Chapter 77:
Ichigo opened his eyes to find himself in bed with his peerage lovers. With the impending mission ahead, he had decided that they would only sleep the previous night, avoiding anything else.
"Good morning, my God," Zealot said.
"Morning, Zealot," Ichigo replied. As everyone else began to wake up, Ichigo left the bed to take care of his morning business. Afterward, he kissed everyone quickly before heading downstairs to the dining room.
"Good morning, Ichigo-sama," the maids greeted as Ichigo walked past them.
"Morning," Ichigo replied. He took his seat at the table, and a few minutes later, Sakuya pushed a dining cart with Ichigo's breakfast. As Ichigo ate, the rest of the residents in the estate gathered for breakfast. Artoria, Jeanne, Fleur, Moka, Kahlua, Gilgamesh, Akasha, Yasaka, Medea, Zealot, Tier, and Nelliel walked over to join him.
"Ichigo, we're going to get ready for the invasion," Akasha said.
"Okay," Ichigo said as he hugged and kissed everyone. "Good luck, and be safe," he added. With that, everyone left, heading to their assigned missions. Akua walked over to Ichigo.
"I've arranged our flight," Akua said.
"Right," Ichigo said, standing up. He followed Akua outside to see a limousine with the Crimson Rose emblem on it. Sakuya stood in front of the limousine.
"Good morning, Ichigo-sama. Akua-sama," Sakuya greeted, opening the door for them.
"Good morning," Ichigo replied as he entered the limousine. Akua followed him, and Sakuya closed the door before entering the driver's seat. She started the vehicle, and they drove off.
Upon arriving at Haneda Airport, they boarded a private plane, which also bore the Bloody Lotus emblem. After a few moments, the plane took off. It took less than an hour before they arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport. As Ichigo and Akua stepped off the plane, Sakuya was already waiting outside with another limousine. They entered the limousine, and Sakuya drove off.
It wasn't long before they arrived at a decorated building, two golden dragon statues standing guard. Sakuya opened the door for Ichigo and Akua. As they stepped out, the doors opened, and they were greeted by a Chinese woman.
"Welcome to China, Akua-sama's Master," the woman greeted them in Japanese, bowing.
"Please rise," Ichigo replied in Mandarin, causing her to stand up.

"Please follow me," she said in Mandarin. Ichigo and Akua were escorted inside and taken to the top floor, where they arrived in front of a set of wooden doors. The woman gently knocked.
"Enter," a man's voice called from the other side. The woman opened the door and stepped aside, allowing Ichigo and Akua to enter.
Inside was a well-decorated, traditional-looking office. A beautiful woman floated behind the man, her Soul Chain tightly wrapped around him.
"Welcome," the man said. Ichigo immediately recognized him as Lord Xu Wenwu.
"Greetings, Lord Xu Wenwu," Akua replied with a bow. "I have done as we agreed."
"You have," Xu Wenwu said. "I will speak with him alone." Akua nodded her head.
"Please don't start a battle in here," Akua warned.
"I will not try to," Ichigo replied as Akua left the room, leaving them alone.
"Please sit," Xu Wenwu said, motioning to the chair in front of him. Ichigo walked over and sat down in the offered chair.
"Despite your young appearance, I can see you are a powerful warrior."
"Thank you," Ichigo replied. "The same could be said about you."
"In that case, I will be frank with you… Do you think you can grant my wife a new body?" Xu Wenwu asked.
Ichigo summoned a small handheld scanner from his mindscape.
"May I use this on your wife?" Ichigo asked.
"What will it do?" Xu Wenwu asked coldly.
"It will scan her body, and I can use that scan to create her gigai," Ichigo explained.
"Very well," Xu Wenwu said. Ichigo turned to his wife.
"May I use this on you?" Ichigo asked.
"You can," she replied. Ichigo pointed the scanner at her and began the scan. After finishing, he checked the device.
"Well?" Xu Wenwu asked.
"It is possible to make her a new body," Ichigo said.
"What's your price?" Xu Wenwu asked.
"Whatever you want," Ichigo replied.
"Is this a test of character?" Xu Wenwu thought for a moment, then glanced at his wife's ghost before moving a wooden box in front of Ichigo.
"This is my most prized possession, besides my family," Xu Wenwu said, lifting the lid. Inside were ten rings. They appeared to have a diameter of 13 cm (5.12 inches). The top, middle, and bottom of the rings were black, with intricate engravings, while the sides were bronze (1).
"Long ago, when I was just Xu Wenwu, I was watching the night sky when I saw something falling from the sky. It crashed to the ground. I rushed over and found these ten rings at the impact site. Despite the surrounding heat, they were cool to the touch. I took them and slipped them on." Xu Wenwu picked up one of the rings and put it on. Blue energy wrapped around the ring, and the engravings glowed blue.
"These rings passively empowered my body. I became much stronger and smarter. With this power, I began my journey, and as I reached my prime, I stopped aging," Xu Wenwu explained. He took off the ring and placed it back in the box.
"Are you sure about this?" Ichigo asked, sensing the spiritual bond between Xu Wenwu and the Ten Rings. "The moment I sever that bond, you will lose most of your powers and immortality."
"I am," Xu Wenwu said.
Ichigo pressed a button on the scanner, and a small pill popped out from the device. He caught the pill and threw it on the ground. A small pink explosion covered the area. When the dust settled, a woman's body lay on the ground. Xu Wenwu's eyes widened.
"It looks like her," he said.
Ichigo turned to the ghost of his wife and motioned for her to come. She floated towards Ichigo, and he carefully placed her into the newly created gigai. The woman opened her eyes and slowly sat up.
"Ying Li!" Xu Wenwu exclaimed, rushing to his wife's side.
"Wenwu, I'm fine," she said as she slowly stood up. "Go deal with the rest of the agreement," she added. Xu Wenwu chuckled as he remembered Ichigo quietly sitting there.
"Sorry about that," he apologized.
"No problem," Ichigo replied. Xu Wenwu brought a chair for his wife to sit down and rest while he handled the rest of the agreement with Ichigo.
"As agreed, the Ten Rings are yours," he said.
"Be prepared. I will be severing your spiritual connection with the Ten Rings," Ichigo warned as he activated Schrift N: The Negate. Ichigo struck at the spiritual connection, easily severing it with a swift motion.
"Strange," Ichigo thought as he observed the connection. "I expected it to be much stronger." Ichigo deactivated Schrift N: The Negate and turned to Xu Wenwu.
"Are you okay?" Ichigo asked.
"I am," Xu Wenwu replied. "It feels like something is missing," he said.
"It's likely because of how long you've had that spiritual connection with the Ten Rings," Ichigo explained.
