Disclosed wrestling studio, there's a lone ring with a ramp matching it with a lone titantron and side screens.
Son Goku is sitting in the ring with majority of the Shonen Jump main characters are surrounding the ringside area.
There's a table, a contract and the PWA World Championship. Goku is sitting across the empty seat, facing the titantron.
[Randy Orton: Voices]
Eren Jaeger came out to the studio, walking up to the ring. Slowly making his way into the ring. Looks down to see the contract then sign it.
Ready to leave...
'Hold on, Jaeger,' Goku spoke up, which stops Eren midway. 'Don't you want to banter for a bit? Talk? Since I book this place for us to speak, I don't want to waste it for something that can meager as that,' Goku nods to Naruto who hold the chair for Eren who looks back.
Grabbing the chair then decided to sit down then stares at Goku with cold eyes.
'That's good of you. I wanted to talk for a bit...'
'Get to the point. What is the meaning of our match? Out of everyone here, and out of all of the potential challengers, you choose me?'
'Actually, there is some logic behind why I choose you,' Goku waves for the Collision Course briefcase then been given as such, then put it on the table. 'You see this here? You won thing back at Deadman's Hand, and wasn't given your proper World Championship match back at Global Warfare due to being involved with that Final Warfare match. So this match was bound to happen, whether you like it or not, I'm just fulfilling our contractual obligation here. But what bothers me, is that why be involved with that match back at Global Warfare?'
Eren seems bored at Goku. 'Simple. I just want to hurt people, let them feel what actual warfare feels. I didn't really care about having that match against you for the World Championship or not. As long I dish out some hatred onto my opponents, I can care less on what's my next match,' Looking at the belt and the briefcase. 'I wasn't bother gonna ask, but why did you got involved by being in that battle royal?'
'Easy. You were in the main event, so I decided to compete in the opening match.'
'Sounds boring. You could have any challenger you want, and you decided to compete against 39 other men. But I can see your logic behind our contest, so I can't deny it.'
Goku seems to be annoyed. 'You mentioned that I could have any challenger I wanted to compete for this belt, and I did have original plans of my own. Like originally, I was planning on competing against Luffy, Naruto, and Ichigo for Deadman's Hand. And I did want to compete against Saitama at one point but I scrap the idea for my finale match, to compete against Izuku and Chihiro Rokuhira, as the past vs. present vs. future type of match. But, it was Dreamwork that cost me everything.'
'Dreamwork?'
Goku annoyed. 'Yeah. I tell Armin to pull Joey out of that match, because it wasn't fair for him. Why does he get a title match in a tag team contest rather than a traditional singles contest. So I had second thoughts of that four way contest, and then wanted it at Dragon Star but then you decided to compete in the Final Warfare match, so I decided to do the opposite. That Declaration of War match was my way of challenging myself. And if the stars are aligned, I wanted this match up. Because to me, you're My final boss that I need to win against.'
Eren sign. 'So it is that. How predictable. This is because that I had beaten you twice, and ironically, everything had started out at Deadman's Hand where I had beaten you for the first time. Your first defense, my Collision Course win. Global Warfare where I beaten you for the second time by,' Eren chuckled. 'your Spirit Bomb. You won the Declaration of War match, while I was on the winning team of Final Warfare. Personally, I could had competed for the World Title at the Festival, but I might be preoccupied. It's funny how things turn out to be this way.'
'It is.'
'And you wanted this match, at your own home. Which, been bothering me for the longest time. I don't hold the World title match as high regards as you, but you could've force Karma there to pull me away from the match, so we can have our third match together. So why didn't you do that?'
