him regret ever laying a hand on you."

Red nodded, agreeing that Zero had to be stopped, "Even though he is my brother, I can't let him continue doing as he pleases…..the only problem is, where is he now? He's in the region, so that means we have to make sure he doesn't find Leaf."

Her phone began ringing, she looked down at the unknown number and then up at Gary and Red, "...I'm afraid he already has."

(Paul/Dawn)

"How do you know him?"

"I told you, I met him a few days ago that time you kidnapped me from work, he asked for my number and since then has asked me out."

"You're lying."

"What more do you want me to say?! He's a childhood friend? I already told you how I know him, there's nothing more to the story." she scowled, already frustrated with the conversation.

He crossed his arms, now facing the ring where the matches were taking place, "All I'm saying is that he seems to act like he's really familiar with you, like more than just a first time date familiar type."

"Is this your way of telling me to not go out with him? Because it's not working". She sighed tiredly.

"I don't care who you date, as long as it's not him." he hissed almost too noticeably, she quickly caught on to Paul's obvious dislike for the blonde.

She scoffed in response, fed up with his antics, "I can date anybody I want, that's not for you to decide, got that?"

"Fine then, go on a date with me."

Her head snapped over to him almost immediately, "What?!"

He calmly turned over to her, his eyes as sharp as ever, "You heard me, if you're going to go out on a date with him then go on one with me as well."

"W-wait how does this tie into your hatred for him?"

"You'll see." he smirked.

"PAUL!" she couldn't stand the subtle context of his words.

He shushed her, now pointing up to the ring where Ash entered from one end and his opponent on the other.

"Hey guys". Misty sighed distressingly, she took a seat next to them, now looking up with pitiful eyes towards the raven haired boy who was hyping himself to fight.

"What's wrong?" asked Dawn worryingly.

The red head shook her head, "Did you guys know he had a girlfriend?"

"Who?" asked Paul quirking an eyebrow up.

"Ash."

Both their eyes widened, "WHAT?!"

"That idiot has a girlfriend?" asked Paul now pointing to Ash for confirmation.

Misty nodded, "Yeah, I met her a few moments ago back in the locker room."

"W-well what did she look like?" asked Dawn, still unable to believe her.

She noticed how her question only bummed the redhead even more, "She's….beautiful…..like a doll, no…..like a model…"

"Hey red." she turned up to Paul who like always had his dead panned expression.

"Yeah?"

"Do you like that idiot?" he asked, a question which now sparked curiosity in Dawn who now turned to look at the red head with an astonished expression.

"Misty…...is that true? Do you have feelings for Ash?"

She quickly went on the defense, "N-no! I-it's not even like that! I-i mean I'm just surprised, Ash never seemed like the type to be into girls, so I just never imagined him having a girlfriend for some reason."

"So what, you thought he was gay then?" asked Paul, an accusation which caused both Dawn and Misty to blush.

"N-NO!" she blurted out, now covering her mouth as she noticed her loudness attract several stares.

She sighed in composure, "No, I just mean I never saw him as the romantic type, so I guess it just came as a shock to see him with a girlfriend, but then again….he's so much different from the Ash I used to know back then."

Dawn frowned, seeing how much this revelation was affecting Misty, " Misty…..I know Ash and you used to be really close back then, and it may seem like you're only mere strangers to each other, but bonds like yours and Ash don't just disappear, they're still there, it just takes time."

Her words brought about a type of comfort and warmth to her, she was right, Ash and her still shared a deep bond, though it may not seem like it now, she still knew it was there, "Thanks Dawn, I'm sure yours and Paul's bond is just as strong, huh." she laughed, though she quickly realized that the bluenette didn't understand.

"What do you mean?" she asked, now looking at Misty curiously.

Misty chuckled wearily, "Well…..yeah, you and Paul were inseparable, we all were, remember?"

