Ichigo and Kaguya sat down in their chairs, facing each other. Beside each of them was a cup of hot tea.
"What is it that you want, stranger from another world?" she asked.
"You're aware I'm not from this world," Ichigo replied.
"I am," Kaguya replied. "I can sense the energy around you is different from chakra."
"I see…" Ichigo replied. "I was sent here to investigate the missing gods from this world."
"So even gods have beings that they answer to," Kaguya said.
"So why did you invade this world?" Ichigo asked, ignoring Kaguya's previous comment.
"According to the legends, the Ōtsutsuki Clan used to be a human clan from an unnamed world. That world was surrounded by an otherworldly energy called Qi. The people of that world were able to absorb Qi to empower themselves. These people called themselves Cultivators. These Cultivators were able to shatter mountains with a punch, part the sea with a swing of their sword, or even fly in the air. Ōtsutsuki Chakra(1), a Cultivator, believed that he could create a faster method to absorb Qi. After much trial and error, Chakra-sama created a technique that would forcibly pull the Qi from the environment and consolidate it into a fruit. When Chakra-sama harvested the first fruit and ate it, a new power flowed into his body. He felt stronger than before. This energy was different than the Qi he absorbed before. He quickly found that this new energy was much stronger and more concentrated compared to Qi. So, he named this new energy Chakra, in honor of himself. He named the technique the Chakra Tree and the fruit the Chakra Fruit," Kaguya began.
"I assume he didn't stop at one," Ichigo replied.
"Correct," Kaguya replied. "Chakra-sama realized that there was not enough Qi in the immediate surroundings of the first Chakra Tree, so he experimented further. He discovered that the Chakra Tree can also absorb the Qi from Cultivators. So, Chakra-sama gave a piece of the Chakra Fruit to his most loyal retainers, giving them access to Chakra, though less than he gained. Chakra-sama quickly took over the Ōtsutsuki Clan and began to hunt down everyone they could find to cultivate more Chakra Trees."
"Did the other Cultivators fail to stop them?" Ichigo asked.
"Indeed," Kaguya replied. "The Ōtsutsuki Clan quickly decimated the other Cultivators, offering their bodies to the Chakra Trees. The Chakra Trees drained all the Qi from the dead Cultivators and their world."
"So, they began to invade other worlds to cultivate Chakra Trees," Ichigo said.
"Correct," Kaguya replied. "Eventually, Chakra-sama absorbed so much energy he ascended into godhood, leaving the Ōtsutsuki Clan to continue his legacy."
"I see… how long has it been since Chakra-sama's ascension?" Ichigo asked.
"It has been over five millennia since," Kaguya replied.
"Any signs of Chakra-sama's return?" Ichigo asked.
"There has been false signs orchestrated by the other clan members in an attempt to usurp the head of the clan." Kaguya replied.
"What happened when you came to Earth?" Ichigo asked.
"My father, Lord Shibai, the current Head of the Ōtsutsuki Clan, sent me to Earth with my loyal retainer. When we arrived on Earth, we were attacked by those Gods. My retainer used himself as a trap to bait all those Gods into another dimension and trapped them there," Kaguya explained.
"That would align with the barrier I sensed when I tried to go to Takamagahara," Ichigo thought.
"Afterwards, I planted the seed for the Chakra Tree and waited for it to grow. During that time, I was discovered by the people of the Land of Ancestors. They brought me to their ruler, Emperor Tenji. I initially told him that I was the guardian of the God Tree, their name for the Chakra Tree. This scared him, so I used one of my techniques to alter all of their memories, becoming his concubine. During my time with them, I gradually cared about them. I eventually became pregnant with Tenji's children. When the Land of That began to threaten the Land of Ancestors over a border dispute, Tenji attempted to prevent the outbreak of war by declaring that anyone who attacked the representatives was to be executed. I was forced to violate that order when the representatives threatened us," Kaguya sighed. "Seeing how inhumane those representatives acted towards the people of the Land of Ancestors and what Tenji was forced to do, made me despise humanity, yet I still cared about them. So, I decided to commit the ultimate taboo of the Ōtsutsuki Clan, eating the Chakra Fruit."
"Why is this the ultimate taboo?" Ichigo asked.
"After Chakra-sama's ascension, Lord Suinin (2) enacted a rule regarding the Chakra Fruit. The first fruit produced from the Chakra Tree must be offered to Chakra-sama. The second Chakra Fruit is given to the current Lord of the Ōtsutsuki Clan. Any more Chakra Fruit produced belongs to whoever cultivated the fruit," Kaguya explained.
"I see…" Ichigo replied.
"So, I ate the fruit. I awakened the Rinne Sharingan and had access to Chakra. I used my newfound power to attack all the other nations. With my immense power, I ended the wars and took control of the nations. It wasn't long before Hagoromo and Hamura were born and inherited the ability to use Chakra. Life was going great until Isshiki accidentally arrived."
"Isshiki?" Ichigo asked.
"He is another member of the Ōtsutsuki Clan. He noticed the Chakra Tree and came down to see who was there. That was when he discovered me and sensed the Chakra flowing out of my body. He tried to escape and report to Lord Shibai about my actions. I was able to injure him and sacrifice him to the Chakra Tree. After the fight, I realized the dangers my people would face if the Ōtsutsuki Clan discovered what happened."
"This is when you fought against Hagoromo and Hamura," Ichigo said.
"Indeed," Kaguya replied, not surprised that Ichigo knew her children's names. "I decided to fight them straight on, instead of using trickery."
"Why?" Ichigo asked.
"A few reasons," Kaguya sighed. "The first was to see if Hagoromo and Hamura were strong enough to defeat me. If they were strong enough, then when the Ōtsutsuki Clan eventually discovered my treachery, they would be able to protect the world."
"And if they were not?" Ichigo asked.
"Then I would beg forgiveness from them as I drained them of their Chakra to protect the world," Kaguya said.
"But that didn't happen," Ichigo said.
"Not exactly," Kaguya said. "During the battle between us, I used a special technique that Lord Suinin created. The special technique allows someone with Ōtsutsuki blood to combine with the Chakra Tree to access even more power than before. During the fight between Hagoromo and Hamura, they developed a seal to do three things. It separated me from the Chakra Tree, extracted the collected chakra from us, and sealed both of us."
"Then the Jūbi we fought was the Chakra Tree," Ichigo said.
"Correct," Kaguya said.
"Before Kaguya was sealed, she created me to unseal her." From Kaguya's shadow, a shadowy face revealed itself.
"Yes, my child. Thank you for your hard work," Kaguya replied. The shadowy face disappeared back into Kaguya's shadow.
"Now what?" Ichigo asked.
"With Hagoromo and Hamura dead and everyone too weak, there is only one option now," Kaguya said. "I must extract all the Chakra from everyone and leave this planet."
"But doing so will kill a lot of people," Ichigo replied.
"Only those with chakra," Kaguya corrected.
"But still… is that the only option available?" Ichigo asked.
"What do you mean?" Kaguya asked.
"What about fighting the Ōtsutsuki Clan?" Ichigo asked. Kaguya stared at Ichigo.
"Fight the Ōtsutsuki Clan?" Kaguya questioned. "Do you think you are strong enough to handle them?" she asked.
"I do," Ichigo replied. Kaguya stared at Ichigo with her pupilless eyes. Ichigo calmly stared back at her.
"Then I will make a deal with you," Kaguya said. "Show me the power that you are confident in."
"Here?" Ichigo replied.
"No." Kaguya stood up from the table. A black portal opened beside her. "Follow me," she said as she entered the portal.
"Didn't expect to see her open a Garganta," Ichigo thought as he followed behind her.
