Alright, been a long long while with this one huh? Stupidly long. When I was last actively writing for this, it was during a point when there was a lot of drama going on in my life, and on top of that, to be frank the war arc made me absolutely despise the series for a long while. I can't stand Deku, I can't stand the hypocrisy surrounding Shigaraki. I absolute despise Touya/Dabi, he's not at all sympathetic and everything wrong with his family, even Endeavour's abuse of his family, can be traced back to him. He was simply born wrong. And of course, many already know but I cannot stand Toga at all, the character I hate the most in the entire series and will kill her off brutally the first chance I get. Ochako was my favourite character in the series, not even as a waifu, but just in general I vibed with the character, and she was ruined because of that cunt Toga. Though I will say this, stop flooding my dm's begging me to pair Toga with Kano, or ranting and raving at me about how sympathetic she is and what a great waifu she is and blah fucking blah about how I'm just an incel cunt that can't understand blah blah quirks fault no help bad society blah blah. Seriously, stop. Toga is trash, get over it, and keep your obsessions with the psychopathic mass murderer away from me, cuz the more you ree at me about it, the more spiteful I become in regards to the character. The slew Issei fans who sent deaths about my Beyond Critical story can tell you how that goes.

So yeah, the war arc and the ending with Mr. Just Put The Fries In The Bag Bro, just totally soured opinion on the series as a whole and took me a long time to feel like bothering with it again. But here we are, back again by popular demand. Yeah, surprisingly, this one got a lot of requests for me to get back to.

Standard opening here to let you guys know, If you want to read ahead in advance, with the Big P fucking me over, you'll need to head over to my subscribestar. Ochako didn't think she'd felt this full in the morning in a long time. The British breakfast Kano had brought, more Scottish than anything else by his own admission, was absolutely massive.

She wasn't even sure what most of it was, and actually she kind of didn't want to know. Some were really nice and amazing and actually looked the part like those square sausage, the sausage links and the soft triangle things Kano called potato scones.

They looked nothing like scones!

But still, they were great. Honestly, she couldn't even really say anything in it tasted bad or anything like that. But, there were for sure some parts of it that didn't look at all appetizing, like that black pudding stuff.

Again, it was nothing at all like pudding!

Also, haggis. She'd actually heard of that before, she hadn't ever known much about it beyond it was a stereotype about Scotland that the people over there ate lots of haggis and wore kilts and were very violent and drank a lot of alcohol.

She hadn't known it was something that could be eaten as a breakfast item though. And Ochako for sure did not want to know what it was made of.

All in all, it wasn't a light meal at all, and was pretty heavy. But, that was more or less the kind of thing Kano needed because of his body and quirk apparently.

…The problem was, apparently they weren't even done with just that.

"…Is this really necessary?" Ochako couldn't help but ask as they left her apartment building behind.

She resisted the urge to cast a glance back at her door in worry, Kano assured her Mochi would be fine, and they'd barricaded him in a little makeshift playpen so he couldn't cause trouble, but still he was just a tiny baby puppy!

Though, what she was asking about, wasn't anything to do with Mochi, but rather the bottle she held in her hand. A white and yellow bottle of vanilla flavoured protein shake.

Kano who was currently mid way through gulping down a bottle of his own swallowed, before lowering it from his lips and grinning at her, a white moustache of protein shake over his top lip, "Definitely," he nodded, "While the breakfast was already packed with a lot of protein, these are especially made protein drinks to help muscle recovery and growth." and saying that, he finished the bottle of protein shake, before pulling out another from somewhere.

It was like he just magicked it into existence.

He probably was just keeping it in his back pocket or something though.

Ochako cast a glance down at the bottle, where a price tag saying 300 yen sat innocently atop the bottle. That was nearly as much as a bag of mochi with eight whole pieces in it when not on deal!

Seriously, how much did he spend just on breakfast a day? Between this, two of his own and that massive breakfast….

