It was a cold night and fog hung over the streets of Amity Park City, as Danny Phantom flew between buildings, chasing a blue ghost carrying a large bag that looked like it was full of jewelry.
"Stop right there, you phantom thief!" Danny shouted, rushing towards him.
The ghost turned to him and smiled sarcastically, "Really? That's your best line?"
Then he threw the bag up, causing Danny to quickly rush to pick it up, but at the same moment, the ghost fired an energy beam at him.
"Oh, no no no!"
Quickly, Danny dodged the attack and safely threw the bag to the ground. But realizing that the ghost was preparing to escape, he decided to use one of his now-mastered combat tricks: the *splitting*.
He extended his hands, and in an instant, he split into two identical copies, each one surrounding the ghost on one side.
"You're in trouble now!" Danny I said with a confident smile.
"Exactly, we have you surrounded!" Danny II finished.
But instead of looking scared, the ghost burst out laughing and said, "Impressive, but you made a small mistake."
The ghost raised his hand, unleashing a powerful pulse of energy, causing the air to shake and the ground to tremble beneath them.
"Not again!" Danny muttered, trying to fight back, but the energy pushed him away, slamming into the other clone and both of them falling to the ground.
The impact was stronger than usual. Danny felt a strange pain, as if his body had become unbalanced. Normally, when a fight ended, his clones automatically merged together ... but this time, that didn't happen.
The two copies sat on the floor and stared at each other in amazement.
"You … you didn't disappear?!" Danny said first.
"And you didn't incorporate me into you either?!" Danny II replied, touching his chest with his hand.
Silence fell between them for a few moments, as the laughing ghost flew away, leaving Danny in an unprecedented predicament.
They looked at each other, then Danny said slowly, "We have a big problem."
"Problem? That's great! Now I can relax while you do my homework!"
"What the— ? ! No, no, no! No one must find out about this, do you understand?!"
"Okay, but how are we going to act? We can't stay together all the time, everyone will notice!"
Danny sighed first, putting his hand to his forehead, then said, "Okay, listen to me ... we'll take turns. I'll be at school, and you'll be home. When I get back, we switch roles. No one should notice anything, okay?"
Danny II smiled and said, "I understand, but I have one condition … "
"What is it?"
"I'm the one eating pizza tonight!"
Danny looked at him tiredly, then said, "Man, this is going to be a long night ... "
The first night passed relatively peacefully. Danny I slept in his room, while Danny II hid on the roof to avoid any confrontation with his family. But they knew the real challenge would begin at sunrise ...
in the morning*
Danny was first awakened by a loud knocking on the door.
"Danny! Wake up! You'll be late for school!" his mother shouted.
He opened his eyes groggily, only to realize that Danny II was lying on the ceiling above him, looking at him boredly.
"I've been up all night, man, the ceiling isn't comfortable at all!"
"That's because you're *not* supposed to sleep there!" Danny I muttered as he slumped to his feet. "Okay, time to get to work … Remember the plan, you stay here, I go to school."
"Yes, yes, but don't forget something important ... "
"What is it?"
Danny II smiled slyly, "Don't say anything stupid in front of Star!"
Danny paused first, then looked at him suspiciously. "What are you planning?"
"Me? Nothing! I'm just saying you need some help maintaining your image in front of your girlfriend."
"What - !"
Before he could finish his sentence, the door suddenly opened and Jas, his older sister, appeared with a scrutinizing look.
"Why are you talking to yourself?"
Danny I's eyes widened in horror. Luckily, Danny II had quickly become invisible and hid on the ceiling.
"Er … I was reviewing for chemistry!" Danny said playfully.
Jas looked at him with a frown, then said, "No way, you barely know how to spell ' chemistry ' ."
Then she gave him a long look before murmuring, "I feel like there's something fishy here … "
Danny forced a laugh as he pushed Gus out. "Nothing suspicious! Just a hardworking student who wants to go to school!"
As soon as the door closed, Danny II appeared, whispering sarcastically, "Chemistry? That's your best excuse?"
"Shut up!"
At school*
Danny first arrived at school trying to act normal, but he felt like all eyes were on him. He thought Tucker and Sam were eyeing him suspiciously, and Star smiled at him as she always did, but he wasn't sure if she noticed anything strange about him.
"Hi, Danny!" Star said, waving at him.
"Oh, hello, Star!" he replied with a nervous smile.
"Is my invitation to the party still valid?"
Danny was confused for a moment. What party was she talking about? Then he suddenly remembered that Danny II had probably talked to her on the phone last night and agreed to go to some party!
"Ah … of course!" he said quickly.
But Star looked at him suspiciously. "Strange … yesterday you were so excited, but now you seem to have completely forgotten about it!"
"Er … no, no, I was just kidding! The party, yeah, great! So excited!"
Fortunately, before she could pressure him any further, the bell rang, signaling the start of first period. But this time, he felt like he barely made it.
At home*
Meanwhile, Danny II was living a life of luxury. He would lie on the couch, watch TV, eat pancakes made by his mother, enjoy not having to deal with school responsibilities, and become intangible whenever someone appeared.
"This is awesome! I'm living Danny's life ... but without any of his problems!"
But his happiness was short-lived, because Gus suddenly entered, frowning and holding the ghost detector their father had made.
Danny tried to become intangible, but he *felt* something was wrong!
Danny II froze in place, as the device began to emit faint alarm sounds.
"Damn ... this is not good."
Jas approached Danny, holding the ghost detector, which began to flash a faint red. Cautiously, Danny looked at her, sitting stiffly on the couch, trying to act like nothing was happening.
"Well, that's interesting … the device is detecting ghost activity here." Gus said as he slowly approached.
Danny II swallowed. "Well, that's a problem … "
He tried to act calm, then appeared resigned, saying, "Oh, Jazz, it's not what it seems."
But Jas looked at him angrily. She looked at him accusingly!
"I can't believe it! Oh Danny! You're using your powers to escape from school!" Danny felt cold sweat dripping from his forehead.
I have to act fast … *
He looked around desperately, then it occurred to him that there was only one thing he could do to get out of this predicament: ghosts*
He quickly stood up and shouted, "Okay! It's... it's... Gus! I was at school, but I felt there was danger, so I changed into my ghost form and went home to check on the situation!"
Jas stared at him, the pancakes, and the TV in surprise, then narrowed her eyes again. "Aaaa! Do you think I'm stupid, Danny?"
