A/N: Hello!, to all of you, and welcome back to what was actually the hardest chapter of this tory for me to write. Why? Because Blake is so damned hard to write for! At least, to me. I love her, don't get me wrong, but she is difficult by nature.
Which is why the vast majority of this is from other characters POVs...
Ah well, here's hoping you all enjoy what's here. That being said, I do have a pretty clear idea of what I want to do for the next chapter or three. :)

Chapter 10
Saturday...
Ruby swallowed as she glanced around the corner to see her target coming towards her, wearing the Beacon Academy Uniform. She looked down at the device in her hands and swallowed again. She had one shot at this. She had to make it count.
She took a breath in, held it, then blew it out all at once before stepping around the corner to wave and say, "Hey, Jaune! How's it goin'?"
"Whoa! Ruby!" The tall boy jumped backwards at her appearance, doing a double take and said, "Where'd you come from?"
"Oh, you, around," The red and black-haired girl nodded and grinned at him in answer.
The blond could only smile and shake his head at that. That was his best friend for you. He sighed before asking, "So, what? Did you want something with me, Ruby?"
The girl blushed at that before erupting a bout of cackling laughter before she waved her hand and said, "Hah, nah! I… I, uh…" Then she flushed deeply and ducked her head down as she tapped and twiddled her index fingers together as she muttered, "Well, I, I kind of did… want to ask… About the Dance… And you and me… Together…" She went silent then before drawing her ever present hood over her head as she let out a muffled squeal, "MmhpheEEEEEHH!"
"Huh? What was that, Rubes?" Jaune asked with a scowl as he leaned down to hear her better.
She hesitated before shifting about on her person. Then, "Here! Look at this!" And shoved a small, watch-like device in his face.
Jaune blinked as he jerked his head back to avoid getting smacked in the face then he looked down to see a small, white rectangle block with Hard-light Dust lit interfaces built in. "Huh, uh, okay. What am I looking at?" He asked in abject confusion.
"Oh, uh, it's just something I've been working, is all." She responded offhandedly.
"And, that is?" He asked again, twerking an eyebrow as he looked the device over. It really did look like some kind of watch to him. Though, there wasn't a display showing the time or anything like that.
"Oh, it's a Hard-light Shield generator. A more specialized version of the handheld version made by the Atlesian Military." She said by way of explanation as she strapped it onto his wrist then shrugged and said, "I just decided to design something that was a bit more accessible, you know."
"Huh? Wow! That sounds really cool, Rubes!" Jaune announced and grinned her way as he asked, "Is it as strong as the original? How does it work?"
"Here, you turn it on with this button here. And then, here, is how you would switch between whichever type of shield would work best in a situation. I know how you like to have some tactical options which you need them," Ruby explained as she showed him how to first turn the device on before going to cycle through the different arrangements of the Hard-light Barrier from a large round Targe before shrinking down to a smaller Target shield before shifting to a small square-like shield and then, finally, that of a triangle Kite shield reminiscent of his Crocea Mors. It even seemingly had his family's Emblem on it, the twin Crescent Moons rising over that of what looked to be Ruby's Scatter Rose Emblem.
"Wow, Ruby. That is really, really cool!" Jaune said as he looked over the various types of shields already saved into the device, transitioning between several as he did so. "I mean, really. This is awesome! You are beyond amazing!"
Ruby couldn't help but blush at the praise before waving her hand at him as she looked away, saying, "Oh, stop, you! You, big dummy!"
"No! Really," Jaune reiterated as he went through the other functions of the device, finding the Aura Gauge, Dust charge level for both the Electric Dust and Hard-light Dust cells. "I mean it, Ruby. I wouldn't be surprised if General Ironwood tries to hire you as soon as you guys Graduate at the end of the year. I've heard through the grapevine that there's… been talks, behind the scenes. If you catch my drift."
"Hah!" Ruby then snorted and laughed at that before saying, "Yeah. Like I'd ever accept something like that. Sure it be pretty kool, and I'd make a lot more Lien than with just being a Huntress, but then I'd have to be a part of the Atlesian Military and they're just so strict, you know? It wouldn't be as fun."
Though she denied ever accepting the offer, it also looked like she was contemplating the actual offer, too.