Paul was staring at the bluenette, noticing the conflict and confusion on her expression, as if she truly didn't know what Misty was talking about, "Y-yeah…...I mean…..we were all childhood friends right? So we were….were inseparable."

"Dawn?" said Misty, now worrying about the bluenettes sudden incertitude.

"Hey troublesome….do you really not remember?" asked Paul, now leaning in closer towards her face, her cheeks had flared up from the sudden proximity.

"W-what's with you?! Of course I do! Geez!" she pushed him away, now storming off as both Paul and Misty looked at one another, hesitancy appearing on there faces as they realized something wasn't right with her.

The bluenette stormed out of the scene, now making her way outside into the streets, she stopped nearby a shop, now leaning back against it as she cupped the side of her head into her palm, now tightly clenching her eyes.

Her thoughts wouldn't disappear, *W-what the hell is wrong with you Dawn….what…...what's wrong with me….*

(Back inside)

"Something's been off about her since the beginning." Paul sighed then scratched his head in frustration.

"I hadn't noticed, but the way she acted just now is a bit suspicious, but then again, it's not like we're all close like how we used to be back then, we've all grown apart, it's understandable if the past is the past for her now."

Paul scoffed, now folding his arms as he watched the match Ash was taking part in, "And I suppose you're letting the past be in the past? Because it doesn't seem like you are, you're here now and I'm assuming it's not because you like fights, you're here for Ash, you two live in completely different worlds yet you chose to follow him into his, that's not exactly letting the past be in the past."

She remained silent after that, Paul was right, she didn't like it, but ultimately he was, even though Delia asked her to watch over him, even if she hadn't asked her, she would have still done it.

The purple haired teen noticed the sorrowful look on the redhead, although he didn't like dealing with emotions, he always considered Misty a good acquaintance, "Ash is an idiot…...I hate him….."

Misty looked at him, brows furrowing in anger, "I get it."

He rolled his eyes, "I hate him, but I've learned to have a newfound respect for him, he's not the complete idiot he used to be back then, he's actually somewhat grown, Ash found himself…...it's hard to believe this is it, but who are we to judge, he's changed, and so have you, we all have in fact. Don't let something like this discourage you, although we were never close despite knowing each other since we were kids, I always found you to be a strong chick, you're probably one of the few people I still respect to this day, and I don't often acknowledge that, you'll overcome this and learn to accept it, because one thing's for sure, I'm never wrong".

She was at a loss for words, Paul was complimenting her and giving advice as well as words of comfort? The Paul who was always feared throughout childhood and even now in the city and at school. It felt nice nonetheless, she really did feel as if his words helped her, even if a little, "Wow Paul….I didn't know you could be this nice."

He stood up from his seat, "I'm not, I just can't stand when people don't understand the obvious, next time you want to sob do it with Ash."

She smiled up at him, this was the Paul she knew from childhood, ruthless, it was perfect, he smirked back down at her as he made his way out, "Thanks Paul."

He had left, Dawn had left, now she was the only one remaining, the fight was still going on and even though she missed some of it while talking to the others, just the sight alone was telling her that Ash was dominating.

"You're a dead king!" his opponent threw a fearsome kick, aiming directly for the raven haired kings head who blocked it with both of his arms.

He took several steps back, holding his fists up as he waited for his opponent to throw another hit, and he did, now missing Ash who quickly dodged to his side, now throwing his fist and landing a strike on his opponents face, throwing him down brutally to the ground which riled up the crowd.

Misty breathed in, she didn't like the atmosphere, she didn't like the crowd chanting for both of these boys to beat the living hell out of each other for there entertainment, and she definitely didn't like seeing Ash get hurt. However, deep down, she found to admire his determination, she could see the passion and fire in his eyes grow more and more intense with every passing second in the ring, this really was Ash from childhood, just a grown up Ash.

His opponent got back up, suddenly tackling the raven haired boy down to the ground, pinning him as he was throwing punch after punch down at him. The crowd's reaction got even stronger, Ash's face swinging back and forth was making her chest tighten.

