Chapter 7 meet the rabbit spirit
It's been a week as Naruto was in fraxinus, he should be in school but after all the drama the past week from keeping shido safe from tohka and origami, he needed a break so he was able to get a sick day and come here to see what happened.
Looking at the screen, he watches the recording of what happened with shido date, Naruto was surprised that shido somehow came back from the dead.
When the video ended Naruto was left speechless, from tohka getting so angry to shido coming back to life from the dead.
Reina came over, "it was definitely a surprise to see all of that."
Naruto looked up at Reina, "how did he even come back and how come both me and him have that ability? To seal away spirit power?"
"We don't know how you both have it, that is we're still trying to figure out," Reina explained as she came to sit down on the stairs.
"Well no matter what I'm glad it's all over, there will be no more spacelquakes," Naruto said with a smile as he thought his life was going to get back to normal.
"You're wrong, there is more than one Spirit out there," Reina said surprising Naruto.
"There are? How many could there possibly be?" Naruto ask.
"We don't know, but they come in all shapes and sizes with different abilities, you and shin are important to helping fraxinus to seal away spirits powers," Reina explained.
When the specialquake alarm went off, the screen turned on and the show was happening, Naruto eyes went wide.
"It's happening again!? already!" Naruto stood up as shido and Kotor came running in.
After the spacelquakes happened the screen got a good look at the Spirit, Naruto eyes went wide, "NO WAY!? I SAW HER BEFORE!?"
Everyone quickly looks at Naruto by surprise, Kotor looks down at Naruto, "you did? when?"
"Two times, the first was after the day I started my training, I met her at the shrine, the second time was during shido date," Naruto explains.
Shido looks surprised, "I met her at the shrine as well but it was yesterday ago."
Kotor smirk, "well that's good she will already know you two, as long you both left a good impression I'm sure this date could go easy."
They watched the screen and the ast arrived and started to attack and the spirit flew away from them as they fired at her.
Naruto and shido got angry especially Naruto who tightened up his fist as his knuckles began to turn white.
"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THEM! SHE'S NOT EVEN FIGHTING BACK SHE'S TRYING TO GET AWAY FROM THEM! SHE JUST A LITTLE GIRL" Naruto yelled.
"It doesn't even matter to the ast, the only good spirit is a dead spirit," Kotor told Naruto and that made naruto angry.
"That is not right! I will not allow them to hurt her! Kotor sent me down there!" Naruto demanded a Kotor smirk.
"Now that's the Naruto I like, termination in your eyes, all right then, get ready you two, the rabbit spirit needs your help," Kotor said as both ran to the teleporter.
The rabbit spirit soon ran into a building and Naruto and shido were teleported inside.
Both boys were standing next to each other in a dark area surrounded by playground equipment.
"do you really think she's going to show up?" Naruto ask.
"I don't really know? I hope she does, so we can help her," shido said as both waited.
Certainly they saw the rapid puppet right above their heads, she was floating upside down, "don't tell me you're here to bully Yoshinon too?"
She came down to her feet and the puppet kept saying, "No doubt the two lucky ledgers have returned for more, tell me why have you both returned?"
Naruto chuckled as he was about to introduce himself but Kotor stopped him, "hold it up we have to give you both your options."
Naruto looked annoyed, and listened to what the options were and when he heard what his was he completely shook his head and whispered to the earphone, "there is no way I'm saying that, after what happened last time."
Naruto looked at shido and whispered, "what did you get?" Shido whisper making Naruto roll his eyes, "you got to be kidding me, Kotor, why are you coming up with these ridiculous options?"
Shido was complaining in the earpiece, "Kotor, nobody actually talks like that when they're being serious."
Naruto facepalm before speaking, "look I'll see it, so shido can figure out how this rabbit spirit reacts to."
Naruto looked at the rabbit spirit and sounded so high and mighty, "excuse me but I don't know what you mean we are just wondering Vagabond."
The spirit looked at them for a moment before laughing well at least the puppet was, "I see you're a joker, nobody talks like that seriously."
Naruto smiled, "oh thank you, I was worried I might have made a bad joke, I'm Naruto and this here is my friend shido, can you tell us what's yours?"
"My name is Yoshinon, is it cute? is it cute?" Yoshinon asked them.
Shido smiles, "that's a nice name, so is that your name or the puppet?"
The room felt like it got colder, the spirit wasn't looking all that happy, Kotor was yelling at the two, "look what you done! Her happiness level is going down for shido!"
"I was just trying to figure out why she was speaking in ventriloquism?" Shido said to the earpiece but it was not in a whisper.
Yoshinon came a bit closer to the two boys and started to growl, "I do not know what you're talking about shido, what is ventriloquism?"
Shido looks pale as Naruto looks like he was about to panic but quickly jumped into action, "oh don't mind him, Yoshinon," Naruto padded shido on the head, "shido had always been the one for making bad jokes."
Shido nodded, "right sorry about the joke, Yoshinon is Yoshinon."
