The Betrayal
From that day on, Lucy could think of nothing else but these words. "Why doesn't he come to me in the day? Why doesn't he allow me to see his face ? What is his secret? Why hasn't he ever told me about his life?" These thoughts were puzzling Lucy for many days. "He must be hiding something horrible and that is why he does not want to be seen in the daylight. I must find out. Tonight, when he falls into deep sleep, I will see him. If he is a snake, I will kill him" she thought. Lucy had taken her decision, completely ignoring her husband's warning.
Indeed, that night, after making love passionately, when her husband fell asleep, Lucy found the courage and lit an oil lamp and hold a dagger . Walking on her toes, she approached the bed. Nothing could have prepared her for what she saw, though. The light fell on the man's faces. Instead of an ugly monster , there was the most beautiful man she had ever seen was sleeping on that bed.
He had big ginger hair like a lion's mane, flawless white skin like ivory ,chisled jaw, cat like sharp eye shape and sharp lips. He was beautiful like a Greek god. Ashamed by her madness , grudges and the influence of her sisters, Lucy fell down on her knees and thanked the spirits to marry this beautiful reddish gold hair man . However, while she was leaning on front of him, a drop of heated oil from the light holder fell on the young man's chest . After waking up and seeing Lucy above him, a dagger and an oil lamp on her hand .
She tried to hide ,but it was too late.
He immediately got up , scared and upset. He looked her in the eyes and facing her distrust.
"Lucy, all I asked is for you to not see my face, but you couldn't keep it. "
He got up, transforming into wearing his heavenly dress and wings at his back that can make him fly at sky.
"I don't trust you Lucy, but I won't harm you." he said in a broken voice
"But you can stay here, enjoy all the luxury or go back to your earth realm.
I'm no one to stop you, neither do you.Goodbye."
He flew through the open balcony without looking back and left the room without uttering a single word.
Lucy immediately ran after her husband. It was dark and she could not see him but could hear his heartbroken voice: Love can not live without trust. Those were his last words before flying to the dark sky with little stars. Although she tried to chase him, he flew away and she stayed back, on the bank of a river.
Few days later, she came to back to earth. Her sisters chuckled in the victory of their influence. Then they ran to the cliff so instead of Lucy they can go to the heavenly realm and enjoy the luxury. But the wind only got them up and let them fall down under the cliff, leading to go in oblivion.
Gemini, the spirit of the wild, was there. After they realized who they were , the spirits allowed her to begin the quest of finding her lost lover. Lucy was determined to do anything to win Leo back.