'Like you said, I want our match to be at my home country of Japan. Where I can beat you, and finally, beat the one who beat them all.' Goku smirks. 'We both lost two single matches, who, we both had avenged those losses this year alone. You butchered Midoriya at the start of the year, then you mauled your best friend at Horror's Eve. But at Horror's Eve, I had beaten Joey Wheeler in an half hour long contest. Then I had beaten Kirito last event. Multi-person matches, I don't really call those "real matches", and it may be ironic coming from me, but in these contests, I prefere single matches. As a wrestling traditionalist, singles match is the best way to tell on who's the best. Battle royals I can digest easier, since it's about survival. Multi people? No. It's a glorify free-for-all where there's no real winners or losers, and rely more on luck rather than skill. And having you beaten me, twice, is my one true challenge left. And I, as the PWA World Champion, I don't really call myself as the official World Champion. I'm more of a "Interim" World Champion till I beat you.'
Eren still giving off the cold expression. 'And that's why you always made yourself as the opening match to my main event matches? So you can finally call yourself the real World Champion? And coming from me, how childish. Why does it matter to you, on beating me? You're the Champion. I'm the Challenger. Your the hero of the story, and I'm the villain to you. It's a simple wrestling dichotomy. It doesn't matter how you view you, you should always be the main event when I'm on the show. Your the Champion...'
'That's the point!' Goku interupted. 'That's the point, because to me, you're still the World Champion. And I am the Interim World Champion, keeping this warm for you.'
'Is that enough banter for you? Because I'm done here.' Eren is preparing to leave.
'No. I still want to talk.'
Eren sat back down.
'It's about more than this match. This is where it's supposed to be my final match, but if I win, I'll continue on being in PWA. So how does it feel to be my potentially final opponent?'
'Indifferent. I only see you as everyone else. Just an opponent for me to compete against. Either I win or lose, it all depends.'
'And how disrespectful you really are?'
'Quite.'
'You should feel honored. Because I want to correct everything. I'm here to apologize to everyone here.'
'And I shouldn't be here then.'
'Let me finish. First off,' Goku turns to Ichigo Kurosaki. 'To you Ichigo. I'm sorry that I had cancelled your series because I truly do believe that it was your highest moment right there and I still do. But I know I can't take back from the years I had taken away from you.'
'How cute, but Bleach is the Sakura of the Big Three. So there weren't anything saving them from those poor ratings. Nor saving them from the Disney treatment.'
'Speaing of women,' Goku then turns to EMMA. 'I'm sorry for screwing you over, but it's involved me being sexist that I truly believe that female leads can't be good leads in Shonen Jump. But the ammount of complaints I had been getting, seeing how big RWBY is, and I only gave Jolyne her own series by sending them to Netflix but she had managed to prove me wrong. I truly can't promise that the Promised Neverland will get a proper re-adaptation for Season 2, so there is no hope for you. I truly believe Arale can never be top as what a female lead should be. And DENJI...'
Everyone is looking at DENJI, watching Hentai on his smartphone.
'...yeah, I doubt he's actually listening nor caring. But as much I don't actually like him, like at all. I would rather have a hundred of Dark Schneiders than one DENJI. And I know that his vision of My Shonen Jump is going down the path of... whatever he wants. But I want to let everyone here know that I want a positive Shonen Jump where the main character can prove that hardwork, and a positive attitude can do anything if they put their mind to it. So he's just there for a moment till someone else will take the mantle of one of the either Big Three or Four Pillars as the next leaders to bring the world together. DENJI and his story always reminds me of you, when you came to my office to pitch the Attack on Titan story. And when I rejected you, I thought your story will be a one-and-done deal, but you had proven me wrong that you can achieve that goal.'
'But...?'
'But it's the way that you conducted. The way you had managed to screwed over what a positive role model of a brand I wanted to spread. You're that big bad villain, that wanted to prove that the world itself is as miserable as you. You want to world, a fantasy world where all creators and everyone else in it, want to escape from it. The amount of hate they want to escape from it, but only for you to remind them, and sickily, torture them by bringing your cruel bitter reality. Like there's no real happy endings. I don't like the way that Shonen Jump is slowly becoming by enguff into Your darkness, so people can be as miserable and despised as you. I want to bring hope to everyone. Whether if they're good or bad.'
