A Match Made in Heaven
"Can I smoke in here?"
"Go ahead," Hanzo opened the window above his bed before heading to the fridge for a bottle of sake. It was late into the night, and Jesse kept his promise of keeping him occupied, whether it be with amazing sex or just them talking and getting to know one another. They'd even gone as far as bathing together and ordering food. He didn't need to eat either, but he never really got to share meals with anyone when he was alive. He wanted to have everything he couldn't, now that he could.
He watched him dig through the pocket of his jacket and pull out one of those fancy-smelling cigars, lighting it with a match in one fluid motion. He sat by the window in his tight black boxers, looking more handsome than ever. "So," he began, sitting on his knees next to him on the bed. "You were sent to kill me. Considering your line of work, I assume the penalty will not be pleasant."
"Eh, I ain't always killin'," Jesse said, blowing smoke through the window and looking at the dark skies. "But yer right. Failin' a job ain't pretty."
"What will happen?" Hanzo felt bad. He opened his sake, guzzling it like a fish.
"Hopefully just a slap on the wrist," Jesse took a drag, watching him put back that sake like nothing. He was going to have to try some of that stuff. "Probably gonna hafta take small-fry jobs 'til I prove my worth again."
Hanzo thought to himself for a bit. He didn't want Jesse to struggle because of him! How could he help? "And how exactly would you prove that the job was completed?"
"Blood," Jesse answered. "I gotta bring back a vial of your blood."
"How absurd," Han scoffed. "How is that proof? You could just injure me and claim the job was complete!" Coming from a line of assassins, there were many more effective ways to prove the job was done, but foreign organizations weren't always that bright.
"Guess I never thought of it that way!" Jesse snickered. "But to be fair, there's usually a reason they're a target. I ain't heard of anyone fakin' a kill yet."
"Hm. Then, if blood is all you need, I can give you some."
"Oh, Han," Jesse faced him, cigar hanging from the corner of his mouth. "I couldn't ask ya to do that! I came to terms with the outcome of this job the moment I saw ya. I'm a big boy, I can handle it."
"I wish to," Hanzo declared, putting a hand on his knee. He knew he could handle it, but so far, he'd given him something he didn't know he needed. Why not repay the favor? "It is the least I can do. What is a little blood?"
"Han…" Jesse was moved by his offer, brushing stray black hair behind his ear. "I think Luna was right, you are a secret softie!" He laughed, pulling him forward and kissing his forehead.
Hanzo rolled his eyes with a small smile. "She is right about a lot of things," he said, finishing his first bottle of sake. "She is better at reading people than anyone I have ever met." He reached for the top drawer of his nightstand, picking up the blade he kept inside. "She was right about you being passionate."
"So, you think I'm passionate?" Jesse said through a plume of smoke and a sultry grin. "I'm only sweet for you, Han."
"And I you," Han leaned in for a few kisses while he held the blade to his palm, sliding it across his skin quickly with a light hiss.
"Whoa, Han! I didn't know you were gonna do it now!" Jesse jumped up, digging in his jacket for something to put his blood in.
"Do not worry," he looked through the drawer for a container good enough to store it for the time being. "I barely felt it."
Jesse watched him pull out a plastic container and dump the blood from his palm inside. While he did that, Jesse pulled a cloth out of his jacket and sat back on the bed, wrapping his hand with it. "Yer too good to me, darlin'."
"I hope this will keep you from getting in trouble," Hanzo kissed him again, taking in the sweet smell of smoke; it was oddly calming. Maybe it was because he'd come from a family of smokers and was used to it. Whatever the case, he quickly became attached to everything that was Jesse, and for the first time, he welcomed the change.
"It should be." Jesse made a mental note to put it in an airtight container to prevent it from drying up when he returned home in the morning. "Thank you, Han."
"There is no need to thank me," he said, looking down at his hand, now wrapped in Jesse's and a white cloth he no longer needed. There is also no need for such a thing. " He removed the fabric, his wound nonexistent.
"Damn…" Jesse muttered, amazed. "What else can ya do?"
"I have a handful of abilities, but I do not use them," Hanzo didn't like being reminded of the details of his mortality. While there were a few abilities that he could not control, like his rapid healing and his lack of fatigue, he tried not to think about them.
"How'd ya find out you had them?" Jesse stretched his legs out on the bed, leaning against the wall and opening an arm for him to scoot into.
