Reunions
A week later, after Maxiley defeated Masked Royal in the Pokemon Battle Royale Tournament, the Eds, Jimmy, Sarah, and Maxiley were at the harbor in Hau'oli City in front of a large cruise ship; Edd was looking around as if looking for something or someone.
"Where could they be?" asked Edd as he looks at his watch. "The ship leaves in half an hour."
"I hope they get here in time." said Jimmy.
"Me, too." said Sarah.
A couple minutes later, two airport shuttles enter the harbor area and pull up next to the group; the doors open, and Ed and Sarah's, Edd's, Eddy's, and Jimmy's parents all climb out of them.
"Alola, parents." said Edd.
"Alola, Mom and Dad." said Eddy.
"Alola, Mommy and Daddy!" said Sarah.
"Alola, Mommy, Daddy!" said Jimmy.
"Alola, kids." said Edd's father. Seconds later, Ed was hugging his and Sarah's dad while Sarah hugging her and Ed's mother, Edd was hugging his parents, Eddy was hugging his parents, and Jimmy was hugging his. After breaking the hugs, Eddy's father puts a hand on Eddy's shoulder.
"Son, I know I've said this before after you got back from Sinnoh, but I am so proud of you." said Eddy's father.
"Thanks, Dad." said Eddy.
"We're proud of you too, Ed and Sarah." Ed and Sarah's father says to them.
"Thanks, Dad." said Ed.
"I'm proud of how much you've grown since you got that Riolu." Jimmy's father says to him.
"We both are, sweetie." said Jimmy's mother.
"Thank you." Jimmy replied with a look of pride on his face. Sarah grabs Maxiley's arm and pulls him close to her.
"Mom, Dad, this is Maxiley, my new boyfriend." said Sarah before she and Maxiley kissed.
"You made a boyfriend?" Ed and Sarah's mother asked with surprise.
"Yep." replied Sarah.
"It's nice to meet you both." Maxiley says to Ed and Sarah's parents.
"We can't actually believe you paid for our first class plane tickets, Eddy." said Eddy's mother.
"And tickets for this fancy-looking cruise ship." said Eddy's father.
"What can I say?" asked Eddy. "Because of all the money we got from our Pokemon battles here, it wasn't any problem at all."
"You're becoming a lot more successful than that brother of yours." said Eddy's father.
"Someone mention me?" a familiar voice calls out, making Eddy's father cringe and turn to see his older son walking over to him.
"Speak of the devil; literally." Eddy's father muttered.
"Hey, folks!" said Eddy's brother.
"We still can't believe you came here!" said Eddy's mother.
"Seemed like a good idea." said Eddy's brother.
"How are you doing on the Island Challenge, bro?" asked Eddy with a scowl.
"Just got my last stamp yesterday." Eddy's brother replied.
"What took you so long?" asked Eddy.
"I was too busy hanging with all the hot babes here." said Eddy's brother.
"You mean pestering them and getting yourself physically harmed in the process?" asked Edd.
"Shut it, dweeb!" said Eddy's brother.
"And how did you get to participate in the Island Challenge?" Eddy's father asked his older son with his arms crossed.
"I told that Kahuna Hala guy I was pipsqueak's older brother and he gave me an Island Amulet, a Trainer's Passport, and one of the pokedex things." replied Eddy's brother. (a/n: Okay, we all know that's not true.)
"So, you used your brother's popularity for your own gain?" asked Eddy's father.
"Why am I not surprised?" asked Eddy's mother.
A taxi suddenly pulls up next to the group; the door opens, and a face that the Eds recognized steps out.
"Professor Rowan!" said Edd as he, Ed, and Eddy run over to their old acquaintance from the Sinnoh Region.
"Hello, boys." said Professor Rowan. The Eds' parents walked over to Professor Rowan.
"So we meet at last." said Edd's father.
"The man who introduced our sons to Pokemon." said Edd's mother.
"I take it you're the Eds' parents?" asked Professor Rowan. Eddy's parents walk over to Professor Rowan.