She stood up, clenching both of her hands together as her heart began racing, "GET UP!"

His eyes widened, was it an illusion? Was Misty really encouraging him?

"Misty…"

He saw her eyes watering up, she looked like a ticking time bomb ready to explode with angry tears, "GET UP! FINISH HIM!"

It was like something ticked inside of him, he struck his knee into his opponents gut, throwing him off as he rolled over now jumping back on his feet, he rotated his head to relax his neck. "I'm up." he mumbled.

"U-guh...bastard!" the challenger crawled as he still held onto his stomach, but the king had picked him up back on his feet, now throwing a punch to his face. He pushed him back, now spinning on his left heel as he rose his right foot up, slamming the sole of his foot against his challengers head, a dead knockout which was called by the referee.

"THE WINNER! KING ASH!"

The whole crowd exploded with cheers, congratulating the raven haired boy who leaned against the ropes, tired out as he looked down at a smiling Misty who had tears running down her eyes.

"I won." he breathed, now flashing a cheeky grin at the redhead who nodded, wiping her tears away in embarrassment.

"Yeah…...you did."

(May and Drew)

"Are you sure this is ok?" he asked, pausing right before stepping in. It was the first time since their fall out that he had stepped into her home.

"Drew…" she grabbed his hand, now giving him a comforting smile as he found her expression relaxing.

He walked in, the feeling the nostalgia hit him as he recognized and remembered that everything was in it's exact place except for some new additions like new pieces of furniture. "The place hasn't changed has it?" he chuckled.

She scratched her head wearily, "Mom doesn't exactly like change, what she chooses is perfection as father says."

He wandered about with the brunette at his side, both of them strolling into the living room where they sat on the couch, "Well, your mom's definitely a confident person isn't she, everything must go her way, what about your father? How is he?"

She seemed more conflicted this time, he wrapped his arm around her, bringing her in where she began cuddling next to his side, now resting her head on his chest.

"We already know how my father is, actually…..I haven't seen him that much lately, ever since he began opening more branches and expanding his law firm, I've seen him less, but when I do he's always telling me to keep up my grades and to stay number one, he's expecting me and Max to follow in his steps and go to law school after graduation."

He could hear the discontent in her voice, "Is that your dream?"

She shook her head, "No….honestly, I don't know what I want to do when I graduate, my parents always encourage me and my brother to be at the top of our schools, my father has made it absolutely clear that I take over for him in the future…...but…..I don't want to."

He looked up at her as she got up, now following her around the house where she came across a closed room, she opened it, leaving the green haired boy speechless at what was inside.

There were portraits of a beautiful, no, a gorgeous brown haired girl, small headshots of her were also hung on the walls along with posters of what seemed like movies. There were cabinets full of awards and giant gold and silver plated records on plaques hanging as well.

"W-what is this?" he asked.

"Mom's golden room, you didn't know huh, my mom was a huge star back in the day, she was the biggest celebrity of her time in Hoenn, a gifted actress and singer as my dad described her."

"Whoa…...what happened?" he asked taking a closer look at one of the awards in the cabinet.

She looked at the biggest portrait in the room, her mother was standing on stage performing, she seemed younger in the photo, most likely in her early twenties, "She met my dad, and they fell in love, shortly after they had me and she realized she didn't want the family dealing with her fame, or the reality that we would always be watched by the press, so she retired, and my parents moved here to Sinnoh with me when I was just a baby."

"She's amazing…...look at all these awards, best actress, artist of the year…...she's a legend." whispered Drew.

May nodded, stroking her hand across the posters on the wall as she circled around the room slowly, "This…...I can only imagine what a beautiful life she had during her times as a star, the crowd chanting your name, performing for millions, and having your face on every screen and magazine, it must have been amazing."

"Is that what you want?" asked Drew turning around to her.

She paused, now looking at him dumbfounded, "What."