"I suppose I found out by chance," Hanzo took the offer, scooting closer and laying his head on a sturdy chest. He trailed his digits along the curves of his muscles, not knowing he apparently liked them hairy until now! "When I woke up, I was confused and wanted to be back home because it was the only thing I knew. I blinked and I was there."
"Y'know, I've heard of demons bein' able to move around easy an' stuff, but I can't say I've seen it with my own two eyes yet," Jesse reached up, ashing his cigar through the screenless window.
"When I arrived home, the castle was abandoned due to the raid that happened before I died, but it looked like it had been ransacked several times afterward. Realizing I had nothing left, no family, no possessions, I went back to Italy," Han told him the rest of his story, holding onto his waist and listening to his steady heartbeat. "After learning I could easily go anywhere, I spent some time looking into demonic lore and things of that nature."
"An' this was after Luna rescued ya from the streets?" Jesse asked, rubbing his back.
"If you wish to view it that way," Han let out a lighthearted chuckle. "She lent me an old computer when I told her what I was up to," he glanced at the desktop sitting in the corner. "I found out I could create spells, I can move things telepathically, both living and inanimate, I do not need to eat or sleep, but just as I like being hydrated, I also like resting, so I make it a habit to try and get some sleep a few times a week. The sake helps."
"So, you could kill anyone with just a flick of your wrist if you wanted to! Damn!" Jesse was suddenly glad this job went the way it did! Who knew how horribly it would have gone if they actually fought?
"I suppose I could, but I am a peaceful being. I have gotten my fill of that lifestyle," Hanzo only wanted solitude nowadays, which was why this art class saved him. It was quiet and knowledgeable, and he got to keep to himself. "I would much rather find a hobby or two and stay out of the way. With the clan no longer existent, I do not have to fear living a normal life."
"If they were still around?"
"They would hunt me down forever. I know far too much. In a way, I am grateful for the raid," Han admitted. "Like my late younger brother, I too had thoughts of living my own life, but by the time I was old enough to know what I wanted, I was in too deep. My father was already inside my head, and I was convinced the clan was all there was."
"Well, you'd be able to just kill them all if they came after ya now," Jesse nodded, thinking it wasn't a bad idea to have a demon on his side. Spells and telepathy? He knew demons were serious, but he had no idea the extent! Why'd Talon let him take a job like that? Baptiste was right, he hadn't tangled with one before, and he was glad he didn't have to.
"Perhaps, perhaps not. They were skilled beyond comprehension and knew all my moves, not to mention, they have gone up against plenty of demon nests. I doubt I would be a threat to any of the more seasoned members," Han sighed. Just thinking about his family was exhausting! "But I do not have to worry about that anymore, and it is quite a weight off my shoulders."
Later into the night after another round or two, Hanzo found himself staring at a sleeping Jesse and contemplating life. How unfair was it that he couldn't keep him in his life forever? How unfair was it that he had to live for eternity by himself? Why did fate even bother placing him in his life if it was only temporary? He knew getting involved with this man would only be troublesome. A small part of him wished they'd become enemies instead; it would be much easier to deal with!
When Niran crashed his lips into Bap's for the first time, he didn't even need to transport them to a different universe! The fireworks and stars he saw were more beautiful than anything he'd ever seen or fabricated, but it was Bap! It should have been expected; he was exquisiteness itself! So instead, he took him to one of his favorite islands on Earth.
Bap had never felt more serene than he did when his lotus kissed him and took him on a journey through time and space. So, this was what it was like to be in the arms of an angel! He felt like a large chunk of the hole inside of him had been filled, but what was up with that missing piece? Whenever Niran was around, he was able to think with much more clarity than ever before, and he couldn't shake the feeling that there was something… not right with himself. He just couldn't put his finger on it!
"Mmm, lotus," Bap purred deeply, pecking his lips a few more times to savor the more-than-perfect sensation. He opened his eyes, pausing and looking around in awe. "This is…" They were definitely still on Earth, but it was the most grand sight he'd ever seen!
"My favorite little slice of heaven on Earth," Niran looked up at the waterfall fondly, it was always a good idea to visit! "And it looks like I picked the perfect day, just look at this weather!"
Bap watched him stand in shallow water and spin around freely, frost-white hair flowing with him. His beauty matched the earthy scenery, and all he could see was Niran.
