Señor Ortiz

Luna stayed for another few days before moving on with the promise to return for the holidays so they could head to France. Draco and Harry added things to a folder each for the wedding for now. They would find common ground later.

Draco closed his eyes as he breathed in slowly to combat his building nerves. His Master would be coming over in less than a week, and he needed to ask Andromeda if Harry would be okay with the traditional first gift in courting among wix. He rubbed his face and headed out of the Lab

"You wanted to talk to me?" Andromeda asked as he walked into the kitchen.

Draco nodded. "You know what the traditional courting gift is," he said.

Andromeda smiled at him. "I do," she said. "You want to give him jewellery?"

"That is normally what we would give. I would prefer giving him something he will wear. I know he uses his bracelets for things, so I don't want anything that would get in the way of that. Would he like a necklace of some kind, would he prefer a ring."

"Nothing on his hands," Andromeda said. "Your bands will be the only exception to that."

"Would he pierce his ears?" Draco asked.

"You will have to ask him?" Andromeda said. "I know that is not what you want to hear, but I cannot tell you if he would modify his body that way."

Draco sighed. "Yeah, I'll ask him," he said.

They headed over to the school and picked their boys up.

"What's wrong dad?" Scorpius asked.

Draco sighed. "Nothing son. I'm just worried about Master coming by," he said. "Don't worry about it. Harry is helping me." He wrapped his arms around Harry as he came home. "Do you know what the traditional first gift is?" he asked.

Harry smiled. "Having some problems, love?" he asked.

"I want to get something you will wear?" Draco said. "So often the courting jewellery just ends up in a box somewhere. I want you to wear it." He wrapped his arms around Harry. "Is there anything you definitely would not wear?" he asked. "Think normal things. Bracelets I know you wear. Necklace, rings, earrings. Is there anything you would not wear?"

"Nope," Harry said. "I think you could get me anything and I would wear it. I would look into some way to weave some of my wards into whatever you give me rather than the bracelets I wear now, just so I don't need to wear more bracelets than necessary, but you can get me anything. I'm fine with that."

Draco smiled. "Thank you," he said. He kissed Harry before they headed into the living room to join their sons.

Harry looked around the kitchen slowly. The food was ready. All of that was done, and he had brought forward the dinning room just for this occasion. He loved this house. Thankfully, he hadn't needed to do much for the dinning room to make it presentable, though he considered changing it later. It wasn't a room he would use unless they had guests, so he saw no reason to have it around all the time. He sighed as his gaze trailed towards the bedrooms.

Draco was a nervous wreck. Harry realised that he probably should do something about that before it got out of hand. He was glad Andromeda had taken Scorpius and Teddy with her to Frengale. Their sons would not be helping Draco's nerves right now. He tapped into the wards and checked on Draco, realising that he needed to go calm him down. He teleported over and wrapped his arms around his Prince. He checked the time before slamming Draco up against a wall, kissing him roughly as he pushed Draco's underwear down. His knees hit the floor as Draco hardened and he continued worshipping his body.

"Fuck, Harry!" Draco groaned. His head fell back against the wall as heat engulfed him. He moaned and buried his fingers in Harry's hair. It felt so good. He was breathing heavily, wishing Harry could hear the sounds escaping him. His fingers tightened in Harry's hair.

Harry smiled when Draco shuddered as he came. He cleaned him up before getting back on his feet. "Now, how about you head through a shower and I pick your clothes for you. Or do you need me to go with you at the risk of running late just because you will not calm down?"

Draco chuckled breathily. "How about you threaten me with something I won't enjoy," he said.

"You won't enjoy not being presentable when he gets here, so how about you go clean up so we can get you ready," Harry said.

Draco pushed away from the wall and headed into the bathroom. He knew Harry was right. Thankfully, he also knew Harry had made sure they had time before he decided this was the best way of handling things. He let the warm water spray down his body, calming his frazzled nerves. When he left the bathroom, he looked at the robes Harry had picked for him. It showed that his fiancé had been taught fashion at some point and was keeping at least somewhat up to date. Thankfully, the wixen world did not change as quickly as the muggle one seemed to. He was pulling his shirt on when Harry walked back into the room. He must have used another bathroom, as all he wore was a simple silk robe.

