Chapter 86:

Opening Scene: Universe 199999

Ichigo opened his eyes and found himself on another planet. The surface was covered in orange-brown dirt, with scraps of metal scattered all around, some even floating in midair.

"Where am I?" Ichigo thought to himself. He noticed a snapped stick, and inside it, a rolled-up sheet of paper. He pulled the sheet out and unraveled it.

"You are currently on the planet Titan, the desolate world that used to be Thanos's home. In seven Earth hours, Thanos will arrive to retrieve the Time Stone." As soon as Ichigo finished reading the note, the stick and paper turned to dust and vanished. In the distance, he saw a large object falling toward the planet's surface.

"I guess that's where the Time Stone is," Ichigo thought as the object crashed into Titan. He shunpō'ed to the crash site, the sound of explosions echoing in the air. Ichigo arrived to see six people.

The first person wore a gray helmet with beady red eyes and a rugged suit. He had a young Caucasian man trapped in a headlock, with a futuristic gun pointed at him. The young man wore a form-fitting metallic black and red suit with a black spider in the center of his chest. Behind them stood a young woman with antennas, wearing green sleeveless armor, her arms stuck to her sides with white webs. In front of them stood another Caucasian man, dressed in dark black tights and a bright blue tunic, a gold necklace around his neck. A magic circle spun around his right wrist, ready for use. Behind him stood another Caucasian man in a red and gold suit. He had one hand extended toward the man with the gray helmet, while his other hand formed cannons aimed at a third person. The last figure was a humanoid with gray skin and brown pants, pressing his back to the cannon pointed at his head.

"Hello?" Ichigo called out, raising both of his arms. Everyone turned to face him.

"Are you one of Thanos's minions?" the man with the gray helmet asked, surprisingly in English.

"No," Ichigo replied. He glanced at the man in the red and gold suit. "I'm guessing you're not Thanos's minions, either?"

"I'm not," the man said in English. "He'll be looking for us."

"What?" the man in the gray helmet asked.

"Since none of us are allies with Thanos, can we relax?" Ichigo suggested.

"Fine," the man with the gray helmet said, lowering his gun and releasing the young man from the headlock.

"Okay," the man in the red and gold suit added, removing his foot from the humanoid's back. The cannon on his wrist retracted. The man with the magic circle waved his hand, freeing the other humanoid from the webs. Everyone stepped away from the rubble.

"I think introductions are in order," Ichigo said, using his powers to transfigure the rubble into a circular table with chairs for everyone. His own chair was a different color, designed to support his weight. Everyone sat down, with the man in the gray helmet to Ichigo's left, followed by the humanoid with green skin. The woman with antennas took the next seat, followed by the young man in the black and red suit, then the magic user, and finally, the man in the red and gold suit.

"I guess I'll start," the man to Ichigo's left said. "I'm Peter Quill, alias Star-Lord. I was born on Earth and am currently a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy." He removed his helmet.

"I'm Drax the Destroyer, part of the Guardians of the Galaxy," the gray humanoid introduced himself.

"I'm Mantis, also part of the Guardians of the Galaxy," the woman said.

"Uh… I'm Peter Parker. Alias Spider-Man. Also from Earth and a member of the Avengers," Peter said.

"I'm Doctor Stephen Strange. Like Peter, I'm from Earth and a member of the Avengers," Doctor Strange introduced himself.

"I'm Tony Stark, and I'm also Iron Man, one of the founding members of the Avengers," he said, glancing at Ichigo.

"My name is Ichigo Kurosaki, and I'm from an alternate Earth, unlike all of you," Ichigo said.

"Huh?" everyone responded in confusion.

"I'm from an alternative Earth sent here to make sure you don't fail in killing Thanos," Ichigo explained.

"With introductions out of the way, how do we stop Thanos?" Doctor Strange asked.

"We kill him," Ichigo said flatly.

"Um… killing him is a little extreme, don't you think? Couldn't we take the Infinity Stones from him?" Spider-Man suggested.

"No, Ichigo's right," Star-Lord said. "He's killed countless lives to collect the other Infinity Stones. If we simply take them from him, he'll just try to get them back."

"But killing, though…" Iron Man said, clearly hesitant.

"Tony Stark," Ichigo interjected, catching the man's attention. "Do you have any loved ones?"

"I do," Iron Man replied, thinking of his wife.

"Do you know what Thanos's plan is with all six Infinity Stones?" Ichigo asked.

"I don't," Iron Man admitted.

"He plans to use them to kill everyone in the universe," Ichigo said.

"But Gamora told me he planned to wipe out half of all life in the universe to bring stability," Star-Lord countered.

"He spread that message because who would join him if they knew he planned to kill them all?" Ichigo replied. The group turned to see Doctor Strange, now sitting in the lotus position. His golden amulet opened to reveal a green stone, and green energy surrounded him. His head began to shake.

"Hm… is he okay?" Star-Lord asked.

"I'm not sure," Iron Man replied. The green energy dissipated, and Doctor Strange opened his eyes, looking at Ichigo.

"I've looked through 14,000,605 possible scenarios on how we can defeat Thanos."

"How many did we win?" Spider-Man asked.

"Only one," Doctor Strange said. "But none of the scenarios involved him," he added, turning to Ichigo.

"That makes sense," Ichigo said.

"How?" Doctor Strange asked.

"Me being here already altered your potential future, making it unpredictable," Ichigo explained.

"So, I can only see paths without you in them?" Doctor Strange asked, trying to grasp Ichigo's meaning.

"Correct," Ichigo replied.

"But this is the Time Stone, one of the six Infinity Stones. How are you able to circumvent this?" Doctor Strange asked.

"Simple," Ichigo said. "I'm not bound to Fate or Destiny." He waved his hand, and a portable kitchen appeared beside them.

"What do you mean by that?" Doctor Strange asked.

"Any technique or ability related to looking into the future cannot account for my actions," Ichigo explained as he stood up. He walked over to the kitchen, and ingredients appeared on the counter.

"What are you doing?" Star-Lord asked.

"Making food," Ichigo replied. "We'll need all the energy we can get before we face Thanos."

"He's not wrong," Spider-Man said.

"But what are you planning to make?" Star-Lord asked.

"Hamburgers," Ichigo said. "Want one?"

Star-Lord's eyes lit up. "Yes. No lettuce, tomatoes, or pickles," he mumbled.

Ichigo chuckled.

"Got it. What about your teammates?"

"Give them everything on it," Star-Lord replied.

"Got it. What about you three?" Ichigo asked, glancing at Spider-Man, Iron Man, and Doctor Strange.

"Everything on it," Doctor Strange said.

"No pickles!" Iron Man exclaimed.

"I'm fine with everything on it," Spider-Man said. "Could we get some fries and drinks?"

"Sure," Ichigo said as potatoes appeared beside him. They floated in the air, peeling themselves. A few minutes later, everyone had a plate with their desired burger, a plate of fries, and a glass of Coke in front of them. Ichigo had multiple burgers and plates of fries in front of him. Everyone quickly dug in.

"Did you do anything to this?" Iron Man asked.

"This is the best burger I've ever had," Spider-Man added.

"Good," Ichigo said. "I have more if you want some."

"This Earth food is good," Mantis said. "All of us are feeling happiness from this food."

"More!" Drax yelled. Another plate of burgers and fries floated over to the hungry Destroyer. After twenty minutes, everyone was full. Ichigo snapped his fingers, causing the plates and kitchen to disappear.