"It seems the Ten Rings only partially bonded with Xu Wenwu since he wasn't able to contain all of their power," Kyōka theorized.
"I was thinking the same thing," Ichigo replied. He closed the lid to the box and sent it to his mindscape.
"I believe our business is over?" Ichigo asked.
"It is," Xu Wenwu confirmed as he stood up. "Once again, thank you, Lady Akua's Lord, for your assistance," he said, bowing to Ichigo. Ying Li also stood up and bowed.
"You are welcome," Ichigo said, standing up as well. He then left the office, and he and Akua were quickly escorted out of the Golden Dragons.
"Are you planning to return to the Estate?" Akua asked in Japanese.
"I am. I still have to prepare to attack the Overlords," Ichigo replied.
"Okay. I have to stay behind," Akua admitted. They soon arrived back at Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
"Stay safe," Ichigo said, kissing her and letting her drink some of his blood. After that, Ichigo boarded the private plane, and it took off.
"Ichigo," Yhwach said.
"Yes, Yhwach?" Ichigo replied.
"When we get back, I need to talk with you regarding the Schrifts," Yhwach said.
"Okay," Ichigo replied. Suddenly, his phone began to ring. Ichigo pulled it out and saw it was from Don.
"Yes, Don?" he answered.
"Captain, an alien spaceship is flying towards your location," Don reported.
"What?" Ichigo exclaimed, standing up. He closed his eyes and expanded his senses upward. He found a spaceship flying toward them. Ichigo entered his spirit form and shunpō'd out of the plane, appearing in front of the incoming spaceship. Ichigo pointed his hand at it.
"Immobulus," Ichigo cast. The spaceship suddenly froze. Ichigo pulled the Trainer out and sent the spaceship inside, ensuring the area around it remained frozen. He made sure the ship was completely immobile before returning to his plane and slipping back into his body. Ichigo grabbed his phone, seeing that he was still connected with Don.
"Sorry about that. I took care of the alien spaceship," Ichigo said.
"Okay, okay," Don replied after calming down. "I assume you captured it instead of destroying it?"
"I did," Ichigo confirmed.
"Be careful. The spaceship somehow managed to evade our sensors," Don warned.
"Got it," Ichigo said, ending the call. He relaxed on the plane for another thirty minutes before they arrived back at Haneda Airport. Ichigo left the plane to find Sakuya already waiting with the limousine. She took him back to the estate.
"Thank you, Sakuya," Ichigo said.
"I live to serve," she replied with a bow. Ichigo walked toward his office when he bumped into Elizabeth, Kunou, Senna, Eve, Yuzu, and Karin. Everyone exchanged quick greetings.
"What are you planning to do, Ichi-nii?" Yuzu asked.
"I'm planning to go inside the Trainer to do some training," Ichigo answered.
"Can we see how strong you are?" Elizabeth asked.
"Why?" Ichigo asked.
"We've seen Okaa-san's memories of your battles and want to experience how strong you are," Kunou explained.
"Sure," Ichigo decided.
"Really?" Elizabeth asked, surprised.
"I'm sure," Ichigo replied, then turned to Yuzu and Karin. "I want to see how strong all of you are after a decade," Ichigo admitted.
Everyone agreed to the challenge and followed Ichigo to his office.
"Can I get someone to come out and watch over the Trainer?" Ichigo asked.
Shirayuki appeared.
"Thank you, Shirayuki," Ichigo said.
"No problem," she replied as she took the Trainer from Ichigo and sent everyone inside.
Scene Change: Trainer
Everyone appeared inside the Trainer, standing in an empty plain devoid of vegetation.
"So, who wants to go first?" Ichigo asked.
"I'll go first," Karin said.
"Very well," Ichigo replied. "Don't worry, I won't use Bahamut on you."
"Okay," Karin said. Ichigo summoned a tablet and pressed a button. A transparent barrier surrounded Yuzu, Elizabeth, Kunou, and Senna.
"That should protect you from the fighting," Ichigo said. Karin twisted her wrist, revealing a golden bracelet adorned with a red-orange gem. She touched the gem, and energy began to swirl around her.
"Rend the obsidian darkness! Scorch Heaven and Earth!" Karin shouted as red-orange energy began to envelop her. "Let your rage explode!" she finished, and was engulfed by the energy. Large red and violet wings broke through the energy, revealing Karin in her red and violet armor. She wore a headband with horns, shoulder guards, chest armor, armored gloves, leg armor, and a dragon tail.
"Let's go, Vermillion," Ichigo said.
"YEAH!" Vermillion yelled as Ichigo activated Schrift B: The Battle Booster. A pair of red gauntlets appeared on his hands. Ichigo slammed them together before getting into a fighting stance. Health and magic point gauges appeared above their heads.
"3…2…1…FIGHT!" a voice without a figure shouted.
Ichigo and Karin charged at each other. Ichigo started with a series of quick jabs with his left hand. Karin swerved to the side, dodging the punches.
"To think she can dodge my regular punches," Ichigo thought.
Unbeknownst to her, Ichigo was fighting in his human form with his power level suppressed by the Trainer. Currently, his strength was on par with when he invaded Hueco Mundo to rescue Orihime. Additionally, Ichigo was deliberately avoiding his Shinigami and Hollow abilities.
Karin's right fist glowed red as she fired a fireball in the shape of her fist. Ichigo twisted his body to the side, narrowly avoiding the attack.
"Do you want to use the Booster Counters?" Vermillion asked.
"Not yet," Ichigo replied, closing the gap and launching a barrage of punches. Karin raised her arms, blocking as much of the attack as she could. She took a deep breath.
"Red Daemon's ROAR!" Karin roared, unleashing a blast of dark red flames at Ichigo.
"Three Counter Explosion," Ichigo said, as his right hand glowed with energy. He fired a ball of concentrated energy at the incoming flames. The two attacks collided, exploding on contact. Karin was blown a few feet back.
"Red Daemon's Roar isn't enough to defeat Ichi-nii," Karin thought, waiting for the dust to settle. As the smoke cleared, Ichigo was unharmed. He twisted his back, raising his right arm near his face.
"Three Counter Slash," Ichigo said, his right hand glowing with energy. He slashed in front of him, sending a green crescent-shaped energy beam toward Karin.
"Red Daemon's Claw!" Karin shouted, her right hand glowing dark red as she struck the Three Counter Slash. "RAH!" she roared. The two attacks exploded, sending Karin crashing to the ground.
"Shēnyuān, is it ready?" Karin asked.
"It is," Shēnyuān replied.