Harry walked up to Draco and helped him button his shirt. "Love you," he said.

Draco smiled as he watched Harry and himself in the mirror again. It was just something about this. He had seen his parents do this, but somehow he felt like Harry was far more loving than Narcissa had ever been. He might very well be wrong about that, but there was just something genuine about the way Harry's fingers brushed against him. It might just be that they were both mages. "Thank you," he said as Harry finished. "Now, let me help you."

Harry smiled. "Sure," he said. He didn't mind Draco returning the favour. He smiled at him. He seemed to have calmed down. He moved his head up as Draco did his tie.

Draco kissed Harry before stepping back. "We have twenty minutes to spare, that is good," he said after checking the time.

Harry reached out and took his hands before he started fidgeting. "Let's head to the living room and look through what we have in our folders, just so you have something else to think about, my Prince," he said. He summoned the folders and sat down with Draco. "Do you have an idea for overall colours or theme?" he asked.

Draco looked at his swatches and what he had been considering. "I want a classical wedding, though I prefer the look of Blackbird Manor to Malfoy Manor. Could we maybe do the reception as one and the ceremony as the other?"

"Whiter and brighter Ceremony since we will spend less time there?" Harry asked. He wasn't against the idea. "I was going to suggest we hold the wedding in the great halls of Gringotts because I can rent those. Unless you really want to be outside?"

Draco's eyes widened. "No, I would love that," he said. "Are the halls themed?" he asked.

Harry nodded. Since he had warded all of them, he knew what they looked like. "They are inspired by different eras. The Greek hall or the Islamic hall are both quite bright. I can show you the halls. There are about twenty different ones, and they will be quite glad we are asking this far in advance."

"Then I don't know if I want to decide anything until I have seen them," Draco said.

Harry smiled. "Then I will bring you," he said. "I just have to make sure they are empty, though they are seldom used before midday." He took their folders. "Is there anything I need to consider regarding Master Ortiz?"

"He was Snape's Master, so some things about him might seem familiar," Draco said.

"Well, that shouldn't be too hard to handle," Harry said. "Please sign for me if needed. I don't mind my dependency on you to come across. If he has any ability to read aura or feel magic, he will be able to tell that I'm powerful."

Draco wasn't worried about Harry, knowing fully well that neither of them were going to hold their wells for this. "Do I introduce you?" he asked.

"No," Harry said. "I'll deal with that." He checked the time. "He will arrive soon," he said.

Draco straightened and took a deep breath. This was the first time he was in charge of something like this, and he didn't want to mess it up. At least they only had one guest. The only problem with that was that any mistakes would be far more visible. He felt the portkey arriving and headed outside to meet his Master.

"Master Ortiz, I hope the portkey wasn't too rough on you," Draco said as he walked up to his Master. "Welcome to Blackbird Manor." He was so glad to be able to say that, knowing that his home had history and people knew about it.

"It was certainly better than normal; goblins have always been better at making them," Master Ortiz said as they headed towards the large house. "This place is the home of the…?"

"Black Family, sir," Draco said, wondering if his Master just didn't know. "Would you like something to drink?" He walked them inside and offered to aid his Master with his outer robe. His eyes widened momentarily as he saw Harry standing by a window clearly connected to the wards. He wondered what had caused him to do that now.

"A whiskey certainly wouldn't hurt," Master Ortiz said. His eyes danced over to the man by the window. Knowing that this home belonged to the Black Family, he could only guess that this man was in fact a Black. Though, he was aware of Draco's heritage as well. A glass of amber liquid was handed to him, and he sat down in a comfortable armchair.

"So, Master, what is the latest issue with your suppliers?" Draco asked. "Have you managed to sort it out?"

Master Ortiz looked from the man by the window to his former apprentice. "Lousy, the lot of them. I still haven't received what I paid for. You would think the Crows would know how to deliver high quality product," he said calmly.

