The Smog Factory

Now Brad took some request on the way to Garnet City. Now there were two Pokémon that were taking parts of the forest and destroying it. Brad decided that he would be the one to go fix the need. He took the request to fight the two Pokémon that were disrupting the forest. Now Brad knew that there was a factory in the middle of the forest. Brad did not know their main resource, or what they did. It seemed to Brad that it was not a good thing to have a factory in the middle of nowhere. First it would take people a while to get to there job every day. Next, they could affect the nature of the forest. Brad headed out of Fagan Town, and while he was heading out, he heard. "Hey, are you leaving town without saying goodbye. I am headed to Garnett City as well let me go with you." Kimber said. Brad said, "Of course you can come with me."

Now Brad and Kimber saw a raging Grimer and Muk in the forest. Everything around it was covered in multiple layers of sludge. It was very unclean, and not something that was enjoyable to the nose either. So Brad took this chance to attack the Grimer and the Muk. Brad brought out his Alakzam and used psychic on the Grimer and Muk. Kimber then used her Vaporeon to hit the Grimer and Muk with water gun. Sludge bombs were thrown at Alakzam and Vaporeon. Alakzam stopped them all and threw them back at Grimer and Muk. Then Vaporeon froze Grimer with an Aroura Beam, and Alakzam knocked out Muk with a psychic attack. Then Alakzam used a mighty psybeam attack on Grimer. This knocked the Grimer out, and Brad captured the Grimer and the Muk. Then Alakzam used its psychic attack to clean up the sludge that was in the area. Vaporeon also helped with its water gun attack. While it was hard work the area was cleaned in no time, and the area had the chance to evolve back to its natural state. Now Brad thought that this Muk and Grimer had something to do with the factory that was all the way out here. He was hoping that it was not pollution from the factories making these Pokémon go wild. The problem is that he should have expected the worst.

Then Brad and Kimber saw a Koffing and Weezing in the area. The two were fighting the grass Pokémon in the area for their land. Six Parasect were fighting the five Koffing and the one Weezing. That is when the Koffing snuck up on the Parasect and used self-destruct on the Parasect. They all landed on revival herbs that seemed plentiful here, and what the Pokémon were probably fighting for. The Koffing all rose from their fainted states and did it again. That is when Brad sent out Alakzam. Alakzam made a barrier around the Pokémon pulling them towards Brad to get them out of the revival herbs. When they blew up they did no damage because Alakzam incased them in a psychic barrier. This made Weezing very mad, and shot sludge bomb at the Parasect. This knocked out all of the Parasect, but Brad was not done yet. Brad hit Weezing with a psychic attack. Then Weezing used minimize that was meant for Brad to not be able to hit it. Now this did not work, and Alakzam still landed a psybeam attack on Weezing. Then Weezing used smokescreen and made the whole field dark with a black smoke. Then Weezing used double hit on Alakzam. It really hurt Alakzam, but Alakzam kept fighting. Weezing used explode which knocked out Alakzam right into the revival herb patch. Brad caught the Koffing and Weezing. Then he cleaned up the mess that was made and kept searching for the reason of all the pollution.

Now Brad came right up to the fence. Then Grimer, Muk, Koffing, and Weezing. They were all over. There was a cloud of Koffing and Weezing. There was sludge all over the ground because of Muk and Grimer. The workers of the factory were outside of the factory. They were trying to fight off the Pokémon that had overtaken the factory. Then Brad understood that the factory was polluting the environment. That was what caused all of these Pokémon to come to the factory. When all the Pokémon had come to the factory they quickly overtaken the factor by pure power. Then Brad sent out his Nidoking. Nidoking used earthquake right out of the Pokeball. That shook up the Grimer and the Muk. Then Alakzam came out and used the exploding Weezing to defeat the nonexploding Weezing. Fortunately for the workers this was Pokeball factory. This made it easy capture all of the poison type Pokémon. Then the mess was cleaned up the workers started to thank Brad. Then the owner came to the factory. He did not look happy.

"Wait why were there all of those Pokémon? Who took care of them? What happened here?" said the owner. Brad said "Those Pokémon stopped production because of all the pollution that you were putting out into the environment. You need to cut back you emissions to make sure that the earth is still here for the younger generation. You are ruining this pristine forest for your own profit. This is a terrible thing to do. I want this forest to be here when I am old, but you are using it up to get profits for yourself. The world is not yours for profit but ours to enjoy." The owner said with a laugh "That is a bold stance for a youngster like you to take. Thanks for getting rid of those poison type Pokémon for me. Now I will run my factory the way that I want to run my factory. It does not matter if I ruin this for you and your kids and their kids. It is my forest because I own the deed to this land kid. I am going to need you to leave this factory and not worry about my factory." Brad said "Well as I see it. You have a decision to make right here. You can change and maximize your profits because you will not have to fight off the Pokémon, OR you can be bad and pollute this forest. If you keep on this path more Grimer, Muk, Koffing, and Weezing will stop production. If the factory is not producing pokeballs you are going to lose the people you have contracts with. If you lose the people you have contract with you are going back to being poor. You only have one option protect the forest or lose your riches. I think we all know what you are going to do."