"Eh … yes, yes, that's the truth? I had heroic affairs to do!"
But Jas smiled at him sarcastically and said, "No, no, no! If you left school because of the danger, you must come back now because the danger is over! Come on, come back immediately!"
Danny II looked at her, shocked. "Oh, shit … you made things worse!"
Next to the school*
The first Danny was in the middle of chasing a ghost when he felt his body twitching strangely. He ignored the feeling and continued fighting, but little did he know that his other self had returned to school thanks to Gus!
Danny II wearily entered the school, dragged by the arm by Gus, who was scolding him, saying, "Superheroes need an education too!"
At that moment, Star, Tucker, and Sam spotted him and headed towards him.
"Danny! Where have you been?!" Star asked, crossing her arms.
Danny II looked at them in confusion, then remembered that he shouldn't arouse suspicion. "Er ... I was, uh, in the bathroom! Yeah, sudden stomach upset! Don't ask, it's not pretty."
Tucker raised an eyebrow and said, "Strange, just a moment ago you were saying you felt a ghost, and now you're acting like you forgot about it!"
Danny II was confused. "Damn, what did Danny I say before I came back?!"
But he didn't have to think long, because his body started trembling again ... which meant that Danny I was about to return!
"Oh, wait, I need to go to the bathroom again!" he said quickly and ran away.
Minutes later … *
Danny I returned to school after he was done fighting, heading back to his friends again.
"Oh, sorry, the ghost … took a bit of time to catch." He said as he sat down next to them.
But the three were staring at him suspiciously.
"Wait, just a moment ago you said you were going to the bathroom, and now you're saying you were fighting a ghost?" Star said confused.
"Also, just a moment ago you said you went to the bathroom the first time, and now you're saying you've been fighting all this time?!" Sam added.
Danny I looked at them feeling like something was wrong … *Did Danny II do something?!*
He tried to play it cool and said, "Hey guys … maybe I was joking?"
But Tucker looked at Sam and then at Star and said, "Well, I don't want to sound like I believe in conspiracy theories, but Danny is acting really strange today."
Star stared at Danny for a long time, then said, "Something strange is happening … and you're hiding it from us!"
Danny I sat on a bench in the schoolyard, trying to act as if everything was normal. But the truth was quite the opposite … Tucker, Sam, and Star were staring at him as if trying to read his mind, and he knew full well that it was because Danny II had unexpectedly appeared moments before.
Damn, what did that idiot do?!*
He took a sip from the water bottle, trying to maintain his composure, but their constant stares started to make him more nervous.
"Okay, are you going to tell us what's going on with you?" Sam asked sharply.
"Me? What do you mean? Nothing's happening to me!" Danny said, smiling in confusion.
"Really? Because five minutes ago you were acting weird, and now you look confused?" Tucker said, crossing his arms.
"Also, you were acting really weird around us, like you hadn't talked to us since this morning," Sam said.
Star raised her eyebrows as she looked at him, "Right, what's happening to you? What's going on with you, Danny?"
Danny I was starting to feel like things were getting out of hand, but he had no convincing excuse. He needed a quick solution before their suspicions grew even more …
"Er … well, the truth is, I'm … " He thought quickly, then said, "Very tired! Yes! I didn't sleep well last night, which is why my actions were … a bit strange."
The three looked at him suspiciously, but Star tilted her head slightly and said, "Well, maybe that explains it a little … "
Danny breathed a sigh of relief, thinking the crisis was over, but Tucker and Sam weren't entirely convinced.
"Eh ... guys ... are we out of it?!"
Sam raised a sarcastic eyebrow. "I don't know? Danny? Okay, but it sounds like you're lying."
Danny wanted to scream at his alter ego, but instead forced a nervous laugh. "Haha, maybe I need to take a break. I'm going to the bathroom again."
He quickly stood up, heading to the bathroom as his friends stared at him.
But the moment he walked in, he found Danny II standing in front of the mirror, combing his hair as if he didn't have a care in the world!
"You! What did you do?!" Danny said first, pulling him away from the mirror.
"What? I was just having a little fun with my life! You always take things so seriously!" Danny II said, smiling slyly.
"You made me look like a lunatic in front of my friends! We have to make sure no one notices anything, isn't that what we agreed?"
Danny II raised his hands in surrender: "Okay, but it's not my fault, Jazz brought me here!"
Danny looked at him menacingly, then said, "No more mistakes, understand?"
"Exactly, no more mistakes … from you either."
Danny glared at him, but he didn't have time to argue further. He took a deep breath, then left the bathroom and went back to his friends, trying to look as normal as possible.
But when he arrived, he noticed that the three were whispering to each other and looking at him intently.
"Okay, we've decided something," Sam said, crossing her arms.
"Did you decide what?" Danny asked cautiously.
Tucker looked at him seriously and said, "We'll be following you around all day, because there's obviously something strange going on with you!"
Danny's eyes widened, realizing things were about to get much more difficult …
Danny stood frozen in place as Tucker, Sam, and Star watched him warily. He had no chance of escaping their surveillance now; they had decided they wouldn't leave him alone until they figured out "what was going on with him."
Oh my god ... this is a disaster!*
He tried to force a nervous smile and said, "Huh, being watched? Am I a wanted criminal or something?"
"No," Sam said coldly, "but your strange behavior today makes us want to make sure you're not doing something stupid."
"Exactly!" Tucker added, looking at him suspiciously. "You act like you have … I don't know … something to hide!"
Danny laughed nervously, trying to change the subject. "Huh, something I'm hiding! That's funny, isn't it?"
But Star wasn't laughing. She was staring at him worriedly. "Danny, if there's anything bothering you, you can tell us. We're your friends, and we'll help you."
Danny felt a pang of guilt, but he couldn't tell them the truth. "How am I going to tell them there's a second version of me roaming around school?!"
But, as if things weren't bad enough …
Danny II appears!*
He yawned out of the bathroom, heading in the same direction as the group! The moment he saw Danny first, his eyes widened in shock and he stopped instantly.
Damn, damn, damn!*
But Danny acted quickly. Before his friends could notice anything, he unleashed a mild wave of ghostly energy, momentarily turning off the lights in the hallway.
"Ah! What is this?!" Star cried out as she raised her hand to cover her eyes due to the sudden darkness.
And in a moment Danny I took advantage of, he ran towards his second copy and quickly pushed him into an empty closet before anyone noticed!