"Now that we've finished eating, we need to make a plan," Ichigo said.

"Right." Iron Man nodded.

"We need to capture him alive," Star-Lord said.

"Why?" Ichigo asked.

"Gamora was captured by him," Star-Lord explained.

"She is Star-Lord's lover," Mantis blurted out.

"Mantis!" Star-Lord yelled, clearly embarrassed.

"I understand," Ichigo said.

"We need to remove the Infinity Gauntlet from his left arm," Star-Lord said.

"Why?" Iron Man asked.

"That's where he's keeping the Space, Reality, and Power Stones," Star-Lord answered.

"What about the Soul Stone?" Doctor Strange asked.

"I don't know. When I saw him, he didn't have it," Star-Lord replied.

"Then let's assume the worst," Ichigo said. "He has the Space, Reality, Power, and Soul Stones."

"Then he can manipulate space, reality, energy, and souls," Star-Lord said.

"Then we need to hit him hard and fast," Ichigo said.

"Sucks we can't just chop his left hand off and call it a day," Star-Lord said.

"How durable is he?" Ichigo asked.

"Very durable. I've seen him use the Power Stone with his bare hand," Star-Lord said.

"Then we need to quickly pin him down and distract him. At the same time, we pull the Infinity Gauntlet off his hand," Ichigo said. Everyone nodded. "I will directly confront Thanos. As that happens, everyone will do their best to try and pull the Gauntlet off. After that, we'll restrain him." Ichigo turned to Star-Lord. "Once we have him secured, you can ask him about your lover."

"She's not my lover!" Star-Lord denied.

"Liar!" Mantis shouted.

"Anyways!" Ichigo shouted, getting everyone's attention. "We've got a few hours, so get ready." Everyone nodded.

Time Skip: A Few Hours Later

Ichigo sensed the space around them distort.

"He's coming," Ichigo warned, as he called upon the Jigoku no Yoroi. A black suit of armor materialized around him, decorated with skulls and bones. A skull adorned each shoulder, covering his arms, while his biceps were encased in bone-like armor. Two more skulls rested on his chest, with additional bone armor covering his lower torso. A spiked skirt hung around his waist, and his legs were covered with bone armor, each knee adorned with a skull. He wore bone-like boots, each with a skull on the toe cap. Ichigo's spiral galaxy eyes began to glow crimson. He turned to see a tall, muscular, purple-skinned figure stepping out of the distortion. The being had no hair, small blue eyes, and a disproportionately large chin. He wore golden armor, and a massive gauntlet rested on his left hand. Ichigo noticed a replica of Doctor Strange's necklace, the one where the Time Stone was stored.

"So you must be Thanos," Ichigo said, looking down at the imposing figure. Ichigo guessed Thanos was about 2.5 meters (8 feet, 3 inches (1)) tall.

"I take it Maw is dead," Thanos said. Ichigo nodded. Iron Man had told him about Thanos's forces that were sent to Earth to retrieve the Time Stone. "This day extracts a heavy toll," Thanos continued as he approached Ichigo. "Still, he accomplished his mission."

"You may regret that," Ichigo said. "He brought you face-to-face with the King of Hell." The others were peeking from a distance.

"And where do you think he brought you?" Thanos asked, casually walking toward Ichigo.

"Let me guess. Your home?" Thanos paused for a moment.

"It was." Thanos tightened his fist and activated the Reality Stone. A red wave of energy surrounded them, turning the desolate wasteland into its former inhabitable self. "Titan was like most planets. Too many mouths, not enough to go around. And when we faced extinction, I offered a solution."

"Genocide?" Ichigo responded.

"But random, dispassionate, fair to the rich and poor alike," Thanos clarified. "But they called me a madman." The red wave of energy returned, slowly reverting Titan to its current desolate state. "And what I predicted came to pass."

"Congratulations, you're a prophet," Ichigo remarked.

"I'm a survivor," Thanos corrected him.

"Who wants to murder trillions."

"With all six stones, I could simply snap my fingers," Thanos said, casually snapping his fingers with his right hand. "They would all cease to exist. I call that mercy."

"And then what?" Ichigo asked, stepping closer to Thanos.

"And then I rest. And watch the sunrise in a grateful universe. The hardest choices require the strongest wills."

"I think you'll find our will equals yours," Ichigo said, getting into a fighting pose. All the skulls on his armor began to glow red.

"Ours?" Thanos asked. Ichigo shunpō'ed right next to him. Grabbing Thanos's head, he pulled it down and raised his knee, slamming it into Thanos's face.

"GAH!" Thanos screamed, swinging his right fist at Ichigo's ribs. Ichigo gritted his teeth but kept bashing Thanos's skull with his knee. Thanos activated the Power Stone and delivered an empowered left punch to Ichigo's ribs, forcing him away. Ichigo was sent flying but stopped himself in midair, using shunpō to return to Thanos. As Thanos prepared another empowered punch, he was blindsided by white webs. Thanos tried to pull them off his face as Iron Man fired missiles at his left hand. The missiles hit, forming a brace around his palm, preventing him from tightening his fist. Ichigo's right fist was surrounded by Hellfire as he punched Thanos in the chest, knocking him to the ground.

"GAH!" Thanos screamed in pain as the Hellfire began to burn through his chest. Ichigo sat on top of him as Thanos raised his arms, attempting to punch him. Ichigo quickly placed his left arm on Thanos's chest and circled his right arm around his left arm. Ichigo slid forward, his right knee landing near Thanos's head, and locked Thanos's left arm. Ichigo then executed a straight arm bar, holding Thanos in place.

"NO!" he yelled. Drax suddenly ran and pinned Thanos's legs down, preventing him from trying to get up. Iron Man and Star-Lord ran to Ichigo's side.

"PULL!" Iron Man yelled as they grabbed each side of the Infinity Gauntlet and started to pull up. Red magical rope shot out of Doctor Strange's magic circles and wrapped around the Infinity Gauntlet. All three of them pulled with all their strength.

"NO!" Thanos yelled as he struggled. Suddenly, Mantis wiggled her way into Thanos's face and used her powers to try and put him to sleep. Thanos stopped moving.

"Is he under? Don't let up," Ichigo said.

"Be quick. He's very strong," Mantis warned. Suddenly, the Infinity Gauntlet slipped off, causing Iron Man and Star-Lord to lose their balance. Luckily, Doctor Strange was able to pull the Infinity Gauntlet toward him.

"Drax, Mantis," Ichigo said. Drax and Mantis quickly got off of Thanos. Thanos looked to see his bare left hand.

"NO!" Thanos yelled. Ichigo quickly summoned the Chains of Hell. They pierced his body and wrapped themselves around him. Ichigo released his armbar as the Chains of Hell fully restrained him. Thanos continued to struggle against the chains. Ichigo, Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Doctor Strange kept a close eye while Star-Lord continued to question Thanos.

"You're not so strong now, huh?" Star-Lord teased Thanos. "Where is Gamora?" he asked. Thanos glared at Star-Lord, continuing to struggle against the Chains of Hell.

"Gamora," someone said. They looked to see a blue-skinned woman in an armored red suit walking toward them. Star-Lord turned to the newcomer.

"What?" he asked.

"He took her to Vormir. He came back with the Soul Stone. But she didn't."

"Tell me she's lying," Star-Lord said, glaring at Thanos. Thanos stopped struggling and remained silent. "Asshole, tell me you didn't do it!"

