After getting sucked into the dimensional gate, our heroes found themselves in a totally different scenario, they took a moment to regain their balance after the impact from the fall, observing their surroundings.
"Just where did we end up this time?" Celina said while taking in the void of the place.
"I don't know but this place is totally destroyed, just what happened here?" Yuya said while also looking around.
"I know..." Shay said closing his eyes.
"No... Don't tell me..." Celina started while frowning.
"This is my home, Heartland City, we are in the XYZ Dimension, or to better say the ruins of it..."
Shay said looking down, his anger rising but managed to keep it in check.
Yuya, Celina and the others started walking towards the once called city of Heartland, the road crumbled, every building was demolished, there were no people around, and they all knew who were the culprits.
"I was told about it but seeing with my own eyes is a totally different thing..." Celina said with her eyes full of regret.
She fell on her knees, desperation taking over on her fragile heart.
"I should have done something sooner... but I didn't know, I was always kept in the dark, not knowing the truth about their actions, so many innocent lives were taken away..." She was now crying her heart out, a demonstration of feelings she once didn't even know she had in her. Yuya quickly came to her side and Shay stopped walking.
"We know that you weren't part of this, you may be from the fusion dimension but you are nothing alike the professor and the soldiers of Academia, you are one of our friend and comrade in the Lancers!" Yuya said while kneeling in front of her and drying her tears with his jacket.
"Yuya is right, I have no grudge against you, Celina." Shay said after a little while.
"But... what about your sister Lulu?" Celina asked still shocked.
"I trust we'll be able to find her, we just need to stay strong and tight, it will be key to victory in this war" Shay said with newfound hope.

After a moment, they separated from each other and Celina was back to her usual confindent self, sporting a solemn smile, and we all know who put that on her beautiful face.
"Guys, I can assure you that I'll give my 100% to help, I' ll personally save Lulu from the professor, you have my word, Shay." Celina said
"Nof If I save her first, but I appreciate the help" Shay said while smiling for a little moment, he wasn't the same af before either after their adventure in the Synchro dimension, especially when knowing Crow.
"Now that things between us are settled, we should find a way to travel to the Fusion Dimension..." Yuya said while reflecting.
"I know how we can, I just hope the dimensional portal me and Yuto used to go to the Standard Dimension is still intact" Shay answered swiftly.
"Sounds like a plan, lead the way Shay!" Celina said ready to go.
And in that moment they heard some commotion somewhere near, and when they got there they noticed three Academia soldiers on the ground easily defeated by a blonde boy with a dark coat.
"Do you know him?" Asked Yuya to Shay.
"Actually yes, his name is Kite, and he's one of our last remaing friends and a really good duelist" Shay said while glad inside to still have someone.
"I see, let's not waste any time and let's go!" Celina said while advancing towards him, the others following behind.