Then Brad walked on towards Garnett City on the way there Brad and Kimber met a girl. She was wearing a undershirt with straps, and cargo pants with a hard hat. She was running her Pokémon against the trees. She was toughening up her Pokémon by getting them to use rollout on the trees. Then the girl said "Hiya I am Roxley. I am the rock type gym leader of Garnett City. I toughen my Pokémon up by fighting in the forest. Are you Brad? Mikey said that you were coming. That is why I am out here toughening my Pokémon up. Most people have given up by the time they make it to me. So I am ready for a rocking fight with you Brad. My Pokémon needed a workout before they fought a guy like you." Kimber said "Hey I am Kimber I am also a Pokémon trainer. Please do not act like I am not here…" Roxley said "So brad when are you going to come to the gym. I am really rocking for a fight." Brad responded "I do not know but I am definitely coming to gym as soon as possible." That is when tow Bounty Hunter Squad shot a net over Graveler. "Ha we are going to steal your very powerful Graveler. That is when the Bounty Hunter Squad sent out a Vieplume and a Victrbell. Graveler started to break out of the net with a rollout attack. The rollout attack hit both the Vieplume and Victrbell and knocked both of them out. "Well maybe you should have done some research on my power before you attacked me." Then the two scampered off, and Brad, Kimber and Roxley made it to Garnett City.

A Rocking Gym Battle

Brad came the next day to the gym. Roxley was really excited to fight Brad because of the wonderful things that Mikey had said. "In this gym our defense is rock hard. We fight a six on six battle. The winner is the person that knocks out the opponents Pokémon first. That is a pretty common rule. I think that this is going to be fun." Brad declares "I accept the challenge get ready to lose."

Brad used his Venasaur to start the battle. Roxley said a bad word as she threw out her Omastar. Omastar started the battle off with a spike cannon attack. Venasaur countered it with a razor leaf attack. This attack stopped the spike cannon and completely destroyed Omastar. Then Omastar used withdraw to stop the leaves from hitting it. Then Omastar pushed of with its tentacles towards Venasaur and used body slam on Venasaur. Venasaur knocked Omastar in the air with vine whip. Then Venasaur hit Omastar with a razor leaf. Omastar went flying when it used hydro pump on Venasaur. As soon as it stopped Venasaur shot the perfect leech seed directly at Omastar. It was detained for a second while it was trying to move. Venasaur relentlessly used vine whip on Omastar. That is when Omastar was knocked out. Roxley replaced Omastar with Onix. Venasaur started the battle off with a leech seed attack. At that moment Onix started a bide attack. Venasaur started to absorb sunlight when this happened. Now both of them were just standing there waiting for the other to attack. Then Venasaur ripped the sky open with a devastating solar beam attack. Onix looked weak after the attack, but it was still using bide. Then Onix unleashed bide attack on Venasaur. Before the tail hit Venasaur though Venasaur used a vine whip to catch the tail. Both were struggling to be the one. Onix was struggling for the hit to land. Venasaur was struggling to make sure the hit did not land. With a great thud Venasaur threw the bide attack to the side punishing the rocky terrain of the gym. Onix then had its life leeched and it fell over knocked out. Roxley then replaced Onix with Kabutops. Venasaur started the battle with a razor leaf attack. Kabutops was using slash to cut the leaves up before they hit it. Venasaur used this opportunity to sneak a vine around the rocks and started to use vine whip on Kabutops. Kabutops wrapped its arms in both f the vines, and jumped towards Venasaur with a blazing passion. Venasaur got hit with three slash attacks before Venasaur knew what to do. Venasaur then shot out a leech seed attack on Kabutops. Then Kabutops used hydro pump to jump Venasaur and used slash on the backside of Venasaur. Then Kabutops would hurt the legs of Venasaur. Then Venasaur feel and was knocked out.

Then Brad chose his Hitmonchan to fight Kabutops. They made a small circle the Pokémon seemed like they were doing a dance. Kabutops would sling its scythe and Hitmonchan would dodge. Hitmonchan would swing a punch and Kabutops would dodge. Then Kabutops swung an exceptionally hard slash attack towards Hitmonchan. This caused it to be a second late to get back to a defense position. This made a opening for Hitmontop to use sky uppercut. This sent Kabutops flying. Kabutops used hydro pump in the face of Hitmonchan. Hitmonchan hit it with an ice punch attack. This froze the stream all the way up to Kabutops face. This landed Kabutops on the ground with a big frozen face. Hitmonchan used Mach punch on Kabutops while it was down. Kabutops was knocked out of the battle.

Then Roxley used Aerodactyl to fight Hitmonchan. Aerodactyl started the battle off with brave bird. Hitmonchan grabbed the Aerodactyl with his two gloves. Then Aerodactyl used hyper beam in the face of Hitmonchan. While Hitmonchan was distracted Aerodactyl flew a distance away to recharge. When it got recharged Aerodactyl used wing attack to knock out Hitmonchan. Brad used Hitmonlee to keep Aerodactyl at a distance. Aerodactyl went for a wing attack, but Hitmonlee used rolling kick. Then while Aerodactyl was falling down Hitmonlee used mega kick to knock Aerodactyl back into the sky. Then Aerodactyl regained control and used air slash on Hitmonlee. Hitmonlee extended its leg to use mega kick from a distance. The air slash caught the leg an threw it back to the opposite side. Hitmonlee tried again to use mega kick, but its leg was threw back at it. Hitmonlee got tied in to a knot, and forced not to battle. Roxley had now defeated three of Brad's Pokémon. While Brad had defeated three of her Pokémon.

Then Brad sent out his Raichu. "I only brought this Pokémon in case you had that exact Pokémon." said Brad. Then Aerodactyl cam e down to use wing attack on Raichu. Raichu jumped to dodge and used iron tail to attach itself to Aerodactyl. Raichu used thunderbolt on Aerodactyl. Then Aerodactyl started to climb into the sky. Raichu kept using thunderbolt attack on Aerodactyl. Then Aerodactyl started to use brave bird looking to ditch the Raichu on its back. Then Raichu held on tightly and used a cracking thunder attack. The exact moment of contact with the thunder was when Aerodactyl was supposed to pull up. Aerodactyl crashed with the land. Raichu was on top of Aerodactyl making a victorious pose. Roxley said "Holding on like that was absolutely amazing I have never seen a Pokémon survive a brave bird on the back of a flying type Pokémon. That was a risky move Brad. I am using my Rhydon next I would suggest changing out. You do not stand a chance because you electric attacks will not work on my Rhydon." Brad laughed and said "I will keep Raichu in we have a plan." Raichu nodded.

