Rose is a simple village girl that lives with her brother Will when all that changes when her village is attacked by bandits they are rescued by the prince of Camelot and his crew. After her brothers death she ends up in Camelot but there is a lot to come for the young one. Follows the series from the moment of truth (I don't own Merlin).

In the past, Merlin must somehow connect with a young king who still hates an illegal magic, to duplicate the spell and return both his selves to the proper times...

A roar of pain, cut off from reaching its full bellow as Arthur twisted the sword in deeper, ending the beast's miserable life. It dropped to the floor at Merlin's feet and he watched with a detached sort of curiosity as the animal that had been moments away from ending his life now lay still. (Set in s02e04. Ever since being 'awarded' the 'great honour' of being Prince Arthur's manservant, Merlin has struggled with the job. Not only was it working from dawn to dusk, seven days a week, it was taking care of a Royal prat. With a large amount of that work alone, just the two of them, in his chambers… (Methur AU).

In a parallel 2020, Prince Arthur moves out of home with flatmate Merlin when a mysterious plague spreads across the land and sends Camelot into a lockdown. Uther is quick to blame sorcerers, Arthur needs to decide if he supports the king, and being in lockdown with the prince means Merlin really needs to keep his magic a secret.

Stuck in a cave after a storm scared away their horses, one of Merlin's many secrets comes to light...
