"Vomi?"

"Yes?" She asked as she looked at me with a happy smile and I scratched the back of my head as I crossed my arms while watching at where Trunks was busy carving out the heart of the cyborg whose brain Vomi had destroyed with her opening blow.

"What…exactly…am I looking at here?" I asked as I looked at the numerous hearts floating in the air and I swear she looked almost tooexcited to explain.

"I'm glad you asked! When my opponent took a bite of a fruit that I found at the tree's top branches and while I do not think that they are ripened yet, I have been doing some experiments on that."

"Really? Well, let me hear the results."

"Well, the first thing we found out is that the energy from the fruit itself…matches the bio-energy one could find inside the planet."

"Is that any different from most plants?" I asked and she rolled her eyes as Trunks snorted.

"No, what she means is that the ki itself of the plant is the same as that of the planet. Every other plant and/ or tree has its own distinctive ki with slight different to make it unique from the other plants around it. This tree as well as its fruits, however, appear to be a direct extension of the planet itself."

"So, you're saying that the tree absorbs the ki and nutrients from the planet it inhabits…and then concentrates that energy into the shape of a fruit?" I asked, faintly remembering something like that happening in the movie.

"Exactly. However, what I think you'll find more surprising is the fact that the tree itself…it's only half its fully grown size, meaning…"

"That it has only absorbed half of the planet's energy." I muttered as I looked at the gigantic tree in front of me, surprised at the fact that the tree with roots spanning across kilometers of land is only half grown.

"Wait, what of the Namekians inside? If the tree was absorbing energy, then shouldn't they all be dead?"

"They along with everything living within the span of its roots. However, I have a theory that the tree itself only absorbs the energy from the planet and when it's fully drained, then it absorbs the energy from the fauna and other living sapient beings on said planet."

"So, they used the energy of the planet to gain a temporary boost to their powers? That would explain why they were nearly able to take us on." I muttered and Vomi nodded as we turned back to Trunks.

"However, the fruits have some side-effects as we found out from our dissections of the enemies. The first is that their bodies have experienced a tremendous surge in growth and adrenaline hormones, resulting in their body mass increasing and the boost in physical strength. The second is that the energy of the planet itself flows through their bodies, resulting in a powerful boost in their ki. The final is what happens to their hearts."

"What happened to their hearts?" I asked and Vomi decided to show me as she pulled a heart closer, letting me look down at it before I frowned as I saw the slight darkening around the top parts of it as well as the fact that it was nearly triple the size of what the average heart is supposed to be.

"It appears that the rapid increase in blood flow and strength required a bigger heart so the organ itself was forced to grow to compensate for this."

"And is this effect permanent?"

"From what we have seem, the effect is temporary as long as the person has not eaten more than one full fruit all at once. The heart of the alien that I fought ate a small piece of the fruit and his heart grew temporarily before it shrunk down. However, the alien that Trunks fought ate a full fruit and his heart has not shrunken down in the slightest."

"I see. Could the effect be from the fact that their hearts are no longer beating that they have not shrunken down?" I asked and they looked at each other before Vomi frowned.

"That…is also a possible theory. It could also possibly stem from the fact that they may not have undergone the intense ki training that we did."

"True as well. There are far too many variables and not much concrete information to work with."

"We could…get some information?" She asked more than said and I rose an eyebrow as she held up the small fruit she had.

While it was not nearly the size of the ones Turles' men had, it was still the size of a large apple and I caught it as she threw it at me, feeling the energy from it before surprising Trunks as I threw it at him.

"Here you go."

"Wait, you don't want it?" He asked and I snorted as I shook my head and floated down with them.

"No thank you. While the immediate power boost would be good, I do not need it as much as you guys do. Besides, the changes would be far more noticeable on you than it would be on me."

"…Is this because I'm weaker than you?" I just grinned at his question and he rolled his eyes while I chuckled and turned to Vomi.

"Have you gotten all the fruits you've needed from the tree?"

"Well, we have a dozen or so samples, but a few more would be appre…ciated…" She trailed off as I charged the Power Pole with ki and swung it while expanding it to the size of a train, slicing right through the top trunk of the tree and felling it with ease.

Raising a hand as the parts fell, I expertly unleashed a barrage of ki slashes that sliced right through the parts of the trees and pulled away dozens of fruit before obliterating everything else.

"Will that be enough?" I asked as I raised a hand, frowning a bit as I lifted the fruits up to us and she smiled before nodding happily.

"That would be perfect." She answered and I nodded as I waited until she had sealed them all in some of the many empty capsules we had before looking over at the entrance to the tree's roots right as we landed.

