~Anastasia's POV~
"I'm gonna pay you back for everything you've done." Natsu said with his fists, "You made a big mistake messing with Fairy Tail."
Gajeel glared at Natsu with anger.
"Do you know who I am, you piece of crap?!" Gajeel said in anger as he is going to punch Natsu, "Iron Dragon: Hard Fist!"
Natsu shields Gajeel's punch with his, and overpowered him.
"This is the end! Flame Lotus: Fire Dragon Fist!" Natsu declared as he punches Gajeel.
"This is for Levy, Jet, Droy, Nab, Macao, Gramps, Erza, Stacey... and Lucy!" Natsu said as he continued to punch Gajeel, "This is for them...and for our guild you destroyed!" As Natsu continued to punch Gajeel and the wall of the building were torn down and Gajeel was thrown out the building and into broken down concrete.
"Natsu!" Lucy called out.
"Natsu!" I called out.
"Natsu!" Happy added as well. As we saw him looking over Gajeel who was lying down.
"Natsu won!" Happy added happily.
"Now we're even..." Natsu said as he lay backwards.
"Natsu!" I said to him as Kirara fly down to him and I move closer and slow started to heal him.
"Pretty much can't move after that..." Natsu said to us, "but thanks."
"Sheesh... you sure know how to go overboard...huh." I said with sheepish smile.
"Aye! That's Natsu for you!" Happy said with a smile and Natsu grinned.
~No One's POV~
The building all around was being crumbled around between Erza and Jose.
"What an unruly dragon." Jose said with his eyes closed with smirked on his face.
Erza who was panting, "It looks like you hadn't counted on Natsu's fighting abilities. Little did you know he's as powerful as I am, if not more!" Erza declared pointing her sword at Jose.
"Don't be so modest, Titania Erza." Jose said, "
Your magic is spectacular indeed. You're actually the first wizard to last this long against me in a fight. It could have been an even better match, too, had you not taken damage from the Jupiter."
Erza was just glaring at Jose.
"I cannot stand the fact that there are more powerful wizards like you in Makarov's guild." Jose said as he pointed his finger at Erza as the air show an attack that fling Erza across a wall.
"Do you know why I didn't finish Makarov off?" Jose said casting his dark magic at Erza, as the spell was casted and created dust clouds and then Erza merged from the dust, "Despair!"
The spell was casted but Erza was able to dodge the attack, Jose continued to cast his spell at her and Erza continued to dodging.
"It was to put him in despair!" Jose said with smirk on his face, "How will he feel when he wakes and sees that his beloved guild and
his dear comrades have been wiped out?" As he chuckled, "He'll be grief-stricken, I'm sure...Once I've given him despair and sorrow, then I will destroy him. It will not be a pleasant death... He will suffer, suffer, and suffer even more as he withers and dies!"
"You villain!" Erza screamed at him as she attacked him but Jose dodged her attack and appeared behind her.
"Phantom Lord was always be the number 1 guild. It had the greatest magic in the kingdom, the greatest personnel, the most money... But Fairy Tail has suddenly grown much stronger in recent years. Anastasia, Erza, Laxus, Mystogan... Those names even reached our town, and stories about the Salamander
spread throughout the land. At some point, Phantom Lord and Fairy Tail became the two guilds that represent this kingdom. I can't stand it. Your guild was always feeble as hell!"
"Silence!" Erza yelled at him as she attacked him, but Jose dodged her attack.
"Are you saying your pathetic jealousy is what triggered this war?!" Erza said as she pointed her sword at him.
"Jealousy? Nothing of the sort. I wanted to show everyone our superiority!" Jose told Erza.
"What a...What a worthless reason!" Erza said with anger as she attacked Jose who smirked at her as he dodged all her attacks, Jose cast his dark magic at her and disarmed her sword, and cast a another spell to capture her as the dark magic wrapped around her as Erza screamed in pain.
"I've never been fond of your guild, but it was something trivial that triggered this war... A job request to take the daughter of the Heartfilia Concern back home." Jose said as Erza grunted in pain.
'Lucy?!' Erza thought about her.
"A daughter of one of the richest families in the country in Fairy Tail? How big must you get before you're satisfied?!" Jose said as he continued to hurt Erza.
"If you bastards can use the Heartfilia's money as you wish, there's no mistaking that you could gain power greater than ours. That, I cannot allow." Jose said as he continued to hurt Erza more.
Then Erza grinned at him, "The very fact you're making a fuss over who's superior or not is deplorable. But more than anything, I'm appalled
at how poor your intelligence gathering is."
"Do tell."
"Lucy came to us as a runaway! She can't use her family's money! She rents a place for 70,000 a month, works for a living just like we do, fights alongside us, laughs with us, cries with us...She's a wizard in our guild, like any one of us! She triggered the war, you say?!" Erza said angrily.
"We would rather die than betray one of our own!"
"The daughter of the Heartfilia family, you say?! Just as flowers can't choose where to bloom... children can't choose their parents!" Erza said, "What would you know about Lucy and the tears she's shed?!" As she tried to break free.
"I'll learn soon enough!" Jose said, "Do you think I'm going to hand the girl over to her father just like that? I'm going to keep her like a pet until I've bled him dry. I will have all of the Heartfilia fortune!"
"Curse you!" Erza screamed angrily.
"I wouldn't struggle if I were you. You'll only make things worse. Now, then! Let's get this cruel show underway!" Jose said as he cast more dark magic, "I'm going to let the Fairy Tail riffraff get a good look at you, my proud Titania. The rest of the scum will surely surrender once they see you in your pitiable state!"
"Y-You're loathsome to the core!" Erza questioned him.
"You'll be looking pretty wretched yourself in a moment." Jose said as he chuckled at Erza's pain. Erza screamed in pain.
