And I'm thrilled to say this story now has over 350 Followers and Favorites! Thank you all for your support! I'd also like to thank Chris Ketchum and kival737101 for giving me ideas for scenes in this chapter. Managed to get done just before the new year. Thank you all for your patience and I hope this is worth the wait. Please Review and Enjoy.
After separating from everyone, we see Ragnar, Toothless, and Bloom watching as Sky tries to fix the bike that got damaged in the escape.
"It's useless. The Space Spider is a wreck." Sky groans.
"So what do we do now?" Bloom asks.
"There's no way we can all fit on Toothless." Ragnar points out.
"As things stand, we don't have much of a choice. We've got to head back towards Magix and hope to find some help. I don't know." Sky admits unsure of this plan. "Well, at least we got rid of those creatures," Sky said as they continued on foot.
Meanwhile, at Alfea, we see the Fairies, Specialists, and Dragons resting after fighting off the first wave of monsters.
"We might've won this battle, but I'm afraid the next attack will be much more violent," Faragonda said.
"And we still haven't heard anything from the kids at Cloud Tower," Saladin adds.
"I can't believe this is happening. What will become of Magix?" Codatorta asks concerned.
"Now is not the time to ask these kinds of questions. Let's focus on the task at hand. We must find a way to respond more quickly and efficiently to their assaults." Faragonda urged.
"Having the dragons and their heightened senses has been helpful. Perhaps we can use a few as scouts." Saladin suggests.
"We cannot lose this war. It would be tragic." Codatorta states when Flora, Tecna, and Musa ran to them.
"Miss Faragonda! Miss Faragonda! We've detected a temporal distortion!" Flora calls out.
"Over there, by the wall!" Musa points.
"Oh thank goodness, the kids are back." Faragonda smiles as Stella, Griffin, Knut, Brandon, Riven and the witches appear. "And Griffin and her students are with them. This is very good news."
Walking forward both Headmistresses meet in the middle.
"Welcome to Alfea, Griffin. I see that your students have followed you." Faragonda remarks.
"Yes, but it is thanks to your students that we were able to escape from the clutches of those three power-crazed witches." Griffin smiles.
"Well, you're here now. You can fill me in on the details later. Meanwhile, we'll do all we can to help you." Faragonda urged as Griffin looked at their forces.
"Seems to me that you're also in need of help." Griffin points out.
"Yes, and it seems to me that I've just found the person who can help us," Faragonda said happy for the help.
"Look everyone, they're back!" A fairy points as Stormfly runs towards Brandon and affectionately nuzzles him.
"Hey girl, I missed you too." Brandon smiled as some specialists greeted him.
Glancing around, Riven noticed Hookfang among the other dragons. Turning his head, the two looked each other in the eyes but neither one made a move. Riven wasn't sure if he could earn Hookfang's trust just yet.
As Mirta peeked her head out, she saw her former headmistress and classmates gathered together. Unsure how they would react to her she decided to stay inside for the time being. But she did notice one more detail. 'Wait, where's Rangar?'
"Stella, where's Bloom?" Flora asks as the Winx approaches her.
"And Ragnar?" Musa asks.
"We don't know what happened to them or Sky. The last time we saw them was at Cloud Tower. They were trying to hold the monsters at bay so we could all get away." Stella admits worried sick.
Little did they know a figure was listening in on this.
Taking out a phone he dialed a number.
"Sir, I have updates. Ragnar and his dragon are separated from the group. They're not here." He said.
"I see. Keep me posted on any activity. I'll deal with those two myself and remember to wait until I give the order." Drago's voice said on the other line.
Slowly putting away the phone, Red Fountain had a spy amongst them, but no one knew.
As everyone went inside, we saw Sleuther looking out in the distance worried about Ragnar.
Hearing a soft roar, Sleuther saw Sneaky approach him.
The two dragons exchange a small glance thinking the same thing.
Meanwhile, in the forest Sky, Bloom, Ragnar, and Toothless were trekking towards Magix.
"Are you sure this is the shortest way to Magix?" Bloom asks.
"It's the safest. The Black-Mud Swamp will provide good cover." Bloom said curious.
"One problem at a time Bloom," Ragnar suggests.
"Guys…I'm scared." Bloom said coming to a stop. "I can't go on. Without powers, I feel like a burden."
"Trust me, Bloom. You're not a burden. For almost 2 years I felt like a burden to my whole team. It was the worst." Ragnar assures.
"But you've lived most of your life not knowing you had special powers, Bloom." Sky reminds.
"And that's exactly why. You know, I used to think that the people I grew up with were my real parents. Then I find out it's not true. So I begin a new life. Then suddenly, my powers are snatched away from me." Bloom said sitting down on a rock.
Seeing his sister was going through some stuff, Ragnar sat down next to her.
"You know, even though I knew I was adopted my life was hard too. When I unlocked my powers for the first time, it was like a second chance. I know it's hard, but take it from me, Bloom, when feel like you're the worst and at rock bottom, the only place left for you to go is up." Ragnar assures making her smile.
"He's right Bloom, even without your magic, you're still you." Sky agrees.
"Besides, you're not completely helpless." Ragnar hints showing she still had Inferno.
"What should I do now?" Bloom asks.
"You get up and come with me to Magix. I'm sure we'll find someone there who'll give us a hand." Sky suggests.
Pausing Bloom glanced at Ragnar. "You helped me with my magic, it's only right that I help you."
Smiling Bloom got up and they continued walking towards Magix.
As they neared the outskirts of the city, Toothless came to a stop.
Ears perking up, Toothless looked around.
"What's wrong, bud? Hear something?" Ragnar asks.
Cautious everyone looks around but doesn't see anything.
"I didn't hear anything," Bloom said.
"It must have been an animal of some sort." Sky assumes.
"Is it coming closer?" Ragnar asks alarmed.
Looking around, Toothless scanned the surroundings but nothing seemed to move.
"Come on let's go." Sky urged.
Narrowing his eyes suspiciously they kept moving unaware that from atop a hill, Drago with a squad of dragon hunters on the backs of armored dragons and 4 Speed Stingers at his sides.
"There they are." Drago grins spying on them. "Wait until I give the orders but remember I need the Night Fury alive for this to work."
"What about the others?" A hunter asks.
"I think it's time I had one last talk with my apprentice," Drago said eyeing Toothless like a hunter stalking his prey.
At Cloud Tower, the Trix were watching the damage outside.
"Those weaklings have managed to slip out of the monsters' grasp and seek refuge among the fairies at Alfea Castle." Icy observes.
"I don't see Bloom or her brother with them." Darcy noticed.
"Why should you care about Bloom, Darcy? It's not as if she can hurt us now." Icy said.
"You forgetting what she did to you?" Darcy mocks pointing to the bandaged shoulder.
"She surprised me, nothing more. She's powerless and the other twin is still a weakling even with magic." Icy defends.
"I think the time has come to focus on the conquest of Alfea," Stormy suggests.
"We'll rally the most powerful army ever. Alfea will shake under its might." Icy declares.
Outside their army of dark creatures was on the move with their sights set on Alfea.
Meanwhile, in an unknown location, several Ex-Specialists were putting armor on their dragons.
As all of Drago's men prepared themselves, they were on standby waiting for orders.
"All the dragons are accounted for." One commander said.
"Word is all of the ones at Red Fountain fled with them." Another said.
"Meaning they'll all be in one place." The first nodded when they heard a loud rumbling roar from underneath their feet. "What the hell was that?"
"Boss wants the big one ready for battle." One states as they looked behind the camp.
Past all the cages and tents, we see a giant hole in the ground, and in it is a pair of glowing red eyes.
At Alfea, Faragonda was in her office with Griffin, Saladin, and Codatorta around her desk.
"Griffin, we all know that the power these girls possess doesn't correspond in any way to what you've been teaching at Cloud Tower. What worries me now is what's become of Bloom."
"And of Prince Sky. He is, by far, my best student. And the fact that he's disappeared without a trace makes me fear the worst." Codatorta adds.
"Don't forget Ragnar. I worry for that boy." Saladin said.
"Still, we mustn't forget he and Bloom both have extraordinary powers," Codatorta adds.
"Yes, but they've been stolen from her." Faragonda reminds.
"We all know what came of that. And yet I don't think Icy, Darcy, and Stormy are satisfied. I'm afraid their next move will be absolutely ferocious." Griffin states they hear a pounding at the door.
Turning their attention, they see a specialist with short blonde hair storm in. This was Arios.
"Sir emergency!" He calls out.
"Young man, this is a private meeting." Griffin glares.
"It's fine Griffin. This is Arios, he's my assistant." Saladin assures.
"Yes." Arios twitched annoyed by that. "Sir our scouts have reported the dark army is on its way! Look out the window!"
Alarmed they look outside to see the army approaching Alfea.
"They're coming!" Saladin gasped as several creatures swopped in from above.
Seeing the fight that was about to happen, Flora, Stella, and Musa transformed into their Winx forms.
Roaring in determination, all the dragons joined the battle.
Swinging her staff, Stella blasts a creature back only for Crystal to join in blasting a big hole through it.
As Flora created vines to tie the creatures down Lagoon sprays boiling water.
Taking to the sky, Musa and Tecna blast a large creature forcing it back before crumbling into insects.
Pooling together into separate piles, they formed smaller monsters to keep the fights going.
"This is not good." Stella cringed unsure how long they could keep this up for.
Meanwhile, in the forest, we see Ragnar, Bloom, Sky, and Toothless huddled around a fire.
"Maybe we should have kept going," Bloom suggests as Sky stoked the fire.
"Bloom, you need to sleep. I'm sure you'll feel better tomorrow morning. We've got a big day ahead of us." Sky suggests.
"We can't do any good if we're tired and Toothless needs rest," Ragnar said leaning against his dragon.
"You think we're safe here? I mean, the monsters could easily get us." Bloom asks worried.
"The witches have got the Dragon Flame, Bloom. That's all they ever really wanted. I don't think they care much about you now." Sky points out.
"But what if something else is out there?" Bloom asks.
"You think you can keep an eye out for dangers?" Ragnar asks and Toothless nods.
Closing their eyes, none of them knew about the upcoming danger.
Speaking of dangers, at Alfea. The next wave of monsters coming in.
"Good heavens! The power of those three witches is greater than I thought." Faragonda gasps.
Down below, Riven and Brandon were fighting against a dark creature but every time they slashed it, it regenerated.
"This army of worms is indestructible!" Riven said annoyed.
"Magic or no magic. Let's see what they'll do against this!" Switching from his sword to a javelin, Brandon leaps up and slashes the neck area allowing Riven to knock its head off.
"Way to go, Brandon! You got it!" Riven said.
"I'm not so sure," Brandon said as it began to reform.
Suddenly a roar echoed as Hookfang sets himself on fire and rams into the creature scattering the worms around.
"Whoa, cool move," Riven said glancing at his former dragon impressed.
