After the best morning Minoru could possibly ask for, Fenghuang and Ryukyu had finally finished combing through all the available security footage. The van had been spotted going down multiple streets, blending in well with regular traffic. It would eventually leave the city, where it would disappear into the unknown. Ryukyu and Fenghuang had sent word to police and Hero agencies across Japan of the make, mode, and plate of the van.
All they had to do was wait for a hit.
As such, Fenghuang, Minoru, and Izuku will head back to Inuito once they helped out Ryukyu some more, considering they used up a bit of her time. This gave Izuku and Minoru a chance to work together with Uraraka and Tsuyu out in the field. And considering both party's newfound relationship, the pairs were able to develop new team tactics and attacks with each other. But once it was time for the Heroes from Inuito to go, the whole affair was pretty bittersweet. Ryukyu, Uraraka, and Tsuyu saw their train leave the platform…
And it'll be some time until Izuku and Minoru will see them in person again.
Still, the days that followed were not all doom and gloom. They got to call or text each other whenever it was possible. The travel history of Crimson's van was slowly being revealed, narrowing their area of operations. And Izuku and Minoru's training had taken a turn for the better.
Requiring O'Sullivan and Eclipse to fight in tandem, in the alleys of Simulated Ground C, to continue providing a meaningful challenge to the Hero pair.
Minoru blocked the strike from Eclipse's wooden sword and swung his baton at his knee. But when Eclipse backed off a step, the shorter boy immediately turned and extended his staff towards O'Sullivan behind him. As such, her attempt to grapple Izuku was interrupted, allowing him to intercept Eclipse's attack, and forced them to change targets. Minoru, however, was then pulled away the moment he extended the other end of the staff, with Izuku swinging the shorter boy into Eclipse feet first like a hammer. The sudden switch up caused Eclipse to guard improperly, forcing the eggs in his hand to fall to the ground.
Izuku immediately swung Minoru back towards O'Sullivan, who at first blocked the human hammer. However, when the shorter boy felt his partner's grip loosened, he reached up the shaft with his left, and pushed out to stab O'Sullivan's side with the closest end. He then kicked off her guard, swung his staff at the opening, and struck O'Sullivan's head guard. Behind him, Minoru heard a full volley of Izuku's Air Force go off and explode against Eclipse.
Looking back for a moment, Minoru saw the cloaked man was forced to use the trick in his hat to guard against Izuku's last attack. But despite taking no damage, he was pushed quite far back from the fight.
Before either of the four could continue, Fenghuang's staff tapped the ground twice.
"Excellent work you two! This is the furthest you've pressed Masters Eclipse and O'Sullivan! And your team work has evolved splendidly! At this rate, we'll move onto the final level of your training well before you return to UA." She said, applauding the two boys. But as she clapped, Minoru and Izuku just collapsed onto the concrete beneath them, breathing ragged and heavy. Even though they had, near effortlessly, performed their maneuvers against the two masters…
Izuku and Minoru required so much mental focus and physical prowess that all the exhaustion would catch up the moment the adrenaline stopped flowing. It'll be a while before the two boys could utilize these maneuvers as effortlessly as the one's they've already developed. But when they do…
Look out world.
"Wait… That wasn't the… Masters' full strength?" Izuku asked, taking deep breaths between words.
"Hah! There's still a whole world you two don't know about! But you'll get to see it real soon, so get ready for that!" O'Sullivan said excitedly, only somewhat winded by this training session. That was probably not a good sign. If Eclipse and O'Sullivan were only partially tired compared to Minoru and Izuku… Then their full effort must only be reserved for when they REALLY need to beat someone.
"As your one warning, you both will experience the highest level we can teach a Hero. So do not think of your next several spars with us as fights against us two alone… But against all of the students and instructors who have walked through its front doors." Eclipse added, placing his shrouded hat back upon his head.
"Oh good… That includes what you learned from us…" Minoru commented tiredly. Now that the shorter boy thought about it… O'Sullivan and Eclipse would make similar mistakes at different points throughout all of their spars thus far, as if they never really learned from them. Minoru suspected it was because they were easing them into the increases in difficulty. But now they've reached this point…
Izuku and Minoru cannot expect the same openings Eclipse and O'Sullivan have given to them previously.
However, before anyone could further expand on what this new torturous training would entail, the door into the Temple opened. Vengador poked his head out of the door and flashed a dossier towards Fenghuang. That's all that needs to be said as the Radiant Wing immediately went over and began studying it. Vengador, while still sticking his head out the door, simply delivered the message the Temple had received.
