Chapter 9:

The gang race to get to the sword.

Chorus: I've been down

Wandering past second street

And looking at the ghosts of you and me

And thinking back on all of those memories

Of how we used to be

I've been hearing

I hear those voices over the noises of the breaking glass

And all those plans we had to get us through

They're never coming true

And I hope and hope

That you won't forget

And I'm hoping, hope you know that I can clearly see

The ghosts of you and me

The ghosts of you and me

The ghosts of you and me!

Black Knight tries to pull the sword, but he can't. "What," asks Black Knight, "no! I am worthy!"

"And why," asks Daphne, "after what you did to Prof. Hyde White, you think you're worthy? Maybe the sword will only go for someone with honor! Did you think of that?"

"Enough," says Black Knight, "what would any of you know? There is no one…"

Scooby sniffs the sword and it starts to move a little. He's confused and grabs it… and to his surprise, he pulls it.

"You guys seeing this," asks Shaggy.

"Roes ris rake re re ring rof Rengland," asks Scooby.

"What," asks Black Knight.

"Great job," says Jordan, "the dog is worthier than the both of us!"

"No," says Black Knight, "I will have that sword, even if I have to pry it from that mutt's cold dead paws!" Black Knight then comes after Scooby…
