Chapter 7:

Daphne is now being held captive by the Black Knight and his partner, Oliver Jordan.

"So, it was a trick," says Daphne, "how did you even know we suspected Prof. Collins?"

The Black Knight doesn't answer.

"He's not the 'talk about himself' type," says Jordan.

"What's this all about," asks Daphne.

"Finding the sword of course," says Jordan, "my friend here believes that thing could have real magical powers, but I'm really in this because of all the money the real Excalibur could bring me!"

"The Sword in the Stone and Excalibur were not the same thing," says the Black Knight.

"You're the expert," says Jordan.

"Who is he," asks Daphne.

"Like I'm going to reveal my friend's secret identity," says Jordan, "you and your friends have been snooping for way too long! You have no idea how ridiculous I thought it was to learn that our plan was going to be ruined by four teenagers and a dog! What's next? Three toddlers and a skunk? It's insane! The only flaw is that your friends might come looking for you, but by the time they get here, it'll be already too late! You'll be in our secret dungeon with the professor, who has already told us where the sword is!"

"So, are you going to fly all the way to England," asks Daphne.

"That's the beauty of it," says Jordan, "when the British came to America, they brought the sword with them! Don't ask me why, but they did! Blackie, take her to the dungeon!"

The Black Knight pulls a lever and a secret door opens and the Black Knight takes Daphne through it…

...

The rest of the gang notice Daphne's disappearance and look for her. "She's probably still at the museum, come on," says Fred.

"Why not," asks Shaggy, "it's not like there's a black knight there anymore!" The gang head for the museum.