When Rhydon came out it started the battle off with a bulldoze attack. Then Raichu jumped out of the way with agility. Then Raichu grabbed the leg of Rhydon with iron tail to trip Rhydon. It fail on its face and the earth shook with the great weight of the fall. Brad and Raichu was ready for this. Raichu raised itself up by its tail. Then Raichu smacked Rhyhorn directly on the horn with iron tail. Then Rhydon got up it seemed embarrassed that is would take a hit like that. Then Rhydon used rockslide This weakened the brave Raichu who had been pinned down because of this attack. Then Rhydon used earthquake to knock out Raichu. Then Brad used Primeape to fight Rhydon. Then Rhydon used bulldoze on Primeape. Primeape stood right in the way of Rhydon. Primeape took the full force of Bulldoze and countered the move with submission. Then Primeape put Rhydon's leg between its head. Then got on its back and shoved its face in the rocky terrain while pulling on the legs of Rhydon. Rhydon started to dig, but Primeape caught its tail, and used seismic toss. Rhydon smacked right into a rock. Then Primeape met Rhydon with a flurry karate chop. Then Rhydon used earthquake but a second before Primeape jumped up, and used Mach punch on the face of Rhydon. Then Rhydon spun around and was knocked out.

Roxley said "Well you know my last Pokémon. It is the Graveler that you saw yesterday, but I used the trade back machine to turn it into a mighty Golem. You do not stand a chance you should give up right now. I took out two grass Pokémon with this Pokémon yesterday. Remember?" Brad changed his Pokémon to his Blastoise. Then Golem started a rollout attack. Then Blastoise used hydro pump. They both were battling for control at that moment. Then Golem was pushed backwards. Then Blastoise shot itself up using hydro pump on the field. The terrain turned to mud. When Golem tried to keep on using rollout it was clear that it was only swing mud. With the Golem half trapped in the mud. Blastoise shot water gun at the trapped Golem. Then Golem used earthquake, but Blastoise used withdraw. Then Blastoise got close and used hydro pump on Golem. This washed the mud off and used counter on Blastoise. Blastoise lowered its head and used skull bash on Golem. Then Golem used counter on Blastoise. This mad Blastoise faint, and Brad replaced Blastoise with Primeape. Then Primeape started the fight with a hefty Mach punch attack. Golem used counterattack. Primeape watched closely and learned counter itself. Then Primeape used counter on Golem. Golem used counter back on Primeape. Then Primeape used counter one more time. It was a clear standoff and Primeape had won the match. Brad had won the Gem Badge.

"Congrats on winning the battle. Thank you for battling me. I am proud to confer the Gem Badge to you for this victory. You courageously used your fighting Pokémon to beat me. Using Raichu to shock my Aerodactyl into submission that is amazing. The brave bird that crashed because a crack of lighting at the right time. HAHAHAHAHAHA IT WAS A GREAT BATTLE!" said Roxley. Then Brad decided to rest for the rest of the day at the Trainer Club.

The Gridiron Mayhem

Now on this morning Brad and Hayden were playing Gridiron on the top of a roof that had a battlefield in Garnet City. Brad was up by seven points. When the boys were playing Brad then threw the ball with his Mr. Mime to Dragonite, and got another touchdown winning the game. That is when they heard a great crash and saw a Machoke running with a bag of money. Then Machoke started to swing on a string shot attack with the help of a Caterpie and Weedle. That is when Brad and Hayden got their Pokémon and flew towards the Machoke. The Machoke landed at a man's feet. That man was very fat, wore a suit and a top hat. His name was Barnabas he slapped the Machoke saying that it should have gotten more money than this. This is when the Flying Gunner tried to pick up Barnabas. Barnabas started to laugh. "I am only trying to grow the fear of the Bounty Hunter Squad today. I have set up multiple crimes around town. I will be honest it is to cover up some greater activity, but you will never know about that. In Garnett City there is a Children's Hospital. I have put a tone of Electrode around the hospital. You can stop me with the bank money, save the children, or help the other numerous things that are happening around this city that I have forced to happen." Now Brad instantly sent the other heroes to the hospital.

Now Barnabas made Machoke huge and forced it to fight the Flying Gunner and the Ranged Ranger started to fight the monstrous Machoke. That is when Barnabas tried to make the Weedle and the Caterpie huge. This attempt failed because Brad knocked Pokémon out first. That is when the Flying Gunner and The Ranged Ranger started to force the Machoke back. Then the Ranged Ranger had an idea. "We need to get this Machoke to the Children's Hospital." The flying Gunner responded "For the Machoke to kill all of the children with one big stomp attack. What are you even thinking right now!" The Ranged Ranger said, "No so that we can used the Electrode to blow up Barnabas' plan." Machoke was throwing Karate chops through the air, but could not hit the heroes. Then they were right next to the hospital when Beedrill Boy threw multiple Electrode at the Machoke. It was eventually defeated by the great explosions that were taken place on the chest of Machoke. That went back down to its original size when it was defeated. Brad was relieved that the fight was over, but then he realized that Barnabas said that it was more to come.

Brad then saw a Pokémon that screamed Donphan rolling through the streets. Then Brad saw Roxley running a six Pokémon team that was fighting the Donphan in the streets. Then Brad saw it Barnabas had ordered the full on attack of the city. Brad needed to protect the people. Fortunately there was four teams of Pokémon attack the city, and four people on their team. They had the advantage because they knew the Pokémon that was terrorizing the city.