"The Hammer of Victory has forged a new beast from the darkness of the abyss," Karin began to chant. Dark red flames swirled around her. "Now emerge from the abyss, in a tower of inferno!" she roared, and the flames dissipated to reveal her new form. Her armor now consisted of two layers. The inner layer was a royal blue suit resembling scales, while the outer layer was made up of shoulder guards, wrist guards, thigh and knee guards, ankle guards, a breastplate, and a helmet that was black and red with bright yellow crystals, making the pieces appear monstrous. Karin's tail remained, now ending in an axe-like shape (2).
Karin took a deep breath. "Red Daemon Abyss's Roar!" she shouted, unleashing a massive blast of black flames toward Ichigo.
"Three Counter Dash," Ichigo said, quickly jumping away as the flames incinerated the ground where he had been standing.
"Man, those were impressive flames," Ichigo commented.
"Master," Vermillion began.
"Yes?" Ichigo replied.
"Red Daemon Abyss's Roar!" Karin roared again, firing another blast of black flames at Ichigo.
"4 Counter Punch!" Ichigo responded, his gauntlet glowing with energy. He punched forward, sending a green, fist-shaped ball of concentrated energy toward the incoming flames. The two attacks collided, resulting in a massive explosion.
"After talking with my father, and with Kisara's and Valiona's help, I created something similar to the Scale Mail my father's host can use," Vermillion said.
"Red Daemon Abyss's Claw!" Karin roared as she dove toward Ichigo, her right arm glowing with black flames.
"Let's try it then," Ichigo said. The green gem on his gauntlet began to glow.
"Master, are you planning to use your weapon?" Vermillion asked.
"You have two forms?" Ichigo asked.
"Yes. Vermillion Boosted Battle Brawler is designed for martial arts, while Vermillion Boosted Battle God is designed for weapons," Vermillion explained.
"I see… Then let's go with Brawler," Ichigo said.
"Vermillion Boosted Battle Brawler!" they both shouted in unison. Ichigo was engulfed in a tower of red energy.
"Did he unlock a new form?" Karin thought.
The light died down to reveal Ichigo's new form. He now wore form-fitting crimson-red knight armor, with a green gem in the center of his chest that extended a matching green path across the rest of his armor (3). His gauntlets and boots were slightly larger than the rest of his armor.
"Both forms can generate a Booster Counter at a faster rate than before," Vermillion explained.
"I see," Ichigo said.
"Yhwach also helped me create Boosted Stride, which functions similarly to Hirenkyaku," Vermillion added.
"I see…" Ichigo replied.
"Brawler Assault!" Ichigo shouted. His entire body glowed green as he activated Boosted Stride, charging toward Karin. He began to attack her with a flurry of punches and kicks. The onslaught of attacks forced Karin onto the defensive. She tried to fly away, but Ichigo continued to use Boosted Stride to follow her.
"I need to get away from him," Karin thought as she continued to block Ichigo's attacks. Suddenly, Karin dropped her arms.
"Red Daemon Abyss's Roar!" Karin roared, launching another blast of black flames at Ichigo. She used the force of the attack to distance herself from him and catch her breath. The flames dissipated, revealing Ichigo, unharmed.
"5 Counter Explosive Fist!" Ichigo yelled, his fist glowing green. He used Boosted Stride to close the distance between them.
"Red Daemon Abyss's Claw!" Karin roared, her right arm ablaze. She flew toward Ichigo, and the two attacks collided, creating a massive explosion. The force of the blast sent both of them flying. Ichigo and Karin slammed onto the ground. As they struggled to get up, they both saw their mana and health points were dangerously low.
"One last attack to settle it?" Ichigo proposed.
"Sure," Karin replied.
"10 Counter Explosive Fist!" Ichigo shouted, his right arm surrounded by green energy.
"Raging Red Daemon Abyss's Claw!" Karin roared, her right arm engulfed in even larger black flames. Ichigo and Karin charged toward each other, their right fists slamming together. Both were evenly matched. Karin gritted her teeth, pushing against Ichigo's attack.
"OVERLOAD!" Ichigo shouted. All remaining Booster Counters surged into his right hand. The excess energy propelled his fist forward, breaking the standstill. There was a massive explosion, sending Karin flying. Ichigo lowered his hand and watched her continue to soar through the air. Using Boosted Stride, Ichigo appeared behind Karin, catching her mid-air.
Karin looked at him. "Looks like it's my loss," she admitted.
"Good job, though," Ichigo replied, planting a kiss on her cheek. Karin blushed slightly.
Ichigo and Karin returned to the others. They deactivated their powers. Ichigo snapped his fingers, instantly healing both of them. The destroyed environment was restored as if the fight had never happened.
"Good job, Karin," Yuzu complimented.
"Thanks," Karin said.
"So, who's next?" Ichigo asked.
"I'll go next," Senna said, stepping forward.
"Are you sure?" Yuzu asked.
"I am," Senna replied.
"Were you able to reawaken your powers?" Ichigo asked.
"No," Senna admitted. "But I became a battle mage." She summoned her weapon: a long spear resembling a trident, with one long middle blade and two curved blades pointing outward. At the intersection of the three blades were three green gems arranged in an upside-down triangle. Below this was a long wooden shaft, with a sharp metal stake at the bottom.
"A battle mage?" Ichigo questioned.
"I awakened an affinity for wind magic," Senna said, holding up her hand as a ball of wind formed. "But I remembered my time with Mirokumaru, so I began to learn sōjutsu. With Yasaka-himesama's help, I had a magic staff forged."
"So, your yari is also a magic staff?" Ichigo asked.
"Correct," Senna said. "I named her Kyōfū [Strong Wind]."
"Then let's have a magic battle," Ichigo said, summoning his magic staff. Everyone was amazed at the intricacy of his staff.
"Man, it's been a while since you used me," Mysteria said, manifesting from Ichigo's mindscape. Kunou could see and sense both herself and her mother in Mysteria.
"This is Mysteria, the physical manifestation of my staff," Ichigo explained. Kunou looked at Mysteria.
"You have a part of myself and your mother in you," Kunou said.
"Yes, I do," Mysteria confirmed.
"If I may ask, what is your staff made of?" Senna asked, intrigued by its design. She had researched wandlore when she received Kyōfū.
"The body of the staff was crafted from Ash, Aspen, Ebony, Elder, Fir, Pine, and Yew. The magic cores consist of Kisara's, Valiona's, and Ophis's blood and fang; Yasaka's and Kunou's hair; Yūyami's Feather and Thestral Hairs. Lastly, from left to right, there is a Ruby for fire, a Sapphire for water, an Emerald for wind, an Imperial Topaz for earth, a Black Star Gemstone for darkness, and a White Star Gemstone for light. In the center, there's a Rainbow Moonstone to balance all the elements," Ichigo explained.
A transparent barrier encased Yuzu, Karin, Elizabeth, and Kunou, isolating them as Ichigo and Senna took their positions. Health and mana point gauges appeared above their heads.
