Some common questions reviewers ask that I'd like to get of the way:
Will you add X characters to reaction eventually? No more students then the ones present will be added. I feel like I'm at my limit with the amount of characters already here.
OP reaction eventually? Maybe. Its most likely.
Prologue reaction? Yup. Didn't like how it and important details were breezed over in the anime.
Just thought I'd put this up front so everyones more likly to see it. With that, onto the reaction!
"If this happens in the real world, we have to make sure Gehenna is reprimanded for this." Ayane states.
"With Sensei's help, I'm sure that task will be easier." Hanako assures.
The episode starts with Prefect Team members marching through the smokey streets of Abydos. The Abydos students plus Sensei minus Hoshino stand in the middle of the street as the team marches on. Elsewhere, Haruka continues to cradle Aru.
Haruka: Aru! Aru!
"Such loyalty and care!" Momoi turns to her sister. "Why can't you be like that in our co-op?"
"Why can't you not charge ahead everytime?" Midori counters.
Mutsuki: Oh geez, we need to get out of here fast.
Kayoko: I didn't think they'd chase us here.
Iori and Chinatsu lead the march at the forefront.
Nonomi: Theres no way... Why?!
Serika: Why are they attacking unprovoked? This is still Abydos!
Ayane: But are they targeting us? Or Problem Solver 68?
"It doesn't matter. They struck first in out territory. What if Sensei got caught in the explosion?" Shiroko beings up, causeing everyone present to shudder at the thought.
Shiroko: Sensei, those students are...
Sensei: I know. They're...
The march is ceased.
Sensei: The Gehenna Prefect Team.
Shiroko: Sensei, its too dangerous. Go find cover behind us.
Sensei: Okay. Thank you.
Iori taps her foot impatiently.
Iori: What a bother.
Chinatsu: Patience Iori.
Iori: Why do we have to wait?
Chinatsu: Because there is such a thing as procedure.
"I don't recall a forign peacekeeping organization casually bombarding the streets outside their own district would be a part being a part of any kind of procedure." Miyako says.
"SRT has done that." Serika brings up.
"SRT is an exception. We actually have the authority to do that if its to bring in a criminal." Saki argues.
Iori: So much red tape just to catch a handful of delinquents. If anyone wants to get in our way then they're an enemy.
Chinatsu: First we need to explain the circumstances and assess the opponents position. We'll negotiate from there. If we can't come to an understanding, then we can fight.
"That should have been the FIRST thing they did." Ayane stresses.
'This approach doesn't suit the Head Prefect at all." Hanako agrees in her thoughts. 'Ako must be taking the reigns on this one. No one else is paranoid enough to pull off this kind of stunt.'
Iori: Is all of that really necessary?
Chinatsu: This is foreign territory. Even if it wasn't dirrected at them, our earlier attack wouldn't have gone unpunished anywhere else.
Iori: I get it. Then I'll head over and explain the situation.
With that, Iori breaks off from the group.
Chinatsu: Wait a second, Iori!
Iori: Its okay. Leave it to me.
"Something tells me, this girl ain't the greatest when it comes to negotiation." Miyako says.
"She better come back when her persuasion stats are higher." Arisu agrees.
"Or better yet, don't come back at all." Seeika growls.
It switches to Aru's perspective as she wakes up.
Mutsuki: Hey, Aru.
Aru fully opens her eyes as her halo is heard activating.
Haruka: Aru!
Mutsuki: Good morning, Aru.
Aru seems to have recovered as she fully sits up. The group have taken cover behind a car.
Kayoko: Boss, we need to hurry up and leave.
Aru: Leave? Why?
Kayoko: The Prefect Teams here.
Aru: The Prefect Team...? Why are they-!
Kayoko slaps her hand over Aru's mouth.
Kayoko: Keep it down. They'll find us if you're too loud.
Elsewhere.
Serika: You still can't get ahold of Hoshino?
Ayane: No... she's never gone dark on us like this before.
"What are you doing?!" Serika rounds on her upperclassmen.
"Uhehe. Sorry Serika. Must of fell asleep with do not distub on." Hoshino says. "Mist have forgotten to turn it off at one point."
"Don't forget important things!"
We see a bunch of texts on Ayane's tablet that have gone unanswered. Iori stops a good distance away from the FTF.
Iori: Hey, Abydos High School students.
Nonomi: What is the Gehenna Prefect Team doing here? And why did you bomb us?
Iori: About that, some criminals ran away to your district and we were teaching them a lesson.
"So, innocents getting caught up in it is fine for them?" Azusa questions.
"Not a good excuse to use." Yuzu agrees.
Serika: Are you talking about Problem Solver 68?
Iori: Exactly. So we really don't have any beef with you guys. Thats why I'll let you off the hook if you back down right now.
"Let US off the hook?" Shiroko says.
Hifumi cringes. "Saying something accusatory on thier own turf is not a good way to peacefully resolve anything."