The Freezing Flame swooped down and stopped the trainer that was leading Pokémon hurting the streets. One street was full of grass type Pokémon this was the one the Freezing Flame took. With ice and fire attacks the grass Pokémon was taken down in no time at all. The trainer had a Pokémon named Meganium were stampeding through the streets whipping people and throwing People and Pokémon in a truck. The Freezing Flame swooped down with a spinning attack of ice and fire. Lapras used ice beam. While the Charizard used flamethrower. Immediately each Meganium started to attack the Freezing Flame. The Meganium were knocked out, and the Freezing Flame let the people and Pokémon out of the truck. The Freezing Flame flew above and led the people to safety.

At the same time the Ranged Ranger was fighting a horde of electric Pokémon. His Pidgeot flew fast enough to avoid the electric type attacks. He would come low and get Marowak to hit the Ampharos with it bone club. A group a Flaaffy where in charge of getting Pokémon and people into the trucks. It was labeled evacuation truck. Which meant they had no idea that they were going right into the trap of the Bounty Hunter Squad. The Ranged Ranger got close to two weak Ampharos and knocked out two of them with a wing attack. Then the truck was full, and the truck was starting up about to take all of the people and Pokémon. That is when The Ranged Ranger hit the lock on the back of the trailer that they were all locked into. This gave the Ranged Ranger the opportunity to take the people and Pokémon to safety. That is when another Ampharos started to rampage even though it was obviously hurt. Marowak threw it boomerang and knocked out the weak Ampharos this scared the people. The Ranged Ranger had the ability though to talk them out of the truck, and to safety.

The Shocking Seamstress fought off the water type horde. It was a Pokémon called Octillery. They were using the octazooka move to distort the street and made people not able to see the street. Some Octillery were attacking, and other throwing unknowing victims into the truck. That is when it started to rain over this part of the city. The attacks of the Octillery were getting even stronger. The people were not distorted as much though. So, they started to fight the Octillery back. The Shocking Seamstress then used a massive thunder attack on a. group of huddled up Octillery trying to fight off the horde. There was no need to get to safety for this group because the people took it back.

During all of this the Flying Gunner fought a group of fighting type Pokémon. That was not exactly a weakness but he knew that he could win. Now the Flying Gunner was up against a Pokémon named Heracross. The Flying Gunner knocked the five Heracross out quickly but the sixth made it back to its master and was made gigantic. That is when the Flying Gunner attacked with an air slash attack and an ice beam attack. Then Heracross used Megahorn that was a direct hit on the Flying Gunner. He started to drop out of the sky. That is when Beedrill Kid caught the Flying Gunner and made sure that he was brought to safety. While the Shocking Seamstress, the Ranged Ranger, and the Freezing Flame all appeared. They came for vengeance because they thought their friend had been seriously hurt. The Freezing Flame used a spiral of ice beam and flamethrower. The Shocking Seamstress used ice beam from the Dragonite, and thunderbolt from Jolteon. The Ranged Ranger used air slash and a modified upgrade with a boomerang attack. They all started to fall when Heracross used swift that they could not dodge. They finally won the day by a combined attack all in the same spot. Then they rushed to the hospital to see if Brad was okay. When they got into the emergency room they saw Brad and he said "Well it is good that we saved this place first. I kind of needed it." Then Brad rested from his injuries.

The Dinner Battle

Now when Brad was better from the hospital Kimber came to see him at the Trainer Club. "Hey Brad, I have a reservation at the coolest restaurant in Garnett City." Brad responded, "that is cool I hope you have a wonderful time there." Then Kimber giggled "Uh it is a reservation for uh two, but I do not have anyone to go with. Would you like to uh go with me?" Brad laughed a little and said, "Sure I will go with you." Kimber then said "Oh something that you should know is that during the meal we battle. For every course we have to battle another team of chiefs or servers from the restaurant. There are three courses the appetizer the main course and dessert. We will battle for each meal. If we lose, we will not get that course of the meal."

Now the couple made it to the restaurant. The restaurant was very fancy for a place that you battle for your food. It was clear a table was at the end of a battlefield. The table was covered in a tablecloth, nice glasses, and utensils correctly placed. When Brad and Kimber sat down at the table one waiter lit a candle on the table. After that two people walked up to the they were both farmers. "We stand for where the food comes from. We battle with Pokémon that help raise the food that we serve at the is restaurant."