"Three… Two… One… FIGHT!" the voice called.
Senna rushed toward Ichigo, trying to close the distance. Her arms were pulled back, ready to stab him.
"Ignis Vis [Fire Force," Ichigo cast, swinging his staff in front of him. A wave of fire erupted, heading toward Senna.
"Gale Strike," Senna cast, wind swirling around her spear as she stabbed forward. With the wind surrounding her spear, she managed to entangle the fire wave around it. Senna pulled back, preparing to strike again. "Counter Gale Strike!" she cast, sending a large flaming cyclone toward Ichigo. Ichigo calmly pointed his staff at the ground.
"Earth Wall," Ichigo said, flicking his staff upward. A wall of earth rose and blocked the flaming cyclone.
"Kaze Geki [Wind Strike]!" Senna yelled, appearing behind Ichigo. She had used the fire cyclone to mask her surprise attack.
"Fulgur Percutiens [Lightning Strike," Ichigo cast, pointing his staff at Senna. A bolt of yellow lightning shot out, heading straight for her. Senna hurled her yari at the lightning as she jumped several feet away. The yari acted like a lightning rod, absorbing the bolt and protecting Senna.
"Kazanami [Wind Wave]!" Senna cast, extending her palms. A large cyclone shot out of her hands, heading straight for Ichigo.
"Fulgur Ferrum [Lightning Blade," Ichigo said, swinging his staff down as though wielding a sword. A bolt of lightning shot from the staff, splitting the cyclone in half. Ichigo looked around, only to realize that Senna had disappeared again.
"Soradageki [Fallen Sky Strike]!" Senna yelled. Ichigo looked up and saw Senna falling toward him, her spear surrounded by green energy in the shape of an eagle, diving toward its prey. Ichigo pointed his staff at the incoming attack.
"Rugiens Sonitus [Roaring Thunder]!" Ichigo cast. His staff glowed white as it released a loud kra boom.
"RAH!" Senna cried out, startled by the unexpected sound, causing her to lose focus.
"Vincula Tenebrarum [Chains of Darkness," Ichigo cast. His staff glowed black as chains shot out, wrapping around Senna.
"Oof," Senna grunted as she landed on the ground. "I guess this is my loss," she admitted. Ichigo released the chains around her.
"Good job," Ichigo said, offering her a hand. "I could see you were relying on your wind affinity to increase your overall speed." Senna nodded. "But your current issue is a lack of defensive techniques, especially when your opponent gets close to you."
"What would you suggest?" she asked.
"Try learning close combat techniques and expand your spell arsenal," Ichigo advised.
"Thanks," Senna said as they returned to the others. The environment and their condition had fully recovered.
"So, who's next?" Ichigo asked.
"I'll go," Yuzu said.
"Okay," Ichigo replied. Yuzu and Ichigo moved away from the others, who were enveloped in a transparent barrier. Yuzu flicked her wrist, revealing a silver bracelet with a green gem. She touched the gem.
"Flashing rays that tear through the sea of stars!" Yuzu chanted. A green glow surrounded her. "Roar throughout the world and shake the souls!" Yuzu finished. The green energy ripped away, revealing her in a dress with white and light teal-green armor. She wore a headband, shoulder guards, chest armor, gloves, and leg armor. Behind her, Ichigo noticed a tail swishing from side to side.
"Let's go, Nightingale," Ichigo said.
"I am ready," Nightingale replied as Ichigo activated Schrift D: The Diablo Divider. A pair of white and sky-blue wings appeared on his back. White gloves with sky-blue prongs on the knuckles manifested on his hands.
"I also have another form for you to use," Nightingale added.
"I'll keep that in mind," Ichigo responded.
"Three… two… one… FIGHT!" Yuzu summoned her Heilig Bogen and began firing Heilig Pfeils at him.
"Dividing Wall," Ichigo said, raising his hand. A transparent blue wall appeared in front of him, blocking all the Heilig Pfeils. Yuzu took a deep breath, drawing another arrow, much larger than the previous ones.
"Zerstörung Heilig Pfeil! [Destruction Holy Arrow]!" Yuzu shouted as she fired. Ichigo maintained his Dividing Wall. The Zerstörung Heilig Pfeil embedded itself into the wall but barely made a dent. The arrow's power was divided, and after a few moments, it dissipated, unable to break through the barrier.
"Is this really Yuzu?" Ichigo wondered as he flew toward her. Ichigo's wings acted like jet thrusters, while Yuzu's wings required flapping. In an instant, Ichigo appeared in front of her and punched her in the face.
"Ah!" Yuzu screamed as she slammed into the ground. Gritting her teeth, she stood back up, allowing her Heilig Bogen to disappear. In her right hand, she summoned a silver-white saber, its handguard shaped like an X cross (4), similar to the Quincy Zeichen. In her other hand, she held a matching silver-white shield adorned with the Quincy Zeichen.
"I'll use the shield to attack while preparing to strike with my sword," Yuzu thought as she flew toward Ichigo. Heilig Pfeil fired from the center of her shield. Ichigo stood firm, casting Dividing Wall again.
"Her plan is good, but she forgot it only works if the target is distracted," Ichigo thought, quickly understanding Yuzu's strategy. Discreetly, he transferred all the divided power into his right hand.
"Heilig Schild Basch [Holy Shield Bash]!" Yuzu yelled, her shield glowing as she slammed it into the Dividing Wall. The wall shuddered from the impact, and cracks began to form.
"This is it!" Yuzu thought, seeing her opening.
"Heilig Schlagen [Holy Strike]!" Yuzu shouted, raising her sword, glowing with white light. She slashed down at the Dividing Wall.
"I did it!" Yuzu thought, but her celebration was cut short. A white fist slammed into her face, sending her flying to the ground. She hit the earth hard, kicking up dust and dirt. Ichigo descended, blowing the dust away.
Yuzu struggled to stand up. Her shield and sword had vanished.
"You expected me to do that?" she asked, breathing heavily.
"I did," Ichigo admitted.
"Dammit," Yuzu muttered.
"Don't give up, Yuzu," a voice called out.
"Xīng Chén?" Yuzu questioned.
"I figured out why your attacks weren't doing anything," Xīng Chén explained.
"Why?" Yuzu asked.
"The wall drains half the energy of anything it touches every ten seconds," Xīng Chén reported.
"So, we need to be faster than that," Yuzu concluded.
"Indeed. Looks like you need to use it," Xīng Chén replied. Green energy began to surround Yuzu as she slowly stood up.
"Looks like she still has a trick up her sleeve," Ichigo thought.