Scene Change: Pocket Dimension
Ichigo and Kaguya stepped out onto a mountainous plain.
"This is a safe spot for us to go all out," she replied as she flared her chakra. The ground around them crumbled from the force. Ichigo calmly stood there, unaffected by the chakra.
"My turn," Ichigo said as he entered his Shinigami form. He lowered his reiatsu. Kaguya's eyes widened as the force of Ichigo's reiatsu slammed into her. It took her some effort to remain standing.
"Did that pass your test?" Ichigo asked.
"Impressive to say the least," Kaguya replied. "But let's see your fighting skills."
"Ok," Ichigo said as he held both Zangetsu crossed together. "Getsuga Jūjishō!" Ichigo shouted as he swung his swords down. Bluish-white chakra covered Kaguya's hands as she caught the attack. She struggled to hold it back.
"Getsuga Tengeki," Ichigo added as he stabbed the Zangetsu in his right hand forward. A linear blast of reiatsu shot out and collided with the Getsuga Jūjishō, causing a massive explosion. Ichigo stood there and waited as the dust settled. He could see Kaguya was slightly harmed. Parts of her kimono sleeves were singed.
"Is that all?" Kaguya asked.
"No," Ichigo admitted. "Let me know how much effort it takes you to break out of this." Ichigo pointed his finger at Kaguya. "Bakudō #61. Rikujōkōrō." Six thin, wide beams of light slammed into Kaguya's midsection.
"Mother!" the black shadow shouted from Kaguya's sleeve.
Ichigo sensed Kaguya unleashing more Chakra. She tried to break the Bakudō, destroying the ground in the process.
"Looks like Kaguya can't break free from the Bakudō," Ichigo thought.
This continued for five minutes before Ichigo released the Bakudō.
"Impressive seal," Kaguya commented.
"Thank you," Ichigo replied.
"Do you have any techniques to stop dimensional movement?" Kaguya asked.
"Hm…" Ichigo thought.
"Using Schrift R: The Reality is a valid option," Yhwach commented.
"We believe that our Tenkai could also restrict dimensional movement since our Bankai does something similar," Katen added.
"I don't know why but I think my Tenkai can restrict dimensional movement," Shirayuki added.
"Yes. I do," Ichigo answered.
"Good. All of the Ōtsutsuki Clan know different levels of dimensional movement," Kaguya said.
"Have I passed your test?" Ichigo asked.
"One last test," Kaguya said as a copy of herself appeared in the distance. "I assume that the attack you used earlier was not your strongest." Ichigo nodded.
"Then I want you to use your strongest attack on that copy. I gave that copy a large amount of my chakra."
"Ok," Ichigo replied. "Bankai," he said.
A large blast of reiatsu erupted around Ichigo. Kaguya raised her arm to cover her face. The reiatsu dissipated, revealing Ichigo in his Bankai.
"Tensa Zangetsu," Ichigo said.
He wielded a pair of black tonfa-like weapons. One part of the black tonfa covered Ichigo's fists, looking like knuckle guards, while a large black blade ran parallel with Ichigo's forearm. Ichigo now had a black, bandage-like carapace around his torso, neck, and over the nose and mouth like a mask. The remains of a tattered black cloak covered his lower body.
"Getsuga Tengeki," Ichigo said as he punched with his right hand.
A massive blast of reiatsu shot out of his hand, much faster than before. The blast obliterated the clone that Kaguya created.
"I didn't even see him move," Kaguya thought to herself.
"Is that enough?" Ichigo asked.
"Maybe…" Kaguya admitted.
"Why maybe?" Ichigo asked.
"Even now, I don't know if you are strong enough to kill Lord Shibai," Kaguya admitted.
"We can see soon enough," Ichigo replied as he sealed Zangetsu and sent Kokugatsu back to his mindscape. "Is there anyone or anything you want to bring back?"
"Just a few personal belongings," she admitted.
"Then quickly retrieve them as I attack the Ōtsutsuki clan," Ichigo replied.
"Ok," Kaguya replied. "Once you enter this portal, you will arrive at the main estate which houses the Royal Family, Vassals, and Slaves. The Royal Family members and the Vassals will have the Byakugan. The Royal Family will also have unique horns around their head."
"Where did the slaves come from?" Ichigo asked.
"The slaves were survivors from fallen worlds, who were captured to entertain their captors," Kaguya explained.
"I need to kill the Royal Family and the Vassals," Ichigo said.
"And the slaves," Kaguya added.
"Why?" Ichigo asked.
"The Royal Family has another special technique called Kāma which contains a fragment of their soul and a copy of their body. The Kāma were placed on the slaves and if that member dies, they can use the Kāma to reincarnate through the slave," Kaguya explained.
"Is there any way to destroy the Kāma?" Ichigo asked.
"No," Kaguya replied.
"What do you think?" Ichigo asked.
"In theory, we should be able to sense if someone tries to escape by using their soul," Yhwach said.
"Especially if you use my Bankai to cover the area with your icy reiatsu," Shirayuki added.
"Ok." Ichigo raised his hand and summoned Kōsetsu.
"Are you ready?" Kaguya asked.
"Dance, Sode no Shirayuki," Ichigo said as he entered Shikai. "Now I am." Kaguya raised her hand and opened a portal. Ichigo leaped into the portal. Kaguya closed the portal and opened a new one with a different location. Kaguya entered the portal.
Scene Change: Ōtsutsuki Home World
Ichigo stepped out of the portal and arrived in a courtyard. The buildings around him reminded him of photos he had seen of ancient China. The people around him screamed in fear at his sudden appearance.
"Run," Ichigo said. They all turned around and ran away.
In the distance, Ichigo spotted someone running toward him. He had greyish-blue unkempt short, spiky hair which he wore in a ponytail. He had brown horns that grew from the back of his head and wrapped around to his forehead, with a small gap in between them. He wore a long-sleeved, light-colored suit with a sectioned apron over it, along with a sash. Ichigo could see him having the Byakugan. The man stopped in front of him.
"Hm… who are you?" the man asked.
"I could ask the same," Ichigo replied.
"Hm… I'll entertain your request," the man said. "I am Urashiki Ōtsutsuki," he said.
Ichigo replied with one word.
"Bankai." A large explosion of reiatsu shook the entire building. Urashiki raised his arm to protect himself from the force of the attack. As the reiatsu settled, snow began to fall. He looked to see Ichigo dressed in a white, ankle-length kimono with lined patterns. The robe had an attached ornate collar, edges, and shoulder design with long, wide sleeves. Ichigo had a small half-crown of ice that extended around the back of his head. Ichigo's shoulder-length hair became white.
"Saigo no mai, Eien no Shirayuki." Snow began to fall around them.
"Why is it so cold all of a sudden!?" Urashiki shivered. He began to let out a small bit of his chakra, heating up his body. He summoned a fishing pole and swung it downwards, sending the fishing line towards Ichigo.
"Shirafune," Ichigo said.
Shirayuki's blade shot forward, towards Urashiki. His eyes widened as he was forced to move to the side, dodging the attack and jerking his fishing line back. Ichigo flicked his wrist, causing Shirayuki's blade to segment, like a whip, and tried to hit Urashiki. He raised his fishing rod to block the whip, only for the whip to snake around the fishing rod and stab itself into Urashiki's eye.
"AH!" He screamed in pain as he grabbed Shirayuki's blade and tried to pull it out of his eye. Icy reiatsu leaked out of Shirayuki's blade and quickly began to freeze his eyeball and his hand. Urashiki summoned his fishing rod and flung the line towards Ichigo. Ichigo stepped to the side and cast the next attack.
