Author's Note: I'm not acting like Holly has already been through labor because it doesn't make sense, she was in a coma. I will probably deal with that later on in this story. We shall see. Thanks for those who are reading!
Holly had went through hours of labor at her mother's new place. They couldn't risk it getting out she was having a baby so they decided they had to do it this way. When it seemed unbearable she thought of Robert, thought of how he would be helping her through it. Now she was laying on a bed with a cleaned up newborn resting on her, happily. Every time her mother tried to move the baby she would start fussing.
"You know I was waiting to get to see you, to meet you. It was worth it." She whispered to the baby, rubbing her back gently. "Your daddy would have absolutely loved this, loved you. He would have been ready to show you to the world while trying to take care of me." Holly wiped tears from her eyes with her free hand. "I wish I could give you that. I wish I could be here with you but I have to protect you. I must. If anyone hurt you..."
Catherine walked back in. "She's so beautiful. Have you thought of a name yet?" She asked as she sat down.
"I know the names Robert and I talked about, when we lived in Australia we talked about them even more. We really liked the name Sasha. I know I can't give her the name Scorpio but I was thinking Sasha Rebecca." Holly looked over at her mom, so much pain in her eyes.
Catherine took Holly's free hand in hers. "I think that is a beautiful name. I didn't know Robert but I'm sure he would have loved it. What's Rebecca for?" She asked.
"It's special to Robert and me. I will tell you about it later, right now I just want to stay in his moment with Sasha for as long as I can." Holly was so in love with her baby girl, she was everything her and Robert had ever dreamt of.
"She's certainly attached to you. Her Nonna can even get in a cuddle." Catherine was happy she got to see this. She was robbed with a lot from Holly.
"I know she's not going to always be, I can't be here with her all the time and I wish I could. I just want her to be safe and feel very loved. I don't want her to ever want for anything or have her heart broken." Holly just wanted to protect her child, the last piece of her and Robert.
"She will know you love her, you're going to provide for us and I'm going to protect our girl." Catherine reassured Holly. "Do you think I can try to hold her?" She asked.
"I don't know if she will let you but go ahead." Holly told her mother.
Catherine went to take Sasha and Sasha started to fuss. "Maybe a little later."
Holly couldn't help but smile. "You know your Nonna loves you very much. That's why she is helping me."
Sasha yawned as she stayed laying on Holly.
Holly couldn't help but laugh. "Oh you think you're tired. Your mummy just went through so much to give birth to the most perfect little girl."
Robert's Location
Robert felt this overwhelming feeling of pride, he didn't know why. His life these days was nothing to be proud of besides that he was keeping his family alive. He missed them. He missed what could have been. He quickly had to get those thoughts out of his head.
