Chapter 11
Future of the Heiress
Weiss and 2099 flew down into the city once more. As Hobgoblin has proved, he was as smart as he was crazy. He was also more swift and agile as he flew down; any chance the two heroes got to hit him was met with fast moves and getting slammed across the tunnel wall.
At the moment, Weiss wished she knew how to summon, but she couldn't dwell on what she couldn't do but what she could do. "Hey!" Weiss shouted, getting 2099's attention. "Follow my lead and do as I say!"
"Hey, who I am to refuse a lady!" he teased.
Weiss spun around and readied Myrtenaster. Suddenly several small white glyphs surrounded her. Her rapier's tip glowed red. "Move in front of me now!" 2099 swiftly did so, and immediately multiple fireballs came from the glyphs down around them at rapid speed. One of the fireballs hit, Hobgoblin fell back and soon enclosed in a circle of fireballs. "Go now!"
2099 instantly dove down, aiming straight in the circle down his best not to hit the fire. As soon as 2099 got close, he punched Hobgoblin's head. This was enough to throw the Hobgoblin again off balance. Hobgoblin once again was hit by the "hail of fireballs!" This caused him to tumble and get hit each time. As they got close, Weiss lowered her sword, and the glyphs and fireball disappeared. Hobgoblin toppled to the ground and landed on his wings, and was about to get up and fly again. 2099 was about to land but looked up and saw Weiss falling, but she wasn't using her glyphs. "Weiss!" 2099 yelled. However, it didn't look like she heard him. 2099 quickly jumped out, caught her in his arms, and landed back on his feet, still holding Weiss bridal style.
He looked in his arms. He was right Weiss was barely awake; he was amazed that she was still holding her rapier as strongly as she was. "Weiss, you okay?" 2099 asked as he shook her. Weiss's eyes snapped back into alert almost immediately. 2099 sighed with relief. "Good, but can you not stop my heart like that. I need it."
Weiss looked at him and didn't say a word but only nodded mostly to calm his concern. She had never made a move like that before; it was a risk. She knew Madame Web extended her aura and hence her semblance, but she's been using it to basically move. That took a bit out of her. If it wasn't for him again, she'd be injured far worse.
Suddenly there was cackling that brought the two back to the situation at hand. Weiss quickly jumped from 2099's arms and readied herself once again as 2099 did the same.
The Hobgoblin cackled once again. "You two aren't going to get rid of me that way." He flapped his wings harder. "Wings, remember?"
2099 groaned. "But that doesn't make…" He then stopped. "That's not just nanofiber. It's nanofiber mesh."
"Meaning?" Weiss asked, both confused and annoyed.
"This can't be done by just him," 2099 explained. He then pointed to him. "You didn't make those yourself; someone made you!"
Hobgoblin chuckled. "So perceptive," he teased.
Weiss turned around as she began to hear something. "We have—"
"I hear."
Suddenly flying cars began to surround them. Weiss sighed, annoyed. "Well, this is perfect."
"Must have attracted some attention with our skydiving routine," 2099 added.
Soon the two were surrounded by three large futuristic vehicles surrounded the platform. "Aww," Hobgoblin taunted. "And just you were getting warm." Hobgoblin stayed flying in the "We'll have our discussion later… if you're ever free." He then cackled as he flew around.
"He's staying?" Weiss questioned.
"He either he likes us or really wants to kill us?
Weiss glared at him a bit. "He's an insane psychotic killer and a monster."
"Statistically, that makes the probability half and a half with him."
Weiss was about to argue, but she stopped. That was actually an excellent point. This psychotic maniac does strange things, but she was definitely with the idea of Hobgoblin wanting to kill them and keeping the fragment. Soon Weiss and 2009 were surrounded by Public Eye guards and the Hobgoblin. "Permission to use lethal force granted!" called the commander.
Weiss readied her weapon as she spun the lock system. "Are you ready?"
