Back again so soon I know.
I am trying to get a head with chapters. Should I release it as soon as I am finished?
The whole editing thing I am also terrible at. But, I try to clean up my mistakes.
Tell me about the story your views and takes. Going to be similiar to Invincible with a bit more umph.
Onward with my story.

Invulnerable:Chapter Seven
Seeing Red
a couple minutes earlier...
She was flying, holding her books close to her chest, red hair flowing in the wind. She loved flying, the sensation, the ability to see others below her, and as a bonus not having to care about traffic. She rolled her eyes dumb traffic. Don't know how my parents do it.
In front of her, she saw hundreds of students being filed into the school. Her school Reginald Vel Johnson. She sighed I want to show the World who I am, not some weak high school student trying to figure out her life.
She sighed as she dropped down onto the soft grass, in her little outcropping on the edge of the school. She used it to hide the fact of who she really was.
She was powerful and she knew it. But, a constant battle with her parents limiting her with the constant bickering. She closed her fist in frustration. Why can't I be out there saving people who deserve it? She thought. Looking out into the rising morning sun. She visibly calmed and relaxed. Back to being normal.
Eve walked across the campus at a brisk pace, blending in, the constant chatter of students speaking about school and homework typical school stuff.
She made her way to the doors, already fully opened. She was pushed from her left, from the movement of the crowd, as she literally stumbled into a brick wall. She dropped her books as she fell over onto the ground, what the hell? why would someone just be standing there?
Pushing herself up onto her elbows, she heard a male voice that sounded like a actor in a movie, deep and something that commanded attention. The lot of people went around them in a circle to avoid hitting her.
"Hey there let me help you." The voice said. She looked up to a man in a black tight fitting shirt, black boots, blue jeans. Over his broad shoulders were blue straps of a backpack. Then she looked to, His Eyes?
She had never seen eyes that green before, a green of the ocean, more green than her own, but with a darker hue, She looked down slowly to his hand, a tattoo of somekind was over his forearm, is that a dove?
She quickly took the rather unusual calloused hands of the green eyed stranger. He pulled her up rather easily.
"Hey, thank you sorry about that I didn't mean too, but you know lots of people." Eve said in a shy manner as she looked up to the black haired man.
He smiled as a row of pearly white teeth could be seen, "Do not be sorry it was my fault really, I was the one standing in the middle, I was looking for the office but I have no clue where it is." The stranger said chuckling as he ran his fingers through his unruly hair.
"Are you new here to R.V.J?, because I don't think I have ever seen you here before." Yeah I would never forget the face damnnnn she thought.
"Uhm, yes I just recently moved here, I am staying at a friend of my mom's to look at colleges." He replied as he quickly looked down to the mess of books all over the floor, he kneeled to pick them up.
"That's amazing, welcome."
Her books were now in his rather large hands, he gave them to her. "You should really get a backpack." He chuckled jokingly. As she touched her hands to his, a shiver ran down her spine. "Thank you, here let me walk you to the office, the least I can do, for bumping into you." She chuckled.
He chuckled too, he gestured for her to lead the way. As the two fell into stride, down the locker filled hallway.
"So, where do you come from?" She asked, books clutched to her chest once again.
"New York City." He replied,as he smiled at her. "I assume you are from Chicago?"
"As a matter a fact I am, and Chicago is way better then New York City." She chimed in.
"Oh you've been there."
"once or twice, have you seen much of Chicago?."
"No not yet just barely got situated yesterday a long process, you know the usual." He said with a frown.
"We are here." Eve said gesturing with a hand as she faced him. She could smell a pleasant aroma of the ocean on him.
"Thanks I do appreciate it, sorry about making you fall."
She turned away from him to head towards her first class, "Hey it was my fault, anyway good luck." She said giving him a small wave.
He grinned, "By the way, What is your name?, you know in case I need to help pick up your books again."
She laughed, "I am Eve and yours?"
"I am Percy."
Percy she thought as she walked away, as Percy walked into the office.
W/Percy
Eve he thought as she walked away, as he walked into the office.
Her eyes are what did it for him, a pleasant light green, so innocent, they sparkled in a way, she mesmerized him, her sweet sounding voice the red hair, her banter, her poise as she walked beside him.
He sighed alright school things.
He spent the better part of the day in the office doing paperwork, orientation as they called it. He was shown around the school by a Principal Winslow. A no nonsense kind of guy. Typical Principal vibes, all the same. He was shown where his classes were, the lunch room, and everything else about the school. The expectations to be upheld, "No mischief young man," the usual things Percy went through his first go around in school.
Percy let out a groan as the final bell rang for the day, why do you need so much paperwork for a school. As he set down his pen, the final documents now having been moved to his school file. He quickly moved out of the stuffy office.
Coming out of the office, teens were all bustling about now heading out of the school. He pushed his way into the crowd. Now where the Hades is Mark. He looked around to find the blue sweater of Mark. Looking for a few minutes he decided to use a small locator spell, under his breath, he was found to be outside, speaking with Amber. Percy strode up to the two lovebirds.
