Chapter 4: Please Excuse the Delay: The Road to Redemption is a Work in Progress
Felix knocked twice on the large, ornate doors of the Hazbin Hotel, his ears twitching as he peeked inside through the small crack the door made as it creaked open and he stepped into the empty lobby.
The hotel's interior was in a state of disrepair, a stark contrast to the grandiose design it once boasted. Wooden boards covered shattered windows, some sloppily nailed in place while others barely clung to their frames. Furniture in the lobby was strewn about and several large wooden crates sat unopened, their contents a mystery. The grand chandelier above flickered weakly, casting eerie shadows across the crimson-carpeted floor.
Toward the far end of the room, the bar stood as the most distinct part of the establishment with skeleton motifs adorning the shelves, intertwined with coiling snakes and scattered bones. Card suits were etched into the wooden countertops, while dim candles flickered between bottles of questionable liquor. Unlike the rest of the lobby, the bar's section had glowing green wooden walls instead of the deep red wallpaper that covered most of the hotel, giving it an almost spectral ambiance.
Despite the state of disrepair, the hotel's original grandeur still lingered beneath the decay. Stained glass windows, cracked but still vibrant, allowed distorted beams of light to filter in, casting colorful patterns on the ruined furniture. Lavish, gold-trimmed décor remained in patches where dust had yet to claim it entirely.
"Hello?" Felix called out, his voice breaking the eerie silence, his yellow eyes scanning the room. He frowned, his sharp gaze darting around for any sign of movement. "Weird," he muttered to himself, venturing further into the empty space.
Just as he was about to call out again, a voice crackled to life, unnervingly smooth but distorted, like it was coming through an old radio. "A new guest, I see."
Felix's fur bristled as every instinct in his body screamed danger. Before he could think, his revolver was drawn, aimed directly between the eyes of a tall, sharp-dressed, red-headed demon with a devilish smile plastered across his face.
The demon's devilish smile didn't falter as he leaned casually on his ornate staff, unfazed by the weapon pointed at his face. "How do you do?" his crimson eyes gleaming with amusement, his grin radiating confidence and menace in equal measure.
"Fuck, that's a first," Felix muttered, his voice low but genuinely shaken.
The demon tilted his head slightly, curiosity gleaming in his unnervingly glowing eyes. "The first? The first what if I may ask?"
Felix let out a shaky breath, his tail flicking nervously. "The first time I've actually been afraid for my life," Felix admitted with a nervous smile, his grip tightening slightly on the revolver.
"Why, thank you! Quite the honour," the demon said with mock politeness, sounding genuinely delighted, his grin curling higher as if he thrived on the reaction.
Felix gave a humourless chuckle, still keeping the gun trained on him. "I may be new here, but I can tell you're an overlord," he said, his tone carefully measured.
"How observant of you," the demon remarked, beginning to stroll casually around Felix, his staff spinning lightly in his hand. Felix turned as he moved, keeping the revolver trained on him, not daring to take his eyes off the demon for even a second. "Most can't tell from a glance. Met one already, have you?"
"Pretty much," Felix replied, his tail flicking behind him. "But Camilla wasn't anywhere near as unnerving as you."
The demon's eyes lit up with recognition, and his grin turned into a pleased smirk, letting out a chuckle that echoed like distorted laughter from a phonograph. "Ah, Miss Carmine! How delightful. It's been quite some time since I last spoke to her. How is she?"
Felix gave a half-smirk, his instincts screaming to stay on guard. "She's good, I guess. Been keeping herself busy."
"Indeed," the demon said with a chuckle as he stopped his pacing, planting the base of his staff firmly on the ground as he leaned on it, his grin turning sly. "She's a delightful little enigma, isn't she? So focused, so driven. But enough about her. What brings you to the hotel?"
Felix shrugged slightly, his revolver still steady in his grip. "Saw a commercial about the place," he said casually, though his tail flicked behind him, betraying his wariness. "Seemed entertaining. Figured I'd stop by, check it out for myself. Needed a new spot to crash anyway."
The demon's crimson eyes widened with delight, his devilish grin stretching impossibly wide. "Ah! The commercial!" he exclaimed, his voice crackling with excitement like an overcharged radio signal. "Oh, how marvellous! I knew comedy was the way to go!"
