Hello. Just a note that I'm going to be releasing Chapters every 2 weeks to try and maintain a more consistent upload schedule than I have been. Hope you enjoy the Chapter

The crowd seemed quieter now. It seemed to be more focused, like everyone in it was holding their breath in anticipation.
She knew why. Even though she'd been travelling a lot around the world she'd still managed to find time to look into her old companions journeys.
Shauna had managed to make it even further, reaching the Master Class final, only losing to Aria by the smallest margin.
She knew that Clemont had been busy, there had been many articles about various inventions, all of which worked perfectly, no hint of his previous failures in sight, and she'd seen rumours, later confirmed to be true of his relationship with Korrina.
Bonnie had started off on her journey with Dedenne and Squishy, who had found her on the way to Violas gym in Santalune City and the trio had managed to get as far as Semi finalists in Kalos. She knew that Bonnie had left to go to another region, like Ash had when he was travelling but didn't know what had happened since.
Trevor and Tierno followed very similar paths as one another, continuing to travel Kalos, working partially alongside Professor Sycamore and competing in the Battle Chateau. It had been Trevor's Charizard who had finally managed to take out Squishy in Bonnie's first League but both had lost to Alain, who had also competed to win another chance at challenging the Elite Four, Tierno losing in the other Semi Final match and Trevor falling in the Finals with a face off between their Mega Charizards.
In fact before her they both stood, listening carefully as the Referee explained the rules of the double battle. They would both be using only one of their Pokémon and she would be using 2 of hers and the match would be won when both Pokémon on one side were knocked out.
After the rules had been explained they all called out their Pokémon, Blastoise and Charizard and she called out Delphox and Vileplume.
The referee began the match and before she could call a move, both Trevor and Tierno did.
"Water tail on Delphox"
"Heat Wave on Vileplume"
"Block the Water tail with a Petal Dance and reinforce it with a Psychic"
The petals flew away from Vileplume towards the Water Tail and Heat Wave. The water tail hit first, the two attacks meeting, the super effective Petal Dance winning as it pushed the Aqua Tail back until the Heat Wave caused the water to begin to bubble and just before it could fully get through the Petal Dance the Psychic shot up the wall of petals, freezing them in stasis as the Heat Wave and Water Tail sputtered out.
"Don't worry Blastoise, let's break through that barrier with a Rapid Spin"
"Help with getting through the Psychic by using a Shadow Claw, Charizard"
Blastoise shrunk into it's shell with a spin, shooting towards the makeshift barrier as Charizard launched itself forward, using its wings to pick up speed, its hand enveloped in a crackling purple glow.
When they both hit the barrier it exploded into petals, which covered the entire field, making it impossible for both sides to see their Pokémon.
"Great job you two. Keep up the pace with a Poison Powder and Future Sight.", She said, her hand outstretched slightly to her left, where her duo of Pokémon had moved.
The Poison Powder shot where Charizard and Blastoise were stood but Trevor and Tierno both called for pledge moves, with Fire and Water Pledge, the resulting in most of the still floating petals to be knocked to the ground, as well as stopping the oncoming Poison Powder and small rainbows to glow through the air near the two Kanto starters.
"Ok Blastoise use Earthquake to disturb their tempo."
"Wait till Vileplume is off balance then use Sky Drop"
Sharp tremors hit the field as Charizard took off into the sky. Whilst Delphox managed to keep her footing, Vileplume wasn't as lucky, slightly stumbling.
She grimaced as Charizard took the opportunity and grabbed Vileplume by her head, lifting her higher and higher into the air.
Slightly panicked, she called for a stun pore, which managed to hit Charizard straight in the face who continued upwards ignoring the small flashes of electric that shot through it, even if it was at a much slower rate than before.
As she turned her attention back to Delphox she noticed Blastoise preparing an attack but as she began to call for a dodge she saw Vileplume begin to fall, Charizard, heading straight at her with a Flame Charge.
"You can take the attack Delphox, catch Vileplume with Psychic and take her to safety before Charizard hits her"
Delphox stood her ground and began to concentrate on Vileplume, managing to move her to the side as Charizard barreled past, moving too fast to pull up and slamming into the ground.
With Vileplume safe, Delphox moved to dodge Blastoises attack, which she had identified as a scald put couldn't escape the attack, which struck her on the side, the burning water inflicting a burn as she was thrown to the ground.
Trevor and Tierno high fived, celebrating the seemingly significant damage they'd just dealt.
"Don't worry Delphox, let's just get back up like we always do. Fight back with a Flame Charge of your own. Vileplume lets charge up a Solar Beam for after."