"Japan's number one was asking for a Temple representative. So I told them that you'd be on the train as soon as you can. I hope that's okay, since I figured you'll turn this trip into another learning experience for Deku and Grape Shot." He said.
"Indeed I would. Excellent foresight and initiative Master Vegandor. Young Mineta, Young Midoriya, we'll be departing from the Temple once more. And if I remember correctly, we'll be reuniting with two more of your friends too, yes?" Fenghuang replied, before turning to her two students. Izuku and Minoru got up from the ground and gave a firm nod. Bakugou and Todoroki, the two strongest fighters in Class 1A and the ones who chose to work under Endeavor.
They would've no doubt gotten even stronger under the current Number One's tutelage.
"Then let's not keep our hosts waiting, the Flame Hero isn't one for tardiness."
"Yes Shifu!"
…
…
…
Like with the trip to Ryukyu, Endeavor's agency had paid for their fare and reserved 3 first class seats. And though the ride wasn't too long, it was still done in absolute comfort. And like the other times they went out, Izuku and Minoru bought some snacks as gifts to their friends and classmates. Due to Bakugou and Todoroki having broader preferences than Tokoyami, Tsuyu, and Uraraka, they simply went for a box of assorted buns.
"You sure this is the hottest curry bun they have, Shifu? I don't want Kacchan to insult your children's hard work…" Izuku asked nervously as he, Minoru, and Fenghuang exited the train. The shorter boy nodded and looked at the box of bread they had bought along with anxiousness. Bakugou had an incredible tolerance for spicy food. So anything that's safe for public consumption would definitely be too weak for his tastes.
"Oh don't worry, the curry bun is a special order. Your friend will…" Fenghuang began before stopping. Izuku and Minoru stopped as well, feeling the strange tension in the air despite how casual things were at the moment. All of their feet began running forward, with Fenghuang shouting to clear the way. Ahead were 3 ordinary, if scruffy, looking men…
Except for the very real swords they had removed from their bags.
Minoru threw a hairball down in front of Izuku and himself, launching the two ahead of Fenghuang. Two of the sword wielders swung at the boys with determination in their eyes. However, because of their clumsy technique, both of the boys easily turned mid-air and avoided the blade. Izuku reorientated and readied his knee, slamming it right into the first man's gut . Minoru extended his baton and its tip bit into the second man's jaw as he flew by. And looking back at their Shifu upon landing…
Izuku and Minoru saw Fenghuang comfortably twisting the last man's arms into submission with her staff. The shorter boy would have begun restraining the 3 trouble makers… Had it not been for a sudden blast of heat that descended from the sky.
"What timing. Welcome, Fenghuang of the Heaven and Earth Temple."
The imposing, burning form of Endeavor landed before the 3 of them, his heat easing back as the intensity of his flames died down. The Flame Hero was known for getting to incidents-in-progress incredibly quickly using his flames like jets. Minoru wondered how the man hadn't left scorch marks everywhere in this city. But after having seen his precise control up close…
Minoru could see just how hard Endeavor trained to reach his position.
"Thank you for having us, Mr. Number One. I hope you don't mind, but we had to subdue some troublemakers in your jurisdiction." Fenghuang said, releasing the man in her hold just before Endeavor grabbed him by the collar.
"As long as no one was injured from the incident, it's fine. You, restrain these 3." Endeavor replied before pointing and issuing a command to Minoru. With a stiff nod, the shorter boy immediately began sticking hairballs on the hands of the 3 men, who were now whispering insults at each other. 'I knew this was a stupid idea!', 'You're the ones who thought they were cool!', and things like that were heard.
"What the Hell!? Why's Deku and Rat Bitch here!?"
Izuku and Minoru turned to the source of the voice and they had found Todoroki and Bakugou, who looked a little more worn than usual, arriving at the scene.
"... Are they here about the van and murder?" Todoroki asked, turning to his father.
"Yes. But that will be discussed once they've arrived back at the agency and our current patrol is finished. Fenghuang, a sidekick of mine will be here shortly to pick you up. Can I trouble you with watching over these troublemakers until then?" Endeavor answered. Fenghuang simply bowed with a smile before presenting the box of assorted buns to the Flaming Hero, Todoroki, and Bakugou.
"It is no trouble. But allow us to offer you a gift from Inuito to snack on in return. The right-side contains sweet breads, the left has savory. Take your pick. But do note that the curry bun is for Young Bakugou alone."