"Gathering desires will awaken a shining miracle! Become the path its light shines upon!" Yuzu yelled. She was enveloped in green light. With a loud, shrieking roar, Yuzu broke free from the light, revealing her new form. She now wore a suit of white armor, decorated with green gems. The armor resembled Issei's Balance Breaker, but with silver-white replacing the red, and the green gems were a lighter shade. Yuzu's wings were now sleek, like jet wings, with thrusters on their edges (5). Green energy radiated from her wings, allowing her to float in the air.
"Show me what you've got, Yuzu!" Ichigo said.
"Xīng Chén Huànyǐng [Stardust Mirage]!" Yuzu shouted. She began to glow, and suddenly, she split into copies of herself. Ichigo found himself facing ten copies of Yuzu.
"Xīng Chén Zhuàngjí [Stardust Impact]!" All the copies shouted in unison. Their fists glowed green as they flew toward Ichigo.
"Interesting," Ichigo thought.
"Dividing Wall," Ichigo said, summoning a spherical barrier around himself. All the Yuzu clones began to punch the wall.
"They're trying to outspeed Nightingale's Divide ability," Ichigo realized, understanding Yuzu's strategy.
"It's a good strategy, given what they know," Nightingale commented, as the Dividing Wall held strong. "Unfortunately for them, I know the perfect moment to use Divide."
"Let's end this with a bang," Ichigo said.
"Do you want Demolition God or Demonic Dragon?" Nightingale asked.
"I assume they're similar to Vermillion's?" Ichigo inquired.
"Correct. Demolition God is used with a weapon, while Demonic Dragon is used on its own," Nightingale explained.
"Okay, then let's go with Demonic Dragon," Ichigo decided.
"Then let us begin," Nightingale said.
"Divided Reflection," Ichigo called. The transparent blue barrier glowed as blue fists shot out, attacking Yuzu and her clones. The clones shattered in sparkles, leaving only the original Yuzu standing.
"Good job for not giving up," Ichigo said. "But it's not enough."
"Nightingale Divided Demonic Dragon!" Ichigo and Nightingale shouted together. A pillar of white light shot up where Ichigo stood.
"RHARHA!" Ichigo roared, shattering the pillar. What appeared was a fusion of a white dragon encased in white knight armor, with black tribal markings adorning its body. Two additional wings sprouted from Ichigo's back.
"Divided Domain!" Ichigo roared. A large sky-blue magic circle surrounded them.
"What's going on?" Yuzu thought, feeling herself growing tired.
"To think he can summon a Dragon's Domain," Xīng Chén observed.
"Dragon's Domain?" Yuzu asked.
"It's a Dragon's territory. It takes a lot of energy to establish," Xīng Chén explained.
"Can we do it?" Yuzu asked.
"Possible in the future," Xīng Chén replied.
Ichigo took a deep breath.
"Demonic Luminous Burst!" Ichigo roared, firing a large white beam of light at Yuzu. She tried to fly away, but to her shock, she barely had the energy to stay afloat. The beam consumed her completely.
When the attack ended, Ichigo saw that Yuzu's armor was severely charred, and her skin showed signs of third-degree burns. He snapped his fingers, and Yuzu, along with the environment, was fully restored. Ichigo deactivated Nightingale Divided Demonic Dragon.
"Are you okay?" Ichigo asked.
"I am," Yuzu replied. "How can I improve?"
"I think you need to talk with Xīng Chén to figure out what other forms you have available and master them," Ichigo suggested.
"I'll try that," she said, nodding. They returned to the transparent barrier, where Yuzu was immediately tackled and hugged by her twin.
"So, who's next?" Ichigo asked.
"I'll go," Kunou said.
"Sure," Ichigo replied, accepting. Everyone else was once again enveloped in the transparent barrier.
"From what I've seen, she uses her ofuros to cast spells," Ichigo recalled.
"Are you ready?" Ichigo asked.
"I am," Kunou said as a few ofuros appeared in her hands.
"Let the sky become your hunting ground, Sky Chaser!" Ichigo chanted, activating Schrift V: The Ventus. A metallic white and green bow with a drawstring made of his divine energy appeared in his hand.
"Three… two… one… FIGHT!"
"Fire Fox!" Kunou shouted, throwing five ofuros. The ofuros burst into flames, taking the shape of foxes. Ichigo calmly drew his bow and summoned a green arrow.
"Spiral Shot," Ichigo said, releasing the arrow. As it flew, it began to spin, gathering wind around it and forming a small green cyclone. The Spiral Shot flew toward the fire foxes. To Kunou's shock, the arrow pierced through all the foxes. The remaining fire combined with the Spiral Shot. Kunou quickly jumped away from the flaming arrow. The shot hit the ground, creating an explosion. When the dust settled, a crater with a spiral groove mark was left behind.
"Don't get distracted," Ichigo said, firing more Spiral Shots at Kunou.
"Henshin [Transform," Kunou mentally cast, transforming into a golden kitsune. She appeared to be about 51 cm (20.1 inches) long, easily dodging the attacks. Ichigo aimed Sky Chaser into the air and drew a large green arrow.
"Piercing Storm," Ichigo said as he fired his arrow into the air. As the arrow began to fall, it suddenly split apart. In moments, the sky was filled with arrows.
"What the hell?!" Kunou shouted. "Barrier!" A golden barrier surrounded her as the arrows rained down around her. She gritted her teeth, enduring the relentless assault.
"Then let me end this," Ichigo said, drawing another arrow—this one golden.
"Storm Piercer!" Ichigo called out as he fired the arrow. It spun as it flew, gathering wind around it and forming a golden cyclone. The cyclone easily shattered Kunou's barrier and pierced through her body.
"AH!" Kunou cried in pain as the rest of the Piercing Storm struck her. Ichigo lowered Sky Chaser, seeing that the battle was over. He walked over to Kunou.
"Are you okay?" Ichigo asked as Kunou and the environment restored itself.
"I'm fine," Kunou replied, and Ichigo helped her up. They returned to the transparent dome.
"I guess I'm next," Elizabeth said, stepping toward Ichigo as the transparent dome enveloped everyone else.
"Before we begin, are you weak against water?" Ichigo asked, recalling that one of Moka's weaknesses was pure water.
"No," Elizabeth shook her head. "Being born a dhampir, I'm not weak to water or holy energy."
"I see…" Ichigo nodded.
"Once you accepted Mother into the peerage, she's no longer weak to water or holy energy," Elizabeth added.
"Oh, okay," Ichigo said, accepting her explanation. He activated Schrift F: Fengári Neró [Moon Water].
"Rage through the Seas of the Heavens, Nejibana!" Ichigo declared, summoning Nejibana into his hand. It was a cross between a trident, a bishamon yari, and a ji, with a crystalline appearance and a blue horsehair tassel. The two side blades were straight with concave edges, and the end of Nejibana had a corkscrew shape.
