The Champions of Monster High

By Yutilov

Chapter 5: Crush or Stink

Hello once again, gakis! It's your favorite and mischeviously handsome kitsune, Seimei!

As usual by now, let's do a small recap.

And... GO!

Last time we took a peek at the youngest of the eiyuu's called to secretly fight the threat of the Orphenochs. We watched how a day in Monster High had gone for Maximilian Skye, a gaki with a good heart but with a fear bone of almost the same size who in just a short break, he ired the wrath of the school's notorious bully, Manny Taur, but, got saved by the ryu girl Jinafire Long!

After that she demanded for his presence after classes, and of course the gaki got the bibiteiru on a new level and I don't need to read thoughts to know... cough... and I can do that, unlike a certain wizard from medieval times!

Back on, his mind has been full of worries and while others tried to help him in their own ways and offer support, his own fears and anxieties prevented him to accept those offers, but nonetheless, it all turned out well for him. Not only he cast aside some of his fears and fought as Faiz against and Orphenoch that put young Blake in his place after souring his blooming relationship with the werewolf girl, Clawdeen, but showed a form of courage and faced the dragon musume, Jinafire, after classes, and she offered to teach him how to defend himself in this sekai.

My ai sensors were blinking for a moment in there, but that's another matter, because right now, we're back once again for a chapter with, drum roll!

*DRDRDRDR!*

Leon!

Monster High - Halls

It was your average day in Monster High. It's spooky students were minding their own business and even a fly couldn't be heard in the quietness that filled the halls.

"Make way!!!" shouted a voice that made all turn and quickly gape as a human on a wheelchair that had countless fire extinguishers glued on the back zoomed at astounding speeds.

The teen in question was a human. His skin had a healthy tan and his eyes were a vibrant blue with his hairstyle being quite reminiscent of a certain loner that loves to sigh, but instead of light-gray it was a natural diry blonde. Wearing a white sleveless shirt with blue trims and a pair of black shorts with blue sports sneakers, Leon Hart, was sitting upright in the chair with a big grin plastered on his face as he zoomed past the surprised monster students.

"Look out for fire hazard!" he heartly laughted without fear, easily maneveuring through any obstacles that clashed in his way. When being too close to a wall, twisting his body, the teen made the the chair spin with him in endless circles as the foam from the extinguishers flew around like a tornado. It was quite the sight to see.

Finally after a few moments, the spinning chair began losing it's speed as the foam from the items meant to be used for emergencies was empty, leaving Leon with a dazed, but still wide smile on his lips.

"Soooo awesome!!!!" he shouted loud so that all could heard him.

Unlike most rich kids, Leon was a guy that didn't fit that kind of scene with the fancy suits and all that entails. He, just like his parents, have a passion for adventures and traveling to different places and countries and exploring or celebrating to their hearts desires, so, him being forced to attend the famous Saint Brahm Academy for the sake of tradition, just like his father was once put through by his grandpa wasn't that awesome... Heck, it sucked a lot and even his pop told him that! But he still couldn't say no to this family tradition, because, one of the good things that happened there was meeting his wife, Leon's mother who shared his love of exploring instead of being crammed up in a fancy school.

Anyway, the place wasn't that bad. It was awesome at first, but quite boring when you get used to it and the so-called hundreds of clubs that made the institution famous weren't really that appealing to him.

But! After approving of others that weren't priviledged into the grounds let the adventurous teen have some nicer company or meet an occasional fellow like him that didn't live up to the spoiled kid image and get along. One of them being his best buddy with a heart of gold that is like 'Mickey' of blue-blood or some fancy nonsense, Ken! Oh, and of course Blake! The latter didn't want to even associate with him and told him countless times that he's too loud and annoys a lot of people, but that's just his opinion. And one thing he liked about the guy was his freakin hairstyle he still couldn't fully copy! He must use some kind of special gel and hair paint or something because he rocks the wild goth look! It was a fresh breath compared to the same tacky uniforms everyday and how he didn't get expelled until now is a mistery to him just like how he doesn't trust their fox-earred host after being called to another world.

This was the greatest dream young adventurers with an overactive imagination and geeks had and Blake wanted to go back to their own home?! Honestly, this place is so much better than everything ever at the Academy! Going to a school full of supernatural creatures, plus the children of famous monsters just pumped his blood! He loves every second in this world! Plus the fact that they are actually teen superheroes who secretly protect this world just adds to it all!!! Technically, he still didn't get a chance to show his mad skills in fighting the Orphenochs or whatever the invaders were called, so filling his time with challenges by the monster students was a cool alternative and get some fans.

Oh, and trying to get the attention of a ghoul, or to be more precise, a feline girl.

"So, how much did the normie resist?" asked Heath Burns as him, Deuce Gorgon, and Jackson Jeckyll with other monster teens approached the dowsy human.

"Sorry, Heath, you lost the bet," Deuce says pointing to a chronomether on his hand. "Leon resisted five whole minutes unlike you that last time."

At his words, many of the monsters began cheering for Leon, except Heath and raising him higher on their arms as if he was a champion.

"Best school ever!!!" The human teen exclaimed, more or less aware, but enjoying the showers of praise from the monster students.

As Leon was basking in the praises, a loud cough made all in the halls go wide-eyed and silent, dropping him on the floor with a thud.

"Ouch, man! What ha-" he was about to say when he managed to gaze at who was standing before him... Headmistress Bloodgood.

"I take it you're enjoying yourself, Mr. Hart?" Bloodgood asked, her voice tinged with a silent anger.

"Uh, sure, Headmiss!" The teen replied as his smile reappeared on his face. "I love everything about this school!" he loudly declared, surprising many in the process, not because of a human liking the school, mind you, but because he answered so cheerfully and laid-back to the very principal that could give him tons of homework and detention without a sweat.

"I see," the Headmistress replied with a raised eyebrow. "Unfortunately, using the school's supplies for such activities is not accepted."

"Oh... But why not?" Leon asked, tilting his head.

At this, the Headmistress paused for a moment, her eyes narrowing slightly. "Because," she began, her voice icy cold, "Monster High is a school, not a playground for such follies that have the risk of putting others in danger."

Leon's smile faltered a bit as he realized he had crossed a line. "I guess I'll be in detention with extra homework then." he says with a shrug, earning wide gasps fron the others by his carefree attitude.

The monsters present exchanged glances among themselves, some impressed by Leon's apparent bravery while others were worried about his lack of fear towards the principal.

"It is a start," Bloodgood replied with a nod. "Come with me to my office."

As Headmistress Bloodgood turned on her heel, Leon rose from his spot and followed her. The other teens watched him go, a mix of awe and fear in their eyes. They could never imagine themselves being so bold in front of the principal.

"I bet he ends up in bigger trouble," Heath says, switching all the attention to himself.

"Dude, that's not cool," Deuce adds with a disappointed sigh. "But I'm in. That guy can manage to avoid detention."

"Says you!" Heath scoffed. "Anyone else wants to enter?"

"C-Count me in too!" added Jackson. "Leon seems to know what he's doing... I guess?"

"I'm with Heath on this one, boos," declared a water monster with black jacket and a glass helmet on his head. "Avoiding troubles can only get you so far."

