Chapter 2-4: THIS Is Your House?!
Sometime later, everyone arrives to see a few houses. And one of them looks like a pink and white house with straw for a roof, and has a stone fence with a gate. And close to it, is a yellow house with a red roof, and two blue doors.
"We're here! Go on and get out of the van, everyone. Welcome to our humble abode!" Dylla says.
Everyone then climbs out of the van and is surprised.
"THIS is your house?!" The group replies, surprised.
"It doesn't even seem real... Like something out of a picture book," Epel says.
"Or an amusement park…" Ortho says.
"I could see fairies living in a house like this," Silver adds.
"Even the trees around it are an unusual color. Do people really live here?" Epel asks.
Ortho says, "The roof is made of straw, and the architecture is completely different from the other surrounding structures. Deuce Spade, your home is most intriguing…"
"It sure looks pretty," Briar says.
Sereia and Trinket nod.
"Looks really old fashioned," Jasper says.
"I do think it looks nice," Tanzanite says.
"This isn't anythin' like I'd imagined! Where's your room? Second floor?" Grim asks.
"No," Deuce says.
"First floor, then?" Sereia asks.
"You're not even close. That building is the Clock Town Hall of Records," Deuce says.
"Huh?" Epel says, confused.
Deuce turns to the yellow building, "I live in these apartments. My room is on the top right."
"Oh, so we were way off... Honestly, I'm kind of relieved," Epel says.
Soon, Dylla arrives with their costumes, "Here you go, everyone. These are your costumes."
"Wow, there's so many!" Epel says, surprised.
"Ooh, look at that one—it looks just like the White Rabbit!" Ortho says.
Deuce turns to Ortho, ""Can you even wear any of this, Ortho?"
"No, I can't run the risk of it interfering with the heat exhaust of my School Uniform gear," Ortho says.
"Aw, what a shame!" Dylla replies.
"I see, that's too bad," Briar says.
But then Ortho says, "Though with proper machinery, I could fashion a gear based on this costume's design."
"You can actually make one?" Tanzanite asks.
"Yes. I most certainly can," Ortho says.
"What do you need?" Deuce asks.
"A lot of things, but most importantly a 3D printer to fabricate the molding," Ortho says.
Deuce thinks for a minute, "Hm, well...that can probably be arranged."
"Huh?" Ortho says, confused.
Deuce explains, "There's a blastcycle workshop next to my apartment."
"There is?!" Epel asks, surprised.
Deuce nods, "Mhm. There's quite a few of them in town."
"Right, this town is full of craftspeople who work with precision instruments," Ortho says.
Then Deuce says, "That workshop should have a 3D printer, and whatever other tools and machinery you need. Let's go have a look, Ortho. The rest of you should go ahead and get changed."
"So, about the costumes. I'd say pick what you want, but I'm afraid I'll have to divvy them out by size…" Deuce says. Then passes each costume to the group, "Epel, this one's yours. Here's your Sereia. Tanzanite, and Jasper. Silver...this one, I guess? Ooh, Grim, this ribbon has your name all over it!" Then turns to Briar, "Which leaves you and Trinket...hm," And brings out some costumes, "Ooh, this one should be good!"
"Oh thank you," Briar says.
"I suppose we should get changed," Silver says.