Serika: What if we don't?
Iori only grins.
Nonomi: We're up against the Prefect Team. Fighting them might not end well for us. It could also cause huge political issues.
"I think the political issues are unavoidable at this point." Miyako states.
"They already blew up a street without warning. You guys shpuldn't just let them walk off with that." Momoi says.
Ayane: I'm frustrated with the situation too, but the gap in power is too big. Wouldn't it be wiser to back down for now?
Serika: We can't do that! She's right, we still need to make Problem Solver 68 pay.
Ayane: But...
Serika: The Master was injured and he had nothing to do with this.
Nonomi: Serika.
Ayane and Nonomi smile at each other, coming to an agreement.
Shiroko: We won't stand down.
Kayoko: Those kids turned down the Prefect Teams offer.
Mutsuki: Seriously? They don't know what they're getting into.
"To be fair, I'd think the same if someone turned down our offer if the Justice Task Force were to do something similar." Koharu says.
"Oh yeah. We'd take a chance to not get beaten up by C if they offered it." Midori says.
"We could win, though." Arisu claims.
"Arisu, I love the enthusiasm, but we'd never get down to 50% of their HP." Momoi says.
Haruka: Aru, now's our chance. Lets leave while they're distracted. *Beat of silence.* Aru?
Aru: Hey, to continue regretting something you've already done isn't very hardboiled is it? Blaming others for your own mistakes and running away isn't very hardboiled, either.
"I mean... in certain circumstances, some Outlaws would think so..." Yuzu says.
"Like previously said; They have some kind of moral code, weird as it is." Hifumi says.
Kayoko: What are you saying? Now isn't the time-
Aru: An outlaw. Being a real oulaw means not compromising our beliefs no matter who our opponent is.
Miyako, Azusa, and Hanako nos their heads, haveing already taken that stament to heart with their own problems.
"I suppose there is something to be admired about that." Nonomi says.
"Question is, will they hold up to their words?" Saki wonders.
Kayoko: Aru...
Meanshile, Iori twirls her Karabiner 98k and aims it at the Abydos students.
Iori: Is that your final answer.
Shiroko: Yes.
Iori: I did all this diplomacy for nothing. Your funeral!
She fires rifle at Ayane. Serika tackles her out of the way.
Serika: Ayane!
The shot hits the car Sensei is hiding behind.
Everyones nervousness spikes at seeing Sensei nearly get hit.
Chinatsu watches the fight from afar.
Chinatsu: Iori, not again.
Chinatsu then rushes to assist.
Shiroko moves while firing her rifle to which Iori dodges her shots effortlessly. She quickly takes a kneeling stance and fires at Shiroko.
"Woah! She's fast!" Koharu exclaims.
Azusa analyzed Iori's fighting style and a possible way to defeat her out of habbit. 'She's fast and accurate, and although it nay be too early to tell, wholly ignorbat of her surroundings. She could. just as easily dash into a trap.' As unlikly as it was to happen, Azusa was confident she could win in a fight.
Shiroko moves her head away, the bullet sailing through her left and hitting a car behind her. The two then charge at each other with their rifles poised for a melee strike. The two clash and Shiroko's rifle is sent flying out of her hands and onto the street behind her. She ducks from a swing fron Iori's rifle only to receive a kick sending her tumbling back to her weapon which she expertly retrives and jumps behind the car for cover.
"Thats pretty smooth right there." Momoi comments.
"You're pretty fast too Shiroko." Hifumi compliments.
"Pretty impressive." Saki says. 'Gonna have to do more agility training. '
Iori: Not bad.
She takes aim and fires through the window, Shiroko quickly uses her rifle to block the shot but is still knocked down.
"This is the most intense fight we've seen so far." Miyako comments.
"I'm really worried about everyone." Nonomi says. "We'll fight to protect Abydos, but I'd rather no one get hurt at all."
Nonomi: Shiroko!
Nonomi opens fire with her minigun.
Iori repeatedly jumps backwards until she back flips behind a car. She then jumps up really high, does a flip while delivering a downward kick which Nonomi blocks with her minigun.
"Bold move on her part." Moe comments.
"Will it pay off?" Miyu wonders.
Iori kicks off and gets a shot off Nonomi from mid air.
Miyu nods at the well placed shot. Despite her proficiency at hitting her targets well past her snipers effective range, she wondered if she was capable of pulling off a quick shot at close range like Iori.
Serika: How dare you!
Serika takes aim as Iori turns around. Iori dashes behind the Abydos student before she can do anything, to which the Prefect Captain hits her in the stomach with the stock of her rifle.
"Good CQC too." Saki comments.
"Who cares how good she is! She's decimating us!" Serika exclaims.
It was but for a smidgen of a second, but Hoshino considered visiting the Prefect Team to remind them not to mess with her juniors and Abydos.
Ayane: Serika!