"Ughh!" a zombie with a similar black jacket and short blue hair grunted.

"With Slow Mo that makes three on Leon avoiding detention and punishment," Jackson added with a smile. "Odds seem with him."

"And I bet that normie won't get away!" exclaimed a voice that made the teen gulp and turn back, meeting the enraged Manny Taur. "Ever since him and the other normies appeared on our school, they think they can get away with anything! Well, they're wrong!" Manny's eyes glowed with anger as he clenched his fists.

"Whoa, man! Calm down," Deuce said, crossing his arms. "Honestly, are you still mad that you got beaten at casketball because of that guy Blake?"

Manny's face turned a darker shade of red, his fists shook even more at the embarrassing memory. "I'm not! I just hate the thought of going to school with normies!"

"B-But I'm a human!" Jackson reluctantly said.

"At least you know your place and thank Holt for being a clawsome DJ, unlike those five!" Manny snarled at the thought. Jackson was a pathetic normie, but at least his other half was tolerable. The fact that five humans suddenly attended Monster High and started drawing in many monsters as their fans made him more angry than ever, especially after that one with the cheap hairstyle and that wimp with a too long name!!!

"Dude, you need to let it go," said Deuce with a long sigh.

Monster High- Principal Office

The door closes behind Leon, entering the Headmistress office. She walks around her desk and sits down then takes her head off, placing it on a purple pillow.

"Mr. Hart," she begins, her voice professional and stern. "Ever since you and your friends arrived in the school, I had my worries, but in spite of incidents like yours, you all actually managed to adjust to Monster High."

"What can I say, Headmiss? I love this place! Going with monsters to a school is just so AWESOME!!!" he shouted loud, making the dullahan principal wince along with her steed.

"I can see it very clearly," Bloodgood sighed. "But this isn't the first time you are in trouble for similar events. The teachers may have decided to let you go since by their own words, you bring along a spooky spark to their classes."

"Hmm... Well, I guess I'm just that interesting for a normie," the human teen uttered with a shrug, failing to hide his wide smile. "Sure, I did a few crazy challenges and experiments during classes, but the teachers actually found my works to be quite awesome! Especially Hackington! That guy with the bag over his head who teaches actual Mad Science! Honestly, I never found these subjects interesting, ghoul, I found them boring! But Mad Science... I can't believe I'm saying this, but I love it!!! I can actually do crazy and random experiments that almost blew the classroom and not get in trouble! What's not to love about-!"

The speech of the teen was soon interrupted by a loud cough from the Headmistress. "While I understand your acceptance and... passion towards the classes, Leon, your most recent dare could hurt somebody."

"But there wasn't any monster hurt... right?" He asked with a head tilt.

"No, there was not," Bloodgood confirmed. "But, nonetheless. Such actions can't be allowed. Unfortunately for you, Mr. Hart, I will have to write you a ticket to-" Suddenly, there was a knock on the door, and before the dullahan could finish speaking, it swung open revealing the zombie girl Ghoulia Yelps is standing with a panicked look on her face.

"Ughhhh!" she shouted, earning a narrowed look from the Headmistress and a head tilt from Leon.

"What did she say?" he asked, pointing to her. While he and his folks traveled the world, or rather his world, obviously, he picked up a bit from languages across, but the languages of this world, especially the zombies is one he still hasn't deciphered much of. It sounds like something important?

"Ghoulia said that Toralei Stripe and Cleo de Nile are in a conflict again," The Headmistress replied with a sigh. "Such an event is common occurence, Ghoulia, and the two of them never go overboard."

"Ugggh!" Ghoulia shouted as Bloodgood eyes widened.

"What do you mean others are barely holding them from fighting?!" she shouted incredulously before rising from her seat and attaching her head. "Mr. Hart, wait here until I solve this matter!"

"But why? I-I mean, sure, Headmiss!" replied Leon with an inncocent tone as the principal exited her office, leaving him with her trusty steed.

"Five, four, three, two, one... I guess I waited long enough," the human teen replied counting the seconds. "Plus this is too interesting to pass up!" he declared, before rising from his seat but was stopped by a loud neight from Nightmare.

"I'm not running away, you know!" he stated, easily backing away from the supernatural horse. "I just want to see what's up with all that commotion. Maybe even lend a helping hand to stop the two ghouls from whatever they are about to do, hehe..." then he stopped until he felt his body hit the door and faster than the purple steed could react, Leon opened the door and got out.

(*)

After getting out of the office and running faster than ever in case the pet-slash-secretary of the Headmistress decided to chase him,Leon approached the source of the commotion told by Bloodgood. He gaped in wonder upon seeing the wercat Toralei and mummy girl Cleo standing face-to-face, their bodies tense and ready to lash out at each other as a huge crowd of monster teens gathered around them with the Bloodgood herself standing and trying to reason with them.

"Miss de Nile! Stop your childish behaviour this instant!"

"Come now, Cleo. Listen to the Headmistress and take deep breaths."

"I am very calm, Deuce... But just you wait what I'll do to your cheap jacket, Toralei!!!"

"Nya! You're envious of my fashion tastes now, ghoul~? Just wait and see what I will do to the next so-called exclusive brand purse of yours!!!"

"N-No Toralei! Violence isn't the answer!"

"Violence is the answer, Frankie! Now, let me go!!!"

Anyone could tell the atmosphere was thick with the anger and frustration made by both monster teen, both barely being restrained by their friends, making it difficult for anyone else to get closer to the scene then they already are.

...or at least if you weren't like Leon.

"Hey!!!!" he shouted loud enough to get all the attention to himself. "What the ghoul is going on?" he asked. "Did Toralei finally decided to tell the whole school that we're an item?"

At his words all gasped, and began whispering around.

"Mr. Hart! I believe I told you-"

"Eughh!!!" Toralei groaned, covering her mouth in disgust. "Just what is your problem, you normie weirdo!? I've already told you that I'm not interested in dating you!!!"

"A normie is crushing on Toralei!?" Cleo asked as all her anger towards the werecat turned to pity. "Oh, my Ra, dear! I never belived you had it so bad in the dating department!"

"It's not like that!" Toralei exclaimed. Her gaze returning to Cleo. "That guy keept following me around for the last few days and tells me I'm awesome too many times!

Leon just shrugged in response. "But you're awesome with your pranks and attitude and fur, Tora-Lion!"

"DON'T call me that ever again!" The werecat hissed in annoyance with a beet red blush decorating her face. "And I belived after that clip you'd finally learn the difference between us!"

"What clip?" Leon asked, receiving a glare from the aforementioned.

"A silly made-up story about Toralei origins on Spectra's blog, loud human," answered Cleo with a smug smile. "This is the whole reason why the two of us are here with a crowd around us."

"Tora-Lion origins!? I must see it!" he declared with a smile, checking out the blog of Spectra Vondergeist, but was stopped by a loud cough from the Headmistress.

"Mr. Hart! This isn't the moment for such things!"

"Oh... right," the human uttered with a shrug. "Anyghoul, why are you almost fighting again?"