'I suppose this is the fruits of all his hard work, huh?' she mused, it was all bought with money he made himself. "I suppose." Ochako conceded. Considering his giant muscles and the success he'd found so far, she couldn't deny he obviously knew far more about muscle building than her.

Granted she only really knew the basics, but still.

"Protein is the most important resource for your body when building it up," Kano shrugged, "Granted, there's a limit to how much you should take, you'll need to tell me your weight if I want to narrow it down properly."

She did not ask for that, so it was kind and thoughtful of him to bring it up. Nonetheless-

"I'm not telling you that," Ochako narrowed her eyes at him and denied him bluntly, "Didn't you have a long term girlfriend before? You should know better than to ask a girls weight y'know." she pointed out.

Kano cocked his head to the side, a confused look appearing on his face, "…I don't get it." he replied.

It was kind of cute actually to see such a befuddled look appearing on the usually so sure and confident Kano's face.

Was this gap moe?

Ochako raised an eyebrow at him, "Are you trying to say your ex had no problem talking about her weight?" she asked.
"Why wouldn't she?" Kano's face scrunched up even more in confusion.

Hmm.

Ochako had to resist the urge to click her tongue. How enviable, to be so confident in yourself as a woman you didn't mind revealing your weight at all. Or was it just because of the kind of…girl that Kano's ex was.

She hadn't seen much of her in Kano's videos, and only checked her up because she'd been curious after he claimed she didn't lose out to his ex girlfriend the looks department.

And that was a damn lie for sure, Kano was just too nice to compare them. Camie after all, turned out to be a tall, leggy, busty, beautiful honey blonde with prominent attractive lips and wide expressive eyes.

No way she measured up to that!

Admittedly, she seemed to be a bit of an airhead as well, but that just added to that girls charm for sure!

Her gut clenched a bit at the thought of Kano's ex, before she squashed it and put a smile on her face, "Do you think Mochi will really be okay?" she asked, changing the subject.

Kano raised an eyebrow at her, before shrugging, "He'll be fine, don't worry so much baby-mama." he grinned at her.

"Don't call me that!" Ochako protested, feeling her cheeks heat up and casting a quick glance around them, and sighing in relief when she saw nobody in sight to overhear his words, "You'll give people the wrong idea!"

Kano just laughed at her.

She pouted.

The disappointment that emanated from the class as a near whole, was pretty much palpable in the air when classes started.

Kano was actually pretty amused by it. A lot of them seemed to think that after yesterday with the old grouchy red eye, they'd be getting thrown into the deep end right away with hero training.

Their disappointment was immeasurable and their day ruined when they realised that they would in fact all still need to study normal classes as well.

Kano having known Aizawa for ten years, was already well prepared for this to happen, even if he still would have preferred hero training over studying himself.

Izuku had always been the smarter between the pair of them and Kano himself was pretty mid-tier in general amongst his classes, he always did alright, but nothing stand out in that regard like Izuku….

Or that fuckboy Bakushitty.

Kano glanced across the room from where he sat behind Ochako to look at the bombastic bastard casually reclining at his desk with a scowl on his face.

Bastard even got a seat by the window. Bet that made him feel even more like the 'protagonist'.

Kano's fingers twitched with the reflexive urge to form into a fist as he remembered his goading words yesterday, before he shook his head and decided to ignore the piece of trash for the moment.

He'd get him back later.

Classes started off normally for a high school. If, to a much higher standard than most others. After attendance was taken during Homeroom with Aizawa-sensei, the first class of the day was English taught by Present Mic. It was usually quite a chafing type of class in Kano's previous schools, but Present Mic was well capable of making the class engaging and fun, keeping everyone lively and involved.

After that, it was history taught by the alluringly beautiful and curvaceous Rated-18 hero, Midnight. The vast majority of the males in the class, had no problem staying away and listening to her dutifully through the class. And he couldn't say he was all that much different.. She was hot as hell as the skimpy costume she wore was skin tight and left absolutely nothing to the imagination.

