Mavis searches for Carrie, following Dracula upsetting her, and everyone discovering Carrie was a superpowered human, resulting in Carrie running way in tears, thinking no one, Human or monster, truly accepts her… Mavis looks around the whole hotel, searching for Carrie, as her worry grows, thinking she may have run away from the hotel completely…
Mavis transforms into her bat form, before flying off out of a window, desperate to find Carrie, as she flies high into the sky above the hotel, looking everywhere down below, hoping Carrie hadn't gotten too far away, until she spots Carrie sitting on the roof of the hotel, all curled up into a ball, crying… Mavis flies down to Carrie, transforming back to her vampire form, and sits next to her Carrie… Carrie apologizes to Mavis, feeling like she's ruined Mavis's Birthday, but Mavis tells her it's neither a problem or her fault, and even apologizes for how her dad was mad at her, which Carrie begins to calm down…
Carrie opens up to Mavis, telling her everything she told Dracula about her tragic and dark past, resulting in her being in Transylvania in the first place, which only strengthens the Zing and bond between the girls even more, knowing Mavis had to grow up in a sheltered environment following her own mother's death by humans, but to learn how cruel most people were to Carrie, even her own mother, just brought Carrie & Mavis closer than ever, as they begin feeling their Zing just get stronger and stronger…