Nearby, Kiko was looking for Sneaky when he saw a flying creature swoop in. Panicking the little rabbit dug a hole and jumped in narrowly avoiding it.
But that creature found a new target, swopping in it grabbed Tecna.
"What do you think you're doing?" Tecna growls when Windshear flies in and rams into it. Using this chance, Tecna activated her wings and cut its legs off. "Take that, you slime bucket!"
Down below, Codatorta was facing a dark monster.
"Come on, you filthy beast! Let's see what you can do." Codatorta taunts.
Taking the challenge, the beast grabs him by the neck with its claws attempting to crush him.
Seeing he was in trouble; Saladin raised his staff and blasted the creature to smithereens.
"Are you all right, professor?" Saladin asks.
"Yeah. I'm all right, but my pride isn't." Codatorta admits.
As Timmy fought, the flying creatures shrieked as they circled above battling some of the dragons in the air.
"That's it, I've had it! These flying stingrays are making me dizzy." Timmy said firing at them but none of his attacks seemed to faze them.
Screeching, the monster swooped in at him only for Meatlug to ram into it at the last second.
Roaring it was about to counter only Tecna to blast it.
"Pick on someone your own size, you slimy buzzards!" Tecna calls out.
A large number of them surrounded Faragonda and Griffin but these old ladies weren't going down so easily.
Combining their magic both floated into the air and created a bright light that blasted every flying creature out of the sky.
But as they fell Faragonda noticed them begin to reform.
"We can't win this way. We destroy them, and they come back to life!" Faragonda panics as more approaches.
This battle was proving to be exhausting and without end.
Back in the forest, we see the fire had died down and Ragnar, Toothless, Sky, and Bloom were sound asleep.
As Toothless slowly opened his eyes, the dragon heard a noise approaching.
Slowly standing up, Toothless braced himself for dangers when suddenly a net shot out wrapping around Bloom and Sky waking them and startling them.
"What the?!" Sky said as Ragnar woke up.
"Ragnar help!" Bloom yells.
As another net flew in, Ragnar blew fire and burned it to ash.
Toothless was about to help when Speed stingers, and Dragon Hunters atop a Grapple Grounder, and Thornridge surround Toothless.
Roaring Toothless fired plasma but the Grapple Grounder wraps its body around Toothless allowing the Speed Stingers to jab at Toothless making him scream in pain.
"Toothless!" Gasping Ragnar runs to help only for a Hunter on a Hobblegrunt to block his path.
"Get lost. That thing is coming with us." He snaps drawing a spear.
"Out of my way!" Ragnar roars drawing his sword and charging in.
As the hunter threw the spear, Ragnar slashed it away before flames coated his fists.
Roaring the Hobblegrunt lunged at him but at the last second Ragnar ducked under and delivered a flaming uppercut to the dragon's chin knocking it back and the Hunter to the ground.
"You were saying?!" Ragnar snaps when a familiar laughter echoes nearby.
Turning around Ragnar and Toothless turn to see Drago on a Whispering Death approach them.
"I see you have some fight in you after all," Drago smirks.
Roaring in anger, Toothless swats a Speed Stinger off him and fires a blast at Drago.
Smirking Drago jumps off as the blast hits his Whispering Death hitting it dead center and knocking it to the ground unconscious.
"You put a lot of power into that one. You want me dead." Drago mocks as Toothless is eager to rip him to shreds.
Lunging at him, the other Hunters threw nets and bolas around Toothless to restrain him as the two Speed Stingers stung him making Toothless howl in pain.
Panicking Ragnar knocks one away as he stands alongside his dragon.
"Leave my dragon alone!" Ragnar said breathing fire and forcing them to pull back but Toothless dropped to his knees feeling the venom kick in.
"Stand down Ragnar," Drago calls out.
"Back off." Ragnar spat pointing his sword at him.
"Arguing with your master now?" Drago glares getting Toothless' attention.
"You're not my Master. You were just using me to try to get you dragons. And I know it's you rounding up Ex Specialists for your little group." Ragnar accuses surprising Drago for a second before he chuckles.
"Well, I'll give you credit for figuring out part of my plan, but you missed a few details. I couldn't care less about these other dragons. My real target is the Night Fury." Drago declares.
"Toothless will never be your dragon," Ragnar said but Drago just laughed.
"I don't want him to be my Alpha. I already have my own. I want to kill the dragon that ruined everything for me. That's why I sent them all to this world in the first place!" Drago declares surprising everyone.
"Wait he sent the dragons here?" Bloom asks.
"Who are you?" Ragnar asks.
"My name is Drago Bludvist and I was the greatest warlord to ever live with an army dragon under my rule, but when I crossed with that Night Fury, I was defeated by him and his first rider. So I changed my approach, instead of going for the dragon I went for the rider first." Drago said turning his gaze from Toothless to Ragnar.
"It was Toothless the whole time. You didn't care about the other dragons, you just wanted him." Ragnar realized.
"He who controls the Alpha controls all the dragons," Drago said pulling his dragon spear from his back.
"You can't win. Toothless is the toughest dragon I know. You'll never beat him." Ragnar mocks.
"Wrong again, I found a dragon whose hatred for the Night Fury rivals my own. Once my Alpha kills him, I will control all the dragons and with my army, I will destroy everyone who stands in my way. Starting with what's left of your schools." Drago declares.
Eyes widening everyone realized all of them realized that everyone: Specialists, Fairies, and even Witches were all gathered in one place.
"You! You're how the Trix got their hands on Dragons!" Bloom accuses.
"A necessary distraction. You were all so focused on them, that I was able to set my plans in motion virtually unopposed." Drago grins.
Swinging his sword, Ragnar slashes at him but Drago blocks it.
"You think you can defeat me?" Drago glares.
"Your plan can't work if I stop you right here," Ragnar growls pushing back.
Taking a deep breath, Ragnar breathes fire forcing Drago to pull his cloak forward to deflect the attack.
Flames surround Ragnar's right hand as he swings a hook punch but Drago dodges and nails Ragnar in the gut knocking the air out of him.
"I've fought against some of the greatest warriors in my world and I've been watching you since I bothered to waste my time on you," Drago said elbowing Ragnar in the back knocking him to the ground.
Groaning, Ragnar got to his knees.
"Look at that, you're bowing to me already." Drago mocks.
With flames surrounding him, Ragnar activates his wings lunges forward and rams headfirst into Drago's stomach making him cringe.
Growling annoyed, Drago sees Ragnar floating above him.
"I see my lessons have encouraged you to learn some new tricks," Drago said.
"You didn't teach me anything. I learned this all on my own." Ragnar said swooping in.
Roaring, Drago spins his spear and slams it down. Understanding his order, the Thornridge rammed into Ragnar knocking him to the ground.
"You were so desperate and pathetic when I found you, you fell right into my hands. You would be nothing without me." Drago states.
Mustering up whatever strength he could Toothless fires a plasma bolt at Drago but Drago dodges and the last Speed Stinger nails him making Toothless freeze up immobilized.
"Sir we got it." The Hunters said restraining Toothless.
"No!" Ragnar said trying to get up but Drago whacked him away knocking his sword out of his hands.
"You've done good work apprentice, but you've outlived your usefulness." Drago declares with an evil grin.
Thrusting his spear forward, he was about to impale him.
"Ragnar look out!" Bloom yells Ragnar moves his hands up defensively and an orange light shines blinding Drago causing him to move upwards and slashes Ragnar along the right side of his neck making him fall to the ground in pain.
When the light dies down, Drago shakes off the effects to see Ragnar on the ground holding his neck trying to stop the bleeding.
Turning to Toothless, Drago saw his real target was prepped and ready for transport.
"Move out, we have what we want." Drago orders.
"Yes Lord Drago!" The Hunters said as they took off with Toothless as their prisoner to who knows where.
"Ragnar!" Breaking free of the net, Bloom and Sky ran to him.
Ripping off some of her sleeves, Bloom ties it around his neck to stop the bleeding.
"Ragnar, buddy say something." Sky pleads worried.
"They took him…they took Toothless and I couldn't stop them." Ragnar groans in pain.
"Stay still, give the bleeding a chance to die down." Sky advises.
Things were turning from bad to worse. Bloom had no powers and now Ragnar had no dragon.
Bloom was about to comfort her brother when she suddenly heard that noise again.
'That noise…it's like it's calling to me.' Bloom thought.
Back at Alfea, the fighting had briefly stopped allowing everyone to rest and collect their thoughts.
In her office, Faragonda was talking to the others.
"It's been almost an hour since their last assault." Faragonda points out.
"I hate to say this, but I have a strong feeling that they're playing with us, right now," Griffin admits.
"With each attack, they get stronger and more numerous," Saladin warns.
"The only way out of this mess is to eliminate the root cause of it all," Griffin advises.
"In other words, confront the Trix directly." Faragonda translates.
"It doesn't bode well for my boys." Codatorta frowns worried how much longer the Specialists would last.
Outside in the courtyard, we see Musa sitting down near the wall.
"Hey, got a minute?" Looking up, Musa saw Stella approach her.
"Sure," Musa said as Stella sat next to her.
"Do you think we'll be able to resist the next attack?" Stella asks.
"I honestly don't know. Every time we take one down more show up." Musa admits.
"I'm scared," Stella admits.
"Yeah, the Trix are just the worst for doing all this." Musa assumes.
"Not that, I'm scared that we might not see Ragnar again," Stella admits getting her attention.
"I wish I knew if he was okay or not," Musa admits.
"Yeah me too," Stella said before taking a deep breath. "Musa, do you love Ragnar?"
"I really do, when I was at my lowest, he lifted me. Whenever I'm with him I feel this warmth that makes me feel safe. Not to mention he's so kind and kinda cute when he pulls off something amazing." Musa giggles along with Stella.
"Right? And when he shows that confidence don't you wish he would be that way around you?" Stella adds.
"More than anything," Musa said before frowning. "I was crushed when he said he couldn't pick one of us. He valued our team's cooperation more than his own happiness."
"Not many boys would make that choice. He knew if we were constantly fighting over him then our friends could get hurt or worse. But Musa, I saw him after he made that choice." Stella confesses.
"Huh?" Musa asks curious.
"He was talking to Saladin and Toothless. He couldn't decide which girl he liked and it hurt him inside. He loves us both. As much I want to keep a guy like Ragnar all to myself I don't think I can." Stella said.
"What are you suggesting?" Musa asks.
"Be honest, if you had the chance to be Ragnar's girlfriend would you take it?" Stella asks and Musa nods her head. "Me too, so maybe there's a better way. So none of us get hurt, especially Ragnar."
"I'm listening," Musa said.
"There you both are." Looking up they saw Brandon, Riven, Timmy, Flora, and Tecna approach them.
"What's going on?" Stella asks.
"Faragonda wants to talk to us," Timmy informs.
Soon all the students from all 3 schools were gathered together and the dragons were in the back.