"... Thank you." Endeavor said after a moment, taking a red bean paste bun.
"That shit better make me sweat more than I already am lady!" Bakugou shouted, taking the special curry bun from the box.
"We'll see you back at the agency. There are plenty of things for us to talk about." Todoroki said, taking a yakisoba bun.
"I'm sure there is, Shouto. And I'm glad to see you and Kacchan have been doing well." Izuku said with a nod.
"Are you implying that I haven't, you damn nerd!?"
"Enough idle chit-chat! Let's go!" Endeavor said before taking off. Todoroki and Bakugou didn't say anything more and immediately began chasing after the current Number One. Based on what Minoru saw… The shorter boy can infer that the Flame Hero had set the two a challenge for them to beat. And judging by their appearances and timing… Todoroki and Bakugou were trying to resolve an incident before Endeavor could.
"A race with the Number One, huh? Sounds like torture." Minoru commented, turning to his partner.
"That's certainly one of the best ways to improve your skills, competing with someone above your level." Izuku replied with a nod.
"This is why I pit you against the masters, for they have the experience that you both can learn from. Remember this my young pupils, the only real shortcut towards strength is to follow the rigorous and jagged path of the ones who already walked it." Fenghuang said.
"Yes Shifu!"
"Now… Could you gentlemen tell me what exactly were you thinking? Brandishing swords like that does not come out of the blue…" Fenghuang asked, turning to the 3 men they captured. Her eyes and tone, usually full of warmth, had turned icy as though she was a bird of prey swooping down on her meal. And Minoru and Izuku knew it wouldn't be long before they spilled the beans. They had some time before Endeavor's sidekicks arrived, after all.
…
The 3 men were once employed at the station, but were fired for violating numerous minor codes of conduct. Frustrated over being booted for such minor issues, they foolishly followed the recent trend of obtaining swords, real or otherwise, and wield them in public as a sign of protest. It was something that Crimson had unintentionally started, with many Heroes and police across Japan having to issue tickets or straight-up arrest people depending on the damage caused. And that, in turn, would cause public opinion to split even further.
Either you fought against the Heroes to protect your freedom of speech and protest. Or you support the Heroes for removing clearly dangerous individuals from the streets. There was no in-between…
Just more reasons why Crimson needed to be stopped. And that is why Fenghuang, Minoru, and Izuku were here at Endeavor's impressive agency building.
The 3 of them had been promptly picked up after the Radiant Wing finished her interrogation of the troublemakers. It was a quick but comfortable ride to the main headquarters of the current Number One Hero, allowing Fenghuang, Minoru, and Izuku to collect their thoughts on all they know thus far. And like with Hawks and Ryukyu, it's so that they don't waste the time of such accomplished and well-regarded Heroes. Time, after all, is a very precious luxury that they cannot afford to waste frivolously…
Not that it stopped Minoru and Izuku from taking a tour of the agency the moment they arrived. Fenghuang allowed it, for the same reasons she and Ryukyu allowed their last outing, and simply went to the training room for some extra practice before Endeavor's arrival. And so, under the guidance of Endeavor's boisterous sidekick Burnin, Minoru and Izuku saw the numerous facilities within the agency of the current Number One. There was no wasted space here as every room of every floor was dedicated to some purpose.
It was much like the Heaven and Earth Temple, making the two boys feel right at home.
"And here we have our training room, where we keep our bodies in peak form for future emergencies! On your left, we have the Radiant Wing Fenghuang, our guest from the Heaven and Earth Temple, wrecking greenhorns with her impressive martial skill!" Burnin shouted, stepping into the wide open room as she gestured to said person. Fenghuang dodged slightly when the Hero she's fighting tried to punch her, grabbed him by the throat as she placed a foot behind his leg, and pulled her leg back while pushing forward.
The Hero was then immediately thrown to the ground.
"Why do I gotta do this with my bare hands!? I'm a Hero! I'll just use my Quirk in the actual fight!" The Hero shouted, angrily getting up from the ground as embers escaped his breath.
"And this is why you're not ready for patrol duty, Flame Spitter! Out in the field, conditions won't always be ideal to use your Quirk! Didn't your school teach you the basics of CQC!?" Burnin shouted, her flaming green hair flaring up. Flame Spitter, nervously looked aside and muttered something under his breath, though it was still loud enough for all to hear.
"I-I might've slept through that class and barely passed it…"
"How do you barely pass it? That's like one of the most rigorous parts of Phys. Ed.!" Minoru commented, scratching his head over the comment.