The two Pokémon that the farmers started off with is Parasect and Tauros. "The Tauros helps us plant the fields. While Parasect plants the seeds with its own hands." Brad laughed a little when he sent out his own Tauros. While Kimber used her Flareon for this fight. Then Flareon put up a pillar of fire in a spiral. Parasect was trapped in a fire spin attack. Now the Tauros both used double edge at the same time. Their horns were locked in a steep conflict. They broke apart and then Brad used Zen headbutt on the other Tauros. While the farmer's Tauros used double edge on Brad's Tauros. While all this was happening Flareon used it position to use fire blast on Parasect. This caused Parasect to be knocked out. Parasect was changed out for Scyther. "This Pokémon is used to cut down great trees to make the toothpicks for the restaurant." Said the Farmer. Then the farmer's Tauros went to use double edge on Flareon. Before that happened though Brad's Tauros hit it with double edge and knocked out the Tauros. Then Flareon used fire blast on Scyther. The farmer replaced his Tauros with Dugtrio. "The Dugtrio makes the ground fertile for the plants." Then Tauros started to gallop towards Dugtrio to use Zen headbutt. Then Dugtrio tripped Tauros over, and Dugtrio used earthquake attack. This greatly hurt Flareon and Tauros, but Scyther was not hurt because it is a flying type. Then Dugtrio was very successful using dig attack on Flareon and Tauros. Both Tauros and Flareon were both knocked out. Now Brad used Blastoise and Kimber used Jolteon. Now Dugtrio when straight for a dig attack on Jolteon. Blastoise started to used rain dance while Dugtrio was underground. Jolteon jumped as soon as Dugtrio came above the ground. That is when Jolteon used thunder on Scyther. While Blastoise used hydro pump on Dugtrio. It was a double knockout for the other team, and they had one Pokémon left each. They used Poliwrath and Nidoking. "The Poliwrath helps us carry the big barrel of produce to the inside of barn, and to water the crops during the drier months. Nidoking also carries the produce, and fertilize the soil. Then Jolteon ran up Blastoise back and jumped up and shot Poliwrath with thunder. It did not miss because of the rain was pounding down. Then Nidoking got hit by a massive attack from Blastoise. The hydro pump knocked it of its feet. Then Poliwrath used submission on Blastoise. Nidoking went in for a Megahorn on Jolteon. Jolteon used a thunder attack on both Poliwrath and Blastoise. Then the Megahorn attack landed on Jolteon for a triple knockout. Kimber and Brad looked at each other and both used Dragonite. They both used ice beam attack to knock out Nidoking. "Now you get eat your wonderful breadsticks." Said both of the farmers.

Now the next too looked like chefs. "We are now going to show you what the Pokémon that help in the kitchen look like. They help cook the food and bring it to the exact right temperature. Oh, and when those meals are to the perfect temperature, we cannot touch them ourselves. We use our Pokémon to get the extra hot surfaces. This is the safest way to work in our kitchen." Then the two chefs used a Mr. Mime and a Magmar. Now Brad used his Lapras, and Kimber used her Gyardos. Now the chef started to used flamethrower on Magmar. Lapras used surf on Magmar. This pushed it forward to just get hit by Gyardos, and it aqua tail attack. Then Gyardos used thrash on the Mr. Mime, but Mr. Mime blocked with barrier. Then Mr. Mime threw another punch back it was a thunder punch attack. Which was four times super effective attack. That is when Gyardos saw a opening and hit Mr. Mime back with a thrash attack. Then Gyardos hit Mr. Mime with another trash attack. The Lapras landed a body slam attack on top of Mr. Mime. Mr. Mime held Lapras up with a barrier. Then it broke and Mr. Mime had a Lapras on top of it. Then Lapras and Gyardos used surf and aqua tail to hit Magmar. This was a double knock out. Then the chefs used Kadabra and Growlithe. Then Gyardos wrapped its body around the neck of Lapras. The speed of Lapras got the duo to Kadabra before it could teleport. Gyardos used crunch on Kadabra. This took the Kadabra out of the battle and then Lapras took out Growlithe with a surf attack. Then the chefs used Charizard and a Hypno. Lapras then started to sing a song. "LAAAAAAAPRAS" sung the Pokémon. This was a perish song. Charizard blew fire at the duo with flamethrower. Then Hypno used confusion. They attacked and attacked but it was useless because all four Pokémon fainted on the third turn. The chef then explained "Now it is time for your main course. I have made a Tauros steak, a grilled leek from Farfetch'd, a Shellder meat grilled and sautéed tiny mushroom. I hope you enjoy your meal. You were a fun battle. Thank you for eating with us today."

Then two waiters came out. The waiters used Lapras and Jynx. The waiters said, "Now we use the ice type Pokémon to get the perfect chill on the ice cream that we make in this restaurant." Brad brought out his well-rested Blastoise and Kimber used Jolteon. Brad started the battle with a rain dance attack. While Jolteon cracked a powerful thunder attack on Lapras right on the horn. Then Jynx put her big lips out and kissed Blastoise with a Lovely Kiss. Blastoise fell asleep during the battle. Now Lapras used thunderbolt on Blastoise. Jolteon used thunder on Lapras again and Lapras fainted. Then the waiter used Lickitung. "I have used my Lickitung to text the food for years. I know it's just right through his smile." Said the waiter. Then Lickitung got hit by two massive pillars of water. Blastoise had woken up, shot a a hydro pump, and it was empowered by the rain. Lickitung was defeated almost immediately. Then Jolteon knocked out Jynx by using Pin missile relentlessly. Then two Pokémon were replaced by Kingler, and Chansey. Kingler started of the battle with a guillotine attack on Jolteon and Jolteon fainted. The Kimber used her Dragonite. Kingler used slash on Dragonite. Dragonite then hit Kingler away with dragon tail. Then Blastoise blasted Chansey away with a surf attack. Then Dragonite hit Kingler with a thunder punch attack. The Kingler and Dragonite were at a standoff. Kingler then used slash Dragonite dodged and nailed Kingler with thunder punch. Kingler fell and was knocked out. Then they used a Ponyta as their final Pokémon. "We actually toughen our Ponyta through battles to then fry up in a treat that will fill all your nutrition needs in a day." Said the waiter. Then Blastoise used rain dance one more time. Then called upon a tidal wave with surf. This hit both Chansey, and Ponyta that is when it happened to be a double knock out. "Congratulations you now to get a wonderful Oran berry ice cream with Pecha berry Crepes. Please try to enjoy your dessert. I know that you have made better bonds with you and your Pokémon. Oh and you probably have gotten to know you friend better as well."

The Brown Pokémon

Now Brad went to the task wall to pick up a task from the Bulletin Board. THEIF STEALING THINGS AROUND TOWN was the task that Brad took. Now Brad thought this was interesting and that it might have something to do with the Bounty Hunter Squad. Therefore, he chose to do this so that he could take them down again. So far, the thief stole from three houses in Garnet City. Brad thought that if he went to the three houses, he could find clues to catch this dastardly thief.