"Reitōhitsugi [Frozen Coffin]." All the snow that had fallen surged towards Urashiki. The snow quickly compressed, forming a rectangular prism-shaped coffin. Ichigo watched as red spears of energy began to grow from Reitōhitsugi, draining Urashiki of all his energy. Ichigo flicked his wrist, causing Shirayuki to return to normal. Ichigo walked over and grabbed all the red spears, absorbing the energy, and increasing the strength of the blizzard.
"Urashiki's soul has left his body but is stuck inside Reitōhitsugi," Shirayuki said.
"I will send it to Hell," Ichigo replied as he opened a small portal to Hell. The Chains of Hell shot out of the portal and ensnared Urashiki's soul. Urashiki's cries for help were blocked by the Reitōhitsugi. After that, Reitōhitsugi and Urashiki's dead bodies crumbled into powdered snow.
"Looks like Kaguya already arrived," Ichigo thought as he sensed her energy as she traversed through the snow. Ichigo began to explore the ice-covered estate and continued to hunt down the Royal Family and the Vassals. Ichigo stopped in front of a frozen slave. "Shirayuki, does this one have a Kāma on it?"
"He does, on his right hand," Shirayuki replied. "The Kāma is currently inactive, resembling a tattoo. It has a spell on it for the owner's soul to track the Kāma down."
"Were you able to remove the Kāma?" Ichigo asked.
"It was easy," Shirayuki replied. "It was like peeling off a bandage on their soul."
"Good. I didn't want to slaughter everyone here," Ichigo admitted as he continued to explore the estate. He encountered a few more Ōtsutsuki members. Ichigo quickly killed them, like he did with Urashiki. They too tried to use their Kāma to escape death, but Ichigo swiftly stopped their attempt and sent them to Hell. By now, the blizzard created by Saigo no mai, Eien no Shirayuki had grown bigger than a city. "What is taking Kaguya so long?" Ichigo thought.
Suddenly a black portal opened in front of him, and two pale-skinned people stepped out, the first one stood about two meters tall with a burly physique. He had short spiky blue-greyish hair, a full beard, and a long horn above his left eye. He had big hands that accompanied his physique. He wore a pale blue shirt with black cuffs and a high collar over which he wore another darker appendage with a grey sash wrapped around his waist. He also wore grey pants and black, flat shoes on his feet which were upturned at the toes.
The second person had pale blue hair kept in a long ponytail. His hair was parted down the middle in a zig-zag pattern, and his head was adorned with a pair of flat, curved horns that resembled bull horns. He had delicate facial features and his eyebrows. He wore a white kariginu hunting robe, baggy pants, a pair of tengu-geta, and a single black glove on his left hand.
"Momoshiki-sama, allow me to deal with this fool," the large man said.
"Go, Kinshiki. Do not fail me," Momoshiki said.
The large man bowed to Momoshiki before turning to face Ichigo. Kinshiki summoned a large red axe and charged at Ichigo.
"Tsurarada," Ichigo said as he jumped back, avoiding Kinshiki. Large icicles formed in the air and descended towards Kinshiki. He used his axe to smash the icicles.
"Foolish. Do you think this measly ice will harm anyone from the mighty Ōtsutsuki clan?" Ichigo landed on the ground.
"Juhaku," Ichigo said as he stabbed Shirayuki into the ground. The ground rumbled as meter-long ice stalagmites sprouted up towards Kinshiki.
"More ice?" Kinshiki questioned as he continued to smash the stalagmites and charged towards Ichigo.
"Not just ice," Ichigo began to puncture the ground in a semi-circle. "But my ice," Ichigo replied. Icy reiatsu began to flow up from the punctures towards Ichigo. "Hakuren," Ichigo said as he stabbed Shirayuki forward. A large blast of icy reiatsu shot out of Shirayuki's blade. Kinshiki was about to leap out of the way when he noticed something.
"Momoshiki-sama is behind me." Kinshiki's eyes widened when he realized he had fallen into Ichigo's trap. He let go of his axe and formed a giant rectangular shield in front of him as he was forced to block Ichigo's attack. Hakuren slammed into Kinshiki's shield.
"I will not let Momoshiki-sama be harmed!" He yelled as he struggled to stay standing.
"Reitōhitsugi," Ichigo calmly said. All the icy energy from Hakuren suddenly turned back around and surrounded Kinshiki.
"NO!" He yelled. His voice was quickly muffled by all the snow as it compressed into ice. Suddenly Momoshiki appeared in front of Ichigo and punched him in the face. Momoshiki's fist went through Ichigo's head, revealing that Momoshiki didn't punch Ichigo but an ice statue.
"Cheap tricks!" Momoshiki yelled as he tried to pull his fist out, only for it to be stuck. Ice began to grow around his right fist. Momoshiki raised his left hand, as it began to glow. He sliced down on his right bicep, cutting off the frozen limb. He jumped back and glared at Ichigo, who took advantage of Momoshiki being distracted and absorbed all the energy that Reitōhitsugi extracted from Kinshiki. Kinshiki's soul was also sent to Hell.
"You are next," Ichigo said as Reitōhitsugi shattered into powdered snow. Momoshiki's right arm finished regenerating itself. He gathered a large ball of chakra and pointed it at Ichigo.
"DIE!" Momoshiki shouted as he fired his attack. The large ball of chakra flew towards Ichigo. As the attack flew toward Ichigo, the ball of chakra began to shrink.
"What… what is happening?" Momoshiki thought as he watched his attack continue to shrink. By the time it reached Ichigo, the ball of chakra was the size of a fist. The attack hit Ichigo, barely injuring him. Suddenly Kaguya appeared beside Ichigo, but she was not alone. He could see a baby in Kaguya's arms.
"Kaguya, why do you have a baby in your arms?" Ichigo asked.
"She is my little sister, who was born from my mother. She hasn't been tainted by the Ōtsutsuki ideology," Kaguya replied.
"Did you take everything that you need?" Ichigo asked.
"I did," Kaguya replied.
"You BITCH!" Momoshiki yelled. Kaguya looked at Momoshiki.
"Hello, little brother," Kaguya said. She quickly opened a portal and escaped.
"You aren't escaping me!" Momoshiki yelled. Before Momoshiki could follow Kaguya, Ichigo fired a Hakuren at Momoshiki. He was forced to jump to the side, avoiding the attack. Momoshiki looked to see Kaguya had already escaped. "DAMN IT!" Momoshiki yelled as he unleashed his chakra. The force blew most of the snow back. Ichigo watched to see Momoshiki had transformed. His sclerae turned black while his irises turned white. White markings appeared under his eyes. His pale skin turned dark red. Claws grew out of his hands. His horns grew larger and gained sharpened ends.
"Looks like it's time to start phase two," Ichigo said as he held Shirayuki in front of him, his blade pointing toward the sky.
"Are you ready, Shirayuki?" Ichigo asked.
"I am." She replied.
"Chōzetsukai!" Ichigo and Shirayuki said simultaneously. Suddenly there was a massive explosion of icy reiatsu, causing the blizzard to return, much stronger than before. In the process, Ichigo could feel himself being forcibly pulled into his mindscape.
Scene Change: Mindscape
Ichigo opened his eyes to see he was standing in a snow-covered field. Ichigo looked around and could only see snow. In the distance, he could see a beautiful pale-skinned woman walking towards him. She wore a white Tsunokakushi decorated with flowers made of ice crystals and silver and lavender crystal hairpins. Ichigo could see pale lavender hair peaking underneath the Tsunokakushi. She wore a set of silver and lavender crystal earrings and necklace that matched with each other and the hairpins. She wore a Uchikake [Outer Robe] that was primarily snowy white with delicate lavender embroidery of snowflakes and winter flowers. Underneath the Uchikake were the many layers of Junihitoe [Under Robes]. Ichigo could see various shades of blue, lavender, and silver peeking through. A shimmering white obi with silver intricately embroidered was wrapped around her waist. As she walked, Ichigo could see she wore white tabi socks and delicate silver Zori sandals. Ichigo was mesmerized by her beauty. Eventually, she stood in front of Ichigo.
