"Are you sure about this?" Meruem took deep breaths as he floated high in the sky, letting each one out slowly whilst staring at the vast darkness that was space before turning to his commanders that were floating behind him.

"I am. Most of the forces are spread out throughout the different planets and once I begin my assault, I will also be teleporting you all to the same place to keep his army occupied."

"Do you believe that you'll be able to take out Cooler, my lord?" Paragus asked and Meruem crossed his arms as he looked at them and nodded.

"If I'm quick and take him out before he can do anything…then, yes. If he dodges that, then I might be in for a drawn-out battle. At that point, however, I need you all to make sure that none of his army tries to interrupt us."

"Oh, you don't have to worry about us. You just make sure this thing ends today." Granolah spoke up and Meruem chuckled as he nodded and floated closer towards them.

"I would be delighted." He spoke as he raised his arms out and Paragus and Garana both grasped an arm before everyone touched the others, Meruem taking a deep breath as he stretches his ki sensing out and locked onto Cooler's.

'Hah, time to end this. …Instant Transmission.' With a simple thought, the world around them warped as Meruem and his commanders appeared right in the centre of the Cooler Force ship's cockpit.

Surprised shouts echoed in the cockpit as the commanders quickly attacked everyone in their path, but Meruem didn't care as he rushed forward at the tall Colarctian standing at the captain's seat.

A bit confused at just how calm the alien looked, Meruem was already firing a Death Beam at his forehead and pierced right through it, grabbing onto the alien's neck before teleporting the two of them to one of the planets that they liberated.

"Nice work!" He said at one of the soldiers that had raised his power as high as he could and quickly teleported him away to the headquarters before reappearing above Cooler, watching as the Colarctian laid on the floor with blood pouring from the hole in his head.

'Too easy. That…was way too easy.' Meruem thought with a frown, not surprised to see the body pulsating and shaking before raising an eyebrow as he watched the hole in Cooler's head closing up.

"I see. You must be the one who has been taking out my army." Cooler spoke with a frown as he stood up, looking up at Meruem as the clone looked back down while folding his arms.

"That's not a flesh and blood body, is it?" Meruem spoke and Cooler simply looked amused as he raised a hand before the clone's frown deepened when he watched the flesh of the Colarctian warped into that of a longsword.

"It is not. You see-!" Before the Colarctian could start his monologue, he quickly severed his head from his body as Meruem appeared in front of him and tried to land a spin kick to his neck. However, Cooler quickly caught it with a smirk before pushing it away.

The clone continued his failed assault as a ki blade appeared around his hand before he swung it at Cooler's neck only for it to turn into a blue metallic sludge that twisted around the attack and attached itself back to the main body.

The body, however, was not standing still as it quickly threw a punch, Meruem holding the ki blade in front of him right as the punch landed and sent him flying backwards.

'Yep, that is most definitely not a normal body anymore, but it is also not that blue-gray metallic body that Cooler had in that movie.' Meruem thought with a frown as he dismissed his ki blade and flipped over, Cooler having already appeared in the air in front of him with a fist pulled back.

Throwing the punch, Meruem twisted his body under it while lashing out with a kick into the side of his enemy only to frown as his leg sunk into the Colarctian's body before the metallic sludge quickly tried to sink into his body.

However, Meruem was quick to rip his head off and throw it high while also detonating his body, regenerating the damage within mere moments as he watched the smoke obscuring Cooler from view.

"H-High Speed Regeneration…a-and immensely potent ki…Oh, your body will be a much better fit than this spawn of Cold's…" Unlike before, Cooler's voice was missing as a more high-pitched voice spoke this time, the smoke dissipating right as Cooler walked out.

Instead of it being the regular transformed Cooler, though, Meruem was surprised to see the golden metallic skin of Cooler as well as the dark blue gems around his body, a pair of scarlet red eyes looking up at the clone with a manic grin while red stripes were on the sides of his four horn protrusions on his face as well as his chest and sides.

'…Ain't no goddamn way that's who I think it is.'

"Wait, you're not even Cooler? Then who the hell are you?" Meruem asked, wanting to make sure his theory was true and he sighed as the Metal Cooler grinned and spread his arms wide.

"I am the scourge of the Saiyan race, the last remaining relic of the Tuffles that have been infused with the DNA of their king. I am…Baby."

'Well…isn't this lovely?' Meruem thought with a sigh as he readied himself, having already seen just how powerful the damn thing could get when it was connected with the right host.