"He did," Ichigo said. "One of my powers allows me to see the sins of an individual." Ichigo walked between Star-Lord and Thanos. "To gain possession of the Soul Stone, he had to sacrifice the one he loves. So, Thanos grabbed her and threw her from the top of a mountain. He left her dead body at the bottom of the cold, desolate mountain." Ichigo said.

"YOU MONSTER!" Star-Lord yelled as he used his gun to beat Thanos. Thanos surprisingly didn't resist Star-Lord's assault. Everyone stood there, allowing Star-Lord to unleash his anger at Thanos. A few minutes later, Star-Lord's gun broke, but that didn't stop him. He began to punch Thanos with his fists. Finally, Star-Lord stopped beating Thanos. He breathed heavily, red blood leaking from his fists. "Sorry," Star-Lord said, seeing everyone standing there.

"No, you needed to get it out of your system," Ichigo replied. He turned to everyone else. "Anyone have any final words for Thanos?"

"We still need his head to claim the bounty," Star-Lord said, still trying to recover.

"Noted," Ichigo said, summoning Rebellion.

"Thanos, it's time for you to die," Ichigo said. Thanos stared at him with a depressed look. "Don't pretend to be depressed. I know your real goal in this mad chase for the Infinity Stones?"

"Wait… his real goal?" Everyone questioned, looking at Ichigo with confusion.

"I thought you said he wanted to kill everyone?" Iron Man asked.

"No… Everyone who knows should be dead." Thanos said, his eyes widening in shock. Ichigo cracked a smile.

"Death tells tales only to those who can hear them," Ichigo said with a smirk.

"No…NO!" he yelled. Ichigo stabbed Rebellion in his chest. Thanos coughed up purple blood as Ichigo pulled Rebellion out of his chest. The ground began to rumble as a large red gate rose out of the ground.

"Thanos, for your crimes of slaughtering countless lives, you shall suffer eternal torment in Hell." The Gate to Hell opened as more Chains of Hell shot out and wrapped around Thanos, pulling his soul out of his body.

"NO!" Thanos yelled. His soul was pulled into the Gate of Hell while leaving his physical body on the ground. Ichigo summoned the white stick that Death-Odin had given to him. He looked to see it was glowing, signifying he had completed his mission.

"Looks like my job here is done," Ichigo said as he sent the white stick back to his mindscape.

"Huh?" Once again, everyone was confused by Ichigo's words.

"Doctor Strange said that all the possible futures he saw would lead to all of us failing this attack," Ichigo said.

"I did," Doctor Strange admitted.

"But you said that you saw a chance of us winning," Iron Man asked.

"Correct," Doctor Strange said. "But we would have to sacrifice a lot before we eventually win." Doctor Strange looked at Ichigo. "His intervention saved us."

"Now all of you need to figure out what to do with the Infinity Stones," Ichigo said, summoning another black stick. This stick had the number 2091313 engraved on it.

"Will we see you again?" Spider-Man asked.

"I doubt it," Ichigo said, breaking the black stick. Ichigo was once again surrounded by transparent energy before being teleported away.

Scene Change: Universe 2091313

Ichigo appeared in an empty alleyway. He quickly cast a privacy spell around himself, preventing anyone from finding him. "Let's see if this stick also has a sheet of paper," Ichigo thought, looking at the broken stick. Lo and behold, there was a rolled-up piece of paper inside. Ichigo pulled out the paper and unraveled it.

"You are currently on this universe's Earth. As mentioned earlier, your mission is to hunt down all the criminals on the scroll. All of them have been judged guilty. Their punishment is removal from this universe. How they are removed is up to you. To assist in locating them, there is a spell inscribed in the list of names. Just press the name and the spell in the scroll will guide you to their location. By saying 'sort by location,' you can sort the names based on your current location to their location. Good luck and avenge the nameless." As soon as Ichigo finished reading the note, the sticks and sheet of paper turned to dust and disappeared.

"Looks like I know what I need to do," Ichigo thought. "Let's find out where I am before I begin the hunt." Ichigo shifted into his human form, now standing about 188 cm (6 feet 2 inches) tall. Walking around the city, he glanced at his surroundings.

"Based on what I see, I'm likely in the United States, and it's about five in the afternoon," Ichigo thought as he walked into another empty alleyway. Closing his eyes to ensure no one was nearby, Ichigo summoned the scroll full of names.

"Sort by location," Ichigo commanded. The scroll glowed as the names on the list rearranged themselves. Ichigo pressed the first name on the list. A small red arrow appeared in front of him. He placed the scroll into his pocket and began following the arrow. As he walked, Ichigo noticed that no one else could see the arrow.

"That's convenient," Ichigo thought. After walking a few blocks, Ichigo realized he was heading toward a restaurant.

"Atomic Skull is located a few miles from me," Ichigo thought. He approached a bar, spotting his destination. Making a quick turn, Ichigo found an empty spot and summoned the Jigoku no Yoroi once more. "Engulf the light and plunge the world into darkness, Nightshroud." Ichigo activated his schrift. Umbra's mantle enveloped his armor, the hood casting a shadow over his face, with his eyes glowing red. Ichigo dove into the shadows, allowing his true form to emerge. Using Shadowrun, Ichigo sneaked into the bar, which was mostly empty, except for a group of six in the far corner.

"Looks like there's more than one here," Ichigo thought as he summoned the scroll again, clicking through each name to identify everyone at the table.

"Albert (2), do you think we'll be safe from them?" One of them whispered, wearing a thick hoodie and sweatpants.

"That's Caitlin Snow (3), better known as Killer Frost," Ichigo identified.

"Matt, we should be safe," Albert replied.

"That's Albert Michaels, better known as Atomic Skull."

"Treating us like this, we helped save the planet," a woman growled in anger.

"That's Barbara Ann Minerva, better known as Cheetah," Ichigo identified.

"Girl, calm down," another person said.

"That's John Hasen (4), better known as Evil Star," Ichigo identified.

"Barbara, you're not the only one who's pissed at them," another woman said as she drank her beverage.

"That's Claire Selton, better known as Volcana," Ichigo identified. He turned to the last woman, who hadn't spoken. "And that's Giganta, a transformed gorilla." Ichigo then glanced at the bartender. "He's not on my list. Time to start."

Ichigo waved his hand, casting Petrificus Totalus on all of them, including the bartender. Instantly, they froze in place. Ichigo slowly emerged from the shadows. Due to his height, he only rose to their waist, any higher, and his head would have crashed through the ceiling.

"Good evening, villains," Ichigo said. They nervously looked at him.

"W-who are you?" Evil Star stammered.

"To you, I am your executioner," Ichigo replied, his gaze fixed on Evil Star.

"John Hasen, you've killed countless people in your pursuit of immortality," Ichigo continued. "You planned to capture these villains and use them to grow your power before eventually killing everyone on this planet."

"H-how did you know that?" Evil Star responded, shocked that his plan had been exposed.

"You what!?" Atomic Skull yelled, unconsciously releasing radioactive energy.

"Albert Michaels," Ichigo said, turning to Atomic Skull. "Calm yourself."

"Fine," Atomic Skull obeyed, and the radioactive energy subsided.

"I sentence you to eternal torment in Hell," Ichigo said as he summoned Rebellion.

"W-wait!" Evil Star yelled, but Ichigo ignored him. He stabbed Rebellion into Evil Star's chest. The blade pierced through his body and skull, instantly killing him. Blood splattered everywhere as Ichigo pulled Rebellion out, his soul following. Ichigo grabbed the soul and summoned a red Garganta, which led directly to Hell. He threw the soul into the gate and closed it.