"Hello, my dear," She said.
"Shi-" Ichigo said, only for her to place her finger on Ichigo's lips, silencing him.
"My dear, you are rather underdressed for our ceremony," She interupted. Ichigo looked down to see he wore the same outfit that appears when he uses Shirayuki's Bankai. "Let me help you change," She said. Ichigo's outfit was disintegrated into lavender, white, and silver reishi before reforming into a new outfit. She waved her hand as a large piece of reflective ice appeared in front of Ichigo. "Now we match." The first thing he noticed was his eyes. They had once again changed. The sclera of his eyes turned galaxy-patterned, and his irises turned bright blue with silver five-pointed ice flowers on top of each other. Ichigo's long white hair is styled back neatly. Ichigo now wore a matching deep blue kimono and hakama. Both of them had silver embroidery of snowflakes and frost patterns on the sleeves and hems. A shimmering white obi with silver intricate embroidery was wrapped around his waist. A silver haori with elaborate embroidery depicting a snowy landscape was worn on top of his haori. On his feet were also a pair of white tabi socks and a male version of the silver Zori sandals.
"Shi-" Ichigo said, only for her to place her finger on Ichigo's lips again.
"Now, dance with me," She said as she gently grabbed Ichigo's hand. They began to dance together. As they danced, Ichigo could feel something different about the dance they were doing. Each step they took was elegant yet commanding. Each movement was precise and sharp. Ichigo quickly lost track of time. Soon the dance ended as she pulled Ichigo into a long kiss. "Now say my name, my dear," She said.
"Shirayuki Jotei [Empress Shirayuki]," Ichigo said. She smiled at Ichigo.
"Correct, my Kōtei." She said as she kissed Ichigo again. As they parted, Ichigo could feel himself being ejected out of his mindscape.
Scene Change: Ōtsutsuki Home World
All the white icy reiatsu dissipated to reveal Ichigo. He wore the same outfit as he did in his mindscape. In his hand was a new katana. The katana's entire length was about 160 cm. The blade was entirely white. Along the Hamon, there were swirls reminiscent of ice crystals. The tsuba was two five-pointed ice flowers on top of each other. The hilt was wrapped in white silk with a lavender pommel and fushi.
"Reitō Kokū no Eien no Shihai-sha, Shirayuki Jotei [Empress Shirayuki, The Eternal Ruler of the Frozen Void]," Ichigo said.
"That's it?" Momoshiki asked. "Just an outfit change?" Ichigo looked at Momoshiki.
"Reitō Kokū no Fubuki [Frozen Void Snowstorm]," Ichigo said. The snow began to fall again. Unlike the white snow from before, this one was silvery white snow.
"More snow?" Momoshiki asked as he charged at Ichigo.
"Tōketsu sa Reta Jigen [Frozen Dimension]." A silver wave of reiatsu shot out of Ichigo. Momoshiki sensed the incoming energy as he stopped his attack. But the wave of reiatsu harmlessly phased through him.
"If you aren't going to attack me, then allow me!" Momoshiki yelled. Red chakra gathered around his hands and forearms. The chakra solidified, resembling bear arms. He charged towards Ichigo.
"Reitō Kokū no Haze [Winds of the Frozen Void]," Ichigo said as he swung his zanpakutō down. A silver crescent shape that reminded Ichigo of his Getsuga Tenshō flew out. Momoshiki's eyes widened as he tried to use Yomotsu Hirasaka to escape, only for it to not work. Momoshiki fired the chakra bear claws at Reitō Kokū no Haze as he jumped away. The two attacks collided causing an explosion that sent snow flying. As the explosion settled, Momoshiki looked around trying to find Ichigo.
"Where did that bastard go?" He thought as he tried to use the Byakugan, only to see Ichigo's chakra all around him. Momoshiki quickly turned his Byakugan off. "To think the snow he summoned would make it harder for me to locate him… In that case, let's remove all the snow." Momoshiki began to gather more chakra, creating an even larger ball of chakra. Suddenly he could feel something hanging on his body, draining his chakra. Momoshiki shook his body, trying to shake off the feeling, but it made the feeling even worse. He could feel himself getting colder. He used his Byakugan to try and see what was going on. His eyes widened as he could see humanoid creatures clinging to his body and absorbing his chakra. He spotted a few more of these creatures touching the ball of chakra he prepared to attack Ichigo with. They were also absorbing the chakra from the ball. "What the fuck are these things?" He thought as he broke free from their grasp and fired the chakra ball at the humanoid creatures. The ball of chakra exploded, though the explosion was much weaker than before. The humanoid creatures jumped out of the explosion towards Momoshiki. He quickly dodged them and tried to fight back.
Unbeknownst to him, more of these creatures formed from the snow beneath him and grabbed his legs. Momoshiki lost his balance as he tried to dodge their attack, causing him to fall to the ground. The creatures piled on him and began to drain him of his chakra and heat.
"Reitō Kokū no Yūrei [Phantom of the Frozen Void], move aside but keep him pinned down," Ichigo said. Some of the Reitō Kokū no Yūrei moved aside, revealing Ichigo looking at him. "Goodbye, Momoshiki," Ichigo said as he stabbed his zanpakutō into Momoshiki's chest.
"Reitō Kokū no Tamashī no Noroi [Soul Curse of the Frozen Void]." Lavender chains began to form on the side of Ichigo's zanpakutō. Those chains moved down to Momoshiki's body. Suddenly he felt an eerie cold feeling.
"RAHAHAAH!" Momoshiki yelled in pain as he struggled to move. He could feel his soul beginning to freeze as it slowly permeated outwards. Ichigo stared at Momoshiki as his body and soul began to freeze. Soon, Momoshiki was completely frozen. Ichigo pulled his zanpakutō out of Momoshiki's body. As he did so, Momoshiki's frozen soul easily slipped out, as if Ichigo took a frozen popsicle out of its mold. Ichigo summoned a portal to Hell and threw the frozen soul into Hell.
"How many more people are there?" Ichigo thought to himself. No one from his mindscape replied to him. Ichigo closed his eyes and concentrated on the Reitō Kokū no Fubuki [Frozen Void Snowstorm]. He was able to see everything being covered by it. He noticed a large barrier that was able to protect itself against the effects of Reitō Kokū no Fubuki by allowing the snowstorm to phase through it as if there was nothing there.
"This looks like a palace," Ichigo thought. "It seems like the palace is normally separated into another dimension, which is why it wasn't affected by Tōketsu sa Reta Jigen." Ichigo pointed his zanpakutō in front of the barrier.
"Reitō Kokū," Ichigo began as he pulled his arm back as if he were preparing to stab something. "no Handan," he said as he stabbed his zanpakutō forward. A wave of silvery white energy was unleashed in front of Ichigo. Reitō Kokū no Handan [Judgement of the Frozen Void] briefly collided with the barrier. Ichigo watched as his attack phased through the barrier, hitting the frozen snow on the other side. He continued the attack. It didn't take long before the barrier shattered. Ichigo stopped Reitō Kokū no Handan as Reitō Kokū no Fubuki moved towards the palace. In the distance, Ichigo could see people running out of the palace. He noticed they all had the Byakugan.
"They must be Ōtsutsuki Clan Vassals," Ichigo thought to himself. They stood around the palace and began to blow the Reitō Kokū no Fubuki away. As this happened, another group charged towards Ichigo.