2099 chuckled as he got into fighting position. "They're not holding back! Neither will we!'
As soon as 2099 said that, the guards charged towards them, and Hobgoblin watched for the right moment.
Weiss looked around at her situation as the guards surrounded her on all sides. She quickly turned her lock system. She immediately stabbed her rapier in the ground, and ice spikes came up, making a line and knocking some of the Public Eye. Weiss quickly turned to the side, blocking the man's punch with her rapier. Weiss quickly flipped, kicking him in the face causing him to back away. As soon as Weiss landed, she used her weapon to this time block a shock stick. "Just hold still, you little—"
Suddenly a white glyph appeared under her, and she pushed him forward and then kicked and spun, slicing him, and he fell to the ground and disappeared. "I wouldn't dare finish that," Weiss said as she stood with Myrtenaster.
Suddenly Weiss heard a ticking sound and turned to see bombs flying towards her. Weiss immediately summoned her white glyph under her, and she was launched backward, and it exploded near her, and she repeated the process a few more times. As soon as Weiss stopped, she felt someone roughly grab the back of her head, causing her to gasp in pain. She was then thrown across the platform. As soon as Weiss got up, a different Public Eye soldier with a shield slammed it against Weiss, causing her to skid across the platform. Weiss roughly stood up. Weiss gritted her teeth and then slashed her sword as if she was cutting something. She summoned a bunch of glyphs surrounding guards. Weiss quickly switched her lock system to white and speed against the glyphs. At top speed, Weiss bounced of each glyph hit Public Eye soldiers were hit; even the Public Eye soldiers, not hit, still got blasted by the wind. Hobgoblin chuckled and threw the bomb in. However, as soon as the bomb neared it. It immediately flew back and hit, causing Hobgoblin to be sent flying back.
Weiss stopped and landed on her knees as the glyphs disappeared. As soon as Weiss stood up and turned back, all the Public Eye she fought fell down to the ground and vanished. Weiss gave a smile. "Okay, I'm not telling anyone how cool that felt," she thought. "This chaos did help with making more moves for the tournament."
2099 quickly dodged the punches that a few of the Public Eyes soldiers delivered. "I know this is a bad time," 2099 teased as he continued to elude those punches. "But I would like to say," 2099 quickly did a split kick to the side, kicking the two soldiers to the side. He then did a downward hit on the man in front of him, using his spikes. "But I'm not with him!" The soldiers he hit then disappeared. "Now," he said calmly. "Sorry, to drop the bomb on you guys, but—"
Suddenly his head started buzzing. 'Spider-sense?" He suddenly heard a ticking sound he looked to see a bomb rapidly beeping. "Oh sho—" he quickly moved, and before he could finish his words, the bomb went off. Spider-Man flew out of control but was able to land on his knee. "I didn't mean literally!" As a "response," another bomb was thrown. 2099 quickly jumped back. "Hobbies more of the problem," 2099 thought. "Right now, the Public Eyes are distractions." 2099's spider-sense kicked in, and instantly, he focused his energy on speed. He looked around as if in slow motion; another bomb was slowly heading towards him, and a few Public Eye enemies charging. "Now I've got to—"
"Hey!"
2099 looked to see Weiss moving at regular speed. 2099 figured his new spider-sense was working overtime. It must have sensed the bomb and Weiss doing her time dilation thing. Then an idea hit him. "Hey, ever heard of 'lock, load repeat' plan."
Weiss looked unfazed but slightly smile. "Do you want a slight shot?"
"Uhh, no," 2099 uttered. "Sometimes, I can't tell. I'm not sure if she's joking or being serious. Why do I feel like it's both?"
Weiss quickly summoned a black glyph. 2099 immediately flew towards it, kicking with both feet, being stuck in place. Weiss spun around, and the circle in the glyph followed. As soon as she was in the position, she lowered her rapier in a quick launching motion, and 2099 flew towards the Hobgoblin. That's when time stable once again.