Ayane aims her hand gun and fires a few shots to whoch Iori expertly dodges and then kicks said handgun out of Ayanes hands. Ayane, who's on the ground suddenly finds herself stareing down the barrel of Crack Shot.
Iori: Just a bunch of nobodies.
Hoshino considered making Iori specifically know where she would stand if they ever fought.
Sensei: Stop!
Sensei steps out from his cover.
Iori: Who are you?
Chinatsu: Hold your fire, Iori!
"Oh yeah, Sensei and that Chinatsu girl know each other!" Ayane exclaims.
"Maybe you can better talk things out now." Hanako says.
Ayane: Run, Sensei!
Iori: Sensei? Are you by chance, from Schale?
Shiroko and Serika open fire, leading Iori to jump back to Chinatsu's side.
Shiroko: Keep your guard up.
Sensei: Is everyone okay?
Sensei runs up to Ayane to help her up.
Ayane: Y-Yes.
Chinatsu: It really is you, Sensei. I didn't expect to run into you here.
Sensei: You're... It's been awhile, Chinatsu.
Chinatsu: If I had known you were here... My apologies.
"Good start, now wheres our apology?" Seeika questions.
"Serika, just give her some time." Hifumi tries to assure.
Ayane: I'm Okusora Ayane from the Abydos Foreclosure Task Force. You may be the Gehenna Prefect Team, but what justification do you have to attack us?
Chinatsu: Its because...
Ako: Allow me to answer that question.
A drone appears hovering in front of the Prefect Team, where it projects an image of their Senior Administrator, Ako.
"A new boss appears." Arisu exclaims.
"Quite true. This one must have been the one that ordered the attack." Azusa agrees.
"Gehenna's senior administrator? What game is she trying to play?" Ayane questions with a bit of anger in her voice.
Ako: Hello, Abydos students. I'm the Senior Administrator of the Gehenna Prefect Team, Amau Ako. Lets start over Foreclosure Task Force Members, I apologize for any inconvenience caused by this incident.
Nonomi: Don't you think you should lower your weapons before saying such things?
Ako: Oh yes, yes. Everyone, at ease.
The Prefect mobs follow her command.
Serika: They actually did it.
Ako: Now, allow me to apologize for our foolish actions.
Iori: Foolish actions? I was just following orders.
"Good soldiers follow-" Momoi is interrupted by a clumsy slap from her sister.
Ako: Iori. Do you know where to find the self-reflection form?
Iori: A-Ako!
Ako sighs.
Ako: Did the orders include firing indiscriminately as you pleased?
Iori: Not exactly, but-
Aki: And this isn't Gehenna. Since you are in another schools district, it should be a given to proceed with caution, no? Let me ask again, Iori. Do you know where to find the self reflection form?
Iori: In the left drawer of your desk...
"Heh. Looks like Iori's the Prefects bitch." Momoi laughs.
"H-H-Hey, no need to say such rude things. Even if she isn't here." Hifumi affirms.
Ako: Please complete it when you return. Now, back to buisness. We're here to apprehend criminals from our district. Will you cooperate with the Prefect Team?
Sensei: Is that a request? Or...
Ako smirks.
Ako: It's a request, at least for now.
'I'll have to bring the Prefect Team a request of my own should this happen.' Hoshino angrily thought as she inagi ed herself tearing through their ranks with ease just as she had done to so many others before. She eventually let out a long, drawn sigh as she calmed herself down as she became accustom to doing.
'You certainly play a dangerous game, Ako.' Hanako thought as she eyed the blue haired hologram on screen with an expression resembling contempt. 'I hope you're ready for the consequences that follow.'
"That line just makes me want to kick em down a notch or two." Serika grumbles.
"You're not alone." Azusa says, seeing Ako as nothing more than a bully, lording her power over those weaker then her.
Ayane: We won't cooperate.
Ako: Oh my, why not?
Ayane: No matter your justification, this is our district. Openly attacking us like this is a clear violation of the law. Problem Solver 68's discipline falls under our jurisdiction.
Ako: Sensei of Schale... are you of the same opinion?
Sensei: Yes, for this matter, I'm on their side.
Ako sighs at this, but doesn't look inconvenienced.
Ako: I really did want to resolve this peacefully, but I suppose we have no other choice.
"Really? To me she sounded like this was the expected outcome." Moe says.
"Maybe she did anticipate this." Ayane agrees. "Theres no say she could waltz a battalion into another district and not respect resistance. Even one as small as ours."
All sides ready their weapons.
Ako: Everyone, prepare for battle!
A grenade lands by some of the grunts.
Prefect mob 1: Huh?
It detonates, covering the Prefect team in smoke.
Serika: Wh-What?
Prefect mob 2: An ambush?
One if their companions fall.
"They kept to their word! They're helping!" Nonomi exclaims.
"Ah, moments like these are always satisying." Arisu says.
"The supposed good guys and bad guys teaming up, or the stuck up side getting punished?" Hifumi asks.