"Die, monster!" one of them shouted.
"Reitō Kokū no Yūutsuna Shinjitsu [Melancholy Truth of the Frozen Void]," Ichigo cast as the Reitō Kokū no Fubuki blew in. Some of the weaker vassals fell to their knees and curled themselves into balls. Others just stood there, waiting for the inevitable.
"Your tricks will not work on us!" another vassal, who resisted the effects of Reitō Kokū no Yūutsuna Shinjitsu, shouted. Ichigo pointed his zanpakutō up in the air.
"Reitō Kokū no Tsurara no Yari [Icicle Spear of the Frozen Void]." Silvery white spears appeared around Ichigo. They were five feet (1.524 meters) long and one inch (25.4 mm) wide. All of them were pointed at the attackers. "Reitō Kokū no Tamashī no Noroi." Lavender chains snaked themselves around the Reitō Kokū no Tsurara no Yari. "Kill them," Ichigo said as he swung his sword down. The Reitō Kokū no Tsurara no Yari were launched towards the vassals. All of them formed different kinds of weapons to combat the onslaught of Reitō Kokū no Tsurara no Yari. Some of them were able to break the spears. Others were pierced by the spears, their souls frozen by the effects of Reitō Kokū no Tamashī no Noroi. Ichigo fired more cursed Reitō Kokū no Tsurara no Yari as he calmly walked towards the palace. Nothing they could do stopped him. It didn't take long before Ichigo arrived in the throne room, where Lord Shibai sat. He was a slim man with long flowing hair reaching his lower back and wore black robes. His horns curved upward like a crown above his head. He had the Byakugan in both of his eyes and the Rinne Sharingan on his forehead.
"So, you're the one who dared to attack the Ōtsutsuki Clan," he said.
"Reitō Kokū no Haze," Ichigo said as he swung his zanpakutō down. A silver colored crescent shape attack flew towards Lord Shibai. An invisible force collided with Reitō Kokū no Haze.
"Hm… To think his attack can fight back against Shinra Tensei," Lord Shibai thought to himself.
"Reitō Kokū no Handan," Ichigo said as he stabbed his zanpakutō forward. A wave of silvery white energy was unleashed towards Lord Shibai. He quickly used Shinra Tensei to delay the attack, giving him enough time to dodge. Reitō Kokū no Handan covered his throne and broke all the walls behind him, allowing the Reitō Kokū no Yuki [Frozen Void Snow] to enter the room. Lord Shibai immediately sensed the decrease in temperature. Ichigo could see the Reitō Kokū no Yūrei silently moving towards Lord Shibai.
"Let's try this." Lord Shibai said as he summoned two creatures. They had dragon heads but with deer antlers on a horse's body. Their bodies were covered in golden scales. They had the regular Rinnegan eyes.
"Kirin," Ichigo said, recognizing the summoned creature.
"Attack." Lord Shibai ordered. The Kirins let out a cry that was a mix of a dragon's roar and a horse's neigh before charging at Ichigo. Ichigo let go of his zanpakutō, which floated in the air, and grabbed both of the Kirins by their snouts. Suddenly, ice began to form there. Ichigo threw them at Lord Shibai, who used Shinra Tensei to stop them from crashing into him. The ice continued to freeze their bodies. In a few moments, they were completely frozen.
"I didn't expect Reitō Kokū no Zankoku-sa [Cruelty of the Frozen Void] to work that fast," Ichigo thought. "I wonder if I can use Reitō Kokū no Jōtei [Creator of the Frozen Void] on them." He activated Reitō Kokū no Jōtei. He watched as the frozen Kirins began to stand back up. "Attack." The frozen Kirins lunged at Lord Shibai. He used Shinra Tensei to stop them in midair before crushing them. Broken frozen pieces littered the field. Suddenly, Lord Shibai felt something grab his arms. He used the Byakugan to see ghoulish creatures clinging on his body and forcibly draining his chakra. He used Shinra Tensei to knock the ones on his body off, but more Reitō Kokū no Yūrei tried to grab him. Ichigo pointed his zanpakutō at the distracted Lord Shibai.
"Reitō Kokū no Handan," Ichigo said as he stabbed his sword forward. Another wave of silvery white energy was unleashed towards Lord Shibai. His eyes widened as he used Shinra Tensei to block the attack. As this happened, more Reitō Kokū no Yūrei grabbed his body and began to drain his chakra.
"Damn it," Lord Shibai thought to himself as he began to feel cold. He forced his hands into a hand seal. Suddenly, there was a massive explosion, blowing all the Reitō Kokū no Yūrei away. Ichigo stopped Reitō Kokū no Handan to see what happened. A gigantic creature broke the building as it stood. He was over 50 meters (164.04 feet) tall. He retained his old horns, which curved upward like a crown above his head. He gained another set of horns slightly under the first set, but pointed outwards like a set of bull horns. He now had two sets of Byakugan eyes and the Rinne Sharingan on his forehead between the bull horns. The majority of his body was white. His body became extremely muscular. Large purplish-gray cylindrical tubes formed on his elbows, which could be used as piston-like rams. He gained five large, black cylindrical tubes on his back about half the length of the tubes on his elbows. He had six black rounded nodules along the length of his forearms. His feet also grew thicker and resembled elephant-like legs with three large toes, which extended backward from the front to the back of the leg.
"Ten no Hoshi Kurasshā [Celestial Stars Crusher]!" Lord Shibai yelled as his right hand glowed purple and tried to punch Ichigo.
"Itenai Sekai no Kōtta Hansha [Frozen Reflection of the Unfrozen World]," Ichigo said as he was enveloped in a clear sphere. Lord Shibai's fist phased through the sphere as if it was not there in the first place.
"You are not going to escape me!" Lord Shibai yelled. His other fist glowed purple and began to punch Itenai Sekai no Kōtta Hansha.
"Reitō Kokū no Yūwaku [Temptation of the Frozen Void]." Ichigo cast an illusion of himself still in the sphere. The real Ichigo moved away to a safe distance. He made Lord Shibai see that he broke the sphere and punched Ichigo.
"Finally!" Lord Shibai yelled. Ichigo used Reitō Kokū no Jōtei [Creator of the Frozen Void] to create a copy of himself that also had Reitō Kokū no Zankoku-sa applied to it. Ichigo watched as Lord Shibai grabbed the copy. He was immediately affected by Reitō Kokū no Zankoku-sa, not that he could tell under the effects of Reitō Kokū no Yūwaku.
"Reitō Kokū no Hakuteiken [White Imperial Swords of the Frozen Void]," Ichigo said as he dropped his sword straight down. The sword phased into the snow. Forty-two copies of Ichigo's sword rose out of the snow. They all stood 15 meters (49.21 feet) tall. With a single thought, all the swords rose in the air. All of them aimed at Lord Shibai, who was monologuing to the ice doll. "Kill," Ichigo said. Five swords stabbed Lord Shibai in the head, each one aimed at one of his eyes, while the fifth one stabbed through his mouth. The other thirty-seven swords pierced through Lord Shibai's body. The pain from the sudden attacks broke the illusion. Lord Shibai collapsed on the ground. His life and chakra were quickly drained out of him, causing him to shrink down to his original form. Ichigo pulled his freezing soul and threw him into Hell. Ichigo also made sure to send the other souls to Hell.
"That should be everyone," Ichigo thought as he used Reitō Kokū no Fubuki to scan the entire planet. Everything was covered by the silvery white snow. Ichigo took a deep breath as he pulled all the silvery white snow to him. He could feel his energy reserves recovering and even growing as his body absorbed the silvery white snow. As this happened, the frozen bodies of the slaves moved towards him.