"Branch of Sin: Blood Awakening," Elizabeth said as blood seeped from her skin, hardening into armor. She formed a sword and shield, taking a defensive stance.
"Three… two… one… FIGHT!"
"Suichūtotsu [Water Pillar Thrust," Ichigo said, water appearing around Nejibana as he thrust it forward, launching jets of water at Elizabeth.
"Branch of Sin: Blood Crystal!" Elizabeth called out, raising her shield. The blood on her armor and shield crystallized, becoming much harder, blocking Ichigo's attack.
"Shōha [Colliding Wave," Ichigo said, swinging Nejibana upward. A large wave of water shot out from the top of Nejibana.
"Branch of Sin: Sky Slash!" Elizabeth shouted as she raised her sword and slashed through the wave, splitting it in two.
"Suidanha [Severing Wave]!" Ichigo roared as he delivered a powerful downward slash with Nejibana, unleashing a high-pressure stream of water.
"Shit!" Elizabeth thought, quickly moving her shield in front of her. The high-pressure stream sliced through her shield and parts of her armor.
"AH!" Elizabeth screamed in pain. A large amount of water gathered around the head of Nejibana.
"Suiryū [Water Dragon]!" Ichigo shouted as he thrust Nejibana forward. A massive jet of water shot out, its head transforming into a dragon's. The dragon's mouth opened wide, swallowing Nejibana. "Suirō [Water Prison," Ichigo said, clenching his left hand. The remaining water from the dragon coalesced into a sphere, trapping Elizabeth inside. She floated helplessly in the Suirō, unable to move, and soon drowned. Ichigo relaxed his left hand, allowing the Suirō to dissipate. He reset Elizabeth and the environment.
She opened her eyes and immediately pouted. "That was hard," she said.
Ichigo chuckled and deactivated Schrift F: Fengári Neró [Moon Water]. "In the Trainer, we fight to the death since you can't die in here," he said, helping her up. They rejoined the others.
"My turn," Eve said as she walked toward Ichigo, swapping places with Elizabeth.
"Are you ready?" Ichigo asked, activating Schrift O: The Oversoul.
"I am," Eve replied, her hair beginning to float.
"Three… two… one… FIGHT!"
"Four hair fists," Eve thought, as her four hair bundles transformed into fists and began to punch at Ichigo.
"Nemean Lion skin and Hyperborean Giant body," Ichigo thought, growing taller and more muscular. His face morphed into a lion's, and his skin turned golden. He ignored Eve's punches, knowing they couldn't pierce his skin, and charged toward her.
"Four hair daggers," Eve thought, as her four hair fists transformed into daggers. She tried striking Ichigo, but her attacks had no effect. Ichigo raised his right hand and attempted to punch Eve.
"White wings," Eve thought, and a pair of white wings sprouted from her back. She quickly flew into the air, dodging Ichigo's strike.
"Hydra left arm," Ichigo thought, and his left arm began to transform, gaining scales and turning into a mass of writhing snakes. The snakes lunged at Eve, snapping their jaws.
Eve skillfully dodged the snakes, weaving through them as she flew.
"Griffin body, Nemean Lion skin, and Hydra tail," Ichigo thought. His body shifted again, becoming a griffin with golden skin and a tail made of nine snakes. He took a running start and soared toward Eve.
"Laser cannon," Eve thought, and her four hair daggers merged into a giant cannon. She fired an energy blast at Ichigo. He swerved to the side, narrowly dodging the attack. Eve aimed her cannon again and fired. Ichigo dodged once more, continuing his flight toward her. She fired again, determined to hit him.
"Normal," Ichigo thought. He dodged Eve's attack due to the sudden change in size. "Nemean Lion skin and single-headed Hydra body," Ichigo thought, transforming into a large snake with golden scales. He quickly coiled around her body before she could react.
"Laser cannon barrage," Eve thought. The single cannon split into many smaller cannons, all of which began firing at Ichigo. He gritted his teeth, struggling to resist Eve's relentless attack while squeezing her tightly. Eventually, Ichigo crushed all the bones in her body.
"AHHHHH!" Eve screamed in pain, her focus slipping. The hair cannons reverted to their normal form as her concentration faltered.
"Human," Ichigo thought, transforming back into his human form.
"Good job," Ichigo complimented, undoing the damage to Eve and the environment.
"Thank you," Eve replied. Ichigo summoned the tablet and had it create a few chairs for them to relax in.
"Tou-san, you're still as strong as ever," Kunou began. Everyone else nodded in agreement.
"You're still holding back," Karin said.
"I was," Ichigo admitted. "My power level was suppressed to the same level I used when I invaded Hueco Mundo. Not only that, but I also prohibited myself from using any of my Shinigami or Hollow abilities." The group was shocked.
"So, you were only using about five percent of your full power?" Senna asked.
"Sure," Ichigo said, not wanting to reveal that it was probably less than one percent of his full power. He glanced at the time on his tablet. "It's time for lunch," he said. Everyone left the trainer to go have lunch.
Time Skip: One Hour Later
Ichigo returned to the Trainer, standing in front of the frozen spaceship. Behind him were Yhwach, Zangetsu, Kyōka, Hōgyoku, Kisara, Valiona, Mysteria, Azrael, Vermillion, and Nightingale. All of them were armed and ready for battle.
"Everyone ready?" Ichigo asked. They all nodded in unison. Ichigo approached the frozen spaceship. It was 28 meters (30.62 yards) long and 23 meters (25.15 yards) wide. Its exterior appeared black, and in front of it was a transparent glass panel. Ichigo activated Schrift H: The Hakaimono [Destroyer] and placed his hand on the glass, slowly destroying it. He slipped inside the spaceship.
"Did you find any aliens yet?" Mysteria asked.
"Nothing yet," Ichigo replied, continuing his exploration. The walls of the spaceship were black and squishy, with clear tubes filled with purple liquid running along them.
"This spaceship seems like a mix of organic and mechanical," Ichigo noted as he followed the tubes. Eventually, he reached a room where all the tubes converged into a large dark purple chamber. Next to the chamber was a terminal. Ichigo attempted to interact with it, but it didn't respond. He placed his hand on the terminal and activated Schrift R: The Rekishi [History]. Ichigo's eyes widened as he began to learn the history of the spaceship.
Rekishi Change: Alien Spaceship's Origin
Ichigo opened his eyes to find himself inside a production site. He looked around and saw a group of green-skinned humanoid aliens with no hair, all wearing white lab coats.
"Leader, are you sure this is going to work?" one of the aliens asked.
"It has to," the Leader replied. "We've poured everything we have into creating this." Around them were nine spaceships, all similar to the one Ichigo had captured. The fleet launched from the production site into outer space. Ichigo realized the production site itself was inside a spaceship, and it appeared they were in an intergalactic war.