"Any minute now we'll have to face another attack. The only way we'll be able to resist, this time, is by combining our powers." Faragonda informs.
"Keep in mind that the Trix are driven by hatred. They have no idea what the power of unity can achieve." Griffin adds when a loud screech fills the sky.
Turning around they saw the entire army approaching and it was far more than the little waves they had been dealing with.
"I can't believe my eyes. There are thousands of them!" Stella gasps in horror.
In the forest, Bloom, Sky, and Ragnar were recovering from Drago's attack and moving towards Magix when Bloom noticed something.
"Good heavens! Look!" Bloom points to the sky and they see the dark army flying past them. "They're headed for Alfea!"
"We've got to get to Magix, and fast!" Sky urges.
"I can't go to Magix. First, I've got to go to Lake Roccaluce." Bloom insists.
"What are you talking about, Bloom?" Sky asks but Ragnar realizes something.
"It's about our family, isn't it?" Ragnar asks and Bloom nods.
"I've got to do it. Something to do with Daphne and us, my birth parents, my past, and my powers." Bloom explains.
"Well then, I'm coming with you," Sky said but Bloom shook her head.
"No, Sky. I must go alone. You and Ragnar go on to Magix." Bloom urged.
"As you wish. But if I don't see you in two hours, I'm going to come look for you." Sky points out.
Nodding Bloom ran off.
As Ragnar watched his sister leave, he was impressed with her determination. Despite everything going on she knew that she had to do this. And he had to do something too.
"I guess we better head to Magix," Sky said looking at Ragnar.
"No. You go, I'm going after Toothless." Ragnar declares surprising him.
"What? Ragnar, you barely survived them." Sky said in a worried tone.
"I have to do this, if they kill Toothless, they'll destroy everyone. We can't fight an army of dark creatures and an army of dragons." Ragnar justifies.
"Ragnar, at least let me help you." Sky urged.
"No, you need to get back to Magix. They need you and so does Bloom." Ragnar shook his head.
"But what about you?" Sky asks.
"I made the mistake of trusting Drago. It's time I stepped up and put a stop to him." Ragnar declares.
"You two, really are siblings." Sky smirks. "I saw them take Toothless in that direction. I hope you can catch up with them." Sky said pointing away from them.
Nodding Ragnar strapped his sword to his back and ran off.
'Hang on Toothless.' Ragnar thought determined to save his friend.
Back at Alfea, the 3 Schools were clashing against the giant army.
While the students fought, we saw Faragonda and Griffin working together.
Raising their arms, both headmistresses created a magic barrier around the school.
"Citizens of Alfea, the time has come, let us unite and combine our powers!" Faragonda calls out.
"Students of Cloud Tower, let us reveal the might of our magic!" Griffin calls out.
As all the fairies and witches channeled their power into the barrier a bright light was released destroying all dark creatures completely.
When the barrier was gone, no creatures could be seen.
Smiling all the students cheered with joy.
Little did they know a Terrible Terror noticed something on the outskirts.
Narrowing its eyes, the dragon gasped seeing what was coming but before it could warn anyone a sword stabbed it, killing the poor dragon.
Zooming out, we see Arios was the attacker.
"Master Drago, the battles are taking their toll on everyone. They're growing weaker with each battle." Arios said into a phone.
"Good, the final preparations are underway. Have the army ready. We can't have anyone interfering when the Alphas clash." Drago orders.
"As you wish sir," Arios said with an evil grin.
They stopped one danger but another was closing in.
At Cloud Tower, the Trix saw this attempt and were enraged.
"All right, that's enough. I've had it!" Icy snaps.
"I'm tired of watching and not doing anything." Stormy agrees.
"Sisters, nothing can stop us now. What are we waiting for? Let's use the power of the Dragon Flame." Darcy suggests.
"If this is what it takes to crush Alfea, so be it. And now, it's time to take command of our army. I want to see with my own eyes, the extermination of those cutesy little fairies!" Icy declares as all 3 witches cackled ready for battle.
As Sky enters Magix, he looks around to see the streets see no one is around.
"No, it's not possible. Is anybody there?" Sky calls out but nobody answers. The city was empty of people.
At Alfea, we see that the attacks have stopped giving everyone a chance to rest.
In their room, Stella was looking out the balcony window while the others were standing around Mirta.
"Alfea has suffered serious damage. The Trix are getting more and more aggressive. And I miss Bloom and Ragnar. How will it all end? I hope the two of them and Sky are all right." Stella said tearing up worried.
"Flora you don't need to worry about me at the moment. You should be conserving your magic for the next attack." Mirta advises.
"No, I'm fine really. I just…" Flora pauses.
Seeing she was a little stuck Tecna looked to Musa to try and help.
"Flora, you're not giving up on Mirta, are you?" Musa encourages.
"No of course not," Flora assures.
"There's got to be a way to break this spell," Tecna said.
"Your magic is strong but maybe you need a different approach to it," Musa said.
Curious, Flora walked up to Mirta and grabbed her hands.
Concentrating on her magic, Flora had the energy flow from both her hands and pour into Mirta causing her to glow.
In the past Flora had only tried one area at a time, this time she was gonna tackle all of it at once. As her magic lit up the entire room, all the Winx gasped shielding their vision.
When the light died down Mirta had returned to normal. Not a single element of pumpkin on her.
"I-I'm me again." Mirta smiles much to Flora's joy.
"Mirta! We did it!" Flora smiles hugging her.
"That was the key, Flora. You see. You had to let your energy flow through both of your hands." Mirta summarizes.
"How could I've ever thought that the Trix's magic could be stronger than my desire to help you?" Flora smiles.
"Man, it feels good to not be orange any more." Mirta smiles.
"Wait until Bloom and Ragnar hear about this." Stella smiles.
It was a small victory, but now that Mirta was back to normal they could focus entirely on the big battle yet to come.
Just outside the window, we see Riven and Brandon approach Timmy, Stormfly, Meatlug, Skullcrusher, and Hookfang.
"Uh hey guys," Riven said as everyone looked at him.
"Riven." Timmy acknowledges.
Glancing at him, Brandon nudged Riven signaling something.
"Uh listen…I uh wanted to say I-I'm sorry for everything." Riven apologizes surprising them. "I shouldn't have turned my back on you guys for Darcy. You all tried to warn me about her but I was too stubborn to listen. You guys were my team and I turned back on you. I don't expect any of you to forgive me right away but I hope if we survive this, you'll consider it."
"Wow, that's quite an apology," Timmy said surprised.
"He's serious. He ate a fish Toothless spit up just to earn Ragnar and Sky's trust." Brandon snickers making Timmy laugh.
"You're kidding?" Timmy smiles in disbelief.
"I wish. I can still taste that disgusting thing." Riven cringed.
Curious Hookfang sniffs Riven close causing everyone to hold their breath.
Once he caught a whiff of the fish, Hookfang turned to his former rider.
"I'm sorry, I hope you can forgive me too." Riven apologizes holding out his hand.
At first, Hookfang hesitated but instead nuzzled against him.
"Thanks, buddy." Riven smiles.
"The dragon has spoken." Brandon declares that Riven is back on his original team.
Meanwhile, at Lake Roccaluce, Bloom removes her riding outfit to reveal her casual clothes.
Entering the lake, Bloom treads through the water hoping to find clues.
Underwater, as if responding to her, rocks that were originally blocking something magically moved out of the way revealing a secret passageway.
As a glow radiated from inside hundreds of bubbles emerged drawing Bloom in.
Closing her eyes, Bloom feels a powerful magic surrounding her and when she opens them she is underwater.
"Bloom," Daphne calls out appearing in front of her.
"Daphne, am I dreaming?" Bloom asks in disbelief.
"No, Bloom. You're not dreaming. Come with me, little sister. You haven't lost your powers, Bloom. Look over there." Daphne gestures and she sees a memory of her old life. Everything that led to her coming to Alfea.
"That's my parents' house. I mean my adoptive parents' house." Bloom corrects.
"Yes. You were brought up on Earth by two caring and understanding people, who loved you well enough to let you go when the time came." Daphne states.
"And I let them down. Same at Alfea. I didn't meet anyone's expectations. I don't belong anywhere." Bloom said regretfully.
"Bloom, you still are who you were. And your past will forever belong to you. Just like your power. Just like your power." Daphne assures.
"So, what happened?" Bloom asks.
"Nothing that doesn't happen to us all. You had doubts. You were afraid. You came to believe that what you loved most dearly could be taken away from you. But the truth is no one in the whole universe could ever steal your past, your dreams, or your magic powers. The witches do not own them. They are yours to keep forever. Bloom, to recover your powers, look deep inside yourself." Daphne explains.
Raising her arms, a light engulfs Daphne making her disappear and leaving Bloom all alone.
"Daphne? Daphne?" Bloom calls out but her sister isn't there.
Closing her eyes Bloom thought about what Daphne said. If her powers were hers forever then that means she can still harness them.
Tightening her fist, Bloom concentrated as hard as she could.
She had to overcome her doubts and fears. The Trix needed to be stopped and she had to be the one to do it.
'My friends, Sky, and Ragnar, they need my help!' Bloom declares that an orange aura surrounds her and a bright light shoots out of the lake.
Flying out, we see Bloom got her fairy form back and she was eager to put it to good use.
Exiting the forest, we see Ragnar enter a vast mountain range.
"They could be anywhere in these mountains," Ragnar said activating his wings.
Flying through the area he tried to look for any clues of their whereabouts.
If they were going towards the other dragons and Alfea there was one path he knew about.
Suddenly a powerful gust of wind blew through causing him to briefly lose control.
Cringing Ragnar struggled to maintain control.
Briefly deactivating the thruster, Ragnar attempted to glide through but the wind changed direction resulting in him banging against some rocks and tumbling onto a ledge.
Groaning, Ragnar looked up to see the wind had knocked him at the base of a large rock wall.
'If I try using my wings I'll get blown around like a ragdoll.' Ragnar cringed.
Grabbing the rocks, Ragnar attempted to climb up the wall but the harsh winds made it a struggle as small chunks of rocks hit him repeatedly.
As he was about halfway up, Ragnar grabbed a loose rock causing him to lose his balance and fall.
Screaming Ragnar crashes down on the ledge damaging his thruster.
"Ugh dammit! Now I'll never catch them!" Ragnar snaps.
Punching the wall in frustration, Ragnar drops to his knees.
Drago was gonna kill Toothless and then he would use the dragons to wipe out everyone at Alfea alongside the Trix: Fairies, Specialists, Witches, his friends, Bloom, and the Winx all of them were in danger and there was nothing he could do to help.
"I'm sorry Toothless…you picked the wrong rider." Ragnar chokes unaware of a glow radiating behind him.
"Are you just going to give up? Because I don't recall my little brother ever being a quitter," Getting up, Ragnar gasps to see Daphne standing behind him.
