Chapter Eighteen: Night Meeting
"Alessia dear, head to the library. The Ogier has books ready." Verin's voice came. Alessia smiled and gave the woman in brown a bow before putting her cloak on. It was now cold outside with snow. It had been weeks since Latra had come to visit that one day. She would send a calm feeling through her bond to Lillen everyday when she woke up and before she went to bed to let the older woman know she was still thinking about her. Wishing she had her bond with Liandrin as well.
"Anyone know why Sister Latra keeps coming here?" Alanna asked as everyone shook their heads. Alessia kept silent. That woman kept coming to visit her for updates on her lessons and what not while going back to the Tower to let Lillen and Liandrin know. Alessia had a feeling she could trust Latra more each time she visited.
"I will be back." Alessia spoke as she grabbed her empty bag just in case.
"Lessy.' Moiraine's voice came as Alessia stopped and felt her shoulder touched. "I'll come with you." The woman in blue spoke. She nodded her head and followed Moiraine out of the house. She gently bumped against Moiraine who looked at her and then smiled as she closed the door behind her before following the older woman towards the large library. Shivering a little as she rubbed her arms.
"Cold?" Moiraine asked.
"Yes. This cloak is rather thin." Alessia spoke. To be honest, her clothes were starting to get worn out due to the constant lessons she had been given from Alanna and her warders. Not that she minded, she was learning and she was grateful.
"Here." Moiraine spoke as she wrapped her cloak around Alessia's shoulders. Feeling the instant warmth.
"I can't take your cloak, Moiraine." Alessia spoke seeing the woman did not have a cloak anymore.
"I am used to this cold. I can handle it longer." Moiraine spoke as Alessia frowned.
"You are the definition of Aes Sedai." Alessia spoke. Moiraine wrapped an arm around her shoulder again.
"You will be as well." Moiraine spoke. She nodded her head as they entered the library. Alessia took the cloak off to hand it back to Moiraine who only pushed it back to her. "Keep it." Moiraine spoke.
"I can't. It's yours." Alessia spoke only to receive a hug from the side.
"I have plenty of others." Moiraine spoke with a smile. Alessia nodded. The cloak was thicker and a lot warmer and her scent was all over it. It drove her head crazy.
"Hello, good day Builder." Moiraine spoke to the Ogier who smiled and bowed.
"And you Aes Sedai. Are you here for the books that were requested?" He asked.
"Yes Builder." Alessia spoke as she gave him a bow as well.
"Wait here. I will collect them." He spoke as he took his leave. Alessia was looking around for the moment as the heavy footsteps came. "These are the books that were ordered for the Tower." He spoke as he set the stack of books onto the counter with several scrolls.
"Whoa." Alessia spoke. No way was all those books going to fit in her bag as she was glad that Moiraine had come with her.
"Verin Sedai ordered all of these?" Moiraine asked.
"Yes. It is already paid for." The Ogier spoke. Alessia opened her bag and began to put the books into her bag. Feeling it gets heavier and heavier. Once her bag was full, she started stacking the remaining books into her arms as Moiraine grabbed the last of the books and scrolls.
"Thank you Builder." Moiraine spoke as she gave him another bow as did Alessia.
"May you both walk in the Light." He spoke.
"And you." Alessia spoke as she waved goodbye to him as Moiraine took the lead. Feeling the cold hit as she wrapped the cloak tightly around as her shoulder was hurting from the weight of the new books. Feeling the snow lightly fall as she stopped. Looking up as the city was silent for the moment. It seemed no one wanted to be outside in the cold. Closing her eyes as she could feel the snow falling upon her face. The soft cold snowflakes melting against her skin. Feeling her shoulder touched as she looked back. Moiraine was smiling at her.
"Caught in the moment?" Moiraine asked. Alessia blushed with embarrassment and nodded her head with a smile. "Come along. Let's head back." She added as they made their way back to the house.
"We're back!" Alessia shouted with a smile as she headed into the sitting room and sat the bag down. Seeing a woman in black and white clothing. She gave her a bow with a smile.