"Albert Michaels," Ichigo said, turning to Atomic Skull. "You were a scientist at S.T.A.R. Labs, exposed to experimental radiation. Your violent actions have led to the deaths of thirty people and caused cancer in countless others."

"I… I didn't know," Atomic Skull admitted. "I didn't want these powers."

"I know," Ichigo said calmly. "Unlike John Hasen, I can see that you truly regret your actions… so I'll give you two options."

"What are they?" Atomic Skull asked.

"The first is a peaceful death," Ichigo said. "Unlike John Hasen, you won't be sent to Hell when you die."

"A-and the second option?" Atomic Skull asked.

"You will be banished from this universe and relocated to a new one," Ichigo replied.

"I choose the second option," Atomic Skull said.

"Very well," Ichigo said, summoning a contract and handing it to Atomic Skull. "In exchange for sparing your life, you'll be relocated to a new universe where you can learn to control your powers. You'll be given equipment to help regulate them and a chance for a new life. However, you'll be monitored for ten years and subjected to surprise inspections. You'll only be allowed to kill in self-defense unless you decide to become a Hunter." Ichigo explained the contract and released Atomic Skull from his spells. Atomic Skull signed it. Ichigo summoned his Gigai creation gun and scanned Atomic Skull's body.

"Chishiki, can you help me organize these refugees?" Ichigo asked.

"Master, I'll send a copy of myself to handle this matter," Chishiki replied as a copy of herself appeared in front of them, startling everyone.

"This is Chishiki; she'll help you settle until I can place you in your new home," Ichigo explained.

"Thank you for your mercy," Atomic Skull said.

"Do not thank me," Ichigo replied. "Don't waste this opportunity." He activated Tengan and used Haōgan to send Atomic Skull and Chishiki into Haō Zaimushō. Ichigo turned to Cheetah.

"Barbara Ann Minerva, you were a bio-geneticist working on gene splicing to give humans animal traits. After lacking funding, you decided to experiment on yourself."

"And now, I'm a freak," she said.

"I don't see that," Ichigo admitted. "All I see is someone dedicated to their goals." Ichigo turned to Giganta. "You were once an ordinary gorilla transformed into a human by Gorilla Grodd's experiments."

"Uh-huh," Giganta replied. Ichigo turned to Caitlin Snow and waved his hand. A ball of fire appeared in front of her. She sighed in relief as the warmth entered her body.

"Thank you," Killer Frost said.

"I'm aware of your story, Caitlin Snow," Ichigo began. "Another scientist from S.T.A.R. Labs who became a victim of H.I.V.E's assassination attempt." He turned to Volcana. "Claire Selton, you were born with the ability to control fire. Your parents placed you in a government facility, hoping they could control your powers. But instead, they tried to control you and turn you into a weapon."

"That's when I said screw that and escaped," Volcana said.

"You did," Ichigo confirmed. "Once you mastered your powers, you returned to that facility and killed them."

"I don't regret that," she said.

"After killing those scientists, you turned to thievery rather than killing," Ichigo said.

"They didn't deserve to die," Volcana responded.

Ichigo's gaze shifted to the remaining four. "I'll give all of you two options," he declared.

"What are they?" Cheetah asked.

"The first option is that I let all of you go."

"What's the catch?" Cheetah asked quickly.

"Simple. I will place a curse on you, which will only allow you to say a modified version of what you've seen here. This will also modify your memories."

"And the second option?" she asked.

"You will be sent to a new universe with a chance to truly control your powers, get help for your weaknesses, and live a new life with a few restrictions."

"What are those restrictions?" Killer Frost asked.

"They will be similar to the ones placed on Atomic Skull," Ichigo said. "You will not purposely kill unless in self-defense, nor become a Hunter. You will be monitored for a certain period before being free to do whatever you want."

"I want the second option," Killer Frost said.

"Can. You. Help. Me. Smart?" Giganta asked.

"I can," Ichigo replied.

"Go," Giganta responded.

"Might as well," Volcana said.

"What about you?" Ichigo asked, looking at Cheetah.

"Fine," Cheetah said. Ichigo summoned a contract and handed it to everyone. He released them from his spells. They all signed the contract. Ichigo scanned them with the Gigai gun before sending them into Haō Zaimushō. Ichigo created Gigais for everyone. He killed the Gigais the same way he did Evil Star. Ichigo then walked toward the bartender. The bartender looked extremely nervous. No doubt he would have run away by now if it weren't for Ichigo's spell keeping him there.

"Legilimens," Ichigo silently cast. He quickly modified the bartender's memories, making it appear as if Ichigo had violently killed each of the villains, ripped their souls out, and thrown them into Hell. Once he finished, Ichigo pointed Rebellion at the bartender's neck.

"You too have sinned," Ichigo said. "A few more sins and I will exact vengeance." Ichigo lied. He returned to the shadows and released the spell on the bartender. The man immediately collapsed to his knees, his pants soaked. Ichigo summoned a Shadowkhan. The dark blue-robed ninja appeared before him.

"Your task is to remain undetected and observe who enters the scene," Ichigo instructed.

"Yes, Master," the Shadowkhan replied. Ichigo activated Mittei-chōgan. The Shadowkhan's eyes glowed yellow as the second effect of Mittei-chōgan took hold. Ichigo used Shadowrun to track down nearby villains. After five minutes, the bartender recovered and called the police. Upon hearing the names of the victims, the police rerouted the call to the Justice League. Moments later, Superman arrived at the bar.

"We just finished dealing with Darkseid's invasion, and now we have a vigilante killing villains," Superman thought as he entered. He saw the bodies, walked over, and could feel how hot they still were. "According to the report, they were killed less than half an hour ago." Superman raised his hand to his ear.

"Watchtower, this is Superman. Over."

"Superman, this is Mister Terrific. What's the situation? Over," Mister Terrific replied.

"I need a magic specialist and Batman. Over," Superman said.

"Got it. Over," Mister Terrific replied. A few moments later, he continued, "Batman and Zatanna are on their way. Over and out." A few minutes later, Batman and Zatanna appeared.

"Wow, this person is powerful!" Zatanna said, sensing the magic lingering.

"Can you handle him?" Batman asked.

"Possibly," Zatanna replied. She walked over to the nervous bartender and pulled out her wand.

"Ydob eht mlac," Zatanna cast, calming the bartender. "Focus on your memory of the encounter," she instructed.

"I can't think of anything but that," he admitted. Zatanna placed her wand in the center of his forehead.

"Seiromem eht llup," Zatanna said. She slowly pulled her wand from his forehead. A misty white string emerged and followed her wand as she twirled it like noodles on a fork. She pointed her wand at a wall.

"Seiromem eht wohs," Zatanna commanded. Her wand glowed like a movie projector, projecting the memories.

"Looks like we got a vigilante who wants to kill villains," Superman said.

"A strong magic user," Batman noted.

"Maybe a demon," Zatanna added.

"How can you tell?" Batman asked.

"The fire that coated the blade is hellfire. He can rip souls out of bodies, and that red portal leads to Hell. Only a demon can do all three of those things. And even then, this isn't just any demon," Zatanna theorized.

"I'll reach out to Jason Blood," Batman said. Just then, an officer ran up to them.

"Yes, officer?" Superman asked.

"We have another situation in southern Metropolis," the officer nervously reported.

"How bad is it?" Superman asked.