"Forgot about them," Ichigo thought. He moved the frozen slaves aside as he continued to absorb all the energy. Ichigo looked to see thirty frozen slaves. He began to slowly thaw them. Ichigo was careful with the thawing process, making sure that they didn't suffer any damage from the freezing. It took an hour, but all of them were thawed out and relatively unharmed. Ichigo finally sealed Reitō Kokū no Eien no Shihai-sha, Shirayuki Jotei. The zanpakutō returned to its sealed state, which Ichigo immediately sent to his mindscape. As soon as he did, a black portal opened, and Kaguya stepped out. All the slaves looked at her in shock.
"You didn't kill them?" Kaguya asked as soon as she saw them.
"I was able to destroy the Kāma that was placed on their body and made sure none of their souls escaped," Ichigo explained.
"I see…" Kaguya said. "So, what happens now?"
"This planet is lifeless now," Ichigo said. "You and the survivors should move to a new planet and try to restart there."
"Can we return to Earth?" Kaguya asked.
"One of my remaining tasks is to free the deities that your vassal sealed away. They would not let you remain on Earth."
"Can I come with you to your world?" she asked.
"What do you guys think?" Ichigo asked.
"The only question I would have is if she retains her ability to use Chakra and if so, will she be able to generate Chakra by herself or still need to create Chakra Fruit to have Chakra," Yhwach said.
"According to Hagoromo, the human body was capable of generating Chakra by itself. It needed him to provide the initial spark and the initial Chakra," Hōgyoku added.
"Kaguya, are you able to produce Chakra by yourself or do you need to eat Chakra Fruit to restore your Chakra?" Ichigo asked.
"Hm… before it was not possible," Kaguya replied.
"But it's different now?" Ichigo asked.
"Indeed," Kaguya replied. "When Black Zetsu used Madara Uchiha's enhanced body, it not only gave me the ability to produce my own Chakra, but it also granted me the ability to harness natural energy and to enter Sage Mode." Ichigo watched as black lines began to go around her eyes before extending to her ears. Another black line also wrapped itself around her Rinne-Sharingan and it curved upwards, making it resemble an anchor. Kaguya left her Sage Mode.
"What about the others?" Ichigo asked.
"None of them were given any Chakra Fruit. Instead, they were given a Chītsutsuki Fruit (2)."
"The Chītsutsuki Fruit?" Ichigo asked.
"Correct. When the Ōtsutsuki clan began its invasion and began to capture slaves, we needed a way to make them biologically similar to us. Lord Taketori (3) created the Chītsutsuki Fruit. When the Chītsutsuki Fruit is eaten it changes their biology to be compatible with the Ōtsutsuki clan."
"Sure… I guess?" Ichigo said.
"Great." Kaguya and the former slaves salvaged anything that they could from the remaining buildings and stored them in one of Kaguya's pocket dimension. Afterward, the slaves entered her pocket dimension. "So, what now?" she asked.
"Once we return to Earth, you'll free the people that you captured and free the Tailed Beasts. Once that is all done, I will deal with the Gods," Ichigo said.
"Ok," Kaguya replied as she opened her black portal. They stepped into the portal together.
Scene Change: Earth
Ichigo and Kaguya appeared back on Earth to see the gigantic Chakra Tree. She began to free all the people from the Chakra Tree. As she did that, Ichigo released everyone that was in Haō Zaimushō. Ichigo received strange looks from Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, Kakashi, and the rest of the undead Kage. Ichigo turned to his students.
"We'll talk after this," Ichigo said. They nodded their heads and waited for Ichigo. Ichigo turned to the first Hokage.
"Allow me to return you to the afterlife," Hashirama chuckled.
"Thank you. Hopefully, I don't come back here," Hashirama replied.
"The balance will be restored," Ichigo said as he tapped Kokugatsu's hilt on Hashirama's forehead. A pair of kanjis could be seen on Hashirama's forehead. The kanjis glowed as Hashirama's physical body began to turn into dust, freeing his soul from the body. Hashirama's soul returned to the afterlife. Ichigo walked to the second Hokage.
"I'm very close to sending you to eternal damnation for creating the Impure World Reincarnation Jutsu."
"I assume that's where Orochimaru is at?" Tobirama asked.
"He is," Ichigo replied. Tobirama sighed.
"I will accept my fate," Tobirama said as he took off his happuri, ready to accept his punishment.
"How does it feel to be a victim of your jutsu?" Ichigo asked.
"Horrible," Tobirama admitted. "My will is constantly being dominated by Orochimaru. I was forced to attack the village that I died for. Forced to attack my own junior. If I knew this is what it felt like, I would have never created the Impure World Reincarnation Jutsu."
"Good," Ichigo said as he tapped Kokugatsu's hilt on Tobirama's forehead. Ichigo could see Tobirama's surprised face. "You are honest about your feelings about the Jutsu. I could sense the regret you feel in your words."
"Thank you," Tobirama said as his soul left his body. Ichigo performed Konsō on the third and fourth Hokage, thanking them for their effort. Ichigo walked over to his students. He noticed that Konan had disappeared. Setsura silently handed Ichigo a sheet of paper.
"Thank you for helping me," Konan wrote. The sheet of paper incinerated itself. The ashes casually flew away from Ichigo.
"Master, what you said true?" Hinata asked.
"It is," Ichigo replied.
"So, you're planning on leaving once the job is done?" Guren asked.
"I am," Ichigo confirmed.
"Can we come with you?" Chino asked. Ichigo could see Guren, Setsura, and Tenten looking at Ichigo, waiting for his reply.
"If that is what you wish," Ichigo said. Ichigo looked at Hinata and Yugito.
"Do you two wish to join me as well?"
"I do," Hinata said. "But can we wait till everyone is buried?" She asked. Yugito looked at Ichigo as well.
"It is much easier to disappear now. We can say that everyone was a victim of having their chakra drained from Kaguya," Ichigo explained.
"That makes sense," Yugito said. Kaguya appeared behind Ichigo.
"I'm ready to release the Tailed Beasts," she said. She pointed her hand at the Chakra Tree. With a flick of her wrist, all Nine-Tailed Beasts were released. Matatabi, Chōmei, and Kurama returned to their respective jinchūriki. Shukaku, Isobu, Son Gokū, Hyouka, Kokuō, and Gyūki appeared in front of them.
"For Shukaku and Gyūki, your previous jinchūriki are still alive. Do you two want to return to them?"
"I do," Gyūki replied.
"So do I," Shukaku replied.
"Once your jinchūriki are freed, you will be resealed into them," Ichigo said. He turned to the other Tailed Beasts. "I'll give you three options," Ichigo raised his first finger, "Hide from the shinobi until they capture you and seal you in a jinchūriki of their choice." Ichigo raised his second finger. "Choose one of my students to be your jinchūriki."
"And the third option?" Son Gokū growled.
"The third option is that I give you a body to use," Ichigo said.
"What are the pros and cons of each option?" Kokuō asked.
"For the first option, you will have the ability to roam in your transformed state, but you will have to be careful of the Shinobi who will try and recapture you." Ichigo began. "The second option will allow you to choose one of my students as your jinchūriki." Suddenly Chōmei appeared.
"Being one of his student's jinchūriki is not bad," Chōmei said. Matatabi appeared right after.
"While Yugito was not his student in the beginning both of us had grown stronger than before," Matatabi added.
"And if we want to be alone?" Shukaku asked.
"With the third option, you can have your own human body to inhabit but they can just remove you from the body and then seal you afterward," Ichigo said.
"Who would you pair me up with?" Son Gokū asked.