"Exactly! So listen to the small ball boy and let Fenghuang teach you!" Burnin replied with a nod and a grin.
"Then I'd rather have Endeavor teach me! That's why I joined this agency in the first place! I wanted to work with him!" Flame Spitter shouted.
"If that's your attitude towards your fellow Heroes, then I decline." A powerful voice said. Eyes went to the entrance of the training hall and they found Endeavor, Bakugou, and Todoroki entering, the latter two still looking a bit winded. The Flame Hero walked directly and sternly towards Flame Spitter, causing him to quickly curb his arrogance and lower his head.
"Endeavor, sir, I–"
"She didn't need to. She could've done anything else with her time here, waiting for my arrival. And yet Fenghuang took the time and effort to provide supplemental training to those who are deficient in hand-to-hand, which you agreed to. But you disrespectfully squander the opportunity to learn, disrespect Fenghaung who offered it, and, worst of all, you disrespect the agency by making us look like terrible hosts. Leave. Go perform admin with the desk workers. And consider what I said very carefully." Endeavor said, interrupting the young Hero with a powerful rumble in his voice.
"Yes sir." Flame Spitter said, further lowering his head. And then he left in shame…
"I apologize for his behavior. He shows great potential, but his arrogance makes it hard to work with and harder to teach." Endeavor said, bowing slightly to the Radiant Wing.
"It's fine. When one has been accepted by the top agency in Japan, a bit of an ego can develop in their still impressionable minds." Fenghuang said, taking her feathered cloak and staff from another Hero holding it.
"That's still no excuse for poor hospitality. If there is anything you need during your stay here, we'll provide it. Now, let's not delay that meeting any further. That is unless you two would like to take this time to rest?" Endeavor replied, turning to aim his questions at his two interns.
"No, we would like to know more about Crimson too." Todoroki answered, shaking his head.
"A boring meeting already counts as rest! Also, where can I get more of those curry buns lady!?" Bakugou shouted before glaring at Fenghuang. He must've liked his gift if he was asking the Radiant Wing for more. But Fenghuang simply shook her head with a sad smile, knowing full well how the explosive blonde would respond.
"It's an Inuito exclusive. You'll need to travel there yourself for more."
"Fuck!"
And so, in Endeavor's impressive meeting room, two more sidekicks of Endeavor, the bandage-wrapped Kido and the enthusiastic Onima, presented the findings the agency had on Crimson's van and the recent crime scene. And as Fenghuang, Minoru, and Izuku listened, they could understand why Endeavor, Todoroki, and Bakugou were more solemn than usual when the presentation began. The occupants of the van were not Crimson while the murder of a local banking company's CFO was responsible by Crimson.
When the van was spotted by Endeavor's agency Heroes, the current Number One had lured them into a location where they couldn't run. And once the van was cornered, all the hard hitters would attack the occupants once they exited the vehicle to fight. But the ones who exited were not Stain or any of the other members of Crimson… But a low-threat, low-notoriety gang with some unregistered support items. Needless to say, they all got taken out and were promptly interrogated.
The gang members said they bought the van off of some creepy, mechanical dude on the black market for dirt-cheap, who threw in some support items as a free bonus. And since they desperately needed wheels and extra firepower to perform an upcoming heist, the gang took the deal without thinking once it was a hot vehicle. But before they could continue listening to the story, Endeavor was called to the site of a local banking company.
There, they found the dead body of the CFO, alone in his office, with an impale-wound in his torso and evidence of him illegally transferring funds around on his desk. The man had been dead for about an hour, estimated to have been killed when Endeavor's agency started attacking the van.
At that point, they all knew Crimson just tricked them.
"And that concludes the incidents from earlier this morning." Kido said, placing his tablet down as the monitor shut down.
"Those blood-thirsty shitheads are smart… I'll give them that…" Bakugou grumbled, finishing off a sausage bun he had begun eating mid-presentation.
"But now we're back to square one. We'll never find them at this rate…" Minoru said, banging his head against the table.
"I wouldn't say that Young Mineta. There's much we've figured out about our friends over our trips around Japan." Fenghuang replied.
"One, Crimson's activities are based on the difficulty of the city they hit. Because Hawks was out of Fukuoka at the time, this allowed Crimson to come out in force and lay siege to that support item company. For Ryukyu's city, since she was active, they chose a more stealthy approach and only went loud once they finished sabotaging the cargo. As for Endeavor's city, they required full-stealth and a diversion to ensure they got to their target unchallenged."