"It's worse," the officer replied.

"We're on our way," Superman said. Unbeknownst to them, the Shadowkhan had slipped from its hiding spot into Batman's shadow. Superman, Batman, and Zatanna left the bar. Superman flew into the air, and Zatanna pointed her wand at Batman.

"Ylf," she said. Both of them were surrounded by magical energy and quickly followed Superman. They arrived to see a large, abandoned building engulfed in flames. The fire wasn't spreading to nearby buildings. A group of firefighters was attempting to put out the fire but to no avail. Zatanna walked over to them.

"Good, you're here," one firefighter said with relief.

"You should stop wasting your time. These are special magical flames that will only be put out when they finish burning their target," Zatanna said.

"I see..." the firefighters replied.

"Zatanna," Batman called. She turned to see a nervous man clinging to Superman's leg.

"We need you to read these memories." Zatanna walked over and extracted the man's memories. She pointed to an undamaged wall and projected them.

The memory showed the man sitting in a makeshift living room, watching the news. A few seconds later, he turned as the door opened, and Toyman entered.

"Good evening, boss," the man said.

"Evening, William," Toyman replied. "Did my toys behave themselves while I was gone?"

"They did, boss," William answered.

"Good," Toyman said. Suddenly, Ichigo rose from the shadows. Before they could react, he bound them with his powers.

"Winslow Schott Jr.," Ichigo began.

"Don't call me that! I'm TOYMAN!" he yelled.

"You've killed countless children to create your toys," Ichigo said.

"I didn't kill them," Toyman protested. "I allowed them to give joy to others."

"That's not how they see it," Ichigo said. He fired strings of reiatsu across the warehouse. Slowly, the spirits of children appeared before them, none of them smiling.

"Winslow Schott Jr.," Ichigo said, holding Rebellion before him. "For your crimes of killing these children, binding them to your toys, and your utter disregard for life, I sentence you to eternal torment in Hell." Ichigo stabbed Rebellion through Toyman, piercing his head and chest. He pulled the blade out, taking the soul with it. Ichigo grabbed the soul, summoned a red Garganta, and tossed it in. The red portal closed.

Ichigo turned to the spirits.

"Be at peace. Your tormentor is dead," Ichigo said, stabbing Rebellion into the ground. Hellfire rose from the blade, spreading across the warehouse. "Burn this place down. Destroy everything, and allow these spirits to find their peace."

The Hellfire obeyed Ichigo's command, setting the warehouse alight. Ichigo turned to William, who was crying.

"William Afton (5). You have assisted Winslow Schott Jr. in all his crimes." Ichigo grabbed William with his hand. "I sentence you to eternal torment in Hell," Ichigo said as he grabbed William; another Shadowkhan slipped into his shadow. Ichigo turned around and threw him out of the warehouse. Zatanna's spell ended as he landed on the ground. Before anyone could say anything, the Hellfire, which had just finished burning down the warehouse, lunged at William. Superman took a deep breath and flew, exhaling a wave of icy cold air. The area around the fire began to turn to ice. To his surprise, the Hellfire ignored the attack and reached William. It immediately burned him into ashes. As soon as it finished, it extinguished itself. Zatanna turned to Superman.

"Superman, how did you not know about this?" she asked.

"I—I don't know," Superman admitted.

"This is your city. Everyone knows that Superman spends most of his time here," Zatanna replied.

"Enough," Batman interrupted. "We need to track this guy down and stop him from killing more."

"No," Zatanna said.

"Zatanna?" Batman asked.

"Batman, he took care of the garbage that we aren't able to do," Zatanna replied.

"But Zatanna, killing is wrong," Superman said. She looked at them.

"Then both of you find him," Zatanna replied. One of the Shadowkhan slipped into her shadows as she teleported away.

"Come on, Superman, we'll regroup at the Watchtower," Batman said.

"Okay, Batman," Superman replied. They teleported away.

Scene Change: Outskirts of Metropolis

As all of that happened, Ichigo had already left Metropolis, New York, using Shadowrun. He watched the events unfold through the Shadowkhan.

"Hm… Let's see how this goes," Ichigo thought. Ichigo followed the arrow and arrived at a collapsed cave. Ichigo moved closer to the collapsed cave. "Did they collapse the cave to hide their tracks?" Ichigo thought. Ichigo activated Schrift E: The Earth and tapped the collapsed cave, only to discover it was a fake wall, concealing the entrance. Ichigo used Schrift E: The Earth to make a small hole, allowing him to slip through using Shadowrun. He closed the hole behind him and resumed using Shadowrun.

Ichigo eventually arrived at a secret underground facility. As he explored the facility, he found a few scientists talking with each other. Ichigo used Legilimency on them.

"So this is the Cadmus facility the American government created," Ichigo thought. "According to the comic books, they committed many experiments to create weapons for combating metahumans," Ichigo mused as he entered the first laboratory. He could see an android lying on a metal operating table. Ichigo activated Schrift X: The Xenomachina. The nanomachines discreetly left the shadow and hacked into Cadmus's computers. Ichigo had the security footage looped as he rose out of the shadows.

"John Corben, also known as Metallo. Your actions have caused the death of many. I sentence you to death," Ichigo said as he executed him. Ichigo took out the scroll. He could see Metallo's name crossed out.

"Good," Ichigo thought as he returned to the shadow. He quickly located more prisoners: Parasite, Deadshot, Livewire, Inque, Katana, Plastique, and Captain Boomerang. Parasite and Deadshot were quickly killed. Livewire, Inque, Plastique, and Captain Boomerang accepted Ichigo's mercy. Katana swore loyalty to him after he freed all the souls trapped in Soultaker and gave a gigai to her husband and children. Ichigo continued to walk down the laboratory. He eventually arrived at a large laboratory with four people floating in large test tubes.

"These are the Ultimen, who were artificially created by Cadmus," Ichigo remembered.

"They are supposed to be suffering from a cellular breakdown," Chishiki commented.

"Do we have any ideas or ways to fix this?" Ichigo asked.

"I believe that if we revert them to a younger age and allow them to naturally age, their bodies wouldn't suffer from this cellular breakdown," Chishiki theorized. Ichigo walked over and began to drain the liquid from their test tubes. A few minutes later, they all woke up.

"Who are you?" The Asian-looking man asked.

"Hello, Wind Dragon," Ichigo greeted. He turned to look at an African American man. "Juice." Ichigo glanced at the white-skinned elvish girl. "Shifter." He turned to the white-skinned elvish man. "Downpour."

"That doesn't answer my question," Wind Dragon said.

"I am here to help all of you," Ichigo replied.

"How?" Juice interjected.

"We theorized the reason your body is currently suffering from cellular breakdown is due to Cadmus's efforts to accelerate your age. We will revert your age to that of children," Ichigo explained.

"You can turn back time?" Shifter asked.

"I can," Ichigo confirmed. "I will not force any of you to make this decision."

"I accept," Wind Dragon said.

"Man, if he's accepting, then I'll join in," Juice replied. Shifter and Downpour turned to each other and nodded.

"I am going to also erase your memories so all of you can experience a real childhood, not an illusion implanted into you," Ichigo said. He waved his hand, putting them all to sleep. He placed his hand on Wind Dragon and removed most of his memories. He repeated the process with Juice, Shifter, and Downpour.