The bomb landed near the final group of charging Public Eyes, causing them all to blast back and then disappear. 2099 flipped and kicked Hobgoblin, forcing him to the ground. 2099 landed to the ground as the Hobgoblin growled as he looked up. 2099 gave joking sault. "This is old but "happy trails!""
Before Hobgoblin could respond, he heard ticking and looked down to see a white glyph blinking multiple colors. It immediately exploded, sending Hobgoblin shooting out and away from the platform.
Hobgoblin recovered, but it was apparent he was weakened, and he knew it. Hobgoblin growled. "You two are ruining all my fun!" Hobgoblin flew off, again, through the building.
"Hey, someone has too!" 2099 yelled back. "And if we're not there in five minutes, start beating yourself up without us."
Weiss frowned. "He got away again."
2099 looked to her. "Yep, but he's too weak to do any more surprises. We need to follow." 2009. He then joking bowed gestured the direction where Hobgoblin was. "Milady."
Weiss rolled her eyes as she summoned her glyphs and began jumping to each one. 2099 soon followed, swinging to the platform; however, there was an elevator, and the two hopped on the top. The two heroes were soon being lifted to the top.
Weiss and 2099 hopped off and landed directly on the platform; the two didn't have to look far to see they were face-to-face with Hobgoblin alone with no Public Eye insight. It was only the heroes and the psycho.
"Don't take this the wrong way," 2099 started. "But the more I get to know you, the less I like you."
"No," Weiss said. "Take offense! I really don't like you!"
Hobgoblin chuckled as he started to fly up. Weiss quickly took out her weapon, ready to shoot him down. "Oh, but there's so much more to learn about me!" he yelled. Soon he started glowing bright orange, even his wings. "Take my psi-power, for instance!" Soon purple blast came out. The two heroes guarded themselves against the explosion as the held their arms up and were blasted back. However, when the two looked up, the city had changed. The skies were red, and the buildings looked warped.
Weiss was stunned as she was looking around, confused. "I-I-I..." Weiss stuttered speechlessly. Suddenly Weiss grabbed her head and groaned.
"Weiss!" 2099 said as he rushed to her side. Weiss groaned but shook her head, trying to avoid help, but 2099 didn't bother.
"Not bad, eh?" Hobgoblin taunted as was Weiss in pain, and 2099 looked up at the villain with death glares. "Let's see what happens when I add the fragment's power to the mix!"
Before two could even register, another blast hit. When the two looked up again, to see demons similar to Hobgoblin but different started up from almost nowhere. "wh-wh-what's happening…?'" 2099 now found himself stuttering. Suddenly his head started to tingle like crazy.
"Look out!"
Suddenly 2099 was pushed to the ground as other demons swooped over his head. He sat up and looked to see Weiss getting up on her knees. She saved him. "Uhh," 2099, "you know out of all the woman I know she's the most complicated… and she only one not trying to kill me… well, she hates me a bit, but not enough to kill me, I'm not that bad."
Suddenly the ground started to shake as Weiss was still on her knees 2099 was still sitting up. The two looked back to the front, and they were horrified to see a giant shadowy version of Hobgoblin looming over the two. "Oh Gods," Weiss muttered, horrified.
"Oh… I like this!" the shadow Hobgoblin exclaimed.
2099 shook his head as he looked to the platform's lifted center, as it sent more purple pulses. "This…" 2099 started to speak, still stunned. "This can't be real…"
Hobgoblin and the large shadowy chuckled madly, and this time the two actually felt a shiver down their spine. "WELCOME TO MY REALITY, SPIDER-MAN, AND LITTLE ICE QUEEN!"
Weiss frowned. She was terrified, but she really hated Ice Queen, especially from that winged thing. However, soon after his words, the three small demons swarmed down on the three. Weiss quickly grabbed her saber, swiftly changed the loading system, stabbed the ground, and immediately, an ice ball surrounded them.