Before Felix could respond, the demon stepped closer, invaded his personal space, his tall frame looming over Felix as he leaned in uncomfortably close. "I told Charlie it's what the hotel needed, but does she ever listen? Nooo. 'Alastor, the tone is off,' she says. 'It's about letting sinners know we're trying to help them,' she says! But look at you! A viewer turned visitor!" the demon—now clearly identifying himself as Alastor—crackled with delight, as though his excitement was being amplified through a vintage radio. Felix instinctively stepped back, his fur bristling in agitation, but the demon didn't seem to notice—or didn't care as Alastor's grinning face hovered mere inches from his own.
"Tell me, what part did you like best?" Alastor asked, his voice eager and intense. "Was it the punchline? The whimsical visuals? Or perhaps my splendid delivery?"
Felix grimaced, leaning back as far as he could without falling over, his ears pinning flat against his head. "Uh... yeah, sure. All of that," he replied, clearly trying to appease the demon, his discomfort evident as he tried to sidestep the overly enthusiastic overlord. "Really sold me on the place."
Alastor straightened up, practically vibrating with delight. "Marvelous! Simply marvellous!" he exclaimed, spinning his staff as he turned on his heel and strode toward the center of the lobby.
Felix sighed, his tail flicking again as he muttered under his breath, "This might've been a mistake."
"Nonsense!" Alastor's voice abruptly rang out, as he suddenly materialized beside Felix, so quickly that Felix stumbled back in confusion. Felix's revolver instinctively shot up, pointing it directly at Alastor's face again. Alastor chuckled, spinning his staff theatrically in a circle before pointing it toward Felix with a flourish. "At the Hazbin Hotel, where we turn sinners into saints—well, at least we try," he proclaimed with exaggerated cheer.
Felix raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed by the pitch. "Uh-huh," he said dryly, his revolver now at his side, though his grip remained firm. "So, what's the catch?"
The demon's grin didn't falter as he leaned on his staff again. "Oh, there's no catch, dear guest," he replied, his tone smooth and reassuring. "Only a world of opportunity for those who seek redemption."
Felix raised his eyebrows, his suspicion clear. "Redemption, huh?" he echoed, a scoff escaping him. "You think I'm here for that? I'm just looking for somewhere to stay," He flicked his tail dismissively, his eyes narrowing slightly.
Alastor's eyes twinkled with a mix of amusement and something darker, though his grin never wavered. "Ah, how delightful! A non-believer, right off the bat. It's so much more fun that way!" he said with a mockingly warm tone. "But of course, redemption may not be at the forefront of your mind. No, no. You're here for... other reasons, yes?"
Felix shifted uneasily, his gaze never leaving Alastor. "I just need a roof over my head. Nothing more," he said, his voice flat, though his instincts were still on high alert.
"Of course, of course," Alastor said, tapping the base of his staff lightly against the floor, as though he were indulging Felix's simplicity. Alastor took a dramatic step closer, his smile never wavering. "The Hazbin Hotel offers refuge, comfort, and a chance for growth, even for the most... hardened of souls." he paused, letting the words hang in the air, but Felix's senses screamed at him as Alastor leaned in even closer, the demon's red eyes gleaming with an unsettling intensity.
Felix instinctively stepped back, but Alastor was still closing the gap before Felix raised his gun again, aiming it directly at Alastor's face.
"Back off," Felix said in a low, warning tone, his voice firm, his finger twitching at the trigger.
Alastor stopped in his tracks, tilting his head slightly as he regarded the barrel of the revolver with an amused glint in his eyes. "Now, now. Is that really necessary?"
Felix's grip tightened on the revolver, his eyes flicking back to Alastor as the demon tilted his head even further, a smile still playing at the corners of his lips. But just as Felix was about to speak, a frantic voice shouted from behind him.
"Wait! Wait! Wait!"
Felix's gaze snapped to the side, his eyes narrowing toward a woman running between him and Alastor. She had rosy red cheeks, her frantic expression matched by the hurried pace she kept as she practically threw herself in front of Alastor, her arms raised as if to protect the demon.