Eren isn't bothered by Goku speech. Actually, he enjoyed it with a grim smile. 'Are you done spreading that fictional, pathetical, and fake ideal of "hope"? Because it's such a broken ideal that someone like me, is bound to destroy it...'
Goku interrupted. 'Before you start talking, nothing else matters to me, but beating you. All my victories, all of my losses, all the hardships I had to endured just to be here right now. All of that, doesn't matter until I beat you. I'm that one hero who will beat, the unbeatable. The Superman who risen from the beatings of Doomsday, to fight another day to beat you. I may had been called as Superman all my life, but there is truth behind it. Because you seem to forget the story of Son Goku. It's no matter who have beaten me, I will come back and beat them, because no matter how much darkness has been cast upon me, I will bring the light onto the world itself. Hope is the light. And your Hatred is nothing but pure evil. You need to understand that when Hope dies, the Future dies with it.'
Eren chuckled over the idea.
Goku is annoyed. 'Alright, what is your retort?'
"When Hope Dies, the Future Dies With It?"
Eren leans forward.
'Those are quite fighting words that you created. For once, it's actually an original thought that you came up with. Cute. But sadly... you're right.'
Goku is surprised. 'Come again?'
'You're absolutely right, or at least to a certain degree. What happen when Hope dies? There is no future. It depends on who's Future dies with it? For me, unlike everyone here, I'll keep moving forward. Till I destroy anyone who gets in my way. And seeing you, you want to remain as that big man of Anime. The feeling of important, but also made everyone afraid to walk up to for a job opportunity. I should know that feeling, but you had killed My hope back then but unlike you, I kept moving forward for My future. And here we are.'
Goku nods at this.
'This reminds me of the story. A horror urban story with the most beautiful ending of them all,' Eren placed the belt down in-between them, leans back then place his feet on the table, and putting his feet on the belt itself. 'Ever heard the Story of Skidmore?'
'Sounds familiar, but enlighten me.'
'There was this town bully, who was the lowest of lows but had managed to become a Tyrannical King of Skidmore. The Skidmore Tyrant. He can do whatever he wants, and gotten away with everything that is inhuman, crimes against decent humanity itself. And he managed to win, win, and win, till one day, the people of Skidmore, had enough when he had shot the Store Clerk on the throat and still lived. Fail to bring him to jail in the right way, the people of Skidmore had decided to kill him from behind if the justice system can't bring him into jail itself.'
'So the morale of the story is; push the common folk enough, vigilante justice is the only solution?'
'Not really, but I see it as this, well two morals of the stories but I'll start with the first; Freedom Killing, Justified Winning.'
'And the second?'
Eren smirk. 'The Bad Guys play fairs, it's the Good Guys have to cheat to win.'
Goku is baffled and lost with Eren's second morality. 'Alright then, explain. Because I can actually understand the first one, but the second? You kind of lost me there.'
'Gladly.'
Eren chuckles before explaning.
'But the first, I love it when people refuse to be slaves. Refuse to be under fear where the bad guy wins. Imagine a beautiful world where you can kill evil without any remorse, without any fear of no guilt and crime. Kill to win, kill to live.'
'You see? That I can understand to a certain degree.'
'As for the second? Well, if you had seen this Skidmore Tyrant, who had done horrible things to someone. Like me. But whever he does something horrible on his free time, and the Good Guys want to bring him down, they couldn't win fairly. Which I find it quite ironic that you want to preach about your way, the right way to win, but sadly this Skidmore Tyrant, he done everything the right way and won. The more these people continue to accuse him, to bring him down the right way, he kept winning in their way. The right way. He may intimidate everyone, but they didn't want to sacrifice everything to bring him down, so they continue on being cattle to him. And if anyone who knows me, I hate people who don't want to be free, accepting their lives as cattle. Livestock. And because this Skidmore Tyrant keep winning in the right way, so the Good Guys have to come up with a cheating way to win. Like, actually winning for once. Imagine a world where you live under a Tyrant, and no matter how many times you want the Tyrant to lose in the right way, he kept winning in the right way. So the only way to win, is go for the permanent win. You want to know what that is?'