"Given from how you're using this golden form instead of actually trying it from the start, I must be slightly correct in understanding that the host you currently have is not strong enough to contain your power, is it?"

"Hehehehe~ Who knows? Why don't you come here and we'll find out if you're better?" Baby spoke with a grin and Meruem took a deep breath before unleashing a pillar of scarlet ki with a roar.

"Kaio-ken X10!" Baby was surprised as he was pushed back by a burst of ki, but the clone didn't waste any time as he appeared in front of Baby with a leg pulled back before swinging it forward with a grunt.

The Tuffle quickly leaned back right as a monstrous blade of ki shot out of the clone's foot and sliced across the vast landscape, cutting down every mountain in its path as Baby stood up and leapt at him.

Quickly moulding his body into a giant sheet, Meruem frowned as he unleashed a kiai, shattering the ground for hundreds of meters while also sending the parasite flying back as the clone glared at him.

'Oh, so we're doing absorbing? Okay then. Let's see you keep up, bitch.' Calling upon the memories of Prime's training under Pybara, Meruem raced through the air as he put his index and middle fingers to his forehead, charging potent ki to both hands as hundreds of clones doing the same thing appeared around him.

"Namek's Vengeance!" He roared as they all pointed their fingers at Baby and unleashed hundreds of Special Beam Cannon blasts at the parasite, who frowned as he rapidly created holes in his body to dodge them all before raising his hands at them.

"Reverse Arc Blast!" Baby chanted as he rapidly swiped his arms through the air, unleashing gigantic arcs of blasts that sliced through everything in its path before exploding behind the clones into thousands of miniature blue suns that rained down upon.

However, the clones were quick to create an Electro-Barrier that blocked all of the blasts right as Meruem continued rushing towards his opponent, who frowned as he did the same before both fighters pulled a fist back.

'Forced Spirit Fission!' However, as their fists connected, Baby was horrified to feel a scorching pain in his hand as he watched his golden skin be torn away to reveal Cooler's original body underneath it.

Quickly repairing the damage, he spun around to attack Meruem with a backhand, but the clone let the blow rip his head off as his body landed a kick to the side of Baby and exploded.

Shaking his head and fully regenerating his body, he grinned while Baby grit his teeth as the skin on his left side was torn away before he restored it back once more, glaring at Meruem as the clone flipped over and rushed back in.

This time, Baby tried his best to dodge and push away each attack, but he couldn't dodge them all as Meruem swung his hand through the air and unleashed a ki slash only to make it explode mere seconds after it passed the parasite.

"Gah!" Baby grunted in pain and surprise as he felt the blast searing his back before letting out a gargling wheeze when Meruem landed a double stomp to his chest.

The clone quickly flew back with a barrage of ki blasts at Baby, who blocked the blasts with a ki barrier while repairing the damage to his body.

"How…are you doing that?!" Baby shrieked as he rushed forward, but Meruem was completely silent and focused as he slid around the punch before spinning and slicing off Baby's arm at the shoulder with a grunt.

His tail snaked around with the stinger expanding and quickly sucked in the arm, Meruem moving back as Baby went to restore his arm before frowning as he felt his body being weaker than it was before.

"What is that technique?" Baby growled as his body bulked up a bit, quickly retracting back to its original size as Meruem smirked while his hands were up in a boxing stance.

"Wouldn't you like to know?" Meruem spoke and Baby gritted his teeth as he charged forward, no longer caring for taking it slow as he rapidly expanded his body with a roar.

However, Meruem did not seem worried as he looked the parasite while rapidly analysing where his next move should it, taking a deep breath and letting ki gather to his hands before he rushed forward.

"Supreme Being's Dance." Meruem chanted as he danced through the air, rapidly cutting and slicing up any part that got near him while making Baby scream as the parasite felt his very being be sliced apart by the clone's attack.

Trying his best to get away with a fragment while leaving his body to fall to the floor, Baby's eyes widened as he found himself being surrounded by a ki barrier, looking back to see Meruem floating towards him while being surrounded in a barrier as well.

"W-Who…who are you? Who are you to disrupt my plans?!" The parasite shouted as he powered up, blasting right through the barriers and delivering a powerful punch to the clone's jaw that made his head turn.

However, Baby was surprised to see that nothing else had happened and stared in horror as Meruem slowly pushed against his fist while turning his head back.

"I'm the fucking Juggernaut, bitch." He rasped back in a perfect copy of the parasite's voice right as his tail came around, Baby feeling his body lock up in a ki lock as Meruem focused and sucked the parasite in.