"Come!" Niran pulled him into the water and spun him around gleefully. "This is La Réunion, my favorite little island on planet Earth," he stopped with a dreamy sigh, wanting to walk into the waterfall! "And this is the Grande Cascade. Not my favorite waterfall, but my favorite on this island. What do you think?"
"It is the most beautiful sight I've ever laid eyes on," Bap's gaze stayed glued to an ethereal angel as droplets of water splashed around him. Nothing else mattered.
"Not me, silly!" Niran grinned, skipping behind him and holding his shoulders. He peeked around him, staring at his face. "The scenery!"
"It is…" Bap took the time to actually take it all in, the sights, the smell of fresh air, the sound of wildlife all around them. "Manyifik."
"I knew you'd like it since you come from the islands yourself," Niran nodded, agreeing with his silent appreciation.
"Yeah, but…" Bap crouched, dipping his hands in the comfortable water. It was true he was familiar with this type of land, but he couldn't remember seeing anything quite as stunning. "There was nothing like this. I remember growing up wishing I could run away to a secret hideaway like this back home, but I never got the chance."
"If there's ever a place you want to go, just tell me, and I'll make it happen."
"I know you would, lotus," Bap sighed out, stepping further into the water and thanking himself for putting on shorts. He looked up at the sky, it had to only be about one or two in the afternoon. "La Réunion, huh? Where exactly in the world are we? I can't say I've heard of this place."
"We're about three, maybe four hundred miles east of Madagascar," Niran shielded his eyes from the sun as he looked past the trees, past all the land and water, spotting the much larger island. "It's that way," he pointed a thumb in the general direction.
"Madagascar, hmm…" Bap thought aloud. "Can't see that from the beach, huh?" Right as he asked, he blinked and found himself on an isolated part of a beach, staring out into the water.
"Nope! Too far," Niran peered past the water, spotting the island only with his angelic sight. "I think the human eye only has about a three-mile radius, but it differs from person to person."
"Really? Only three miles?" Bap was surprised, having felt like he'd seen islands further out than that before.
"To be honest, I can't really explain it," Niran knew what he was thinking, and he didn't really have an explanation. "Believe it or not, I don't know everything. I have questions just as you do."
"So," Bap spun around and grabbed him, holding him by the waist and pressing his lips into his neck. "You mean to tell me you're not some all-knowing being? I feel fooled!"
"Fooled! Ha!" Niran laughed boisterously, being pulled down onto soft, warm sand. "It's true I have a wide range of knowledge, but I only learn about things I care about or things that interest me," he said, sitting next to him and propping his upper body up with his hands. "I'm a quick learner, so if you really want to know, give me a few minutes and I can find out for you!"
"Nah, don't worry about it. It was just a thought," Bap scooted closer to him, following his actions and propping himself up, staring out at the royal blue water with a happy sigh. He rested his head on his shoulder, feeling… happy for the first time in a long time. Sure, he'd been content, but this happiness? It almost felt… restoring.
"You seem to be in a good mood," Niran chirped, holding the side of Bap's face. He hoped he was finally getting the rest he needed, real rest, real relaxation.
"I am," Bap nodded, closing his eyes and letting his warmth wash over him. "For once."
"With having to go to Rome, I wouldn't have expected it," Niran remembered how much of a toll failing a job took on him, so to see him in such high spirits was surprising. He'd already planned on keeping more of a watchful eye than usual for a bit because of it, but he was beginning to think maybe he didn't have to.
"Oh, about that," Bap laid back on the sand, not caring that it was getting all in his hair and clothes. "Instead of going to Rome, I get a second chance."
"A second chance?"
"Yeah. I was setting an appointment to visit when my boss called me and told me if I took this next job, I'd be off the hook for the last one," Bap explained, watching the clouds move slowly in the sky.
"That's different!" Niran had an idea of how strict they were, and it only led him to believe there was something deeper brewing. "What's the new job?"
"I'm actually pretty excited," Bap cheesed, looking over at a glowing lotus. "I get to travel. Leave Italy for the first time in a while—well, for work purposes. I need to recover a box from some abandoned castle in Japan, and I'd much rather do that than go to Rome and get reprimanded."
"Hm," Niran thought to himself for a bit. "No grave desecration or corpse defiling?" He joked, knowing Bap's humor landed a little on the darker side.
"Heh, nope. Not this time," Bap chuckled, crossing his arms behind his head. "It's been a while since I had an easy job like this one. Since the place is abandoned, I don't expect any issues."