"Latra Sedai." Alessia smiled as the woman stood up and walked up to her. Cupping her cheeks.
"Hello Alessia dear. How are you?" She asked. Her hands were warm and gentle.
"I am well. Thank you." Alessia replied.
"Sister Latra. What can I do for you?" Moiraine asked.
"A Sitter?" Alanna asked as she came into the sitting room. "Is there a meeting we are called to?" Alanna then asked.
"No sister Alanna. Just coming to pick up a few books. I heard they came in today." Latra spoke as Alessia was pulling out the books and smiled. "I also have this puzzle." Latra then spoke. She looked up to see a small box. She was curious about it. Latra then handed Alessia the small box.
"What is it?" Alessia asked with a confused look.
"It's a puzzle box. If you figure it out and get it opened, there is a small scroll inside that has instructions on a weave." Latra spoke. Alessia's eyes went wide as she gasped with a smile. She was fumbling with the box as it looked like it had several wood pieces that could be moved in certain ways. Alessia figured that they had to be moved in certain amounts. She started on it.
"Great, now she'll be more focused on that." Moiraine spoke as she sighed.
"Is that bad sister Moiraine? Maybe she belongs in the science ajah." Latra spoke with a smile.
"Can I tinker with this?" Alessia asked as she began to channel.
"No!" Alanna, Moiraine, and Verin all shouted in unison. Alessia frowned as the box was taken from her. Latra was confused as she was handed the box back.
"Thank you for coming sister Latra. Your books." Verin spoke as she handed Latra the books.
"How is she not allowed to tinker with it? I am here in case something happens." Latra spoke.
"Thank you sister Latra. Until it is time for you to teach her in your ajah, for now, she is under the brown ajah care." Verin spoke. Her tone seemed a little harsh.
"Very well. May you go with the Light." Latra spoke with a smile and bowed before taking her leave with her books.
"We are leaving tonight. Go pack your things." Moiraine spoke. Alessia raised a brow at Moiraine but didn't question it. She left the sitting room as she brought her empty bag. She sighed and sat on her bed while looking around the room she had gotten used to staying in the last few months. Hearing a knock on her door as she went to open it.
"Are you alright?" Adeleas asked as Alessia nodded her head.
"Yes, just wondering why we are leaving." Alessia spoke as she went back to the bed as she opened her bag to start packing.
"I am not sure. Moiraine Sedai will not tell us. We are going to another city. It's just as safe as it is here." Adeleas spoke.
"Where are we going?" Alessia then asked.
"I do not know exactly. Moiraine won't tell us until we leave." Adeleas spoke as Alessia nodded her head. Watching the brown ajah take her leave to pack as well. Folding her clothes to pack into her bag to make sure she had gotten everything. Grabbing her journal as she set it onto the table. Focusing back onto her bag as she stacked the three books she was reading and taking notes. Packing them last into her bag while hearing a knock on her door. Moiraine had opened it.
"You ready?" She asked as Alessia nodded her head. Putting the bag over her shoulder as she followed the blue ajah out of her room. Seeing everyone ready to head out. She was the last one out as she closed the door.
"So, where are we going sister Moiraine?" Alanna asked with a smile as she was in the lead with Moiraine. Alessia was sitting in the cart with their things. They had been on the road for days now. She was getting tired. Her back was aching a little from not being able to ride the horse since they were short.
"To Caemlyn." Moiraine replied. Alessia gasped lightly at this. Another city she had never been to. She started to hum softly while closing her eyes and leaning her head back to soak up any warmth the sun was giving off during the winter. Feeling her body shiver again as she wrapped the blue cloak tightly around her body with her Accepted cloak as well.
"We need to get her warmer clothes." Moiraine spoke from the front. Lan was riding right next to Moiraine as Alanna's warders were bringing up the rear. She decided to grab her bag and look through it. Seeing something not there. She frowned and pulled out all of the books. Her journal. It was not there! She pulled out her clothes and looked through all the pockets and sighed. Putting everything back into her bag.