The first was the house to a very old lady. "Oh, hello aren't you a cute little boy. What can I do for you today." Brad was very embarrassed because he was called cute by this elderly lady. "Ma'am I am her to investigate the robberies that have been happening around town." The elderly woman looked impressed that Brad had taken such an important job. "Oh yes sweetheart. I was baking an Oran Berry Pie for my grandkids that were coming. It was not exactly stolen, but some thief ate the entire middle of out the hot pie that had cooling off in the window seal. When I saw that the pie was ruined, I saw a brown stripe flash across my yard. I think that it was the thing that stole my delectable pie. You should have heard those young one's holler when they figured out, they were not getting pie. It was a mess I had to take them for ice cream right at the parlor up the road." Then Brad said, "The Bounty Hunter Squad must have gotten new outfits because they do not usually wear brown." The Old Lady gave him a look and said "I have heard about those Bounty Hunter Squad. They do not seem the type to steal pie. They usually steal Pokémon, don't they? If they were going to steal pie, they would have just taken the container. This thing ate out the middle like some creep." Then Brad said "They must not have taken the container because it was hot! I knew it the Bounty Hunter Squad is up to some very nefarious deeds. I am going to find out what they are up to."

The next house was a father and daughter. The little daughter said "The brown flash took my Pikachu plushie. I really want it back I can only sleep when I am holding it in my arms. It protects me from the Hypno under the bed." Brad shuttered a little bit when she said Hypno under the bed." The father said "I offered to buy her another one, but she said it has to be that one. It is special to her. Do you really think that you can get it back to her?" Brad said "I am confident. I have beaten the Bounty Hunter Squad multiple times. They must have thought you plushie was a real Pokémon. Lucky for us that it is not real. They do really bad things to Pokémon." The girl started to bawl when Brad said this. The girl said "You have got to save my plushie before they do weird experiments on it or worse throw it into the trash." The Father said "The nice man said that he would find it. We will have to trust him to find this even if it is a group of bad bounty hunters. We have to trust him." The girl looked up at Brad and said, "Save Pikachu for me."

The last house was a young woman that lived alone. "Uh yeah, they got my Oddish. It was my first Pokémon and my only Pokémon. I got it to guard my house. One stun spore and no one is getting to my house. That is until that brown streak got it. I honestly do not know what I am going to do without Oddish. It was my favorite friend. I needed my little buddy for protection from this big bad world." Brad said I KNEW IT! It is the Bounty Hunter Squad. They were hungry so they stole the pie. They thought the Pikachu was real, so they stole that to. Then they got Oddish so that they could use it to fight." The young lady started to weep for her old Pokémon that was now going to fight for evil. Then she realized, and explained to Brad "NO I saw that Pokémon those Bounty Hunter Squad people use Pokémon exclusively from Mersonia. This was a Manji Pokémon. It is a Pokémon named Doduo. Why do you think it was that Bounty Hunter Squad?" Brad said "Well I have been running into them A LOT. It is like a divine joke at this point."

Brad went back to the first lady's house and asked her if she could make another Oran Berry Pie. She was more than happy to oblige since she would have the opportunity to meet the brown stripe. Then Brad took the Oran Berry Pie outside and put the pie down under a tree. Then the Doduo ran up to pie. One head was cover in blue juices. The other went down and ate the pie. It seemed like it was these heads turn to eat. The plushie was riding on the head of the Oddish that had its legs around one of the necks of the Doduo. The head that was not eating was ever vigilant that no one would catch the brown stripe. What that head was not expecting was for Brad's Pikachu to fall from the tree. Then Pikachu used thunderbolt on the Doduo. This also hurt Oddish, but the plushie was fine. Then Doduo started to peck at Pikachu on its back, but Pikachu was quick as well. The heads kept hitting Oddish instead of Pikachu. Pikachu tied its tail around the neck of one of the heads Then Pikachu went under the Doduo and used thunder on it. The Doduo was weakened, and Brad captured the brown stripe Doduo.

Then Brad brought Oddish back to the young lady. "I am sorry about all of the damage that I did to your Oddish. You should probably take it to the Trainer Club. It needs to heal from the fight. Thank you for the information I got the Doduo with me now. I am going to train it not to steal from people, and then I will teach it how to Pokémon Battle. Thank you for helping me find the thief." Then Brad went to the house of the little girl while the sun was going down. It was just about to be the girl's bedtime. That is when Brad knocked on the door. The father was very relieved to see the plushie in Brad's hand. When the girl took the plushie she got a big shock of electricity from the plushie, and the thunder attack from the previous battle. "Now it actually shocks like a Pikachu thank you Brad!" Then Brad went back to the Trainer Club.

The Arena Battle

The next day Brad saw that there was an arena Battle happening at the Trainer Club that day. An Arena Battle was when twenty-four Pokémon entered an Arena and the last one standing would win the battle. Now there was many different plans on how to win these kinds of battles. Some tried to have the biggest Pokémon to knockout all of the other Pokémon. Brad had a different idea for the Arena Battle.

When Brad got to the Arena, he used his new Pokémon Doduo to fight for him. When the gong sounded Doduo got out of the main fight with the other small Pokémon. A Mankey got on top of Doduo and was using it for a quick ride. Now Doduo was not having this and used peck with one head while the other watched where it was going. The Mankey was the first Pokémon out of the battle. Brad could see a colossal fight that they wanted to avoid at all cost. It was Nidoking versus Alakzam. Nidoking used Megahorn and Alakzam used psychic neither of these Pokémon was going to win because they started to fight to soon. Usually, the big Pokémon lost because they fought to soon. Then Alakzam took out Nidoking, and its partner Nidoqueen. Which seemed like a team up before the battle which was not usually allowed.

