Chapter 3:
The next day, in history class, Prof. Dexter Collins was explaining about an old Arhurian legend. "He was the son of Tom a' Lincoln and Anglitora and thus, the grandson of King Arthur," says Prof. Collins, "when he learned that his mother killed his father, he killed her! He then joined his half-brother, the Faerie Knight, on many adventures!"
"Prof. Collins, you do realize that's all just a legend, right," asks Velma.
"Perhaps," says Prof. Collins, "but legend says, his ghost may return, possessing his armor and seeks his grandfather's sword! My old colleague, Professor James Hyde White found that sword, but he hid it somewhere and never told me! Such a shame! I would do anything to find it!"
"Sounds like a mystery," says Fred.
"Who believes in curses," asks Velma.
"I do," says Daphne.
"Uh… yeah, who says they're not real," asks Fred.
"Like, curses scare me, Man," says Shaggy, "just the thought that you could be picked on by some magical force!" Shaggy then hides under his desk. He then realizes he embarrassed himself again. "Never mind."
...
Shaggy was on his way back home, with his surprise for Scooby. He then sees his neighbor. "Like, hi Mr. Byrne," says Shaggy.
"Hello Shaggy," says Mr. Byrne. Shaggy then enters his house.
...
Shaggy gives Scooby his new collar. "Check it out," says Shaggy, "SD, for Scooby-Doo!"
"Ri rove rit!"
"Wish I could understand you," says Shaggy. Scooby then licks Shaggy, who laughs.