Her Pokémon grunted in response, Delphox charging towards Charizard in apparent revenge for the damage he could've caused Vileplume.
Just before Delphox collided with Charizard, she called for Thunder Punch and Delphox slid under Charizards legs, who had moved to brace for the Flame Charge, and shot a Thunder Punch at Charizard between its wings, using the momentum of the slide to kick off Charizard's back towards Blastoise who stood closer to the Kalos duo.
Before Delphox could also strike Blastoise, Tierno asked for a counter with Brine and the two attacks collided, pushing both Pokémon backwards, Blastoise back to Trevor and Tierno's feet and Delphox back next to Charizard, who was on the ground, still conscious but in pain from the super effective damage.
Trevor and Tierno looked at each other on suprise at Delphox display of Strength and Determination and nodded to each other, both having a hand moving to their respective key stones
"Okay Blastoise. Let's get into our most familiar rhythm, let our wills become one. Mega Evolve."
"Let's do this Charizard. We've come a long way from starting out. Let's put our experience to use and win this battle. Mega Evolve"
Both Charizard and Blastoise were enveloped by the bright light of mega evolution as the two began to change, into Mega Charizard Y and Mega Blastoise.
Whilst the two were mega evolving, Serena called for a Sunny Day and Synthesis, Delphox retreating to Vileplume to make sure she was okay.
"Okay Blastoise, use your new powers to hit Delphox with a stronger Water Pulse."
"You use Heat wave to weaken them too Charizard"
The Heat wave repeatedly rolled out, hitting Delphox who stood in front of it, shielding Vileplume as it regained health.
Just before the Water pulse hit Vileplume jumped in front of Delphox, preventing the super effective attack from hitting and instead being resisted by Vileplume's Grass typing.
"Let's get into our most close Charizard. Hit Vileplume with your strongest Flare Blitz."
"You too Blastoise, let's hit them both with a Rapid Spin."
As both Pokémon approached hers she calmed herself down, waiting patiently alongside her Pokémon for the right timing.
'Wait till they get close enough then unleash your own Flare Blitz at point blank', Serena told Delphox through their Psychic connection, 'and after that a Solar Beam straight at Blastoise ok' she said to Vileplume. Both her Pokémon prepared, Vileplume slowly using the power of the Sunny Day to quickly charge a stronger Solar Beam.
When both Blastoise and Charizard were within 5 metres of her, Delphox became engulfed by large flames, more than twice the size of Charizard's, and launched herself towards the Mega Evolved Pokémon.
The large flames ripped through the duo as they collided, Delphox easily pushing both of the opposing Pokémon back, gradually at first but speeding up as Blastoise slowed spinning, the force of the larger fire type attack holding it in stasis and as Charizard's own Flare Blitz died down, only serving to add to the power of Delphox's Flare Blitz. The move stopped, a large explosion forcing both of the Pokémon to the ground, and Delphox, halfway across the battlefield where the large amount of energy Vileplume was evident as a large beam of sun energy covered the Mega Evolved Pokémon as the entire crowd fell into silence, both by the shock and awe of the pair of strong attacks.
It died out after 10 full seconds of relentlessly barraging Blastoise and Charizard.
The referee only had to glance into the large crater before announcing both Pokémon as knocked out and her as the winner of both the round and match.
She looked at Delphox and Vileplume with pride at their overwhelming victory.
She walked up to Trevor and Tierno to thank them to the match, the pair congratulating her, with Trevor commenting on her Delphox and Vileplume who supposedly had rare features as the younger Grass type dragged along the Fire type in celebration. She motioned to the Pokémon who moved back to her as she returned them to their Pokéballs, which she placed back on her Pokéball belt.
When she returned to her waiting room she called out all of her Pokémon who together celebrated the team's win.
When she left the waiting room she came face to face with none but Shauna who began to ask her about Vileplume and her Solar Beam and if she could teach her how she could teach Venusaur to do one as strong as that for use in Performances.
She just stood there as Shauna rambled about her win, unsure what to do with her old friend, whether to help her or try to protect her secret.
After a couple of minutes Shauna seemed to notice Serena's stiffness, and began to apologise greatly for coming on strong.
She gave out a small laugh and assured her that it was ok and that she wasn't used to someone being so enthusiastic about her teaching them and that she'd be happy to help and that she'd be free tomorrow morning and would be perfectly happy to help her.
To say Ash was nervous would be an understatement. The close look that Gladion, the current Alolan Champion himself was giving him would be enough to scare anyone.