Then Brad picked off some of the small Pokémon. Doduo got a Paras and a Oddish. They both threw stun spore at Doduo, but they were too slow to catch Doduo. Those Stun spore were met with vicious peck attacks. Which was super effective to both Pokémon. Both were defeated without them getting a scratch on Doduo. Now a Venasaur started to barrel towards Doduo. Doduo started to run but behind it was a Magmar. The Magmar breathed a flamethrower at Doduo, but it jumped right in time. That landed a massive attack on Venasaur. The Magmar tried again and again to get Doduo, but it kept missing an hitting Venasaur. Eventually the Venasaur fainted and The Doduo ran off in that direction.

Then a big boom went off it was a Electrode. The people that used Electrode never truly wanted to win. They wanted to see how many Pokémon they could take down with an explosion attack. This seemed to be one of the more effective time that this happened in an arena battle taking out a Raichu, Butterfree, Beedrill, Weepinbell, and the Alakzam that started the battle strong. Now Poliwrath and Hitmonchan where in a fist fight to see who had the better fighting type. Doduo waited outside of the battle and used both heads to be vigilant for other Pokémon. As soon as they both slowed down the brown stripe flashed in and used peck on both of the Pokémon to end the battle between the two. Then a Hitmonlee attacked Doduo. The Doduo out ran Hitmonlee and obliterated it with a flurry of peck attacks. The Hitmonlee fell down and was out of the battle.

Now on the other side of the Arena Magmar was still fighting. When two weaker water Pokémon attacked it. Staryu and Goldeen beat the Magmar with a. combo of water gun attacks. The n the two water Pokémon had a shocking realization that a Electabuzz was right behind them, and they were defeated. Then Electabuzz saw a Pidgeot flying above the rest waiting for the last Pokémon and shot a thunderbolt at it. Then it dropped from the air, and it was knocked out. Then a Tangela got both the legs of Electabuzz and tried to pull it to the ground. It failed when a Ponyta nailed it with a flame charge attack to knock it out. Then Lickitung attacked the Electabuzz. It was stopped by a Rhydon using bulldoze that knocked out all three of the Pokémon.

Now it was just Rhydon and Doduo. Brad was one Pokémon from winning the match. Rhydon looked at the Doduo and looked like it was amused. It was arrogant that it could beat the Doduo. Then Doduo took its beak and pulled down the eye lid of the other head. This was a disgrace to Rhydon, and it barreled towards Doduo with a bulldoze attack. It did not work because of Doduo's flying type. It mocked the Rhydon even more for not knowing that it would be effective. Then Rhydon attacked with a stone edge attack. Doduo's head fell down, and it did not look good. Then Doduo's head rose, and in the mouth of both heads was focus sash. Then both heads looked at each other and summoned a ball of energy that was five times the size of Rhydon. It made Rhydon fall, and it was shaking all over when it got up. The endeavor attack was successful. Then the brown stripe flew with a quick attack to Rhydon. While it was running it started to glow and turned into a Dodrio. With the quick attack the Rhydon fell down and was knocked out. Brad was the champion of the arena battle.

"Now who is shocked by this? The up-and-coming trainer Brad has won the arena battle! Now for future references I am being facetious. You should always be betting on Brad to win the day. I would even bet that one day he will give Blake a run for his money for Champion. Now Brad was the rank of five hundred and thirty-four but now after winning the arena with a Doduo! He has confidently moved up to four hundred and sixty-two. Now that is a super far way from where he started. He started at rank ten thousand just this year, but he wants to be the top trainer. Thank you for competing Brad, and congratulations on being the winner of the Arena battle." Now Brad proudly went for a rest at the Trainer Club and saw all of his friends. He tried to brag about his win, but he found out that they had similar ranks as him. Hayden had made it all the way to three hundred and fifty-one. While Michael was six hundred and seventy-nine. While Kimber was the most impressive with a total of being number one hundred and ninety. Brad knew that all of his training was coming to a peak. He knew that he would have to train even harder to reach his goal, and he would need to strengthen his Pokémon just to beat his friends in battles. After the new vigor that ran through Brad's veins he trained a little more that day and then decided to take a well-deserved rest at the Trainer Club.

The Green Chansey

Now Brad saw Scott, and he looked more downtrodden on this day. Brad asked Scott "Hey why do you seem so down?" Scott replied "I am trying to capture the elusive green Chansey. It is what is called a shiny Pokémon. Chansey in and of itself is a elusive Pokémon so I am having a difficult time. I am trying to give it to this girl that I am sweet on. Her favorite Pokémon is Chansey. She loves how it heals the little Pokémon that get injured from their fights to get stronger. She also love the color green because it helps the Pokémon camouflage itself from predators. I think that I could get her attention if I got her the green Chansey. So would you help me capture the elusive green Chansey to help me win the girl." Brad thought about the girl that he liked. As he thought about Kimber, he knew that he would have to help Scott capture the green Chansey. Then Brad called Professor Cypress. Brad said "Hey you are making me a living Pokédex and keeping them at your ranch. Could you send me a Machop? Yeah, I need for a little job that I have going."