The woman gave him a pleading look, her hands still held up in a non-threatening gesture. "Please, wait! He's not here to hurt anyone! Alastor isn't dangerous!" Her voice trembled slightly, but there was a fire in her eyes, as though she was desperate to defuse the situation.
Felix's jaw tightened in disbelief. "Like hell he is," he muttered, still keeping the gun trained on the both of them, but now with a growing sense of unease.
Alastor, never missing a beat, raised an eyebrow and smirked. "I agree with the canine. I very much am," he said with amusement as he glanced at the woman, who shot him a quick, scolding look.
"Not helping, Alastor." The woman muttered before taking a deep breath, her hands still raised, her voice softening as she spoke to Felix. "Please, just lower your weapon. Alastor may be... intimidating, but he won't harm you." She glanced up at Alastor, her expression pleading. "Right, Alastor?"
The demon chuckled, his staff tapping lightly against the ground. "Of course, my dear. I'm merely here to welcome our newest guest," he said with a mock bow, his grin ever present.
Felix's grip on the revolver loosened slightly, but he didn't lower it. "I'm not taking any chances with either of you," he muttered, his tail flicking agitatedly behind him. "I'd feel a lot safer by putting a bullet in his head."
"Well, my good fellow," Alastor's voice suddenly warped, growing distorted like a radio with poor reception, "y̵̝̼̑͌ö̴̖̯̽u̴̓ͅ'̵̗̻͋r̷͉̎̅ę̶̥̄̾ ̶̠͔͐m̶̘̃͝o̴͔̩̾r̵̦͂͌ę̷͓͘ ̵̥͊͐ẗ̴͈́͠h̴͚̊͝e̵̟̗̿ṇ̵̘̐ ̴͎̣̀̑w̵̬̗̏́e̶̢̺͆l̷̨̲͌c̵͇͑͒ͅö̷́ͅm̷̮͌̿é̶̟͠ ̵͖͍̓̎t̸͎̮̓́ö̵̺́ ̵̛̪̭̄ṱ̷̨̍r̸̨͛͜ÿ̸͔́̈́.̷̎̑"
Felix's eyes went wide as antlers suddenly sprouted from his head, jagged and dark, curling like twisted branches. Static crackled in the air, and Felix instinctively took a step back, his fur standing on end.
Felix stared at the sight wide-eyed, his fur standing on end. "Yeah, fuck that," he muttered, his ears flattening back as he immediately pulled the revolver back up, aiming it directly at Alastor again.
The woman, who had been standing nervously in between them, quickly stepped forward, her voice desperate and urgent. "Alastor, please! You're scaring him!" Her voice was pleading, trying to calm the situation before it escalated further.
Alastor's eerie grin finally softened, his form flickering back to normal as the antlers retracted into his head, his static voice smoothing out. "Ah, Charlie, always the killjoy," he said with a light chuckle.
"Alastor, can you please go get the others while I deal with, umm..." Charlie trailed off, glancing at Felix with a brief but meaningful pause, as if waiting for him to make some sort of statement.
"Felix Howler." Felix's replied flatly, his narrow-eyed gaze never leaving the space where Alastor had been. The air still crackled with tension, but he kept his grip on the revolver, not entirely trusting the situation yet.
Charlie nodded, clearly relieved to have gotten a response from him, even if it was a little terse. "Right. Felix Howler," she repeated, as if testing the name out. "While I deal with Felix here," she continued, turning her attention back to Alastor.
The eerie smile that had seemed so unshakable on Alastor's face softened, just slightly, but the strange gleam never fully left his eyes. "Hmm, very well," he muttered with a shrug, already fading into a shadow. His form blurred for a moment before he vanished completely, his presence melting away like smoke in the air.
Once Alastor was gone, Charlie let out a long sigh, visibly relaxing. She turned to face Felix fully, her expression a mixture of concern and caution. "I'm sorry about that," she began, her voice much softer now, though there was still an edge of unease in it. "Alastor... he can be a bit much sometimes." She offered a small, somewhat awkward smile. "I'm Charlie, by the way. And this is my hotel.
Felix's lips twisted into a smirk, though his eyes remained sceptical. "Yeah, I figured," he said, raising an eyebrow, his amusement vanishing as he leaned against the bar, arms crossed. "So what the radio guy said about redemption... that's real?"
