Chapter 5:

Shaggy and Scooby arrived at Oliver Jordan's workplace and found Velma. "Hi, remember me," asks Shaggy.

"Right… Babby Dodgers," Velma guessed.

"Shaggy Rogers!"

"Velma, is this a friend of yours," asks Mr. Jordan.

"Barley," says Velma, "and that might be his dog!"

"Rello," says Scooby.

"Amusing. Well, have fun!" Mr. Jordan then leaves.

"What do you guys want," asks Velma.

"This dog can talk, but I can't understand him," says Shaggy.

"A talking dog," asks Velma, "really?"

"Tell her what you told me," says Shaggy.

"Ra ran ris rin rouble rat ra rastle rith ra rooky right," says Scooby.

"You call that talking," asks Velma.

"Maybe you can wright it down," Shaggy suggests.

"Fine," says Velma. She does so and then looks at it. "Wait, those do look like words! Jinkies! I'll see if I can figure this out!"

"Great, by the way, at the museum, Scooby and me were running from a dude in knight's armor," says Shaggy.

"Weird," says Velma, "maybe you should talk to the Sheriff!"

"Right!" Shaggy and Scooby then exit.

...

As the two walk out, they stop and realize… "We can't go to the sheriff," says Shaggy, "he's looking for you!"

"Ren, rat ro re ro," asks Scooby.

...

So, they talk to Fred. "A knight at the museum," asks Fred, "sounds like a mystery!"

"So, can you…"

"Help you guys figure this out," asks Fred, "sure, let's go to the museum!"

"I was thinking you could talk to the sheriff for us…"

"Let's go," says Fred.

"I'm in," says Daphne.

"Oh… uh… you were listening," asks Fred.

"Yeah and this sounds like fun," says Daphne, "let's go!" She then walks.

Shaggy and Scooby notice Fred staring at Daphne. "Oh boy," they both say.

...

The four arrive at the museum. "It's like being in a real castle," says Daphne.

"Yeah, like, with stuff from other time periods in it," says Shaggy.

"Okay, it'll be easier if we split up," says Fred, "Daphne and me will check the Roman wing while you two check the Japanese wing!" They then separate.

...

"There's a maniac in armor and they wanna have a date night," says Shaggy, "just for the record, I like girls!"

"Rat's rokay, Ri refer rogs!"

The two search and Shaggy finds a hat. "Huh, where have I seen this before…" The Black Knight appears. The two turn around and see him. "Figure that out later!" Shaggy and Scooby run away and the Black Knight follows.

...

Fred and Daphne search. "So, you think this could be related to that old curse," asks Daphne.

"I'm more of the yes and no kind of person," says Fred, "I like to see for myself! So… what are you in…"

They then heard Shaggy and Scooby running and screaming and they run into Fred and Daphne. "Anything alright," asks Daphne.

They then all see the Black Knight. "The Black Knight," says Fred.

"From the legend," says Daphne. She then takes a pic with her phone.

"Get out," says the Black Knight.

All four of them run and the Black Knight follows.

Chorus: Scooby-Dooby-Doo, where are you?

We got some work to do now

Scooby-Dooby-Doo, where are you?

We need some help from you now

Come on, Scooby-Doo, I see you

pretending you got a sliver

You're not fooling me, 'cause I can see

the way you shake and shiver

You know we got a mystery to solve, so Scooby-Doo, be ready for your act

Don't hold back

And, Scooby-Doo, if you come through, you're going to have yourself a Scooby Snack

That's a fact

Scooby-Dooby-Doo, here are you

You're ready and you're willing

If we can count on you, Scooby-Doo

I know we'll catch that villain!

The four manage to leave the castle as the Black Knight watches.

...

"You were supposed to talk to the sheriff," says Velma.

"Things got complicated," says Shaggy.

"We saw the knight," says Daphne, showing Velma her pic.

"That doesn't mean the legend is real," says Velma, "but I did figure out what the dog said. There's a man that's being held in the museum! He also has been trying to warn you about the knight the whole time!"

"I got a talking dog, but I can't understand him," says Shaggy, "how is that fair?"

"Wait, Velma, use that computer to show us the guy we heard about," says Fred, "Prof. Hyde White!"

Velma does so and Scooby sees him. "Rat's him! Rat's him!"

"I think I might have an idea on who our knight could be," says Fred, "our history teacher, Prof. Collins!"

"That's right," says Daphne, "he knew Prof. Hyde White and he talked about the legend! He probably wants the sword!"

"Then it's obvious what we should do," says Velma.

"Pay Prof. Collins a visit," says Fred.

"What," asks Velma, "I was talking about seeing the sheriff! Vigilantism is a crime!"

"I say we go for Fred's idea," says Daphne, "I've never had this much fun!"

"Fine, but if we get arrested, I'm going to throw you two under the bus," says Velma.

...

The gang arrives at Prof. Collins' house. "Boy, he sure likes all that fancy Camelot stuff," says Shaggy.

"And here's the legend he was talking about," says Daphne.

"Who's there," asks Prof. Collins. The gang all hide. He enters and searches. Prof. Collins then exits the room and the gang quickly leave.
