Title: Wild Hearts

Chapter One: Awakening

Alex Sheridan groaned as his eyes fluttered open, his head spinning slightly. He felt the warmth of a soft bed beneath him and the faint scent of jasmine in the air. Blinking, he slowly turned his head and took in his surroundings. The room was softly lit by the morning sun filtering through a nearby window, casting a gentle glow over the white and gold Wild Force Ranger suit draped over a chair.

Wait...

His breath hitched as he turned to his side and saw Alyssa Enrilé, the White Tiger Wild Force Ranger, lying beside him. But what caught him even more off guard was that she wasn't just beside him—she was still in her full Ranger suit, minus the helmet, her dark hair cascading over the pillow. And worse? His own state of dress, or rather, undress. He was shirtless, the sheets barely covering him.

"Oh, you're awake," Alyssa murmured, her voice laced with amusement as she gazed at him with warm brown eyes.

Alex swallowed hard, trying to process how exactly he ended up in this situation. "Uh...morning?" He tried to sit up, but before he could move far, Alyssa placed a gentle but firm hand on his chest and pushed him back down onto the mattress.

"Stay a little longer," she whispered, a teasing smile playing on her lips.

Alex felt his heartbeat quicken. He wasn't sure what was happening, but her touch sent a shiver down his spine. "Alyssa, not that I'm complaining, but...how did I get here?"

She giggled softly, leaning in just a little closer. "You were exhausted after yesterday. Fighting Orgs takes a lot out of a person, and you pushed yourself too hard. So I brought you here to rest."

Alex let out a nervous chuckle. "Right. And me being... well, like this?"

Alyssa shrugged, her smile widening. "You were burning up, so I had to help you cool down."

Alex could feel the heat rising to his face. He opened his mouth to say something—anything—but Alyssa silenced him by leaning in and pressing her lips softly against his. The kiss was slow and sweet at first, but as Alex melted into it, he felt her deepen it, her arms wrapping around his shoulders, pulling him closer.

His thoughts were a blur now, lost somewhere between the scent of jasmine and the intoxicating feeling of Alyssa's lips against his. He hadn't expected to wake up like this, but now that he was here, he wasn't sure he wanted to leave.

As she finally pulled away, Alyssa gave him a look that was both affectionate and mischievous. "Now, are you really in a hurry to leave?"

Alex grinned, pulling her back into his arms. "Not anymore."

Outside, the jungle of Turtle Cove remained peaceful, but inside Alyssa's bedroom, their hearts raced together, untamed and wild.