Inside the iceball, Weiss sighed with relief as she removed Myrtenaster from the ground. "That should give us time," Weiss said.
"That's—"
"Don't say it!"
2099 sighed as he stood up. "I was going to say great." Weiss frowned; she could even feel 2099 smirk. Suddenly, the ice ball shook as little ice shards fell. "But I don't think it will last long."
"You must be get rid of these creatures!"
2099 looked up and saluted as if he could see someone. "Hey, long time no see."
"I prefer no see," Weiss muttered.
"Be aware, Ms. Schnee," Madame Web spoke in a deadpan tone. "I am aware of ever whisper as well as every thought. There is very little you can hide. Also, I do not care to waste time."
Weiss didn't say a word. She hated to admit it, but Madame Web was like her… looking through the mirror was not as great as people thought, especially considering SHE was the one being scolded.
Suddenly, the ice shelter shook again. "I'd hate to break a lady's conversation, but Hobby's world of crazy wants us back, and we don't have tickets."
"The demons must go; if not, Hobgoblin's world will continue to grow. You two must end this now."
Weiss had a feeling she was talking to her, but she was right; they don't have time. And she was the one wasting it on figuring out why the hero doesn't act her way. She may still be thinking that, but right now, the mission was more important.
2099 snapped his fingers, getting Weiss's attention. "It's not him creating things. It's us seeing them."
Weiss raised her eyebrow. "I'm not sure I understand yet."
"It's part of genetic science," 2099 paused for a minute. "Sort of. You see, you can create illusions make it real with enough genetic altering, or if you're born with it, you can create, say demon things that can mess with senses like Spider Senses."
Weiss then had another realization sunk. "My head hurt because it hurt my senses and my aura."
"Yep," 2099 said. "Though the sky turning red and the larger shadow of him would be too much unless—"
"He has a power source large enough to alter his genetics, to increase and heal him."
"Now, your singing the right song," 2099 said before the ice ball shook again but broke more than before. "Now, we just got to get him to sing it."
"I know," 2099 looked to Weiss. "It's like Madame Web said: destroy the demons. I have a teammate, she can make clones of herself, but if you break focus, they can go away." 2099 looked at her Weiss, could feel it, it was a smile. Weiss sighed. "Look, I'm—"
Suddenly, Weiss felt a slap on her back and quickly realized it was 2099 slapping her. Weiss glared at him for a minute. "I don't need you to say anything," Weiss was shocked but insincerity in his voice. "Just let's work together against the Freaker."
Weiss sighed and nodded. "That is a perfect idea… I'm still not telling him that."
Suddenly the ice ball shook and broke more than before. Both heroes knew one more hit, the ice ball would completely be shattered, and then they would be back into the fray. Weiss ready her weapon. "I can take two," Weiss said immediately, though it was more like an order. "You can have one, and when he's lost focus—"
"Oh, I can get him," 2099 said, readying himself. "I'll welcome him to our world."
As soon as the words were said, the ice ball shook, and the ice completely broke and shattered fell to the ground in pieces. The heroes immediately began to fight.
Two phantom Hobgoblin, almost as planned, went for Weiss. Weiss swiftly dived out of the wave, narrowly missing the two creatures. Weiss immediately summoned several white glyphs in a zig-zag pattern. Weiss promptly leaped and with great speed dodged them; she also slashed at the phantom Hobgoblins. As soon as she jumped off her last glyph, she turned her ammo turn system to red and flames from the tip-off Myrtenaster. As soon as the fire hit and destroyed the phantom hobgoblins, Weiss landed roughly to the ground but had her fourth position of a ballet move… out of habit.
The Hobgoblin winced slightly but still remained focused as the one phantom Hobgoblin that swooped down. "Opps," 2009 taunted as rolled out of the way as the shadow hit the ground. "Sorry, I would still like this outfit to be shadow Hobby free, thanks." He then webbed the shadow demon despite it's shrieking and struggling. 2099 immediately swung the shadowy creature around. "But say hi to Hobby for me," he grunted before throwing it directly at the Hobgoblin… the original. As soon as the shadow hit the Hobgoblin, it vanished, and the Hobgoblin lost all concentration.
