Family Can Come As If By Magic

Chapter 6
As the months flew by both Cedric and Sofia became closer a family along with the Royal Family of Enchancia, becoming a blended family of sorts.
King Rolan and Queen Lorelei were given the roles of Aunt and Uncle by Sofia, while James, Amber and Madeline became her cousins/siblings.
Cedric was nervous at first when Sofia started calling them that, but they were happy with the title and so he decided that he didn't mind being called Uncle by the twins as he was already an uncle because of his niece...
Facepalming himself, Cedric groans as he was reminded that he had yet to tell his family that he had a child and his biological child at that.
When Sofia's appearance started to change, it happen with her once redish/brown hair becoming a dark brown, she still had her mother's small nose and instend of the both the of her blue eyes changing into brown, only one changed, leaving her with one blue and one brown eye, her cheeks became slight higher, but since she was still a child it's hard to say how tall she will be until she hit puberty.
Thankfully he had warned the Royal family and Baileywick about this so as to not confuse her for someone else. But when Sofia finally saw the changes at first she was shocked, but the same time relieved? When Cedric asked her about it she answered.
"I always felt like I wasn't, who I was suppose to look like and now that I am, it just feels right."
Cedric was relieved when he heard that, afraid that she might hate her new look, but she proved him wrong as usual.
"My dear, would you like to meet your grandparents, Aunt and your other Cousin?" Cedric asked knowing that the girl would love to meet them.
The smile on her face said it all for him as she hugged him, which he returned quite happily.
"Let's go write the family."
Cedric sat at his desk with Sofia in his lap as he with her help wrote the letters to both his parents and sister and with a poof they were gone to their respective persons and so they decided to play the magic version of checkers which was made a alittle hard, because you have to say the latin word Motus to move your piece and the number of times you want to move and if you get your pieces on top of eachother you have to say "Rex Mihi" the latin words for King Me and whom ever wins the most, will wins.
"Motus 2 and Rex Mihi." Sofia was surprisingly a quick study and without much help she was beating Cedric at Magic Checkers for the 4th time in row.
"Merlin's Mushroom, I was sure that had that time."
Sofia giggles at her silly Papa and soon notices that there were two scrolls sit ontop of her Papa's desk.
"Papa, the letters are back."
Cedric gets up and goes to his desk opens first letter and whines alittle when he reads the contents, but decided that he will deal that later and reads the other one and groans at what it said, but he knew that he would have to face them all sooner or later and he knew that he had some explaining to do when saw his parent come out of their portrait.
"Oh Ceddy-kins, she is so cute!" Winfred said happily
"You better have good explaination, Cedric." Goodwyn said gruffly
Cedric puts his face into his hands and says his usual phase...
"Merlin's Mushroom..."
Sofia looks at her Papa concern and alittle scared at the new people who came out a picture.
"Mother, Father, please just let me explain-"
Cedric was cut off by a familiar cry of...
"Uncle Ceddy!"
Cedric soon had a overactive four year hugging his middle as Sofia just sat there still confused and scared as ever.
"Mr. Ceedric? Sofia?" Madeline came in when she the saw door was open and was surprised to see Goodwyn the Great and his wife along with Cedric's sister Cordelia and her daughter, Calista all in the workshop.
"Maddy!" Sofia runs over to her and all but drags her where she was sitting at the table and started to ask the Princess who the people in the room were.
"The two older people are Goodwyn the Great and his wife Winifred the Wise, don't worry, is nice just grumpy sounding at times and is very friendly." Madeline explains easing some of Sofia's nervousness.
Meanwhile with Cedric...
"Calista? Oh dear I forgot that I had to babysit you today." Cedric said as he patted the girl on her head.
"Cedric! We need explaination as why we just find out that you have a child." Goodwyn exclaims.
Cordelia looks at her father and mother as they lost their minds and looks for Cedric to explain.
"Yes I have a daughter and no I did know she existed until few months ago, so please go back to Mystic Mellows, I will tell you at a better time maybe we can do brunch."
"Fine, how does the tomorrow sound." Winifred said as her husband appears back to their cottage.
Cedric was flustered and said in distractingly frustranted as he tried keep his balance with a clingy toddler.
"Yes, yes! Tomorrow." Cedric exclaimed making his mother smile before she too disappeared back home.
Cordelia looks over to where both where Madeline and Sofia were, gave the younger girl a look of disgust, before turning back to Cedric saying with a her usual smirk.
"I will back in a few hour to pick up Calista, ta-ta."
She was gone before Cedric could another word as he tried to get Calista off.
"Calista, do you want to meet Sofia, she is really nice."
"Yes, yes, yes!" Calista was almost bouncing with energy as they turned to both Madeline and Sofia who were talking in hushed whispers.
"Why did she look at me like that?" Sofia asked.
"I don't know, but I would careful around Cordelia the Conjuror, she isn't as nice as she appears to be."
Sofia nods before looking to see her Papa and Calista coming over to greet them.
"Hi Sofia, I am your cousin, Calista and I am 4 years old and I love magic!"
Both Madeline and Sofia smile at the excited girl, seeing how sweet she is, even if her mother wasn't so nice.
"Why don't you three go play in the gardens I will be there in moment to play with you."
The three girls looked at eachother and smile widely and ran off to the garden, leaving an exhausted, but smile Cedric behind as he was given a few moments of peace before he had to go run around play with the children.

Sofia said why'?
Madeline said no no one knows why" Sofia but Aunt Cordelia is just like that"
Sofia nods before looking to see her Papa and Calista coming over to greet them.
"Hi I am Calista, I am fours year old and I love magic!"
"Hi Calista, I am Sofia and this Maddy, we are your cousins."
Calista was so happy that she had another girls her own age to play with and asked her Uncle if they could play outside.
"Yes go play in the garden, I will be out in few moments to see how you are doing and maybe we can do lunch outside as well."
Cedric swore he went deaf from the loud squealing as all three girls ran out of his workshop and towards the garden.