"Sounds simple enough," Niran didn't want to say anything just yet, but he felt off about this. All of a sudden, after years of strict rules and questionable jobs, they send him on a simple search mission? While he also didn't expect him to run into any trouble during, it was the final result that worried him. What was so special about that box that Talon wanted it? What was in it? What would happen once Bap completed the mission?
Thought after thought plagued him. Should he let him complete this job and see what happens to not raise suspicion, or should he tell him about his concerns? What if they were invalid, and this was truly a simple gig that had no life-threatening consequences? He supposed he could always watch over him while he got it done and step in if there was a problem, but what if by then it was too late?
He wasn't as familiar with how Talon operated as he felt like he should have been, and it bothered him to no end. He should have dug a bit deeper into that part of Bap's life, but he was too swept up by Bap himself to notice how… different his mindset had become since he started working for them until it was nearly too late. He hadn't the slightest clue just how badly he'd been brainwashed until he went to dig up the grave of a friend and showed no emotion for it. It was when he gave up internally, accepting death as he was beaten up that Niran knew there was still good left in him, that he still knew right from wrong and could be saved.
But was it really saving him if he let him go on this job? When he left him the first day, he went to try and find out anything he could about Talon, but their secrets were heavily guarded. However, they weren't guarded enough to keep Bap's old faction from cracking the safe and discovering them. And it was because of that, his ex-squadmate died at their hands in a staged "accident".
He wondered, was that what Bap was supposed to recover? Had his old friend been buried with those secrets? If so, it was even weirder that they'd let him off the hook! There was no telling what sorts of things went on behind headquarters doors, so why would they just let this fly? Did they have other methods of recovery? It wouldn't be easy with how off-grid that group lived, but maybe… just maybe… if they discovered what was really going on, they'd find Bap and stop him themselves.
After all, wasn't that what friends were for?
Niran knew they still cared about Bap, maybe even loved him, and no matter how rough things got between them, there wouldn't be any bad blood, just… growth. So, should he hold out hope that his friends would find him before he did something he couldn't take back, or should he step in and stop him himself?
Perhaps he could pay them a visit. Not a physical visit, but maybe he could find them and see what they were up to. To do that, he'd have to leave Bap again, and neither of them wanted that!
As time moved along, Niran fought with himself to just tell him the truth behind everything that was going on; he wanted to know! But… he didn't want to overwhelm him. Once everything came crashing down on him, he'd turn into a recluse and drink himself into oblivion, maybe even going as far as shutting him out! If he shut him out, he wouldn't be able to help him through it properly! He needed to ease him into it, to tell him little by little until he realized it himself while at the same time, healing him mentally.
"What's got you so deep in thought?" Bap broke the silence and reached up, combing his fingers through silky hair.
"Oh, just thinking about the plans I have for you," Niran replied honestly, sounds of softly crashing waves soothing him.
"What kind of plans?"
"Plans like…" Niran quickly thought of a change of subject, not wanting to reveal his plans just yet. "Japan, have you been?"
"Can't say that I have. I'm eager to try Japanese food from the source," Bap was a foodie. He loved trying all sorts of new dishes and immersing himself in new cultures, but since he started working for Talon, he did it less and less, as if he no longer cared about trying new things. What was up with that? "It's been a while since I've eaten anything outside of the few things I get at the market."
"I want to change that," Niran knew he hadn't been his normal self in quite some time, which was why he was taking him all over. What better way to find yourself than to explore?
"Yeah?"
"Wanna visit before you go?" Niran asked with hopeful stars in his eyes. "We can sightsee and eat some good food while you get a feel for the new city."
"You'd go out of your way to do that for little old me?" Bap perked up, his mood getting better and better!
"Oh, hush!" Niran swatted his arm playfully, standing up and offering a helpful hand. "Nothing is too out of the way for you! Where's your gig?"
"Kyoto," Bap took his hand and was pulled up by a lotus stronger than he expected, nearly stumbling into his arms. "Someone's strong," he said shyly.
"Well, I am an angel," Niran giggled, brushing the sand from Bap's clothes. "I'm actually one of the weaker ones amongst others, but much stronger than a normal human. My abilities are focused on health."
Before Bap could respond, he blinked and was standing by a river, surrounded by trees and hugged by comfortable evening weather. "Is this…?"