'Killing the Tyrant.'
'Correct. And imagine if killing the Tyrant is a success, everyone will celebrate the killer as a hero who slayed the Tyrant. And that's why I found that ending quite beautiful. The hypocrisy of winning, and it's the Good Guys have to cheat to win.'
Eren smiles while thumb eye wiping.
'And you find that "beautiful" to you?'
'Yes. Because why play with rules and constrictions, and do everything for the name of Freedom? No, killing is the true and purest form of freedom there is. The Skidmore Tyrant's death, I can compare it to the mass massacres of the Reign of Terror. 1789, a beautiful time period of killing.'
'To you, any period of killing is "Freedom"'
'True, but it's the meaning of Skidmore Tyrant's death that reminds me on why I respect those who decided to kill him, and everything I can do, is completely justified.'
"Justified?" Goku rolled his eyes. 'You're just a psychopath who wants an excuse to kill.'
'That may be true, but I still respect them for killing.'
'And I respect them for standing up for themselves against this Skidmore Tyrant. And that's the differences between us. The Good Guys won in the end.'
'By cheating since they can't learn on how to win fairly. You respect them for standing up, I respect them for winning.'
'Killing.'
'You still don't understand, and Hange said to me before that; Winning is Wrong.'
"Genocide is Wrong." Goku corrects him. 'You must had misheard her.'
Eren seem to be baffled by that, for the first time. 'I honestly can't tell the difference.'
'That's why we will never get along, and have different ideologies of what anime should be.'
Eren smirks. 'You think my ideas are wrong?'
'Yes.'
'Because the people of Skidmore just reminds me of those, who can't learn on how to win in life.'
'Killing people isn't the answer.'
'The only answer when people can't win in a boyscout honor way, the right way to social standards. And that's what I had been doing, ever since I been competing here, in PWA. Winning in a boyscout honor way. But if I can't be beat in the boyscout honor way, you'll cheat and you'll rely on everyone here to help you, win.'
'And I'll make sure that this will be a fair contest between us. If I lose, I lose. Simple as that.'
'But when you applied free will, it's not your choice that you will lose. It's everyone else here will make their choice. And when I stomp down hope itself, the Good Guys will cheat on your behalf.'
Eren looks around then smirks down at them then looks at Goku.
'You know, seeing your beloved brand and these main characters here, gave me a quote from a song of my series. Something that will predict the ending to your story.'
Goku chuckled. 'You do say?'
'Wanna hear it? But I ain't gonna sing it, just gonna say it.'
Goku allows it.
"Why were you crying? What are you dying for? Your dream, did it satisfy or terrify?"
Eren looks around. 'And this is where you all will be involved here.'
"Annoying pain in my head. The things left unsaid. I'm sorry, we had been relying on you, too much to be free."
Eren chuckled.
'This feeling reminds me of what I'm gonna do to you, because nobody isn't gonna save you. No matter how much you want to rig the game against me.'
'And I say, we'll do this like men. I'll beat you, in the right way.'
'The right way? And sadly, that's the part of wrestling dichotomy that is shifting. The Bad Guys are becoming the Good Guys, and the Good Guys are becoming the Bad Guys. Nobody cares about the purest good guy unless their on their last legs. Everyone loves the most eviliest bad guy unless they did horrible things in real life. So to me, when you say you want to win the right way? Then you better be prepared to lose, no the wrestling way, but more of a pride and morality way. Like, how I had managed to beat you twice. The first time, I did it as a bad guy who fought fairly, then the second as a true bad guy to your eyes. So what will be different now unlike then?'
Goku is baffled.