"Daphne," Ragnar said as she approached him and noticed the bandaged wound around his neck.
"Who did this to you?" Daphne asks and Ragnar hangs his head in regret.
"The man I believed could help make me stronger, but was just a liar," Ragnar said. "I'm such an idiot."
"No, you're not. You're hurt, and worried, it's natural to doubt yourself." Daphne assures.
"Daphne before I met Toothless that's all I had was doubts. Doubts that I would pass my Specialist training, doubts that Riven would ever stop picking on me, doubts that some of the prettiest girls in the world could ever be interested in someone like me. I was so desperate and tired of being all this." Ragnar said gesturing to himself. "That I let a warlord turn me into his errand boy thinking I would become stronger and I ended up losing one of my closest friends."
"But Ragnar you did." Daphne declares surprising him. "Look at yourself, Ragnar. You are far more than what you have become. Drago might have made you his pawn and Toothless might have helped you grow, but you came up with your way of doing things. You conquered Saladin's wall and became a Specialist when no one believed you could do it, you mastered your magic, and you stood up to Riven and put him in his place. Sure, you had help but, in the end, you got this far because you wanted to."
Eyes widening, Ragnar remembered all of them. Yes, they were difficult but, in the end, he did do all those things.
"Your friends are in trouble, you're all alone, and your former master is about to execute your dragon, what are you going to do about it?" Daphne asks.
Tightening his fist, Ragnar looked to the wall determined.
"I'm gonna kick his ass." Drawing two daggers, Ragnar stabs them into the wall and uses them to climb upwards.
Watching him, Daphne smiles seeing the same Ragnar who conquered Saladin's wall.
"Good luck," Daphne said before disappearing.
As the wind blew hard and the rubble kept coming Ragnar growled in frustration.
He was on a mission and he was not gonna be stopped. Reaching out, Ragnar grabbed the top rock and pulled himself up over the wall.
Catching his breath, Ragnar looks up and sees a large path through the mountains, one big enough for an entire army to pass through.
On the ground in front of him, Ragnar saw a familiar black scale.
Bending down to pick it up, Ragnar knew it was a Night Fury Scale. He was on the right track.
He was about to figure out his next move when a shadow flew past him.
"Huh?" Looking up, Ragnar saw Sleuther land across from him.
Roaring the dragon was happy to see him.
"Sleuther?!" Ragnar smiles seeing the familiar face. "What are you doing here? How did you find me?" Ragnar asks in disbelief when hears a soft growl.
Turning around Ragnar saw Sneaky appear on his shoulder making him smile widely.
"I'm not even gonna question this. I'm just really glad you two are here." Ragnar said as Sleuther walked over. "Toothless has been captured, we need to catch up with an army. You guys with me?"
Roaring Sleuther bent down allowing Ragnar to get on.
"Hold on tight Sneaky," Ragnar said taking off into the sky eager to save Toothless and stop Drago.
In Magix, we see Sky wandering through the city looking for any sign of people.
"Hello! Is anybody here?!" Sky calls out.
Making his way down a street, Sky gasps in horror to see several people encased in strange cocoons made from the same substance the dark army creatures were made from.
"What have they done?" Sky asks horrified.
Suddenly a dark creature came up behind him.
Hearing its footsteps, Sky jumps back and draws his sword.
Quickly glancing around, he made sure there weren't others hiding nearby. Luckily, this was the only one.
As the creature swung its claws at him, Sky dodges and counterattacks.
Blocking the strike, the creature knocks Sky's sword out of his hands.
Seeing another attack was coming Sky ducked and rolled allowing him to pick it up.
"Come on. I'm not afraid of you!" Sky taunts.
Taking the challenge, the creature summoned more of its little friends which allowed it to grow to gigantic size.
Growling Sky took a stance. This would not be an easy fight.
Little did Sky know the worst was yet to come.
From Cloud Tower, the Trix had assembled their army and were making their way to Alfea.
While maneuvering through the mountains, Drago caught up with his army of Dragon Trappers.
"Keep moving, I want everyone ready by the time the Night Fury dies." Drago declares as a paralyzed and trapped Toothless dangled from a net as he was being brought to his doom.
The only question is what did Drago have in store for him?
At Alfea, Mirta was walking alongside the Winx.
"You know the Trix better than we do, Mirta. What do you think they'll do next?" Flora asks.
"Your guess is as good as mine. I've never seen them so full of hate and so powerful." Mirat admits.
"I think a facial and a manicure would help them relax." Stella jokes.
"Must you always be joking, Stella?" Tecna asks annoyed.
"What do you want me to do? When I'm serious, I think of Bloom and Ragnar and I go nuts." Stella said noticing a frowning Kiko alongside Pepe. "See? Even Kiko misses her."
"I'm sure Bloom, Ragnar, and Sky are okay. Perhaps they're having trouble getting back to Alfea. But I have a good feeling that we'll see them very soon." Musa assures.
"Hey, where's Ragnar's dragon? You know the little one. Sneaky?" Mirta asks.
"Ragnar didn't give him that name for nothing. I bet the little fella is hiding around here somewhere." Stella said.
Nearby, Faragonda and Griffin were keeping an eye on everyone.
"The children are beginning to show the effects of battle fatigue," Fargonda states in a worried tone.
"Who knows how much longer they'll last?" Griffin said equally worried.
At the Black Mud Swap, the dark army was marching towards Alfea with the Trix sitting on thrones the army had crafted for them while their dragons flew above them.
From a nearby lake, we see two Undine spirits watching the army with feared expressions.
"They're heading for Alfea." One gasped.
"The entire magic dimension is in jeopardy! We need to warn Alfea of their imminent arrival." The other Undine suggests.
"Well then, let's go!" The first said as they waited for the army to move past them before flying off towards Alfea.
At Alfea, the Specialists were resting from their exhausting fight while Saladin and Codatorta were playing a game.
"All this waiting around and doing nothing is driving me totally crazy," Codatorta admits.
"Mmm…it's important to remain calm. Now more than ever." Saladin said moving a piece.
"My move." Codatorta grins. "My patience is wearing very thin." Moving his pieces Codatorta's black pieces took the last of Saladin's white pieces winning him the game.
"But not so thin as to distract you, I see," Saladin said unamused.
"Another game?" Codatorta offers as Saladin stands up.
"I've yet to hear anything about Ragnar. I also noticed 2 dragons are missing." Saladin points out.
"Why would they leave?" Codatorta asks.
"I believe they went looking for Ragnar, Bloom, and Sky." Saladin theorizes.
"I hope for their sake they found them," Codatorta said.
"As do I," Saladin said as Riven, Timmy, and Brandon walked by.
"What could be taking them so long?" Riven asks.
"Maybe they're hiding somewhere." Timmy guesses.
"Think Sky and Ragnar are, okay?" Brandon asks.
"Oh, I'm sure they are. I bet they're waiting for the right moment to come back." Timmy said.
"Timmy's right. The Trix controls Magix. He's got to watch out." Riven adds.
"I know, but even so... maybe they're lying low somewhere in the dark forest. Biding their time until the dust settles." Brandon hopes as they approach the Winx and Mirta.
"Any news guys?" Musa asks.
"None at all, Musa," Riven answers.
"Everything has stopped. It's like everyone is waiting for the worst to happen" Timmy said.
"This dark sky makes me nervous," Flora said.
"It's been days since we saw the sunshine." Stella frowns looking up at the dark sky only for lightning to flash startling her.
"News from the Dark Forest! The nymphs are bringing us news!" A specialist calls out getting everyone's attention.
Emerging from inside, Faragonda greeted the undines.
"Welcome to Alfea. What brings you here?" Faragonda asks.
"It's Cloud Tower."
"The army is coming through the dark forest."
"They're headed this way."
"It's the most powerful army we've ever seen!"
"And Icy, Darcy, and Stormy are at the forefront." They finished.
"Go get some rest inside." Faragonda urged before facing the students. "All right, everybody! Let's get ready. Take up your positions! We won't be caught by surprise!" Faragonda orders.
Back in Magix, Sky was fighting for his life against the gigantic dark creature.
Raising its arm the creature changed it into a claw before bringing it down on Sky who blocks it with his sword.
He tried to hold his ground but the creature was persistent.
Trying a new tactic, Sky retracts his sword causing the creature to fall forward. Rolling out of the way, Sky tries to slash the creature's arm off but it grows bigger.
As Sky backed up in fear, another creature came up behind him.
"Oh no." Sky gulps seeing he is surrounded on both sides.
Backing up towards a building, a third creature appears atop it before jumping down.
"I refuse to surrender! I'll never give up!" Sky vows refusing to back down despite the bad circumstances.
As the creatures closed in a bright orange light shone from above.
"What in the world?" Looking up, Sky saw Bloom with an orange dragon aura surrounding her. "Bloom!" He smiles.
Raising her arms, Bloom hurls powerful blasts of magic at each creature causing them to explode into flames.
"Sky, are you all right?" Bloom asks flying down to him.
"Yeah. If you hadn't come along, I would've been done for." Sky said grateful.
"I don't believe you," Bloom said.
"Never in my life have I been so happy to have a fairy friend." Sky smiles making her feel better.
"You mean, a fairy with magic powers who can pack a good punch, if need be." Bloom smiles.
"That's it exactly! You read my mind! So your powers are back?" Sky asks.
"I saw Daphne. She spoke to me and set me on the right path. Now tell me, what happened here?" Bloom asks before noticing they are one person short. "And where's Ragnar?"
"He went after Drago and Toothless." Sky answers.
"And you let him go all by himself?" Bloom gasps worried. "Why?"
"Same reason I let you go by yourself. Because I trust you and I trust him. If Ragnar can find Toothless he'll meet us at Alfea." Sky assures.
"What about everything else?" Bloom asks.
"The entire dimension has fallen prey to the Trix's madness. Everywhere, there is nothing but evil and destruction." Sky gestures as they make their way through Magix.
"And what about Alfea?" Bloom asks.
"I don't know." Sky admits.
"Stella! The girls! Drago's attack! What if they're in danger?!" Bloom panics.
"Bloom, our friends aren't helpless. I'm sure Alfea is well-protected." Bloom said calming her down.
"We need to get there and fast," Bloom said as they made their way to Alfea. 'Ragnar, I hope you're okay.'
On the road, we see the dark army closing in on Alfea, but as they grew closer the Trix were beginning to argue amongst themselves.
"Ugh, this is taking too long. I still think there was a faster way of getting there." Stormy said.
"I couldn't care less what you think, Stormy. This is how I want things to be done! Magix must see the might of our troops." Icy insists.
"But don't you think Alfea's getting an advantage over us that way?" Darcy adds.
"Sisters, our only weakness is your stupid fear! The power of the Dragon is in our hands! What could you possibly be afraid of?" Icy asks as their army continues.
At Alfea, all the Specialists, Fairies, and Witches were making their final preparations for the battle ahead.