'If I'm a liability to the guild, then...' Erza thought as she glanced towards her sword that's on the side, 'The rest is up to you...Natsu...' As the sword was going to pierce Erza.
Then a storm was heard outside, then Erza felt a breeze of light then her sword stop, then her armor was being rebuilt.
"This is..." Erza trailed off, then Jose's dark magic disappeared as Erza slowly descend from the air. Jose glared at who was stopping his attack, and it was Master Makarov.
"Much blood has been shed...Children's blood... Children have suffered and shed tears
because of their uncouth parents... On both sides. But it has gone far enough. This must be ended!" Makarov said.
"Master...!" Erza said happy to see him better. As Makarov and Jose stare at each other.
Then Jose's eyes turn black with yellow eyes, "You wish for a catastrophe then?" As he started to cast his dark magic. Then Makarov started his light spell as well.
"If it's for my guild's sake, then yes...!"
Then Gray grunted as he open his eyes. "What is this magic?! It's warm and somehow feels familiar..." he questioned, as he looked up to see what was happening. Jose cast his magic at Makarov who counter the light magic back.
"Everyone get away from here!" Makarov ordered everyone.
"Master!" Gray yelled.
"What are you doing here?!" Elfman said in shock.
"Do as he says!" Erza yelled at them. As she run away as well. "Let's go!"
"B-But...!"
"Nee-chan, can you stand?!" Elfman asked his older sister.
"Now that you're here, I've no business with these small fries. However, I will put an end to them after I'm through with you." Jose said.
"We'll only hinder our master if we stay here! Let's leave everything to him!" Erza said as everyone but Makarov and Jose run away from the their fight.
"It's been six years since we last met face to face like this. Little did I know how large Fairy Tail would grow during that time... It's in ruins now, though." Jose said as he mock Makarov about the building where the guild of Fairy Tail was.
Makarov who was angry by his comment, "A guild is not its physical form! It is the harmony of its people!"
"Still, this is nice, wouldn't you say? Being able to settle which of us is the superior Saint Wizard like this..." Jose said as both him and Makarov duke at each other.
"You have my gratitude, my children. You did very well. Be proud that you're in Fairy Tail!" Makarov said.
Outside a storm was surrounding the building that was in the water with a circle around it as the water twirls around it.
"What the...?!"
"The sky!"
"Look out!"
"The ground!"
"An earthquake?!"
"What's goin' on?!"
As Jose and Makarov were duke against one of another with their magic differences of dark and light.
As Jose and Makarov attacked each other, and it affect them, then Jose screamed, "Dead Wave!" As the attack was dark pillar that was thrown at Makarov who counter with a light beam. And it caused a big bang surrounding the area.
Makarov and Jose continued to fight. Then outside, Natsu and Stacey were thrown back by the Big Bang. As both of them were thrown into another area.
"Natsu! Stacey!"
"Are you guys okay?!" Lucy asked them.
"Yeah..."
"We are okay." Stacey said.
"What was that just now?" Happy asked.
"Only Gramps has magic like this!" Natsu said as Stacey nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, he is kicking that Jose's butt." Stacey said with a grin on her face.
"Impressive." Makarov said, "Such powerful magic at such a young age...You truly are fit to hold the title of a Saint Wizard."
Jose stare at him. "If you had used your magic properly and served as an example for the even younger generation, the magic world would have benefited greatly." Makarov continued his lecture to him.
"You're lecturing me now?" Jose questioned him.
"As per Fairy Tail tribunal convention, I will give you to the count of three. Kneel to me!" Makarov declared to him.
"Huh?" Jose said with mocking face expression.
"One!" Makarov counted down.
"Of all the things you could say, you want me to kneel?!"
"Two!" Makarov said as his hands were turned to a hand position.
"You want the greatest guild in the kingdom to kneel to you?! Ridiculous! I am your equal in battle!" Jose said, using his magic as well, "No, the fact I can be heartless makes me stronger!"
"Three!" Makarov continued doing his hand position to a powerful spell.
"You are the ones who should kneel! Begone! I will turn you to dust and wipe you from history, Fairy Tail!" Jose yelled at him.
"Your time is up!" Makarov declared.
"Prepare to be obliterated, Fairy Tail!" Jose said as he cast his magic at Makarov.
"Fairy Law... activate!" Makarov said as he cast Fairy Law at Jose.
As outside who a bright light shined above the building.
"Wh-What is this light...?!" Alzack questioned the bright light.
"It's so bright!" Bisca questioned as well.
The shades were disappearing, "The Shades!"
"Just the Shades...are disappearing one after another!"
"But we're perfectly fine!"
"This gentle light..."
"It's Fairy Law." Erza said as she walked ahead a little bit.
"Fairy Law?" Gray questioned.
"It vanquishes darkness with sacred light. It only vanquishes what the caster acknowledges as an enemy. It's an ultimate spell, considered
one of the most legendary to exist." Erza explained the spell.
As everyone stare in shock. Then the scene went back to Makarov and Jose, Jose was in shock by the spell and shaking in fear.
"Never come near Fairy Tail again." Makarov said to him, "The council won't be able to ignore this,
given this level of mayhem. Looks like saving your own hide should be your main concern now." Then the air show Aria's hands.
"Same goes for me, too."
'So sad...!He's wide open, just like before! He's mine!' Aria thought to his victory but Makarov punched him without looking back.
"It's over now. We've settled things between our guilds. If you keep pushing for more, I will "exterminate" all of you and leave no trace." Makarov said, "Take Jose back home! Right this minute!"
"We won! We beat Phantom!"
Makarov walked out to his children, "This victory was not by my hand alone!This victory belongs to our entire family..."
"Way to go, Gramps!"