"Yes." Arisu answers.
Iori: Calm down! Secure the perimeter!
Haruka: You dare attack Aru?
Iori turns around to see Haruka in the smoke, her bangs covering her eyes.
Haruka: Unforgivable!
She aims her shotgun.
Haruka: Unforgivable, Unforgivable!
Haruka fires a shot, but Iori dodges and jumps back by a car where an explosive is planted. Iori notices too late as it goes off.
Chinatsu: Iori!
'Knew it.' Azusa affirms to herself.
"That Haruka girl works fast." Saki comments.
"Girl knows how to set thise explosives off. Sure wish she was a part of this audiance. Could have so much to talk about." Mow says.
"Yeah. Like we need another explosive nutjob here." Saki mutters to herself.
More gunfire comes thair way, knocking fown some grunts by Chinatsu. Mutsuki shoulders her machine gun.
Mutsuki: Hey! Long time no see!
Kayoko walks into frame twirling the pin of a grenade.
Kayoko: All according to plan.
Ako gasps as Aru appears on scene.
Aru: Shall we have some fun?
Problem Solver 68 stands alongside the FTF.
Serika: You guys! How dare you attack the Master-
Aru: Sorry.
Serika is stunned into silence.
Ako: I'm surprised you have yourself up so easily. But it saves us the trouble of hunting you down.
Ako snaps her fingers and more Prefect Team grunst emerge from all around, encompassing the two opposing groups in a semi-circle.
"What the hell? That force wasn't their whole strength?" Serika questions.
"We'll still beat them." Shiroko says.
"Thats our Shiroko. Always so confident no matter the odds." Nonomi smiles.
"And you won't be fighting alone anymore." Hifumi affirms. "Everything will be okay."
"Still. It won't be easy. The Prefect team is tough." Koharu advises.
"And you would know?" Miyako questions, not acusing.
"Of coarse! The Prefect Team is the equivalent to the Justice Task Force, and we're all elites. It makes sense that they would be of similar skill!" Koharu boasts.
'An oversimplification, but she's technically not wrong.' Miyako thinks.
Kayoko: A double envelopment?
Mutsuki: And I thought it was too easy.
Iori recovers and rejoins her conpaions as Ako talks.
Ako: It appears this unexpected encounter has gotten out of hand. From chaseing Problem Solver 68 to running into Schale's Sensei...
Kayoko: Thats pretty shameless, Ako.
Ako: Huh?
Aru: Kayoko?
Kayoko: None of this is a coincidence. You were aiming for this exact result from the begining. Your methods are inefficient. So many forces just to confront Abydos... The Prefect Team never handles buisness like this. Your goal is Schale. From the begining, you came all this way to target Sensei.
"What?!" Momoi exclaims.
"It makes more sense now. I knew these forces were overkill for a group of trouble makers." Ayane says.
"And not overkill for a haloless adult?" Azusa questions.
"My guess is that Ako heard of Sensei from that Chinatsu person and knew he was an exceptional strategist." Miyako explains. "She figured he might find a way to beat her, so she figured she'd just have to overwhelm his forces."
"And Kayoko figured it all out pretty quickly?" Midori questions. "I never would have guessed she'd have that big a brain."
'Its not just that.' Hanako eyes the goth like girl. 'She speaks of the Prefect Team as if she knows them, and not from an outside perspective. There isn't much evidence, but I suspect she's ex-Prefect Team. It would make a lot of sense.'
Sensei: Me?
Chinatsu: What does she mean?
Ako: As expected of you, Kayoko. Always so clever. Since its come to this, allow me to explain. It all started with the Tea Party. Gehenna has a long-standing rivialy with Trinity. Trinity's student council got ahold of a report about Schale, according to findings from our Intelligence Committee.
"But how does she know?" Koharu questions. "Its the Tea Party to welcome the Prefect Team into its meetings and lets them puruse though thier reports."
"Probably Gehenna spies." Azusa points out.
"Spies!" Kohaur exclaims.
"Yeah, there are rumors that Gehenna has spies everywhere. In every school." Midori says.
"What! And no one does anything about them?" Kohaur exclaims.
"Not like they can. The spies are experts at avoiding detection." Ayane explains. "Its mostly just accepted that Gehenna and Trinity will know everyones comings and goings eventually."
"Trinity?"
"Trinity is suspected have having spies everywhere as well." Miyako explains. "Like with Gehenna, its just accepted as a fact of life."
Ako: At that time, I had no idea what Schale was, but since the Tea Party was privy to that intel, I made it my buisness to find out. Thats when I remembered a report Chinatsu had submitted.
Chinatsu does the classic anime glasses thing while thinking:
Chinatsu (Thinking): But I sent that report so long ago...
Ako: The General Student Council President left Sensei at the head of this shadowy organization... Who knows what kind of influence it might wield? Therefore, at least until the Eden Treaty is safely concluded, we plan to put Sensei under our protection.
