"You have done amazing Xing Su. You have protected humanity in my absence and ensured our prosperity. You need not worry any longer, for I am here."
As soon as he finished speaking a wave of pure immortal essence erupted from Primordial Origin and spread across the entirety of Heavenly Court. Instantly tremors began to shake and all the dao marks both Fang Yuan and Star Constellation refined were stolen from them. This affected Star Constellation far more as she had refined nearly half of all the wisdom path dao marks.
As tremors shook Heavenly Court cracks began to appear throughout the grotto heaven. Large ravines split the earth and new openings to the outside world appeared throughout.
Fang Yuan instantly redoubled his attempts to escape towards the much closer openings but Giant Sun obstructed him and continued to teleport him back to the center of Heavenly Court.
"Lord Primeval Origin and Star Constellation, I officially accept your invitation to join Heavenly Court, more importantly I am only able to teleport Fang Yuan maybe a handful of times more before my tie to the qi path dao marks he consumed is erased. If we don't take this chance to kill him now we will never have another opportunity this advantageous in the future."
"Xing Su, Fang Yuan is the final pillar for variant humans. Once he's dead humanity will be the sole masters of the world, go back to the battle and keep him busy. I need to finish consuming heavenly court and condensing my origin core." As he said this he raised his hand and pure rank nine immortal essence rushed into Star Constellation's core. She could feel her near empty essence reserves filling rapidly.
"Of course master!" Star Constellation said with more enthusiasm than she's had in thousands of years. She fully thought any chance of her master reviving were crushed when Fang Yuan ate the qi fruit core, she had already contemplated this being some sort of dream path attack but none of her investigation methods revealed anything other than what she was seeing. Her master's revival from his heavenly vaults was akin to a miracle in her mind.
Without the boost from Heavenly Court's natural dao marks she was much less of a threat but with the additional essence at least she would be able to unleash attacks she had been holding back since she was bombarding the golden path.
She took out a familiar small black book from a storage Gu and opened it to what seemed like a random page.
Thundering Hammer line!
Instead of a small ethereal brain appearing as it did before, now an image of Fang Yuan's face appeared. A thick red string shot towards Fang Yuan's forehead faster than Fang Yuan could react.
The feeling of a sledgehammer driving into his mind appeared. Any thoughts he tried to make were shattered forcing his mind to a standstill.
Lucky Strike!
Giant Sun appeared in front of Fang Yuan with a golden rapier poised to pierce his heart. Fang Yuan attempted to block the attack but each time a thought began to form a sledgehammer broke it to pieces.
As Giant Sun's blade pierces Fang Yuan's body it broke into the aperture and stabbed into the hearts of Fang Yuan's clones as well.
Each of them including the main body coughed up blood, the dream clone was brought to the brink of death, without the main body's intervention to stabilize them, they would die.
The second the hilt of Giant Sun's blade reached Fang Yuan's chest he was able to break through the mental attack.
Shattering Resonance of Dang Hu Mountain!
Instead of escaping, Fang Yuan placed his palms against Giant Sun's chest and used a killer move based around Dang Hu Mountain and Advanced Refinement Gu. A resonance shook Giant Sun and his aperture began to shake similar to Heavenly Court. The damages done to the resources within were catastrophic but with some effort fixable.
The true issue was the effect this move had on Giant Sun's essence. The natural resonance of Dang Hu mountain is similar enough to both primeval and immortal essence that through the right medium it can interfere with it.
Shattering Resonance of Dang Hu Mountain sent Giant Sun's essence into an out of control frenzy. Messing with another's essence is not something commonly seen or planned for, in fact there is only a handful of people that have ever existed that used a technique like this in combat.
The golden rapier that was impaling Fang Yuan faded away as Giant Sun lost control of his essence. He tried desperately to control his essence but was unable to form any defence when Fang Yuan's silver blade sliced through his neck.
"I did not want to kill you yet Giant Sun, I still had much use for you." Fang Yuan said aloud as he blocked another of Star Constellations attacks.
Giant Sun's body immediately went limp as Fang Yuan ripped his aperture from his body and shoved it into his mouth. Before the sovereign immortal body could begin digesting it Giant Sun's aperture turned ethereal and disappeared. Through his luck attainment Fang Yuan faintly sensed that it was going to reappear close by.
Not even a second later Giant Sun materialized out of seemingly nothing. His previous body broke apart into about ten thousand luck and blood path dao marks. These dao marks were instantly refined by Primordial Origin as he consumed Heavenly Court.
After a few more seconds of fighting the constant tremors ripping through Heavenly Court reached their peak
It was easy for the venerables to track the tremors as they were the results of Primordial Origins refinement of Heavenly Court. With the amount of immortal essence being pumped into the refinement it was equivalent to Fang Yuan going all out with Refining Heaven, Earth, and Dao.
The tremors hit their peak just as Primordial Origin finished refining all the dao marks. Just by basic calculations the equivalent of roughly ten million immortal essence stones were used.