"I don't know, Rubes," Jaune returned as he thought it over while looking over the Hard-light Shield Gauntlet. "From what I heard you wouldn't exactly be a member of the military. Just under the general's authority." He then frowned as he looked up at the ceiling while he said aloud, "Of course, if you took that job… then it would probably be really hard to keep in touch with you. That's how it was with Saphron and Terra for the longest time. It's why she finally moved to Argus to live with her before they got married."
Ruby frown at that. "Well, I wouldn't want that. That completely ruins it for me."
"Heh, sorry, Ruby. Didn't mean to be such a spoilsport." Jaune replied with a pained grin and his classic habit of rubbing at the back of his head in embarrassment/nervousness. To get over the sudden awkward silence he held aloft the device and asked, "Hey, so… Is there a clock on this thing? I couldn't find one."
Ruby looked at him and blinked in confusion over the sudden whiplash to that question then thought it over before blanching as she said, "Uh, no. There wasn't any room for it."
Jaune blinked at that and said, "There wasn't any room?"
"Uh, let me take that back real. Igottadoublechecksomethingwithit, realfast! Be back! Bye!" She rapid-fired as she snatched the wristwatch-like device from him and dashed off with her Semblance blazing full force.
Jaune blinked in confusion at that as a layer of rose petals settled down on top of him. "Oh-kay?" He said slowly after her.
/ /
Yang watched silently as her sister and their crush gushed over her latest invention only for the girl to suddenly dash off in embarrassment at Jaune's last question, and could only shake her head in sympathy. For some reason, while all of RWBY now knew that Jaune was quite accepting of their new… arrangement, they still hadn't done anything about it yet. From what she could see anyway.
Or, well… She hadn't seen anything obvious at least.
It was like they were all still trying to win him over in their own way. Which was cute, but a bit silly in her opinion.
And, Ruby was being just the most stubborn about things. Sure, Blake seemed to be her usual standoffish, laid-back self, but, as her girlfriend, Yang knew she was thinking about some way to get in Jaune's pants… Other than just asking. And, Weiss kept going on about that "perfect plan" of hers. Whatever that was.
But, Ruby…
Ruby was being weird about things.
For the past few weeks she had been holed-up in their room or down at the Forge trying and failing to come up with… something, anything, to give to Jaune as a gift. And, Yang just couldn't figure out why. All any of them could get out of their leader was "It's tradition!" or "It has to be perfect!" Or something equally obscure.
She shrugged to herself, after giving it some more thought, before waltzing over to her new boyfriend as he was standing there in confusion, clearly puzzled over the whole thing. She gave him a hard, firm smack in the butt as she said by way of greeting, "Hey, Jauney-boy! What's the hang up? Let's go! A certain pretty kitty in waiting for you at the Library. For your "Study Session" if you know what I mean." Making quotations with her fingers on the words before giving him a wink and a nudge with her elbow. Then she grinned and let out a chuckling laugh as she turned and made her way back outside.
/ /
Jaune frowned and rubbed at the spot on his rump as he muttered, "Come on. You know it's not like that." Then he flushed as he thought about how such a "session" could go, especially with the dark-haired beauty of Team RWBY.
Then he shook his head and stalked out after his girlfriend to find her already on Bumblebee, her custom motorcycle. The girl swept her long, blond locks to one side as she grinned his way and called out, "Come on, let's go! We're wasting daylight!" Then she donned her helmet before going back to checking over her bike as she waited for him to descend the stairs of the Senior Dorms and get on.
He stopped and stared as he took her in. She was wear nearly all black today, with a bit of yellow to her wardrobe. One leg was garbed in a long, thigh high boot and the other only to the knee. Her riding leathers were already attached, giving her an almost birdlike appearance and she had on a black jacket with one sleeve rolled up to the elbow with the other was down to her wrist, and she had on her black, fingerless gloves.
He stared at her long muscular legs and thighs as they braced on either side of the big bike while she sat there and found himself swallowing as his gaze slowly crept along those legs to pause as the briefest bit of pale flesh that shone in between all her leathers. From there his gaze ran up to rest on her tight butt as it was pressed into the seat cushion when she leaned over to check on the front tire before his eyes traced a line up her figure, pausing to admire the toned muscles of her arms and stomach before lingering of her full, tightly bound breasts. Finally, his gaze ended like it always did during these moments, as he stare at her flawless face and wondered at his luck.