"Hinata," Ichigo called. Hinata stepped forward. She introduced herself and her abilities to Son Gokū. Son Gokū moved one of its tails forward in front of her.
"Hit my hand with everything you got." He said.
"Got it," Hinata said as she stood in front of the hand. She took a deep breath before she used Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms, Eight Trigrams Vacuum Palm, Gentle Step Twin Lion Fists, Hakai-Ryoku: Implosion Fist, Hakai-Ryoku: Implosion Kick, Shikō-Ryoku: Oppressive Fist, and Shikō-Ryoku: Oppressive Kick. By the time Hinata finished she was slightly tired. Son Gokū nodded his head.
"I see," Son Gokū said. "Child, you have great potential," Son Gokū began "I, Son Gokū, the King of the Sage Monkeys, accept you as my jinchūriki."
"Thank you," Hinata replied.
"For now, both of you will be temporarily bonded," Ichigo explained. "Once both of you trust each other further, we can make a permanent bond."
"Thank you, Master," Hinata said.
"Good idea." Son Gokū replied.
"Anyone else want to choose one of my students as their jinchūriki?" Ichigo asked. Hyouka looked at Setsura, who looked back at her. They stood there in complete silence before they both nodded their heads at the same time. Hyouka and Setsura looked at Ichigo before nodded their heads. "Hyouka decided to have Setsura as her jinchūriki," Ichigo announced. "Does anyone else want one of my students as their jinchūriki?"
"Do you have anyone with unique Nature Releases?" Kokuō asked.
"I do," Ichigo said. "Chino has Blood Release, which is a variation of Water Release, and Guren has Crystal Release, which is a variation of Earth Release," Ichigo said.
"Hm…" Kokuō mumbled thinking about it. "Isobu."
"What Kokuō? Let me sleep." Isobu mumbled.
"You should be the jinchūriki for young Chino," Kokuō suggested.
"Why?" Isobu mumbled.
"While she primarily specializes in her Blood Release, she can also use Water Release and your coral may be useful to her," Kokuō suggested.
"Really?" Isobu replied as he looked at Chino.
"Hi!" Chino shouted waving at Isobu.
"Uh. Hi?" Isobu nervously replied.
"Why does this remind me of the typical shy high school boy attracting the attention of the popular hyperactive high school girl?" Ichigo thought to himself. Chino walked over to Isobu. She used her blood release to launch herself on Isobu's back.
"Let's be partners!" Chino shouted.
"Um…" Isobu mumbled.
"So, you want me?" Guren asked as she walked over to Kokuō.
"I do," Kokuō replied. "Do you only know Crystal Release and Earth Release?"
"I do. Why?" Guren asked.
"From what I've witnessed, I have never encountered Crystal Release," Kokuō admitted. "Do you mind if you show me your Crystal Release?"
"No prob," Guren replied. "Crystal Style: Crystal Spear." Guren said as she clapped her hands together. She moved her hand out as a crystal spear appeared. She took it and handed it to Kokuō, who extended its tail and grabbed the crystal spear.
"Interesting," Kokuō said. "While the initial assessment is correct that this is partially Earth Release it is more towards Sand Release in addition to a bit of Fire Release."
"Wow," Guren said. "Looks like I have more Nature Releases than we thought." Kokuō nodded his head.
"In that case, have we agreed?" Kokuō asked.
"Yeah," Guren replied.
"Ok… I'll join you." Isobu finally said.
"YAY!" Chino shouted.
"Guren will become Kokuō's jinchūriki. Chino will become Isobu's jinchūriki. Setsura will become Hyouka's jinchūriki. Lastly, Hinata will become Son Gokū's jinchūriki." Ichigo said. Everyone nodded their heads. Ichigo quickly bonded his students with their respective Tailed Beasts.
"Everyone has been freed from the Chakra Tree. It will take them a while to wake up." Kaguya said.
"Good." He said as he sent his students and Kaguya into Haō Zaimushō. Ichigo shunpō'ed to Oroshimaru's and Kabuto's location. He could see both of them were fast asleep.
"Kyōka, were you able to use Yomu Kioku on Orochimaru?" Ichigo asked.
"I did," Kyōka replied as she slipped into his shadow. Ichigo used Kokugatsu to kill Orochimaru and Kabuto before throwing them into Hell. Ichigo opened a golden garganta and entered it.
Scene Change: Takamagahara
Ichigo stepped out of the golden garganta to the edge of Takamagahara, where the Ōtsutsuki barrier was in front of him. Ichigo used Nigen-seigan to make it where he wasn't affected by the barrier, allowing him to cross. After he crossed, he noticed a bunch of armored Tengu flying towards him. They landed in front of him.
"Why are you!?" One of the Tengu asked.
"I'm the person who can free you from the barrier," Ichigo replied. The Tengu looked at Ichigo. "I wish to speak to Amaterasu."
"You mortal dare to speak casually about Amaterasu-sama?" Another Tengu said as he drew his sword. Ichigo sighed as he lowered his reiatsu. The entire Takamagahara rumbled from his reiatsu. All the Tengus nearby were embedded into the ground. Other objects too joined them in the ground. Suddenly a golden beam of light shined down in front of Ichigo. The light faded to reveal a beautiful Japanese woman with black hair in red and gold samurai armor. Ichigo let go of his reiatsu. "Thank you." She said.
"I assume you are Amaterasu?" Ichigo asked.
"I am." She replied.
"And you are?" She asked.
"Kurosaki Ichigo." Ichigo said.
"I assume you are here to help us break free from that barrier?" She asked.
"I am," Ichigo replied. "However, I have a few things to say to the pantheon before I start," Ichigo replied.
"How can I trust you?" She asked. Ichigo sighed as he sent Kokugatsu away.
"Let the world witness your rise. Let my allies feel your warmth. Let my foes feel your fury, Ame no Murakumo no Tsurugi!" Ichigo chanted as he active Schrift T: The Taiyō. Ame no Murakumo no Tsurugi appeared in his hands. Amaterasu's eyes widened upon seeing her blade.
"You're not from this universe." She said.
"Correct," Ichigo said.
"If the Amaterasu of your world trusts you with her blade, then I can at last hear what you want to say," Amaterasu said. Ichigo sealed Schrift T: The Taiyō and followed behind her. They soon arrived in a meeting room. Ichigo sat at the end of the table while Amaterasu sat at the head of the table. Beside her were Susanoo and Tsukuyomi. Next to Susanoo was an older woman. She had pale skin and wore black samurai armor with white bones on it. She had demonic red eyes.
"Sis, who's the boy?" Susanoo asked.
"Susanoo don't be rude," Amaterasu replied. "He is our ticket out of here." Everyone looked at him.
"I am Kurosaki Ichigo. I was initially sent here to investigate the abnormalities in this Universe." Ichigo began.
"Who tasked you to investigate these abnormalities?" Tsukuyomi asked.
"Death, itself," Ichigo replied as he looked at the other woman. "You can verify what I am saying, right Izanami?" Izanami chuckled.
"So, they discovered me not doing my job and sent a kid to investigate," Izanami said.
"They did," Ichigo replied. "And I had to pick up all the slack your disappearance caused."
"Oh? What happened?" Izanami asked, sounding curious.
"Well, no one was processing all the souls who died, people were able to pull the souls from Yomi and used them to try to take over the world."
"I…see…" Izanami said. "Are they dead?"
"They have been sent to Hell," Ichigo said. Izanami looked at Ichigo for a few seconds.
"Oh…" Izanami chuckled. "We need to talk after this."
"Ok," Ichigo said. "Anyways an alien force invaded Earth. During the time they occupied Earth, the people on Earth were given the ability to use ninjutsu."