"Marky you didn't tell me how boring this shit is." Percy said staring a hole through Mark.
"Awe, Polkadot you know I tried to tell you, but no you said you knew everything." Mark quickly replied laughing.
Percy with a smile, turning to Mark's girlfriend, "Permission to kick his ass."
"Oh please do he deserves it." Amber replied glaring at Mark, in a teasing way
Mark looked horrified, but still he refused to back down,"bring it polkadot man." Percy took a step forward before Mark stood up straight and was now looking behind him.
"Hey Eve." Mark said to the girl behind Percy.
Percy whirled around, those light green eyes met his own, his heart beat a little faster.
"Hi Eve, still haven't found a backpack I see." Percy teased
"No Percy, I have not cause if I did I would have you picking up everything that I would have in that bag, and as a girl it would be more than you could handle." She teased back.
"You two know each other?" Asked the curious Mark with a quick glance to Amber.
Eve rolled her eyes, "Yes, we met this morning had to show him to the office, since he is new here."
"More like we bumped into each other someone had to pick up her books." He joked with a grin, to the red haired Eve.
She ignored his comment, "How do you, Percy, know Mark?"
Mark answered, "He's staying at my place. His mom and my mom are good friends and he needed a place to find colleges."
"So, he's the friend you were speaking about earlier?" Eve said eyeing up Percy.
"Yes I didn't know you knew Marky over here, otherwise I would've mentioned him instead." Percy said eyeing Eve. "By the way how do you tw-."
"We've been going to the same school since we were like 6." Amber said looping her arm into Mark's. "How else would we not know each other?."
Percy looking over the short girl, with his hands up, "Hey Marky over here doesn't mention everything important." As he glared at Mark.
"Hey we have been busy moving you in Polkadot. Its not like-"
A loud ring was heard as Mark's phone went off. Percy saw him pick it up and look at the screen in concern.
"Excuse me I have to take this." Mark said flushed. As he walked off too an open space out of earshot.
Percy curious, looked to the others and shrugged, "Well I do hate school, and I am not even in classes yet?"
Eve, curious about Mark's phone call, replied," do not worry Percy you will be fine, just gotta sit still eight hours a day, and tune out the boring teachers or find a hobby."
Percy horrified, "Me sit still for eight hours, oh Hades no, this is my nightmare brought to life, I don't know why I let Debbie and Mark talk me into this." He switched his tune, "But, I am Percy and I am amazing at everything it will be a piece of cake plus if not I will have to kick Mark down the stairs."
Amber laughed, "Oh please record it, to hold it against him."
Eve chuckling at Percy's jokes," Ha well never say never."
During this Percy could hear the tense conversation of Mark on the Phone with a man, something about a debt that the guy owed and how Mark really wanted to help him topple this local crimelord.
Mark walked back to the three teens, "Hey uhhh I have to go, it is about work and it is really urgent." He said pleadingly to Amber.
"it is okay Mark, I understand, go I can walk myself home." Amber replied with a bit of disappointment in her eyes.
"You're the best, I promise to make it up to you." Mark said as he went up and kissed Amber on the lips. Both Percy and Eve looked away in embarrassment before they met eyes. She is gorgeous.
He is gorgeous.
"Hey polkadot, I trust you can make it back home on your own." Mark said pulling away from the kiss with Amber.
Percy a bit red in the cheeks, "Yes Marky, I am not a baby." He gave Mark a look that told Mark he knew what was happening and where he was heading. Mark acknowledged him. He gave Amber another sorrowful look. Then he took off at a brisk pace to the sidewalk before eventually he walked out of sight.
"It was great meeting you Percy, but I have to get home you know, homework and my parents killing me." Eve said staring into his oceanic eyes.
"It was lovely to meet you too, Eve." Percy said staring into the light green glow of her eyes.
Eve gave a nod to Amber before she also took off at a brisk pace to the side of the school.
"So, big guy that happen to you often?" Amber said nonchalantly.
"Does what happen?" Said Percy.
"A girl fawning over you."
Percy blinked, "No not really, does Mark usually skip out on you?" He replied easily.
Amber with a smirk ignored the change in subject, "yeah he does but I am used to it, I think, he never tells me what but I am waiting for him to tell me."
"It is okay, give him time, but trust me Mark is a good guy." Percy said with a sympathetic look.
"Awee well what can you do, see you tomorrow Percy." Amber said as she walked away towards her home.
Percy looked back red bricked school. Maybe this won't be so bad after all, especially with Eve, he thought as he also took off to the side of the building, in the dark shade, with barely a thought burst into a fine mist.
Elsewhere...
She was desperate, she didn't know what to think why would he do this? Hes the love of my life, he couldn't have. She thought Walking back and forth in the kitchen of her home.
Damnnnn this was a tough one.
I did terrible I know but tried to make some sense. Don't worry we are getting action.
So what do you think so far? How you like my writing so far? What would you like to see? Anyone recognize the hints?
Action probably next chapter who knows.
Eve and Percy know Mark is invincible but Percy and Eve don't know they both have powers.
