That evening, the owners of the home were on their way back. It turned out this was the home of five Ojamas, each one of a different colour. They worked for their own King in a small kingdom, but liked to live in the forest. So, they travelled back towards their home in the woods after another long shift. However, the five of them stopped in surprise to see the front door was left wide open.
"Alright!" Ojama Black snapped. "Which one 'ave ya knuckle heads forgot to lock the door?!"
"Not me!"
"Not me!"
"It was him," Ojama Blue pointed at Ojama Red.
"Hey!" Ojama Red snapped.
"But that's not good!" Ojama Yellow freaked out. "Someone must've broken in!"
"I hope it's not an ogre!" Ojama Green freaked out.
"What if it's a giant?!" Ojama Yellow gasped.
"Don't be silly!" Ojama Red snapped. "A real giant wouldn't fit in there!"
"Whatever it is," Ojama Black said, "let's take a look!"
"Good idea," Ojama Blue nodded, and the Ojamas proceeded with caution.
When they entered their home, Ojama Yellow turned on the light. The Ojamas gasped to see portions of their food were missing. They also noticed one of the chairs had been used.
"Someone's eaten my bread!" Ojama Red exclaimed.
"Someone's been sitting in my chair!" Ojama Green cried.
"And someone's been sleepin' in my bed!" Ojama Black claimed, whilst the Ojamas stared at him awkwardly.
"...Have they?" Ojama Yellow asked.
"I dunno," Ojama Black shrugged. "But I betcha anythin', they have!"
"Wait!" Ojama Green gasped. "That means I know who broke in! Goldilocks!"
"Goldilocks?!" Ojama Yellow freaked out. "Not her! I met her once!"
"Oh, please, there is no Goldilocks!" Ojama Blue folded his arms. "If it was her, she would be in a house filled with three bears!"
CREAK~!
The Ojamas paused with fright as they heard strange noises upstairs. It sounded like their beds for sure, but they heard a strange moaning noise.
"...So who is currently sleeping upstairs in our beds?!" Ojama Red snapped.
"I think Ojama Green is right!" Ojama Yellow tried to calm his nerves. "It must be Goldilocks!"
"Then let's get 'er!" Ojama Black insisted.
"Hold on!" Ojama Blue objected. "Don't you think it's a stupid move to charge in head on?"
"He has a point," Ojama Red shrugged.
"So, whadda we do?" Ojama Green asked.
"I-I say we tread with caution," Ojama Yellow hesitated, but the Ojamas agreed.
They quietly crept up the stairs, and found themselves before their bedroom door. Ojama Yellow nervously reached for the doorknob and turned it to open the door. Once the door was open, the group slowly tip toed their way in, but stopped in confusion.
Someone was on their beds for sure, but it couldn't have been Goldilocks. They could only see the top of their head.
"That's funny?" Ojama Yellow said. "I don't remember Goldilocks having black hair?"
"Maybe she died it?" Ojama Black asked.
"But Goldilocks has golden hair!" Ojama Green insisted. "Why would she dye it bla—"
"Ugh~…"
The Ojamas freaked out as this person moaned, stretching his arms up. They backed themselves against the wall, watching this person collapse their arms on the bed. They realised whoever this person was, it definitely wasn't Goldilocks. The Ojamas then huddled together, almost scared at the thought who this person was.
"H-Hey…" Ojama Red shivered with nerves. "...W-Who do you think this is?"
"I-I doubt it's our King," Ojama Green shivered too.
"Wait! I remembered something!" Ojama Blue blinked. "In the name of our King, Ojama Yellow has to take lead and inspect!"
"Wait, what?!" Ojama Yellow freaked out, knowing full well Ojama Blue was lying. "He'd never say that!"
"Yes He did," Ojama Blue insisted, and pushed Ojama Yellow towards the centre of the room.
Ojama Yellow raised his head to find himself right in front of the mysterious figure. He shrieked with fright, tears wailing out of his eyes.
"Please, don't eat me! Take my friends! Take our food! Just please! Don't hurt—Huh?" Ojama Yellow paused as he took a proper look at the figure. A young man was there, fast asleep, completely unaware of the noises caused by the Ojamas. But Ojama Yellow hadn't seen a human like this one.
The other Ojamas watched as Ojama Yellow slowly stood up, gazing at the figure. They wondered why a big inspirational smile came across Ojama Yellow's face. So, as a group, they joined Ojama Yellow to take a look at the person. They could see why Ojama Yellow was smiling brightly; this person was a sight to see.