Boom!* He slammed the door shut, then quickly turned around before the lights came back on.
"Huh, what happened?" Tucker muttered as he looked around.
"Maybe there was an electrical fault," Sam said.
Danny looked at them first and laughed nervously: "Oh, yeah, electricity … always acts weird, doesn't it? Hahaha … "
No one seemed to notice what happened, but an angry banging sound was heard from inside the closet.
This idiot is going to kill me later … *
But there was no time to rest, because Jazz approached, and the ghost detector started beeping again!*
"Wait a minute!" Jas shouted from the other end of the corridor, running towards them. "My device detects a ghost here!"
Danny froze in place, knowing that this day would not pass peacefully …
Jazz stood in front of the group, waving her ghost detector excitedly, as it flashed a red light and beeped intermittently. Tucker, Sam, and Star exchanged glances while Danny I stared at Jazz's device in horror.
No, no, no! The device is picking up Danny II's energy!*
"Look at this!" Jazz said excitedly, pointing at the screen. "There's a ghost that isn't Danny right around the corner! The reading is very clear!"
Danny I pretended to be calm, but he felt beads of sweat gathering on his forehead. "Jazz, maybe your device is faulty? I can't feel a thing!"
But Jazz shook her head firmly. "No, this reading is strong, and that means there's a ghost hiding around here somewhere!" Then she looked at Danny intently. "Danny, you need to turn around now and deal with this!"
Danny froze first. "What? Now? I don't think that's necessary!"
"It is necessary!" Jazz said insistently. Then she turned towards the closet Danny I was leaning against. "The signal says the ghost is right here!"
Danny I felt his heart stop. He knew Danny II was inside, and if they opened the closet and saw him … it would be impossible to explain!
"Er … Jazz, maybe you're interpreting the sign wrong?" he said as he tried to stand in front of the door.
But Jazz was stubborn. "No way! Everyone get ready!"
Before Danny I could stop her, she reached out and grabbed the handle, opening it forcefully!
but …
The closet was empty!*
Jazz gasped, as everyone exchanged looks in confusion. Danny I himself was momentarily shocked, but quickly realized what had happened. "Danny II … he turned intangible and invisible and ran away!"
He looked at Jazz with a nervous smile. "Huh, just like I said … nothing here!"
But Jazz was still staring at the closet, then looked at her device, whose signals were gradually fading. She looked confused for a moment, but she wasn't entirely convinced.
"That's weird … " I muttered.
Sam put a hand on her shoulder and said, "Jazz, maybe the ghost the device captured left before you opened the safe?"
Tucker looked at Jazz's device and then said, "Or maybe it picked up the wrong power? You know these devices aren't perfect."
Jazz sighed and closed her device hesitantly. "Maybe … but I'll keep my eyes open!" She then gave Danny the first a quick look as if she was watching him.
As for Danny I, he sighed silently. "I survived this time … but how long can I hide this?"
Danny I sat in the school cafeteria, trying to act as normal as possible, but the tension was clear on his face. He'd barely escaped Jazz's exposure, but that didn't mean his problems were over. There was still another ghost roaming the school ... *His second version!*
Tucker, Sam, and Star were sitting with him, but they continued to stare at him suspiciously. Every action he took seemed to raise more questions.
"You look very nervous today, Danny." Star said, resting her chin on her hand, looking at him suspiciously.
Danny laughed nervously. "What? No, I'm perfectly fine! Everything is great, very great!"
But Tucker wasn't convinced. "Okay, then why did you pour juice on your plate instead of your cup earlier?"
Danny froze first. "Er … a new way of eating?"
Sam raised an eyebrow. "And does your new style also include forgetting that you ordered a pizza just five minutes ago, and then ordering another one?"
"Er ... maybe you were hungry?"
The group exchanged glances, their suspicions growing.
And at that moment, *Danny II appeared in the cafeteria!*
He walked in as if he had no idea what was going on, walking towards them with a completely relaxed face. "Oh my God, why did he come here?!"
Danny quickly stood up, trying to block his path before he reached them. But he couldn't help but turn invisible when he found his friends weren't looking ...
"Hello, friends!" Danny II said with a smile as he confidently sat next to Star.
Everyone looked at him in astonishment, while Danny I stood frozen in place, trying to comprehend the magnitude of the disaster.
"Wait … what do you mean hello?" Star asked as she stared at Danny II.
Danny swallowed first. *Oh no, oh no, oh no!*
But Danny II, who was unaware of the events, said innocently, "What? No, what's wrong with saying hello to my dear friends!"
Tucker narrowed his eyes. "But you've been sitting with us this whole time … "
Here, Danny II realized he'd made a mistake. He felt Danny I's presence next to them, then gave a nervous smile. "Oh, eh, I was kidding! Haha! I was here, but I ran out of time and came back, yeah, that's what happened!"
Star, Sam, and Tucker began to stare at him more suspiciously. It was clear that something strange was going on, but they couldn't put their hands on it.
Before the situation could get any worse, Danny I decided to quickly intervene.
"Hey, guys, I have to do something in the library?" He grabbed Danny's other arm and quickly pulled him away from the table, without anyone seeing him.
"But I didn't eat— " Danny II tried to object, but Danny I completely ignored him and dragged Danny II out of the cafeteria as fast as he could.
When they reached an empty corridor, the first Danny exhaled angrily and turned to his second self. "What are you doing here?! I was about to blow everything up!"
Danny II raised his hands in surrender. "What? I just wanted some food! You expect me to live in hiding all the time?"
Danny I held his head in frustration. "You don't understand … If this keeps up, they'll find out the truth sooner or later!"
But Danny II smiled slyly. "Oh really? Then why don't you make me disappear forever?"
Danny looked at him sharply. There was no easy answer to this problem …
Then he said resignedly, "Okay, go eat something, and I'll hide here."
(Oh, finally some food.) Danny II said as he returned to the cafeteria with relief.
Danny I stood hiding still trying to find a solution to his problem when he heard a familiar voice behind him.
"Huh! I finally found you, Fenton!"*
He froze in place before slowly turning around to find Dash standing in front of him with a grim face and crossed arms.
"What do you want, Dash?" Danny said, trying to take a step back.
Dash smiled slyly. "What do I want? Nothing … I just wanted to remind you of your place in this school, loser!"
Before Danny could reply, Dash grabbed him by the shirt and forcefully pulled him into a side hallway.