Yet…Kano found her costume pretty boring at the same time to be honest. She tried way too hard to be sexy in his opinion. It was nice to look at, but didn't really get his engines revving or anything. Though it definitely did wonders for the overly hormonal virgins in his class.

Like Mineta, and that one dude with the electricity quirk, Kaminari was his name if Kano remembered right.

And a single glance told him that his little brother was blushing up a storm at her attire. Kano rolled his eyes and turned his attention back to the front, only to see Ochako looking at him over her shoulder, a short, thin eyebrow raised.

He raised an eyebrow back, before she smiled, rolled her eyes and turned to look at the front again.

…Weird.

Ochako really was a bit of an odd girl sometimes. The girl sure could eat though, that was for sure.

Ectoplasm teaching the classes on mathematics, was much more traditional as far as teaching went than Midnight. But, he was quick on the ball and didn't let anyone get away with slacking.

Kaminari found that out. That guy, it seemed was a bit of a slacker.

And following Ectoplasm, was Cementoss teaching literature. He like Ectoplasm was much more traditional as far as teaching went, but he was more easy going than Ectoplasm, so the class was actually quite relaxing.

And finally, after those four classes, the class was all let out for lunch. Despite how intense the classes were though and how hard the subject material was - where usually most students would be exhausted by these kind of classes, instead there was a perpetual cheery atmosphere throughout the students of Kano's class.

Even Bakugou was grinning like a loon when he stomped out of class for lunch.

And that was for one simple reason.

After lunch, the rest of the afternoon would be dedicated to hero training! What everyone was here for and everyone was looking forward towards the most.

Honestly, Kano was the odd duck out there he was sure. He knew from Aizawa that battle training was quite common and since they were early into the year, and right after getting their assessment yesterday…there were good odds in his mind that they would be conducting battle training today to get a good feel for everyone's combat abilities.

Not exactly Kano's idea of a good time when he could squash most of his classmates by accident.

He was much more excited by the prospect of lunch and getting specially made meals cooked for him by Lunch Rush!

U.A was seriously awesome!

Tough classes that made her brain sizzle inside her skull aside, Ochako couldn't contain the happy grin on her face as she wandered through the cafeteria a large tray in her hand with over five plates stacked atop at.

A five star traditional breakfast made by the cooking hero Lunch Rush himself!

'To think for six days a week I'll get to to eat lunch like this!' Ochako mentally cheered. Usually her breakfast only consisted of a single piece of mochi with some seasoning and such added on for extra calories.

But this meal here was packed full of super extra mega nutritional power to see her through the day!

Maybe it was a bit counter productive to have a breakfast like this for lunch after Kano brought breakfast in with him this morning, but he was a foreign food otaku, and it had been a while since she had nice Japanese breakfast, never mind one as amazing as this!

Plus, she had a tough stomach! She had to after all due to her quirk…and other things.

Speaking of-

Ochako cast a glance over to the long line leading up to the kitchen where Lunch Rush was and rolled her eyes as she found Kano still standing in front of the lunch order machine.

Quite a few people were giving him the stink eye, he'd been there for over five minutes now after all! Not that he seemed to care at all.

'He's probably looking for foreign stuff he wants to try out.' Ochako rolled her eyes. While she would have preferred to sit with him, she couldn't just wait around.

"Uraraka-san!"

Turning at the sound of her name being called, Ochako saw the one to call her name was Deku, who was sitting at a table with Iida.

Shrugging, Ochako decided to sit with them and made her way over, "Hey guys." she greeted them with a bright smile and set her tray of food down.

Kano would probably come join them anyway if she was sitting with his brother.

Kano drummed his fingers on the order counter as he waited for his food. A rather substantial amount that had taken him a full five minutes to order.

People were still grumbling behind him.

Yet none seemed to have had the stones to actually confront him about it face to face, just mumbling or grumbling behind his back. So, he ignored them.