"It won't be a walk in the park, Faragonda," Griffin states.
"I know. But what choice do we have?" Faragonda asks.
"Faragonda…I—" Griffin starts.
"You don't have to feel responsible, Griffin. The upcoming battle isn't my only concern right now." Faragonda interrupts.
"Are you thinking about Bloom, Sky, and Ragnar?" Griffin assumes and Faragonda nods her head.
"I wish I knew what happened to them. I don't know if I should tell you this but... never before, in the history of this realm, has a fairy truly lost her powers through the ill will of some entity." Faragonda admits surprising her.
"What do you mean?" Griffin asks.
"If this is what's happened to Bloom, I hope, for the good of us all, that she hasn't lost herself. Her powers are extraordinary. I've never seen anything like it. She cannot lose them." Faragonda states.
Just when they thought it couldn't get any worse, all the dragons heard a noise alerting them to something.
As Crystal's ears perked up, she began to snarl.
"What's going on?" Mirta asks all the dragons to look in the opposite direction of the forest.
"Why are the dragons on edge?" Brandon asks taking out a telescope and sees several dragons in armor fly marching from the mountain range. All of them have their eyes on Alfea.
"There's an army of dragons heading this way!" Brandon gasps.
"Are they Ragnar's dragons? Did he find us reinforcements?" Stella hopes.
"I don't think so." Brandon gulps.
"What's going on?" Tecna asks worried.
"Your guess is as good as mine," Timmy said.
"Where's Ragnar when you need him?" Riven asks.
"Ragnar can't help you. No one can." A voice calls out.
They see Arios looking at them from the roof with a smug expression.
"Arios what is the meaning of this?" Saladin asks.
"As we speak, a battle that will decide the fate of every dragon is about to begin. A battle of Alphas and when the Night Fury is defeated all the dragons in this school will turn on their former owners and burn you and everything else to the ground." Arios declares horrifying everyone.
"Lagoon. You wouldn't?" Flora gasped looking at her dragon but Lagoon had a worried look.
Ripping off his Specialist uniform, Arios donned a leather dragon trapper uniform.
"Wait, I know that uniform! You're with those Dragon Kidnapping Ex Specialists who attacked Red Fountain!" Stella accuses.
"Who do you think got them in?" Arios smirks. "Every time Red Fountain claims a student no longer meets the qualifications. I send them to Master Drago to be made into Dragon Trapper for his army."
"How could you betray your school?!" Codatorta asks but Arios laughs.
"It was easy. I gave this dump years of my best and what did it get me? The secretary to an old man! This school is a waste of potential and when those creatures ran you all out, I had the biggest smile. And when we burn this school and all of you with it, revenge will be ours!" Arios grins hopping on a Deadly Nadder and taking off into the air.
"Get back here you!" Riven snaps about to get on Hookfang.
"Leave him, we have more dire matters to deal with." Codatorta orders forcing Riven to stand down.
"Yikes, and I thought my students were messed up." Griffin rolls her eyes.
"You of all people don't get to judge me." Saladin glares.
"Enough, it was bad enough we had one army but not two?" Faragonda said worried.
In the mountains near Alfea, Sleuther was flying through the air with Ragnar and Sneaky holding on.
Sensing something Sleuther dropped down just as a whole fleet of Armed Dragons flew past them.
"Look at all of them." Ragnar gasped as they all flew in one direction. "They're heading for Alfea." Ragnar realized.
But just as he was about to follow he heard a loud rumbling.
Whimpering Sneaky hid behind him.
"Sleuther?" Ragnar asks as the dragon frowns worriedly. "What's down there?"
Ragnar wanted to get back in the air but for some reason, Sleuther wouldn't budge.
"Sleuther?" Looking at him, Ragnar saw Sleuther had a conflicted look. He wanted to go but for some reason couldn't. Glancing at Sneaky the little dragon had the same expression.
Realizing this might be as far as they go Ragnar turned to them.
"Sleuther, Sneaky, you two fly ahead to Alfea and stall that army. I'll look for Drago and Toothless." Ragnar states.
Not liking it both dragons nod in understanding before taking off.
Taking a deep breath, Ragnar turns to the rumbling and continues forward.
At Alfea, everyone was armed and ready for combat as they eagerly awaited the Dark Army. At the same time, some were glancing towards the mountains wondering when the next army would arrive.
"All right, this is it. Hold your positions, everyone, the stakes have never been higher." Faragonda said as Dark Army emerged from the forest.
"Attack!" Icy orders as several flying creatures swooped in.
"Protecta Litar!" Griffin and Faragonda said casting a barrier around the school to repel the creatures.
Cackling, Stormy was amused by this. "Do they really think that their silly barrier can stop us?"
Standing up from her throne, Stormy concentrated her magic into a powerful magical bolt that struck the barrier destroying it.
"Get them!" Stormy said as her Windstriker flew in.
Flying upwards Siren and Windshear attack forcing it to dodge.
"You got it coming, you evil witches," Musa said as Flora hurled a blast of magic at Stormy.
Smirking Stormy held out her hand blocking it.
"What was that?" Stormy mocks.
As the creatures charged in all the dragons took to the skies and attacked.
Retaliating, Crystal fired multiple blasts she blew one creature's head off while Lagoon breathed boiling water on the ground troops.
Charging in, Skullcrusher and Meatlug rammed into several of them.
From the high points, various students hurled magic and weapons hoping to shoot them down.
But even with all their efforts the army was still advancing.
Spinning her staff, Stella fired a blast of light.
"We won't be able to hold them for long. What's going to happen to us when that other army gets here?" Stella asks.
Cackling Icy thought this battle was won. Suddenly a wall of flames erupted in front of the school.
Confused everyone looked to the sky and saw Bloom with her dragon aura surrounding her while Sky had joined the others.
"Hey Sky, it sure is good to see you again." Brandon smiles happy to see him.
"Hi everybody. Mind if I join in?" Bloom waves much to everyone's joy and the Trix's disappointment.
"It's not possible. I can't believe this!" Icy said while her sisters were starting to get nervous.
"You thought you were rid of me, didn't you, Icy? Well, you thought wrong." Bloom said hurling a blast of magic at her causing an explosion.
Gasping Stormy thought she was in trouble but from the smoke, we see Icy atop her Snow Wraith.
"What do you think you're doing? You seem to forget that you are not the only one who possesses the power of the dragon." Icy reminds as Stormy and Darcy get on their dragons.
Roaring the Snow Wraith fired an ice blast but suddenly a stream of fire blasted it away.
Turning around Bloom saw Cloudjumper at her side.
"Hey boy sorry I had to leave," Bloom said as her dragon nuzzled her.
"Bloom isn't alone this time," Flora said as the rest of the Winx joined them.
"I don't know how you do it Bloom, but you always push my buttons," Icy said releasing a blizzard.
Using her powers, Bloom burns away the snow and blasts Icy separating her from her dragon.
"Cloudjumper! Get that Snow Wraith out of the way!" Bloom orders.
Roaring Cloudjumper attacks the Snow Wraith forcing it away from Icy allowing Bloom to chase after her.
While the other Trix were distracted Stella and Flora blasted them with their magic.
Using this opening Siren released a sticky amber trapping the Changeling before it could turn invisible.
With a clear target, Windshear blasts it.
As the Windstriker flew through the air we saw Crystal and Lagoon chasing after it.
Breathing scalding hot water, the Windstriker counters with its blast destroying it.
Flying in, Crystal rams into the Windstriker knocking it away from the Winx.
As the dragons fought Stormy and Darcy were forced to face Stella, Musa, Tecna, and Flora on their own.
Near the school, Sky had fought his way to Riven as they fought back to back dealing with the creatures.
"Where in the world did you guys go?" Riven asks.
"Well, we parked the Space Spider in the Dark Forest and we went for a walk." Sky answers casually as they slash away a creature.
"So how did it go?" Riven asks.
"Well, we wanted to be alone and believe me we were. Magix is a total ghost town, Riven." Sky explains.
"The Trix have outdone themselves this time," Riven admits.
"Yeah. I think Bloom has just about had it with them." Sky admits when Brandon threw his javelin taking down one.
"Hey, guys. Just thought I would give you a hand." Brandon smirks.
"By the way have any of you guys seen Ragnar?" Sky asks.
"I thought he was with you." Riven reminds.
"He was but then we went off on his own," Sky said.
"Well unless he does something to help stop this I'm giving that Ragdoll a piece of my mind," Riven said when a loud explosion went off near the mountain range.
"Oh boy, what's that?" Sky asks.
"Trouble. The other army is here." Brandon cringed.
"Today! We get revenge on all those who mocked us! Today Saladin and all his troops are wiped out!" Arios declares as all the Trappers roared in agreement.
Turning their attention to an opening in the mountains in between a chasm the dragons spread their wings.
"Attack!" Arios orders when suddenly large rocks come tumbling down the cliffs above causing a rock slide.
As the dragons scrambled to avoid cover half of the army made it through while the other half was forced to fall back.
"Where did that come from?!" A leader asks in disbelief.
At the top of the rock wall, we see Sleuther knocking more rocks down.
While they were distracted nobody noticed Sneaky appear on the backs of their dragons.
"Enough! We have a battle to win!" A trapper said as they took off, attempting to fly over the wall. However, because of their broken saddles, the riders ended up falling over.
Flying up to Sleuther, Sneaky spit out several straps that were supposed to hold the saddles together.
Nodding both dragons had to keep this other half grounded for as long as possible.
Growling in anger, Arios turned back to the battle.
"The rest of you find a way to get back here! Everyone else let's go!" Arios said as half the dragon army flew into battle.
"What in the?" Looking ahead, Brandon saw Sleuther and Sneaky sabotaging the rest of the army. "Those are Ragnar's Dragons! They're preventing reinforcements from coming!" Brandon declares getting their attention.
"You were saying?" Sky smirks.
"Oh shut up and fight," Riven said not wanting to admit he was wrong.
"Anyone who knows how to ride a dragon get in the air!" Codatorta orders.
"You heard him!" Sky said as he, Riven, Brandon, Mirta, and Timmy got on their dragons and led the other dragons into battle.
Meanwhile, with Ragnar, we see him maneuvering down the path he looked down towards a large clearing they noticed Toothless was placed in the center while Drago waited for the effects to wear off.
Looking around, Ragnar saw Drago send the last of the Trappers away. He wanted to enjoy Toothless' suffering on his own.
Slowly getting feeling in his body, Toothless ripped himself free of the net and roared in anger at Drago.
"Perfect, our challenger is ready." Drago grins standing up and grabbing some chains.
Raising his spear, he swung it around violently letting out a scream before slamming it to the ground.
As the ground began to rumble, Ragnar felt like an earthquake was about to happen.
"Prepare yourself, Night Fury, for this is the last dragon you will ever see!" Drago declares as something bursts out of the ground in front of him.