"Wait, Dash, let me— ! "
But Dash ignored his objections, pulled Danny into the *locked bathroom, pushed him inside, and locked the door behind him.
"Have a good time here, Fenton!" He laughed sarcastically and then left, leaving Danny banging on the door trying to get out.
But the problem wasn't here ... it was in the cafeteria.*
Danny II was still there, sitting with Tucker, Sam, and Star, trying to act normal. But his sudden appetite raised eyebrows, causing them to look at him in surprise.
But suddenly, Dash burst into the cafeteria laughing loudly, then turned and looked directly at the table where Danny II was sitting.
But as soon as he laid eyes on him … his eyes bulged in absolute shock.
He froze in place, opened his mouth to say something but couldn't, then raised his hands to his head as if he couldn't believe what he was seeing.
"Impossible ... but I ... I locked you in the bathroom seconds ago!"
Danny II looked at him innocently, but immediately realized what had happened. *Oh … What a problem … *
Dash quickly walked towards him, muttering incomprehensible words, then pointed at him angrily. "What ... how ... what's going on here?!"
The people in the cafeteria began to notice the situation, and some students gathered around Dash, wondering why he was acting this way.
As for Danny II, he quickly stood up and said, "Er ... Dash, are you okay? Maybe you need some rest?"
But Dash wasn't in a state to calm down. He was convinced he'd *completely lost his mind.*
"You … you were in the bathroom! How did you get out so fast?! No … it can't be!" Then he started running out of the cafeteria screaming, "I … I need a therapist!"
Everyone looked at him in surprise, while Danny II tried to take advantage of the moment to escape before anyone suspected anything.
But things weren't that simple, because Danny suddenly had a ghost sensation.
Danny II stood nervously, at the same moment Danny I finally emerged from the bathroom, having had to transform into his ghost form to get through the wall.
He quickly ran towards the source of the sensation, little did he know that there was another problem waiting for him … *Ghost Hunter Skulker was waiting for him!*
Skulker was flying in the sky above one of the city buildings, holding his ghost hunting rifle, his eyes shining with ghost power.
"Well, you naughty ghost … time to hunt you down again!"
Danny I quickly rushed towards him, trying to fire energy beams at him, but Skulker was faster, and fired a ghostly energy web that hit Danny *and completely surrounded him!*
"Hah! I finally caught you!" Skulker said triumphantly as he pulled the net towards him.
But suddenly …
The second Danny appears elsewhere, flying through the air!*
Skulker saw this, and his expression froze in shock.
"What?! But I … I just caught you! How … ?!"
His body began to tremble for a moment, before he stared at the gun he was holding. "Did it jam? Am I seeing ghosts twice?!"
Danny II looked at Danny I trapped in the net, then smiled slyly. "Oh, this is going to be fun!"
Skulker was still staring at Danny II in astonishment, while Danny I struggled to free himself from the ghostly net. The Iron Hunter seemed to have lost all sense of reason.
"This … this is impossible!" Skulker muttered, looking at the first trapped Danny, then at the second Danny, who was flying freely in the sky.
Danny II smiled slyly and said, "Oh, you poor hunter! How did you catch me … while I was still here?"
Skulker roared angrily, then quickly turned his gun towards Danny II and fired a massive energy charge, but Danny II easily dodged it, laughing, "Ah, you almost hit me! But … you still have one big problem!"
"What is it?!" Skulker shouted as he tried to fire another charge.
Danny II smiled and pointed at the net. "You sound like you're having hallucinations, buddy. You should be seen by a ghost psychiatrist!"
Before Skulker could realize what was happening, Danny the First finally fired an energy blast from his body, tearing the web to shreds, and he fell to the ground, free.
"Oh, I'm so glad you're having fun here!" Danny the First said sarcastically, dusting off his suit.
Skulker looked at them in astonishment, then roared angrily, "It doesn't matter if one of you is a hallucination! I'll catch you both!"
But Danny II smiled slyly, and turned to Danny I, saying, "Okay, time for the double fight!"
Danny looked at him with a frown. "I can't believe I have to work with you!"
"Oh, don't be angry! Think of this as … group training!"
Before Danny I could object, Skulker had fired a massive energy projectile at them!
Meanwhile, at school … *
Jazz was still busy with her device, staring at the signals that were starting to get stranger.
"This … this is strange!" she muttered as she watched the readings.
Sam approached her and asked, "What's wrong?"
"There are … two completely identical ghost energies!"
Sam and Tucker exchanged worried glances.
"Wait, are you saying there are *two look-alike ghosts?*" Tucker asked.
"Exactly!" Jazz said worriedly. "And that's … not normal at all!"
Jazz began to feel that there was a big mystery to be solved, and she was determined to discover the truth ...
Back to the battlefield … *
The fight between Danny I and Danny II against Skulker was in full swing. Skulker was trying to keep up with the attacks coming from two different directions, but he was having trouble concentrating.
"Damn! Which one is real?!" he shouted angrily as he tried to aim.
Danny II laughed as he flew around lightly. "Who knows? Maybe we're both hallucinating!"
While Danny I took advantage of the moment and fired a powerful energy charge that hit Skulker directly, sending him crashing into the building's wall.
Then Danny II pulled him into the ghost bowl.
"Well, that was fun!" Danny II said with a smile.
But Danny I wasn't in the mood to laugh. "Now, listen to me carefully … we have to find a solution to this situation *before we get completely exposed!*"
But Danny II just smiled slyly and said, "Oh, don't worry so much! Things will never be boring as long as I'm here!"
Danny stared at him, saying, "At least the school day is over now . "
After a long day of chaos and strange situations, Danny I decided to give himself a *moment of respite* away from it all. He needed to spend some time with Star, away from the ghosts and the secrets of his sudden bisexuality.
He walked to her house, and before knocking on the door, he took a deep breath and tried to look relaxed.
"Star? Do you want to go out tonight?"
Star opened the door and smiled at him, a little surprised by his sudden visit. "Hmm, that's unusual of you, Fenton. But … why not?"
Danny was relieved that she agreed, he needed some rest from this madness, and said excitedly, "Great! I'll see you at seven then!"
Star nodded in agreement, closing the door as Danny walked away feeling happy for the first time since this *strange predicament* began.
But of course ... things didn't go his way.
7 pm*
Star stood in front of a restaurant in the city center, looking at her watch for the fifth time.