"Stand before Creation. Fall after The End. Chrónou Génesi," Ichigo chanted, activating Schrift C: The Chrónou Árchonta. Chrónou Génesi appeared in his hand. "Chrónou Antístrofí [Time Reversal," Ichigo said as he pointed Chrónou Génesi at the unconscious Ultimen. Slowly, their bodies began to shrink as he reverted them to babies. Another clone of Chishiki appeared. Ichigo transfigured their oversized clothing into baby clothes and towels for each of them. He carefully dressed each of them and wrapped the towels around them. He handed the babies to Chishiki and sent them to Haō Zaimushō. Ichigo once again sneaked out of the lab. The next lab he entered revealed a little girl sitting in a metal chair. She wore a headset over her head. Her arms and legs were bound to the metal chair.

"Who is she?" Ichigo asked.

"There are no records of her actual name, but they called her Ace," Chishiki began.

"Why is she bound?" Ichigo asked.

"Ace can send thought waves to people she is looking at, which warps the mental perceptions of others, often leaving the victims in a catatonic, mentally unstable, or psychologically damaged state. Cadmus took her in at a young age and experimented with her powers."

"I see…" Ichigo said as he approached the cell. He easily broke the bars and walked over to carefully remove the headset. He observed her pale skin, large eyes, and black hair. When Ace looked at Ichigo, he felt her attempting to use her powers on him. Ichigo flared a bit of his energy, easily blocking her thought wave. Ace stopped her attack and looked at him.

"You were able to resist it," Ace mumbled. "Without me wearing the band."

"I know," Ichigo said.

"Are you here to take me away from here?" Ace asked.

"If you want to," Ichigo replied.

"Are you going to make me hurt people, like the Joker did?" she asked.

"No," Ichigo said. "I'm here to free those captured or created by Cadmus." Ace looked at Ichigo for a moment.

"Will you help me control my powers?" Ace asked. "I don't want to be here anymore."

"If you want me to," Ichigo replied as he broke the restraints on her. He carefully helped her stand up. "Is there anything you want to take with you?"

"No," she replied.

"I am going to send you to a place with other people who accepted my help," Ichigo warned. "Please try and control your powers." Ichigo handed her the restraint headset. "If you feel your powers are getting out of hand, use the headset." Ace looked at Ichigo before accepting the restraint headset. Ichigo sent her to Haō Zaimushō. He stepped out of the cell and walked down the hallway before entering the next room. He could see an injured girl floating in liquid, with life support equipment attached to her.

"That's Galatea. Why didn't they focus on healing her?" Ichigo thought.

"According to records, Cadmus determined that Project Galatea was a failure. They collected her damaged body and focused on a new project, Project Seraphim."

"What is that?" Ichigo asked.

"Project Seraphim was born from Project Galatea and Project Ultimen," Chishiki began. "They were able to create their metahumans by combining DNA from Justice League members. They also used the learnings from Project Galatea to create stable metahumans."

"I see…" Ichigo said as he walked over to Galatea and freed her from the test chamber. She opened her eyes and stared at Ichigo.

"Who are you?" Galatea asked.

"My name is Ichigo, and I am here to talk to you," Ichigo said.

"Are you a part of Cadmus?" she asked, trying not to flinch in pain.

"No, allow me to heal you," Ichigo said. He pointed Chrónou Génesi at her. "Chrónou Antístrofí [Time Reversal]." Ichigo activated it as he reversed all the damage she took. A few moments later, Galatea was completely fine.

"Thank you," she said as she tested her body. "But you haven't answered my question," she said.

"I am not from Cadmus," Ichigo answered. "I am someone who is allowing those unfortunate to start over." She gave Ichigo a strange look.

"Why?" she asked.

"Many people turn to a life of crime due to their situation, not because they chose it," Ichigo said. "You and the Ultimen were created by Cadmus to serve as their weapons. Once you were deemed a failure, they abandoned you to your fate."

"Wait… they deemed me a failure?" she asked.

"Correct," Ichigo said. "Your attack on the Watchtower was on July 9th, 2005 (6), and today is May 13th, 2006 (7)." Her eyes widened.

"They… abandoned me?" she mumbled. Ichigo walked over and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"They did," Ichigo said. "But now you have an opportunity to live your life how you want."

"How? I don't know how to act normal," she admitted.

"The Ultimen suffered from cellular breakdown due to Cadmus's method to age them. I had to de-age them to cure them of their cellular breakdown. In addition, they allowed me to wipe their memories so they can truly grow," Ichigo said. "Since you aren't suffering from cellular breakdown and false memories, you could simply live your new life as Galatea."

"That sounds too good to be true," she admitted.

"It does sound too good to be true," Ichigo agreed. "But it isn't," he replied.

"I accept," she said.

"Good," Ichigo replied as he summoned a contract. She read the contract and signed it. Ichigo sent her to Haō Zaimushō.

"There is one more lab here, where they have Project Seraphim," Chishiki said. Ichigo used Shadowrun and entered the final lab. Inside, Ichigo could see seven young adults floating in the test tubes. Chishiki appeared in front of Ichigo.

"The first test tube on the left is named Uriel. She was created by combining the DNA of Wonder Woman, Fire, and Long Shadow. The second test tube is named Gabriel. She was created by combining the DNA of the Flash and Katana. The third test tube is named Ramiel, and her DNA consists of Juice, Doctor Light, and Wind Dragon. The fourth test tube is named Michael, and he is a clone of Superman. The fifth test tube is named Jophiel and is a clone of J'onn J'onzz. The sixth test tube is named Azrael. Her DNA consisted of Hawkgirl, Frost, and Downpour. Lastly, the seventh test tube is Zaphkiel. Her DNA consisted of the Question, Downpour, and Plastique." Chishiki reported.

"Has Cadmus begun the brainwashing process yet?" Ichigo asked.

"Not yet. Hugo Strange, the person in charge of their mental development, is stuck in Gotham City," Chishiki replied.

"I'm going to place them also under your care," Ichigo said.

"Very well," Chishiki said as she used her nanomachines to split herself into two. Chishiki sent her nanomachines toward the life support equipment. The nanomachines separated them from Cadmus and they were able to maintain the equipment. Ichigo sent them and Chishiki to Haō Zaimushō. Chishiki returned to his mindscape as Ichigo escaped the underground facility and headed to Gotham City. As soon as he left, the alarms immediately went off. The scientists quickly checked to discover that all their subjects had disappeared.

Scene Change: Watchtower

Superman and Batman sat in a meeting room with Wonder Woman, Deadman, John Constantine, Detective Chimp, Doctor Fate, and Etrigan.

"Thank you for coming here," Superman said.

"It appears a supernatural threat has appeared right after Darkseid's invasion," Detective Chimp said.

"Correct," Batman said as he played the recordings of Zatanna playing the memories.

"Where's Zatanna? I thought she would be here," John Constantine replied.

"She questioned the need to stop him since he's killing only villains," Batman said.

"I wouldn't stop him," John admitted.

"Etrigan, can you confirm if the flames are hellfire?" Superman asked.

"In the darkened night, a fiery pyre, Ablaze and bold, the mighty hellfire," he confirms.

"Do you know who he is?" Superman asked.

"Etrigan knows, in shadows, he'll stay, Whispers hidden, truths at bay," Etrigan said.

"What can you tell us?" Batman asked.

"Ranked higher than kin, in shadows he thrives, Above grandfather and master, where power derives," he said as fire surrounded Etrigan. "Etrigan's silence, a mystic lore, Whispers sealed, forevermore." Etrigan was engulfed in fire. The fire disappeared, revealing a young man.