At his carefree response, the mummy girl rolled her eyes. "Hearing anymore of your lack of knowledge and manners started to bore me, normie," she sighed, turning to the werecat teen. "I admit I made a bit too much of a fuss Toralei and... ugh... and I apologize."

"Cleo apologized???" uttered the rest of Cleo's ghoulfriends agape, Toralei included.

"It's not something that I do very often, but at least I get to be away from that human and his loud voice," she admited with a scoff.

"I agree with you on that, ghoul," Toralei confirmed with a tired nod. "Try being around him for more than a five minutes."

"Oh, my! I never wish upon any monster this fate, dear," Cleo added with a dramatic gasp.

"I take it you two are quick to accept detention then," Headmistress Bloodgood said, catching the two monsters. It seems they almost forgot she was here.

"Yes, Headmistress," both ghouls said with a sad sigh.

Monster High - Crepataria

"You really stopped them, Leon?" asked Jackson in bewilderment.

Alongside, Deuce Gorgon and other monster students found themselves at the humans table. Their reason for cramming all the spots being related to Leon Hart.

All the while, the teen in question didn't even pay attention to them, but had his face glued to the phone.

"He was just his usual annoying and loud self," Blake sighed from his table. "It's already too weird that more than five sit in here and I can't eat my food!"

"O-Oh, sorry about that!" exclaimed Jackson, stepping back from the table and falling on the floor, totally not scared by the mean look he got from the gray-haired teen.

"Your lack of manners never ceases to surprise," Michael replied to Blake with a most polite smile from his seat, just in the same spot as the others. Their table was overwhelmed by monster teens, making it quite a sight for the others in the room. "Their presence here is justified by the actions of our fellow Academy student, Leon Hart, and his one-sided declaration of affection towards Ms. Toralei Stripe, but also towards a recent wager if I heard properly."

"Uh, yeah, that's right, dude. That's the basic idea," Deuce replied from his seat which was just next to the royal teen. "First, did Bloodgood gave you detention for that last challenge?" he asked, not receiving an answer yet from the teen.

"Come now, man! You don't need to be shy about getting into detention," Heath pridefully declared. "There's no shame in admitting you couldn't escape the Headmistress wrath." he said, still not getting an answer.

"L-Leon?" Maximilian asked in worry.

"Unfortunately, when Leon is engrossed in something, he'll be too focused to the task at hand to listen to your questions," Ken said from his seat, but unlike the others he didn't seem to mind having his space invaded, especially since Manny Taur is seated next to him.

"I don't want to wait for the normie to answer! It's obvious he got detention!" the minoatur teen declared with crossed arms, not making an effort to hide his disdain towards the five human teens, especially Blake. After lunch, when he's alone he'll finally have a chance to get his payback with that human!

"So, we just wait until he's finished?" asked Deuce, ignoring that previous comment. "Eh, no problem." he said with a shrug.

"So, how's Monster High treating you five?" He asked, switching the topic as the other monsters present gained an interest, Manny included.

"We all have adapted in our own separated ways in this institution. Thank you for inquiring, Deuce Gorgon," Michael replied with an unfazed smile.

"That's hardly an answer," Manny scoffed from his seat.

The part-snake teen scratched his head. "I guess you're right on that Manny." then turned to the royal teen. "And you don't need to use my full name... It sounds kinda weird doing that, dude."

"That's just his way of talking to us, the 'not-nobles'," Blake replied with the air quotes raised.

"Bummer," uttered the dome-wearing teen.

"I assure you that my manner of speech is not meant to make others feel discontent towards our standing, Gill Webber," Michael answered with a calm smile. "It is how I properly address a situation or individual with the properly given respect."

The fish-teen, Gill, looked in thought for a moment before addresing one question that has been on the minds of many monsters for a while. "But how different was your previous school?"

"I haven't heard of this Academy, but it must be an exclusive institution for humans," Jackson added as Blake rolled his eyes. "Monster High seems like a big change."

"Indeed it was," Michael calmly answered with a wide, more natural smile present. Obviously, he and the others couldn't reveal too much about their origins or how they came, but this wasn't a problem for in these moments their cover-up story takes on. "The five of us were chosen as representatives for the exchange program created by our host in hopes of not only inproving the human-monster relationships, but to offer an insight on the education between the higher curriculum of the Academy and compare it to the subjects taught in the monster side. We were quite surprised since we weren't properly informed on the further details such as the location and housing, and of course our school schedules, but we have managed to adapt."

"Wow," uttered the gorgon teen, surprised. "I guess your school must be something else compared to Monster High if it was chosen for such a program."

"Precisely-"

"It sucked," replied Blake, earning a streched smile from the blue-blooded teen. "The so-called great Academy was boring and had lots of clubs you were forced to sign for."

"This is just your unfounded and ill-speculated opinion on the matter, Blake Wolfson."

"His name is Wolfson?" asked Manny with a dumbfounded look.

"Then why we were all pushed to sign for them when we didn't even want to?" The gray-haired teen questioned with narrowed eyes.

"The code of the Academy demands for it's students to be enrolled in as many extracurricular activities as possible in raising the chances of reaching their full potential."

"That's a pretty weak excuse, dude," Deuce said as he crossed his arms. "I mean, I get that it's important to try new things and all, but forcing people to do stuff they don't want to just 'cause they think it'll make them better? That's not cool."

"This is the tradition of the Academy and this method never failed since it's creation, Deuce Gorgon," Michael answered with a smile. A smile too wide and streched that it gave some of the monster teens shivers down their spines.

"C-Chillax dude!" Heath exclaimed with a sweat on his forehead taht quickly evaporated. "Deuce didn't mean to sound like a jerk, right? Right!?"

"Yeah, man," The aforementioned replied back, seemingly unnafected. "Sorry if I sounded rude."

BEEP-BEEP!*

A beeping soon came from the blue-blooded teen breast pocket, signaling that he received a message. "If you will excuse me, I must leave." he rose from his seat and calmly walked out of the creepataria.

The other monster teens exchanged glances, unsure of what just happened. After a moment of awkward silence between the remaining humans and monsters Blake spoke up.

"Saved by the bell," He quiped, hiding a smirk and biting on his burger.

"Uh, why did he go?" asked Heath.

"When this happens, he always goes to the library after lunch with that Skelita girl he took to the Maul last week," Blake casually answered between bites, earning surprised looks. "What? It's not like-"

"NO WAY!" Leon ssuddnly shouted, gaping in awe at the screen. "That's so awesome Tora-Lion!" then he took notice of the monsters at their table. "Uh? What happened?"

"M-Michael leaved to the library," uttered Maximilian.

The blond teen tilted his head. "That's why our table's overcrowded? Man! How does that guy get so much attention just for going to get a book? It's not fair!"

"N-Not really," answered Jackson. "He's actually been going there with Skelita if we belive Blake's words."

"WHAT!!!!!!" Leon shouted, attracting all the gazes in the room to their table. "I KNEW IT!!!"

"And you're wrong like many times about these things you believe," Blake replied with an ignorant sigh. Leon was among the first in the Academy that he got to knew next to the royal pain 'Mickey', and he wasn't a people's person, meaning Leon was twice as insistent towards him opening up. Unlike that royal pain, he considered Leon was a headache slightly more tolerable... except right now with his wild assumptions.