"Well, where are you, Danny?" she muttered, feeling impatient.
Ten minutes passed, then twenty, and now it was *quarter to eight* ... and Danny still hadn't come!
She started to feel angry, but before she could take out her phone to send him an angry message, she spotted a familiar person walking carelessly on the nearby sidewalk.
It's *Danny!*
But he didn't look like he was on his way to her ... In fact, he was walking slowly as if he didn't have a care in the world.
Star's eyes narrowed in anger, and she quickly advanced towards him.
"Danny Fenton!" she shouted, blocking his way.
Danny II raised his eyebrows in surprise, he hadn't expected to suddenly face her like this. "Star? What are you doing here?"
Her anger intensified when she heard his indifferent tone, and she folded her arms, saying, "What am I doing here?! You're the one who told me to go out on a date, and then left me waiting for over an hour!"
He tried to think for a moment, then smiled and said, "Oh … you're angry?"
Star's eyes glowed even more angrily. "Oh, do you think this is funny?! You asked me out and then *completely ignored me?!"
Danny II was starting to realize he was in trouble, but he had no idea what kind of date she was talking about. He had no idea that Danny I had planned to go out with her!
But he didn't want to reveal himself, so he tried to evade, saying, "Er ... I had other things to do?"
That was the *worst possible response*.
"Other things?!" Star shouted angrily. "So you were just kidding me from the start?!"
"Well, I didn't say that exactly— "
But Star wasn't in the mood to hear his excuses, she just let out an angry sigh and said, "You're ... *idiot* Danny Fenton!"
Then she turned and quickly left, leaving Danny II in a state of complete confusion.
"Damn … what did I do now?" he muttered, scratching his head, before shrugging his shoulders nonchalantly. It wasn't his fault.
Ten minutes later … *
Danny I arrived at the same spot, slightly out of breath after finishing his fight against a ghost at the last moment.
He found Star standing on the sidewalk, her face grim as she looked at her phone angrily.
He walked over to her and smiled, saying, "Hi, sorry for being late. I had a little problem, but— "
But she interrupted him with a fiery look.
"Don't even try, Fenton!" she said angrily. "I totally understood your message, and you don't have to pretend you care!"
He blinked his eyes in confusion. "Huh? What?"
"You know very well what you did!" she said angrily, then turned and walked away from him, leaving Danny I in a state of complete shock.
He stood there for several moments, trying to comprehend what had just happened, then muttered to himself:
"What exactly did you do?!"
Danny I was walking through the school halls feeling incredibly stressed. What had happened yesterday with Star was like a nightmare, and he had no idea why!
"Why was she angry?! I didn't do anything wrong!"
But he knew he had to fix the situation before it got worse. So, when he saw Star standing by her locker the next morning, he walked straight over to her.
"Okay, let's do this.
…
Danny stood in front of Star with an apologetic smile, but he wasn't sure how she would react.
"Hello, Star … " he said hesitantly.
She turned to him slowly, her cold gaze making him feel like he had committed an unforgivable crime.
"Oh, now you've decided to talk to me?" she said sharply, slamming her closet door shut.
Danny took a deep breath and said:
"I know you're angry, and I want to make things clear. I wasn't intentionally ignoring you yesterday, I swear! Something completely unexpected happened … "
Star raised a sarcastic eyebrow and folded her arms, waiting for his explanation.
"Something unexpected happened? Really? What could be more important than our date, Danny?"
Danny stammered for a moment, then decided to tell her the truth:
"I was fighting a group of ghosts that suddenly appeared, and... I completely forgot about time! I couldn't do anything, I swear!"
Star considered him for a moment before exhaling in frustration. She looked skeptical, but not entirely convinced.
"Really? All the time? And you didn't even think to text?"
Danny tried to smile apologetically, but he knew his position was weak.
"I was so busy … I didn't know it would take this long."
Star gave him a searching look, then shook her head in frustration.
"I don't know, Danny … I feel like you're not taking things seriously. But … well, I'll think about it."
This was better than he expected! At least she didn't yell at him or cut him off completely. He smiled lightly and said,
"Trust me, I'll make it up to you. How about we go out today after school?"
Star sighed, but finally nodded.
"Well ... one last chance, Danny."
He sighed in relief and raised his hand to wipe his forehead before continuing on his way. Little did he know, the real trouble had yet to begin ...
A few minutes later, the other Danny appeared in the hallway, heading over to where Star was standing, still thinking about her conversation with Danny.
"Star!" he called her, his voice a little guilty and kind.
She turned to him slowly, then narrowed her eyes.
"Oh, great! What do you have this time?"
Danny II didn't understand the sarcastic tone in her voice, so he continued, trying to calm the situation:
"I know I made a mistake by not coming yesterday, but I really want to explain to you!"
Star's eyebrows crossed, but she didn't interrupt him, instead waiting to hear what he had to say.
"There was a total emergency … I was on my way to see you, but Mr. Lancer caught me and made me redo an entire report because I made a typo!"
Star looked at him in surprise, then narrowed her eyes.
"Wait … what? A school report? But you just said you were fighting a ghost?"
"What?!" Danny II's eyes widened, suddenly realizing he'd gotten himself into trouble. He tried to smile to sound confident, but felt sweat start to drip from his forehead.
"Oh, I mean … yeah, I was fighting a ghost, but … but then I had to redo the report, and … and … "
Star paused for a moment, then burst out laughing sarcastically.
"You're making fun of me, aren't you? Do you think I'm stupid? Don't you at least have a solid excuse?!"
"What?! No, no! I'm serious!"
She shook her head in frustration and turned to walk away.
"That's it, Danny. Don't try to convince me with any more ridiculous lies!"
Danny II stood in shock, not realizing how things had gone so bad … but the worst was yet to come.
Danny was on his way out of school when he noticed Star looking even angrier than before, and raised an eyebrow in confusion. Hadn't things been worked out between them? …
Things were bad … worse than Danny had ever imagined. When he approached her, she wasn't just angry — she was really angry, as if something else had happened after their conversation.
"Let me guess … " Star said, crossing her arms, giving him a challenging look, "Did you come up with a third excuse? Or do you have a new story this time?"
"What?!" Danny I raised his eyebrows in confusion. "What are you talking about? We agreed this morning that I would make it up to you today!"