She seemed to sense his gaze on her as she turned to look at him once more, revealing those gorgeous and wondrously unique lavender eyes and asked as she swept her hair back from her face nervously as the wind suddenly tried to snatch it up, "What? Is there something wrong?"
"No, nothing," He swallowed and whispered loudly. "I just think that you're so beautiful. Beyond belief."
She blushes and looks away at that before turning back to grin at him as she says, "Ya big dork. Come on! Blake's waitin'!"
He nodded at that and made to sit down behind her. Unfortunately, there was only so much room on the seat, and they both felt it as he came in contact with her rump.
"Jeez, Jaune! Seriously?" She asked in apparent outrage while not looking at him, the only hint at her actual mood the faintest bit of pink around her ears. "We've already done it twice this morning, and once last night!"
"Well, I can't help it," he returned with a goofy grin which turned into a very smug smirk as he then continued with, "Besides, its your fault."
"MY fault?!" Yang exclaimed, truly outraged this time as she turned around to glare at him, her eyes flashing red. "How is it my fault?"
This had better be good, buster, or no more sex for you for, like, a month. No, a week! Dammit! No sex for you, means no sex for me and that's not fair, either! Shit! She thought to herself rapidly. Please, have a good answer? I like the sex!
Jaune shrugged before replying with, "Well, not only am I dating a bad ass biker babe, I'm dating the Yang Xiao Long. There'd have to be something wrong with me if I didn't react this way around you."
She turned back around at that, blushing, and smiled to herself. Okay. That was pretty good. I'll forgive you, for now, but the sex had better be really, really good tonight.
"Okay," she said then, trying to keep her composure. She coughed into a fist before saying as she handed Jaune her spare helmet without looking at him, "Now, come on. We really got to go. I got things to do today, and you how Blake can be when you keep her waiting."
"Yeah," he breathed behind her as he fitted the helmet to his head before wrapping his arms loosely around her. She could only smile and shake her head at that before grabbing his hands and subtly motioning to him to tighten his grip about her midriff.
He did so immediately.
/ /
As Yang pulled to a stop at a traffic light she turned and asked, "Hey? You doing okay back there? I'm not angry at you, in case you're still worried about that."
"Nah," Came the answer. "Just thinking is all."
She flicked her gaze to either side as the light changed to green and she took off at a leisurely pace as she said, "Oh, yeah, what about?"
"'Bout Ruby, and Blake, and Weiss," Jaune returned quietly, as if he was measuring his words carefully.
"Oh, yeah? What about them?" She replied, licking her lips nervously.
There was a definite pause before he asked, "Why haven't they done anything? I mean, I'm all for making the first move if you guys want me to. -You certainly know that after last night." - "Yeah, I do," She muttered with a smirk as she recall all the juicy details. - "But, it be nice to know if you all really want this, want me."
There was another pause before he said, "It's fine if you don't. I'll understand."
"Jaune," Yang started with a groan, as they came to another stoplight, sensing his lack of self-worth starting to creep in. She turned and looked at him as she said, "It's not like that. I promise you. They're all, just, trying to come up with a way to say it to you, in their own unique ways." She turned back and took off again as the light turned green, and the obnoxious driver behind her immediately blared his horn at them. "You know us all very well by now. We all got our... quirks, to work through. But, I promise you, that it's got nothing to do with you, and everything to do with us."
She stopped at the next light before saying, "Just give us some time to wrap our heads around what we want to say before e commit to this, okay?"
"Alright," he returned with a smile as he said, "I got plenty of patience for you girls. I can wait for as long as you need me to." Then he frowned before saying, "I just needed to know that, this was for real, you know?"
"Trust me, I know" She returned with a small smile as she recalled their night in the Infirmary. She then turned onto another road as the obnoxious driver honked at them again even as they went straight.
/ /
A little while later as Yang came to a stop at yet another light and went to take a swallow of water from the bottle she had next to her - Stupid Saturday traffic! She thought. - Jaune leaned over to ask, "So, Yang?"
"Yeah?" She returned before continuing to sip water. Gods, but it was hot today.
"You ever do it on your bike before?"
*Spit*
*Hack, Cough*
"What?!" She wheezed loudly as she sprayed water all down her front.
"Sex. Did you ever do it on Bumblebee?"Jaune reiterated, a smug grin in his tone.