"Hey, Dende."

"Gohan, what was that?!" He exclaimed and I realized that my abrupt tree cutting may have not been something they would have felt too good about.

"Don't worry. We were removing the top part of the tree for its fruit. You can have some if you wish." Vomi said while holding out a couple fruit, to which Dende blinked and slowly took them.

"Thank you?"

"You're welcome! Trunks, we need to move the bodies to our lab!"

"Already on it!" Trunks shouted as he carried the bodies with them and I watched as the duo flew up to the ship where Erasa and Videl were before looking at Dende with an amused smile.

"You doing good there, Little Green?"

"…Give me a few seconds." He muttered as he levitated the fruit out of his arms and handed them over to the one warrior that had rushed out with him before looking at me.

"So, you took the top of the tree down? Does that mean it's…dead?" He asked before sighing as I smirked.

"When has something ever been that easy?"

"One can hope. So, we need to pull it out, then. Do you need help?" He asked and I placed the retracted Power Pole back in my ear whilst looking at the colossal stump in front of me.

"I don't believe so, but I would like it if there was at least a few hundred kilometers between the tree roots and everyone else."

"Easily done. Naga, go tell everyone that we're flying to the secret village to the south-west of here."

"Will do, Grand Elder."

"I still can't believe the little dude I helped all those years ago is now a Grand Elder. Man, time really does fly." I muttered as I looked at him and smirked as he rolled his eyes while crossing his arms.

"We both know growing up is simply one part of the life. Besides, I seem to remember a certain Saiyan boy that rushed head first at Frieza and got pummelled for it."

"Ah yes, the good ol' days where my neck got broken a few times and you died. Those were fun." I spoke with a nostalgic smile and laughed as he gave me a side-eye before shaking his head.

"You have grown up to be more of a crazy man than Vegeta."

"That's not true. Vegeta is still worse and you know it."

"…That is true. Anyway, you need to get this stump out so I can give you guys the Dragon Balls."

"I forgot to ask. Where exactly are the balls?" I asked as I looked at him and he simply smirked before placing one fist on top of the other.

"Tree. Balls." He said while gesturing to the top and bottom fist respectively, making my eyes widen as I looked at the stump and back at him.

"…You are one devious little genius, eh Little Green?"

"You're never going to stop calling me that, are you?"

"So…how exactly are you going to get this out?" Videl asked as she stood besides me, Erasa standing on my opposite side as the three of us stood in front of the stump while looking at it.

"I…have two or three ideas. However, all three require you two to not be here." I said and Erasa rolled her eyes as she made me lean down to her before giving me a quick kiss.

"Fine, come on Videl~"

"In a sec~" Videl called out as I turned to her and I smiled as she blushed before I leaned down and gave her a soft kiss.

"…I'm never going to get tired of that." She muttered and I chuckled as the two of them quickly left, turning back to the large stump before taking out the Power Pole and letting it float besides me.

"Well, hopefully this works." I muttered as I created a bright white sun above my hand, taking aim before throwing it high up past the mountains and near the sky.

"Power Ball: Expand!" I grunted as I unclenched my fist and the white sun quadrupled in size, but this time, I smiled and embraced the change as I looked directly at the sun.

I was also thankful for the fact that I was wearing the Turtle Hermit gi variant of Bulma's Battle Armour as I felt it growing along with my body, quickly growing in size to nearly half that of the tree stump before rapidly expanding the Power Pole to double my size in length, but keeping its width the same.

"Alright, just a bit of easy work here." My muttering was enough to make even the ground rumble as I fuelled the Power Pole with ki before stabbing it at a slight angle into the ground under the tree, taking a deep breath as I steadied myself.

"One…two…Three!" With a grunt and a rapid movement upwards, the Power Pole expanded outwards to nearly my entire width in diameter as it cleanly ripped up the bottom of the tree.

Not done yet, I gritted my teeth as I continued on with the motion and ripped it entirely out of the ground, quickly retracting the Power Pole while diving in under the airborne tree before kicking it high up into the sky.

"Mouth Beam!" It may have sounded corny, but I've always wanted to shout that as a beam of deep scarlet energy fired from my mouth and completely eradicated the tree, not even leaving ashes behind as all traces of it were completely gone.

Swinging my beam to my Power Ball while cutting it off the moment it blasted right through it, I took a deep breath and deactivated the transformation, finding myself lying on the ground a few seconds later and feeling as if I just flew a quick thousand laps around the continent.

"Hah…Man, I really need to train more with the Ape form and less with the Super Saiyan 4 form." I muttered as I stood up, dusting myself off and shrinking the Power Pole even further down to fit in my ear.