The illusion broke, and in the world of 2099, New York was back the way it uses to be. Hobgoblin growled and immediately started flying in the air. "RUN! RUN! HA! HA! HA! HA!" he hysterically cackled as he threw two bombs. In the two heroes' direction, Weiss quickly dived out of the way, just missing the explosion. However, just as 2099 was about to dive out of the way, he barely missed causing him to land roughly on his side. Hobgoblin cackled. "I'd run too if I were me." He then threw two bombs. Before 2099 could react, a black glyph appeared, and the bombs stuck to it. Weiss smirked and spun and swiped her sword down, and the bombs flew right back to the Hobgoblin, causing him to fall to the ground.
2099 quickly stood up and looked at Weiss. "Did you smile saving me? That means your warming up to me." he teased.
Weiss frowned immediately. "Get him before I regret it!"
2099 swiftly shot a webline at Hobgoblin and immediately pulled himself towards The Hobgoblin and gave him several swift kicks and sharp uppercuts. 2099 gave one quick uppercut the sent the Hobgoblin flying backward. The Hobgoblin growled and before Weiss or 2099 could do anything. Almost in the blink of an eye, the Hobgoblin flew back to the platform and used the tablet once more, entering back into the Hobgoblin's twisted world.
Weiss's head hurt but not as much as it did before, but she hated to be in the demon's insane world even if it was an illusion. Suddenly Weiss heard a shrieking sound. "Those demons," she muttered.
"Look out!"
Weiss quickly turned around but was too late at the shadow demon rammed into her stomach took her up into the air with her.
"Weiss!" 2099 exclaimed. He, on instinct, shot his webline. However, 2099 was immediately tackled, and 2099 rolled to the ground. He was then facing the shadow demon screeching at him. 2099 growled at him as he was looking dead straight at the creature. "Trust me, when I say," 2099 practically growling. The dark creature launched himself at 2099. This time 2099 was ready; he jumped up. Putting his forearms in front of him, his costumes 'claws' into the creature's back as soon as he landed. The creature screeched in pain. Despite that, 2099 then readied his claws and scratched the creature's face causing it to vanish as 2099 roughly landed on his feet. "Don't make me mad," he finished. "I'm glad it wasn't a real person," he muttered, looking at his claws like a distant memory.
Weiss finally gasped for air as she was still in the grasp of the shadow demon. Weiss gritted her teeth as she turned the turned her lock system with her thumb. "I…have… had… enough of you!" Using her strength, she stabbed the with her rapier red, causing the explode/vanish, leaving a red swirl as she began to fall. She looked down, gave a small smile as she was closing to something she REALLY wanted to hit as she turned her lock system.
"Hey!"
The Hobgoblin, having lost his concentration with a headache, looked up. Weiss swung Myrtenaster pointed it directly at the Hobgoblin as a blast of wind swirled around the Hobgoblin. 2099 noticed that it not only hurt the Hobgoblin but kind of trapped him. "Now!" Weiss yelled as she quickly wielded back her sword. 2099 immediately shot a webline at Hobgoblin, pulled himself forward, and kicked the Hobgoblin in the stomach. And once again, restoring the world back to its normal self.
Hobgoblin flew back on the platform, but he was too weak to use the Tablet as Weiss and 2099.
"You know," 2099 quipped. "I've wanted to shut you up."
"That I can agree on," Weiss added.
Hobgoblin growled. "Well, why don't we go for a ride?" Before the heroes could react, the Hobgoblin dove at Weiss, grabbing her this time, she dropped her rapier.
"Not this time," 2099 shouted as he shot a webline around Hobgoblin's leg and grabbed Myrtenaster before he started to fly up.
Hobgoblin cackled. "You picked the wrong day to play."
