What if things had gone just a touch differently when Arthur, Lancelot, and Merlin faced off with the Cailleach?

What if Merlin had a sister that would not only help Merlin with his destiny but also have a destiny of her own? What will happen when she encounters a certain arrogant prince? Will he be able to penetrate through the walls she's encased around her heart? Will she be able to rewrite fate and stop the inevitable or will everything play out as it did despite her intervention?

Mary might be the owner of the Rising Sun and glad to have paying customers, but listening to the knights, the prat prince, and his long-suffering servant was even more satisfying.

Merlin loved Arthur, didn't he? Or was that just a way of coping with everything?

Sometimes a person was just fated love someone and could nothing to stop it, no matter how hard they tried. Merlyn had to learn this the hard way. She knew Mordred's destiny and the tragedy he would bring to her life, but it did nothing to deter her feelings. Or his. Fem!Merlin. Merdred.

Gwen remembered how her mother would cry out in pain when the headaches returned. When Morgana started having them, Gwen was so very worried.

Arthur and the knights depart for King Bors' conference in Paris. Gaius and Merlin go to Rothsborough to deal with a sickness. Gawain and Gwen are sent north by Agravaine on his affairs. In the midst of these departures, Morgana and Agravaine scheme to take Camelot. Morgana sets a trap for Merlin. Meanwhile, Princess Mithian and Prince Accolon stumble into the affair. r & r!

A newly healed and freshly motivated Arthur isn't the only one facing an overhauled view of the world around him. Uther decides it's time to take Arthur with him on his annual visit to some of the outlying villages, things don't always go as planned.

In which Arthur knows about Merlin's magic and has been dragged into his shenanigans as he desperately tries to protect Camelot against the evil sorcerer of the week. Unfortunately, this means that Arthur is now privy to Merlin's...less-than-convenient midnight escapades. He's not having a good time. [canon divergence, bamf!merlin, complete crack]

Merlin just couldn't get the hang of those stupid hand signals that Arthur kept using on the hunt. He suspected that Arthur was making them up as they went along.

When Merlin and Arthur came back covered in leeches, Gaius was pleased. He didn't have to order any more for quite a while.

In his few thousand years of living, Merlin never thought he would run into Uther Pendragon's child in the woods or that said child would want to live with him. What could go wrong?

“… you distract them”, but how. Maybe Merlin had another idea.

There were twigs breaking underfoot and sounds of shouting all around but it was so unclear how close anyone actually was to them. In the end though, it didn't matter how close the knights were. Arrows can hit their target from a great distance when released from a crossbow. (Set in s02e03. Merlin takes an arrow to the side while trying to help Morgana escape.)

Morgana watched as Gwen fell in love with Lancelot. How dare she, when Gwen was hers and always would be.