"Welcome to Kyoto! This is the Katsura River, home to some of the oldest shrines in Japan." Niran stepped forward with his arms out, taking in the fresh, new air. Well, he shouldn't go as far as calling it 'fresh' with all the pollution humans emitted, but it wasn't as bad as other places. "It looks like it's getting dark here soon," he noticed, peering up through the treetops at the setting sun. "Wanna go check things out? We can be a couple of tourists!"
Bap looked over at Niran, who was just beaming at him. His happiness was contagious. He wanted more. "I'll follow you anywhere, lotus."
Niran led him into the city still bustling with life, everyone on their own personal adventure. He'd always taken a liking to Japan and was glad he got a chance to visit with Bap. It was amazing to see how far civilization had come since he was a member of Earth, and it always fascinated him to see humans adapt and thrive. They came up with some of the most interesting things, and Japan was by far one of the most advanced countries in the world! "You mentioned food," he spoke up, glancing at the establishment signs around them. "What did you have in mind?"
"I've always wanted to try ramen," Bap said, looking around and trying to make out what things said using context clues. He was starting to think his job was going to be harder than expected; he didn't speak a lick of Japanese! How was he supposed to navigate these foreign streets? "Real, authentic ramen, Not the stuff that comes dried in plastic packaging."
"That should be easy enough," Niran expanded his view, looking past all the nearby businesses and finding a popular-looking restaurant that wasn't too crowded. He wasn't a fan of large crowds. "Found a spot!"
Bap saw him looking off into the distance and groaned. "How far is it?"
"Relax~ it's within walking distance!" Niran hooked their arms together and pulled him along, politely nodding at the few passersby. "What a lovely evening! We'll have to visit often if you're up for it!" He glanced behind him at Bap, who looked like he was trying to read the signs. How cute.
"I don't know about that," Bap replied reluctantly. The further into the city he got, the more nervous he became. He wasn't a quick learner when it came to learning new languages; it took him forever to learn Italian, and he still wasn't comfortable! He only knew English because he spoke it along with French and Haitian Creole growing up, but Japanese? He was in way over his head! "I envy your ability to read any language, I assume."
"I can't read or understand every language," Niran stopped at a corner, spotting the restaurant. "I only learn the ones I like! And I have favorites!"
"How many do you speak?" Bap followed him across the street and into a small, yet homey restaurant. He held his stomach, growling hungrily at the smell of delicious food.
"A few hundred," Niran looked around, locking eyes with one of the employees who was coming to greet them.
"Irasshaimase!" The waiter approached the two tourists with a smile, always happy to see new faces. "You can sit anywhere you like," he gestured at the empty tables around them and handed them menus. "I will be right with you."
"Arigatō," Niran thanked him as he walked away. "Where do you want to sit, dàalíng?"
"Anywhere is fine," Bap was always awed at everything that was Niran. Even uttering something as simple as 'thank you' in another language was enough to woo him! He sat across from him at a table in the corner, away from the main seating area. "Like to keep to yourself, huh?"
"As if you're not the same way!" Niran laughed, going over his menu.
"You mentioned you had some favorite languages," Bap mimicked his actions, going over the menu and happy they also used English words and letters. He already had an idea of what he wanted, he just needed to find it.
"I do! Next to French, I'd have to say Farsi is my number one favorite!" Niran had always thought Farsi was an absolutely beautiful language. "When I first became an angel, I spent some time in the Middle East and immersed myself in the culture. You may know the language as Persian."
"What does it sound like?" Bap was intrigued. He wanted to know everything there was to know about his lotus.
"I personally think it sounds like a mixture of French and Arabic," Niran hummed, choosing his dish and a juice to wash it down with. He hadn't gone out to eat like this in years; he'd forgotten how much he missed interaction! He'd spent so much time alone, keeping to himself while watching over Earth, it was like second nature to him. But being with Bap like this… it was like first nature!
"Can I hear some?"
"Goodness," Niran blushed, averting his eyes sheepishly. "When you put me on the spot like that, my mind goes blank!"
"Sorry," Bap reached across the table and put a hand atop his. "I didn't mean to make you nervous."
"It's fine," Niran grinned. "I'll let you hear some when I can think of something to say!" He glanced at his menu before putting it down. "Ready to order?"
"I think so," Bap scanned the laminated menu again, slightly frustrated that he couldn't find the ramen he wanted. "I'm having a hard time finding what I've been craving."