"You say you don't know what you want to do, but I think subconsciously you do, the way you talked right now about your mom and her former life, you spoke with sincerity, curiosity…...with passion…..May, you have the most amazing voice I have ever heard, I think…..I think you're destined to be just like your mom, a star."

She exploded into laughter, startling Drew who didn't know why she had such a sudden random response, "Why are you laughing?"

She shook her head, "I just….I don't think that's possible, I love singing and performing for others, but to become a star….." a sigh escaped her lips as she stopped laughing, her eyes looking up at her mother's picture with admiration.

"...I don't have the heart to make it into that world….she talked about it, and while the world saw only sees its glory, behind it all is darkness."

He grabbed her hand, now smiling at the brunette who turned over to his direction, "You have more heart than anyone else, believe me."

"I….I don't know."

He jolted out of nowhere, now looking down at his watch where he saw the time, "Crap, I should get going, If not then Azalea will be on my ass, not that I believe it after what you did to her."

He chuckled, grabbing her hand as he leaned in to give her a kiss on the cheek only for her to turn to the side, he paused, looking startled by her rejection, "May? What's wrong?"

Her cheeks turned rosy, he couldn't understand why, and why she suddenly looked at the ground while gripping his hand even more firmly, "U-um…..Drew?"

"Yeah?" he looked at her curiously, still stoic about her sudden change in behavior.

"I-I know this may sound a little forward and out of the blue but…...can you stay with me tonight?"

His eyes widened, "L-like spend the night? Really? I mean your parents-"

She shook her head, "My parents are on a trip to Johto, It's been pretty lonely here since Max dorms at his school, I know this is so sudden to be asking especially considering what's happened with us…...but I just…..really don't want to be apart from you."

Without another thought he pulled her into a kiss and tight embrace, "I'll stay here with you, don't worry".

*SNAP*

He leered at the couple from behind the trees, scoffing in disgust as he snapped a second shot of the scene that fueled his hatred.

(Three years ago)

She looked down at her hand, placing it over her stomach as she got sudden chills, "Drew…..why can't I stop thinking about you."

"Hey May!" he hid behind the wall, peeking over to see a couple of other campers approach the blue eyed girl.

He lurked from afar, staring curiously at the brunette and wondering why she was like that, "May, so that's your name."

"What's up guys?" she asked, now forming a smile, something which Brendan found surprising as he had seen her sad just seconds prior.

One of the girls had handed the brunette a microphone, "It's time to practice, remember we only have a few more days before the show opens."

She had forgotten about it, towards the end of summer the camp holds an annual bonfire showcase where all the campers put on performances for everyone to see. She grabbed the mic into her hands, strolling up onto the stage where the others followed.

"Let's get it down to perfection guys." she lowered her head as everyone settled themselves on stage.

He was there only audience, still hidden and still wondering why the brunette seemed so sad, even with a smile on her face he could tell she was faking it.

(She's so gone by Naomi Scott)

She bopped her head to the guitarist's beat, tapping her fingers against the mic as she threw her head up, a hurt look on her eyes at first.

Insecure

In her skin

Like a puppet, a girl on a string

Broke away

Learned to fly

If you want her back, gotta let her shine

So it looks like the joke's on you

'Cause the girl that you thought you knew

He quickly noticed the pain in her eyes disappear, a sudden magical transition happening before him. There was a fire in her instead, now fueling with the pain that she was using to be heard.

She's so gone

That's so over now

She's so gone

You won't find her around

You can look but you won't see

The girl I used to be

'Cause she's

She's so gone

She strolled up to the very edge of the stage, now facing the empty theater as she lightly tapped her chest with a fist. He was being drawn by every emotion and word she threw out, to him, it looked as if she was really touching an audience that wasn't there to begin with.

Here I am

This is me

And I'm stronger than you ever thought I'd be

Are you shocked?

Are you mad?