'I suppose thats a fair thought.' Hoshino wonders. 'But resorting to kidnapping Sensei feels like kicking the hornets neat if Ako were to fail. She, and by extension, the Prefect Team would gain a powerful enemy.'
"Thats quite a paranoid thought." And yes, Yuzu was aware of how that sounded cominh from her.
"I would think maybe trying to win Sensei over would be easier and a safter bet then kidnapping him." Miyako says.
Serika: And just who's calling those shots? Do you think we'll surrender Sensei without a fight?
Shiroko: We're the ones protecting Sensei.
Ako: I expected as much. But we need him too, so theres no other choice. If the Head Prefect hears of this, I'll have to complete the self reflection forum with Iori.
"Is it just me, or is she giveing off Starscream energy?" Momoi wonders aloud.
"...yeah, I can kind of see it." Midori agrees.
"Does this make the Head Prefect Megatron?" Arisu wonders.
Iori: Ako.
Ako: Do you think you can take us on with just you five?
Aru: It's nine people!
Nonomi: They're not here for you guys!
Aru: Running away without repaying our debts at a time like this? That's third-rate villain stuff.
Mutsuki: How eloquant, Aru!
Aru: I won't be able to rest easy until we've put that cocky Prefect Team in their place.
Shiroko: Yeah.
Serika: Thats right.
A moment of hesitation.
Serika: ...Kuromi Serika. We should know each others names if we're gonna fight together. I'm not just "Part-Timer".
"Thats sweet." Hifumi says.
"Don't think anymore on it." Serika was serious this time. "This is just for communication."
Aru: Rikuhachima Aru.
Kayoko: Onikato Kayoko.
Mutsuki: Asagi Mutsuki.
Haruka: I'm Igusa Haruka. Nice to meet you.
Haruka bows.
Nonomi: And I'm Izayoi Nonomi.
Ayane: My name is Okusora Ayane.
Shiroko: Sunaookami Shiroko.
Iori: Listen up, theres no turning back now. Even if you beg, offer money, or lick our feet...!
Sensei: That's a tempting offer, but I'll have to decline this time.
"Kinky." Hanako says. "Never expected Sensei to be a feet fetishist, but I suppose we all have our thing."
"Lewd! Execution!" Koharu demands.
"Sensei declined. He doesn't have a feet fetish." Shiroko affirms.
"Of coarse. My bad." Hanako says, electing not to mention the fact Sensei said "this time", implying its an option thats not off the table.
Ako: I never expected you all to join forces. Well fine. We'll show you how terrifying the Prefect Team is-
A few gunshots pass through Ako's hologram. Mutsuki yawns before readying her machine gun.
Mutsuki: Enough yapping.
"I kind of wish I did that." Serika says.
Ako: Charge!
All the Prefect Mobs let out a war cry as they follow the order.
Sensei: Nonomi, Haruka, head to three o'clock!
Nonomi and Haruka: Yes!
"I hope Haruka and I will work well together." Nonomi says.
Sensei: Serika, Mutsuki. Take our nine o,clock!
Serika and Mutsuki: Leave it to us!
"She better not cause any trouble on my watch." Serika says.
Sensei: Shiroko, Aru. Advance forward! Twelve o'clock!
Shiroko: Yes.
Aru: Okay!
The two charge.
Sensei: Ayane and Kayoko, provide support!
Ayane: Yes!
Kayoko: Okay.
"I hope the two of us will be sufficient protection." Ayane says.
Some Prefect Team mobs open fire on Haruka and Nonomi as they hide for cover behind a sign.
Nonomi: Haruka, what should we do?
Haruka: For now, I'll take the lead.
Haruka then charges out of cover.
Nonomi: Wait! Haruka!
"Oh no!" Nonomi worries.
"Don't worry Nonomi. I got a feeling she's pretty durable." Hoshino assures her.
Haruka fires wildly as she charges.
Haruka: Please die. Please die.
The attackers are taken down leaving one hidden in the ally with Haruka in her sights.
"Frontliner rookie flaw." Saki calls out. "Check all your corners."
"Thats why I'm there, to have her back." Nonomi declares.
She is then suddenly pelted with machine gun fire. Haruka turns back to her companion.
Haruka: S-S-Sorry.
Nonomi: No, don't worry about it.
Elsewhere, Mutsuki and Serika begin their battle.
Mutsuki: Lets go, Part-Timer!
Mutsuki takes out a bundle of dynamite and tosses it at the Prefect Team. Serika shoots the strap in mid air, causing the dynamite to scatter and wreck havoc on several Prefect Mobs.
"You should seriously consider a sniper for your primary firearm. Hitting such a small target in mid air is no small feat." Miyako says, Miyu nods as well
"Thanks I guess, but I perfer the all roundedness my rifle gives me." Serika explains.
Mutsuki: You're pretty good Part-Timer.
Serika: That goes without saying.