"What can they exactly do?" Amaterasu asked.
"They can shoot fireballs, streams of water, or gusts of wind from their mouth. Shoot lightning bolts from their hands. Create giant walls of earth." Ichigo said. These are some of the examples."
"What happened to the alien forces?" Susanoo asked.
"I took care of the alien force on Earth. Afterward, I invaded the alien's home world and slaughtered them." Ichigo calmly replied.
"Is this true?" Tsukuyomi asked.
"What do you think?" Ichigo replied as he stared at Tsukuyomi.
"I see…" Amaterasu said. "So why haven't you broken the barrier yet?"
"I don't want all of you to start a purge to get rid of those who can use Chakra," Ichigo said.
"We wouldn't do that," Susanoo denied.
"Oh really?" Ichigo replied as he stared at Susanoo.
"Well… I might not," Susanoo added.
"How are we going to reassure you that we're going to purge the world of ninjutsu?" Amaterasu asked.
"All of you swearing this oath to the Will of the World," Ichigo said. He summoned a piece of paper from his mindscape and slid it to Tsukuyomi, who handed it to Amaterasu. She silently read the contract.
"We agree to the terms," Amaterasu replied as she stood up. "I, Amaterasu Ōmikami, Goddess of the Sun and the Universe; and one of the rulers of the heavenly realm Takamagahara," She began to unleash her divine powers. "Swear to the Will of the planet, that I, my subordinates, or believers will harm the shinobi of Earth unless the shinobi of Earth attempt to harm us or capture us." Suddenly they heard a monotone voice.
"I, the Will of the Planet have heard the oath made by Amaterasu Ōmikami. I shall accept her oath," The Will of the Planet replied. A white chain wrapped around Amaterasu before being absorbed into her.
"Who is next?" Amaterasu asked. Susanoo, Tsukuyomi, and Izanami repeated the oath and the Will of the Planet replied. Amaterasu looked at Ichigo. "We have finished our part," She said.
"We'll be moving to the edge of the dimensional barrier," Ichigo said as he shunpō'ed away. All the Gods followed behind him. They exited Takamagahara and stopped in front of the barrier. Ichigo activated Schrift H: The Hakaimono. He placed his hand on the barrier.
"Internal Destruction," Ichigo said as he forced his destructive reiatsu into the barrier. Red cracks began to appear on the translucent barrier from where Ichigo placed his hands. In a few minutes, the entire barrier was covered in red cracks. Ichigo removed his hands from the barrier. Then he punched the barrier, finally shattering it. Amaterasu pulled out her sword and stabbed it in the middle of the air. She turned her sword as if she was turning a key. A set of Shōji doors appeared in front of her.
"It worked," She said. "IT WORKED!" Everyone began to cheer as they ran off to spread the news to their subordinates.
"Can we now have that private word?" Izanami asked.
"Sure," Ichigo said. Izanami pulled out a katana from her robes. She opened her own set of Shōji doors. Ichigo followed Izanami through the Shōji doors.
Scene Change: Yomi
Ichigo and Izanami appeared in a clean sitting room with dimmed lights.
"So, what will you tell Death?" Izanami asked.
"The truth," Ichigo said. "You and your Pantheon were captured in a trap orchestrated by another pantheon."
"Anything important that I need to know about?" Izanami asked.
"A few things. The first is that another rogue God contracted a shinobi and made him his avatar."
"That's bad," Izanami admitted.
"Yomi's currently a mess. None of the souls in Yomi have entered the reincarnation cycle. The Shinobi have developed a jutsu to resurrect the dead." Izanami let out a deep sigh. "And a few other shinobi tried to be immortal, including the shinobi that contracted with a rogue God."
"How much have you helped me?" Izanami asked.
"The shinobi who used the resurrection jutsu and the shinobi trying to be immortal are in Hell," Ichigo said.
"Thank you for your help," Izanami replied. "Were you able to destroy all knowledge of the techniques?"
"To the best of my ability," Ichigo admitted.
"Thank you," Izanami replied. "I assume you are in a hurry to return to your universe?"
"I am," Ichigo admitted. Izanami cracked a smile.
"Then allow me to give you a reward for all your help." Izanami stood up and stepped out of the room. A few minutes later, Izanami returned with two katanas. She placed them on the table. Both katanas were about 162 cm (5.315 feet) long. The first katana was in a black sheath with golden clouds. Ichigo could see the tsuba was mostly golden with three black tomoe. The handle was black with dark purple cord wrap. The second katana was also in a black sheath but with golden landscapes. Ichigo could see the tsuba was also mostly golden but with three black slightly curved lines, which spread in a rip-like pattern. The handle was black with dark purple cord wrap. "I apologize for the delay."
"No worry," Ichigo replied.
"I assume you're aware of when my ex-husband, Izanagi entered Yomi?" Izanami asked.
"I am," Ichigo replied.
"Good," Izanami said. "When Izanagi entered Yomi and found me, he was horrified at how savage I looked. For you see, Yomi used to be a lawless dimension where it is survival of fitness. You needed to devour your fallen enemy to regain your strength. Their bones were used to make weapons to fight other souls. When Izanagi found me, I had just finished eating my prey. Izanagi seeing me in that state was horrified and ran. I knew Izanagi didn't die yet so I cased him down since I knew he found a way into Yomi. I had a makeshift axe in my hand and threw it at him to stop him. He used Ame-no-Nuboko to block it. We began to fight. In the conflict, Izanagi threw Ame-no-Nuboko at me and when I caught the spear, it exploded. This allowed him to escape Yomi. In my hands were the two broken pieces of Ame-no-Nuboko. With a few of a few other spirits, I reforged the broken Ame-no-Nuboko into two katanas. The added materials from Yomi caused the katanas to be both divine and demonic." Izanagi explained. Ichigo stood up and picked up the first katana and carefully unsheathed it. He could see the blade was fully black with a dark purple flame-like pattern along the edge of the blade. "That is the Ten no Noroi ken [Heavenly Cursed Sword]." Ichigo sheathed Ten no Noroi ken and placed it back on the table. Ichigo picked up the other katana and unsheathed it. The blade was also black, but it had a dark blue wave-like pattern along the edge of the blade. "That is Chi no Noroi ken [Earthly Cursed Sword]." Ichigo sheathed Chi no Noroi ken and placed it back on the table. Izanagi unsheathed Ten no Noroi ken and Chi no Noroi ken. "If you place Ten no Noroi ken and Chi no Noroi ken together like this," Izanami pointed their blades in different directions but had the pommels together. Suddenly black and golden light engulfed both weapons. The light died down to reveal a double-headed naginata with one long black handle.
"And this is?" Ichigo asked.
"Owari no Noroi ken [Cursed Sword of the End]," Izanagi said as she swirled the sword in her hands. She soon unfused Owari no Noroi ken and placed Ten no Noroi ken and Chi no Noroi ken back in their sheath. "We offer you these katanas as a thank you for your help," Izanami said as she bowed in front of Ichigo. Ichigo sighed as he took Ten no Noroi ken and Chi no Noroi ken.
"I accept the gifts," Ichigo said as he sent them to his mindscape. He summoned the white stick and broke it, sending him away from this universe.

Chapter 95
The Tsunokakushi traditional headdress is worn by brides in Shinto wedding ceremonies in Japan. There is no translation to English for this word.
Ōtsutsuki roughly means 'Big Bamboo Tree'. So, I wanted to make a 'Small Bamboo Tree' and the world small is Chīsai. Chīsaitsutsuki sounds like a mouthful, so I shorten it down to Chītsutsuki.
Supposedly the name of the old farmer who raised Kaguya is Taketori no Okina from the Tale of the Bamboo Cutter.