"What? Like, while I'm driving?!" She exclaimed, causing nearby pedestrians to pause and look their way.
"Wha? No. That sounds kind of impossible. Maybe?" Jaune returned calmly, if a bit confused, as though he were thinking of the requirements for that. "No. I just meant, on your bike."
She didn't say anything to that, too bamboozled to come up with a reply right away. Occasionally, her boyfriend got her like that. It was, irksome, to say the least. Jaune seemed to take her silence the wrong way as he said hesitantly, "It's alright if you don't want to answer that. It was a bit sudden. And, I know Ruby wouldn't want to think about doing something like that with Crescent, seeing as it's her baby, and-"
She inhaled deeply as she thought, Oh, I am so getting you back for this, before saying over his continued excuses, "Listen." -He stopped talking instantly. Good boy.- "Listen, while I built Bumblebee by hand, I don't treat her the same way as Ruby does Crescent Rose. For one, she doesn't need nearly as much 'hands on care' as my little sister's 'awesome scythe-gun' does. That being said," She started as she turned around to give him a heated stare alongside her classic devil-may-care smirk, "I down to clown, if you are, Jaune." Then she winked at him before turning back to take off as the light change.
Jaune blushed and swallowed at that. Oh boy he thought. What have I done?
/ /
As they pulled up to the stairs before the Vale Public Library, Yang noticed her girlfriend coming down the stairs towards them and instantly smiled. She loved that cat. Then her eyes drifted over to her boyfriend as he was getting off of her bike and grinned some more. She loved her Jauney-boy, too.
"Here," she said as she noticed his appearance. She reached out to tousle his matted hair and straighten his tie from their ride before, with a quick glance to see if Blake was watching, jerked him toward her as she took his mouth in a hot, passionate kiss. She didn't bother hiding the slight groan that came out of her as he instantly reciprocated, deepening the kiss as he took her face in one hand, cradling her to him. Gods, but she loved this man! She then pulled back away from him after a moment to stare into his befuddled and thoroughly loved face to say, "Now, be on your best behavior with the pretty kitty and you might get a reward later, kay?"
Jaune blinked at that before shaking his head to grin at her as he said without pause, "But, I thought you already promised me something as a reward earlier?"
She made a hmm noise, tapping at her chin in thought as Blake stopped before them, a hand at her waist as she cocked a hip and stared at them with a twerked eyebrow, before she said coquettishly, a gleam in her eyes, "Maybe, it'll be something else then? Something, that we discussed earlier, hm?"
His already red face flushed even more brightly as he gaped at her for half a second before he straightened, blinking rapidly to say, "Oh. Oh!"
She smirked at that as she finished tucking his tie back in place before turning to her girlfriend as Blake started walking up to her. "Hey, Bla-Mphm!" She started to say only for her girlfriend to take her by the face and smooch her just as passionately and deeply as she had done with Jaune. She found herself once more groaning and growling as Blake deepened the kiss, tilting her head back so she could get some tongue action in.
Then Blake parted from her, taking a step back to say, hand on hip again, "Now, Yang, you play nice on the way back home, and I'll show you how pretty this kitty can be."
Yang blinked up at her stupidly, mouth agape, before saying softly, in a shuddering tone, "Oh, okay. Blake."
Jaune watched in silence, unable to keep the grin from appearing on his face at the PDA, happy for them both. Nor was he able to stop the sudden bulging of his pants as his mind unfortunately drifted to certain, more vulgar thoughts. He coughed nervously as he realized his sudden predicament.
The two turned then to see Jaune grinning at them brightly, while turned to one side with a faint blush on his face. They glanced down to see a noticeable bulge in the front of his pants and twerked their eyebrows at that before giving him a look. He coughed and stuttered as he swayed back and forth in place while swinging his arms, "Well *Cough* Well, that was... something." He started up the stairs then, a thumb raised to point behind as he continued, embarrassed, "I'mma, I'mma gonna go on inside now. See you there, Blake! See you later, Yang!" Before turning and stalking rapidly up the stairs, a flush about his ears.
The two ladies of RWBY then looked back at each other and smiled, giggling slightly together, before they followed Jaune's rear up the stairs with their eyes. He really was cute when he got like that.