That you're missing out on who I really am

Now it looks like the joke's on you

'Cause the girl that you thought you knew

She took a few steps back, now shaking her head side to side wildly, running a hand through her locks as she jumped up and down in quick spins. Her band members behind also seemed in tune, all of them moving along with the intense music.

She's so gone

That's so over now

She's so gone

You won't find her around

You can look but you won't see

The girl I used to be

'Cause she's

She's so gone away

Like history

She's so gone

Baby, this is me, yeah

She ran towards the edge of the stage, jumping off as she sang to her heart's content while landing on top of one of the theater seats, a staggered Brendan unable to believe the sight. It was like an angel with wings falling from the sky in that moment, the sweet melody she let out into the air was intoxicating, so intoxicating that he was hooked.

She's so gone

That's so over now

She's so gone

You won't find her around

You can look but you won't see

The girl I used to be

'Cause she's

She's so gone

(That's so over now)

She's so gone

(You won't find her around)

She skipped across the first row of seats, now jumping back onstage as she became front and center once more. She went to her guitarist and banged heads with him, now skipping over and twirling around the drummer before finally strolling across her pianist and bassist, giving them each a wink and high five.

You can look but you won't see

The girl I used to be

'Cause she's

She's so gone

Her final moments on stage were led by her final strut, dropping to one knee as she curled over, voicing her strongest vocals with the purest feelings in her. She stood up, now staring blankly at the empty room, it was gone, she had no more to hold, the pain, the anger, the frustration. It all disappeared, and now standing before darkness was a new girl. She had dropped her mic, now turning her back to the room as she walked away, the curtains falling on cue.

So long

She's so gone, she's so gone... gone, gone, gone.

He was struck hard, he chased after the brunette, now storming through the curtains as he called for her.

"May!"

There was silence, there was nobody, the band was gone, she was gone.

(Hoenn)

"Take it from the top" said the green haired man, his team standing behind him as they all fawned over the cute girl behind the window. She brushed her freshly dyed blonde locks behind her ear, tapping her microphone lightly for a sound check.

"Sure thing uncle." she gave him a thumbs up.

He gave her a thumbs back up, "Whenever you're ready."

The music began as she started up, singing the next few words out, the beat was good, the lyrics were good, but the green haired man watched almost unimpressed, he paused the music, startling the blonde who looked at him curiously.

He smiled at her, speaking to her through the mic, "Sorry Briana, just some difficulties with the system, why don't we take a five."

She rolled her eyes, now taking a seat on her stool as she took out her phone, finding the whole situation too troublesome.

He spun around in his chair, sighing to his team in distress, "I don't know….I'm just not feeling it."

One of the men chuckled, staring at the blonde who was drinking her water while scrolling through her phone, "We had hit the jackpot with your wife's goddaughter, she was popular back then as a junior teen idol, but she's growing into an adult before our very eyes, do you think we need new talent?"

"She sure has, do you think it might be she needs a new music genre to focus on?" Another spoke out.

The leader of the bunch shook his head, "I don't know what we're missing, but Brianna has been our top star for years now, something has to change otherwise we'll fall back and lose our spot as the best amongst the music world."

"What do you suggest sir?" said a fourth man in the group.

He had a moment of silence, now turning his attention to the blonde, "I don't know, but maybe It's time I return home to Sinnoh, and take her along with me."

"W-what?" they were surprised by his suggestion.

"I have my recording studio at home, Brianna can live with me and her aunt in the meantime, hopefully a new change in environment will spark inspiration and give us what we're missing."

"We're going to Sinnoh?!" he was startled, unaware that he had pressed the button for the call monitor to turn on, she quickly shot up from her chair, eyes sparkling as she came to realize there was someone very special for her in Sinnoh.

Her uncle nodded, flashing her a smile "That's right, let's leave first thing tomorrow morning."

She looked down at her phone, sultrily staring at the photo she had in her album, it was a photo of her and Drew sharing a kiss, "I wonder…...if you still love me?"
