For Cedric it was hard for him to believe that his daughter was already 8 years old and ready to go to Hexley Hall.
"Papa, have you seen my robes, I can't seem to find them and I looked everywhere."
Cedric was startle out of his musing and smiles at his little girl and with a simple wave of his wand, he summonds the missing robes and hands them to a grateful Sofia.
"I remember when you were little, you used to wear my robes, even though it was to large for you, but you looked so cute."
Sofia blushes, but smiles as she recalls doing that when she first came to live with her Papa as she had been shy and scared after the loss of her mother.
Hearing a knock on his workshop door, Sofia answers and was greeted by Amber and James, her adopted cousins.
"Sofia, are you excited to start your first day at Hexley Hall!" James said happy for his little cousin as she was going to be learning all things magic and sorcery at her dream school as Madeline hugs her cousin happy for her.
"Yes, but I am a little nervous." Sofia said as Cedric squeezes her shoulder to reassure her as Madeline nods in agreement.
"It perfectly normal to have first day jitters, Sofia and Maddy just do your best, work hard and have fun!" Amber said as she takes both Madeline's and Sofia's hands in her own and smiles warmly.
"They are correct, Sofia and Madeline, the first day is always scary, but we all believe in you."
Sofia looks up and sees her Uncle Rolan and Aunt Lorelei standing the doorway smiling.
Cedric clears his throat to gain everyones attention and says...
"Lets see the children off to their first day or in the twins case first day back to school."
All the parents and children walked out of the castle and into one of the larger carriages and off they when.
The first drop off was at Royal Prep for Amber, James and Madeline after a round of hugs and will wishes, the reminding trio was off towards Hexley Hall.
When Sofia saw the castle get closer, the more she felt scare and it must of shown on her face as her Papa put an arm around her to help comfort and ease her anixety.
When the carriage landed, they were clearly not the only ones with kids that were starting their first day. Cedric saw that were many that were so scared to even get out of the carriages, that the parents had to magically leviant the children out.
Looking towards Sofia, he saw that she was ready follow him out along with the King and Queen right behind her.
Cedric kneels down to Sofia level and gives her a hug, before pulling away and looking into her blue and brown eyes.
"Have a good first day at school, be good and study hard and have fun as well, I will be here later to pick you up, okay?"
Sofia nods and says...
"I love you Papa, see you later."
Cedric smiles widens and replies..
"I love you too, my little sorcereress."
After wave goodbye to the King and Queen, Sofia walks into the castle.
Sofia was amazing at the magical enterance, along with the other students and was greeted by the Headmaster Grimtrix the Good, who smiled at them kindly.
"Welcome to Hexley Hall, where you will being learning all there is to know about magic and how to use it."
Sofia nervousness disappears quickly at hearing the Headmaster's speech.
"Now let's get a quicky tour of the school and what the rules are and the consquences for breaking them."
Sofia half listens as she takes in the pictures of every famous sorcerer, sorcereress, wizard and witch in history and all the classes that she will learning from for the next few years.
"Now that is the end of our tour, any questions?"
Grimtrix looks around the group of students and seeing no one raising their hand, he decide to proceed and simply hands everyone their timetables for the first term.
Sofia is so excited to learn everything at this school and excited to see what she would be learning tomorrow.

7:00 am - Latin and Chanting
8:00 am - Tranfigurations
9:00 am - Charms
10:00 am - Defence Magic
11:00 am - Potions
12:00 pm - Lunch
1:00 pm - Study Hall
2:00 pm - Runes
3:00 pm - Recess
4:00 pm - Going Home
After reading her schedule, she along with some other first years, decide to explore the castle and learn their way around so that they don't get lost and get in trouble for being late.
When Sofia decided to go explore the library, she didn't realize she was being followed, until she was shoved to the floor outside the enterance.
Turning around, she is face to face with two other first years who were sneering at her.
"You don't belong here, you little wannabe." One girl said as the other continues to scowl.
Sofia was shocked and quickly gets up and confronts her.
"You don't know me and I don't know you."
"Names, Ivy Venenum and this is Jene Solani and you are Sofia, bastard daughter of Cedric the Sensational."
"I am not that word, my father offcially claimed me as his legal daughter and only heiress."
Both Jene and Ivy just glare at her and walk away, Sofia stares back at both girls, trying very hard not to cry at the girl's hateful behavior towards her.
'My first day and I have already have a bully, great.'
Sofia thought bitterly as she remembers the children at her old school, who bullied her so bad that her Papa had Uncle Rolan arrest the teacher and Sofia homeschooled up until now.
Shaking her head, she continues into the library and soon forgets about her encounter as she runs her fingers over the spines of books.
Grabbing a random book, she quickly finds a table and starts to read and finds that it is a potions book and from the looks of it, it was advance.
She was so caught up in reading that she was startle by a gentle tap on her shoulder and quickly looks up and sees her Papa standing beside her, smiling proudly.
But before Sofia could say Cedric shh's her and gesters her to follow him out.
Onces out of the library, Sofia embraces Cedric and starts to chat about her day and what she learned about the school and classes she was taking.
Cedric knew this stuff already, but he was happy to let her talk as if it was the newest thing.