"They would," Harry said calmly as he walked up to them as sat down next to Draco. "If what you have been dealing with are true crows and not an impostor group." He didn't like this. If someone was acting like a crow but wasn't one, he had to intervene. "I am Master Warder Hydrus Black, Lord of House Black. Welcome to our home, Master Ortiz. I apologise for not greeting you right away. For some reason, the wards acted up as you arrived, and I saw fit to handle the issue. I hope you feel safe under our wards."

Master Ortiz raised an eyebrow. Now this was an interesting man. He had provided the home, yet he was seated to Draco's left. He had clearly said their home and their wards, so they were a couple, as proven by the fact that Draco had placed a hand against Hydrus neck. Master Ortiz looked between the two. They were comfortable this way, so this was not an act. "A Master Warder. I do not think I have heard of you, but I also haven't looked for a new warder in a long time. Have you done any work of note?"

"Gringotts, Hogwarts, Private estates of varying sizes, though most would prefer not to be mentioned as it is bad form," Harry said. "As well as the underwater hotel in Norway."

"Interesting venues and varied work," Master Ortiz said. "You must be quite good to get jobs of that calibre."

Harry bowed his head. "I do try not to boast. I certainly don't need to," he said. He smiled as Draco took control of the conversation after that. He didn't mind. This was not his master. He was just there to buff Draco. He felt Draco's fingers move along his neckline slowly. He knew the image they were portraying, and it seemed like Draco's Master saw it too. If the way he looked at them was any indicator.

Eventually, Draco rose and offered a hand to Harry. They showed Master Ortiz to the dining room, and Harry summoned the appetizer.

"I must say," Master Ortiz said. "That I did not expect this." He indicated between his two hosts. "You finally realised that you have to live your own life. That is good. Blaming others for your misfortune isn't helpful in the long run."

"I guess that is true. I was trying to hold everything together without realising just how badly things were falling apart. Hydrus showed up at the right moment. He helped me gain the perspective I was lacking," Draco said. "He has been less than pleased with several aspects of my life and has given me the strength to deal with them."

"Partners tend to bring things into perspective," Master Ortiz said. "You are not the first of my apprentices that need aid from a partner to put their foot down." He was no fool. He knew what this kind of intervention meant. It had happened enough times in the past. "Usually their partners are more vocal, though."

Harry smiled softly. "During my apprenticeship, I was treated as a goblin youth. I know how to handle restrictions. I also don't fight battles Draco is fully able to fight on his own," he said as he banished the appetizer and brought in the main course. "Yelling at you isn't really going to be helpful. If I truly thought of you as a threat, there are far simpler ways of dealing with that."

Master Ortiz raised an eyebrow as a small smile spread over his lips. He liked this young man. He had spunk, and he knew how to direct it. It was also fairly clear he would boost Draco to fight his own battles, rather than take over, if the way they had acted so far was any indication. They would do alright with Draco's parents. He had sort of been waiting for Draco to gain the backbone he needed to stand up to his father properly. He had been proud when Draco took his son and moved out. This was even better. "I must give my compliments to the chef," he said. "This truly is remarkable."

"Thank you," Harry said.

Master Ortiz hid his surprise. It would seem Lord Black was not the standard Lord. He felt like he was a bit short on information, but then again he probably wouldn't be interacting with them much in the future. He didn't see Draco keeping contact, and he couldn't say he blamed him. They spoke for a while longer as they finished the food, and then Ortiz thanked Draco and headed off.

"The idea of Crows not doing what they should, worry me," Harry said. He kissed Draco's cheek. "I'll be right back, I need to report this."

Draco started cleaning after them. He removed the dinning room again, since they didn't really need it. Harry showed back up a moment later and wrapped his arms around him. "Are you willing to aid me with these Crows?" he asked. He had requested the allowance for his fiancé to join him. He needed Draco for this; he certainly didn't know Spanish, nor did any of the available Crows at the moment, but he knew Draco spoke the language.

Draco turned around slowly. "You have been asked to deal with it?" he asked.