"But how did you know that guy is not actually dating behind your backs, huh!" Heath replied with a snark. "My fellow boos and normie dudes, we have a new wager then! We follow Mr. Fancy Words and see if he's actually having a date!"

"You're kidding?" asked Blake with the others having similar confused faces.

"That's a terrible idea, Heath," Deuce frowned, crossing his arms. "We shouldn't go poking our noses into other's business like that."

"But it's such a creeptacular topic!" argued Heath. "Think about it! The exchange normie that stomped all of Monster High's clubs has a secret relationship with a monster. It's so insane!"

"He's serious?" Blake deadpanned, glancing to the gorgon teen.

"That's just how Heath works things in his mind," Deuce answered.

"I'm in!" Leon declared the next second, before rising from his seat. "Oh, and also a spoiler. The Headmistress thanked me for stopping Tora-Lion and Cleo, so no detention this time."

"Oh! Come on!" The flaming-haired teen grumbled under his breath.

Monster High - Library

Just like many rooms that define Monster High as a sanctuary for the supernatural and as a place of education, the school's library fell into the same category.

Walls died in aged purple, ancient wooden floor that screaked with every step, and domnios upon dominos of dusty books. Truly a place where very few young monster teens come and search for knowledge on paper, except for the past days, a skeleton and a human have become frequent visitors.

"Thank you for helping me again, Michael," Skelita replied with a smile, seating next to the blond teen and with a mountain of books standing before them. Ever since confessing about her sixth-sense to the royal teen, the two have been going through the books of the library either during the lunch break or after classes. "I know you must be very busy during this time."

"You don't need to thank me, Miss Skelita," he replied with a smile, putting his book down. "My schedule is open during this time and I am always delighted to help you."

Pink soon decorated the skeleton's girl face at his answer as she hastly raised a book to cover her face.

Upon such a response, the blond teen found himself intrigued by the process that made such a reaction possible.

Meanwhile, hiding behind one of the dominos that house books, the Blake and Leon along with Heath Burns have been slowly taking a peek at the conversation between their unofficial leader and the skeleton girl.

"See! I told-!" Heath said, before his mouth got covered.

"Shh! They'll found out if you're so loud," Blake whispered loud enough to get his point. "And they are just reading books. Nothing more. Now can I finish my lunch which you literally dragged me from? Or you just want to spy on them?" he asked with an eye roll. The only reason he agreed to go was because Leon wouldn't stop asking like a broken record how he knows about what that royal pain does in his spare time and reluctantly agreed to come with them while the others didn't. Monsters have more respect for a royal pain like 'Mickey' free time than Leon it seems.

"Nope to the first question and yes to the second. Oh, that's where you are wrong Blake, buddy," Leon whispered, watching with narrowed eyes. "Good 'Mickey' never seemed to be in the dating game in any form possible."

"And how do you know that?" Heath asked.

"I've known him since five," Leon casually replied. "Both of our parents were also Academy students, ghoul, his pop is the headmaster there since his great-great gramps and his mom owns a literal space company."

"Whoa... That's one normie family," uttered the monster teen incredulously.

"Not to mention his ego," Blake quiped.

As the group continued to watch from their hiding spot, the only thing the skeleton and human did was reading the books, both sporting content smiles on their faces. This kept going until the very recognisable sound of the bell echoes through the library, making both lower their books.

"It seems today is another day without answers or possible leads, Miss Skelita," Michael stated, closing the book in his hands. He was the one that proposed the idea to Skelita Calaveras in hopes of not only finding an answer towards her sixth-sense that could detect the incoming Orphenochs, but to also document himself regarding the differences between his own homeworld and the one where they were called. So far, he learned valuable historical facts that made this reality differ from his own, but regarding Skelita Calaveras issue. "I apologize for today's failure."

"N-No! There is no need to apologize!" Skelita exclaimed, raising her hands up. "I-I don't hate spending time with you..." she slowly whispered. As the two stood up, Michael noticed the blush on her face before she quickly turned to hide it. He had no idea why she would react that way but he decided to ignore it for now.

"True. Sooner or later we will get our answers, Miss Skelita. We need to be patient and be undisturbed in our reasearch." the blue-blooded teen confirmed, glancing for a moment with cold eyes at the corner of the book shelves where the humans and monster teen were hiding. "May I ask how is your recent fashion project going?" he politely asked, switching topics.

"Si! It's actually going great!" The skeleton girl exclaimed, taking out of her backpack a lot of sketched detailing a black uniform embroidded with different symbols, some reminiscing of a calaveras skeleton, others looking more festive. "Since yesterday it... uh... you know again... I was a bit afraid, so I had to do something to let me pass up those worries and those new ideas for designs came to me during class!"

A light smile plastered the blue-blooded teen perfect features as he listens to Skelita's enthusiasm about her fashion project. He found it interesting how she managed to find childish joy in something so simple as drawings for fashion, but also stood brave when faced with her sixth-sense. Indeed, she is quite a fascinating being.

"That is great indeed, Miss Skelita," Michael replied. "But unfortunately, it is time we return back to our classes now."

Skelita nodded in agreement as she gathered her things and began to follow after the human teen. As they exited through the school hallways, she couldn't help but feel a pang of disappointment that they hadn't found any answers during their research. It has only been a few days since they started, but when her sixth-sense reacted the other day she was actually worried not about herself but for the others and Michael... She must find what is wrong with her, but now she was glad that he was safe and with her.

She quickly blushed at the thought with wide eyes, hastening her pace towards the next class.

As for the ones that spied on the human and skeleton, Blake Wolfson moved out of hiding and let out a deep groan.

"This was a waste of time," he said to Leon. "To think for a second I actually believed you. I'm stupid alright."

"But they looked totally like a couple, dude!" Heath countered.

"He's right buddy. Good 'Mickey' is closest than anyone of us to get a ghoulfriend! You gotta admit it he had us fooled for so long!" Leon added with conviction as Blake face-palmed.

"You're giving me a headache."

Without any words, the teen walked to the exit ignoring the human and fire-elemental that started to ramble more about that royal pain and how they will get girlfriends sooner than him and sounding too alike.

Monster High - Halls

After barely making it to the next of their classes, Leon Hart and Heath Burns had been preparing in a quiet corner of the halls during the next break. Ever since Leon stepped foot in Monster High, he took up crazy challenges or dares for good ol' fun's sake but nonetheless succeeded at them.

This of course pissed Heath Burns the wrong way since doing stunts was part of his mojo, and so there was created a one-sided rivalry between the fire elemental and adventurous human where he would do crazy stunts and challenge to see if Leon could do better. Unfortunately, he didn't have that much luck since his win count was zero, but it seems that even if they didn't seem to get along (at least from Heath's perspective), one subject made this very similar pair join forces.

"I can't wait to see Tora-Lion's face when she sees that!" Leon declared. The two holded a pair of skateboards tapped with flasks that glowed blue and orange.

"I know dude!" Heath exclaimed with a toothy smile. "Using your Mad Science skills, we will make firery stunts with our wheels this school has seen in like... EVER!!!"

"It will certainly get Tora-Lion attention to be sure!"