Once the last dao mark was refined the tremors instantly stopped, it was almost as if the world stopped for a second.
The next second everything broke. The walls that made up Heavenly Court shattered, the trees that were swept aside during the battle were vaporised, the rubble that made up the ground cracked and split into nothing.
Dao marks from everything that was Heavenly Court shot towards Primordial Origin and entered his aperture.
With the complete destruction of Heavenly Court things changed drastically. Spectral Soul screamed violently. With the destruction of Heavenly Court the last heavenly pillar was destroyed and white and black heaven will completely combine into gray heaven.
Since Spectral Souls and by proxy heavens will's goal of destroying Heavenly Court was finished he had no reason to be there anymore. Instantly he turned around and flew back to gray heaven to continue whatever plans he had.
Fang Yuan launched another attack at Primordial Origin before he began his next escape attempt. Throughout the fight Fang Yuan had launched dozens of attacks at Primordial Origin but each were blocked or misdirected by Star Constellation.
With the destruction of Heavenly Court Fang Yuan was confident that there was no way Giant Sun could teleport him anymore and he was able to escape to any direction, not just where there were breaks in the wall.
Instantly as Fang Yuan began to escape a great should rang out and the aura of multiple rank nine Qi path Gu worms could be sensed.
"The Body of the Primordial Human!"
Instantly Fang Yuan felt his heart shutter then begin to fall out of the sky towards the Central Continent.
As he fell he continued to struggle and cast as many rank nine refinement path killer moves to attempt to regain control of his body. Primordial Origins attack did not mess with his mind, essence, or gu worms but instead seemed to work on the earth, human, and heaven qi in his body.
Despite being a Great Grandmaster in qi path Fang Yuan had no idea how manipulating a person's qi would allow you to disrupt their control of the body.
A few seconds later Fang Yuan's back impacted the ground and blew a crater one hundred meters across into the landscape.
He watched nearly helpless as three venerables floated around him. As his Gu worms and essence were still free he had many options he could use to attempt to escape.
"I have been watching the happenings of Heavenly Court and the Central Continent for a long time Fang Yuan and you have caused damage never before seen in the history of our world. Even the battles between myself and the leaders of the variant human leaders could be seen as child play compared to your actions."
A second of silence passed. The only way Fang Yuan could have communicated was through the use of a Gu worm but he had nothing to say. Words would not sway anyone's opinions at this time.
Instead his mind wandered back to the end of his first life. At that point was cornered on a cliff, covered in blood, and surrounded by hundreds of members of the righteous faction.
A crook of a smile appeared on his face as he compared this moment with that one and made his decision.
"With or without the existence of fate, my cultivation, this body, or my status I will achieve eternal life!"
"Heavenly Web Through the Beginning of Spring and Ending of Fall!"
With his last comment, Fang Yuan self-detonated in a powerful rank nine Killer move!
He had poured all his energy and his entire aperture into the killer move to propel his memories back through the river of time.
As a rank six Gu master Fang Yuan was able to propel himself back over five hundred years the first time he used it. As a venerable Fang Yuan would have been able to send him memories back well over a million year if he wanted to.
But who would he send them too? Take over the body of another? What would he be able to achieve at that point in time?
No, instead of going for distance Fang Yuan instead used the Heavenly Web Through the Beginning of Spring and Ending of Fall rank nine immortal killer move to go for quality.
As Fang Yuan's memories appeared in the sea of time a massive ethereal ship appeared and surrounded it. The ship itself appeared to have been abandoned a millennia ago and was encased in thick spider webs.
It cut through the furious waves as if it were just a calm pond and began to head upstream.
Quite shortly after the ship appeared massive blue tentacles rose up from the water and attempted to obstruct it.
Thousands of silver blades shot out and flieted the tentacles allowing the ship to further its trip up the river.
Barriers of qi constantly appeared before him but each was perfectly countered by some set of gu worms hosted on the ethereal ship.
Golden meteors rained down on and around the ship. Most were destroyed before the ever even touched it but the few that did reach it did minimal damage that was instantly repaired.
Obstructions from each of the venerables appeared one hundred and thirteen more times, some of these obstructions were set in place by the venerables who were either dead or still in the midst of reviving to destroy the ship but each time they were countered with extreme accuracy.
If Fang Yuan had not been able to steal secrets from Heaven's Will and prepare this killer move beforehand then this trip would have been impossible. Because he had plenty of time to prepare beforehand all of the other venerable's defences were reduced to mere annoyances.
Eventually the ship reached the proper point in the river of time and the final part of the immortal killer move activated.
The rank nine Heavenly secret Gu, Heavenly Web Gu, Advanced refinement Gu, and the rank eight Spring Autumn Cicada Gu shivered before self-detonating and their energy fullended across the river of time and Fang Yuan's memories found there way to the exact moment he planned for.
With the return of Fang Yuan's memories up the river of time, great changes happened as if they were always there.