Mutsuki: Well then, shall we continue?
Mutsuki throws a grenade at more Prefects.
Prefect mob 3: Here they come again!
Iori rushes forwards and hits the grenade away with her rifle like its a baseball game.
"Home run!" Momoi can't help but cheer.
"Seriously?!" Serika exclaims.
Serika: Seriously?! Shoot!
The two run from their cover out in the open as Mutsuki's grenade lands at where they were.
Iori: The rats come crawling out. You won't get away.
Iori re-orients her rifle and charges. Meanwhile with Haruka and Nonomi, Haruka moves from cover as she blasts a Prefect. More arrive as Haruka finds cover again. Nonomi then peeks out of cover and lets her rip, right into another two Prefect mobs. Haruka blasts the last one.
Nonomi: As expected, you're skilled, Haruka!
Haruka: Not at all, its thanks to your support.
Nonomi: No, not at all.
"If you two keep trying to hand each other the credit, you'll miss the rest if the fight." Saki points out.
"I'm just being honest. Besides, I think Haruka would do well with more compliments." Nonomi says.
Chinatsu peeks out from behing a sign, aiming her Mauser M712.
"Dang, kind of forgot about her." Momoi says.
"The youngins'll do fine." Hoshino says. "A little surprise won't give them any trouble."
The two quickly take notice as the Prefect medic starts firing off shots. Haruka rushes through the gunfire up to Chinatsu where she pins her shooting arm and directing her head as to be aimed straight at Nonomi's minigun at point blank.
Nonomi: Drop your weapon and surrender.
Chinatsu sighs before dropping her pistol. The two smile at their job well done.
"For a Prefect member, she seemed real easy to defeat." Midori points out.
"She probably functions as support on the team." Nonomi rationalizes.
Elsewhere, all of Iori's backup is seemingly taken out with Serika and Mutsuki no where to be seen.
Iori: Playing games and sneaking around? Just give up and come out!
Mutsuki opens fire from behind Iori. Iori dodges and charges.
Mutsuki: Fast!
Iori: Final blow!
Iori swings her rifle, knocking Mutsuki back who smirks as she travels away from Iori.
Mutsuki: Counting on you, Part-Timer.
"So much for names being used." Ayane sighs.
"That brat!" Serika curses
Serika aims her rifle as Mutsuki's bag drops by Iori's feet.
Iori: What?
Serika aims at the bag.
Serika: I told you, my name isn't Part-Timer!
Serika fires a single bullet into the bag. Iori gasps before the explosion takes her and sending the manhole cover flying up.
"Huh. Little Gehenna girl is really packing." Moe says. "How Glorious!"
"But its wasteful. All thise explosions cpuld have been used to make other traps." Azusa criticizes.
Iori coughs as she is trap in said manhole.
Mutsuki: Now, what to do?
Serika: Who said something about a rat?
Iori: Damn, I can't believe they pushed me to this point. I'll crush you! What are you waiting for? Bring it on!
"If she doesn't shut up, I'll hit her until she falls completely down." Serika says before smirking. "Heh, we won this one."
On the main road, Kayoko fires her handgun taking out a Prefect while Ayane moniters the situation further.
Ayane: Enemies at both 3 and 9 o'clock have been taken down!
Sensei: Good! That just leaves our 12! Shiroko, Aru, just a little more!
Shiroko and Aru stand back to back with Prefects surrounding them.
"Not an ideal position." Saki says.
"We'll make it work." Shiroko assures.
Aru: The meddlers got in the way earlier, but what would have happened if we fought back there?
Shiroko: Isn't it obvious?
Aru: Yes, its obvious.
The two break their back to back and aim their guns at each other.
Aru and Shiroko: Of coarse we'd win!
"Really? Nows not the time Shiroko!" Ayane admolishes.
"Not a good idea to antagonize your temporary allies when surrounded by enemies." Miyako agrees.
The two smirk at each other before charging.
"Ah, its just friendly rivalry. Those are often good things." Hifumi says.
"Or its just the beginings of their romantic tension." Hanako teases with a smile.
"No." Shiroko frowns.
Prefect mob 4: They're coming!
They open fire as Shiroko and Aru are back to their back to back, firing at the Prefect Team grunts as wells as moving around each other to better avoid the bullets. Ako frowns at the development.
"For a first time fighting together, you two are doing pretty well." Miyako compliments.
"Ah. Nice to see my cute juniors get along so well with the kids next door." Hoshino says with another dopey smile.
Ako: Open fire!
The motar team opens fire. The two opposing students move out of the way before the shell hits the spot they once occupied. Shiroko takes cover behind a barricade while Aru hides behind a car.
Aru: Shiroko, we need to close the distance!
Shiroko looks to the cars ajar side door.
Ako: Even as a team, what can you do in the face of such sheer power?
"With their forces divided and their top operative besides the Head Prefect incapacitated, I don't see mich power." Saki declares.