/ /
As Blake followed Jaune in, she once again found herself thinking about what to do with him. Or, more importantly, how to do this.
Last time, she had overthought about it, and lost her opportunity to say something, anything to him about, everything. About how he made her feel, made them all feel. She wasn't going to do that again. Not this time.
This time, she'd get through to him.
To that end, studying. She paused as she took in the main seating area, looking for a certain blond mop of hair. On finding him, she smiled before stalking up to him. As she got closer, and he looked up to watch her approach, she subtly shifted into more of a sashay, giving him a catty grin as she watched him stare at her hips before she said on arrival, "So, did you get it out of your system, Stud?"
He coughed at that before giving her a nervous chuckle as he looked away, blushing profusely. She couldn't help the smirk that followed from seeing that. Only for it to turn into a slight frown as she noticed that he had nothing before him on the table. She sighed at that before asking, "Jaune? Where are your books?"
"Huh?" He said, looking up at her while scratching his head nervously before looking back down at the tabletop to state, "Uh, I forgot to bring them?"
She sighed again at that before saying as she took off the satchel she was carrying, "It's fine. We can use mine."
"Oh, okay then," He returned with a faint grin of his own as he slid over just enough to give her room to sit down beside him. She didn't really question that. The benches here were kind of small for two people, but why did he have to be so close?
As the two studied together, largely in silence but for the occasional comment by her to him on what would be on the upcoming tests, over the next couple of hours, Blake began to relax. She found Jaune soothing in that regard. He could just as easily be as loud as Yang, or Ruby or Sun, but he had his quieter moments and she appreciated that.
She inhaled deeply, taking in the quiet of a library, and smelled something, intriguing. She paused at that, frowning, before taking in another breathe to understand what it was she was smelling. While she wasn't like certain Faunus who naturally had a strong sense of smell thanks to their animal traits, like Harold, the Senior from last year with the elephant trunk for a nose, Blake had learned to focus on her sense of smell at times like this.
She sniffed again while closing her eyes. It smelled of the wind, and the road, and that floral shampoo that Yang used that she particularly liked. And, under all of that, was the spicy scent she had come know from Jaune himself. At the realization of that, she felt a heat begin to pull down deep in her center and instinctively crossed her legs at it.
She blinked her eyes open at that and turned to find Jaune giving her a faintly smug smile before he asked, concern in his tone, "You okay there, Blake? You're looking a bit flushed."
She coughed faintly before replying with, "No, no, 'm fine. Here, let's start on the practice exams, yeah?"
He nodded in agreement before leaning in closer to stare at the questions she had made for him, flooding her senses with his... musk. He smugly smiled again as she flushed at that. She frowned at that when he wasn't looking. Oh. Oh, she saw how it was. Okay then. Two could play this game, buster. She thought to herself while giving no outwards signs to her mood.
Now, how to go about this? Preferably, without them being expelled from the library, of course.
She grinned then, faintly, giving a cat-like smile as she subtly placed her hand on his leg. Jaune took no notice of what she was doing at first while he thought over his answers for the current exam. But, when she placed the next test down and pointed at the first question while asking, "Alright now, tell me the answer for this one?" And he answered correctly, she slid her hand up his leg.
He flinched at that for a moment before glancing her way. She made certain that her face was blank as she asked him to answer the next question. He answered again, and she slid her hand up once more. He paused at that, stiffening again, before giving her an assessing look. She obliged him by asking him to answer another question. An easy one that she knew he already knew the correct answer to. He frowned at that, before purposely giving her the wrong answer. She grinned with her mouth closed and slid her hand back to its previous position on his leg, giving it a pat for emphasis.
There was a pause, and a cough, before he asked, "And, uh, the next question? Blake?"
She grinned then, flashing her pretty, white teeth as she told him the question, awaiting his answer. Only this time, he didn't respond. She frowned slightly at that, wondering if he wasn't happy with her and turned to ask him, the question forming on her tongue, only to come to a stuttering mess at the sight of him and that pointed, heated look in his eyes, then, once he was sure he had her attention, he answered the question without looking at the page or his notes.
It reminded her of Adam, but it wasn't the same. When Adam looked at her, he saw only a possession. But that wasn't the look Jaune gave her. It, was more like Yang's, than Adam's. When Yang looked at her, she saw someone she loved and valued, someone she cherished. When Jaune looked at her, he saw her as someone to protect, and to love. She felt her eyes widen at that, at the clear truth of that in those eyes.