Eyes widening Ragnar and Toothless were in disbelief seeing a gigantic dragon that resembled a Whispering Death but was almost 3 times its size, it had pure white skin with glowing red scales on its back, 3 rows of sharp jagged teeth with two giant fangs on either side of its mouth, large wings, a long serpent-like body, and evil red eyes.
"That's a Screaming Death, but it looks different." Ragnar declares remembering it from the books.
"Surprised Night Fury? This Alpha Screaming Death is the perfect dragon for revenge." Drago states.
Roaring the Alpha Screaming Death challenged Toothless to an Alpha fight.
Roaring in retaliation, Toothless accepts it.
Flapping his wings Toothless released a plasma bolt that hit the Screaming Death but it just shook it off.
Snarling the Alpha Screaming Death released multiple fireballs forcing Toothless to dodge.
As Toothless fired more plasma blasts, the Screaming Death dug underground dodging the attack.
From the smoke, Drago leaped through and swung his spear at him forcing Toothless to fly upwards.
"Your Alpha rules don't apply to humans," Drago smirks throwing a net at him.
Retaliating Toothless blasted the net away with ease unfortunately that was just a distraction as the Alpha Screaming Death shot out from underneath ramming into Toothless and knocking him to the ground.
Slamming its tail to the ground the Alpha Screaming Death sent large chunks of rocks flying at him.
Roaring lighting came down and zapped Toothless allowing him to briefly disappear.
"Where did he?" As Drago looks around Toothless comes up behind and blasts the ground between them knocking Drago back and the Screaming Death to the ground.
Diving bombing in, Toothless lands on the Screaming Death's back. Raising its head about to bite down, Drago hurled a chain wrapping around his neck.
Pulling back, Toothless was knocked off balance allowing the Screaming Death to throw him off.
As the Screaming Death turned to Toothless it flew in about to attack him when suddenly a powerful fire attack flew in hitting the Screaming Death in the side rattling it.
"What the?!" Drago gasps as Ragnar glides in and lands next to Toothless.
"Two against one is a little unfair. Maybe I can even the odds." Ragnar said drawing his sword.
Startled, Toothless did not expect him to catch up.
"Hey buddy, sorry it took a while, but I'm here." Ragnar smiles glancing at him.
"Ragnar, I'm surprised to see you. Alive that is." Drago narrows his eyes seeing the wrappings around his neck.
"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't rip you apart." Ragnar glares but Drago just chuckles.
"A little brush with death and suddenly someone has a burst of confidence. What makes you think can defeat me?" Drago mocks.
"Why not? Why else would you even be here?" Ragnar asks getting his attention.
"What are you babbling about?" Drago narrows his eyes.
"It took a while but I started to wonder why you would go through all this effort. Sending Toothless and all the dragons to our world just to rule over them, it's because even if you killed them in your world no one would obey you, no one fears you, and frankly, I don't blame them. You got your butt kicked and you came here hoping you could actually be something but you're not! You're not a warlord Drago; you're nothing but a failure!" Ragnar declares.
"How dare you mock me!" Drago snaps.
"It's no wonder you were recruiting Ex Specialists! That's not an army it's a band of whiny babies throwing tantrums because they didn't get what they wanted! They're losers just like you!" Ragnar said enraging Drago.
"You want to die so badly? Fine by me. Maybe when I cut you down, you'll stay down this time!" Drago said leaping atop the Alpha Screaming Death.
Wrapping a chain around its head spikes Drago held on tight.
Screaming Drago pointed his spear at Ragnar as the Screaming Death released a barrage of giant fireballs.
With no time to get to each other Ragnar and Toothless ran in different directions avoiding fire.
Firing a plasma blast just as it released a fireball a powerful explosion went off knocking both dragons back.
"Toothless!" Gasping Ragnar saw Toothless was knocked to the ground while the Screaming Death was just rattled.
"Finish it! Now's your chance!" Drago orders seeing Toothless is vulnerable.
Acting quickly Ragnar ran in front of Toothless.
"You want him you have to go through me!" Ragnar threatens but Drago just grins.
"With pleasure," Drago said as the Screaming Death did a spine shot.
Raising his sword, Ragnar deflects several spines but a few get through and slash his sides making him cringe in pain.
As the Alpha Screaming Death kept up his attack, Ragnar was struggling to push back against the overwhelming force but even as more attacks hurt him not a single one reached Toothless.
(Play You Say Run OST from My Hero Academia)
Roaring concerned Toothless begged Ragnar to stop causing his alpha glow to shine.
"I'm not leaving you to die Toothless. You're my friend." Ragnar said weakly as an orange aura of magic surrounded him.
"Dragons don't deserve loyalty like that! They are nothing but beasts meant to be broken and controlled! But if you insist you can die with him!" Drago roars as Alpha Screaming Death charges in.
Hearing this, both growled in anger as Toothless's Alpha glow mixed with Ragnar's magic.
"No... you're WRONG!" Ragnar roars at the top of his lungs as a bright light engulfs the two of them.
As the other fights continued, they were interrupted by the bright light that shot into the sky.
"What was that?" Icy asks surprised.
Gazing at the light Bloom felt a familiar aura radiating from it.
"Ragnar," Bloom said amazed.
Back at the fight, the light died down to reveal a new figure.
"What is this?" Drago said revealing Ragnar who was wearing a new armor.
On his head was a helmet that was shaped like Toothless' head, a visor over both his eyes, a sleek black armor, black gloves with jagged nails to resemble claws, two Night Fury wings on his back, a black tail, and his black sword had doubled sized to resemble a buster sword.
"Well alright then." Ragnar grins spreading his wings.
Appearing in front of Drago and the Screaming Death, flames surrounded Ragnar's fists and delivered a powerful punch that sent the large dragon flying backward.
Pulling on the chains, Drago got the Alpha Screaming Death to avoid crashing into the mountains.
Taking to the sky, Ragnar flew in like a bullet delivering a series of quick strikes and punches.
"He's too fast. What is he?!" Drago asks before noticing a flash of light. "There!"
As Ragnar dove in, the Screaming Death trapped Ragnar as its tail wrapped around his body.
"Look what you've become. You're nothing but a mindless, savage, animal!" Drago declares.
Taking a deep breath, Ragnar breathes a powerful fire and plasma attack hitting the Screaming Death in the face.
As it roared in pain, Ragnar escaped its grip and appeared behind Drago.
"There's nothing mindless about me, friend." Ragnar mocks before striking Drago in the back making him scream in pain.
Roaring the Alpha Screaming Death spun around and whacked Ragnar with his tail forcing him back towards the cliff.
Cringing, we see Ragnar pushing the giant dragon back by its teeth.
Opening its mouth the Screaming Death was about to release a fireball when Ragnar punched it hard in the teeth with a flaming fist knocking a tooth out and sending the dragon crashing back.
"That's what you were pretending to be right?! To be my friend! To care about me! When really you were just using me to get what you wanted!" Ragnar roars delivering strike after strike knocking the Screaming Death and Drago into the cliffs over and over again. "To help you take down my own friend! Put your hand in the dragon cage, expect to get bit old man!"
As the aura of a dragon surrounded him, the Screaming Death released a powerful fire attack only for Ragnar to counter with his own breath attack causing them to explode.
Eyes widening Drago saw Ragnar fly high into the air and dive towards him. "Come on Old Master! You're the big powerful Warlord, right?! The one destined to control all dragons?! Then prove it! Show me!" Ragnar roars ramming into Drago sending him skidding along the body.
Grabbing some scales, Drago steadies himself as Ragnar lands across from him.
Drawing his spear, Drago attacks Ragnar who blocks the attack.
Lunging forward Ragnar slashes at Drago forcing him to dodge but Ragnar manages to slash his scaley cape off him.
"Nothing to protect you from the flames now!" Ragnar roars.
Swinging his sword sparks fly as the two warriors pressed their weapons against each other in a lock.
"You're worse than the last Dragon Master I fought!" Drago spat.
"I'll take that as a compliment!" Ragnar counters as plasma surrounds his sword causing it to glow.
Swinging back, Ragnar slices Drago's spear in half before moving in with an upward slice slashing off Drago's left arm revealing it was made of metal.
As Drago stumbles back, flames surround Ragnar's foot as he kicks Drago in the chest sending him flying off the Screaming Death and crashing onto a rocky ledge.
Ragnar was about to deal with him when the Alpha Screaming Death shook him off.
Landing atop a cliff, Ragnar saw this dragon wanted them dead as much as Drago did.
"Fine. I'll deal with you first." Ragnar said turning to his real opponent.
As the dragon flew across from him, the Screaming Death snarled before lashing its head forward like a snake forcing Ragnar to dodge.
Pulling back, it attacked again but this time Ragnar swung his sword slashing it across the face making it hiss in pain.
Shaking it off, the Alpha Screaming Death dove underground.
Taking a stance, the part of Ragnar's helmet that resembled Toothless' ears began to move listening for any sign of it.
Suddenly he leaps away just as the Screaming Death burst out from where he was.
"Not good enough!" Flying upwards Ragnar delivers a flaming uppercut to the dragon's chin knocking it to the base of the tallest mountain in the range.
Shaking it off, the Alpha Screaming Death hurls spines at him but Ragnar spins his sword deflecting all the attacks.
"Let's end this!" Ragnar said gripping his sword tight and spreading his wings.
Launching himself at full speed, a bright aura surrounds Ragnar.
Before the Screaming Death could respond Ragnar slammed his sword against its neck and raced up the mountain making it scream in pain but its scales were still standing strong.
Roaring in determination Ragnar flew upwards continuing his slash attacks hitting it over and over again in the same spot forcing the Screaming Death up along with him his sword digging further and further into its neck.
"Come on! Come on! Come on!" Ragnar roars as they reach the top and Ragnar pushes past the Screaming Death to fly above it.
Putting everyone into this next attack orange flames and blue plasma engulfed his sword before dove down at full speed slamming his sword down on the Screaming Death causing its scream to be silenced as its head was cleaved from its body.
(Song End)
Flying over a lake, Bloom and Icy were clashing fire vs ice.
As Bloom hurls a dragon blast at her, Icy uses her powers to freeze it into a block of ice.
Retaliating, Icy unleashes her own ice blast forcing Bloom to fly out of the way to dodge.
"Seems your aim is a bit off!" Bloom mocks.
Growling in anger, Icy hurls multiple ice shards at her but Bloom ignites Inferno and swings it creating a flame whip whacking away the ice and striking Icy.
In the background, Cloudjumper and Icy's Snow Wraith stared each other down, and at the same, both rider and dragon released blasts of ice and fire clashing in the middle trying to overpower the other.
Creating an ice cage, Icy surrounds Bloom in it and throws her to the ground.
Laughing Icy thought she had her, until Bloom appeared behind her and laughing in her face to mock her.
Swinging Inferno, Bloom slashes Icy knocking her into the lake.
But that moment was short-lived as a giant hand shot out of the water and grabbed her.
