Sir Link Outset figured it was time to learn more about Zelda, especially since she'd been in the vision the previous Sage of Wind had shown Link and Tulin. However, there were a few things he had to do first. Namely report back to Purah. So he teleported to Lookout landing. She congratulated him on his work in Rito Village, and commented that some Rito had already come to Lookout Landing. She also told him about reports that the Gerudo might be faring the worst at the moment. Meaning Sidon would have to wait.

However, he did need to figure out more about where Zelda was so he teleported to the Forgotten Temple and walked to the back room to see which Geoglyph was next. He knew that the next Geoglyph was shaped like the Purah pad he had at his waist. He'd spotted it and thought it was strange, but he'd been exploring the sky islands at the time. He knew it was on the border between Lanayru and Eldin, so he teleported to the Lookout Landing Skyview tower. Once he was in the sky, he paraglided over to the Geoglyph. It didn't take him as long to find the memory pool, and Rewind it. Just like before, he was thrust into the vision.

Princess Zelda stood in Mineru's library/lab. The Zonai woman had a Steward construct beside her. Mineru held the Purah Pad in both hands as she examined it.

"This is definitely not from this era." Mineru said, looking up. Zelda now wore a dress similar to Sonia. Mineru herself wore a purple dress and her purple and teal Secret stone on a chain around her neck. Rauru stood with them, facing Mineru on Zelda's right.

"That said," Mineru continued, "I believe there may be a way to get the travel functionality working here."

"That makes sense." Zelda said, thinking back to her Sheikah research. She wouldn't be surprised if the Sheikah had found old Zonai technology and had incorporated it into their technology. That must be how the Shiakah had apparently taken over technological advancement after no more Zonai were left in Hyrule. Mineru was basically handling her technology that had been improved over thousands of years.

"I'd like to tinker with it a bit. Would it be okay, if I borrow it?" Mineru asked, and Zelda nodded.

"As long as I'm allowed to help you." Zelda said, smiling a little and Mineru smiled back.

"You may not have time to," Rauru reminded Zelda, "You want Sonia to guide your Time power training right?" Zelda frowned at the King. She was reminded a little too harshly by her own mind of her father. When he had been King, Zelda hadn't gotten to participate in technological exploration then either. That would change.

"I'm sure splitting my time will not be an issue." Zelda said, meeting Rauru's eyes. Rauru in turn seemed to have realized he hit a sore spot and nodded to her. Mineru looked between the two of them and then handed the Purah Pad to the Stewart Construct beside her. Zelda turned back to Mineru.

"You believe me that I came from the future?" Zelda asked, Mineru.

"I knew from the second you came into this room. I can tell your spirit is not from this era." Mineru said, and Zelda eyed her Secret Stone. That comment about her spirit reminded Zelda of an old story, where an ancient Gerudo warrior who had had the power of spirits. Rauru brought Zelda out of her thoughts.

"Mineru, do you know of a way we can send Zelda back to her time?" Raruru asked. Mineru seemed to consider for a moment before responding.

"I suspect that Zelda's own time power was what brought her back. But her Secret Stone is probably why she ended up going so far back in time." Mineru said.

"What did the Secret Stone do exactly?" Zelda asked. "Did it give me the time power?"

"No." Mineru and Rauru said at the same time. They mock glared at each other and Zelda got a glimpse of their sibling relationship. Rauru was the first to break and laughed softly before motioning for Mineru to continue.

"Secret Stones amplify the power one already possesses. For example, without the Secret Stone, I can sense the spirits around me, both living and dead. Also I can summon the spirits of some of the dead, but with the Stone I have a much wider range, I can summon more spirits and I have to exert less effort in summoning less vibrant spirits. I also can fully separate my spirit from my body." Mineru explained.

"Vibrant spirits?" Zelda asked.

"Depending on how powerful a person's will was in life, the more vibrant their spirit will be, making them easier to summon. They are almost louder, I can… feel them better. If that makes sense?"

Zelda nodded, thinking of the Champions and her father. Her father's will had been strong enough that he'd retained a semi-physical form for 100 years. The Champions had somehow been trapped inside the Divine Beasts but they'd still had enough will to stick around in spirit from until Link was able to get to Calamity Ganon.

"Rauru can destroy and repel evil with the power of light." Mineru continued, and Zelda started. That light power had always been associated with the Princess of Hyrule and the blood of the goddess. Had the Zonai been a part of Hyrule's royal family before Rauru? Zelda knew logically that the Kingdom of Hyrule that Rauru had founded couldn't be the original Kingdom. Hylia and her loyal knight had been the first to found Hyrule, so logically speaking Rauru had re-founded a kingdom that might have been dead for centuries. Perhaps Rauru actually was a descendant of Hylia and that Knight.

"And Sonia can control time." Mineru continued, oblivious to Zelda's shock. Perhaps she hid it well. "As for you, I can sense your Spirit carries both light and time powers." Mineru looked at Zelda. "The Secret Stone apparently amplifies your Time powers."

"Time power." Zelda murmured. It had been a surprise when Sonia had said the same thing, but now that Zelda thought about it, she realized that today wasn't the only time she'd used her Time power. She'd kept herself from aging while fighting Calamity Ganon. Perhaps she'd even held the Calamity in that stasis as well as she kept it trapped in Hyrule Castle.

"So because the Stone only amplifies power, I must eventually transport myself back on my own?" Zelda asked, and Mineru nodded. It was a good thing Zelda had already asked Sonia for her help with the new power. Still, anxiety clutched at her heart. Once again, Hyrule was riding on Zelda's ability to access a sacred power.

I have Sonia this time. Zelda reminded herself.

"I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful to you." Mineru said, but Zelda waved her off.

"No, no. If I did it once, I can do it again. Sonia will train me." Zelda nodded to herself. She wouldn't fail. Not again.

Link woke up from the vision. That explained how Zelda had gotten back to the future, but it unfortunately didn't explain why she'd ignored Link back in Hebra. Perhaps he should head over to Gerudo town next. Even if Zelda would ignore Link, she wouldn't ignore the woman she wanted to marry.
