It was a chaste kiss, and it didn't last long, but sure it was full of meaning. None of them knew what to do exactly, they just let their instinct take over, making the experience even more special.

When the air need became unbearable Celina slowly detatched herself from Yuya, both were still panting heavily, and had deep blush on their faces.

After realizing what happened, she was ashamed of herself.

"Sorry, I shouldn't have done that..." Celina excluded herself before trying to leave.

But Yuya wouldn't have it.

"Celina, stop!" Yuya said grabbing her wrist.

"That was too much, I don't even know what came to me..." Celina said looking down before getting interrupted.

"I liked it, I really did" Yuya said with

determination.

She was shocked, this was so out of the world for her.

"He liked it? I felt the same, what does this mean?" Celina thought to herself.

"We are still friends, right?" Celina asked with sadness in her voice.

How could he not confort her, with those gorgeous gree eyes at risk of sheding tears.

"For sure... I' m confused a little too about what just happened, but I feel we share something special." Yuya said trying to sooth her.

"I feel so much better knowing you understand, and that you didn't reject it" Celina advanced hugging him again.

"How could I ever do that, I would call it magical for lack of a better term... listen, I know we can get through with this, one little step at a time" Yuya returned the hug.

"I'm looking forward to, and thanks" She smiled like only her could and he smiled back, before ending the hug.

"Oh, it's really late, I have to go now, but we'll see each other soon, ok?" Yuya said knowing his mother would be mad at him for not being home by then.

"About that, I decided that I'll look for a place to stay in the Standard dimension, Duel Academy only brings me bad memories." Celina said looking at her surroundings.

"That's a great new, can't wait to see you again"

Yuya was glad she was moving on, finally taking his leave.

"Goodnight and see you soon, Yuya" Celina said with a small smile.

"Same to you, goodnight Celina!" Yuya said waving his hand and returning her smile.

Celina turned before looking towards the full moon.

"This sure isn't a twist I'd expected but I' all up for it..." Celina thought as she smiled to herself.

It was clear now, that feeling she couldn't point out... was love, and for the looks of it, it was also mutual.

She couldn't wait to see him again, the future for the girl raised as a soldier had never looked brighter.