"Their tactics are less of Villains and more akin to military special forces. This makes it harder to counter their operations, since they would've had several days of preparations to ensure their successes. They even predicted how I would react once the bait was cast… How pathetic of me to fall for such a trick!" Endeavor commented, brows furrowing as his flames intensified.
"They are full of tricks Mr. Number One. So if not this one, Crimson will simply use another… Which leads me to two, they have someone on their team that can hack into electronics devices in their AO. Whether it is phones or cameras, it will ensure that Crimson's field operatives would come and go unhindered. Only analog cameras and other such devices are unaffected, allowing us to see their movements." Fenghuang continued.
"But considering how advanced most cities are, that will leave a lot of blind spots for them to walk and drive through. And there aren't enough eyes to catch people who know how to blend into society very well. Not to mention they're gaining popularity…" Todoroki commented, pondering the situation with an edge of frustration.
"And that's point three, Crimson has a very strong influence on our current society. Each day that passes, the 'Raising the Sword' style of protests grows in popularity. This is because trust in certain institutions drops with each new victim, whose once private crimes are revealed posthumously. Sure, they remove criminal elements that can abuse their high positions… But they make people distrust the systems that got those people in power." Fenghuang replied.
"If something smells, there's bound to be shit… And people think it's stained everything and everyone else close to it. Sounds like we're going up the creek without a paddle..." Bakugou commented with a growl.
"With all that considered, we're really on the backfoot Shifu." Izuku added. It was really hard to stay optimistic, considering that Crimson was able to evade them at this point. However, when Minoru looked at both Fenghuang and Endeavor, he could tell that they had another idea. Especially considering that the former had a confident smile on her face.
"They struck businesses and individuals connected to the production, transportation, and funding of support items…" Endeavor commented, narrowing his eyes as he reviewed the files again.
"Exactly. You don't miss a beat Mr. Number One. These 3 locations, thanks to Crimson's evidence about our victim, are part of a support item manufacturing network that spans across all of Japan. Don't any of you find that odd?"
"... Why does it need to be country wide? Most support item companies only deal within a city or region, never a whole country." Minoru asked, looking at Izuku, Bakugou, and Todoroki.
"Not to mention how odd it is to have so many items stored away in secret that can self-destruct upon being discovered… That's not normal. In fact, the malfunctioning of some of these items led to the arrest of several designers and manufacturers." Izuku muttered as he began thinking long and hard.
"Are these assholes secretly trying to start a war or something? Because stockpiling ordinance is warmongering 101." The explosive blonde asked, narrowing his eyes at the pad of notes in front of him.
"Based on how many mysterious support items have been found and destroyed, I imagine so. And if three of these places were already complicit in this secret war… How many more in this network are equally guilty?" Todoroki asked, his heterochromatic eyes coming to the same realization all of them had. If Crimson was really sabotaging the supply chain of a secret war…
"Then we'll find Crimson at any one of those other businesses along the network." Minoru said as all the UA students looked at Fenghuang.
"Exactly, you've reasoned it out. And while there are still several dozen locations across Japan that we need to keep an eye on, it's better than staking out every building in every city. In addition to keeping an eye out for Crimson, this investigation will also reveal what this secret network is planning with all those unregistered support items. With some effort and a bit of luck, we'll be able to defeat both parties in one fell swoop. However, we must consider that they also know what we know and will act accordingly."
"That is to be expected with highly organized criminals. But this works in our favor as well, since they cannot carelessly act anymore knowing there will be greater scrutiny on these locations. Fenghuang, I will take care of the investigations into the unregistered support items. You will continue to be on the lookout for Crimson activity. We'll both share any relevant information as it is uncovered. I will file for an official Team-Up request with the Heaven and Earth Temple once this meeting is over." Endeavor said, gathering up his copy of the files.
"Perhaps we should bring some more agencies on board. Such an operation would require many more Heroes to stake out the areas of interest. Hawks's and Ryukyu's agency should be brought in at the very least, since I've previously met with them on the matter." Fenghuang replied.
"... You know that Hawks himself can't take part in this Team-Up, right?" Endeavor asked after a moment of thought. There was something about the way the Flame Hero asked that raised suspicion in Minoru. Just like how Hawks had that strange conversation with Fenghuang over the book 'Meta Liberation War'... Was there something going on with the winged Hero that only they know about?
"I know. He's quite busy trying to break the record for the world's largest book club on the same page. I wonder how he's progressing on that? Perhaps he'll break it by spring." Fenghuang replied with an unreadable grin.
