Chapter 11:

"Prof. Hyde White is getting some help," says Prof. Collins.

"Sorry we got you in jail," says Fred.

"Think nothing of it," says Prof. Collins, "I was a logical suspect. As for Mr. Byrne, he was always obsessed with the tales of King Arthur to the point where he believes he's been chosen as King Arthur's successor! That's why he did all this! Though, I must say, I had no idea the sword would choose your dog!"

"When Shaggy told us we were going to trap you, that must've been what inspired him to use you as a scapegoat," says Daphne.

"But how'd he meet Jordan," asks Fred.

"I looked into that," says Velma, "Byrne asked him to meet at Funland where he explained his plan!"

"Hey Kids," says Sheriff Buzby, "you too, Scooby. Would you like to see Mr. Byrne while we're taking him away?"

"Sure," says Fred.

...

Byrne was being pulled into a police van. "It was supposed to be my destiny," says Byrne, "and I would've gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids and your dog!" And he's taken away and everyone watches.

Everyone cheers for the gang.

...

And with that, Shaggy was no longer just an outcast, because he now had friends and the four enter the school together while Scooby waits outside the building.