"And not just her, but so many other ghouls!" Heath responded with a prideful tone. "They barely could keep their hands off the Heathster before but after this I-! I mean WE will become the ghoulest guys to ever walk in this school!"

Leon laughed. "It will be terrificaly awesome!"

As the two continued to rant about their awesome scheme to impress the notorious werecat and other girls, a pair of twin golden eyes watched them from afar with mischevious glints.

Those eyes belonged to two very similar gray-haired werecats with white facial markings and white stripes running over their legs and arms. One of the key differences to tell those two apart is that one werecat has white hair and the other black. Meanwhile their clothing consists of leather jackets, bracelets and stripped shirts with dark leather heels that reach to their ankles. They are Meowlody and Purrsephone, twin sisters, best friends, and partners in mischief, not to mention henchman's to Toralei Stripe machinations.

They both watched the human and monster with irritation visible in their faces as well as wide smiles for what they are about to do, for they were sent here with one purpose only. To make that loud normie who can't tell that their feline sister isn't interested in him become someone despised by the school.

As Leon and Heath's conversation about girls continued, Meowlody and Purrsephone devised a plan of their own. With mischievous grins on their faces, they carefully strolled to the two teens without their notice and removed the tape along with the flasks from their skateboards. They, then switched the colorful compounds with one that was of an ominous green and tapped it back to the boards.

Nodding to the other, the werecat twins carefully sneaked back without being seen. Now, all they need to do is watch the show.

"Are you ready, dude?" asked Heath, receiving an enthusiastic nod.

"Let's GO!!!" Leon shouted, getting on the skateboard and quickly strolling through the halls.

"No fair! Wait for me!" Heath exclaimed, doing the same with his board and following the normie.

The two rivals rolled their skateboards down the hallway, unaware of the change made to their stunt fluid.

When they reached a corridor with an audience consisting of Heath fellow monster friends and three of Leon's Academy classmates and buddies, excitedly, they prepared to execute their stunts in front of everyone.

"What's up dudes?" Deuce greeted the pair, turning to the fire elemental. "Did you challenge the guy to a dare without us, Heath?"

The blazing teen shook his head. "Of spook not! Me and him are doing a team stunt, ghouls!" he announced as all present in the halls gained their attention.

Leon then looked at the hall of curious students. "Did anymonster saw Tora-Lion by any chance?"

"I'm here, loud normie," the orange werecat teen announced, stepping past the 'exchange' students with a haughty smirk and approaching the adventurous normie. "Nyaw, what are you planning to show us~?" she asked in an innocent tone that could barely be contained by a desire to hiss at him.

"Only the most awesome stunts dedicated to you, Sweet-Fur!" Leon declared with a wide smile, not noticing the eye twitch from Toralei.

"And not to forget the rest of the ladies that love to see two clawsome guys doing what they love!" Added Heath.

"It won't end well," Blake stated with an eye roll.

"Agreed, tired normie," the girl with blue skin and snow-white hair, Abbey Bominable confirmed.

"Rude, dude!" Heath exclaimed at him and totally not hurt by Abbey's agrrement. "You all don't even know what we're doing!"

"You'll do skateboard stunts together and that thing tapped to the back is something that will add a smoke or some special effect to make you look 'cooler'," Blake obviously answered.

"O-Of course not!" Heath stammered. "It is totally something else! You'll see!"

At these words, the human-monster duo nodded and let their skateboards pick up speed, going in opposite sides towards the exit.

Outside, the two reached a handrail across the stairs and prepared to perform a grind. They both had experience with this sort of thing, so it wasn't hard performing and reaching the end, but what they didn't notice was the stunt fluid that was replaced with an unknown chemical started to bubble up from the inside.

As they continued their stunts various stunts meant to mimic the other, the bubbling of the chemical inside the skateboards became more pronounced.

"Rad, dudes!" Deuce exclaimed along with the others cheering on them. All in all, the tricks were basic, but the fact that they were performed with such a talent and syncronization by the two thrill-seekers as if they had a lifetime of practicing together made them more formidable.

"Showoff," Blake uttered from behind.

"That is Leon's way," Ken said next to him. "He's doing this not to have fun or just to prove something, but to make others smile as well."

The gray-haired teen rolled his eyes. "That is when he's not torturing our eardrums and makes a mess later."

The rivals continued their stunts, their skateboards now emitting strange bubbles and green smoke from the back, captivating the audience with each trick they performed. The change in stunt fluid had taken effect, making their stunts even more eye-catching, but the teens weren't even aware that something was of... or rather smelled it.

"Why don't you two go inside for your finale, pretty purrlease~?" Toralei asked sweetly, barely managing to hide her mischevious smirk and carefully slipping far away.

"For you everything, Tora-Lion!" Leon declared excitedly, rushing with the skateboard to the stairs and using the accumulated momentum to propell himself in the air along with Heath Burns clumsily doing the same and landing on top. When they both got closer to the other students, they moved away in disgust. All could feel a horrible odour emanating from the duo as they immediatly folded their hands to their noses.

After a few meters ahead back in the halls, the pair spun around and facing their audience before fistbumping and bowing down.

"Thank you all, Monster High!" Both declared together.

When they rose up, instead of cheers or awed expressions, the students in front of them were gagging and coughing.

" Cough! Cough! What is this smell?!" Cleo shrieked in disgust, barely holding to her feet.

"Ugggghhhhh!" Ghoulia shouted, covering her nose.

"Dude!" Deuce exclaimed, feeling like throwing up his lunch.

"..." Maximilian immediatly fainted and hit the floor.

"Smells like yak who ate mother's herb soup without permission," Abbey said, looking unfazed by the horid smell.

"It's the end!" The vampire girl, Draculaura, gagged, dramatically falling to the floor. "Somebody tell Clawd I love him with all my heart and fangs!"

"My nose!!!" Manny shouted, trying to get away from the smell, but trips and ends up joining the scrawny human and vampire on the floor.

All in all, Heath and Leon were gazing stupefied as rest were having different negative reactions at the green compound that emanated from their skateboards.

"Dude... Why are they acting like that?" Heath asked, scratching his hair.

"I have no idea," Leon uttered. Both were oblivious to what happened that made the school look this sick even now?

The rivals looked at each other in confusion as they watched the other students reacting strangely to the smell emanating from their skateboards. The compound was still bubbling and smoking green as it filled the hall, but the two didn't even notice a strange smell or their change to stunt fluid even now.

"It's your special effects, morons," Blake commented from behind the two. Like the very few, he seemed to be unnafected by the horrid smell.

"Like, what do you mean?" Heath asked confused.

The gray-haired teen let out a long and painful sigh then pointing to the boards. "You two made a stink bomb."

At his words the two teens eyes widen up in shock and gasping once again at the scene.

"No way!!!" shouted Heath, turning to Leon. "Why did you make something like that dude?!"

"But I didn't, ghouls! I know I love to try spooky Mad Science experiments but not these kind of things!" Leon protested, facing the others that are still on their feet with angry glares pointed to him.

"You tricked me dude!" Heath accused. "I thought we could forget all about our rivalry and become buds, but I was wrong in trusting a normie!"

"What rivalry?" Leon asked, tilting his head.