Weiss slightly growled. "You picked on the wrong Heiress and huntress!" Weiss used both her feet and kicked the Hobgoblin in the stomach. The Hobgoblin was forced back, and Weiss was released. Immediately 2099 pulled himself up. "Delivery!" he shouted as he threw Weiss's rapier to her. Weiss quickly grabbed it as she summoned a glyph to land on it and make her way down.
As 2099 got the Hobgoblin in his grasp as the two began to fall. 2099 began to rapidly punch him. Hobgoblin grabbed his wrist and tried to hit him. However, 2099 held Hobgoblin's fist and, with his free hand and punched him again. 2099 quickly grabbed Hobgoblin's wings, moving each to the side, causing them to fall down faster. "You bragged about your fancy wings," 2099 then kicked him in the face. "let's see you land without 'em!" 2099 the deliver on finally kick to the stomach, slamming the Hobgoblin to the ground.
2099 flipped and landed beside Weiss. Hobgoblin weakly lifted his arms at least to fight again as he moaned. However, it was no use as the Hobgoblin slipped into unconsciousness.
2099 looked to Weiss. "You know I wouldn't have minded if you gave him a few blows."
Weiss slightly blushed. Despite her skills with Myrtenaster and her semblance, she had very little in hand-to-hand combat with glyphs she didn't need to, that and she would even call herself the strongest, more… speed and flexible. In fact, her kicking is the best thing she can do without her semblance. She was not going to 2099 that. "I did what I need," she responded firmly.
"You've done it, Spiderman. Ms. Schnee! And not a moment too soon."
"You said it, Web," 2099 responded.
"I'll say," Weiss added.
2099 walked closer to the Hobgoblin. Weiss followed, both curious of what he was looking at and getting the tablet that suddenly floated above the Hobgoblin. "Now," 2009 said more severely. 2099 hummed as he looked at the wings. "Looks like nano fused with… bio-organic circuitry?!"
Weiss hummed. "You're right. He couldn't have done this by himself."
2099 looked to Weiss. "I didn't know you knew about genetics and circuitry."
"I don't," Weiss answered honestly. "But like a said, I am Heiress to a company, and we do experiment with the dust. I know combinations like this aren't just done with an amateur lab in the basement. Unless they have special equipment or—"
"There are two really smart people involved," 2099 finished. "Well, I know only corporation has technology advanced enough for this." 2099 finally turned to Weiss. "Alchemax."
Before Weiss could respond, they began to hear sirens. The two nodded at each other as Weiss used her glyphs, and 2099 shot a webline on a building to get away as the Public Eye started to arrive.
"This is… amazing."
Weiss was being scanned and scanned again as her outfit and a bit of her energy was coming back.
As soon as they left, 2099 lead Weiss back to his place with a large lab in a separate room. 2099 had Weiss 'scanned and recharged,' as he was on a hologram-like computer. "It's actually pretty primal," 2099 said, not looking away from the computer with his outfit still on. "I was worried, L.A.Y.L.A wouldn't be able to do much with you being from another dimension, but your dimension just uses some old fabric about 2020 based. And the aura and semblance stuff are pretty similar to the X-gene. So, L.A.Y.L.A was able to help restore energy. I think I'm more impressed than you are."
Weiss looked questioningly as she looked at the machine and herself. "Layla?"
"Oh," 2099 said. "Sorry I didn't introduce you. Hey, L.A.Y.L.A! She wants to meet you."
Suddenly, in front of Weiss, a hologram of a woman in a sleeveless flowing long white dress. She had long curly flowing hair. Weiss was surprised at the woman; she looked very elegant.
"This is L.A.Y.L.A: LYrate Lifeform Approximation."
"Pleasure, Ms. Schnee. Miguel has also placed me in your service. If you request me, just call me."
Weiss nodded. "This… a bit more advanced than Atlas."
"Well, For my time period, I'm rather ordinary. But to you and your dimension, I'm beyond cutting edge," L.A. said proudly.