Star laughed sarcastically as she shook her head. "Ah, right! But then, you decided to come back to me minutes later with a completely different excuse! Do you think I can't tell the difference between your lies?!"
"What?! But I didn't ... I didn't come back to you again!"
"Really? So, were you talking to me in the morning or the morning after? Because you gave me two completely different stories!"
Danny I started to panic. Danny II had to do something! But how could he explain this to Star without making his argument sound completely ridiculous?
"Star, I swear, something strange is happening here!"
"Yes, it's you! And you've become really bad at lying, Danny." She said, pushing him away a little, then turning to leave.
He was about to follow her, but before he could, someone grabbed him by the shoulder.
"Oh, Danny, great!" came a mocking voice from behind him. He turned to see Sam and Tucker standing there, both looking at him sharply.
"Now, can you tell us why you were talking to us this morning about something, and then came back a few minutes later talking like you never saw us?" Sam said, putting her hands on her hips.
"What?!" Danny I cried out in despair. "I didn't do it!"
"Well, someone who looks just like you did it!" Tucker said, crossing his arms. "Because you came to us this morning and asked about math , and then ten minutes later you came back and asked the same question again as if we hadn't already told you!"
"And that's not all!" Sam added angrily. "A few hours later, she met me in the library and asked me if I was mad at you, and when I asked why, you told me you didn't know why! But you knew perfectly well that Star was mad at you! Danny, what's wrong with you?!"
Danny was the first to be in shock. Things were getting worse at a terrifying speed! Now, not only Star, but even Sam and Tucker were starting to suspect him!
And not only that.
"Danny!" A familiar voice came from behind, filled with anger.
He turned slowly, to find Jazz standing there, her eyes narrowed with intense anger.
"Jazz ... ?"
"I want an explanation!" she said, putting her hands on her hips. "Why have you been barging into my room over and over again today? You came twice, once asking for a book, and the next time you came asking the same question as if you'd never seen me before!"
Danny opened his mouth to answer, but he couldn't find any suitable words. He was surrounded entirely by people who had trusted him ... and now, they were all angry with him without him knowing the real reason.
His life has turned into a nightmare of misunderstandings ... and all because there's another "Danny" lurking around!
But how would he explain it to them without making them look like he'd completely lost his mind?!
Danny II watched Danny I, and what had happened to him, a weight of guilt weighing on his chest. He wasn't supposed to be here. He wasn't supposed to exist in the first place.
"All I did was cause trouble for Danny … " he muttered to himself.
The situation was getting worse every day. Star was furious, Sam and Tucker were doubting their friend, and even Jazz was starting to look at Danny I like he was crazy. All because of him!
"I'd better get away ... maybe that's how things will get better."
Indeed, he got up and started to leave, moving away from the city, not realizing that by doing so ... he was taking half of Danny I's power with him.
Meanwhile, Danny I felt something strange. It was as if his energy was slowly fading, as if something was siphoning his power for no apparent reason.
But he didn't have time to think about it, because Vlad suddenly appeared in front of him, floating in the air and smiling confidently.
"Oh, Danny, you look … sick today!" Vlad said in a sarcastic voice.
Danny tried to transform into his ghost form, but it felt like his body refused to respond. When he finally succeeded ... he realized the horrific truth — he was too weak!
Vlad smirked as he saw Danny's hesitation. "What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"
He didn't have time to react, because Vlad attacked him so quickly that he couldn't even dodge it! He received a direct blow that knocked him into a wall, and he fell to the ground, gasping for air.
"Impossible ... Why can't I fight?!"*
He had to escape ... now!
With a great effort, he used the last of his energy to flee, leaving Vlad watching him with a triumphant smile.
"You can run, Danny ... but you can't hide."
Danny arrived at Star's house, barely able to stand. He had no choice; he had to tell her the truth, even if she sounded completely crazy.
There was a knock on the door, and when Star opened it, she couldn't hide her surprise.
"Danny?! What's wrong? You look like you're about to collapse!"
"Star … " he panted, "I know you won't believe me … but I have to tell you the truth."
She looked at him suspiciously, but didn't interrupt.
"There … there are two of me. I split into two separate individuals, and Danny II and I were trying to deal with it, but we didn't tell anyone. And he … he's gone, which is why I'm so weak now!"
Star stared at him, then laughed sarcastically.
"Really, Danny? That's your best excuse yet? You split into two people?! You expect me to believe that?"
"Please, Star, I'm not lying this time!"
But Star shook her head in disappointment.
"I'm done with these lies, Danny."
This was more than he could bear. Feeling the last of his energy running out, he turned to leave. Maybe he could convince someone else … maybe Jazz would believe him?
He was on his way to Jazz's house when he felt a sudden chill sweep over the place. He stopped, panting, trying to look around, but before he could do anything, he heard a familiar voice behind him:
"It's your time, Danny."
He quickly turned around, but it was too late — Vlad was there, his hand glowing with green energy.
"You can't escape this time."
Danny tried to resist, but he was too weak … With one blow, he lost consciousness completely.
"Now, let's see what we can do with you." Vlad said with a triumphant smile, before disappearing with him in a vortex of energy.
The next morning, Jazz was knocking on Star's door, looking extremely worried.
"Star! Have you seen Danny?! He's gone!"
Star froze in place, a sliver of worry creeping in. "What do you mean?"
"He was so weak yesterday! He could barely stand, and when I tried looking for him this morning … he was nowhere to be found!"
Star felt her heart drop. Danny was weak? He'd said that … he'd said he was getting weaker because another version of him was gone … and he'd been telling the truth all along!
She put her hand over her mouth in shock. "Oh my god … I was wrong!"
Danny wasn't lying ...
She turned to Tucker and Sam, who were watching the conversation anxiously.
"Danny wasn't lying, he told me!" she said worriedly. "There were two of him, that explains all his strange behavior!"
Tucker's eyes widened, as Sam said in shock, "Wait ... are you saying Danny was acting weird because he was a clone?!"
"That explains everything … " Jazz muttered anxiously, "Oh, that means Danny is in danger!"
"We have to save him!" Tucker said quickly.
Star looked at her friends determinedly, then clenched her fists.
"Come on ... let's get Danny back!"
They had no time to waste. Once everyone understood the truth, they realized that the only way to save Danny was to find the second Danny ... and bring him back by any means necessary!
"But where could he be?" Star wondered, crossing her arms.
"According to Danny, he's gone, and wants to get away from everything," Tucker said thoughtfully. "If I were a copy of Danny and wanted to disappear, where would I go?"