"As if you didn't try to steal my place as the school's stuntsman!"

"But I don't, dude!"

As the two argued, Ken appeared together with the school nurse. She is a reanimated body, like the daughter of Frankenstein, but with light blue skin, short black hair with a white streak, light red lips, and two vertical scars that cross her red eyes, running over her face. Her dress is a turqoise skirt mixed with a black belt, black leggings, boots that match her dress, and has a black bracelet, plus a medical white labcoat.

"Is every-monster okay?" she asked, not actually receiving answers due to their condition. Soon she inhaled the green vapors and gagged in disgust. " Cough! W-Where is this smell coming from?!"

"It's his fault! Not mine!" Heath pointed to Leon.

"But I didn't do such a thing, dude!" Leon protested.

"You must stop fighting," Ken commanded, quikly rushing and gently grabbing the ones that are on the floor. "We must get them away from the smell."

As Ken spoke, the nurse nodded in agreement and quickly began assisting him in moving the affected students with Abbey Bominable joining in.

"I'll get scrawny," Blake announced with a sigh, going through the vapors to get Maximilian Skye and grabbing him by the jacket before unceremoniously draging him out. He knew something would happen, but didn't really expect this. "At least now we're even for yesterday." he said to the unconscious teen, then gazed at the loud-mouth and fire-elemental who are still in their 'who's to blame' game.

"You two get bull-head over here," he said, not grabbing their attention.

Blake grit his teeth. "I said you get that bull-head to the infirmary NOW!"

This time they heard him. "Me? But Manny must weight like a looot! Sorry dude!" Heath apologized.

"Mhaaa, I'm not heavy..." the minotaur murmured, before losing conscience again.

"DO IT!" he ordered, giving them a nasty glare that sent shivers down the spines.

"A-Alright! Fine" the monster teen quickly rushed and tried grabbing Manny by his horns and Leon joined and grabbed his legs.

With the two of them working together, they managed to lift the unconscious minotaur and carefully carry him towards the infirmary. Blake followed behind, keeping an eye on them to make sure they don't start again.

Monster High - Infirmary

"Augh... What happened?" Manny asked, regaining conscience.

"You have inhaled a chemical compound that reacted negatively for your and many others sense of smell, Mr. Taur," the nurse answered, approaching to check on him.

He gazed at the other beds in the infirmary, finding them all occupied by lots of other monster students in horrible states of disgust, plus the scrawny human, Maximilian. Next, his eyes widened, remembering what happened.

"WHERE'S THAT NORMIE!!!"

(*)

Monster High - Principal's Office

After taking those that have been affected by the horrid compound to the infirmary, it was obvious that this incident would reach Headmistress Bloodgood and she immediatly called for the ones responsible.

"What you two did is most unacceptable," The Headmistress harshly stated to the fire elemental and human teen.

"How could you, gaki!" Seimei exclaimed, dramatically pointing to Leon. Since he is officially the caretaker of the five human teens, Leon being part of, he was also called much to his dismay. "I'm all for an occasional prank and all, but something like this that would also put the blame and parents anger on yours truly?! I thought we were buddies!?"

"Not to mention your apparent involvement, Heath," Bloodgood added.

Heath huffed, crossing his arms defensively. "It's not my fault! Leon tricked me to help him!"

"Did not!" Leon retorted, glaring at Heath. "Something must've gone wrong in the making process or we'be been sabotaged or something!"

Heath scoffed. "Cheap normie excuses!"

"Not cool, dude!" Leon exclaimed.

"Well you're-"

"Enough!" Headmistress Bloodgood exclaimed, her voice booming through the room.

"Both of you are to clean up the mess you have made," she stated with narrowed eyes.

Both teens looked at each other. "How do you clean a stink bomb?" Heath asked.

"With cleaning products, of course~" Seimei answered, snapping his fingers. The next moment, a small cloud of smoke appeared behind the two as a mop along with cleaning supplies... all with a fox-motif appeared. "All supplied by your ever helpful kitsune and his many many companies, cleaning company included!"

"For now, you two shall clean up the hall and apologize to the ones that you have put in the infirmary," Bloodgood added.

"The entire hall!?" both teens exclaimed.

"Just the part that you've affected with your mishap," Seimei explained. "And complete a survey later regarding the efficiency of my products if you don't mind.~"

As the words sank in, Leon and Heath sighed heavily, knowing they had a long day ahead of them.

(*)

Monster High - Hall

"Alright! Let's start!" Leon exclaimed with a forced tone in his voice. They both had a large variety of cleaning products, mops included and cleaning solutions.

Heath sighed, not really wanting to do this but knowing they didn't have a choice. "Yeah, let's just get it done."

The human teen quickly inhaled the green funes that permeated the hall. "Can't say it smells that bad. I don't get why the others reacted this," Leon quiped, trying to find the full-half in this whole situation. His chance to impress the notorious werecat failed along with literally sending a few dozens to the infirmary because something happened to the stunt fluid wasn't the best moment in this other world, but he must keep his optimism.

As they slowly but surely began to work scrubbing and cleaning the floor, the two couldn't help but feel a mixture of emotions. Heath was of course still ticked off by everything, still believing Leon had done the whole stunt thing just to embarass him in front of the others, especially Abbey. All while, Leon was now moving frantically from corner to corner with a smile. He was still a bit upset from what happened and others may keep their distance away, but he'll make it up to them! He's still in another world at a school full of monster and he's not gonna let a small failure keep him away from enjoying everything this world and school has to offer! Plus, he can't say that he really had a chance to clean up the hall of a school, so every experience counts!

"I hope Tora-Lion at least liked our team stunt," Leon said casually, all while switching to cleaning up the lockers with a rug.

Heath just rolled his eyes. "Really, dude!" he exclaims. "I don't even get why you crush on her!? Not even I, the ladies boos, wants to have anything to do with that ghoul!"

Leon shrugged, not really having an answer. "I don't know, dude... The moment I met her since me and the others got to this place, she kinda starstruck me. She was just so awesome and cool and confident, plus didn't really seem to mind that I was a normie that much."

"Yeah, well, she's one stubborn ghoul," Heath replied, clearly unimpressed until he noticed something... something glowing. "...Also what's up with your metal band?"

"Huh?" Leon uttered, gazing at his wrist. The red gem in the bracelet let out a small tint of light. This was normally not a good sign, but, for Leon, it was what he needed! First, he needs to leave this place without being seen...

"Uh, dude!!! What is that thing outside?!!" he suddenly exclaimed, pointing at the open doors to the courtyard.

"Huh? I don't see anything?" Heath remarked, looking where the human teen pointed.

"BUT, dude!!! How can you not see it?! NO WAY!!!"

"See what?!" The fire-elemental exclaimed, trying in vain to see 'whatever' it is outside. "Just what are you seeing!?"

"Go out and maybe you'll see it more clearly, dude! No spook!" The teen suggested

Heath, of course, followed the human's suggestion and went outside, squinting his eyes as he looked around trying to see whatever captivated him. It was then that he heard the sound of the doors quickly shutting.

"Hey! What gives!" The fire-elemental exclaimed, trying to push open the doors, but they wouldn't move.