2099 chuckled as Weiss looked a bit perplexed. "I love the boast, but L.A. can with the information I snagged."
.LA nodded and vanished, leaving Weiss confused as she walked over to 2099, who went back to swiping on the screen. "Are all A.I.'s like that?" Weiss questioned.
"Not really," 2099 responded as continued swiping. "She had a virus once. She went all over the place. I got a friend to fix her, but my friend's got a funny personality. If you love me, you love her." Weiss scoffed. "Anyway, she gave her a bit of a lovely personality." Suddenly a block logo appeared on the screen. 2099 sighed. "So, she can be a bit sensitive, curious, and sassy. .LA, please." The block disappeared, and more information popped. "Well, Hobby got arrested, that helps, but it doesn't help."
Weiss looked confused. "Why? Isn't that good?"
"Oh, yeah, that's great," 2099 generally. "That helps to know that Alchemax might have something."
"Might?"
"Yeah, that's why it's not helpful; the Public Eye is police and might be doing it because of Alchemax. He did attack them."
Weiss hummed as she looked at the screen. "It says the Hobgoblin took this, and the Public Eye is after him like we figured out before."
"Right?" 2099 questioned but also agreeing as he looked at her.
"But if it was Alchemax doing this, they wouldn't go public about the monster. They only excluded us helping them, and he was made from Alchemax parts. So…"
2099 snapped his fingers. "It's not exactly Alchemax but someone who works for Alchemax. They get the monster that stole from them but keeps that they had their technology." Weiss nodded proudly. "We make a good team, don't we?"
Weiss's face fell, but she quickly recovered to a sincere face, slightly confusing 2099. "I can be…difficult, and… your world is just as much trouble just much as mine, and I want to help. I can deal with you. Can you deal with me?"
"Of course," 2099 said, almost instantly surprising Weiss. "Look, this future is pretty complicated. I've teamed up with a lot of complicated people. As long as I protect this place, I'm okay with complicated." 2099 them held out his hand. Weis hesitated but gave a small smile and shook his hand. "Now!" he exclaimed. "Back to the future."
Weiss sighed but still had a small smile. "I prefer the strange present," Weiss muttered as she and 2099 began to look at the computer.
Yang blinked open her eyes. There she was, falling down into a city from another dimension and here without her sunglasses, maybe she should keep some around like Coco does. It didn't matter, right. She needed to land, and it doesn't look like the place for a girl to shoot in the street after falling from the sky. She needed to go to a more outward area. Yang readied Ember Celica as they changed into her gauntlet. She fired shots behind her, and she flew through the air out of the city. It was just like entry day at Beacon; that was fun. She fired another shot and flew faster as she flipped. Yang's smiled got bigger. She always had fun doing crazy stuff. I guess this dimension was under her doing crazy things.
"WAHOOOOOO!" she shouted. This would be a little more fun if it wasn't for the whole "dimension would shatter if you don't get the tablet" dilemma. Yang looked down to notice a clear area a bit grassy, but it was out of the city. Yang fired two lighter shots toward the ground to soften her landing. She landed roughly to the ground, landing on her knees. Yang stood up as she shook her head, causing her hair to whip about.
""Alright, it found me."
"That voice," Yang thought as she quickly turned around. There he was. He wore the black suit that she still found to be sexy, the Ultimate Spiderman. The suit was completely black though it did look a little purple at the same time and had a large white spider design on the chest area, slightly larger all-white eyepieces.
Ultimate lowered his stance, looking a bit confused. Yang plastered a huge grin on her face as she then gave a single wave to him. "Hellooo," she said almost in a sing-song way.
"Uhm," Ultimate muttered, confused.
Yang placed her hands on her hip as she smirked. "Cat got your tongue?" she teased.
"Nope," Ultimate retorted. "That's Felica's job."
Yang's smirked widened as she chuckled. "Oh, HE is going to be a lot of fun."