Sam looked at them and said seriously, "A quiet place … far from the city, where no one can find it easily."
Jazz thought for a moment before raising her head sharply. "The hill!"
"What?" Tucker asked.
"Danny always went to the hill outside town when he needed to think. Maybe Danny II did the same thing!"
They looked at each other … then immediately took off for the hill, praying that Jazz's hunch was correct.
Indeed, they found Danny II sitting there, staring into the distance with a face heavy with regret.
"Danny!" Star called, panting from running.
He turned to them in surprise. "What are you doing here?"
"We're here to take you with us!" Jazz said firmly.
But Danny II turned his face away. "No … I can't go back. All I did was cause trouble for Danny I. If I hadn't been here, he wouldn't be in this mess."
"He's in danger, Danny!" Star cried, grabbing him by the wrist. "Vlad has him, and he's so vulnerable because you're away! He needs you!"
Danny II's eyes widened in shock. "Vlad?!"
"Yes!" Tucker said. "And we don't know what horrible things he's doing to him now! You know he won't stop there, right?!"
Danny II clenched his fist, clearly in an internal struggle. He had left because he thought his departure was the solution … but it wasn't. Danny was suffering because of him!
He took a deep breath, then stood up. "Okay … let's save him!"
Everyone looked at him with admiration, then they set off back to the city, but they didn't realize that time was running out ...
At that moment, Danny I was writhing in pain, trapped inside a glass tube filled with radioactive energy, while Vlad stood in front of him, watching him with a devilish grin.
"Ah, Danny, what a great experiment!" Vlad said as he examined the data on his screen. "Thanks to now having your DNA, my experiments are now in place … before, they weren't entirely stable. So, let me fix this and make use of you."
Danny felt a violent pull through his body, as if his energy was being drained against his will. He cried out in pain, but he couldn't do anything.
Beside him, there was another glass basin … Inside was a pale shadow that looked just like him, but his eyes glowed a dark green.
"That would be my perfect version of you, Danny," Vlad said with a cold smile. "A powerful ghost … follow me alone!"
Danny the First closed his eyes in pain. He could feel himself growing weaker, and his breathing was slowing. If someone didn't act to save him soon ... there might not be a Danny Phantom left to save him!
It was nearly midnight when Danny II, Star, Sam, Tucker, and Jazz arrived at Vlad's mansion, which looked more threatening than they expected.
"Well, what's the plan?" Star whispered as she looked at the massive mansion.
"We have to move quickly," Danny II replied firmly. "Vlad won't expect two of me."
Sam looked at him worriedly. "Are you sure you're okay? You haven't fully recovered your strength yet."
Danny II smiled confidently. "Once I get close to Danny I, my strength will return to me in full. I won't let Vlad win."
They looked at each other with determination, then took off.
Down below, Danny I could barely keep his eyes open. Every muscle in his body ached, and he felt his life slowly slipping away.
"Ah, don't give up yet, Danny," Vlad said with a sly smile as he watched the experiment progress. "I'm almost done with my masterpiece."
Vlad pointed to the nearby glass tank, where an evil version of Danny was slowly taking shape. His skin was extremely pale, and his eyes glowed with dark green energy.
"Once this copy is complete, I won't need you anymore."
Danny tried to speak, but his voice came out weak and barely audible. He could only think of one thing: "I hope someone comes ... before it's too late."
At this moment, Star, Sam, Tucker, and Jazz storm into the lab, led by Danny II.
"Vlad, release him now!" Star shouted angrily.
Vlad turned to them angrily, but was quickly surprised when he saw the second Danny. "Oh? Can someone explain to me!.. What's going on here!?"
Danny II didn't reply, but instead charged straight towards Danny I, feeling a tremendous energy surge through his body as soon as he got close to him.
In an instant, his balance was restored … and his strength was fully restored!
Vlad frowned. "This is not possible!"
But Danny II didn't give him a chance to absorb it, as he unleashed a powerful energy wave that detonated the equipment around them.
"Come on, Danny, get up!" he said, smashing the glass tube holding Danny I.
Danny I fell into his arms, but soon felt his strength slowly returning to him. He looked at Danny II and felt something he'd never felt before ... like they were two parts that complemented each other.
But before they could say anything, Vlad fired a violent green energy towards them!
"I don't care what happens... but you won't get away that easily!"
They dodged the attack at the last moment, but suddenly, the glass tank next to them opened … and Danny's copy came out, surrounded by a frightening green aura!
"Well … that's not good!" Tucker muttered.
Danny I looked at Danny II, then they smiled at each other.
"ready?"
"Let's do this together!"
Then they set off to confront Vlad and his evil version ... !
Everyone stood in shock as they watched the scene in front of them … There were *three Danny* now, but none of them were in a position to win.
Danny I* and *Danny II* are still split, making them weaker than usual, while the *Evil Version* doesn't seem to be complete, and only has half of Danny's energy, making her unstable and weak.
Yet Vlad stood confidently, his energy surging as he laughed contemptuously.
"Okay, boys, this isn't quite the outcome I wanted, but that's okay. I'm going to take you all down now and do it all over again!"
The evil version of Dani was the first to collapse, her body trembling and her energy leaking unsteadily.
"What … is happening to me?!" the evil clone cried out in a broken voice, her eyes glowing unnaturally.
Danny the First looked at Vlad and said weakly, "You don't seem to understand very well, Vlad ... There is only one Danny Phantom."
Then he looked at his second copy and said playfully, "You know what I mean."
Vlad roared in anger, but before he could do anything, the evil clone let out a loud scream, before collapsing to the ground gasping, sparks of dark green aura shooting out of it.
Vlad stared as the evil clone appeared to collapse, before his anger turned fully towards Danny I and Danny II. "You wasted my time … but it doesn't matter, I'm going to finish you off now!"
Vlad unleashed a massive energy wave at them, and neither Danny I nor Danny II had a chance to dodge. The blow hit them squarely, and they were thrown backward with force, slamming into the lab wall!
"Danny!" Star screamed as she ran towards them, but Vlad fired another energy ball that made her retreat.
Vlad stood over Danny I and II, who could barely move. They were panting, feeling unnaturally weak … their split was to blame.
Danny II looked at Danny I and said in a broken voice, "This … can't continue … we're not strong enough!"
"I know … " Danny muttered first, trying to get up but falling again.