Naruto was relieved as Kotor spoke, "good, you both just focus on getting her happiness level back up again."
Naruto nodded, the puppet began to speak again, "so tell me, Naruto, shido, why have you both come here?"
Naruto looked a bit nervous as he couldn't believe he had a chance to ask a spirit out on a date, he couldn't deny he was actually feeling a bit jealous when shido went on his with Tohka.
Naruto squalled a lump before saying it, "I want to know will you will go on a date with us!"
Shido turned and looked at Naruto and gasp, Kotor yelled through the earpiece, "ARE YOU SERIOUS!"
Naruto panicked and quickly whispered in the earpiece, "I was thinking too much, I said the wrong word," Naruto looked worried but was hoping Kotor would understand.
"HOW DO YOU GET THIS SIMPLE WORD WRONG?! YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO SAY ME NOT US!" Kotor kept yelling forcing Naruto to remove the earpiece.
Looking at the spirits, or will the rabbit look a bit confused, "a double date? Is that what you're suggesting?"
Naruto nodded nervously, "ummm... Yeah."
The rabbit spirit went up with excitement, "very well then! Let's see which one of you can do better for a date with Yoshinon!"
Kotor took a deep breath before looking back at the screen, "a double date huh? Well this should be interesting to watch."
The three went to the jumbo gym and started playing around.
Sometime later, the spirit was on top of the jumbo gym, popping up and down, "look at me shido, look at me Naruto."
Naruto laughed, "I definitely see you Yoshinon!"
Shido looked a bit more worried, he didn't want to mess anything up like he had done before with getting the spirit angry again.
Suddenly the spirit tripped and fell but shido panicked and quickly ran over to catch her but the two accidentally kissed.
Naruto looked down disappointed, he was sad as he was hoping he would have gotten a chance to win but he quickly showed his head and reminded himself why they were here.
It took a moment for naruto to realize though, the spirit's Powers were not being sealed away.
Naruto felt something off and he turned around to see tohka was there looking angry, "shido? What were you just doing to that girl?"
Naruto took a step back looking afraid, "oh great, this can't be good," Naruto swallowed a huge lump before stepping in, "now hold on, tohka, it's not what it looks like, shido was just...!?"
"STAY OUT OF THIS!" tohka yelled as she used her spirit power to send Naruto to the wall.
"Ouch! that hurt!" Naruto yelled as he was rubbing the back of his head, before he could get back up some of the stuff collapsed on top of him, "why does this stuff always happen to me!?"
It took a couple minutes before Naruto was able to dig himself out, when Naruto was finally free and got out of the rubble, he spotted tohka arguing with the puppet.
Naruto went wide as he realized the spirit was getting upset not just tohka but for the rabbit spirit whose name might be Yoshinon.
Naruto tried to run over, "tohka! You have to give that back to her!"
It was too late however as the spirit got more angry and summoned a giant robotic rabbit right behind her, Naruto stopped I said I storm came shooting ice spikes at everyone.
Multiple ice spikes came at Naruto and before anything else a large flash of light appeared blinding everyone.
Everything went black.
Naruto is aware that he was back in a dream but only this time he was hearing another voice, it was much darker and it was much more angrier.
"I am free because of you!" Naruto heard as he continued to walk through the endless void.
"But it's only because you traded me! For that Crystal!" Naruto looking confused.
Naruto was looking around how he couldn't see anything but just an empty void, "Crystal? What Crystal?"
"You! The jinchuriki of the nine tails! HOW DARE YOU!?" The place shook as if there was an earthquake.
Naruto panicked but before he could do anything a large flashlight appeared again and it cost him to wake back up.
Gasp only to look around and realize he was back in fraxinus hospital room, getting back onto his feet and running out, wanting to make sure shido and everyone else was all right.
When he got to the front of the ship he heard Reina spoke to Kotor, "it's strange, there was a third Spirit there that created that light."
Kotor nodded, "is it possible Naruto could be a spirit?"
Reina looked tired but was thinking about it, "well it's possible but we don't know yet for sure, Naruto had no signs of being a spirit before other than what happened three years ago, with the records of him being discovered at the bottom of a crater from a specialquake."
Naruto walks over to the two, "what are you two talking about?"
They took him to the screen and turned it on to show the recording, when the ice spikes were coming to Naruto, the footage quickly passed and a split second everyone could see a giant ball of light along with a gold a large six point shuriken around the ball.
The video play where exploded into light and sent Naruto back into the wall.
Naruto's eyes widen, "wait so it's possible I could actually be a spirit?"
Right now look at Naruto, "we don't know for sure yet, you haven't shown any other signs of being a spirit, for the past 3 years you've been living a very normal life without causing any specialquakes, nor using any spirit power."
It was decided that they would keep this between the three of them for now.
Naruto went back to town, it was raining and he noticed the spirit was there again, "hey excuse me can we talk?"
The spirit looks sad but ran over to Naruto crying, "it's all right I'm here."