Niran tilted his head to the side with a soft smile. "Need some help?"
"Actually… yeah, if you don't mind," Bap didn't really like asking for help because it made him feel weak, but not with his lotus. With him, he felt safe, as if he could let his guard down for the first time in a long time.
"Close your eyes."
Bap wasn't sure why he needed to close his eyes, but he did it anyway, not knowing what to expect. Seconds later, he felt gentle fingertips against his temples, and a warmth washing over his body. What was that?
"You can open them now."
He opened his eyes and saw nothing different, except an angel smiling expectantly at him. "What…?"
"Look at the menu!" Niran said hurriedly.
Bap looked down, suddenly able to read and understand everything on the menu! He looked up, stunned beyond words.
"Better?"
"L-Lotus… how did you…?" Bap looked back down, finding the ramen instantly. Glancing around the establishment, he could read everything! Could he speak it, too? He read over the menu, looking at the different dishes. "Kyoto Kujo Neki Ramen, Tonkotsu Ramen, Tonkoro Ramen, Chinese Cabbage Kimchi Ramen, this is all so… amazing."
"Good! Looks like you can speak it, too! I'm glad it worked," Niran said flirtatiously, rubbing a foot up and down his leg underneath the table. "I got the feeling you were a little overwhelmed not understanding anything, so I wanted to help you out."
"I don't even know what to say," Bap said honestly. What he just did would take him a lifetime to do on his own, but now? He could read, understand, and speak Japanese fluently, and it was thanks to the greatest being to ever appear in his life. "Thank you."
"Anything for you, Bap," Niran smiled as the waiter approached the table.
"Sorry for the wait. What can I get for you guys?" The man asked warmly.
"Taiwan mazesoba ga tabetai," Niran ordered his dish fluently and handed him the menu, surprising the waiter as he glanced at Bap.
"Yoi sentaku!" The man nodded at his choice, surprised he spoke the language. "Soshite nomimono wa?" He asked, inquiring about drinks.
"Bananajūsu ga hoshīdesu," Niran saw a banana juice that looked really good and wanted to try it.
"Wakatta," the man confirmed, looking at the other gentleman, did he speak Japanese, too?
"Watashi ni totte no tonkotsu rāmen," Bap ordered his ramen, deciding not to order a drink. "Dōmo arigatō," he thanked the waiter as he handed him his menu.
"So," Niran started as the waiter walked away. "What was it like being able to have a fluent conversation in a new language?"
"Indescribable," Bap leaned back in his seat, looking through the window at the river. "Now that I can navigate my way around here a bit easier, I'll take you up on your offer to come back."
"I knew you'd appreciate it," Niran felt accomplished! Even though he was far from saved, he felt like Bap reclaimed a tiny piece of himself.
"I don't know what it is, but when I'm with you, I feel like a new man," Bap said openly. "Before you came along, I felt… restricted, like I was being held back by something. Every time I see you, that feeling fades a little."
"What if I told you that was my goal?" Niran eased into it, taking his hand across the table. "I want you to be your best self again."
"Again?" Bap raised a brow. There he went again saying things like that. As sweet as his words were, they only confused him. "When are you going to tell me what you're really doing?"
"When the time is right. Will you continue to trust me?" Niran squeezed his hand, hopefully washing away his doubts.
"I will always trust you, lotus."
After they ate their food, they spent the rest of the evening exploring around and window shopping and just chatting about any and everything. Eventually, they lost track of time, and the sun had gone down completely, bringing their short trip to Japan to an end. Of course, Bap didn't want him to leave his side, so he mentioned that it was Friday and that his roommate was most likely not going to return until late Saturday morning if that. Niran, being equally flirty, got the hint and offered to spend the night with him, to which Bap immediately agreed.
When they got back to Italy, it was still daylight, just heading into the evening, and Niran was excited to spend some quality home time with him. He always watched him live his life from afar and wanted nothing but to be included in his day-to-day activities. He was obviously going to jump on the opportunity! So, they spent the rest of the day cuddled up on the couch, watching movies and sipping fancy wine Niran manifested from one of his otherworldly vineyards until Bap grew drowsy.
"Ruz khobi dashti?" Niran asked softly into his ear as they lie in Bap's bed, chest to chest.
"What does that mean?" Bap mumbled, voice thick with sleep while his face was pressed into a firm, bare chest. It was late into the night, and his lotus had taken him all around, tiring him out! The wine he brought was incredibly strong too, so it was only making him sleepier!