Then Brad got Machop and ran outside to hear the cry of a tiny Pokémon. It was clear that a Rattata had just lost a battle. Brad, and Scott ran to see the Pokémon that was injured. There it was giving the green Chansey giving the Rattata a egg. The Rattata jumped up and attacked Brad because of the energy from the egg. In the chaos Chansey ran off, but the Rattata was still attacking. Then Machop used low kick on the Rattata. Then Machop screamed in pain when Rattata used hyper fang to bite the leg of Machop. Then Machop threw its hand on the air and screamed "MACHOOOOOP!" This is what trainers called a focus energy attack. The Rattata still hung on to the leg of Machop. It still had some pain, but Machop used karate chop right on the head of Rattata. The attack was a critical hit on the Rattata. Then Rattata used quick attack and it did not do much damage to Machop. Then Rattata used tackle, and Machop used low kick. Then Rattata wailed and was knocked out. Then two eggs appeared right next to the Pokémon. Then they both ate the eggs, and they both healed.

That is when Brad heard another Pokémon scream, and wail in pain. The Pokémon this time was a Charmander. The green Chansey was one hundred yards away before Brad got anywhere near the attacked Pokémon. Then Charmander was ready to battle, and both of its claws grew on Charmander. Then Charmander ran towards Machop and jumped over it with its claws. Then Charmander shot a pillar of fire at the Machop, and it swirled around it. Then Charmander jumped into the spiral and started to use scratch with its massive claws. Machop skillfully dodged the scratch attacks. Then as Machop jumped to dodge a scratch it screamed "MACHOOOOOP." It used focus energy then bopped Charmander on the head with a karate chop attack. Charmander used ember in the close quarters. Then Machop used power up punch for the first time on the face of Charmander making the ember attack miss. Then Machop used power up punch again on the body of the Charmander. This made Charmander light footed, and Machop got the knockout with one more low kick to the face. Then with a flash of green there was two eggs for the Pokémon to heal up with after their battle. Scott then said "Hey Brad thank you for the help, but you really do not have to do all of this for me. I want to catch this Pokémon, but I can get her attention in another way." Brad then was appalled and said "I would never give up on your goals. I am going to help you catch this Pokémon."

Now the two heard the wailing of a Pokémon, and when the two made it a Sandshrew was there. Now the Sandshrew went for the rollout attack immediately. Then Machop used low kick in the air, and shot Sandshrew up. Then Machop kept shooting the Sandshrew in the air. It was bouncing the Sandshrew with low kick. Now this did a little damage on the Macop, but did great damage on the Sandshrew. When the green Chansey ran towards the Pokémon Machop used low kick to trip the Chansey. The Chansey begrudgingly gave the two Pokémon an egg. Then Machop healed with the egg.

Then Brad and Scott saw a very pretty girl with green hair in a single braid. "Hey Ashley! How are you today?" Ashley responded "I am doing well! How are you? Is the Trainer Club doing well?" Scott said "Yeah everything is okay. Have you seen the green Chansey that has been roaming around the town recently. Uh yeah, I have actually. I would love to have that beautiful Pokémon all for my own, but I have not been able to track it down. Quite unfortunate it is a very pretty Pokémon." Scott said "Yeah I have tried to capture it myself for a uh friend…" Ashley said "Oh this friend is quite lucky that you would put in all the work to capture it. I will tell you what I will have a battle with Brad here. I think that it might lure the Pokémon here. Then we can see who catches it…"

Then Ashley chose her Pokémon it was a Meowth. Meowth rushed towards Machop with a fury swipes attack with its long claws. Machop ducked to doge the attack and with a uppercut movement Machop used power up punch on the face of Meowth. Then Meowth laid down a attack from a distance with a pay day attack. Machop started to greedy catch the money, and when it got near Meowth had to use low kick because its hands were full. Machop brought all of the money back to Brad and then used power up punch on Meowth. The Meowth used a slash attack, but Machop jumped backwards. While the arm was outstretched Machop clocked Meowth with a power up punch. The attack had been raised multiple times which knocked out the Meowth. Ashley then said "Hey you are good! You kept my Meowth on the ropes the entire time. I think that you should be good. How many gym badges do you have?" Then Brad said "I have thirteen gym badges. I have been competing in every city that I come to." Then Ashley laughed "I have only had five gym badges. That is why you beat me."

Then the green Chansey ran up to give an egg to both the Pokémon. Then Brad used Dodrio to run up and stop the green Chansey with its great speed. The green Chansey was trapped into a battle. Dodrio used tri attack on Chansey. Then Chansey used egg bomb on the three heads of Dodrio. They caught the eggs in their mouth. They all blew up in the beaks of the Dodrio. Brad called the Dodrio back, but Machop got a power up punch on the back of Chansey. Now Machop dodged a egg bomb from Chansey, and used the explosion to boost its jump towards Chansey. Then Chansey was smacked with a low kick attack. The low kick attack came with great power because of all the power punches that had happened in the battle and the previous one. This made the Chansey fall on the ground and gave it a second of hesitation. Scott through a Pokeball that whizzed past Machop and nailed the back of Chansey. The ball blinked once then twice and then for the final time. Scott had caught the elusive green Chansey. Ashley then said "Well I guess that decides who gets to catch it…". Then Scott replies "Yeah you." Ashley questioned "What do you mean?" Scott said "Look I only took the day off to catch this Pokémon. I walked all over town to find it. It was quite tricky to capture. I had to have a good trainer help me do it. I caught this Pokémon because I am in love with you Ashley. I did all this so you could have your pretty Pokémon." Ashley laughed "Well thank you! I only came out here because I heard you were trying to capture this Pokémon. I was going to give it to you. Then I was going to declare that I wanted to go on a date with you. I wanted that Pokémon, but not as much as I wanted you. That being said I got the green Chansey! YAY!" Then Scott said "I am glad that you are happy with your gift. Would you like to go to dinner tonight?" Then the happy couple went to dinner. Brad made it back to the Trainer Club and began to make the preparations to cross the volcano to go to Jackson the next day. Brad knew that the perils of what he was going to face and was ready for the great adventure.