As Bloom was pulled under Icy flew upwards and froze the entire lake with Bloom under the surface.
Using her powers, Bloom burst through the ice far from finished.
Near the school, the Winx were dealing with Stormy and Darcy.
Using her powers, Darcy made multiple copies of herself before Stormy unleashed a powerful tornado which when combined with Darcy's dark magic turned purple with lightning bolts emitting from it.
Raising her arms, Tecna made a forcefield around her and the Winx to protect them.
When both attacks disappeared, Stella swung her scepter blasting away the fakes.
"Flower Twister!" Flora said firing a flower attack.
Acting quickly Darcy's Changewing spit acid melting the flowers but Windshear swings its tail hitting it in the head.
"Let's add a touch of music to this," Musa said creating speakers that blasted the Trix and their dragons with loud music.
"Enough of this!" Stormy said blasting the speakers to bits before firing at the Winx forcing them back.
Across Alfea, Sky and Skullcrusher were flying through the air fighting off the Dragon Trappers.
As their reinforcements struggled to get over the wall, several were still being sabotaged by Sleuther and Sneaky.
"So you came back." Turning around Sky saw Arios glaring him down.
"Arios? So you were the traitor the whole time?" Sky glares.
"I never liked you Sky. I'm gonna enjoy this." Arios said drawing a scimitar before his Deadly Nadder flew in.
Using his shield Sky blocks it as Skullcrusher rams into the Nadder knocking them back.
Leaping off, Sky tackles Arios onto a cliff.
Swinging their weapons the two of them clashed blades as they tried to overpower.
"You have no idea what it's like to be told you're not good enough! To be called a failure despite all your hard work!" Arios snaps.
"I don't but I have a friend who encountered nothing but that!" Sky said pushing back. "And unlike you, he didn't whine about it."
Up in the air, we see Mirta and Bolt being chased by some armored dragons.
"Bolt you ready?" Mirta asks as Bolt roars.
Using her powers Mirta made multiple copies of her and Bolt who flew in different directions.
"Stop them!" One said as they chased after but all were fakes.
"Gotcha!" Dropping in from above, Riven and Hookfang knocked them off their dragons while Bolt hurled bolts of lightning zapping them.
As the rock wall near the mountains collapsed we see a few rocks at the bottom break to form a large ledge.
With a clear path to Alfea, the Dragon Trappers were about to attack and overwhelm them.
Roaring all the dragons were about to attack the school when something flew in from above.
Crashing in front of the army and rolling towards the school, everyone looks in shock to see the Screaming Death's head and Drago's arm collapse in front of the school.
"Look at the size of that thing." Timmy gasps.
"I've never seen a dragon that big," Mirta said shocked.
"No. It can't be." Arios gasped as the Dragon Trappers froze in disbelief.
"What is that?" Riven asks when suddenly Sky remembers that arm and what Drago said.
Turning to the Dragon Trappers, Sky glared them down.
"Your leader has fallen! Your alpha is dead! Your army is no more! Surrender now or be destroyed!" Sky declares.
Immediately on cue, all the armored dragons flung the trappers off and retaliated. With no Screaming Death to inspire fear, they were free to fight back.
"No! No! I won't let this—" Before Arios could finish Sky punches him in the face knocking him unconscious and one of his teeth out.
Eyes widening the Trix's Snow Wraith, Changeling, and Windstriker found themselves without an Alpha.
As the armored dragons abandon their former riders, we see all of them fly to Alfea's side.
"Now we have an army of our own." Mirta grins.
"Dragons…attack!" Saladin orders as every dragon both good and formerly bad attacked the Dark army.
"Guys you don't think?" Brandon asks.
"Ragnar." Sky smiles.
With the fights leaning in their favor the Dark Army was beginning to weaken.
"The strength of these creatures is linked to the Trix's power. As the witches' energy drops, so does the might of their army." Faragonda realized.
"Then we have to keep fighting," Saladin said.
"Where are Bloom and Ragnar?" Faragonda asks.
In the mountains, Drago was slow to get up, he cringed in pain revealing Ragnar's strike had broken a few ribs.
Lifting his head up, he sees the headless Screaming Death dead on the ground.
"No. No!" Drago growls in anger when his group of Speed Stingers from earlier approach him.
Using his one good arm, Drago reached for the sharp point of his spear.
Roaring in anger, Drago swings it around in an attempt to control them, but the dragons remain still.
"Obey me! I am your master!" Drago said.
"Not anymore." Looking up, Drago saw Ragnar join them.
As his visor opens up, we see Ragnar with green and black eyes like Toothless glaring at him.
"Ah, my apprentice. I had my doubts, but you rose to the challenge. Good work." Drago said trying to lie his way through it.
"Apprentice? I thought you were done with me. That I've outlived my usefulness." Ragnar recites gripping his sword tight.
"No, you don't understand. I was testing you, and you passed. You're no longer my apprentice. You and I are equals. Together, you and I could rule the dragons, rule this world. It's the truth." Drago said backing up in fear.
"There's only true thing you ever told me, Drago. When pushed far enough a dragon will ALWAYS go for the kill." Ragnar recites and the dragons instantly growled getting the signal.
Eyes widening Drago saw Ragnar step back allowing the dragons to approach him. And needless to say, all of them were eager for revenge.
"Goodbye." Ragnar declares snapping his fingers.
Roaring all the Speed Stingers lunged at Drago with gleaming fangs and sharp claws.
Closing his eyes, Ragnar continued walking as the sounds of snarling and roars echoed followed by Drago's screams as the dragons ripped him to pieces before they were finally silenced.
Suddenly Ragnar felt something roll against his leg.
Looking down he saw a vial had fallen from Drago, the same vial he used to bring the dragons here.
Bending down to pick it up, Ragnar had stopped one enemy but the Trix remained at large.
Back with the others, Bloom was pushing Icy past her patience.
"That's enough! I've had it! I'm finished toying with you!" Icy growls freezing Bloom in a large chunk of ice.
Cackling Icy thought this match was hers.
"You girls have had your fun but now I think it's time to teach you a lesson," Darcy said.
"Leave it to me, sister. I'll cut them down to size." Stormy said spinning quickly creating a powerful tornado that sucked in all the Winx as well as knocking away all the students below.
Roaring, Crystal tried to swoop in and save them but the storm was too strong for the dragon's wings causing them to fly backwards.
Concerned for their riders all they could do was watch.
Cackling Stormy thought she had them beat.
Struggling Stella fought through the storm and managed to grab Flora's hand.
"Everyone grab my scepter!" Stella yells as Flora, Tecna, and Musa fight through the wind and grab hold.
Pouring their magic into it, the scepter began to glow.
Slowly the tornado began to change colors to the point it was yellow and under the Winx control.
Gasping Darcy was now being pulled into it along with Stormy.
"Now!" Griffin yells as both Headmistresses see an opening.
As the two witches plummeted to the ground, they captured them inside a large black sphere preventing them from escaping or using their magic.
With the two of them captured the Dark Army began to disappear allowing everyone to catch their breath.
Finally, the battle between Bloom and Icy was reaching its conclusion.
Gazing at her giant ice prison, Icy cackled to see Bloom was still trapped inside.
"Try breaking free from that, Miss Goody Fairy!" Icy laughs.
From inside a faint glow emitted and a large orange dragon flew around the ice prison much to Icy's disbelief.
"No! It can't be!" Icy gasps as the dragon breaks Bloom free from her prison.
Gripping Inferno tightly, Bloom pours her magic into it creating a giant blade of flaming energy.
"You're through Icy!" Bloom roars raising it upwards before slamming it down sending the blade of dragon flame energy at Icy hitting her dead center and making her scream in pain.
When the light from the flames died down the last of the dark army had disappeared.
It was finally over, the Dragon Army had been stopped, the Dark Amy and Trix were defeated, and the battle was won.
"They did it. It's over." Saladin said as Mirta looked out at the mountains and smiled.
"Guys! You really need to see this!" Mirta calls out excitedly.
Curious all of them looked out and were surprised to see all the dragons gathered at the base of the mountains.
(Play King of Pride Rock from Lion King)
Slowly emerging, Ragnar sees all the dragons both captured and trained look at him awaiting the confirmation of their new alpha.
Hearing a soft growl, Ragnar sees Sleuther and Sneaky waiting by the base of the ledge overlooking the dragons.
Slowly both dragons bowed their heads in respect, smiling Ragnar grabbed them both and gave a group hug.
"I couldn't have done it without you guys." Ragnar smiles before letting go.
All the Fairies, Specialists, and Witches looked in awe as Ragnar climbed the rock. Glowing brightly, Ragnar's armor returned to normal as Toothless now walked alongside him before reaching the top and overlooking all the dragons who bowed their heads in respect.
Ragnar looks to Toothless and gestures for him to go but Toothless smiles and gestures for him to go first.
Eyes widening Ragnar turned to the dragons and realized, since he and Toothless combined slayed the Screaming Death, that made him and Alpha alongside Toothless!
Looking down, Ragnar for a brief moment saw Daphne among the dragons.
"You can do it." Daphne nods as a smile form on Ragnar's face.
Gaining the confidence, strength, and inspiration needed Ragnar roared at the top of his lungs with Toothless roaring after him.
Lifting their heads all the dragons responded to their call as the new Alphas.
(Song End)
"Holy crap," Riven said in disbelief.
"What is this?" Griffin asks in disbelief.
"Guys…I think Ragnar is now a Dragon Alpha." Timmy declares.
"Dragons bowing to a human. I've never seen anything like that." Tecna said.
"That boy never fails to amaze me." Saladin smiles.
"He really is something else, isn't he?" Stella sighs head over heels.
"Yeah, he really is." Musa sighs in agreement.
As the dark clouds disappear revealing the bright sky, Bloom flies in carrying an unconscious Icy.
"I thought I'd seen the last of you, Bloom." Stella smiles.
Overjoyed that she was okay and the day was saved, Sky approached her and the two shared a sweet kiss before laughing overjoyed.
Throughout Magix, the damage the Trix had done disappeared and all the citizens revived from their dark cocoons.
As the sun was setting we saw Faragonda and Griffin talking.
"My students and I must return to Cloud Tower, Faragonda. There's a lot to do. It'll take a while for things to get back to normal." Griffin states.
"What about the Trix?" Faragonda asks.
"They seem to be waking up from a bad dream. They were driven mad by their thirst for power." Griffin said.
"The power of the Dragon belongs to Bloom and Ragnar. Only they can control it. Trying to take it away from her was both crazy and dangerous." Faragonda said.
"I can assure you they will be punished for their crimes," Griffin assures as Saladin joins them.
"Good news from Magix: life is returning to normal," Saladin said with a smile.
"That's great to hear." Faragonda smiles.
Nearby Knut was gazing at Faragonda with a nervous expression on his face.
"Go on Knut." Brandon urged.
"Sooner or later, you'll have to ask her." Bloom gestures.