"I want to thank you for getting our Eddy started down a bright future for himself." said Eddy's father.
"Me, too." said Eddy's mother.
"You're quite welcome." said Professor Rowan.
"What brings you here, Professor Rowan?" asked Edd.
"I heard you three were competing in the Alola League." said Professor Rowan as he holds out a briefcase he had with him. "And I brought some old friends of yours with who also want to see you." He opens his briefcase, revealing three rows of six pokeballs; each row had a picture of one of the Eds next to it. Edd's eyes widen as he realized what they were.
"Are those our..." Edd started to ask with excitement in his voice.
"Yes; these are your Sinnoh Pokemon." said Professor Rowan. Ed starts hopping around with excitement as he, Edd, and Eddy grab their respective pokeballs from the briefcase and quickly toss them.
Out of Ed's pokeballs came out his Torterra, his Staraptor, his Golduck, his Dusknoir, his Electivire, and his Skuntank.
Out of Edd's came his Empoleon, his Kricketune, his Roserade, his Noctowl, his Gallade, and his Rhyperior.
Out of Eddy's came his Infernape, his Crobat, his Floatzel, his Golem, his Froslass, and his Absol. Ed runs to his Torterra and begins hugging him.
"I missed you, Torterra!" said Ed with tears streaming down his eyes; Torterra nuzzled Ed. Edd was currently hugging his Empoleon.
"I missed you as well, Empoleon." said Edd; Empoleon patted Edd's back with his flipper. Eddy was hugging his Infernape.
"Oh man, I missed you so much, Infernape!" said Eddy; Infernape hugged Eddy in response. The Eds then hugged their other Sinnoh Pokemon that they all missed so much. Eddy's mother walks to his son's Absol and begins rubbing her fur.
"Your Absol's fur is softer than I imagined." said Eddy's mother.
"Yeah!" said Sarah as she nuzzles Absol's fur.
"Wow!" someone nearby shouts, making the group look to see a bunch of kids running over to them.
"It's the Eds' Sinnoh Pokemon!" said a girl.
"That Infernape is so cool!" said a boy.
"I love that Empoleon!" said another boy.
"Torterra looks so tough!" said another boy.
"Can we touch them?" asked a girl.
"Of course you all may." said Edd. The Alola children all ran over to the Eds' Sinnoh Pokemon and started petting them and looking them over.
"Our boys are really popular here." said Ed and Sarah's father.
"We're so happy for them." said Eddy's mother.
"Wait until they see what I can do." said Eddy's brother with a cocky grin.
"You mean get into lots of trouble?" asked Eddy's father.
"Whatever." replied Eddy's brother.
After the Alola kids were done checking out the Eds' Sinnoh Pokemon, the Eds let out their Alola Pokemon and introduce them to their Sinnoh ones. They all interected with each other and got along well.
"I wanna try something." said Eddy.
"What?" asked Edd.
"Infernape, get over here." said Eddy. Infernape smiles and runs over to his trainer. Eddy takes out his Fightium-Z Crystal and puts it into his Z-Ring.
"Are you going to try a Z-Move with Infernape?" asked Maxiley. Eddy nods in response before he does a few palm thrusts, making Z-Energy appear all over him and sends it into his Infernape, making the Z-Power Symbol appear in front of him.
"Infernape, use All-Out Pummeling on that rock over there!" said Eddy as he points out towards the ocean to a large rock spire coming out of it; Infernape nods before he does a barrage of air punches, making orange, palm-shaped, masses of energy come out of his fists towards the rock, completely obliterating it.
"Cool!" said a boy.
"Infernape is so strong!" said a girl.
"You know it." said Eddy. "But I'll still use my Alola Pokemon in the tournament."
"Me too." said Ed.
"I as well; it wouldn't seem fair to them to go through that training, only to not have them battle at the tournament." said Edd.
"We'll be cheering you and your friends on." said a girl.
"It's so great to have fans." said Eddy with a pleased smile on his face.
