Chapter 19

Dark Rangers

Waking up in a lavish chamber, Yuito jerked himself up. "Good morning, my love.", Naomi murmured beside him. "Naomi, do you remember when we arrived here at the Dark Hollow?", Yuito asked. "To be honest, it's getting harder and harder to remember anything. But I vaguely remember, yes.", Naomi said. "Still, we must keep sending Another Riders into the world to ensure that Jack awakens as Ohma Zi-O. When he does, all of Aionios shall become his grand and holy kingdom; well, as holy as a Demon King's kingdom can be anyway.", Shiden said as he walked through the door. "Indeed.", Naomi said. "Besides, Shiden, what brings you to our chamber today?", Yuito asked. "Don't give me that. Anyway, Yuito, Lothor is expecting you in the Grand Hall. If you've forgotten where it is, Mesogog and Sledge can show you where it is.", Shiden said as he walked out. "Still, best to get it over with sooner rather than later.", Yuito said. "Agreed, dear.", Naomi said. As he got out of the bed, Yuito walked over to the mirror and sighed. "Once he awakens, there won't be a need to pretend anymore.", Yuito thought.

As he walked down a marble corridor, Shiden examined the mechanised belt around his waist. "How is the Psycho Driver?", Taiga asked. "Truth be told, it's not bad. Could use a little precision engineering in some places but it is overall functional. Also, it's compatible with my powers as Ramuh's Dominant so I can't really complain.", Shiden replied. "How long has it been since Clive gained the powers of the Eight Eikons, Phoenix, Garuda, Ramuh, Titan, Bahamut, Shiva, Leviathan and Alexander?", Kouta asked as he walked out of an open doorway. "To be honest, I can't really say. Not only because time has completely stopped since the Convergence but also because we generally stopped counting when the Eikons kept manifesting since the day Ultima created them. Besides, now we no longer need to worry about measuring Jack's accession as Kamen Rider Ohma Zi-O, we can simply relax and let the Time Jackers do their thing. After all, it is only thanks to their technology that we can now produce Another Watches in massive quantities, well, after we combined their technology with that of Chaldea's but still.", Taiga said. "I hope Jack awakens as Ohma Zi-O soon, though. If he doesn't, then we can kiss our plans to remake all of reality goodbye.", Haseo said as he strolled through. "But we can use the DenLiner to rewrite time if Jack refuses, can't we?", Shiden asked. "To be perfectly honest, that might not actually be possible.", Dohalim said. "How so?", Kouta asked. "Think about it. You're talking about using a time machine to alter the history of someone who exists beyond time. That is to say that Jack does exist in the world but is not actually part of it, like an alien being from beyond the stars visiting another world.", Dohalim said. "And not to mention that even if we were to confiscate the Ziku-Driver from Jack, there's no guarantee that the DenLiner would work, given that Jack comes from another world and likely operates on the rules of his own home reality still. Even if the DenLiner was to work, we can't guarantee that Jack himself would be rewritten to be more…malleable to our whims.", Shionne said. "And besides, we all know what Extra Class Servants are like too.", Faldeus said. "True enough.", Jin said.

