The Reds, red tape, and everything in between intertwine Garrus Vakarian and Shepard in a murder investigation on the Zakera ward. Garrus is an up-and-coming officer at Citadel Security. He leads the murder investigation on Aptis Casotin. While Shepard, a former Alliance marine with ties to The Tenth Street Reds, finds herself stuck in the middle as a confidential informant.