"Who is Etrigan's Master and Grandfather?" Batman asked.

"Before Etrigan was bound to Jason Blood, he served under Lucifer," Doctor Fate said.

"As for his Grandfather… it's Trigon," John replied.

"Then this will be extremely difficult," Detective Chimp said.

"My powers are useless against him," Deadman admitted.

"And I can only use my sword against him," Jason said.

"But we still need to do something to stop him," Superman said.

"Superman is right." Batman suddenly turned the TV on. The headline talked about Cadmus and their experiments.

"He must have found Cadmus's location and taken care of the villains in there," Batman said.

"Based on the scene, I believe he is heading to Gotham City (8) since it is about half an hour from Metropolis," Detective Chimp added.

"Dammit," Batman growled. Suddenly, John jumped out of his seat.

"John?" Superman questioned, surprised by the unexpected revelation. He walked over to Batman. John's hands glowed black as he plunged them into Batman's shadow and pulled out the Shadowkhan. Its hands morphed into scythes and attacked John. He was forced to let go of the Shadowkhan. Doctor Fate waved his hand, and a golden ankh appeared. Golden energy shot out and bound the Shadowkhan. The Shadowkhan exploded, shaking the entire room and setting off an alarm. A few seconds later, Martian Manhunter, Hawkgirl, Flash, and Green Lantern rushed in.

"What happened?" Martian Manhunter asked.

"J'onn, apparently our Avenger planted a spy in Batman's shadow," Detective Chimp said.

"And Batman failed to notice," Flash commented.

"Unfortunately, magic isn't my specialty," Batman replied.

"But what was that?" Superman asked.

"It appears to be a being made from shadows," Doctor Fate said.

"To think he was able to spy on us," John commented as he sat back down.

"So, hellfire manipulation, soul manipulation, and shadow manipulation," Batman said as he noted down Avenger's displayed powers.

"Unfortunately, I will not be able to help," Martian Manhunter admitted.

"Right, your pyrophobia," Green Lantern said.

"We need to go down to Gotham City," Batman said. Everyone nodded. Doctor Fate waved his hands, and another golden ankh appeared. It grew bigger, enveloping everyone except for Jason, Deadman, and Martian Manhunter, teleporting them away.

Scene Change: With Ichigo

Ichigo walked away from a burning makeshift hospital and glanced at his scroll.

"I've sent Bane, The Riddler, The Penguin, Scarecrow, Black Mask, Mad Hatter, Hugo Strange, and Professor Pyg to Hell. I mercifully killed Two-Face and Solomon Grundy. Killer Croc and Orca surprisingly wanted a chance to start over, if I gave them both a method to transform back to normal," Ichigo thought. Suddenly, his connection with the Shadowkhan broke. "Looks like they found the Shadowkhan," Ichigo thought. Moments later, a large golden ankh appeared in front of him. "And looks like they're here," Ichigo thought as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, John Constantine, Detective Chimp, Doctor Fate, Flash, Hawkgirl, and Green Lantern appeared.

"Welcome, Justice League," Ichigo greeted. "It seems you are here to stop me from fixing your mistake."

"We are not executioners," Batman said.

"But you allowed these villains to continue to kill the innocent," Ichigo replied.

"Enough talking. None of us are going to stand down," John said.

"Indeed," Ichigo said as he activated Taishōgen and created eight golems. They looked exactly like Ichigo, but each wielded a weapon belonging to the Schrifts he had bestowed upon them.

"All of you have your assigned opponent," Ichigo mentally commanded. The golems charged toward their respective opponents, leaving Ichigo to face Superman. He activated Schrift H: The Hakaimono, stabbing Rebellion into the ground as he walked toward Superman.

"Come at me, Superman," Ichigo challenged.

"You asked for this," Superman replied as his eyes glowed red.

"Destructive Aura," Ichigo said, surrounded by a silver aura. Superman shot his heat vision at Ichigo, but the Destructive Aura destroyed the laser beam. Superman stopped his attack.

"My turn," Ichigo said, shunpō'ed in front of Superman. "Internal Destruction," Ichigo declared as he punched Superman in the face. The Destructive Aura flowed through Superman's skin and into his lower jaw, destroying it. Blood and broken teeth flew out of his mouth. Superman staggered back, wiping the blood off his mouth.

"Is that all, Superman?" Ichigo taunted, getting into a fighting stance. Superman glared and flew toward him, attempting to punch Ichigo. Ichigo responded with a punch of his own, the Destructive Aura flowing into Superman's fist and destroying the bones.

"Gah!" Superman yelled in pain. After a few more punches, Superman collapsed on the ground, beaten to a pulp. Ichigo turned around, observing the golems fighting the rest of the Justice League.

Scene Change: Batman vs. Schrift B: The Battle Booster

When Ichigo bestowed the golem with Schrift B: The Battle Booster, Vermillion took control. Battle Booster appeared around her arms as she charged toward Batman. He threw a few batarangs, but she swatted them away, continuing her pursuit.

"Two Counter Dash," she said, suddenly appearing behind Batman. "One Counter Explosive Fist!" she yelled, punching him in the back. The explosive force knocked Batman down, damaging a portion of his batsuit. "Two Counter Explosive Kick," she said, stomping on Batman's back. The force pushed Batman through the ground into the sewer. She followed, finding Batman floating in the water. She grabbed him, throwing his injured body out of the sewer. She then jumped out, placing Batman's body next to Superman's.

Scene Change: Doctor Fate vs. Schrift D: The Diablo Divider

When Ichigo bestowed the golem with Schrift D: The Diablo Divider, Nightingale took control. Her wings and white gloves appeared as she flew toward Doctor Fate. A golden ankh appeared behind Doctor Fate, sending golden fists toward Nightingale.

"Diving Wall," she said, creating a transparent blue barrier. The golden fists collided with the barrier, dissipating into energy that Nightingale absorbed.

"That wall can absorb all the magical energy used in the fists and add that power to her own," Doctor Fate analyzed. He pulled a few empty cars from the streets and sent them toward Nightingale. The cars slammed into the barrier, doing nothing.

"My turn," Nightingale said as she flew toward Doctor Fate. "Divided Reflection." She suddenly appeared in front of him, utilizing the kinetic energy from the cars Doctor Fate had thrown at her. "Diving Strings." Transparent blue strings flew toward Doctor Fate. He raised his hand to cast a spell. "Divided Reflection." A transparent blue fist slammed into Doctor Fate's back, causing him to lose focus, and allowing Nightingale to continue draining him of his energy. She grabbed Doctor Fate's helmet and pulled it off his head. He attempted to cast another spell, but Nightingale interrupted him with her transparent blue fists. Suddenly, Detective Chimp slammed into Doctor Fate's back. Nightingale looked to see Keter.

"Thank you," she said, noticing both of them were unconscious.

Scene Change: John Constantine vs. Schrift N: The Negate

John Constantine stared at the golem armed with the Kūsho Yari. The golem charged toward John, who quickly cast a spell, sending a wave of fire at it. The golem stabbed Kūsho Yari forward, splitting the spell in two. John barely avoided the attack, but the golem persisted, attacking relentlessly. To his horror, all his spells proved ineffective against the golem.

"Will ya give me a damn break!?" John yelled.

"No," the golem replied. John attempted to teleport out, but the golem grabbed his arm. Unable to cast spells, John found himself slammed into the ground repeatedly until he lost consciousness.