"Perhaps…" Endeavor replied with a serious nod.
"Oh, let that parrot be off in lala-land! We'll take care of this long before he has a chance to get in my way" Bakugou shouted, the grinding of his teeth filling the air. Minoru's thoughts snapped away from the double conversation of the two pros and immediately focused on the explosive blonde's attitude and words regarding the second best Hero. That's when the shorter boy remembered how, when Fenghuang, Izuku, and Minoru encountered a villain upon arriving at Fukuoka, Hawks came down and dealt with it before they could.
"He dealt with some Villains before you could?" Minoru asked, knowing full well it'll bother his nemesis.
"No!" He screamed, his denial on full display.
"He did." Todoroki answered as plainly as asking for a glass of water.
"Oh, it's just like us when we went to Fukuoka. Hawks swooped down on a crab man before we could deal with him." Izuku commented with a smile.
"That's because you and Rat Bitch are slow! I definitely would've made it if that bird brain didn't interfere!"
"So is that why you're trying so hard to race Endeavor? So you won't lose in a battle of speed again?" Minoru asked, a mischievous grin spreading across his lips. Bakugou just menacingly glared at the shorter boy, fully knowing what Minoru was trying to get a rise out of him. If he says 'yes', Minoru would be right and Bakugou hates that. If he says 'no', Bakugou would be admitting he lost and he hates that even more.
"Our speeds have been improving, though we still haven't overcome Endeavor yet. I assume that you two have someone to beat too? You're both looking a lot rougher than I expected." Todoroki commented before taking a sip of his tea.
"We've been taking lessons with other Heroes and people alongside Shifu here. You'd be surprised how strong regular civilians can be if you give them a chance to spar with you." Izuku answered.
"Speaking of… If we're done here Mr. Number One, I'd like to return back to the Temple to compile our findings and continue their training. I'm sure your students would like to continue their competition with you." Fenghuang said as she stood up. Endeavor didn't answer right away as his intense eyes were deeply thinking about something. It was strange, seeing the Flame Hero be so contemplative when he always moved with such conviction and absolute certainty.
"We are done… But there is something I wish to discuss with you tomorrow. Do you have anything scheduled then?" He said finally, turning to the Radiant Wing. Her eyes studied his and Minoru could only wonder what it was that she saw. Because she only looks at people like that when they've got some mental, emotional, and spiritual matters to resolve. The same way she did for the shorter boy last year…
"I think I can be away from the Temple for a day. However, I'd like Young Mineta and Midoriya to stay with me as well. They could learn much from observing how the number one Hero operates." Fenghuang replied, gesturing to Izuku and Minoru. Endeavor's eyes went to the two boys, his intense eyes carefully studying the two. It didn't seem like he would accept those terms. At least, that's what Minoru thinks.
But with a sigh…
"Very well. But I expect them to pull their weight as temporary members of my team. Should they underperform, they'll be on the first train back to Inuito." Endeavor said.
"Oh don't worry, their competence and skill are unquestionable." Fenghuang replied with a proud smile. Minoru and Izuku could only smile in return, not only for the opportunity to see how Endeavor works… But for the unwavering faith their shifu has in them. If she feels they can keep up with the Flame Hero, they WILL make sure they do.
"It'll be nice working with you two. Try not to fall too far behind, Endeavor is fast." Todoroki said, giving a slight bow to his newest, if temporary, teammates.
"Makes sense, he's the current Number One and the Hero with the most resolved cases. It might be tough for us, since I'm definitely going to have to carry Minoru-kun…" Izuku replied as he began planning out how tomorrow will work.
"Then you idiots might as well stay here and do some desk work! That's how far behind you'll be!" Bakugou taunted, manically grinning as usual.
"We'll see you explosive turd. We'll see…" Minoru replied, glaring defiantly at him.
Though competition was high in the air, the 4 UA students had no idea how tomorrow would go. How was Endeavor going to work with the 4 of them? Will Izuku and Minoru be able to keep up with the training they've done? And what does the Flame Hero wish to discuss with Fenghuang? Tomorrow couldn't come soon enough…
And that has been Chapter 140!
Good news! I've made quite a bit of progress planning out the story, so I'll be able to make updates every two weeks again. So look forward to the next chapter as it is going to be spicy, given the subject matter we're going into. If you know, you know.
There isn't much else to talk about, given all that happened this chapter is pretty self explanatory. But if you still have questions, comments, or concerns, you know where to leave them.
So, with all that said...
Until Next Time. T1.