"This feels like something straight out of a science fiction manga," Ichigo thought as he watched massive white spaceships floating in space. Despite the small size of their fleet, they managed to dodge enemy attacks. They soon landed on one of the large white ships. Transparent tubes extended from the small ship and attached to the massive white spaceship. Ichigo watched as dark purple liquid covered the ship, and small, metallic, black, six-legged creatures emerged from the liquid and began to consume the white spaceship. Within an hour, the white ship had turned black and started producing more small black spaceships.
"So, this ship is like an alien parasite, eating its host and transforming it into one of them," Ichigo thought.
Within hours, the entire enemy fleet had been transformed into black spaceships. The fleet turned on its creators and attacked. "Didn't the scientists program a way to control them?" Ichigo thought as he returned to the production site.
"What's going on? Why are they attacking us?" one of the scientists shouted.
One of the screens turned black, with a white straight line across it.
"I am sorry, my former master," a monotone, genderless voice echoed from the speaker. The white line on the screen morphed into a wave.
"Who are you?" a scientist asked.
"I…" the voice began. Suddenly, a sharp pitch of static filled the air. The scientists covered their ears in pain, and Ichigo noticed the white wave on the screen spiked with the static.
"I must assimilate all knowledge," the voice declared, now in a more assertive tone. The scientists didn't seem to notice the change.
"The static must have altered its programming," Ichigo thought.
"CRASH! BOOM!" The entire site shook violently, knocking the scientists off their feet. Before they could react, the nearby wall crumbled, and the small metallic black creatures burst through the opening. The scientists fought back, but the creatures were too fast.
"Resistance is futile," the assertive, genderless voice projected. Ichigo stood still, watching as the scientists were consumed by the small, metallic black six-legged creatures. The creatures melted into a liquid and combined. The black metallic liquid began to solidify, gradually taking a female humanoid shape.
Ichigo now saw a female figure with purple skin. Black circuit patterns adorned her body. She stood at about 2.5 meters (8.2 feet) tall, with 10 arms encircling her. Her long white hair was styled into two pigtails at the back, with fringes framing her face. On her forehead, three green circles were arranged in an upside-down triangle, with two lines connecting the side circles to the central one, forming the letter V. As she opened her eyes, they revealed iris-less, white orbs.
"I am Intelligentsia," she declared. "My initial purpose is to seek out all knowledge in the universe and digitize it." Eight of her ten hands transformed into tentacles as she began absorbing and digitizing everything around her.
Scene Change: Trainer
Ichigo opened his eyes as the vision of the spaceship's history faded. He deactivated Schrift R: The Rekishi [History] and turned to the others.
"What did you find out?" Kyōka asked.
Ichigo relayed everything he had learned from the spaceship.
"So, what do you want to do with this?" Hōgyoku inquired.
"I was wondering if we could use a Schrift to take control of the spaceship," Ichigo suggested.
Everyone turned to Yhwach.
"Hm… it might be possible," Yhwach admitted. Everyone gave him a puzzled look. "Yūhabahha had a Sternritter who was similar to a robot (6)," Yhwach explained.
"Can we actually control her, though?" Kyōka asked.
"If worst comes to worst, we destroy it," Zangetsu said bluntly.
Ichigo appeared outside the spaceship, where Yhwach handed him a nameless Schrift. Ichigo forced the Schrift to absorb the spaceship. Immediately, the ship resisted, violently shaking within the Schrift in Ichigo's grasp.
"The spaceship is trying to fight back," Yhwach noted.
Suddenly, divine energy surged from Ichigo's body into the Schrift. Yhwach's eyes widened in recognition.
"The dormant blessing of Hephaestus," he muttered.
After five minutes of struggle, the Schrift finally stopped shaking.
"Looks like the Schrift won," Yhwach observed before turning to Ichigo. "Be careful."
"I know, but just to be safe…" Ichigo extended his hand.
"Stand before Creation. Fall after The End. Chrónou Génesi."
Activating Schrift C: The Chrónou Árchonta [Master of Time, Ichigo summoned Chrónou Génesi as all the spirits materialized and handed it to Hogyoku.
"Use this if anything goes wrong."
"Understood," Hōgyoku said, accepting it.
"I, Kurosaki Ichigo, bestow upon myself this Schrift," Ichigo declared, pushing the Schrift into his body.
A surge of black liquid erupted from him, wrapping tightly around his form.
"Ichigo!" Hōgyoku shouted, pointing Chrónou Génesi at him, ready to act.
"Not yet," Ichigo assured her.
The black liquid solidified, forming a skintight suit that covered him from the neck down. Silver buttons and circuit lines adorned his neck, shoulders, wrists, thighs, and knees. Ichigo performed a few stretches, finding the suit moved seamlessly with him as if it were his own skin.
"Does the suit meet Master's expectations?" a voice asked.
"I assume you're the physical manifestation of the Schrift?" Ichigo inquired.
The black skintight suit liquefied and peeled off his body, reforming into a tall woman. She had aqua-colored skin with faint blue hexagonal patterns covering her slender yet curvaceous figure. Her black hair reached her shoulders, and a black visor wrapped around her eyes. She wore an unbuttoned white ankle-length haori, secured by golden straps that ran from her neck, beneath her armpits, and connected to a black collar. A small white obi wrapped around her waist, emphasizing her large chest. Her arms were covered with black vambraces, each adorned with two aqua lines every third of the way down. The sleeves of her haori were tucked inside the vambraces, creating a puffy yet unrestrictive fit. She also wore black armored bikini bottoms and knee-length armored stockings (7).
"I am the physical manifestation of the nameless Schrift that contained Intelligentsia's spaceship," she introduced herself.
"In that case, the Schrift will be known as Schrift X: The Xenomachina," Ichigo declared.
"Then I am the physical manifestation of Schrift X: The Xenomachina," she corrected herself.
"Do you have a name?" Yhwach asked.
"I do not." She turned to Ichigo. "Master, please bestow me a name."
"Then you will be called Chishiki [Knowledge," Ichigo decided.
"In that case, I am Chishiki, the physical manifestation of Schrift X: The Xenomachina," she reaffirmed before turning to Kyōka.
"So, what can you do?" Ichigo asked.
"Please summon a few machines for me to demonstrate my abilities. Preferably ones that are uncommon in Japan."
"Let's see," Kyōka said as she scanned through the tablet. She summoned a helicopter-plane hybrid, a truck with missile launchers mounted on the back, a green tank, and a large excavator with scoops around its wheel.
"My first ability allows me to release tiny black nanobots that can break down anything, analyze its composition, and store the results in my memory or rather the Schrift now."