"Do I even want to know?" I asked as Vomi and the girls landed in front of me, all three of them simply looking at the passed out Trunks lying on the floor where Erasa had dropped him before the Android spoke up.

"He may have looked at the orb so we may have needed to knock him out."

"Wonderful. Well, at least the tree is now gone." I muttered as I looked over when I sensed Dende and his Namekians getting closer, the Namekian Grand Elder looking pleased while the few dozen Namekians with him looked shocked to see the tree completely gone.

"I tried my best to make sure there was no lasting damage, but as for the mountains and lakes that were here…" I trailed off with a sheepish smile as I looked at the mountains crumbling in on itself as well as the very shallow lakes.

"That is quite alright. We'll use one of the wishes to restore the planet back to how it was if that's okay?"

"Dende, it's your Dragon Balls. We'd be more than thankful with two wishes." I spoke with a smile and he chuckled before nodding and raising a hand up.

"Pakuru Piipa Lakaar Lo…Pakuru Piipa Lakaar Lo…Pakuru Piipa Lakaar Lo!" With his eyes glowing, seven rays of light shot out from the ground before seven spheres of orange-gold light shot up into the sky and towards them.

"Namekian magic?" I asked and he nodded as they floated in front of him, the Grand Elder letting them drop to the floor before taking a deep breath and raising his other arm as well.

"Great Porunga, Dragon of Dreams, come forth and grant our desires!" Dende chanted in Namekian and the orbs glowed as I took a few steps back while the others looked confused as I stood behind them all.

"Urgh, why did I miss?" Trunks groaned as he woke up and I chuckled as I helped him to his feet before patting him on the back.

"You better wake up, buddy. You're not going to want to miss this."

"What do you…mean…?" Trunks trailed off as he stared in shock at the seven orbs glowing eerily, pulsating and radiating light periodically before the light vanished.

The next second, a pillar of light shot up from all seven orbs and fused into one giant ray of light, the light itself twisting and warping in the air as dark clouds hid the suns from view.

As the light faded, I grinned at their awe while hiding my own at the gargantuan dragon floating in the air above us, his eyes glowing with a deep scarlet red glow while his upper body was like that of a very very muscular human.

"I am the great Porunga, Dragon of Dreams and He Who Grants Desires. What is your first wish?" I didn't understand a single word the Dragon said, but I just looked at Dende as he cleared his throat and spoke.

"Great Porunga, restore the planet to how it was before the tree was planted here and drained the life from New Namek."

"As you wish." Porunga rumbled and I had to admit that I was very surprised when I saw the planet shifting back into place within the blink of an eye.

Plants and trees went from seeds and seedlings to fully grown, grass filled the vast lands and the mountains reconstructed themselves back up to their mighty size as the lakes filled up once more.

'…I may have underestimated just how powerful these things are.' I thought as I looked at Dende, who looked pleased before looking at me with a happy smile.

"Thank you. So, what's your first wish?" He asked as I walked closer and I scratched the back of my head before speaking.

"Restore the planet Earth to how it was before the Androids laid waste to it but do not resurrect anyone that has died in that timeframe or before it." I spoke and he nodded before turning to Porunga, repeating the order in Namekian.

"As you wish." The Dragon rumbled something in Namekian and I watched as his eyes glowed once more, golden energy shimmering around his body before it slowly faded away.

"It is done."

"It is done." Dende spoke and I blinked at how quick it was before shrugging as I looked at the others.

"Anyone got a wish?"

"Nope./ Not really./ No./ I feel like I wanna work for my power now." Erasa, Vomi, Videl and Trunks answered respectively and I nodded as I went to say that we're done before I stopped as I remembered a little something that I've been thinking about.

It is quite the risky wish, but if I can do this and I do it right, Earth will get a tremendously powerful boost to our overall strength.

'The only issue is whether or not I feel like doing so. …I think it would work best.' I thought as I leaned closer and softly whispered my wish to Dende, whose eyes widened as he heard it while looking at me in shock.

"You sure? That's a pretty dangerous wish."

"I know, but it is a high-risk, high-reward wish." I answered and he looked at me before smiling and nodding.

"You have a good sense of judgement so I shall trust you. Great Porunga…" Dende repeated my wish to the Dragon and I smiled as I watched the Dragon rumble in response.

"As you wish." Porunga's eyes glowed as he spoke and a bright golden glow covered his body, a tendril of the same orange glow coming from the Dragon Balls and wrapping around me before it faded away a few seconds later.

'Oh, this is about to be glorious.'