"We should all get on board." said Edd.
"Good call." said Eddy. After the Eds returned their Pokemon to their pokeballs, everyone grabs their bags and walks up the boarding ramp onto the cruise ship. Minutes later, the cruise ship left the harbor and began heading towards its destination.
Later, after everyone got to their first class cabins, they were all hanging around the pool in their swimwear while relaxing on lounge chairs.
"This is the life." said Eddy's father.
"I can get used to this." said Eddy's mother.
"I don't know how it can get better than this." said Eddy as he stretches out on his lounge chair.
"Alola, Eddy." a voice that Eddy recognized says, making him look to see Tanya, wearing a yellow one piece swimsuit, standing over him.
"A-Alola, Tanya." said Eddy with a beet red face.
"Who's this, Eddy?" asked Eddy's father with a grin.
"Mom, Dad; this is Tanya." replied Eddy.
"I'm Eddy's girlfriend." said Tanya. Eddy's parent's eyes widened with shock.
"You have a girlfriend, Eddy?!" asked Eddy's mother. Tanya suddenly lies on top of Eddy and starts kissing him on the lips; Eddy's brother watches this go on from the pool with jealousy on his face.
"Why does pipsqueak get a babe all over him?" asked Eddy's brother. He looks around to see two attractive women in two piece swimsuits, sitting on the edge of the pool with their feet in the water. Grinning, he swims over to the two women; seconds later, he was floating in the pool with two footprints on his face.
"What a creep." said one of the women.
Jimmy was in the back of a line, going up to a stairway leading to the top of a water slide when he feels someone tap on his shoulder; he looks to see Hapu in a light purple, one piece swimsuit.
"Alola, Jimmy." said Hapu.
"Alola, Hapu." replied Jimmy. "What are doing here?"
"To watch the Alola League tournament." replied Hapu. "Mind if I join you?"
"Not at all." replied Jimmy. Once they reached the water slide, an attendant looks at one and two person riding rafts that were nearby.
"One person or two?" asked the attendant. Jimmy looks at Hapu.
"Two." replied Jimmy, smiling; Hapu blushes in response. Seconds later, they were riding down the water slide on a two person raft with Hapu's arms around Jimmy's waist. "This is fun; wheeeee!" Hapu giggles in response; seconds later, they reached the bottom the slide and into the pool. Hapu looks at Jimmy and nuzzles his cheek, making him nuzzle her back. Jimmy's parents looked in amazement at the interaction between them.
"Our son's definitely growing up." said Jimmy's mother.
"Before he discovered Pokemon and went on this journey, he never would've went down a water slide that high." said Jimmy's father. "I'm so proud of how much he grew."
Eddy's brother, after recovering from the two kicks to the face was walking on the deck when he sees a woman, wearing a white, two piece swimsuit, lying on a lounge chair with a white tote bag next to it. Eddy's brother struts towards the woman with a smug grin on his face.
(Seconds later)
"Pangoro, Hammer Arm!" shouts the woman. A large, bipedal, pandalike Pokemon with white and dark grey fur smashes its hands onto Eddy's brother, knocking him down to the floor. "Do something like that again, jerk, and I'll have Pangoro Sky Uppercut you to another Pokemon Region!" Edd and his parents were nearby.
"What Pokemon is that, Edward?" asked Edd's father, pointing at the pandalike Pokemon. Edd takes the Rotom Pokedex out of his backpack and points it at the Pokemon.
"Pangoro, the Daunting Pokemon, and the evolved form of Pancham. Pangoro is the type to talk with its fists. It doesn't say much as it pummels opponents with enough force to send a dump truck flying." said the Rotom Pokedex.
"Sounds like a strong Pokemon." said Edd's father.
"And this is an intriguing device." said Edd's mother as she examines the Rotom Pokedex.
Later, at the cruise ship's restaurant, Ed was with Sarah, their parents, and Maxiley, getting food to eat at a buffet when Ed felt someone tap on his shoulder; he turns and to his joy, he sees Mallow.