"Everything alright?" A voice spoke. Alessia looked up to see Adeleas watching her.
"Yes, I thought I lost the books." She lied while pulling one back out and opened it. It is one of the new books on advanced weaves. She pulled out paper as she began to write down notes on the ones she wanted to try.
"Is she studying again?" Moiraine asked.
"Yes." Verin's voice replied. "She'll see it soon." Verin added. Alessia knew they were talking about her. She didn't mind. She was ready to go back to the Tower. Feeling that started to slow down, she closed the book she was reading to look around. Seeing they entered the gates.
"It's the Aes Sedai!" Several voices were speaking at once.
"There's an Accepted with them!" Another voice.
"She should leave while she has the chance!" A male shouted. She ignored him and put the book back into her bag with her notes before looking back around and smiled. There were walls that were at least fifty feet tall! There was an inner city and an outer city! The outer was newer than the inner. It seemed they were expanding out.
"It's beautiful!" Alessia spoke while looking around. It seemed Moiraine's horse slowed down to trot next to her.
"It's where I am from." Moiraine spoke as Alessia looked at her. There was a smile on her face again. A gentle one. Alessia began to shiver again. "Come. Let us quickly get there. We'll be staying at my family's residence." Moiraine instructed them as they all nodded. She had never expected them to be going to Moiraine's family home. Her teeth were now chattering as she could feel them hit from her jaw vibrating from the cold. She did not realize how cold she was until she stood up and stretched.
"By the Light! Let's get her inside!" Adeleas shouted as Alessia was helping them get their things to bring inside once they had arrived.
"Come along Lessy." Moiraine spoke softly while wrapping her arms around Alessia's shoulder and leading her inside.
"My lady. Welcome home." A male's voice spoke.
"Thank you. Don't mind my sisters. We will be out of your hair tonight." Moiraine spoke. "In the meantime, will you light a fight and sit this one by it?" Moiraine asked as she pushed Alessia forward a little.
"Very well my lady. Come along." The man spoke. He was much older than they were as she followed. Holding the cloak tightly as she was shown a seat as she sat down. Seeing him struggle lighting the fire.
"Here sir." Alessia spoke as he looked up and stepped aside. Alessia shivered while weaving fire to her and moved her hand forward. Lighting the wood on fire inside the fireplace.
"Thank you Aes Sedai." He spoke and bowed.
"Oh. I'm not an Aes Sedai." Alessia spoke.
"Odd. Well. I shall start on dinner. Get warm." He spoke as he took his leave. Alessia sighed a little. She was upset that she had forgotten her journal. She started to warm up as she sighed a little. Slinking down in the seat before sitting on the floor by the fire. She moved her hand in front of her and weaved air. Creating a small ball of air above her palm. She didn't know how long she was there until Moiraine had come into the room.
"Warmed up?" Moiraine asked as Alessia nodded her head while standing up while dropping the weave. She smiled softly as she was led out of the sitting room as she was in another room. It felt odd. Being inside a private house.
"Who are all these people?" A woman's voice spoke.
"Forgive me, we are only staying a few hours. Then we will be out of your hair." Moiraine spoke to the woman.
"It's been years, Moiraine! Please. Let's have some tea." The woman spoke. Then it clicked! This older woman was Moiraine's younger sister! She had remembered Moiraine speaking to Alanna about her awhile back when she was heading to the Tower for the first time. Seeing Alanna come back with a kettle.
"Come everyone. Sit down." Moiraine's younger sister spoke. Watching all her teachers take their seats as she remained standing. "Sit down dear." The woman spoke. Alessia sat down rather quickly. Seeing her cup have tea poured into it. It was the tea Alanna was always making. Alessia didn't want to bother, so she just drank it. Feeling sadness as she set her cup back down. Listening to the sisters all talking about the current events as she was deep in thought while looking at her hands in her lap.
Tarna's POV
"Liandrin?" Tarna asked while knocking on the door. Seeing it opened as she entered. It felt gloomy inside of the room. It was dark since the curtains were drawn. "Any news?" Tarna asked while taking a seat as Liandrin poured them both a cup of wine.