"Nn. We'll smash whats left of them." Shiroko says.
Shiroko charges through the smoke, holding the door like a shield much to Ako's shock.
"Uhehe, inspired by old Ojisan?" Hoshino asks.
"It works for you. I'll make it work for me." Shiroko simply says.
The Prefect mobs open fire only to have their bullets clang uselessly off the door. As soon as she moves, Aru has a clear shot at a Prefect member which she executes while Shiroko runs up to the other, backflip kicks her gun out of her hands and then finishes her off. She throws the door at another coming to her left and then throws her stock into the stomach of another charging Prefect.
"Did I ever mention your CQC is amazing." Saki says.
"Yes. And thank you." Shiroko replies.
"I mean, come on! Who's able to do a backflip kick disarm and then hurl a DOOR at somone! Thats just fricken cool!" Momoi exclaims.
"And insane." Serika says. "But hey, if it works..."
The motar team loads another shell and fires to which Shiroko notices. The shell lands, throwing the area up in smoke.
Prefect Mob 5: Did we get then?
The mob looks up to see Shiroko holding on to her drone as she flies up to the motar squad.
"Never thought you'd be able to do that!" Moe exclaims.
"Shiroko, I keep telling you thats dangerous." Ayane admolishs.
"Its fine." Shiroko tries to assure.
"I would think so. She has better angle at everything now." Midori agrees with the wolf girl.
"And besides, hovering should give her a damage bonus." Arisu adds.
She shoots the one manning the motar as another charges to take her place. Aru takes aim as a shell is loaded in. She fires, sending the motar directly facing up as the motar fires, sending the shell directly up and causing Prefect Mov to retreat as it rains back down on her.
Shiroko: This is it.
Shiroko, still hanging onto her drone fires all missles at the remaining Prefect squad, absolutely decimating them.
"Now THAT is cool." Momoi says. "You're such a badass, Shiroko."
"It was pretty exciting." Hifumi admits.
"Its not quite my style, but its something I would like to think I would do in a sinialr situation." Azusa says.
"Oh hell yes. To be flown up from a drone and watcha all those rockets come down on those grunts like rain, exploding in brilliance as they hit their target." Moe drools at the sight.
"Okay, keep it in your pants." Saki grunts at her teammate.
When the smoke clears, all thats left is Ako's hologram.
Ako: Looks like you won't give up Sensei that easily, hm.
The Abydos and Problem Solver alliance all regroup with each other.
Aru: You're still talking big in this situation?
Shiroko: Won't you admit defeat?
Ako: You still don't get it? You'll have no choice but to accept our terms.
"I can think of some alternatives." Hanako starts. "She could have said, "It looks like we have no choice, but to have sex." And I find that would be a completely acceptable compromise."
Koharu gasps at the sheer audacity of this girl to say something like that. "Huh?! With a student?! You will be executed Urawa Hanako!"
Ako: I still have plenty more troops behind-
Hina: Ako.
Ako: Huh?
Ako turns around to find the Head Prefect standing behind her hologram.
Ako: Head Prefect Hina!
Hina: Explain very clearly the situation here.
"Someones in deep trouble." Momoi whispers to her sister, much to her ammusment.
Yuzu shutters at not just the memory of the Game Development Department's own reprimands, but at the terrifying prescene of the Head Prefect. Even if she was only on screen.
Ako: Um, well... We're apprehending criminal students...
Hina: You mean Problem Solver 68? Where are they?
Ako: What do you mean? They're right there... huh?
Ako turns back to see only the FTF and Sensei. PS68 no where to be found.
Ako: No way, they were just here!
PS68 hides behind a car, out of view of the Prefect Team.
"Ah, that was fast." Hifumi exclaims.
"The Head Prefect must really scare them." Nonomi says.
"This is actually good for us." Ayane informs. "The situation to the Head Prefect looks more like Prefect forces attacked us unprovoked, which will most likely end in Ako getting the blame and the Prefect Team apologizing and pulling out."
Ako: Head Prefect, I'll explain everything.
Hina: No need. I get the gist of it. Ako, we're the Prefect Team, not the student council.
Ako: I know, but...
Hina: We'll discuss this later. You're on probation until then.
"Its well deserved." Nonomi says.
Ako: Understood.
Ako's homogram then switches off.
Hina: Well then...
Ayane: Gehenna Head Prefect, do you fully understand the situation here?
Hina: Deploying forces in another schools district without prior notice, and engageing in combat with students of said school.
Ayane: Yes, that means-
Hina: However, you also interfered with the Prefect Teams offical duties. Didn't you?
"But only because they invaded your land!" Hifumi exclaims.
"Your right, so by technicality, the Foreclosure Task Force did nothing wrong as their actions can be seen as simply defending their land." Miyako agrees.
The tense moment is interrupted by a yawn as Takanashi Hoshino stumbles onto the scene.
Hoshino: Oh boy, here we go again with another commotion.