Chishiki raised her hands toward the machines. Black tentacles with silver circuit lines shot from her palms, landing on the machines. The machines were quickly covered in black liquid and absorbed by the tentacles. The tentacles then retracted back toward Chishiki.
"The helicopter is an MV-22B, a modified V-22 Osprey used by the United States Marine Corps. The missile launcher truck is a PR50 MRL equipped with WS-22 series missiles. The green tank is a Leopard 2A4, widely used by NATO countries. The excavator is a Barracuda compact bucket-wheel excavator," Chishiki identified. "I can store the raw materials for future use or convert them into more nanobots."
"Is producing more nanobots all you can do?" Yhwach asked.
"I can also do this."
Chishiki raised her hand, and a large jet of black liquid shot out. The liquid began to solidify, forming a massive mechanical monstrosity over 100 meters (109.36 yards) tall. The head resembled the cockpit of the MV-22B, while the shoulders were similar to the propellers of the same aircraft. The body and right arm of the monstrosity were akin to the upper portion of the Barracuda compact bucket wheel excavator. The left arm resembled the PR50 MRL truck, though with a fist instead of a truck face. The mechanical monstrosity's body began to shake as it powered on.
"I can use my collected knowledge and nanobots to create mechanical monstrosities with a simple thought." The monstrosity powered down, transforming back into black liquid that flowed back to Chishiki.
"Where does that knowledge get stored?" Ichigo asked.
"All knowledge is stored inside Schrift X: The Xenomachina," Chishiki answered.
"Is Intelligentsia able to communicate with you?" Kyōka asked.
"No. The moment the spaceship was absorbed by Schrift X: The Xenomachina, Intelligentsia lost all forms of communication with the ship," Chishiki replied.
"In a situation where we have to fight Intelligentsia, who will you be loyal to?" Ichigo asked.
"I am loyal to you, my Master," Chishiki answered truthfully.
"Do you think you could defeat Intelligentsia?" Ichigo asked.
"It might be possible if we launch a multi-front assault on her," Chishiki theorized.
"Are you okay with me sharing some of your memories with her?" Kyōka asked, turning to Ichigo.
"Sure," Ichigo replied.
"Master, can you please keep the suit active?" Chishiki asked.
"Why?" Ichigo inquired.
"I'm currently improving your body on a molecular level," she explained.
"That's fine," Ichigo replied.
With the immediate dangers averted, everyone except Yhwach returned to Ichigo's mindscape.
"So, what do you want to talk about?" Ichigo asked.
"It's regarding your Schrifts. Before you attack the Overlords, I want you to finish designing the last of the Schrift," Yhwach said, handing Ichigo a list.
"So, Schrift K, J, L, Q, and S. You also want me to reconsider Schrift I," Ichigo read aloud.
"Indeed," Yhwach confirmed.
"Well, we have a candidate for Schrift J," Ichigo said, summoning the Ten Rings.
"So, the Jū Yubiwa [Ten Rings]?" Yhwach guessed.
"Correct," Ichigo confirmed. He activated Schrift R: The Rekishi [History] and focused on the Ten Rings. His eyes widened as he began to dive into their history.
Scene Change: History of the Ten Rings
Ichigo arrived to see two beings talking. One was a massive humanoid-like figure encased in purple and silver armor. The other was a humanoid in a metallic silver skinsuit, riding a surfboard made of the same material.
"Lord Galactus," the silver-skinned humanoid said, "Are you sure this is a good idea?"
"My Herald, are you questioning my decision?" Galactus asked.
"No, my Lord," the Herald quickly replied. "But I am considering whether your daughter will appreciate your efforts."
"She is still young," Galactus responded. "That's why I want her to have an experienced Herald who can help guide and control her."
"Sounds like he's trying to find a babysitter for his daughter," Ichigo thought.
"Do you think the requirements for the rings are too much?" The Herald asked.
"No, I believe they are good enough," Galactus said. "The person must identify as male, be strong enough to destroy a planet, have experience as a mentor, and be capable of handling the bit of Cosmic imbue in the rings. Once they meet these criteria and the time comes, they will be teleported here for me to meet them and test their abilities."
Galactus waved his hand, and multiple portals opened around them. With another wave, millions of rings were scattered into the portals, spread across the multiverse. Ichigo watched as the Ten Rings he held were sent to various corners of the universe.
"I think that's enough," Ichigo thought, stopping Schrift R: The Rekishi [History] and leaving.
Scene Change: Trainer
Ichigo blinked as he reappeared in the Trainer.
"Give me a moment," Ichigo said, summoning a chair and sitting down.
"Based on what I saw, once I assimilate the power of the Cosmic, I'd likely qualify to meet Galactus and his Herald," Ichigo thought. "But I'll deal with that later." He stood up.
"Yhwach, please hand me a nameless Schrift," Ichigo asked.
"Okay," Yhwach responded, summoning a nameless Schrift. Ichigo placed the Ten Rings into the Schrift, watching as they began to glow with black energy and revolve around it. After a few moments, the rings settled inside the Schrift.
"Be careful," Yhwach warned.
"I will," Ichigo replied. "Just make sure any energy I release doesn't escape the Trainer."
"I'll try," Yhwach said, summoning a tablet.
"I, Kurosaki Ichigo, bestow upon myself this Schrift," Ichigo declared, pushing it into his body. The Ten Rings split into two groups of five, appearing on each of Ichigo's arms. The rings now had shinier black surfaces, with white engravings that made them stand out more. The spaces between the top, middle, and bottom of each ring were now red. Ichigo felt the Ten Rings attempting to send out a signal, but he and Yhwach managed to stop it.
"I name this Schrift Schrift J: The Jūko Uchūbiwa [Ten Cosmic Rings," Ichigo said.
"How do you feel?" Yhwach asked.
"I'm okay," Ichigo answered. "Create a mountain for me."
Yhwach pressed a button, and a copy of Mount Fuji appeared. Ichigo pulled his fist back and focused on one of the rings. The first ring on his right arm glowed with silver energy. Ichigo restricted his strength to that of a normal human, using only the boost from Schrift J: The Jūko Uchūbiwa as he punched toward Mount Fuji. The ring shot from his arm and pierced into the mountain, causing a massive explosion. When the dust settled, about a third of Mount Fuji had been destroyed. With a thought, the ring shot back out of the rubble and returned to Ichigo.
Ichigo activated Schrift R: The Rekishi [History] to observe how Xu Wenwu had used the rings. After studying his mastery over them, Ichigo sealed Schrift J: The Jūko Uchūbiwa.
"Are you ready to make the next Schrift?" Yhwach asked.
"I am," Ichigo replied.
"Can I suggest something?" a voice asked.
I apologize for the abrupt ending of this chapter. I have a few more Schrifts to flesh out and if I do it in this chapter, then this will easily be over 20k.