"Only from what sister Latra spoke." Liandrin spoke as she took a drink and sighed.
"I see. So, she is doing alright with her lessons." Tarna spoke while hearing a knock on the door.
"Might as well invite everyone." Liandrin sighed as she opened the door.
"Latra wants to speak to us." Lillen's voice came. Tarna raised a brow before following Liandrin out of the room. Lillen had her hands behind her back as she took the lead to the stairway as they made their way up a few flights.
"What does she want us for?" Tarna asked.
"Well, mainly Liandrin and I but she knows you and Alessia are close friends." Lillen spoke softly.
"Wait, it's about little dove?" Liandrin asked. Lillen raised a brow at her before nodding her head. They were now silent as the only thing they could hear was their boot heels on the floor. Seeing a door opened as they entered a larger room.
"Why are there Reds here?" Lanfear's voice came.
"I called for them. No need to worry. You may go." Latra's voice came. Lanfear nodded and took her leave from the room. It was a large circular room that she had never seen before. It was clean with many boxes and books stacked along the walls on shelves. Tarna assumed these were either research projects or cases that were worked on.
"Everything alright sister Latra?" Liandrin asked as the woman pulled out a leather book with leather strings that is used to tie it close. Hearing a soft gasp as Lillen grabbed it and held it close.
"What is that?" Tarna asked.
"Alessia's journal." Lillen spoke. Liandrin reached for it only for Lillen to move it to the side from her. She was protective of it.
"Why can't I see it?" Liandrin asked.
"There are personal things written in this." Lillen replied.
"You know this, how?" Liandrin crossed her arms.
"We worked on it together before she left." Lillen sighed. Looking down to the side.
"How did you get the journal?" Tarna asked.
"I found it left on the table in the room she was staying in." Latra spoke.
"What do you mean by 'found'?" Liandrin asked.
"They left. I do not know where but they left." Latra spoke as she was leading them over to a table. She pulled out a small box and set it on the table. "They have her drinking this tea daily. It's a dreamless tea. Only meant to be used for medical reasons." Latra spoke as Tarna picked the box up to smell the herbs and coughed a little.
"Why is she drinking this everyday?" She asked.
"Maybe to prevent her from having those night terrors?" Liandrin asked as they all looked at her. "Remember when she was a Novice? After coming back from Fal Dara?" Liandrin then asked as they nodded.
"Do you think she's been drinking that tea ever since?" Tarna asked, remembering one night they just stopped.
"No. It's not healthy to be drinking that tea every night." Latra spoke.
"You're saying she's not going to be healthy once we have her back?" Liandrin asked. Latra nodded her head.
"That is why I was constantly checking up on her after sister Lillen here told me about the tea that causes dreams to not happen." Latra explained.
"Is there anything else?" Tarna asked.
"Yes. I gave her the puzzle box to tinker with." Latra spoke as she set the small box onto the table. Lillen grabbed it and smiled.
"I remember this. Am I still the only one who solved it in six hours?" Lillen asked as Latra nodded with a smile.
"Yes. Alessia did not get a chance. Once she asked if she could tinker with it, they yelled at her to not do so." The woman sighed.
"What do you mean by that?" Liandrin asked with a frown.
"I would assume they do not want her tinkering with things." Latra spoke.
"Do they not want her to reach her full potential?" Lillen asked in a soft voice. Seeing Latra shake her head, Tarna frowned at this.
"This is all the update I have for you sister Lillan and Liandrin. I am sorry. She's not in Andor anymore." Latra spoke as they all nodded. Tarna was watching Liandrin as she was balling her hands into fists.
"I do not trust Moiraine!" Liandrin spoke loudly once they were back in her room. Tarna had the glass cup in her hands as Lillen was still holding the journal in her lap. She was holding into it tightly.
"She's a blue ajah. What did you expect?" Tarna asked.
"Moiraine cannot keep her away from us forever!" Liandrin added as she sat down. Taking another drink and sighed.