Meanwhile, inside, Leon quickly ran up, following the red glow of the bracelet. He honestly felt like a child on a treasure hunt and loved it, for this was his time to shine after all!

Following the red gem until it was glowing like a turned on flashlight, the blonde teen was inches away from a door to a very familiar classroom.

"The Mad Science class?" he questioned.

"And, may I know what are you doing here, gaki?" asked the very familiar voice of Seimei as he arrived from the opposite direction.

"Uh, clean-up duty?" He said, pointing not to subtly to his very glowing wrist.

The fox earred-man dramatically rolled his eyes. "I thought you were supposed to clean up your mess, not this kind!" He accused with crossed arms before hearing what is definetly an explosion coming from inside the classroom. "Buuut~ since you were the fastest one and all of that." then snapped his fingers, producing in his hand the silver briefcase containing the Faiz Gear and handed it to the enthusiastic teen that immediatly rushed to the door.

"And behind door number one we have...!" Leon exclaimed as he opened the door, revealing the once incredible class filled with various scientific equipment and experiments out of horror movies looking in a state not as worse than what many failed projects could have turned this room into. And in the center of the room stood an Orphenoch.

Like many of it's kind, it is covered in gray-white armor that seems to be a part of it's body with a cracked emblem in the waist, but also has a tarnished grey cloak that hides a part of it's cracked body and left hand that seems to be deformed, giving it a hammer-like impression. But what is clear more than ever is the hooded face of the creature that is badly hidden. One look can tell you that it's face looks like that of a giant snail.

The wide smile and enthusiasm of the teen drops immediatly because this Orphenoch in comparison to others fought by the others looked weak and... harmless? That is if you consider harmless the act of consuming various chemicals and eating paper while making a mess of the classroom to be so.

"Man!" He groaned in a disappointed tone. "My debut and I have to fight a giant snail?"

"It's part of what you signed for in this sekai, shounenen~" Seimei whispered with a mischevious smile.

"Not awesome at all!!!" Leon complained loudly, which immediatly switched the attention of the hungry Orphenoch to himself. The next moment, the creature let out a gurgling noise that sounded more like a clogged sewer which only made the teen even more disappointed.

He nonetheless took out a deep breath of air, as if preparing. "Let's do this!" he quickly declared, opening the briefcase and taking the belt, connecting it to his waist, then took the phone.

(5-5-5)

He pressed ENTER.

[Standing By!]

"Aaaand HENSHIN!" Leon shouted, rasing the phone above his head before connecting it to the belt blank space, sliding it.

[Complete!]

A surge of energy pulses through the red bars, releasing laser-like projections around Leon's body. With another glow, the adventurous teen was clad in the futuristic armor, becoming Faiz.

"Awesome," he said, checking his armored form in awe. He didn't do anything yet, but he's already loving it in spite of the lame opponent he has.

"Now, let's switch up the battlefield!" Seimei announced, loudly snapping his fingers as pink lights soon envelop the armored teen and the snail-like Orphenoch and the two soon vanish.

(*)

???

As the lights cleared, Leon found himself and the creature standing on an empty beach with view to the sea and a clear blue sky and sun shining on top.

"Wow... it's weirder the second time this teleportation thing," he commented, gazing at the tropical view as the familiar mechanic crow soon landed on a nearby palm tree.

"You'll get used to it," the crow answered.

Meanwhile, the snail-like Orphenoch looked utterly lost and confused, spinning wildly. Why it did that was unknown.

"Stop it, dude... or whatever you are! We have to fight!" Faiz called out. That moment, the creature instantly tensed up and gazed with it's elongated eyes at the armored teen. It immediatly let out a more loud and twisted roar and faster then Leon could react, it hit him with it's deformed fist right in the face!

The hit sent Faiz backpedalling. "H-Hey! Not awesome..." the armored teen complained as the Orphenoch kept striking Faiz head with it's hands. He didn't have time to raise his guard up and with a nasty uppercut from the Orphenoch hammer-like hand, Faiz was sent flying back and hit a palm tree.

"I seee preeeetty stars..." Faiz mumbled, having too many hits in the head.

"That's what you get when you act before thinking, gaki," the crow said from the very same tree top. "Find it's weakness and strike at the right time!"

"Goot it, fox guuuy!" Faiz exclaimed, woobly getting up on his legs and shacking off the dizziness from his head. "Time for round two then!" he declared, a bit more clear-headed and getting into a fighting position.

The creature roared in response and charged at Faiz once more, but this time the armored teen was ready. He skilfully dodged the first few fists aimed at him and tried to land a punch back on the Orphenoch. However, the creature's armor, or rather it's entire body was coated with a slimy substance that absorbed the impact, making it difficult for Faiz to do any significant damage.

"Ew!" The armored teen cried out as a part of the slime secreted by the creature was on it's fist. "That's just gross, dude!" he complained, but suddenly got an idea.

"And I really hope you're not a sea slug!" faster then the creature could react, Faiz immediatly took out some sand in his hand and splashed it into the Orphenoch.

The creature immediatly let out a pained hiss as the sand hit its slimy body, causing it to recoil in pain and the slime covering its body started to bubble and churn, reacting to the granular material.

The armored teen, who was watching carefully, stepped forward.

"Ouch! Your parents didn't told you that sand is bad for you, didn't they?" Faiz said in a cheeky tone, taking advantage of the situation.

The creature let out a furious roar, its eyes filled with rage as it tried to shake off the burning sensation caused by the sand.

While it was distracted, Faiz quickly retrived the briefcase and took out the silver camera. He took the mission memory from the phone then inserted it over the lens.

[Ready!]

The device announced, switching it's handle, giving it a knuckle duster-like appearance.

"I don't have anything against you, but it's payback time!" the armored teen shouted, pressing ENTER.

[Exceed Charge!]

The right bar sparked to life and light traveled through Faiz body until it reached the gauntlet-like weapon and he quickly charged at the Orphenoch and thrusted the transformed camera at it head.

ROAAARRRR!*

The creature let out a bone-chilling screech as red energy from the decice covered it's body and the symbol of Faiz manifested behind it.

"Hyaah!" The armored teen shouted, pushing further his attack and slamming the Orphenoch straight in the projection as it was propelled far away into the water and exploded into dust and embers that were scattered by the wind and sea.

"Woohoo! I did it!" Faiz cheered, raising his armed hand victoriously in the sky.

[Shutdown!]

The belt announced, beeping as the red lines of the suit glowed and retracted back in the armor, dissolving it.

"Man! That was awesome!!! And I'm so smart! I must be a genius!" Leon praised himself, enjoying the moment.

"Fortunately, you're not!" The crow exclaimed, landing on Leon's shoulder. "Mataku! Good thing you at least caught up on the hint, gaki." It said with relief in it's voice.

"So, the beach teleport wasn't random?" the teen asked, only receiving a silent head shake from the crow. "Meh, at least I got to make my debut half as awesome as I imagined it to be!" he said with a content smile. "Although I wanted a more awesome-looking opponent, it was worth all that waiting and getting hit in the-"

"And now, how did you escape from cleaning duty?" the mechanic bird asked, it's eyes literally glowing red.

Leon gulped. "Uh... you see..."