As Knut slowly approached them, he began shaking like a leaf.
"Excuse us. Knut wants to ask you something." Stella said seeing he needed help.
"Go ahead Knut. What is it?" Griffin asks.
"Uhm... well... it's like because I think kinda doing well here at Alfea and uhm... maybe I'd like to stay here... Uhm... maybe like i-if there's room... Y-yes, that would be nice." Knut stutters.
"Knut, if I'm not mistaken, you're asking if you can stay here at Alfea?" Saladin summarizes.
"What do you say, Griffin? Would you mind he staying in here instead of Cloud Tower?" Faragonda asks.
"I have no objection whatsoever and I appreciate your consulting me on this matter." Griffin nods.
Soon, Knut adjusting to his new job as a janitor and was raking up leaves and dragon scales.
"How's it going, Knut?" Musa calls out. "Party's going to start soon. Everything's got to be in tip-top shape. We'll see you later." Musa said as she and the other Winx flew past Mirta who was leading Bolt to Lucy.
"Lucy, meet Bolt." Mirta introduces. "Bolt, this is my best friend, Lucy."
"Whoa, that is one badass-looking dragon," Lucy said hesitating. "Uh does it bite?"
"Not if Bolt trusts you. Here." Mirta grabs Lucy's hand and holds it out for Bolt to sniff.
Nervous, Lucy thought he might bite her arm off, but to her surprise he let her put her hand on his scales.
"Mirta, this is the coolest thing you've ever done." Lucy compliments making her smile.
"Are you sure you don't want to stay here with me?" Mirta asks.
"No, Cloud Tower is my home. Besides, this place suits you more." Lucy said.
"Yeah, I'm lucky I met friends like Flora…and Ragnar." Mirta sighs.
"Dragon boy? Wait, are you into him?" Lucy asks making Mirta blush.
"Well I mean, Ragnar is very kind, not to mention cool, reliable, and pretty amazing," Mirta admits her face getting as red as her head.
"Oh, you are head over heels." Lucy giggles. "Well Mirta, if you like him you better tell him. Because if he's half as amazing as you said I bet other girls will start checking him out."
"I guess that's true. What about you?" Mirta asks but Lucy just shrugs off.
"Nah that guy isn't my type," Lucy said as Faragonda approached them.
"Cheer up, girls. You're going back home." Faragonda said as Lucy got up.
"Goodbye, Lucy. I'll miss you." Mirta frowns sad to see her friend go.
As Lucy was about to leave, she glanced at Bolt.
"Hey dragon," Lucy said getting his attention. "Keep an eye on Mirta for me."
Nodding Bolt, was happy to oblige.
As all the witches were gathered in front, Griffin and Faragonda said their goodbyes.
"I guess it's time for us to say goodbye," Faragonda said.
"We put up a good fight, Faragonda. But now it's time for our schools to focus on their missions." Griffin said as Fragonda nodded in agreement. "Come on girls. Hurry up. Cloud Tower awaits our return."
Raising her arms, Griffin made a portal for all the students to walk through.
Alongside them, another portal opens.
"And as far as Icy, Darcy and Stormy are concerned. They're heading to the Light Rock Monastery for a purification retreat." Griffin said as the Trix were forced into another portal.
Icy turns around glaring daggers at Bloom before being shoved in.
"Mama! Mama! Mama!" Pepe said running through the portal after her.
Frowning Kiko was sad to see him go.
"Come on Kiko. Don't be sad. Pepe wants to be with his mommy. You'd want to stay with me too, wouldn't you? Right?" Bloom asks as Kiko nods.
"As for Arios and the other traitors, I have a different punishment for them," Saladin said.
"While the leaders will sentenced to imprisonment the rest will be subjected to building and maintaining a dragon sanctuary for all the dragons as well as feeding, cleaning after, and caring for them," Codatorta adds.
"Clever, they go from making dragons their servants to being servants to dragons," Griffin said amused.
In the medical room, we see Ragnar in his casual clothes but as he puts on his shirt, we see a small scar running up his neck towards his chin from when Drago attacked him.
Wincing softly, most of the pain was gone but it still hurt a little.
"You know it doesn't look that bad." Turning around, Ragnar saw Bloom approach him.
"Saladin always used to say scars are nothing to be ashamed of, they're proof that you've survived battle." Ragnar recites.
"But how do you feel?" Bloom asks.
"Relieved, worried, happy, scared, and a few other emotions," Ragnar admits sitting down.
"I bet," Bloom said sitting down next to him.
"So where do we go from here?" Ragnar asks.
"You and I are twins, that hasn't changed and somewhere our real parents are waiting for us," Bloom said putting her hand on his shoulder. "We just got to take this one step at a time."
"Still, I think my family, my adoptive family should at least know this. Wanna come with me?" Ragnar asks.
"Sure, I like your adoptive parents." Bloom nods.
"I guess from now on, you better start taking me along on all your crazy family excursions. Since they're my parents too." Ragnar said making Bloom smile.
"Deal." Reaching to her side, Bloom unclips Inferno. "Here you probably want this back."
"Actually…" Ragnar pushes it back. "Why don't you hold onto it for me?"
"Really?" Bloom asks surprised.
"Think of it as a birthday present for all those years we were apart," Ragnar said.
"Thanks, but I'll still let you borrow it if you need it," Bloom said before hugging Ragnar close.
Slowly Ragnar hugged Bloom back.
"I'm happy I have a brother looking out for me now." Bloom sighs.
"Yeah…having a sister is pretty nice too," Ragnar admits.
"Come on, the party is about to start," Bloom said grabbing his arm and leading him outside.
That night, we see all the students outside as well as all the dragons watching from outside the gates.
"May I please have your attention?" Faragonda calls out. "We are gathered here to celebrate a momentous event. Alfea has always been a school for fairies, and so, in honor of the great courage, loyalty, and outstanding spirit of collaboration shown by some of you, especially during the last few days, I've decided to renew the concept of the modern fairy with a new word…Winx." Faragonda declares as all the students burst into cheers.
As the party began the students of Alfea and Red Fountain were having a blast.
Sitting at one table, we see Mirta has joined the Winx, Brandon, Sky, Timmy, and Riven.
"Hey guys look who made it back in time," Bloom said gesturing to Ragnar making everyone smile.
"There he is! The man of the hour!" Brandon calls out.
"Ragnar the Dragon Slayer!" Timmy declares as Ragnar blushes.
"Oh boy is that going be a thing?" Ragnar asks.
"Better than Raggy the Ragdoll and it comes with some cool proof," Tecna said gesturing outside to show Saladin was examining the remains of the Screaming Death's head and Drago's metal arm.
"Saladin plans on hanging those in the Red Fountain trophy room," Brandon states as Sky gets up.
"Way to go buddy," Sky said punching his shoulder. "I knew you had in you."
"Easy. I'm still worn out." Ragnar cringed making him laugh.
"Way to step up buddy. You really pulled through for us." Sky said.
"Well, I did have some help, by the way, I still owe you a dragon armor," Ragnar said making him smile.
"Seriously? I'm gonna have wings and everything?" Sky smiles.
"If you want." Ragnar shrugs.
"Hey, can I get one?" Timmy asks interested.
"Yeah, I want a dragon armor too," Brandon said.
"If you're just giving these things away, mind if I get one?" Riven asks.
"Sorry guys, best friend goes first," Sky said leading him to the buffet. "Listen, buddy, before anything else. There's something I need to tell you."
"Yeah?" Ragnar asks.
"While you were being crowned Dragon Alpha, Bloom and I kissed." Sky admits surprising him.
"Whoa. So are you two?" Ragnar asks.
"I want us to be, but seeing as she's your sister and you're my best friend I just wanted to figure this out before anything else happened," Sky said.
"I appreciate it, but I think this can be Bloom's call. You two were into each other before we found out we were related. As long as you two are happy together, I don't have a problem with it." Ragnar assures.
"Thanks, man," Sky said when Musa and Stella walked over.
"Excuse me?" Musa calls out.
"Can we borrow him for a bit?" Stella asked as both girls led him away.
"What's wrong?" Ragnar asks only to be immediately hugged by both girls.
"We were so worried about you," Musa admits.
"I thought I would never see you again." Stella chokes.
"Girls, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you worry." Ragnar said as they let go.
"We were worried. We had to fight off wave after wave of the dark army and then when the Dragon Hunters revealed themselves it was starting to look grim." Musa said.
"Which is why, I need to tell you, Ragnar. I love you." Stella confesses.
"I love you too." Musa declares.
As much as Ragnar wanted to say it back, he felt like he was back in Domino.
"Girls you two are amazing but I just—" Ragnar starts but Stella puts a finger to his lips stopping him.
"We're not gonna make you choose," Stella smirks confusing him.
"Stella and I talked for a while and realized there was an alternative that makes us all happy." Musa smirks.
"You don't want to choose between us because you don't want the other and our team to be hurt by it, but if you date the both of us no one gets hurt." Stella declares leaving him speechless.
"You girls, want me to date you both?" Ragnar asks unsure.
"I hate to see you so sad and conflicted. You deserve to be with someone who loves you." Stella declares.
"Even if it is more than one girl," Musa said.
"Then, I guess I would love to be your boyfriend. Both of you." Ragnar admits.
Smiling Stella leans in and kisses him on the lips which he happily returns.
"Hey, it's my turn." Leaning in, Musa kisses Ragnar next sealing it.
Smiling on the inside, Ragnar was thrilled by this. He didn't have to choose and now he had some amazing girlfriends.
As the party excitement dies down, we see Bloom sitting by the wishing well.
"Bloom?" Sky calls out approaching her. "Are you okay?"
"I should be happy, huh?" Bloom asks.
"Well, aren't you?" Sky asks sitting next to her.
"I don't know. I keep thinking about my adoptive parents, my birth parents, my past and there are still so many things I don't get." Bloom lists.
"Listen. Whatever it is you choose to do, I want you to know that you're not alone." Sky declares putting his hand on top of hers.
Finally, we see Ragnar and Toothless outside the dragon stables. Holding the vial in his hand, Ragnar looked at it with curiosity before putting it in his pocket as Toothless sat next to him.
"Crazy how much my life has changed since you came along." Ragnar smiles turning to him.
Glancing back, Toothless was watching Crystal and the other dragons.
They had beaten Drago but now they had no idea how to return to their world.
"Toothless, I promise we'll figure out a way to send you all home," Ragnar vows.
"Thanks, Ragnar." A male voice said startling him.
"Who said that?" Ragnar asks looking around.
"What do you mean? There's no one else around but us." The voice said again.
Pausing Ragnar looks down at Toothless in disbelief.
"Toothless…I-I can understand you." Ragnar declares surprising him.
"I don't believe this," Toothless said.
Drago and the Trix had been defeated, the Screaming Death slain and the realm had been saved, but this surprise indicated one thing to Ragnar. Things were about to get interesting.