"Technically speaking, she should be done with her lessons by now." Lillen spoke this time.
"How do you know?" Tarna asked.
"Each Accepted usually spends a month or two with each ajah before focusing more on the one with their talents. Not to mention, she is supposed to be helping teach classes as well. An Accepted is not supposed to be out of the Tower longer than six months." Lillen then added.
"Do you really think Moiraine is going to follow that rule?" Tarna asked.
"She has to. Even Mother said so herself. Unless." Lillen spoke as she stopped in her mid sentence as she went into thought.
"Unless what?" Liandrin then asked.
"Unless Mother knows what Moiraine knows." Lillen spoke.
"Impossible. Mother does not take sides for anything. She has to follow the Tower laws and rules just like the rest of us." Liandrin spoke with a frown.
"You forget Liandrin. Siuan and Moiraine were very close before Siuan became the Amyrlin." Tarna then spoke.
"That is true. Siuan was blue before taking the Seat." Liandrin added.
"Are you implying that they are working together?" Lillen asked.
"You can never really trust a blue ajah." Liandrin added.
"You expect her to trust a Red?" Lillen then asked. Looking up to her now.
"I have never lied to her nor hide anything from her. When she asks me things, I tell her." Liandrin spoke.
"Did she ever tell you what happened in her arches?" Tarna asked. It went silent in the room. Both women shook their heads.
"You say you don't hide things from her. Have you even told her about him?" Lillen then asked. Her tone was angry and a bit more harsh.
"No. She never asked." Liandrin spoke.
"So, how can she trust you then?" Lillen asked.
"Have you told her?" Liandrin then rounded the question towards Lillen who frowned and looked down to the side again. Hearing a sigh.
"Enough you two. We are on the same side. We all love Alessia and we are worried about her." Tarna spoke as they both looked at her and then away. "Now, my question to you both is, when she rises to the Shawl, will you still accept her if she does not choose your ajah?" Tarna asked as she crossed her arms. They looked at each other.
"If she chooses another, I will be alright with it. At least we'll know what's going on with the other ajahs." Lillen spoke. Liandrin was still silent.
"Liandrin." Tarna then spoke.
"I do not want her in any other ajahs. Especially blue." She sighed. Tarna frowned at this. "Reds aren't supposed to be friends with the others. But that has been blurred for a while. Our sisters are still used to having the traditions of keeping separate." Liandrin spoke.
"That doesn't answer my question." Tarna cut her off.
"Yes. I will still accept her." Liandrin spoke. Her hands were balled into fists again. Tarna touched Liandrin's shoulder. She was tense but sighed a little.
"Should we take this to our Highest? See what they say?" Tarna then asked.
"Latra is already suspicious since she did not finish her studies under yellow." Lillen spoke.
"I would be too." Tarna spoke as she finished her drink and set the cup onto the table.
"Sister Joiya is wondering why Alessia isn't here at the Tower to continue her lessons as well. Maybe we can get our sisters talking and get them suspicious as well." Liandrin spoke.
"You are evil." Tarna spoke.
"Have you met me?" Liandrin asked. Tarna chuckled at this. Hearing a soft sigh as she looked over. Lillen was smiling with her eyes closed while tightly holding the journal. Tarna raised a brow.
"The bond." Liandrin spoke with a frown. It clicked.
"She did say she wants one with you when she sees you again." Tarna spoke.
"It's been months." Liandrin spoke while watching Lillen before finishing her wine as well. She was not wrong. It had been months and it did not feel like it. "Get some rest. Both of you. I'm going to speak to our highest." Liandrin spoke. Lillen nodded her head as she stood up. Still holding the journal close to her chest as her light footsteps leave the room as Liandrin stood up and headed out as well. Tarna was now following.
"Are we doing this?" Tarna asked as Liandrin nodded. She took a deep breath as they made their way back to the red floor and headed down the hallway. It was now late at night as Liandrin knocked on the door. A woman older than them, opened the door. Her long black hair was down as she had an angry expression on her face but was not.
"What can I do for you sisters? It is very late." The woman spoke.