"Alola, Mallow!" said Ed with delight.
"Alola, Ed." replied Mallow; Ed leans down and he and Mallow kiss.
"Ed; you have a girlfriend?!" asked Ed's father.
"You bet your sweet bippy I do; Mom, Dad, this is Mallow." said Ed, putting an arm around Mallow's shoulders.
"So, what are you doing here, Mallow?" asked Sarah.
"I'm here to watch the Alola League." replied Mallow. "I also volunteered to cook in the kitchen."
"I'll bet the food you make is delicious like your Mallow Special." said Ed.
"Thanks, Ed." said Mallow, wrapping her arms around Ed's waist while nuzzling his chest while Ed rests his head on Mallow's. Ed's parents looked at Ed with tears in their eyes.
"Our son is becoming a man." said Ed and Sarah's father.
"I'm so proud of him." said Ed and Sarah's mother.
Eddy's brother got out of the line of the buffet with a plate of food when he sees an attractive woman in a light green sundress, eating at a table by herself. Eddy's brother walks over to her; seconds later, Eddy's brother was on the floor with broken pieces of a plate near his head with stars circling above it.
"Jerk." muttered the woman.
Eddy and Tanya, now wearing a yellow sundress and sandals were sharing a small table, looking at each other, lovingly while Tanya had a hand on one of Eddy's hands.
"I don't want this day to end." said Eddy.
Once the sun went down, everyone watched as the cruise ship's crew set off fireworks over the ship for everyone to see.
"Spectacular." said Edd. He feels someone tap on his shoulder, making him look behind him and blushes when he sees Lillie.
"Alola, Double-D." said Lillie before she kisses Edd on the lips.
"A-Alola, Lillie." said Edd.
"Would you like to watch the fireworks with me?" asked Lillie.
"I would be delighted to." said Edd. He and Lillie watched the fireworks while holding hands.
Back with Eddy's brother, he sees a woman in an orange bikini, sitting in a hot tub, and decides to try working his magic on her; a few minutes later, he was thrashing around in the ocean.
"Creep!" the woman yelled down from the ship. A crew member throws down a life perserver to Eddy's brother and he puts it around his waist.
"I'll show everyone how awesome I am when I crush pipsqueak in the tournament, then I'll have babes all over me." said Eddy's brother as he was being hoisted out of the sea.
"Will he ever learn?" asked Eddy's father who was looking down over the railing, watching his oldest son getting pulled up.
"Somehow, I doubt it." said Eddy's mother.
After a night's sleep, the cruise ship arrives at a triangle-shaped, man-made island with a large stadium on it, along with some resort hotels and restaurants around it.
"Here we are." said Edd. "Manalo Stadium; home of the Alola League tournament."
"Oh boy!" said Ed.
"Fascinating." said Edd's mother.
"A functioning man-made island." said Edd's father.
"Let's go get registered." said Edd.
The Eds, Sarah, Jimmy, Eddy's brother, their parents, along with Maxiley, all climb off the ship, to be met by dozens of the Eds' fans.
"We can't wait to see you all in the tournament!" said a boy.
"Thank you." said Edd. Eddy felt someone tap his shoulder; he turns to see Tanya smiling at him.
"I'll be cheering for you, Eddy." said Tanya before leaning towards Eddy and kisses him, making his face turn red; Tanya winks at him and walks towards a hotel. Eddy's brother glares at him with jealousy before looking away.
'Get use to the fame and glory, pipsqueak, because after this tournament, all that will be mine.' Eddy's brother thinks to himself. (a/n: Yeah, we guess Eddy's brother is actually capable of thinking.)
"Are you coming or not?!" Eddy's father yelled to his oldest son, snapping him out of what could be only described as a thought and sees his family walking towards the stadium with his father glaring at him. Eddy's brother runs to catch up with his family.
The group has finally arrived at the Alola League. Who will they be facing in the tournament, along with the juniors' division? Wait and find out.