"...Well, what d'ya know?" Ojama Black chuffed.
"...He's beautiful…" Ojama Yellow gasped in awe.
"Let's let him sleep," Ojama Blue suggested. "We can make our own beds for the night."
"You guys can," Ojama Red waved a hand. "I'll wait until it's ready."
"Aw, no ya don't!" Ojama Green snapped. "Let's go!"
As for that, they made their own bed in a corner out of any spare mattresses and blankets they could find. They didn't mind if it felt rough or out of place, they were more than happy to have this human sleep peacefully on their beds.
The sun had fully risen above the house, and the crows started to caw. With the sunlight trying to pass his eyelids, Chazz slowly fluttered his eyes open. His mind tried to gather what had happened, but slowly waking up, he realised he fell asleep. He must've needed that after what happened yesterday. As for that, Chazz sat up, and outstretched his arms with a big yawn. He then rubbed his eyes, and tried to blink himself awake.
"Good morning, Boss!"
Chazz blinked over a voice he hadn't heard before. He looked to his left to see five strange little creatures grinning up at him. Chazz jumped with shock, and sat back towards the back of the beds, facing them.
"What the?!" Chazz stared. "Who are you?!"
"We're your new friends!" the yellow creature praised. "Your new pals! Best friends forever!" Chazz stared whilst raising an eyebrow.
"Uh...Let me rephrase that," Chazz raised a hand. "What are you?"
"We're the Ojamas!" Ojama Yellow praised, each Ojama calling their colour:
"Ojama Yellow!"
"Green!"
"Black!"
"Blue!"
"Red!"
"And we're the Ojama Brothers!" they cried in unison. Chazz blinked at them as they posed in a way to say 'ta-da!'.
"...Okay?" Chazz asked.
"Whadda bout you?" Ojama Green asked. "Who're you?"
"I'm Chazz Princeton?" Chazz raised an eyebrow.
"Chazz Princeton?! The Prince?!" the Ojamas cried in surprise.
"Yeah."
"Well, it's a pleasure to have you here, Your Highness," Ojama Blue bowed.
"No, it isn't," Ojama Red folded his arms. "Isn't his mother that terrible Queen?"
"She's my Step Mother," Chazz frowned. "My mother died when I was a baby."
"...Oh...My bad…" Ojama Red felt ashamed of himself, whilst the other Ojamas tutted at him, shaking their heads.
"Well, sorry I crashed in your home," Chazz apologised, "but I needed somewhere to stay the night."
"But why out here?" Ojama Yellow asked. "Shouldn't you be back at the Palace?"
"Well…" Chazz sunk his head low. "...This might sound crazy...but it turns out my Step Mother wants me killed…"
"WHAT?!" the Ojamas shrieked in shock.
"You?!" Ojama Yellow freaked out.
"Why, that wicked old hag!" Ojama Black shouted offended.
"I told ya she was terrible!" Ojama Red stated loudly.
"You believe that?" Chazz asked.
"Well, we knew she was a cruel woman," Ojama Blue shrugged, "but we'd never thought she'd go that far."
"Whadda nasty piece a work!" Ojama Green frowned.
"How do you even put up with her?" Ojama Red asked. Chazz blinked, but sadly looked away.
"I...don't know…" Chazz said sadly. The Ojamas looked at Chazz, feeling sorry for him.
"So...do you not have anywhere else to go?" Ojama Blue asked. Chazz shock his head.
"But I'm sure there's some place else I can go…" Chazz gave a fake smile. "Thanks for having me, but—"
"NO!" the Ojamas jumped on top of Chazz, making him fall back on top of the beds.
"Hey! What are you doing?!" Chazz complained.
"We're not letting you go back out there!" Ojama Yellow stated. "You can stay here for as long as you need!"
"Huh?" Chazz asked.
"Of course!" Ojama Blue added. "You should be safe here!"
"But you can do all the housework for us in the process!" Ojama Red stated.
"OJAMA RED!"
"What?" Ojama Red shrugged. Chazz looked at them, but had a little thought; he wasn't sure what else was out there, and the Queen could easily find him wherever he'd go. Maybe staying with these creatures might not be so bad.
"...Alright," Chazz nodded. "Fine...if you insist, I'll stay." The Ojamas gasped happily at Chazz, and jumped up to cheer.
"Oh, you're gonna love it here, Boss!" Ojama Yellow praised. "We're gonna have so much fun!" Chazz cringed slightly wondering what he got himself into.