"Sister Tsutama. We believe that one of our Accepteds is well." Liandrin began.
"Is what?" Tsutama asked. Crossing her arms.
"We believe Alessia is the Dragon." Tarna cut in a whisper. Seeing their Highest eyed them with a raised brow.
"The Dragon hasn't been born again." She spoke. "What nonsense rumors started this?" She asked.
"Sister please. Allow us to explain." Liandrin spoke.
"Very well. You never lead me wrong with your gut feelings. Come inside." She waved her hand as all the candles were all lit at once. Tarna sat down when they were told to be. "Now tell me. How do we think that one of our Accepteds is the Dragon?" She asked while sitting down and crossed her legs. Folding her hands in her lap.
"She's one of the strongest Accepteds. When we first encountered her, Lanfear, Lillen, and myself, she knocked us out for the moment from her power." Liandrin began.
"So you said in your report when you came back. Then again, Lanfear and Lillen both backed you up. Any of our Accepteds could do that." Tstuama spoke.
"Could any of our Accepteds finish off a Trolloc attack on a city?" Tarna then asked. "Without any training?" She added. Tstuama was silent for a moment. A hand against her chin as she was thinking.
"Moiraine also has been with her the entire time. Why would she keep Alessia with her? Why take her from the Tower?" Liandrin began with questions. Tstuama held her hand up to silence Liandrin who did.
"I understand where you are coming from. You are worried about your protege and you have a right to be. There is still no evidence." She spoke. Seeing Liandrin sighed in defeat.
"If I may?" Tarna then asked. Tstuama nodded.
"When Alessia was in the Two Rivers, the sky shattered. Then out of nowhere, a Faceless appeared. Going only after her. Not long after, she showed up in our camp. Killed a Trolloc with a mere wave of her hand. Finished the Trolloc attack on Fal Dara. Why would Moiraine take her along before she signed her name in the book?" Tarna spoke. "Not to mention, according to what Liandrin said when Alessia was younger, her parents were hiding her from us." Tarna added.
"You make strong points sister Tarna." Tstuama spoke. Her tone seemed to have changed.
"You believe us?" Liandrin then asked.
"I do believe you because we cannot lie. Though, I do not believe any of the other Highests will." Tstuama spoke.
"Sister Latra does." Tarna spoke as Tstuama raised a brow.
"How so?" She asked.
"Sister Lillen and I received a letter from Alessia." Liandrin spoke.
"You have this letter?" Tstuama asked.
"Yes. Don't say anything." Liandrin spoke while giving Tarna a look as Liandrin pulled the letter from her belt and handed it over. Tarna gave Liandrin a smirk. She kept the letter on her at all times.
"This is odd. Why would she not be allowed to write to you or her friends?" Tstuama asked while sitting up to read over the letter. "What is this tea she mentions?" She asked as well.
"That's why sister Latra asked for us earlier today. She told us this tea is used to have dreamless sleep for medical use. Daily drinking of it is not healthy." Tarna spoke.
"Does sister Latra believe you two?" Tstuama asked.
"There is three of us. Yes." Tarna spoke.
"Who else?" She asked.
"Lillen." Liandrin replied.
"This is big. If the Science ajah Highest believes this, then there is a chance that she is the Dragon." Tstuama spoke as she stood up.
"Where are you going?" Liandrin then asked.
"I am going to call the other Highest to a meeting and go from there. If we do this, there is no going back." Tstuama spoke. "So, I ask again, do you truly believe that Alessia is the Dragon?" She asked. Both Tarna and Liandrin nodded their heads without hesitation. "Very well. Get some rest and I will speak to you both tomorrow." She spoke as they nodded again.
"Thank you and rest well." Tarna spoke.
End of Tarna's POV
Tstuama's POV
She sighed and rubbed her temples. Heading down the hallway as she made her way to the room she needed. Knocking on the door as it was then answered.
"Sister Tstuama. What can I do for you?" Latra asked with a smile. She was waved to enter the room and she did.