Charlie's expression brightened again, her eyes lighting up with enthusiasm. "Yes! Absolutely! That's the whole point of the Hotel!" She gestured around as if the very walls embodied salvation itself. "We're here to help Sinners change, to give them a second chance! The goal is to help them make better choices and—"
Felix scoffed, cutting her off. "You're serious."
Charlie blinked, her smile faltering slightly, but she pushed forward. "Yes! I mean, redemption doesn't happen overnight, but with the right guidance and—"
Felix laughed bitterly, shaking his head. "Guidance? You think you can just—what, convince Sinners to change? You've seen what kind of people are down here, right?"
Before Charlie could respond, the faint sound of footsteps caught both of their attention. Alastor appeared to have returned with a few other demons following closely behind him, their forms varying in appearance. One of the demons, a tall, slender woman with grayish-lavender skin and a eyepatch that sports a red-pink X shape over her left eye, approached Charlie with a quiet elegance. Felix's attention snapped to her immediately, his head tilting as he narrowed his eyes slightly. There was something about her that made his instincts bristle, but not in the same way Alastor did.
Charlie brightens up and gestures towards them. "Felix, I'd like you to meet everyone properly. This is Vaggie, my girlfriend and the manager of the hotel. Husk the bartender, Niffty our maid, and this is Angel Dust," she continues, motioning to the flamboyant, pink-hued spider demon who grins mischievously. "He's one of our first residents."
"Pfft, you mean your only resident." Angel dust scoffed as he walks over the bar and reaches over to grab a bottle.
Felix gives them both a once-over, his yellow eyes narrowing slightly. Vaggie shot him a sharp look, clearly unimpressed, while Husk simply grunted and took a sip from his ever-present drink. Niffty practically buzzed with energy as she peered at Felix with curiosity with her one eye, while Angel Dust leans against the bar with a smirk. "Well, well, ain't you a tall drink of edgy," Angel teases, winking at Felix. "What's your deal, big guy? Here for redemption or just here to brood?"
Felix, ignoring the plainly obvious attempt at flirting looks at Angel curiously. "Didn't I see you on a billboard or something? What are you, an Actor?"
"Something like that." Angel dust smirks, but choosing not to elaborate for his own amusement, while Husk merely rolled his eyes at the sinner as he took his place behind the bar.
Niffty giggled, darting closer than necessary. "Ooooh! You're tall and spooky! I like you already!"
Felix instinctively took a half-step back. "Yeah. Thanks."
Charlie cleared her throat, trying to press on, her voice more careful now. "Everyone, I wanted to introduce Felix. He's considering staying at the hotel."
Felix scoffed, crossing his arms. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves," he said, his tone thick with sarcasm. "I'm just here for a bed, not to join some circus."
Vaggie's eyes narrowed. "Then why are you still here?"
Felix's smirk returned, sharp and taunting. "Curiosity. Morbid curiosity."
Charlie let out a small sigh. "I get it. It's a lot to take in."
Felix rolled his eyes. "No, what's 'a lot' is you thinking you can turn Hell into a self-improvement seminar." His expression darkened, the humour fading.
Charlie blinked, her expression faltering as Felix straightened up, his fur bristling. His sharp yellow eyes burned with something far more hostile than skepticism. "You're seriously telling me you think all these lowlifes deserve a shot at Heaven? A second chance?" His tail flicked sharply behind him, agitation creeping into his voice. "You really think Heaven's just gonna let them waltz in because they played nice for a while?"
Charlie's hopeful expression dimmed slightly, but she refused to back down. "Yes, I do," she said, her voice steadier than her expression. "Everyone deserves a chance to be better, Felix. That's the point. People make mistakes—"
Felix let out a bitter laugh, shaking his head. "Mistakes?" His voice dripped with contempt. "A mistake is forgetting someone's name, tripping on the damn sidewalk. You don't end up in Hell because of a 'mistake', Princess." He stepped closer, his towering form casting a shadow over her. "You think you can wash the blood off their hands with a smile and a fucking sing-along? Some of these bastards ruined lives and 'enjoyed' it."