'I'll tell you, nothing. Because Hatred is Hopeful. And Hopeful is Hatred. You didn't understand it then, you'll understand it after our match. And I'm sure, Chiba, does. You said that I should be honored to be your potential final opponent, and thinking about it now? I am.'
Eren laughs.
'Because I'm not thinking about during it. I'm thinking after it. Because if I lose, somehow? I will be pissed off. And we all know how destructive I can be when I'm pissed.'
'But if you win?'
'When I win, I'll be happy. And my happiness and love, is more destructive than being pissed. Which is quite funny now I think about it. And if Togami face me happy? Like our last meeting, I'll victimize him. But for fun and for my own amusement. But if Chiba face me pissed? Then I'll victimized him till I'm happy.' Eren laughs even harder. 'Goku... you pretty much damned the entire PWA locker room after this match, because I'm gonna victizimed everyone. Out of my own amusement? Or till I'm happy? This is gonna be fun now.'
Goku stares at Eren when he's done laughing. 'And we're done here.' Goku stood up then grab the World Championship. Walking around the table and ready to leave the ring.
Eren smirks then turns. 'You're leaving? Because I thought you want to banter for a bit?' Eren stops Goku.
'And this bantering is done for us.' Goku is about to leave.
'And as your Real World Champion, I say we're done when I say we're done. So sit your ass back down, or else I need to win right now to make me happy.'
Goku eye twitches then walk back to his chair, staring down at Eren. 'Proceed.'
'Want to know why I respect winners? Like real winners of life.'
Goku shakes his head.
'Because I love that their dedication to win. But I lose respect to those who can't learn to win, and I don't mean, win in a boyscout honor way. I don't want to bring in reality, but to those who wants to win the boyscout honor way, or want those who have good intentions, they didn't want to really win. By example though? The jokers who want to storm Area 51, they didn't want to win. If you can't learn on how to win, then be prepared to be screwed over by the same system that was always on your side, so you can see the Bad Guys winning fairly.'
'Because not everyone is sick psychopath like you! Those who do want to win the "boyscout honor way" deserves to win in the end. Because the boyscout honor way is meant to be fair. People needs heroes who can do it right. Win it the right way. Your ideal world is cruel and bitter with reality, but what I want to do is bring My fantasy and enlightment upon that reality. To make it happen!'
'So unlike you, I'm gonna win but I'll do it in a boyscout honor way. Your way. But the moment the Good Guys will start cheating because I'm winning. Then I'll start... winning, in My way. And that's why the story of Skidmore has the most beautiful ending. Because it's either the Good Guys win by cheating, or Freedom wins by Winning. But I guess, I made myself the Skidmore Tyrant.'
Both men stood up then slowly go face-to-face with each other.
'You damn right, but unlike... the people of Skidmore, I'll continue on trying to fight back. And win the right way!'
'Like every Tyrant that came before, and after the Skidmore Tyrant, I'll be there winning fairly till you learn on how to Win for real. And wanna know why the "Good People" have to suffer? Because people like me are there to either win fairly, or to Win permanently. So you want me to feel honor to be your final opponent, then here it is.'
Eren offers a handshake. Goku stares at it then slowly looks up but rejects it.
'You latest series, Dragon Ball Daima? New story, old glory.'
'You'll find out, why Shonen Jump is meant to be heroes. Doing everything the right way.'
'And I will warn you now. What I'm gonna do to you, is what you wanted out of me. A "positive role model", a real Shonen Jump hero where I won't give up the fight till I win, but sadly, you're talking to me. So no matter what you'll dish out to me, I will rise above it, by victimizing you. And when you tap out, that's when Hope has abandoned you. So be grateful that I will win in a boyscout honor, or else, like Togami was gonna go through, win by Winning. Now we're done here. See you at the Tokyo Dome.'
Eren left the area first while Goku is leaning down on the table, and then bow down to everyone around the ring and leave the area too.