However, this time, he didn't waste any time and dropped down from the sky, landing on one of the many gigantic craters lining the ground as he quickly sucked up the rest of the parasite's body before letting his mind sink into his subconscious mindscape.

As he did so, he was thankful for the wishes he had made as he could feel Baby trying its best to fight off the assimilation process, smirking as his back bulged slightly with the parasite trying to escape before he took a deep breath as its resistance to the process finally died down.

"Hah…Man, that was a bit easier than I was expecting, but I guess the revelations were more shocking than the fight itself." Meruem had been very surprised at the fact that Baby was the one in charge and not Cooler.

He especially wasn't expecting Forced Spirit Fission to work on the parasite as he was expecting him to have been stuck in a battle to slice apart Baby for days until his entire body was available to be absorbed, but he would take this stroke of luck with gratitude.

'Now then, time to see what they were heading to.' Meruem thought as he rapidly shifted through both Cooler's and Baby's memories, quickly abandoning that of Baby's as he found nothing but the memories of King Tuffle swearing revenge on the Saiyans and nothing more.

However, Cooler's proved to be most insightful as he watched the memory of his scientists discovering the location of the technological marvel they spoke of and grinned as he realized that it was exactly as they had suspected.

'The Gete Star, a planet-sized mass of technology powered by a single microchip carrying a highly advanced artificial intelligence. Now, one could go and take it out…but one could also go and acquire it for oneself.'

"Should I let the others know?…Yeah, I at least need to let them know I won." He muttered and focused on Broly's ki since his was the biggest, quickly catching a feel of it before he vanished and reappeared right next to the big guy.

"…Damn, you guys work quick." Meruem spoke with a whistle as he stood right next to the Saiyan, who was busy munching on a giant insect leg while the others were lounging around the cockpit.

"Lord Meruem! Did everything proceed as planned?!" Garana asked as he leapt to his feet the moment he caught sight of his leader, the others doing the same as the clone smiled and nodded.

"It did, indeed. There were a few hiccups, but as of today, the Cooler Force has been vanquished. The Imperial Empire is now the reigning commanding force of the universe!"

"Yes!" Cheelai exclaimed while hugging Broly from the side with a bright smile, who looked a bit confused and happy as he smiled with a blush and hugged her back softly.

The others looked pleased and happy as they sagged with relief, Bonyu, Granolah and Paragus actually looking joyful for once as Garana fist bumped the air.

"That is wonderful news!"

"Lord Meruem! Come in! I repeat! Lord Meruem, do you hear me?" Meruem blinked as he heard Monaito's voice through the radios they all wear and turned on the mic on his end.

"This is Meruem speaking. I'm all ears."

"My Lord! You'll be happy to hear that our forces have taken out the planets they were sent to with minimal casualties and that some of new allies have taken it upon themselves to fly to the other planets still under Cooler's control with their armadas to liberate them from his control."

"Hahahaha! Wonderful news, Monaito! We have achieved victory on our end as well and we'll all be heading back as soon as I make a quick stop!"

"Really? Truly, the divines have looked down upon us for this fortunate day! We shall await you at the headquarters, my lord."

"Thank you, Monaito. See you there." Meruem spoke and turned off the radio before looking at the others as Bonyu spoke up with a raised eyebrow.

"A quick stop, my lord?" She asked and Meruem nodded as he walked over to the control panel of the ship, placing in the coordinates of where the Gete Star was currently before letting the ship fly through space.

"Yes, I now know what this technological marvel is that Cooler wants to use and have also found its location. With it, we shall be able to upgrade our technology tremendously and make sure that no evil will ever triumph in our universe."

"You did, Lord Meruem? It appears that the divines have blessed you, indeed." Paragus spoke up with an excited smile and Meruem chuckled as he turned to look at them and nodded.

"The divines have blessed us,Paragus. Now, this is a nice ship so why don't we all clean it and then we'll go fetch the Gete Star?"

A/N: And the War Arc is officially over, with a little reveal at the end!

Yeah, Cooler wasn't the type to just kill his men for speaking and I wanted to add an element from DB GT to make the arc better.

Hence, Baby Cooler~!

Now, from what I've read, Baby doesn't boost its host's power by much which is why Cooler was so weak compared to Meruem, which is why the clone didn't struggle in their battle

Anyway, next chapter we're continuing with the split chapter perspective and then…the fusion~!