"No Second Chances"
[Verse 1: FELIX]
(Dark, brooding tone, electric guitar in the background)
You're tellin' me they all deserve a way out?
A clean slate, a golden road to Heaven's gates?
The ones who tore lives apart without a doubt,
You think they can change? Well, ain't that great.
(Music builds, drums kick in, intensity rising)
Murderers, liars, the ones who took joy—
In tearing the world apart like it was a toy.
You think a smile and a second chance—
Can cleanse the bloodstains off their hands?
[Chorus: FELIX]
(Explosive, intense, almost shouted)
No second chances!
Hell ain't a game, and they made their choice!
No second chances!
You can't drown out the screams with your voice!
You wanna save them?
Go ahead, waste your time!
But Heaven won't open its gates—
For creatures like them, not their kind!
[Verse 2: CHARLIE]
(Softer, pleading, hopeful piano and strings behind her voice)
I know it's hard to believe in the light,
When you've spent so long lost in the dark.
But I've seen the worst still reach for what's right,
And redemption can still leave a mark.
(Music swells, CHARLIE'S voice steadier, conviction growing)
Yes, people fall, and yes, they break,
But if we don't try, it's the same mistake.
Aren't we all searching for something more?
A reason to fight, to stand, to restore?
[Chorus: CHARLIE]
(Stronger, defiant, but still hopeful)
They deserve chances!
Not just the good, but the broken, too!
They deserve chances!
To prove there's still something inside that's true!
You think it's hopeless,
But I won't stop this fight!
Because even in Hell, I believe—
That the lost can still find the light!
[Bridge: FELIX & CHARLIE – Call & Response]
(FELIX'S voice rough, angry – CHARLIE'S voice determined, unyielding)
FELIX: You think a monster can just make it right?!
CHARLIE: I believe they can if they try!
FELIX: You don't know what they've really done!
CHARLIE: That's why I have to help them run!
FELIX: You're just a fool with a dream too big!
CHARLIE: But dreams are where hope begins!
FELIX: You'll get burned trying to play with fire!
CHARLIE: But I won't stop reaching higher!
[Final Chorus: Both]
(CHARLIE'S voice soaring, FELIX'S voice strained, as if cracking under the weight of his own beliefs)
CHARLIE: They deserve chances!
Even if they've fallen far!
FELIX: No second chances!
Hell's the truth of who they are!
CHARLIE: But what about you? Doesn't that mean the same?
That you don't deserve a chance?
(FELIX shouting)
FELIX: I don't!
(Music abruptly cuts, leaving only silence before slowly picking up.)
The words came out so quickly, so coldly, that Charlie's breath hitched, her eyes widening slightly. "Felix…"
The room falls silent for a moment, rest of the Hazbin crew exchange glances, taken aback. Husk shifts uncomfortably behind the bar, lowering his drink. Vaggie tenses as she furrows her brows, while Angel Dust raises an eyebrow, the usual grin briefly faltering. Alastor, however, simply smirks, clearly amused.
[Outro: FELIX– Soft, broken]
(The music fades back in, soft piano, FELIX'S voice low and heavy with finality.)
No second chances…
Not for them…
Not for me…
Not for anyone.
Felix let the last note linger in the air as he gave a slow, taunting grin, his gaze never leaving Charlie's as she wiped away a tear. Vaggie, standing off to the side, narrowed her gaze angrily, clearly unimpressed with Felix's antics. Felix gave her a wink as he passed her, and she barely held back a snarl. Meanwhile, Alastor's smile had transformed into something much more amused, his hands clapping together in a slow, dramatic fashion.
"Well, now," Alastor chimed in, his voice cheerful once more. "It's not every day we get a performance like that! A bit of a harsh critique, though. But, I do quite enjoy the theatrics!"
Angel Dust gave a dramatic sigh, leaning against the bar. "Jeez, talk about a buzzkill."
Husk muttered something under his breath and took another drink, while Niffty simply tilted her head, as if studying Felix like a puzzle waiting to be solved.
Vaggie stepped forward, her expression stormy. "So, what? You think everyone here is beyond saving? That just because they made mistakes, they don't deserve a chance to be better?"