Vlad was raising his hand now, mustering up massive energy to finish this completely.
"Goodbye, Danny Phantom!"
The moment Vlad was about to deliver his finishing blow, Danny's friends quickly moved to protect him.
"We won't let you hurt him!" Star screamed as she stood in front of Danny I and II, her fists clenched tightly.
Tucker took out a small device and pressed a button that released an electromagnetic wave, causing Vlad's energy to tremble for a moment. At the same time, Sam threw spectral bombs that exploded around him, causing him to retreat momentarily.
Jazz grabbed her anti-ghost wand and attacked Vlad from behind, but it barely affected him. Vlad slowly turned around, anger burning in his eyes.
"You're just a bunch of kids, you won't hold me back anymore!" he shouted, before unleashing a violent energy wave that knocked them all to the ground.
They were desperate ... they were losing!*
Amidst this devastation, Danny I closed his eyes, feeling helpless, but inside him … something was changing.
"I won't be weak ... I won't let this happen!"*
Suddenly, his body began to radiate a strange energy, an energy he had never felt before. He felt as if all the missing parts of himself were returning to him ... and even more!
He slowly opened his eyes, finding the second Danny smiling at him, slowly disappearing, as if merging into him. But that wasn't all ... there was the version of Danny that Vlad had created ... and she was merging with him too.
A wave of energy exploded out of Danny, forcing Vlad to retreat for the first time! Danny opened his eyes, feeling a tremendous amount of energy surging through his body. Everything was clearer … faster … stronger!
Vlad looked at Danny in shock. "Impossible … What have you done?!"
Danny smiled, clenching his fist as a glowing green aura formed around it. "I've fully recovered … and really! Thanks for the extra power!"
Then he disappeared in a moment and appeared in front of Vlad, and dealt him a strong punch that made him hit the wall!
"Time to end this!" Danny shouted, as everyone watched in amazement … Danny Phantom was back, but this time, stronger than ever!
Vlad slowly rose from the rubble, placing his hand on his head as he stared at Danny in shock. This boy wasn't the same as before ... his power flowed around him like a hurricane of glowing green energy, his eyes radiating a confidence Vlad had never seen before.
"This … this isn't possible!" Vlad muttered, gathering his energy for a new attack.
But Danny didn't give him a chance.
In the blink of an eye, he lunged at him at breakneck speed, striking him in the stomach with such force that Vlad flinched, followed by a high kick that sent him flying into the air. Danny disappeared again, reappearing directly above Vlad, charged with tremendous energy, before striking him with a fiery punch that sent him crashing to the ground.
A blast wave erupted from the point Vlad fell, causing the entire laboratory to shake!
"Wow … " Tucker muttered as he watched.
"He … doesn't look like the Danny we know!" Star said in surprise, but her features quickly turned into a smile.
Amidst the smoke, Vlad struggled to his feet, but his anger was clear. "Don't think you won so easily, boy!"
He gathered all his energy into a huge, glowing, dark red ball, and then fired it with all his might at Danny.
But Danny didn't move.
The moment the energy touched him, it didn't cause any harm ... it just absorbed it!
He opened his eyes, raised his hand, and then fired the same energy but doubled, hitting Vlad and completely destroying his spectral shield.
Vlad fell to his knees, breathing heavily. He no longer had the energy to fight. He raised his head and looked at Danny, who was staring at him coldly.
"What … are you going to do to me now?" Vlad muttered.
Danny walked slowly towards him, then stopped, taking a deep breath. "You have a choice, Vlad … either we keep this up all day, or … you leave now, and I don't see you again."
Vlad hesitated, but Danny's look was enough to tell him this wasn't an empty threat.
"I'm leaving … but I'll never forget this." He said before turning into a red light and disappearing.
Danny stayed put for a few moments, before letting out a long sigh.
"it's all over … "
Everyone ran towards him, and Star hugged him tightly before she realized what she was doing, so she quickly backed away, blushing.
"This … was amazing!" Tucker exclaimed.
"Are you okay?" Jazz asked worriedly.
Danny nodded, though he felt something was still different inside him. He wasn't sure if that was good or bad …
But there was one thing he was sure of: he had been wrong to keep his friends out of his problem in the first place.
Danny sat with his friends in the park after everything that had happened, looking at them with embarrassment. He knew he'd caused a lot of chaos, and there was no excuse for what they'd been through.
"I know that I … I haven't been honest with you, and that all this division and chaos has only made things so much worse. I didn't mean to hurt any of you, I was just trying to deal with everything on my own … " Danny said, sighing.
Everyone stared at him in silence for a moment, before Jazz smiled and patted his shoulder. "Danny, we know you, and we know you weren't trying to complicate things. I was just afraid you'd burden us."
"But we're a team!" Tucker added enthusiastically. "No matter what, we're always by your side!"
Sam nodded. "Next time, just *tell* us what's going on. We're here to help you, not leave everything to chance."
Danny looked at everyone, and his heart warmed. He was never alone … he had the greatest friends he could ever dream of.
"So ... you forgive me?"
Tucker laughed. "Well, not until you pay me for all the tools I broke during the fight with Vlad!"
"And I want to make up for the embarrassment Danny II caused me!" Star said, crossing her arms, but there was a faint glint in her eyes.
Danny smiled, then stood up determinedly. "I promise … I won't leave you out of the picture again."
After hours of rest, Danny decides it's time to right the wrong ... his messed-up date with Star.
He called her, and after a moment of silence, she replied, "Are you going to cancel it again? Because I'm not giving you another chance, Phantom."
"No! I swear I'll be there, on time, and without any ghosts or other versions of myself!"
Star laughed lightly and said, "Okay, I'll see if you can keep your promise this time."
That night, Danny and Star sat in the restaurant where they'd originally met, away from all the chaos, finally on a real date. The atmosphere was relaxed, and their conversation was free of the usual tension.
Star looked at him and said, "You know, despite everything that's happened, I don't think I would trade you for anyone else."
Danny felt his face heat up, but he smiled with rare confidence. "And I'm glad you didn't lose hope in me … even after all this."
Star extended her hand, and he extended his too, and they held each other for a moment in silence, while a small laugh escaped her.
"But if you cancel another appointment, I'll make you pay dearly for it!"
Danny laughed. "Deal."
And with that, it's finally all over ... or at least until a new problem arises, as always with *Danny Phantom!*