"Hoshino!" Nonomi exclaims.
"About time." Serika huffs.
Nonomi: Hoshino!
Serika: Where have you been all this time?
Hoshino: Sorry, sorry, I was taking a nap.
Shiroko: A nap?
Hina (thoughts): Hoshino from Abydos. Could it be Takanashi Hoshino?
"You know the Head Prefect?" Ayane asks her upperclasmen, to which Hoshino shakes her head.
"How does she know you?" Hifumi can't help but ask.
"I dunno. Maybe she heard my name in passing." Hoshino carelessly replies. Nonomi has a better idea.
Hoshino approaches Hina, so the two stare each other down.
Hoshino: I'm not sure what happened, but why did you bring all these kids here? Head Prefect.
Hina: You've changed a lot since you were a first year. I almost didn't recognize you.
"Are you pulling our leg here, Hoshino, because thats implies onowing more than just your name in passing." Serika says.
Hoshino: Huh, you know me?
"See, I'm just as clueless as I am now." Hoshino says. "Must be thise pesky spies you all were talking about. They know everything after all."
Hina: Back when I was on the Intelligence Committee, I had a pretty good grasp of the key students in each district
Hoshino: An old timer like me was that famous?
Hina: Takanashi Hoshino. I couldn't forget you if I tried. I thought you left Abydos after that incident. I see now. Thats why Schale...
"What is she talking about? This goes beyond simply knowing the key figures of all districts." Serika complains. "Its more like you were a person of high interest. And what incident is she talking about."
Nonomi places her hand on Serika's shoulder. "Serika, you shouldn't push Hoshino for information like that. It isn't important." She sternly tells her underclassmen. This gets Serika to stop as well as quell down anyone elses questions for that matter. Hoshino shoots a thankful look to her friend. While the rest of the audiance don't voice their questions out loud, they let them ring in their head. Unanswered.
Hoshino: What? If you don't articulate your thoughts clearly, you might put me in a tough spot.
A moment of silence passes.
Hina: Prepare to withdraw.
Prefect Mob 13: W-We're withdrawing?!
Prefect Mob 7: Head Prefect?
Hina then bows toward the FTF.
Hina: For deploying forces without prior notice, and causeing a disturbance in another schools district, I, Sorasaki Hina, would like to offically apologize to the Abydos Foreclosure Task Force.
"Its nice to see the Head Prefect at keast has good manners when her youngins make trouble for others." Hoshino says.
"I suppose the apology is much appreciated." Ayane sighs.
'I may be horribly wrong, but was the Head Prefect perhaps spooked by Hoshino's presence. Like if she got involved, matters would turn out poorly for the Prefect Team?' Hanako wonders. 'Now I wonder in what way. Does she have dirt on them? It doesn't seem likely.'
Hina: We're withdrawing, let's go.
Prefect Team: Yes!
With that, they retreat in the opposite direction. Hina then approaches the group. Sensei specifically and begins to speak to him, though its inaudiable to the audiance. She then turns and walks the other way. Hoshino joins the group as Hina leaves.
Shiroko: Sensei, what was that about?
Sensei flashes back to what Hina told him.
Hina (Flashback): Kaiser Corporation had been up to something in the desert of Abydos.
"Why mute her in that once scene if we were gonna hear her second later anyway?" Koharu questions to which Hifumi shrugs.
Sensei wordlessly looks to Shiroko.
Shiroko: Sensei?
Hoshino: Oh my, this old-timer still has no idea what's going on. What exactly happened?
Serika: Get it together, Hoshino!
Ayane: She's right! You can't just disappear at such a critical moment.
Hoshino: Sensei, they're being mean to me!
Sensei just laughs at this. Shiroko can only stare at Hoshino.
'Forget this whole Prefect buisness.' Shiroko wonders. 'Hoshino's hidding something else. And its... its going to be a big problem I feel.'
Nonomi: Then, lets head back.
Hoshino: Ugh, I'm tired.
Episode ends.
"Well, that was the most action packed." Moe says. My favourite episode."
"I'm thankful, as it gives us a lot of insight on what the Prefect Team will try to attempt when Sensei arrives to assist." Ayane says.
"Onto the next one. I want to see where this goes." Shiroko flatly states, the others inaware by what she is actually refering to.
AN: Finding the time to write this chapter was certainly more difficult then the others. I don't know how I managed to put it out on time, somewhat. The whole bit where Momoi compares Ako to Starscream are similar thoughts I had when going through the story for the first time and being introduced to Ako. My exact first thoughts, "This character seems like she'll be a Starscream type character." I'm kind of right... And for those who don't know, Hanako's whole "Looks like we have no choice but to have sex." Is based off a mistranslation that had once occurred in this episode. I don't know if the scene was the one I had her suggest it in. I vaguely remember in my last chapter saying I wasn't looking forward to Say-Bing, but I can say now that I've gone through it, I thought it was alright.