(*)

Monster High - Entrance

"Dude! Open this door!" Heath exclaimed, banging on the door for quite a while. "First, you ruin my reputation and now you ban me from entering the school?!"

"O-P-E-N U-P!" the fire elemental shouted, struggling to open the doors, until finally giving up and screaming in frustration.

Unbeknowst to him, while he was sulking, the doors opened.

"What's up, dude?" asked Leon with a smile, getting Heath's attention.

"What's up!? Why did you lock me out and-" he wanted to finish, but was left gasping at the sight in front of him. The very hall that they have been ordered to clean up was spotless and shiny, like it was made of glass. "H-How did..."

"How did I what?" Leon asked with a playful smile.

"Y-Y-You are... AMAZING!!!" Heath shouted in wonder. "It's all spot clean! How did you do it?!"

"I just seem to have a talent for cleaning, dude," Leon pridefully responded. "Now you believe I didn't want for our stunt to go like this?"

Heath didn't answer, but kept gazing at a locker that acted as a mirror. "Hello handsome!" he greeted his reflection. "Oh, you are so flaming today, I barely recognised you!"

"Uh, dude?" asked Leon.

"Oh, yeah! I totally do!" the fire elemental responded, not moving his eyes from his reflection.

"Nyah!?" the voice belonging to Toralei Stripe and her fellow werecats was heard as Leon turned and saw them in utter shock.

"How did you clean up the stinknip?!" she demanded, pointing at Leon.

"Stinknip?" The teen asked, just as the feline girl realized she slipped up.

"O-Oh! It's nothing! You did a great job! Just..." as she along with her henchgirls tried to step back, they suddenly hit someone. That someone being Seimei.

"Stinknip, you said~?" He asks with a mischevious smile, turning to the human teen. "From what I know, stinknip is a certain shokubutsu, or a subspecies of the classic catnip that emanates a horrid smell to many monster species, but the very few ones that are hardly affected are smell-resistant humans like yourself, gaki, and..." then his eyes took on a dangerous glint akin to that of a predator. "Werecats like the three ladies before you.~"

Leon gasped. "Tora-Lion did it?!"

"Huh? Toralei did what?" Heath asked, breaking away from his reflection.

"It seems the young feline lady over here with her antourage were the ones that brought you in all this mondais," Seimei responded then seeing Heath scrath his hair in stupidity. He sighed and explained in simpler terms. "Mataku. They were the ones that sabotaged your performance."

"What?!" Heath exclaimed, bursting in flames. The fire elemental turned to face Toralei and her fellow werecats. "That's going too far!" he shouted, pointing an accusing finger at them.

"Nyah! How dare you accuse us of such a thing!? We would never..." The werecat retorted in an innocent tone, trying in vain to hide her mischevious snicker. "Oh fine! We did it and it was a failed prank if it didn't erase that loud mouth's optimism!" she pridefully confessed, seeing there is no reason to lie anymore.

Leon was taken back. "But why?" he asked.

"Do I even need to repeat myself?!" the werecat exclaimed. "You're annoying and loud and I doubt there's a girl unalive that wants to date you, most of all me!"

"Ouch! That's also too far," Heath said, feeling sympathy for Leon. "Wait... But why me as well?!"

The werecat teen rolled her eyes. "You were merely an extra, Heath."

"That is more than enough, young ladies," Seimei said, quickly interventing before things could escalate.

"And what are you going to do, gramps?" Toralei taunted him, but the fox earred-man simply smiled before producing his ICoffin. An ICoffin with the name and phone number of Headmistress Bloodgood on it's call screen.

"Miss Stripe!!!" Echoed the voice of the Headmistress from the device but as well from the halls. The werecats tensed as the michevious smile of Toralei faded and was replaced with a look of panic.

"Who's the old one now, ojou-chan~?"

"Oh! You're in trouble!" Heath laughted.

"I hate this day..." Toralei groaned in defeat.

(*)

The next day at Monster High, there was only commotion in every corner. The reason being, that thanks to a certain ghost girl who can somehow get her hands on rather sensitive information, plus the good ol' gossip of every-monster, Toralei Stripe together with the werecat sisters were the main subject along with some 'exchange' students.

Back at the halls, Leon along with his Academy buddies were once again the newest topic.

At every corner they walk, three of the five normie teens were surrounded by grateful monsters for two reasons actually.

One, to apologize for suspecting Leon Hart was intentionally responsible for the stink bomb.

"Yes! It was totally awesome and I will do another stunt for sure, ghouls!" Leon declared in his usual happy-go-lucky optimism. In response, many monsters cheered for him, especially the girls.

Two, thanks to the ghostly reporter and her blog portraying their good deed, Blake along with Ken, were treated like heroes with ghouls going fangirl over them.

"You were so spooktacular, Ken!" exclaimed a girl with pink skin and cat ears.

"Mrrr, so brave!" swooned another girl with similar skin but sharp ears and whiskers like a lion.

"And very courageos like Romeo!" added another girl with ashen skin, longer ears and with round glasses.

The teen in question merely nodded and smiled back at their words, feeling grateful for the compliments, which in turn made the monster girls swoon more.

Meanwhile, Blake Wolfson did receive a similar treatment, but with a little difference.

"No one understand me..." Blake sighed, his voice barely reaching the crowd of zombie monsters that surrounded him. Make no mistake, they were all very grateful for the gray-haired teen and his most recent deed, bu the fact that they almost swarmed him with happy incomprehensible to the human-ear grunts, made this another in a long day of choices that bit him back.

(*)

As for the feline trio, after it was found out that they were the ones behind the prank, not Leon and Heath, they were punished to clean up the rest of the school for a whole month. Their first task now, was taking out the trash accumulated in the creepataria.

"Grr!" Toralei hissed. "Just you wait, you loud-mouthed normie! I'll have my payback!" she swore, all while struggling to move out a giant trash bag that reeked. Besides her, the werecat sisters could just roll their eyes and struggle to not barf.

(*)

Fox Flare Cafe

While the five teens were at school, Seimei usually spent his time taking care of the cafe in case a customer would appear, or at least that's what he tolds them, because for a long while, the fox-earred man was in the only area that he forbade the young heroes from entering. The garage.

"Mataku. You are quite the carefree one, young Leon, especially since I'm the one that made your hall mondai go away," Seimei commented, gazing at a holographic image of the aforementioned getting the celebrity treatment along with the others.

He smiled at the image, "You are all good gakis," His golden eyes then gazed at a nearby table. There, among countless blueprints and tools, a belt corroded by rust with a nearby cellphone in the same condition was placed.

"Which is why I must repair the second gear now more than ever... I hope I'm wrong, but the recent attacks start to have a pattern. I must hurry or else this sekai won't stand a chance if it figures out the residents aren't capable of defending themselves against it's puppet army..."

C-Chotou mate! T-This part was supposed to happen a tad later in our story, not like this! Mou~! But! Since you were this patient and supportive until now, a little hint wouldn't hurt, althought that's the last one!

Next time, we'll see what is a day like for the last and in my very humble opinion, the most worthy of the shounens to carry the mantle of a hero! We all know who it is, but to keep up our short tradition, we'll meet again next time!