Harry nodded. "I have," he said. "I don't speak Spanish, though, and your master's previous summons was quite clear."

Draco sighed and nodded. "Have you informed Andromeda?" he asked.

"I will do so now," Harry said. He set the rest of the dishes to deal with themselves before heading off.

Andromeda sighed and shook her head as she listened to Harry. She knew this might happen. She was not happy about it, and she wasn't sure what to think about Draco going with Harry. "Come back. The both of you," she said.

"I'll be in touch," Harry said.

Draco had changed as Harry talked to Andromeda. "Are we leaving now?" he asked.

Harry nodded. "Yes we are, pack some clothes," he said. He kissed Draco before changing out of his fancy robes. He took Draco's bag and packed his own things in to before slinging it over his shoulder. "I need you to come across as a Master willing to get his hands dirty," he said.

"You mean you need me to play myself?" Draco said with amusement in his voice.

"Kind of," Harry said. "I'm going to act mercenary bodyguard."

"That makes me feel better," Draco said. Harry grabbed his arm and teleported them over to a Nation location in Madrid. They needed to head southwest to Albuquerque. They just needed a reason to head that way first.

Harry followed Draco around as his fiancé checked ingredients and spoke to people. He handed Harry certain things along the way and eventually pulled him along as they left. They headed for a vineyard.

Draco spoke to the owner and ordered Harry to pay for them. They headed towards a room. "Get ready for bed," he said. There was a knock on the door and Draco looked towards it.

"Oh, my, I didn't expect…"

Draco raised an eyebrow. "I prefer when my company has other uses than just warming my bed," he said. He accepted the towels she had brought. "Thank you," he said. He walked up to the bed and reached out to grab Harry's hair before pulling his fiancé to him so he could kiss him roughly. The woman was still staring at them, so he twisted his hand and pushed Harry back with his magic before turning around to face her. "Is there an issue?" he asked.

The maid swallowed thickly before closing the door and disappearing.

Harry tilted his head to the side as Draco turned back towards him. "What was that about," he asked.

"I'm just establishing the power dynamic between us," Draco said. "I want these people to know I'm the one in control."

Harry nodded. "So you are making sure your bitch knows his place?" he asked as he sat up.

Draco leaned down and kissed him. "It is only for this, love," he said. "I will be treating you worse than I want to. Will you be okay with that?"

"No collars," Harry said.

"I know," Draco said as he sat down on Harry's lap.

The maid blushed as she saw them the following morning.

Draco rubbed one of the marks he had left on Harry's neck as he spoke to the manager of the estate. He nodded slowly as his hand travelled down. The manager had very little of importance to say, but he listened patiently as he squeezed Harry's inner thigh. He loved that Harry wasn't reacting. It was perfect, sending just the message he wanted to send. His mercenary knew how to behave. It was clear enough that this man would not help them, but he might speak to someone they didn't want to give the wrong impression to. He signalled for Harry to get up so they could head out. 'There is another place I want to check out,' he signed.

Harry squeezed Draco's shoulder as they teleported away. Not two minutes after arriving, they saw people from the staff of the vineyard wandering around the plantation.

Draco smiled coldly at the man who walked up to him. They spoke as Harry looked around. His eyes narrowed as he saw someone he wanted to get at. He saw the mark of a Crow, so there was a real Crow there. Now they just needed to know what was going on. As far as he knew, there wasn't anything sanctioned going on. They would have told him. That didn't mean this Crow wasn't there for a reason, though.

Draco moved along and Harry walked with him. He sat down in a nice chair and accepted a glass of Cava from the owner of the plantation. He looked at Harry.

"I heard that he is quite the eye candy," the owner said.

Draco turned away from Harry. "He is," he said.

"Tell him to undress."

Draco raised an eyebrow. "While I can certainly do that, I will need a good reason to," he said. "I'm looking for quality ingredients, and you have been recommended to me. I would like to see what you have."

"Of course. Just give me a treat first," the owner said.

Draco turned to Harry. "Evans, take your shirt off for me," he said while signing, 'He really wants your clothes off. Can you hide your brand?'