Felix's yellow eyes flickered with something unreadable, but his voice was unwavering. "Yeah. Some people don't deserve a second chance. Some people ruin lives, destroy others for their own gain. And you think putting them in a fancy hotel is gonna change that?"
Felix met her gaze head-on, his glowing yellow irises burning with something unreadable. "I know what I am, Charlie. I know what I've done. And I know damn well I don't deserve to be saved." His voice was eerily calm, but there was a weight to it—a bitterness that ran deep. "And neither do most of the scum in hell."
His yellow eyes flicked around the lobby, taking in the strange assortment of demons, and then he turned on his heel, his tail flicking behind him as he began to walk away. "Hope's a nice little distraction, but it's not gonna change anything around here," he muttered, more to himself than anyone else, dismissing their words like they were nothing more than empty air.
Charlie watched him go, her hopeful expression faltering. She opened her mouth to say something but stopped herself, watching Felix's retreating figure with a mixture of sadness and determination. The weight of his words hung in the air, but she refused to let it crush her spirit.
"Wait… please." Charlie's voice called out, a hint of desperation in it, though she kept her distance. Felix's ear twitched slightly at the sound, his step faltering, but he didn't turn around right away.
Charlie took a breath, gathering her thoughts before continuing. "I know you're not here for redemption," she began softly, her voice steady but tinged with sadness, "but just remember, you're not alone in this. The hotel—this place—it's about finding a way forward. Even if you don't believe in it, there's still... something worth fighting for." She hesitated before adding, "I think... I think that's what makes the difference. We all need something to believe in."
Charlie's eyes softened as she took a step forward, her voice gentle but firm. "Either way, you're always welcome to stay as long as you want," she said, trying to keep the mood light, despite the weight of Felix's words still lingering in the air. "All we're asking is that you try."
Felix paused for a moment, then turned slightly, his head tilting as he glanced back at her. A smirk tugged at the corner of his lips, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "So, basically, you're just wanting me to play nice?" His yellow eyes flickered with amusement, yet there was an edge to his voice, as if he was still debating whether he would even consider it.
Charlie's expression softened at his words, her eyes meeting his with a quiet resolve. "I know it's a lot to ask, Felix," she said gently, her voice calm but firm, "but yes, that's the idea. Just... try. For the sake of the others here. For their sake, and yours."
Felix studied her for a long moment, his tail flicking behind him, his mind clearly turning over her words. He didn't respond right away, and for a brief second, the air was thick with tension as he weighed his options. Finally, with a slight shrug, he gave a nonchalant grin, though it didn't quite reach his eyes.
"Fuck it, I'm in. Let's test this shit out." Felix smirked, his voice tinged with reluctant curiosity, before he turned back toward the lobby.
Charlie blinked, momentarily caught off guard. "You are?" she uttered, her voice laced with disbelief before her face quickly lit up, her expression filled with genuine excitement as she corrected herself. "I mean—you are!" A hopeful smile spread across her face, though there was still a hint of uncertainty in her eyes, as if she was afraid to acknowledge the victory too soon.
The rest of the group had mixed reactions. Vaggie narrowed her eyes slightly, arms crossed, clearly skeptical. Angel Dust raised an eyebrow, swirling his drink around. "Huh. Well, shit. Didn't see that one comin'," he muttered. Husk just grumbled, rubbing his temple like this was going to be a headache. Niffty, however, let out a cheerful squeal, already eager to make things 'cozy' for their new resident.
Alastor, meanwhile, simply chuckled, his crimson eyes gleaming with intrigue. "Oh-ho! What an interesting turn of events!" He clapped his hands together, clearly enjoying the development. "This will be delightful."
Felix rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, don't get your hopes up, though," he muttered, shoving his hands in his pockets. "I'm just seeing where this goes. But, uh, it's not like I've got anything better to do." His smirk widened as he eyed Charlie. "And who knows? Maybe I'll get a good laugh out of it."
Charlie exhaled, shaking her head with a small smile. "That's... good enough for me," she said, relief evident in her voice. Charlie beamed at him, unable to hide her relief and excitement. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! You won't regret it."