Entering a serene corridor, Hanabi, Tsugumi, Gemma and Luka looked around it eagerly. "So is this where we shall be reborn?", Tsugumi asked. "I believe so.", Luka said. As Yuito entered, the 5 then caught the sight of Swartz entering. "Lord Swartz, how are you feeling on this frabjous day?", Luka asked. "Not too bad.", Swartz said. Opening the container he was holding, Swartz then walked over to the 5, revealing a set of 5 bracelets with inlaid gems- a ruby, a sapphire, an emerald, an onyx and a pink gem. "And what are these?", Gemma asked. "These are your morphers- the Scarlet Morphers that you 5 Scarlet Rangers shall use.", Swartz said. "You mean us become evil Power Rangers?", Hanabi asked. "Essentially, yes.", Swartz replied. As Swartz's words sunk in, Hanabi then unleashed an excited squeal. "What's gotten into you?", Luka asked. "I mean, it's not often you see an evil Power Ranger. They're quite cool, I must admit.", Tsugumi said. "Indeed. And it is as these 5 Evil Rangers that you are to awaken Jack Sebastian Arnold as the Sovereign and Kamen Rider Ohma Zi-O. Failure is no option for any of you; if you fail, that will be your only and last reminder and you shall be stripped of your statuses. Am I clear?", Swartz said. "Crystal.", Yuito said. Giving a wry smile, Swartz then said, "Now, take the morphers and receive your destinies!". Taking up the Time Jacker's "request" of sorts, Yuito, Hanabi, Tsugumi, Gemma and Luka reached in and took the bracelets, the bracelets themselves unleashing a sinister purple burst of electricity that shocked the 5 and covered them in a sinister black and dark purple glow as wicked smiles formed on their faces. "Now you have all awakened as the Scarlet Rangers, the time has come for you to go into the world and create Another Riders haphazardly.", Swartz said. "With pleasure.", Luka said with a psychotic smirk on his face. As they left, Swartz then said, "Now, sister, it is time for you and your friend Geiz to also support Jack's assession as Sovereign. For it is only with the powers of Kamen Rider Tsukuyomi and Kamen Rider Geiz that he shall become complete.". "Still, it seems a waste to send 5 members of the OSF on what feels like grunt work.", Heure said. "Well, given how Kasane is more interested in having sex with her girlfriend Arashi, Shiden is doing nothing useful and Kyoka and Kagero have deluded themselves into thinking they are good parental figure material, desperate times come for desperate measures.", Swartz said. "True enough. Still, given that Jack has already acquired the powers of the Build, Ex-Aid, Fourze, Faiz, Wizard, OOO and Gaim Ridewatches, I'd say he is awakening just fine.", Heure said as he looked at the glowing Another Watch in his hand. "Indeed he is.", Swartz said.

Approaching a rundown house, Anby sighed. "What's eating you, Anby?", Nicole asked. "Nothing in particular. I'm just thinking that, since Sis and Trigger are already investigating where Mockingbird is hiding, we might need to activate the Ghost Another Watch soon. After all, you know that Jack will need the power of all 19 Ridewatches to ascend the throne as Kamen Rider Ohma Zi-O and as Our Sovereign.", Anby replied. Walking up to her, Nicole gently stroked Anby's hair before saying, "Oh, don't you fret. Jack will awaken soon. That's a promise.", before lovingly kissing and hugging her. Hugging Nicole back, Anby then felt a strange chill down her spine. "No!", she said. "What's wrong, my love?", Nicole asked. "I don't know if you feel it too, but Yggdrasill Tower is going to activate its defences soon.", Anby said. "And that's a bad thing, right?", Billy asked. "Well, given that we're in a Hollow with a direct connection to the Helheim Forest, it might be. Well, we can just simply escape to Yggdrasill Tower's basement through a Crack but as we're in a Hollow, the Crack might be closed. But that's strange; I didn't think that the Inves would attack right now.", Anby said. "Still, we need to get to Zawame City before the tower's defences are fired up. Is that what you're getting at?", Nicole asked. "Kinda, yeah.", Anby said before a fissure opened up. "Oh, just in time too.", Nicole said before the three Cunning Hares went through. Finding themselves back in the basement of Yggdrasill Tower, Anby said, "I can't believe that just worked.". "Well, I can, anyway.", Mitsuzane said as he walked in, holding the Ghost Another Watch. "And just who are you going to use it on?", Ragna asked. "Why, what a stupid question. You, of course!", Mitsuzane said as he pressed the button on top of the watch, causing a distorted voice to yell out, "Ghost!". Without missing a beat, he then shoved the Another Watch into Ragna's body, causing him to warp and twist into Another Ghost. "It never gets any easier watching it.", Billy said. "Still, gotta hand it to you for taking initiative in making Another Riders, Micchy.", Anby said. "Please, you're making me blush.", Mitsuzane said. "You understand now what you have to do now, don't you?", Nicole asked the Another Rider. "Loud and clear. I will make my son awaken as the Demon King of Time or die trying. I shall also use my powers as an Another Rider to force him to use the Ghost Ridewatch.", Another Ghost said. Sighing in relief, Mitsuzane said, "Well, at least one person in Kamen Rider Ohma Zi-O's ancestry has their head on straight.". "I'll say.", Anby said. As Another Ghost left through a dark portal, Mitsuzane then said, "Still, I wonder if my brother will like it if I give Lady Miyabi the Zangetsu Another Watch.". "I think he'll understand.", Nicole said. "I hope you're right.", Anby said.
