Holly had done everything she could to get back to New York before Sasha's first day of school, she got there that day but it was later in the day. Her heart hurt for letting her down.

Catherine tried to cheer her daughter up. She showed her pictures of Sasha and art work she had made, and while it made Holly smile it also made her realize everything she was missing out on.

"Mum, sometimes I wonder if I could do this. If I could be a full-time mother to Sasha and be able to support us." Holly looked at her smiling five year old.

"Holly, you are so good at what you did and it's providing us with a life where we can protect Sasha. I know you wish things were different but they aren't." Catherine told her daughter.

Holly wiped a tear from her eye. She believed her mother was right, they did this to protect Sasha. That would always be the top priority. "How did she handle going to her class?"

"Like the brave little girl she is. She didn't even look back." Catherine told Holly.

Holly remembered when Robert left the penthouse originally where she and Robin were at. He didn't look back either. "She gets that from Robert."

Catherine looked at the time. "Do you want to go with me to get her?"

"I actually would like to surprise her. Could you keep me being here quiet?" Holly asked.

Catherine gave Holly a hug. "Of course. I will be back soon."

Holly went over to her bags and pulled out a couple of presents for Sasha.

About twenty minutes later Catherine and Sasha returned.

Sasha ran in the front door, excited to put her back pack up for the first time when she saw Holly. "Mommy!" She ran over to her.

Holly picked her up, holding her tight. "Oh my darling, I'm so sorry I got here late."

"I'm so glad you are here. You want to hear what I learned today?" Sasha asked.

"I would love to but first I have some presents." Holly smiled at her daughter.

"I'm going to go get Sasha a snack." Catherine wanted to give them a moment.

"I got you something extra special." Holly gave Sasha a little box.

Sasha opened it and saw a necklace of a wallaby. "Just like Ralphie!"

"Yes, I figured then he can go with you to school." Holly smiled at her little girl.

Sasha got a grin on her face as she whispered. "Want to know a secret, mommy?" She whispered.

Holly nodded. "Of course." She whispered back.

Sasha opened up her backpack and took her stuffed animal out. "I didn't want to go alone today."

Holly couldn't help but laugh. "Oh I love that! Now he can stay at home and keep Nonna company."

"And you when you come see us!" Sasha hugged her again.

Holly hugged her tightly. "Every chance I get my love, I promise."