"Yeah, yeah. We'll see about that," Felix muttered, but there was no real malice in his tone. Charlie, in her excitement, abruptly lunged forward and wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug, squeezing the air out of him. "Uh, okay—" he managed, his eyes wide in surprise, clearly taken aback. His tail flicked nervously, and his body tensed as he awkwardly tried to separate himself from Charlie's enthusiastic embrace.
Charlie pulled back after a moment, her face flushed with excitement. "Okay! Vaggie will take you to your room so you can get settled in while the rest of us will get everything ready for the celebration!" she exclaimed, bouncing on her heels, her energy practically infectious.
"Celebration?" Felix raised an eyebrow, his tone skeptical as he glanced between Charlie and Vaggie, unsure of what exactly he had gotten himself into.
Before he could get an answer, Vaggie suddenly grabbed him by the back of his collar, pulling him toward the lift. "Don't worry about it," Vaggie said, her voice cool but not unkind. "Come on. We'll get you set up, and you can figure the rest out later."
Felix shot her a glance as she tugged him along, clearly not thrilled by the prospect. Felix grumbled under his breath, "Yeah, this place is already giving me a headache." Despite his complaints, he didn't resist as he let Vaggie lead him to the elevator.
Vaggie just gave him a flat look as they stepped into the elevator. "You'll get used to it," she said, clearly amused by reaction so far.
As the lift began its ascent, Vaggie's expression softened slightly, though her demeanour remained assertive. "Look, I know you're not exactly thrilled about being here," she said, crossing her arms. "But it's the best option you've got right now. Just stick around long enough to see what it's really about."
Felix shrugged, his eyes scanning the interior of the lift as it moved upward. "I'll stick around as long as I feel like it. But if it gets too weird, I'm out."
Vaggie gave him a sharp look, but the faintest hint of a smile tugged at her lips. "Fair enough. But for now, just let's get you settled in."
Felix followed Vaggie in silence, his sharp gaze taking in every detail until they arrived at a door marked 333. With a quick motion, Vaggie unlocked it, holding the key out for him.
"Here you go," she said, stepping back to let him through. "Room's all yours."
Felix stepped inside cautiously, his eyes sweeping over the room. To his surprise, it was far more lavish than he'd expected. The space was cozy but simple, with plush furniture, a large window looking out over the hellish landscape, and a comfortable-looking bed.
He turned back to Vaggie, a questioning look on his face. "This is my room?"
"Yep," Vaggie said, her tone nonchalant as she leaned against the doorframe for a moment. Then, after a pause, her voice softened slightly, almost as if offering him a quiet reassurance. "You can leave whenever you want. But if you stay... maybe you'll realize it's not as bad as you think." She gave him one last glance before pushing off the doorframe and walking back down the hall. "Don't be too long or I'll come back to drag you to the party myself."
Felix gave a faint nod, not really responding as his focus shifted to the room itself. Standing in silence for a moment before stepping further into the room, getting himself comfortable, but not before searching the room for cameras.
Author Note:
Felix finally meets the Hazbin crew and finally have his first song, honestly don't know how it sounds with out music so was thinking of using Suno and posting it for you guys to listen too but let me know if it's something you guys might like. (Just warning it won't be accurate.)
Also let me know if there is any issue with Felix and Alastor part, i messed up and parts of it were jumbled up. Hopefully I fixed it
Another issue not related to the story, remember when I said I was having issues with my USB that held my stories? Yeah, well, it got corrupted...so did my backup. So i've lost a good amount of my stories and concepts, luckily TOH, HAZBIN, and KIPO were unaffected. (Mostly, lost two chapters of Kipo which I'm not happy about cause I was really excited about one of them.)
Thankfully a friend of mine recovered some of it and its now HEAVILY backed up in several ways.

Well, there might not be sex scenes in this, but I'm sure you'll either lead into it and then cut away to the morning after or something along those lines, to at least imply that the deed was done.
Nice to see Loona and Felix getting along after the hostile first meeting. But why the heck did he keep the page from the grimoire? I know it teleports him around, but why would he go to the Hazbin Hotel?
- Exactly what I was planning.
- He promised to visit his sis and it be safer to steal it then trust Blitz to get over his grudge, also its teleportation who would give that up? As for the hotel its free, and I'd feel like buying/renting a house in hell would be difficult.