Scene Change: Detective Chimp vs. Schrift S: The Sefirot

When Ichigo bestowed the golem with Schrift S: The Sefirot, Keter took control. Activating Keter, Malkuth, and Geburah, a golden crown and suit of armor appeared on the golem with a large red and black halberd in her hands.

"This is not going to end well," Detective Chimp said, drawing the Sword of Night.

"Indeed," Keter replied as she charged toward Detective Chimp. Swinging Geburah down, Detective Chimp dodged and charged back. Parts of her armor transformed into golden cutlasses that flew toward him. Detective Chimp tried to block the flying swords as Keter took advantage of his focus. She swung Geburah like a baseball bat, sending Detective Chimp flying. He slammed into Doctor Fate's bound body, rendering them both unconscious.

Scene Change: Flash vs. Schrift C: The Chrónou Árchonta & Schrift K: The Kūkan-teki Shihai

Flash stared at the golem holding Chrónou Génesi. "What are you going to do with that?" Flash asked.

"Chrónou Alysídes [Time Chains," the golem replied. Chains around Chrónou Génesi flew toward Flash, who quickly dodged them and rushed toward the golem. "Tetraplásio Chrónou Epitachýno [Quadruple Time Accelerate," the golem declared. Despite Flash's attempt to move faster, the golem dodged his initial attack.

"I should have asked Diana to teach me Greek," Flash thought as he continued his rapid movements toward the golem.

"Chrónou Stási [Time Stop," the golem declared. Suddenly, time around them froze. The Flash almost punched the golem in the face, but the golem took a few steps to the side. "Chrónou Alysídes." The golem cast and the chains casually wrapped themselves around the Flash. Moving Chrónou Génesi to its left hand, the golem summoned Kurokishi to its right hand. Kurokishi glowed black as it separated the Flash from this dimension. The golem observed as the Flash flattened, resembling a paper cutout. "Chrónou Archí [Time Start," the golem said as the flow of time resumed for everyone except the Flash, who remained motionless and flat (9).

Scene Change: Hawkgirl vs. Schrift A: The Arashi Shōkanshi

Hawkgirl faced the golem wielding the nodachi. "Nitōryū [Two Sword Style," the golem announced. The nodachi split into two katanas, one white and the other blue and green. Hawkgirl flew toward the golem. "Raigeki." The golem stabbed the white katana forward, releasing a large bolt of white lightning toward Hawkgirl. Swiftly moving to the side, she avoided the attack. Lightning gathered around her mace as she swung it down toward the golem. The golem raised the white katana, blocking her downward strike. It then pointed the other katana at Hawkgirl. "Arashigeki [Storm Strike," the golem declared. A storm cyclone erupted from Arashiken, hitting Hawkgirl in the chest and sending her flying. The golem took a deep breath, surrounded by a vortex of white, blue, and green energy. The vortex hit Hawkgirl, pinning her in place in the air. Holding the swords in an X shape, the golem executed "Shōryū Dai Abare [Rising Dragon Rampage," delivering a powerful X-slash at Hawkgirl.

"Gah!" she screamed as blood poured from her X-shaped wound, falling to the ground as more blood continued to drip.

Scene Change: Green Lantern vs. Schrift Q: The Qliphoth

When Ichigo bestowed the golem with Schrift Q: The Qliphoth, Naamah took control, a black crown materializing atop her head. Green Lantern's ring glowed as it formed green machine guns, firing green bullets at Naamah. She raised her left hand, activating Gamchicoth. A slit appeared before her palm, revealing a small black hole that began pulling everything toward it, including the green bullets.

"Looks like I need to get in there," Green Lantern thought, forming two giant fists with his ring and swinging them at Naamah. She caught the fists with her hands, and the green constructs began turning dull white. He released the constructs, causing them to vanish. Naamah smirked, forming a null-white machine gun and firing bullets at him.

Creating multiple shields, Green Lantern tried to block the attack. The demonic light bullets collided with his shields, corrupting them.

"Think, John," he thought, desperately trying to find a solution. In his distracted state, he didn't notice a giant, dull white fist descending from above. He quickly formed a bunker construct in an attempt to shield himself, but the fist slammed into him, embedding him into the street. The white fist dissipated, revealing the dull white bunker. Naamah snapped her fingers, making the demonic light vanish. She glanced down at Green Lantern, now unconscious and back in his regular clothes.

Scene Change: Wonder Woman vs. Schrift W: The War Lord

Wonder Woman faced the golem wielding the black and red Excalibur.

"I decree this to the Laws that bind all Worlds! Know me and fear me! Know me and revere me! For I am the Lord of the Eternal War! Let all creation hear my declaration!" the golem proclaimed. Wonder Woman's eyes widened as the golem was encased in black armor. She shivered, recognizing the energy around them.

"This is like fighting Lord Ares," Wonder Woman thought. The golem charged at her and began attacking. She blocked the strikes with her sword.

"Is this all, Wonder Woman?" the golem asked. For a moment, the image of Ares, the God of War, overlapped with the golem. Seizing her moment of distraction, the golem kicked her in the stomach, sending her flying.

"Ares, why are you interfering in this battle?" Wonder Woman demanded as she struggled to stand.

"You are mistaken, Wonder Woman," the golem explained. "My master fought Ares from his universe and was granted his power. He fully assimilated that power and made it his own."

"I see," Wonder Woman acknowledged.

"I wonder if this counts as the Greek Pantheon interfering with my master," the golem mused. Wonder Woman looked confused, and just as she did, she heard a voice in her mind.

"Diana," came the mental communication.

"Lord Zeus," Wonder Woman replied.

"You need to retreat now," Zeus advised.

"But, Lord Zeus—" Wonder Woman began.

"Child, he is a mortal man who has slain gods before. I've heard this from another version of myself," Zeus warned. "If you continue this fight, you will implicate us all."

"I will do as you command me," Wonder Woman affirmed, and with that, she teleported away.

Scene Change: With Ichigo

The golems dragged their defeated opponents and threw them before Ichigo. The golems disappeared, reabsorbed by Ichigo. Superman, battered and broken, looked at Ichigo.

"Is this the point where you kill us?" Superman asked.

"No," Ichigo replied. "This serves as a warning to you and the Justice League," Ichigo declared. "Interfere with my mission, and I will break you," he said, vanishing into the shadows.

As he left, Flash regained his connection with time and space, returning to the third dimension. He immediately collapsed, landing face-first.

"Ow… what happened?" Flash groaned.

Thanos's MCU height is used here. According to the comics, he's even shorter, standing at 2.01 meters or 6 feet 7 inches.

While this is based on the Justice League animated series (JLAS), Atomic Skull didn't have an origin story there. I created a slight variation based on his Prime Earth origin story.

JLAS depicted Killer Frost as a killer for fun. Still, I found Prime Earth Killer Frost, who initially was a villain but turned into a hero, and used a modified version of that origin story.

Evil Star was never given a name in either JLAS or Prime Earth, so I combined John Broome and Irwin Hasen, his creators, to create John Hasen.

William Afton from Five Nights at Freddy's

July 9, 2005, was the date the episode "Panic in the Sky" was aired.

May 13, 2006, was the date the episode "Destroyer" was aired.

I decided to locate Gotham City in Newark, New Jersey, while Metropolis is in New York City. It would take about half an hour to get there.

This fight surprisingly took a while for me to think out due to Flash's speed and the Speed Force. The Speed Force is the force that moves time and space forward. So, stopping time should work on the Flash. By further separating him from space, he wouldn't be able to move when the golem allows time to flow normally.