She swallowed at that, audibly, and felt something tug loose inside of her. Some final little guard that she had held up against the world, thanks to Adam and her past failures with love, just fall away.
She swallowed again, before moving her hand back up his leg again and gave it a squeeze. He shuddered at that before giving her that heated look again, staring into her own amber eyes, and she knew that he was growing hard again. That alone, thrilled her to no end.
There really was nothing like knowing that someone wanted you. Needed you.
She coughed lightly before moving on to the next question, and then the next, waiting for Jaune's response each time. With every correct answer she moved further up his leg, his thigh, towards that long, hard prize awaiting her between his legs. With every wrong answer, she was forced to slide her hand back down, giving him a faint frown every time she had to do so.
Fortunately, there were are more right answers than wrong ones.
/ /
Jaune barely stifled the groan that leaked out as Blake finally placed a soft, delicate hand on his aching shaft. As it was, one of the librarians still sent a look of concern their way. He made certain to give her a polite smile before turning back to Blake and the next in a maddening series of questions. Some not even pertaining to the quizzes before them!
Like why was Blake asking about his favorite color? Or, what was his favorite activity outside of gaming or talking with Ruby? And, How could Blue be a wrong answer?
"Good," the cat-girl said soothingly as she made small, circular motions of her fingers against the front of his pants while giving him a faint, but clearly coquettish smile as she side-eyed him. "Now, what's the answer to this one?"
He gritted his teeth, silently cursing himself from teasing both her and Yang earlier and gave his answer, not quite thinking about whether or not it was correct. He shuddered as she smirked and began to slide her hand up and down, up and down his shaft, slightly gripping the contours of it as she did so. He couldn't help it as he let out another groan at her administrations, the friction proving to be his undoing as he gave her a pleading look. She merely smiled back and kept up the mind-numbing motions as she went back to the test sheet before her.
He didn't know how much longer he could hold himself back. Honestly, he was feeling a bit lightheaded from all the pleasure, but something was going to have to give-
"Ahem," Came a voice next to them. They looked up to see one of the librarians looming over them and glaring at them over her half moon shaped glasses and a tweet sweater, a pair of small, white cat ears appearing over her salt and pepper hair. "Is something going on here?"
"No, Ma'am," Blake answered, with him muttering an echo to that, as she finally let him and go and slid back over to say, "We were just doing some intensive studying for our End of the Semester Exams. That's all."
Jaune took that moment to flee while he could as Blake continued to converse with the older Faunus, delicately clutching at his groin.
/ /
A bit later, after a rather intense restroom break, he stood by the main entrance, waiting for Blake to get done herself. She had left behind her books and he had dutifully gone back to hold onto them for her.
That bit of chivalry was rewarded with a look of appreciation from her when she saw him standing there, bag in hand. She glided over to him and took it out of his hands as she said, a bit breathlessly, "Thanks, Jaune. You're the best, you know that?"
"Heh, I don't know 'bout that, Blake, but thank you for a, memorable time." He returned with a charming grin after a brief thought on what to say.
She smirked as she said, "Oh, the pleasure was all mine, Jaune." At the sounds of a distinctive motorcycle outside, she waved to him as she turned to stroll outside, saying, "Well, ta-ta for now."
He smiled back as he said, "Till next time, Blake.
/ /
As she went to open the door, a sudden thought took hold of her, and with a smirk on her face Blake suddenly turned and stalked back up to Jaune as he stood there grinning at her. Before he could do anything, or her question her instincts, she grasped him by the tie and jerked him forwards towards her just like Yang had done to kiss passionately, deepening the kiss as she turned her head into it.
Then, just as fast, she stepped away from him with a coquettish smile and purred while she walked out, "Be seeing you, Jaune." She stopped at the door to turn back to his stuttering, blushing form and smirked, cat-like, as she said, "Here's hoping our session next week is just as intense, hm?"
Jaune could only stand there, stupified, unable to comprehend what just happened before swallowing at he realized was to come. "Oh, man," He muttered to himself. "These women are going to be the death of me."
A/N: Yes, Jaune. Yes, they will. Many, many times over.
Welp, that's all for me for now. See you next time. Essiter Out!