"Did you find anything about that tea?" She asked Latra raised a brow and crossed her arms.
"Why do you ask?" Latra asked in return.
"It came to my attention that one of my sisters in my ajah, she has a protege that wrote to her about it. For some reason she is not allowed to write to her by Moiraine's orders." Tstuama spoke.
"Yes. I have spoken to Alessia when she was alone. She showed me what the herbs looked like for the tea. It's not meant to be used for everyday drinking. It concerns me." Latra spoke as Tstuama nodded her head.
"Now, it also brings up that two of mine believe that she is the Dragon." Tstuama spoke.
"Yes. One of mine believes she is. Another is questioning about it." Latra spoke.
"Sister Tarna made very strong points about her power. Alessia can do things that Accepteds cannot do and she did them without training." Tstuama added.
"This does concern me. If Alessia is the Dragon, then why is she not in the Tower where we can protect her?" Latra asked. She had a point. Why was she not here?
"Ask Moiraine that." Tstuama spoke.
"Does the blue ajah know something that we do not know?" Latra asked.
"Should we speak to the others?" Tstuama asked. Latra nodded her head.
"Yes. Let us gather them into the Hall room downstairs." Latra spoke as she nodded. She took her leave as she went down each hallway. Knocking on the doors of only the Highest. Letting each know about the meeting they now had called. Heading down the stairs now towards the basement. Not wanting others to hear them as she followed her sisters down the stairs. One from each ajah. The Highest from each. Seeing Latra there already as she nodded her head at her.
"Why are we called here?" A green ajah spoke.
"Sister Adelorna, we called because we believe or suspect that one of our Accepteds is the Dragon." Tstuama spoke. Hearing everyone go silent before the green started to chuckle.
"You do not believe the rumors, do you?" The gray spoke.
"I believe it is so." Latra spoke as a few more were whispering among themselves.
"If we believe this Accepted is the Dragon, who?" Adelorna asked.
"Alessia Solace." Tstuama spoke.
"Liandrin's protege?" The gray asked as Latra nodded her head.
"She is powerful. She rose to Acceptance quickly and she did finish a Trolloc army with no training." A brown spoke.
"This is true." The white spoke. "I wonder. If she is the Dragon, why did she not tell anyone?" She asked again.
"Moiraine told her not to write to anyone, sister Ferane." Tstuama spoke.
"How do you know this?" Ferane asked. Tstuama handed the woman in white the letter. Watching her read it a few times before passing it around.
"This is concerning." The brown ajah spoke. Seeing all her sisters nod in agreement. "Does Mother know about Alessia?" The brown ajah then asked.
"Is it possible? She and Moiraine are very close." Chesmal finally spoke. "Not to mention, she was sent out in the middle of my training with her." She added.
"Who does that? That has never happened before. Not to anyone and Mother would never have done anything like that for anyone." The brown spoke. This made all the sisters give each other worried looks now. All eyes now on the blue ajah.
"Sister Maigan? Do you know anything?" Tstuama asked.
"No. I am just as worried and curious as you are. I heard nothing from Moiraine. She is more private than any other blue sisters." Maigan spoke.
"Someone send a letter to Andor and call Alessia back to the Tower." Adelorna.
"She's not in Andor anymore." Latra spoke.
"What do you mean? Where is she?" Ferane then asked.
"I do not know. When I went to visit to check up on her progress to let sister Lillen and Liandrin know of her progress, I only found her journal left." Latra spoke.
"Where is her journal?" Ferane asked. This woman was asking a lot of questions.
"Sister Lillen has it. Good luck prying it from her hands." Latra warned her.
"Very well! Find Alessia and call her back. Wherever she is." Ferane spoke as her sisters all nodded their heads.
"I have red sisters in all cities. I will write to them before I head to bed and send the letters out as soon as possible." Tstuama spoke.
"Very good. Rest well my sisters and go with the Light." Adelorna spoke. With that, they had ended the meeting. Tstuama sighed and nodded her head. She had many letters to write before she headed to bed.

Well! Something is going down at the Tower!