They just had to deal with it.

Besides, it was simply a draw back from his quirk. Oh, he hadn't lied to Ochako when he told her that if he used his quirk a lot on an empty stomach it made him nauseous, and because of how hard he worked out and trained himself every day, he needed a rather large, protein heavy diet.

He'd simply left out the fact that his quirk, was always active passively. It may not look like it to anyone looking at him, but his quirk was active twenty four hours a day. It caused his body to, more or less vibrate.

It was another reason to hate his quirk. For the longest time, he could barely sleep when he was younger because of it, and holding things in his hands? Like a glass of water?

No shot. The water would slosh right out, or the glass would sometimes outright break in his hands.

It was only thanks to his mentor, Aizawa-sensei drilling the basics of his combat style into him at a young age to help him, that he overcame it bit by bit. His mentor, had incredible muscle control, the slightest twitch allowed him to control his personal capture tools for villains, his steel wire cloth scarves fashioned from steel wire and carbon alloy nanofibers.

With it as a basis, he'd trained and trained and trained for years, until he could more or less, control every muscle in his body. He'd gotten to the point, where he now subconsciously, stopped the muscles in his body from vibrating.

Camie had been very appreciative of that little passive vibrating effect his quirk gave him, when he stopped suppressing it, especially when used through his tongue, 'Heh.' he smirked a little, before quickly putting it out of mind.

The point was though, because he was constantly doing that even subconsciously, with his quirk activate, his body burned through calories absurdly fast.

Between that, his intense training and what was needed for his muscle growth and such, he usually ate more than ten thousand calories worth of food a day.

A very expensive diet, and it had put quite a strain on their budget growing up before he started making money on Wetube, 'And yet mom never complained about how much had to be spent on just food for me.' Kano mused wistfully, leaning on the service counter as he waited.

….Money, huh?

He withheld a sigh, now that he'd seen massive growth on his wetube channel, that was still steadily growing, he was beginning to make more and more.

He was at five million yen a month right now, but it would grow too soon, especially since he was looking to more lines of merch.

Maybe it was about time to see about pursuing some of his other ideas? He wanted to buy up some properties to rent.

He'd had his eye on some caravan homes at a holiday park his mother had took him and his brother to visit a few times, they were surprisingly cheap.

And…

His eyes slid over the the massive launch hall, searching for that familiar bob of brown hair, but not seeing it.

Ochako had told him how, the apartment building she was living in, had been built by her fathers construction company, and she was being allowed to live there for free for now, but had surprisingly also known the prices of the apartments.

He had the money to purchase quite a few. Especially since there was a giant villain attack in that area that apparently knocked the old apartment building over, so the property was cheaper than usual.

Three to four million yen they went for.

He could buy one more or less each month. Especially since, heroes got massive tax cuts, if not were fully exempt from them in some cases, like in the case of land or residences.

'I could rent them out, a hundred thousand yen a month easy.' he mused, but that many properties? With his training and schooling, he'd be far too busy to oversee them.

…He'd need to hire somebody to do that for him. A manager or agent maybe? Most high tier heroes had one to handle their day to day affairs. He'd just be taking care of it in advance, a little early.

He'd have his provisional hero license by next year anyway. There was no doubt about that.

He was pulled from his thoughts when Lunch Rush made his way over, carrying a crate stacked to the limit with multiples plates. Three bowls of rice, two salmon, five eggs, four steaks and of course with a side of pineapple rings and a protein bar.

White chocolate flavour, Missile brand.

One he'd chosen specifically because Missile had actually reached out to him not long ago, offering to sponsor a few of his videos.

He wanted to try them out a little bit first before he got back to them. "You sure you'll be able to eat all this kid?" Lunch Rush asked.

"Easily, thanks a bunch Lunch Rush." Kano grinned as he took the tray, resisting the urge to lick his lips at the delicious smell coming from the food.