Harry pulled his shirt off slowly. He turned, so his back was showing for a moment and the brand was gone. Then he turned back around.

"Happy?" Draco asked.

"Quite," the Owner said. "He is quite the looker. I wouldn't mind a taste."

Draco just smiled at him. He had no issues seeming like he would agree with that, especially since he knew Harry would never let anyone touch him. "He is high maintenance," he said. "And loud."

"A screamer, how sweet," the owner said. "Well, come on, let's go have a look at the product."

Harry followed Draco slowly as he threw his shirt over his shoulder. It wasn't like he needed a shirt to do his job. The wings on his back would show for the other Crow, but no one else. There was no way for him to hide that. Hopefully the Crow wouldn't give him away. Of course, if he did, he was a dead man walking. The Crows did not betray their own. That was one of the fastest ways to get yourself killed. It was one of the reasons they could recognise each other from a distance.

Draco looked around. The plants were at best mediocre. Neville had quality plants. Blackbird was getting there with Neville's help. This was not something he would ever want near his potions. He didn't let his dislike show on his face, though. He watched as a man walked up to them and spoke to the owner. They were guided out to a rather beautiful garden and Harry wrapped his arms around Draco.

"Did you really think you could fool me?" the owner asked.

Draco leaned back against Harry. "I don't see what you mean, sir," he said.

"Your boy toy is a Crow," the owner said angrily.

Harry felt the wand against his neck. He just smiled. Did they really think this was a good idea?

"My fiancé is a lot more than a Crow," Draco said as he moved away from Harry.

Harry turned and disarmed the man behind him. He broke his arm and force him down on the ground. This was not the Crow. He headed away from Draco, knowing that his fiancé could handle himself. He knocked people out as he went.

"You shouldn't have come here," the Crow said.

Harry tilted his head to the side. "You say that, but you don't know us. Why are you dishonouring our creed by using our name for this business?" he asked. "The Crows are shadows. We are mercenaries when needed. Assassins when we have to, but we don't lock ourselves to other people. And we never betray our own. The moment you told on me, you betrayed us."

"That won't matter when you are dead," the Crow said.

Harry sighed. He shielded against the first attack and fell into a battle stance as he answered with a flare of his own magic. He moved closer and closer as he fought until he could force the man down. He laid runes around him and looked up as he felt Draco's magic. He smiled at Draco.

"So this is the Crow?" Draco asked. "Do you bring him in?"

Harry shook his head. "No, I don't," he said. "You can go back to Madrid and let them know what happened, though," he said.

Draco nodded. He teleported away, hoping that Harry would be okay. It was surprisingly simple for him to get the goblins to come with him from Madrid. He was surprised how simple it was. Though, he had brought their books, so he guessed that might be why. He walked back to where he had left his fiancé and arrived as Harry rose and ripped the Crow's heart out. He turned and paused as he saw Draco.

"I was worried you would hate me for killing the owner," Draco said softly, as he walked up to Harry. He felt strong arms wrap around him after Harry had cleaned off. This wasn't something to celebrate, but it felt good that it wouldn't affect their relationship.

Goblins walked up to them and looked at the body on the ground. Harry just turned slightly and showed his shield. That was all the goblin needed to back off. No one messed with a Crow.

Draco blinked in surprise as they were suddenly standing in Gringotts again.

"I need to leave a report," Harry said. "I will see you back home." He kissed Draco and headed over to the lifts.

Draco stared after him for a while before taking a deep breath and teleporting home. He sent a message to Andromeda and went to clean up. He felt when Harry entered the wards, but he didn't move for him. Harry needed a chance to clean up, too. He was sitting in the living room with a book. Both him and Harry had killed that day. He didn't feel bad about it. Bastard had been after him, so he had retaliated. There wasn't anything else to it. He was more worried Harry wouldn't be okay. What he had done was an outright execution. He shifted as Harry sat down next to him and moved closer.

A patronus showed up and let him know the boys would stay with Andromeda until the following day. They were having fun and were glad their fathers were safe. They would work through their feelings in the meantime.
