Lithuania hummed a song as he stacked the fish. It was a good haul, but he still looked for the best fish.
"Yo, Lithuania."
Lithuania grinned before he forced the smile to a more polite size as he turned to the nation that he knew would be coming.
"Oh, hello Netherlands," Lithuania said. "The usual?"
Netherlands nodded, and he waved his hand to allow some of his people to take the fish as he moved to pay. Lithuania pretended as though he didn't know that Netherlands would salt and resell the fish at a higher price. He was just glad that he could spend a little time with Netherlands.
"Oh, and here," Netherlands said, before he handed something to Lithuania.
"What's this?" Lithuania asked, raising the ornament of a wolf.
"It's to thank you for doing business with me every day."
Lithuania beamed. A small gift from Netherlands…
"You're very welcome," Lithuania said. "And thank you. It's beautiful."
"I thought you would like the wolf, since…" Netherlands started, before he shook his head. "Never mind. See you tomorrow."
Lithuania smiled as he watched Netherlands walk away. He wondered if Netherlands knew how special this was to him.

As Netherlands walked away, he felt his face heat up. Why did he say that to Lithuania? He was grateful, yes, but there was more to it.
Belgium had asked him why he always bought fish from Lithuania, since he could buy from just about anyone else. But he wanted to buy from Lithuania. He didn't try to swindle Netherlands, and there was just something about him. Netherlands loved coming every day, just to see Lithuania, even if only for a little while.
He hoped that he didn't embarrass himself too much.
The moment I saw the pairing Netherlands/Lithuania on my list, I just thought of the episode in the anime where Netherlands buys fish from Lithuania, and decided to expand on that, since Lithuania explains that Netherlands comes every day.