"Alright, well enjoy, it was quite the unusual order, I'll be looking forward to seeing what you order tomorrow." Lunch Rush laughed a bit in reply.

He thanked Lunch Rush again, before taking his tray of food and leaving the line. He paused looking over the cafeteria, searching for Ochako.

He could have sat with Kirishima or Mineta, but well, Ochako was far cuter than either of them.

It took a minute before he spotted her, and then he frowned. She was sitting with Iida and…his brother.

'They did seem to know each other already.' he remembered, his brother had saved her from one of those huge zero pointers during the entrance exams.

A squirming feeling wriggled in his gut, before he huffed and looked away, looking for somewhere else to sit.

His mood a little soured, but he ignored that too before his eyes landed on Kirishima, sitting at a table with Mineta.

That would do.

He could always talk to Ochako more later.

"Didn't think I'd catch you two together again," Kano greeted them both with a grin as he slid into the side of the table opposite them, "Keeping Mineta out of trouble, Kirishima?"

"Oh, King!" Kirishima's eyes lit up, before eyeing the massive tray of food he set down, "Damn, that's a manly meal if I've ever seen one."

"He wishes he could contain the manliness that is me," Mineta scoffed, before grinning at Kano, "Weird you're over here with us though King. Not that I'm complaining, but I figured you'd be sitting with Uraraka, and I wouldn't blame you."

Kano's eyes darted across the cafeteria to where she was sitting on instinct, before looking back at them and shrugging, "I can talk to her whenever, I'll be driving her home every day from now on after all," he replied, and put her and his brother out of mind, "And I wanted to get to know you guys better anyway. We usually only talked online, and now we're here at U.A together, that's pretty hype right?"

Kirishima followed where his gaze had went, and frowned ever so briefly, before just grinning back, catching on that it wasn't a subject he wanted to talk about right now, "For sure, you've no idea how hyped I've been since I saw the video of your entrance exam and realised you'd be coming here with me too," he thumbed his nose, "Sorry as I am to hear about you breaking up with Camie and having to come here, I'm still super glad I get to train alongside you bro!"

"i still woulda hopped over with Uraraka in your place," Mineta smirked sleazily, hopping up onto his seat on wo feet so he could be eye level with the sitting Kano, "She's not Camie tier at all, but King you are a chick magnet!"

He rolled his eyes, "As a certified expert on Camie, I can tell you Ochako is just as hot in her own way," Kano replied, he after all had saw her out of her uniform and in casual clothes just last night, and she filled out the casual shorts she wore deliciously, "Anyway, so about hitting up tha-"

He was interrupted, "Hey hey," an attractive older girl, with extremely long periwinkle blue hair hopped over, a motion that did some very interesting things to her chest that could have rivalled Camie's in size easily. Tray of food hand, the girl beamed at him and pointed at the empty seat beside him, "D'ya mind if I sit here? My friends over there doubled up and there wasn't anywhere left for me to sit with them." she said, pointing to the table in front of them, where a tall broad shouldered blonde, sat with a pale, slender dark haired guy, and two girls, one an orangette with short hair, the other a thin brunette.

Kano raised an eyebrow, before shrugging and waving his hand at the empty seat, "Feel free."

"Thanks a bunch!" the blue haired girl chirped, sliding in beside him and sitting her own tray down, "I'm Nejire, Nejire Hado by the way, nice to meet ya. I've not seen you three around before? Though, not like I'm an expert and know everybody ya know? But you guys kinda stand out. So are you firsties? Just starting out? Oh if you are, feel free to ask me anything you don't know!"

Kano blinked, taking a second to digest the babble of word vomit spewed by the girl. She was quite the motormouth.

"See, chick magnet!" Mineta laughed, pumping his fist, before eagerly leaning forward, eyes leering at the older girls chest, "I for one would love to know what your cup si-"

Kirishima's fist slammed into the top of Mineta's head, depositing him back into his seat, "What he meant to say is, nice to meet you Hado-senpai, I'm Kirishima, he's Mineta," he said, before gesturing to Kano, "And this is Kano."