"It's Persian for 'Did you have a good day?'" Niran remembered he wanted to hear some, and that was the best he could come up with at the moment!
"Oh," Bap sighed, his hold on him growing tighter. It was amazing getting to hold him at night like this. It felt so right. "I had the best day. Thank you, lotus."
"Of course," Niran melted into him, smoothing his hands all along his back. He was especially happy that he decided to go shirtless!
"Without you, I would have never been able to have such an amazing day. And to end it like this is the icing on the very beautiful cake," Bap said, looking up and caressing his cheek. "I hope you also had a good day."
"I can't think of a day better than this one," Niran pecked his lips softly, trying to keep them both from getting riled up.
"As long as you stay by my side, we'll have many more," Bap returned his kiss with passion, roaming hands landing on a taut butt. "Thank you for staying with me tonight."
"You don't have to thank me, dàalíng," Niran gasped softly as lips found the sensitive spot on his neck, pressing against warm skin longingly.
"I keep trying to hold myself back, but you're just too sexy," Bap pushed his hips into him, letting him feel what he was doing to him! "You're driving me crazy."
"Whyever would you hold yourself back?" Niran asked incredulously, holding his face. "We were a match made in heaven, after all."
"That's exactly it," Bap looked into gleaming hazel eyes, cautious and guarded. "I don't want to make the wrong move or take things too far… you're an angel, and I'm…"
"You keep saying that, but it means nothing," Niran understood where his concerns stemmed from, and he couldn't exactly make sense out of it either, but this was happening, and it was okay.
"I've never really been religious, but I know what's right and wrong," Bap explained his train of thought, wanting him to see where he was coming from. "What we're doing… it's a sin, isn't it?"
Niran just shrugged with a slight smile, letting him work through his thought process.
"How…?" How could he phrase his question without it coming out wrong? "How can you be an angel? How is it okay… for us to be doing this?"
"If I told you I didn't have an answer, what would you say?"
"There's nothing to say to that!" Bap let out a sharp exhale in a chuckle, hugging him closely again. "Well, whatever the case… if you say it's okay, then I'll trust you. I might still be a little hesitant, but I'll get there."
"Take all the time you need," Niran's breath hitched, Bap's hand making its way down the front of him and landing on his own steadily growing girth. "W-Which apparently isn't much…" he breathed out, holding onto his shoulders.
"I won't go all the way," Bap crooned into his ear, working them both out of their bottoms and holding them together in his hand. "I just need something. Can I, lotus?"
"Oh, Bap!" Niran was practically throwing himself at him! It was about time he made the first move! "Do what you want to me!"
Bap wasted no time suctioning his mouth to his neck and leaving his signature on caramel skin, humming and pumping his hand slowly. "Bondye, this feels so good, lotus," he knew if it felt this good just rubbing them together, it would feel a million times better once he got in there! And with how surprisingly big he was, he wanted to know what he felt like in more ways than one.
"Bap…" Niran panted, arching into him promiscuously. He was right; this felt better than words could describe! If he kept it up, he'd get there in no time! "More…"
"Mmm, as badly as I want to give you more," Bap moved down a few inches, giving his chest some attention while he slowed his pace. "I want to take it nice and slow."
"Oh, don't be a tease!" Niran pouted, thrusting his hips to increase the friction. He reached down and moved his hand, gripping them with a bit more force.
"Me? You've been teasing me since day one," Bap said deeply, marking up his chest while a particularly worked up angel got them both off. He'd admit, it felt better the way his lotus did it!
"Not on purpose!" Niran moaned, lifting Bap's face with his free hand and kissing him deeply. He wanted this to last just as long as he did, but he couldn't stop himself! He was so scrumptious!
"Lotus," Bap grunted out in uneven breaths, nearing his quick release. "I… I don't want to come just yet…" he wanted to savor it! But a certain someone wasn't going to let that happen!
"Bap…!" Niran heard what he was saying, but he was too far gone to slow down! He kissed him again, tongue swirling around in a hot mouth as he shivered, his hips jerking as he made a mess all over their stomachs.
Bap closed his eyes while they shared passionate kisses, a feeling of euphoria washing over him when his lotus reached his climax, sending him to his own. Goosebumps graced his skin, and his body trembled as they spilled out together, their lips still connected and unwilling to part.
What had he done in his life to earn something so divine?