"Yeah, nice to meet you Nejire," Kano replied, not bothering with any honorifics, which made her smile widen a bit more as she looked at him, pretty blue eyes practically sparkling, "Nothing really comes to mind at the moment, but I'll definitely keep that offer in mind if anything comes up."

"Sounds good, sounds good!" she flashed him a thumbs up, "So are you first years? Are ya?"

Kano laughed, "We are yeah, second day here, we're from Class 1A if you ever want to find us."

"Nice nice, 1A isn't that Eraserhead's class? Eesh, you're in for a tough time!" Nejire leaned over, bumping her shoulder with his, "But woah, look at how much food is on your tray! Is that because of your quirk? Or is it just cuz you're all muscly? Like wow, you're just holding a fork, but your bicep still looks nearly as big as my head!" she asked, poking his bicep.

"Something like that, a bit of both really." Kano replied, eyebrow raised, but unable to stop himself from smiling in amusement.

Nejire was one bubbly, energetic and curious girl. She almost reminded him of Camie a bit, they both had their own way of expressing themselves they didn't seem ashamed of at all.

Granted, Camie's was more due to her rather odd way of articulation. The first time she'd called him her personal beefy rizz cake he'd almost walked into a wall, or well, through it.

"Oooh, now you've got me curious," Nejire giggled, "What's your quirk? Come on, tell me, tell me."

"…Huh, I feel like we've been forgotten." Kirishima snorted from the other side of them.

While Mineta just pouted and shrugged, petulantly crossing his arms as he eyed the blue haired babe practically hanging all over Kano jealously, "That's the power of the Conquering King's Rizz, to see it in person like this, I can't deny what a giga chad he is," he nodded sagely, "Damn he's sexy."

Kirishima gave him an odd look, before rolling his eyes and continuing eating.

'I can hear you, you know.' Kano resisted the urge to roll his eyes at Mineta's continued weirdness as he replied to the girl beside him, "My quirk is called Power Quake, and it lets me generate well, earthquakes among other things," he held a finger up like he did before with Ochako when he first met her, and the air rippled as a small sphere of white power shimmered into view around it, "It's super destructive, so I can only show you it like this for now."

"Oh wow, pretty!" Nejire bounced in her seat, eyes on the sphere around his finger, "And wow, that's powerful, I can feel the pulsing waves through the air just from this little bit! Wowee! Ah, it reminds me of my quirk a little bit."

Nejire kept her wide eyes glued to the shimmering quake sphere, practically vibrating in place. "It's sooo pretty! Like, super dangerous but kinda mesmerizing, y'know?" she giggled, then suddenly perked up, fingers tapping against the table excitedly.

"Hey, actually I know! Wanna see mine too it's actually kinda similar to yours? It's not as rumbly, but it's got waves too!" Without waiting for a proper answer, she lifted one hand casually, palm open toward the side of her. A soft hum filled the air as a glowing golden spiral began to swirl around her hand, the light bright and warm, flickering like sunlight.

"See? Wave Motion I call it! I convert my energy into spirally shockwaves—ta-daa~!" she grinned, letting the glowing spiral flick outward harmlessly around her, before it died away.

'Huh…' Kano stared for a moment, before grinning widely, "That's awesome!" he replied excitedly, "I'd love to see you use it for real sometime." He'd never actually met someone before with a quirk even remotely similar to his own. And that control she had!

Incredible, she just let it go and dissipate as if it were nothing. He had nowhere near that kind of control with his own!

"Sure, sure sounds fun!" Nejire clapped her hands, before reaching into her pocket and pulling out a blue smartphone covered in various stickers from flowers, to unicorns, to even a rainbow…and one odd buster sword sword sticker too beside a skull sticker, "Give me your number, we can hang out some time."
